00:00:00.000 We've seen brave men overcome obstacles that seem insurmountable and forces that seem overwhelming.
00:00:06.920 Men with courage and vision can still determine their own destiny.
00:00:12.380 They can choose slavery or freedom, war or peace.
00:00:18.360 I have no doubt which they will choose.
00:00:21.340 That was then-President Harry Truman speaking to world leaders at the NATO signing ceremony back in 1949.
00:00:31.520 Today, leaders will gather in that same auditorium in Washington, D.C.
00:00:37.780 to mark 75 years since the world's most powerful security alliance was formed.
00:00:43.460 Wall Street Journal op-ed piece by Jerry Baker about how Labour won a crushing victory in part because populists and conservatives couldn't become aligned in Britain.
00:00:56.920 You, you're right, your piece is absolutely fascinating and a lesson that, a critical lesson going back to what you've been writing about for years,
00:01:07.240 and that is how to defeat populism.
00:01:10.080 And you talk about two types of populism, actually, that Labour was able to defeat.
00:01:15.940 How did, how did they do it?
00:01:19.640 So, and this is relevant to the NATO summit too, of course, what the Labour Party did was reform itself.
00:01:27.120 And led by Keir Starmer, who is now the prime minister, they, they moved it away from, from far left positions that it had had under the previous leader,
00:01:36.460 Jeremy Corbyn, who lost a couple of elections with those.
00:01:38.980 They moved it, not just to the centre, but they moved it to economic, local, domestic issues.
00:01:46.900 So, schools, hospitals, you know, the, the, you know, what people, what people think about when they wake up in the morning.
00:01:55.300 They tried to reconnect it with ordinary voters.
00:01:58.180 They talk about working people.
00:02:00.160 They talk about service.
00:02:01.400 You can hear it in all of their language and every, every, every, every Labour politician that I met last week, everybody that I interviewed uses the same kind of language.
00:02:10.260 And at the same time, they used that language to fight the previous, the legacy of the previous Tory governments who had used populism, nationalism, fear of immigrants to create a kind of hysteria about the need to, you know, for Britain to defend itself, remove itself from Europe, remove itself from institutions.
00:02:29.760 And by refocusing on what people care about, and by saying they want to show that Labour is a, is a reliable partner, it's a part of, it's a part of the world, we're going to trade normally with our, with our neighbours.
00:02:44.000 By doing that, they made Labour a trustworthy party again, and they won.
00:02:49.200 And it's not an exact, exact parallel to the US at all, it's a different, different voting system, and so on.
00:02:56.440 But, but that instinct, that what really matters is how we talk to people, you know, why they should vote for us, you know, making yourselves electable in the best possible sense, is a way to defeat both this kind of mad, sometimes madness on the left, as well as the really dangerous right-wing populism that we now have everywhere.
00:03:16.840 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
00:03:24.860 Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
00:03:30.080 Here's the time I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people, the people have had a belly full of it.
00:03:36.260 I know you don't like hearing that, I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it, it's going to happen.
00:03:41.620 And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
00:03:45.040 MAGA Media.
00:03:45.940 I wish, in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:03:51.820 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
00:03:55.580 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
00:04:01.860 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Vance.
00:04:05.200 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard.
00:04:14.980 Today is 9 July 2024, year of our Lord.
00:04:19.500 You're in the War Room, and Steve Bannon is a political prisoner.
00:04:23.800 Today, the 75th anniversary of NATO opens right down the road from where we sit, ensconced in the War Room embassy.
00:04:34.320 Zelensky is coming to town.
00:04:36.140 Every single member of NATO is coming to town, including the Japanese, the South Koreans.
00:04:41.360 But I'll tell you, someone who won't be coming is an American president or an American commander-in-chief.
00:04:46.920 Because as of right now, it is hard to understand whether or not America has a commander-in-chief.
00:04:53.920 Certainly not from 4 p.m. until 10 a.m.
00:04:57.020 Who is the commander-in-chief from 4 p.m. to 10 a.m.?
00:04:59.980 And we're going to drill down with Congress today to try to figure out that very question.
00:05:04.120 Because the House GOP needs to get on the ball regarding this specifically.
00:05:09.520 Then you've got, look at what's happened over in the U.K. and over in France.
00:05:13.360 We thought the right was resurgent.
00:05:14.740 We thought the right was.
00:05:15.580 And, in fact, they were.
00:05:16.980 Look, Ann Applebaum up there on the Atlantic, you know, she's got her piece in the Atlantic today.
00:05:20.500 She's up there on MSNBC.
00:05:21.760 Oh, the labor, the great victory.
00:05:23.520 No, it wasn't that.
00:05:24.460 It wasn't that at all.
00:05:25.340 It was the fact that the Tories campaigned like a bunch of globalist liberals, that they embraced mass immigration,
00:05:32.920 they embraced the pride flag everywhere in the country, and they got their lunch eaten by Nigel Farage.
00:05:39.780 Labor was the de facto winner.
00:05:42.560 They were not the will of the people.
00:05:45.040 That was not their will.
00:05:46.380 So we have these governments that have taken power because, as the same way we saw in France,
00:05:50.660 what did Macron do, the deal with the devil to get the Islamists and the Antifa militias that we now see marching across Paris.
00:05:58.880 You think that won't happen here?
00:06:00.300 No.
00:06:00.740 We are 118 days to victory, 118 days to victory.
00:06:05.100 And I'd like to open the show with this, a little message.
00:06:07.760 Hey, Joy Reid, you remember this, right, Joy?
00:06:10.240 Yeah, you remember this, Joy Reid.
00:06:11.520 So we're going to do, we're not going to pray for Steve Bannon because he didn't ask for prayers or letters,
00:06:17.620 but we're going to say a prayer for the posse.
00:06:20.180 Nomeni Padre et Filii et Spiritus Sancti. Amen.
00:06:23.060 St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
00:06:25.920 Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
00:06:28.880 May God rebuke him, we humbly pray.
00:06:30.980 And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, through the power of God,
00:06:34.520 cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits.
00:06:38.500 Prowl about the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
00:06:42.020 Nomeni Padre et Filii et Spiritus Sancti. Amen.
00:06:44.520 I want to bring in Ben Harnwell here.
00:06:47.040 Ben has been shuttling back and forth between D.C. and Rome.
00:06:51.300 He's back in Rome today, but he's over there to give us a view.
00:06:55.520 Ben, as we come into this, and it is a historic NATO summit,
00:06:59.500 I want to get in for just a tease because we've got Congressman Eli Crane coming in a minute,
00:07:03.160 so we'll go to him and then back to you.
00:07:04.360 But just give us, set the stage for us very quickly.
00:07:07.240 I know you're a little bit jet-lagged from going back to Rome overnight.
00:07:09.580 Set the stage for the importance of this NATO meeting as Zelensky comes to town.
00:07:15.440 Well, good morning, Posse.
00:07:16.860 Good morning, Warren Posse.
00:07:18.860 It's really a shtick on behalf of an institution that no longer has a purpose in the modern world,
00:07:25.660 and it's trying to justify its existence, which it has been doing since Emmanuel Macron.
00:07:30.840 And we see this now about three years ago.
00:07:33.620 We see the consequences of what he said.
00:07:35.440 He said that NATO was brain-dead and on life support.
00:07:39.060 So obviously the warmongers needed a war.
00:07:42.580 They found one.
00:07:43.380 They created one.
00:07:44.300 They walked Ukraine down the primrose path.
00:07:47.100 And they have a war.
00:07:47.880 Now, what I'm looking at now, because the NATO, this 75th anniversary summit,
00:07:52.480 runs from today until Thursday, and it's going to be a shift, I think.
00:07:58.580 They're going to try to pivot to justify their existence, not only in the North Atlantic sphere,
00:08:04.400 but you can hear soundings coming out already, Jack,
00:08:06.980 that there's an interest now in the South China Sea.
00:08:10.280 It was obviously of interest to a great many people.
00:08:13.080 But it's not – there's no way whatsoever that this is part of NATO's actual territory
00:08:19.860 to defend against invasion.
00:08:22.540 So I'd say there's Ukraine.
00:08:24.480 They're going to come out with something for Ukraine.
00:08:26.840 I've heard that the European component of NATO is going to pledge, I think,
00:08:30.160 about 43 billion euros to Ukraine.
00:08:34.360 So there's going to be some sort of soundings about Ukraine-like.
00:08:37.420 Don't forget that Biden, in a senile moment, in this Time interview,
00:08:42.400 Time magazine interview about six weeks ago,
00:08:44.480 he let slip that he had already vetoed Ukraine's entrance into NATO.
00:08:49.820 This was at the Vilnius annual summit this time last year.
00:08:53.340 But they've come up with something to keep the pretense going, at least until November.
00:08:58.560 So those are the two things that I'm looking at.
00:09:01.640 What are they going to try – how are they going to try to pivot to the South China Sea
00:09:05.760 and what are they going to line up for Zelensky as a goodie back?
00:09:10.120 If I can, Jack, I just want to respond to Anne Applebaum in the cold open.
00:09:15.460 She could not be more wrong.
00:09:18.220 Labour did not win this election.
00:09:21.120 The Tories lost it.
00:09:22.620 I'll just give a quick statistic and then I'll pass back over to you.
00:09:26.500 Five years ago in the 2019 general election, the Tories got 43.6% of the vote and Labour got 32.1%.
00:09:35.900 Hold on to that 32.1%.
00:09:37.900 This time they got 33.7%.
00:09:40.520 It's like a jump of 1.5%.
00:09:42.660 The Tory vote collapsed from 43% down to 23.7%.
00:09:50.240 So they lost 20%.
00:09:51.460 That is the consequence of what happened.
00:09:54.920 And all of their shtick about, you know, the Labour Party sort of putting out feelers.
00:09:59.920 They're going to play sort of the internationalist game with Europe.
00:10:03.300 They're going to play the internationalist game with NATO.
00:10:05.780 They veered away from populism.
00:10:07.400 It's all nonsense.
00:10:08.660 The Tory party lost the general election because it promised it would take real people living up in my area,
00:10:14.860 the East Midlands and the rest of the country.
00:10:16.500 They would take their interests seriously and they betrayed it almost instantly.
00:10:21.560 That's why the Tory party lost.
00:10:23.220 And that is the message I think Republicans in Congress in the United States should be paying attention to.
00:10:29.180 Look, look, they're trying to spin this as populism is dead, Donald Trump is dead, the movement is gone,
00:10:37.560 the MAGA movement, which foresailed the winds in 2016 with Brexit,
00:10:42.400 is now also going to be presaged by a quote-unquote populist collapse in France and England.
00:10:48.740 And that's not exactly what happened.
00:10:50.700 That's not the case whatsoever.
00:10:52.060 And we can look at the votes.
00:10:53.320 President Trump was posting this on his true social account last night.
00:10:56.080 The articles from Breitbart, he's got it up predicting exactly and reflecting exactly what you just said, Ben,
00:11:02.000 this idea that it is the right, the real right, which is resurgent.
00:11:06.420 It is the real right which is on the way up.
00:11:09.140 And, Ben, let's talk about that in a minute because I want to get in Congressman Eli Crane, who we have.
00:11:14.060 We've only got him for a brief time.
00:11:16.100 But, Congressman, thank you for coming on so much so early this morning.
00:11:19.840 I understand you have votes that you have to get to in a minute.
00:11:21.560 But what I want to drill down on here is that we have the advent of the NATO summit, the 75th anniversary today.
00:11:28.400 And yet we in the United States have serious questions about who our commander-in-chief is.
00:11:34.960 You've got a background as a Navy SEAL.
00:11:36.940 Explain to the posse and explain to the audience the significance of the fact that we're not sure who is giving the orders at the top.
00:11:43.120 Well, thanks for having me on, Jack.
00:11:46.340 I don't think you have to be a Navy SEAL or, like yourself, a naval intelligence officer to understand that or to question who is the commander-in-chief.
00:11:54.920 I mean, this guy, we've all seen it.
00:11:57.560 We saw it in prime time last week.
00:12:00.480 The guy can't put a couple sentences together.
00:12:02.480 You know, if he wasn't the president of the United States, I think he would have to, you know, have a handler, you know, taking him around, making sure, you know, he gets his pudding and his naps on a daily basis.
00:12:14.140 And it's terrifying because of the state of the world right now.
00:12:18.200 As you know, Jack, the world isn't getting any less dangerous.
00:12:23.020 And we have a lot of threats to deal with.
00:12:25.620 I would argue the biggest threats that we have are right here within, but this commander-in-chief that we have, President Joe Biden, is definitely not up to the task.
00:12:36.280 And it's why it's so important that we get strong leadership back in the White House.
00:12:42.400 Well, Congressman, obviously we have the threats on the inside.
00:12:46.300 We have the infiltration that we're focused on.
00:12:48.240 We have the invasion at our border that we're focused on.
00:12:50.600 But I want to drill down on this, and this is something that Steve was saying before he went off on his extended assignment.
00:12:58.960 And we know that he's away on assignment doing show prep for his triumphant return.
00:13:03.000 But we've just got a minute, so I'd love to be able to hold you over to break.
00:13:05.920 Is that we have a situation that isn't just about the candidacy for the Democrats and will it be Biden?
00:13:14.140 Will it be Kamala?
00:13:15.200 No, no, no, no.
00:13:15.700 We have a situation right now because you've got a national security crisis.
00:13:20.180 Who's taking the briefings?
00:13:21.740 Who's submitting the orders?
00:13:23.460 Are those orders even legal?
00:13:25.280 We've got to go all the way back.
00:13:26.300 We've got from 2022 now, we've got the news, and Wall Street Journal's got the deep dive on this,
00:13:30.940 that he couldn't even hold meetings with Olaf Scholz because they were being held too late at night.
00:13:35.500 So that's 2022 in the outbreak of the Ukraine war.
00:13:38.840 Who has been steering this the whole way?
00:13:40.800 And we hear these people like Victoria Nuland who were involved at the time,
00:13:43.780 Tony Blinken who was involved at the time, Jill Biden apparently creating this impenetrable bubble around the president.
00:13:50.180 Who, in fact, is the commander in chief?
00:13:53.240 Who is at the top of the chain of command?
00:13:55.460 Last minute, Congressman.
00:13:57.740 Well, that's a big question, Jack.
00:13:59.680 I mean, I think I think a lot of it is probably handled by aides and staff.
00:14:03.780 You know, I know there's plenty of other influences out there.
00:14:06.820 You know, I believe, like many of your listeners, that, you know, Barack Obama, you know, has some strong influence within this administration.
00:14:16.980 But I think a lot of it is coming from, you know, his staffers.
00:14:20.560 And that's not who the American people elected.
00:14:23.380 And so it is very problematic.
00:14:25.520 There are massive issues here because we do, by the way, we're we're in a proxy war with Russia right now.
00:14:35.300 We're at a time where Biden himself was invoking.
00:14:38.420 Ben mentioned this a little bit.
00:14:39.460 Biden himself was invoking NATO Article five again, again and again.
00:14:44.080 We've got the summit going on.
00:14:45.820 Ben Harnwell, Congressman Eli Crane.
00:14:47.940 Stay tuned.
00:14:48.680 Quick break here.
00:14:49.380 Warren returns.
00:14:49.920 The elites are getting desperate.
00:15:07.460 They now want to use the technology behind Bitcoin for their own Orwellian purposes, their gold to dominate our economy by forcing everyone to use central bank digital currencies, which they control.
00:15:20.680 Imagine your every purchase being called into question, your every move tracked, like you live in a communist country.
00:15:27.480 This is not the America we want, but it is the America they want to create.
00:15:32.020 Fortunately, you can fight back.
00:15:34.260 I believe owning gold is the best solution.
00:15:36.660 Why?
00:15:36.900 Because it keeps you in control and safeguards your savings.

00:16:19.100 Here's your host, Stephen K.
00:16:21.220 Bannon.
00:16:21.560 All right, Jack Posobiec here, Washington, D.C.
00:16:30.660 By the way, I want to thank Steve Bannon and the entire team over at Skyhorse today.
00:16:36.120 I know you guys have been hearing me jawboning about this book for a long time now, Unhumans, Secret History of Communist Revolutions and How to Crush Them.
00:16:43.780 Today is officially pub day.
00:16:45.760 It is launch day, publication day.
00:16:47.900 The book is out.
00:16:49.400 Amazon's been playing some games with us, but the team over at Skyhorse and Steve himself, who really worked to put this book together with me, with Joshua Lysak, wrote the foreword to it.
00:17:01.660 We spent so much work going through specifically what these people do when they take power.
00:17:08.360 And then more importantly, the final chapter, a lot of people are skipping right to the last chapter on this, how we defeat them.
00:17:14.060 How we understand their system, crack the codes, get into their OODA loops, get into their battle space, their headspace, their operational cycle, and disrupt it and dismantle their operations from within.
00:17:27.740 And the Biden campaign, by the way, has been going after me all weekend for this book because, and it comes down to this, folks, we as conservatives spend so much time focused on our principles, whereas the left spends all their time focused on power.
00:17:41.620 And no, Biden HQ, I'm not going to apologize for saying what I'm about to say next, and I'm going to say it again.
00:17:47.540 The right needs to focus on taking power.
00:17:50.980 Once the right understands that you get the levers of power through voting and legal means and constitutional means, they're always trying to ascribe all these words to me that I didn't say.
00:17:59.400 But understand, once you have the institutional power, then you have the ability to put your principles into action.
00:18:06.520 That is the point. The left has no principles. They only focus on power, whereas the right is addicted to rules.
00:18:13.720 I want to go back, though, to Congressman Crane because it seems, though, that the left is denying all of their rules because they're the ones who've completely disrupted the chain of command.
00:18:23.700 We don't know how far back this thing goes.
00:18:25.920 We don't know who's actually in charge.
00:18:27.640 When we when we can see the disasters on the world stage, we can see the disasters at our southern border.
00:18:32.540 You're from Arizona border state. We see the carnage going down there.
00:18:35.740 It feels to me like the cabinet has been running things all along.
00:18:39.220 And President Trump probably knowingly brought this up at the debate when he said, why haven't you fired anyone?
00:18:44.500 And it's simple. He can't fire anyone because they're the ones who are in charge, not him.
00:18:49.300 What say you? What are your thoughts?
00:18:50.240 No, I agree, Jack. And many of us have been making the argument for the law, the longest time.
00:18:56.400 This is exactly why Joe Biden is the perfect candidate for them.
00:18:59.860 He's the perfect fall guy. They can you know, they can make him their little puppet.
00:19:05.160 They can invoke all their radical, socialistic, totalitarian policies.
00:19:09.420 And then when we the American people start to feel the carnage and the fallout and the pain from those horrible policies that have been destructive historically all over the world, they can blame the doddering old man that doesn't know where he is.
00:19:23.120 And so I think you're right when you say that.
00:19:26.540 That's why they they had no issues running a guy who didn't know where he was, had to campaign out of his basement, because you're right, Jack, for them, it's all about power.
00:19:35.480 They don't care about the optics of having an old man as the figurehead of their party.
00:19:39.700 They just they want somebody that they can blame it on when we start to feel the pain, pain of it.
00:19:45.040 And it's it's actually it's actually sad, but it's very, very smart because when all they care about is power.
00:19:55.840 And that's precisely what I'm talking about. All they care about is power.
00:19:59.820 They will put the doddering old man. They will put the puppet, the marionette up there.
00:20:04.460 And the question is, I think if President Trump should respond, he should say, all right, if you want me to do another debate, I will.
00:20:10.140 But maybe I should debate Jill Biden. Maybe I should debate Hunter Biden, because I want to actually be talking to the people who are making the decisions, not the marionette with the puppet strings.
00:20:18.300 I want to talk to the guy who's actually or gal who's up there. Maybe it's Jersey Jill. I'm not sure.
00:20:22.960 Congressman, let me ask you this shifting gears for a second here. Would you support now?
00:20:26.920 People don't realize this as much, but in the 25th Amendment, there is a there is a role for Congress.
00:20:32.620 Congress would you support and people have talked about this.
00:20:36.520 I know there's some discussion in Congress on the House side and a lot of people are asking, will the House GOP get involved?
00:20:42.000 Have you heard about this? Would that be something that you support resolutions towards the 25th Amendment or any traction on that as it were?
00:20:48.440 Yes, Jack, I would. And I know Chip Roy and others have been working on it.
00:20:54.840 Honestly, I don't know how far along it is, but I absolutely would.
00:20:58.780 I mean, like I said, we have so many threats out there right now.
00:21:01.720 And when you look at, you know, if there was a nuclear war to kick off because we're fighting proxy war with the globe's largest nuclear superpower,
00:21:11.300 and Joe Biden had seven minutes to make a decision on whether or not we were going to, you know, counter launch nuclear weapons.
00:21:20.060 I don't think anybody that's watched this guy for five seconds believes that he could make a coherent decision.
00:21:26.800 And so, yeah, it is something that, you know, many of us are concerned about.
00:21:30.760 It is something that many of us would support as well.
00:21:33.680 But, you know, I do want to say one thing, Jack.
00:21:35.880 I'm glad that you led off the show this morning with some prayer.
00:21:40.120 I think that's one of the biggest things that we can do.
00:21:43.920 And, you know, I believe that so much of what we're seeing right now has spiritual foundations to it.
00:21:49.600 So appreciate that.
00:21:51.060 And the last thing I want to say before I go to my committee hearing is I listened to the cold open,
00:21:56.880 and you had Applebaum on here talking about really dangerous right-wing populism.
00:22:01.700 Let's be really clear.
00:22:03.860 This right-wing populism, Jack, as you know, is not dangerous to the people.
00:22:07.760 It's dangerous to the swamp, the uniparty, and these global totalitarians that want to strip all power from us.
00:22:15.740 It's not dangerous to the people at all.
00:22:17.280 It's actually very good for the people.
00:22:20.540 Amen, Congressman.
00:22:21.540 Thank you for your time today.
00:22:23.040 Thank you, brother.
00:22:25.580 Look, Congressman Crane is exactly right there.
00:22:28.000 Navy SEAL.
00:22:28.940 He's telling you straight up, is right-wing populism dangerous?
00:22:33.360 Of course it's dangerous.
00:22:34.800 But when they say our democracy, you always must replace the phrase just in your mind.
00:22:40.560 This is the way you understand them.
00:22:41.600 This is the way you read The Washington Post or The Atlantic or when you watch MSNBC.
00:22:45.500 And Steve always tells us, watch MSNBC because that's where their brain trust is.
00:22:51.440 The three or four guys that they have, and sometimes gals like Ann Applebaum,
00:22:55.280 they have running things, these crooked thugs up there, that's where they tell you what they're going to do next.
00:23:00.740 And so when they say our democracy, always replace it with our regime.
00:23:05.000 This is a threat to our democracy.
00:23:06.820 This is a threat to the regime.
00:23:08.040 This is dangerous for our democracy.
00:23:10.340 This is dangerous for our regime.
00:23:12.040 So when they tell you that, they're telling you what they're scared of.
00:23:15.020 They're telling you what you're doing that is effective.
00:23:18.020 So don't be scared when they call you dangerous.
00:23:21.180 Understand that what they're doing is telling you that you're being effective.
00:23:24.400 I want to get Ben Harnwell back in here because, Ben, you were keying off on those statements as well,
00:23:29.020 that Ann Applebaum is trying to sound like she's confident, like she's in the driver's seat,
00:23:34.920 but she knows the dirty little secret, and you walked through the numbers just there.
00:23:38.740 What we are witnessing is a global populist movement.
00:23:43.080 We're witnessing a response to the regime.
00:23:45.160 We're witnessing a response to this idea that we can have a global Atlantisist government of the collective West
00:23:50.040 that's going to be all things to all people.
00:23:52.020 And that's what the NATO conference right down the street here is all about.
00:23:54.480 They think that they can control the world through military power,
00:23:58.440 and that's what they've been trying to do for 75 years.
00:24:01.920 Jake, you're absolutely right.
00:24:03.200 When I was sitting in the seat you are now yesterday,
00:24:07.260 I was talking to Raheem Ben-Burkram live from Paris,
00:24:11.360 and we went over the figures from the French election results,
00:24:15.840 and both Marine Le Pen in the first round, her party,
00:24:20.400 and Keir Starmer, the new British Prime Minister, they both came out with 33%.
00:24:24.920 Her vote, Marine's vote in the second round, which was on this past Sunday, went up to 37%.
00:24:32.580 You're not going to hear Anne Applebaum, who's the queen of the neocons,
00:24:37.160 waxing lyrical about her resonance with the French people.
00:24:43.380 She got a far larger proportion of the vote than what Keir Starmer did in the UK.
00:24:49.520 The reason why she's waxing lyrical about Keir Starmer,
00:24:53.000 and she's saying what a great job they did to win the election and to learn from them,
00:24:59.220 she's co-opting Keir Starmer's,
00:25:03.880 obviously the British first-past-the-post system did a lot of benefits,
00:25:10.200 advantages to the British Labour Party,
00:25:12.120 but she's co-opting his victory in accordance to her own neocon agenda, right?
00:25:17.880 Well, the last thing, you're absolutely right,
00:25:20.080 the last thing these people want is people waking up to see the grift,
00:25:26.480 the institutional grift that is the neocon ideology,
00:25:30.120 to see that for what it is,
00:25:31.960 and to take their own agency in their hands and demand a change.
00:25:37.860 That's the last thing these people want,
00:25:39.820 which is why they're out now in force,
00:25:42.000 pushing out sort of the propaganda.
00:25:44.600 But of course, you know, with each passing month,
00:25:49.560 less and less people are paying attention.
00:25:52.800 You know, I don't know who reads The Atlantic anymore.
00:25:55.580 I do every day, because, you know,
00:25:57.900 for the same reasons that you're paying attention to MSNBC,
00:26:00.900 because we see what the other side are doing.
00:26:03.200 But their resonance with people is diminishing.
00:26:05.720 If you compare, for example, the pole of The Atlantic
00:26:11.260 and all of the neocons put together,
00:26:13.580 it's probably a tenth of what MAGO is.
00:26:16.100 This is where the agenda is right now.
00:26:18.180 And these people are desperate,
00:26:20.260 which is why you hear this absolutely absurd sort of narrative
00:26:23.920 coming from these people,
00:26:26.380 sort of suggesting that,
00:26:28.100 giving her identification of the key points
00:26:31.480 as how the Labour Party won the British election.
00:26:34.960 Anyone who knows the slightest details about this
00:26:38.900 knows that the Labour Party did not win that election.
00:26:41.500 The Tory Party lost it.
00:26:42.880 And they lost it because they betrayed their base.
00:26:49.640 Folks, understand what time it is.
00:26:54.500 118 days.
00:26:56.000 Got it written right here,
00:26:57.020 and I'm going to write it every single day.
00:26:59.700 118 days, 117 days, all the way down.
00:27:03.280 What are you doing to win?
00:27:06.060 And this is the key point that I want to get back to
00:27:08.140 when we talk about these elections as well.
00:27:09.500 We've got a break coming up here in a minute.
00:27:12.060 Folks, do you think that the right has this in the bag for Donald Trump?
00:27:18.080 Do you think that just because Biden collapsed,
00:27:20.720 that all of a sudden,
00:27:21.900 oh, all of our prayers are answered,
00:27:23.420 and he's just going to walk off the stage,
00:27:25.200 and the RNC is going to happen,
00:27:26.700 and Donald Trump's going to declare his VP?
00:27:28.360 It doesn't matter who the VP is.
00:27:29.860 What matters is what this oligarchy and regime will do
00:27:33.740 in the final stages of the election.
00:27:36.340 You've seen them make deals with the devil in France.
00:27:38.580 You've seen them go and vote to put Labour in.
00:27:41.220 The uniparty establishment of the globalists
00:27:43.720 will make sure that whatever they need
00:27:47.020 will be done come election time.
00:27:49.400 The ballots will be tried to be found.
00:27:52.280 Look, I'm from the Philadelphia area.
00:27:53.680 We know about finding ballots down there.
00:27:56.160 You must become steely-eyed and laser-focused
00:28:01.880 on action, action, action.
00:28:04.780 Are you getting involved in swing states?
00:28:06.600 Are you volunteering?
00:28:07.720 Who have you reached out to?
00:28:08.780 What are you doing with those 118 days?

00:29:26.580 Jack Vance.
00:29:34.260 Back here in the warm breaking news.
00:29:36.400 Alec Baldwin has finally arrived in court
00:29:39.540 for the start of the rust manslaughter trial.
00:29:43.740 Alec Baldwin on trial there,
00:29:45.640 stayed in New Mexico for the shooting death
00:29:48.440 of his director of photography,
00:29:51.140 his cinematographer there,
00:29:52.580 Ukrainian woman, by the way.
00:29:53.920 the gun that he claims
00:29:56.960 pulled the trigger all by itself,
00:29:59.760 even though all ballistics checks
00:30:01.780 and anyone who's, you know,
00:30:03.000 actually operated a firearm in the real world
00:30:05.100 knows that that doesn't work.
00:30:07.380 No, Alec Baldwin, a gun didn't kill her.
00:30:10.080 You did.
00:30:10.860 So we're going to be monitoring that clearly.
00:30:13.340 By the way, I've said for a long time,
00:30:14.820 Trump should return to X
00:30:16.220 to live tweet the trial of Alec Baldwin.
00:30:19.240 Just saying.
00:30:19.880 Just saying.
00:30:20.360 I think that would be perfect.
00:30:21.320 We've got Congressman Andy Biggs here
00:30:23.720 joining us from the Oversight Committee.
00:30:25.440 Congressman Biggs, how are you this morning?
00:30:27.280 Great, Jack.
00:30:27.860 Good to see you.
00:30:28.600 Good to be with you.
00:30:31.320 That's right.
00:30:31.960 And so we're doing our best to keep the ship here afloat
00:30:35.060 while our commander is away on assignment.
00:30:38.120 Yeah, absolutely.
00:30:39.060 We miss Steve.
00:30:40.300 I send love to him.
00:30:41.220 And we've got to do we've got to do more to write this ship.
00:30:45.340 This is this is absolutely horrific.
00:30:48.440 And one of the ways you do it, there's two ways to come to mind.
00:30:51.740 You deliver the same kind of pain to the other side.
00:30:55.000 And that's what I wish my colleagues would do.
00:30:56.860 That's what I'm, you know, thank goodness for Ana Paulina Luna.
00:30:59.560 But we can't even get a majority vote to actually hold Merrick Garland
00:31:07.440 and bring him in with Sergeant at Arms, holds him in custody
00:31:10.620 until he gives us the audio of that special counsel interview with Joe Biden.
00:31:15.640 We'll probably end up with a with a $10,000 day, a $3 million a month fine.
00:31:22.680 But they're going to immediately throw, you know, a spoke into the wheel on that.
00:31:28.040 And that's that's the problem.
00:31:29.080 We need to even it up, because when you do that,
00:31:31.740 this type of thing where they go after people like Steve Bannon, Peter Navarro and others,
00:31:35.580 it dries up because they experience the same pain
00:31:39.020 and they don't want to experience that pain.
00:31:42.240 Well, let's let's drill down on that a little bit.
00:31:44.060 So my understanding and I saw a piece yesterday where Congresswoman Luna said
00:31:48.660 that she would be introducing the inherent contempt resolution tomorrow.
00:31:53.320 Is that your understanding?
00:31:54.660 And if so, do you believe that you've got the votes on this thing?
00:31:57.920 And if not, what's being done process wise to to achieve it?
00:32:02.660 So my understanding is we are voting tomorrow.
00:32:06.080 It's going to be a privileged resolution.
00:32:07.840 And we're going to vote on it at the at the voting session tomorrow.
00:32:11.920 So what we Anna told me that she believes that they have the votes if you go to a $10,000 day of fine.
00:32:21.500 But we didn't have the votes on the the incarceration with the holding the Merrick Garland
00:32:28.320 by the sergeant of arms till he produced and cured the contempt.
00:32:32.480 So Anna, you know, she's doing it and she's pushing it.
00:32:37.040 And those of us around her pushing it, trying to make sure everybody comes on.
00:32:40.700 The question at that point is, once the authority is there,
00:32:45.100 will the speaker go ahead and begin imposing that upon Merrick Garland?
00:32:49.760 And that's the next step.
00:32:52.980 Look, Congressman, this is what and before Steve went away,
00:32:56.460 that's exactly what he was talking about.
00:32:58.180 It's not it's not retribution.
00:33:00.500 It's not the politics of grievance.
00:33:02.120 It's called due justice, that you have to respond in the way that you are treated
00:33:07.600 or else you will just get more of the same.
00:33:10.760 That's the way you return to zero.
00:33:12.780 That's the way you achieve reciprocity.
00:33:14.660 That's a little something that we used to call deterrence.
00:33:16.740 I talk about that in the new book all the time, that if you don't practice the politics of deterrence,
00:33:22.000 then you will get a completely lopsided outcome like what we've seen right now,
00:33:26.100 where we've got the president of the United States, our candidate, by the way,
00:33:28.900 who has been convicted, potentially, of course,
00:33:31.980 we're potentially be thrown out because of this immunity order.
00:33:34.640 And they've got a few excellent fruit of the poison tree argument on that.
00:33:38.200 But again, Stephen K. Bannon behind bars, Peter Navarro behind bars, political prisoners.
00:33:43.300 They're looking to find as many other members of MAGA or the Trump White House
00:33:47.440 that they can possibly do to put behind bars.
00:33:49.320 And meanwhile, we sit back and we can't even get the votes to respond on something like this.
00:33:54.000 That's the only way that you can achieve deterrence.
00:33:57.180 It's not sitting down there and saying, oh, let's listen to our influencer of the week
00:34:01.540 who comes in to the weaponization committee and is, you know, giving a good talk
00:34:05.780 and we're all feeling good about each other.
00:34:07.380 Yeah, that's great.
00:34:08.060 We're feeling good about each other when our friends are being hauled off to the gulags.
00:34:12.820 And we're thinking that, oh, well, because we kept our nose clean, that's not going to work.
00:34:15.920 Yeah, go read Solzhenitsyn or go read this book right here on humans
00:34:19.500 and understand that they will always come for you eventually.
00:34:23.700 Congressman, what is it in Congress there
00:34:26.260 about some of the Republican caucus that they don't seem to be able to see this?
00:34:32.620 You know, I wish I could explain that.
00:34:34.740 I can't explain it.
00:34:35.800 I mean, I'm with you.
00:34:36.660 I say the pendulum has gone so far to the left and authoritarianism
00:34:42.800 that you have to give them a dose of that back in order to get to equilibrium again,
00:34:48.000 which is the rule of law applied by blind lady justice.
00:34:51.600 That's equilibrium in this country.
00:34:53.240 But we're not there and we're not going to get there if we all go stand over underneath the shadow
00:34:58.260 of the sword of the left wing.
00:35:01.940 And that's what's going on.
00:35:03.020 And a lot of my colleagues, I don't understand it, but they will talk tough,
00:35:08.080 America first, but they don't want to act.
00:35:11.080 Maybe that's the way they have to act in their respective districts, I guess.
00:35:18.540 But for me, the bottom line is you tell people what you're going to do, you do it.
00:35:23.060 And we need to actually turn this country around.
00:35:27.080 And you don't turn it around, quite frankly, always turning the other cheek.
00:35:32.720 Here's the bottom line.
00:35:34.520 George Mason said this, and he was right on this.
00:35:37.560 He said, as nations do not get judged as a nation when you get to the other side in the next life,
00:35:47.340 they get judged here.
00:35:48.960 And in other words, you have to take care of business here, rule of law,
00:35:53.400 make sure that your country is just and a good country.
00:35:56.580 And right now we're not because the left is authoritarian and punishing people
00:36:01.620 simply because they have political opinions dissenting.
00:36:06.980 I always get into theological debates about turn the other cheek
00:36:09.940 because some people read turn the other cheek and they hear that as layover and surrender
00:36:13.520 and put your head in the sand.
00:36:14.800 Whereas when you look at the actual line in context,
00:36:17.400 turn the other cheek means stand your ground.
00:36:19.280 It means that they hit you on one side, you give them the other side,
00:36:21.460 but you don't back down.
00:36:22.640 You stand your ground and you don't give up.
00:36:26.120 And so, Carson, I want to ask you another line of action.
00:36:28.860 Seeing as you're up.
00:36:29.940 Please, please go ahead.
00:36:31.800 Yeah, I was just saying, you know, Jesus cleansed the temple, man.
00:36:36.360 He just didn't stand there and let him run over it.
00:36:39.360 He went in and cleansed the temple.
00:36:40.740 And that's what we have to do.
00:36:42.320 Cleanse the temple.
00:36:44.960 Cleanse the temple, throw out the money changers, tables over.
00:36:48.100 That's what I'm looking at.
00:36:49.560 So the temple is for the temple.
00:36:52.120 The temple is for worship.
00:36:52.660 So when it comes down to this, let's talk about one temple in the city right now,
00:36:58.900 in Washington, D.C., that we have no idea what's going on inside,
00:37:02.460 and that's the White House.
00:37:03.760 Is there an appetite on the Oversight Committee for investigations
00:37:07.380 into who exactly is running the chain of command in our national security apparatus?
00:37:12.900 Because I keep reading these stories from the Washington Post
00:37:15.880 and the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times
00:37:18.280 that tell me that it's Hunter Biden and Jill Biden that are running things,
00:37:21.860 or Kamala Harris has, you know, getting her two cents in here and there.
00:37:24.740 Who's actually giving the orders, Congressman?
00:37:27.200 And if so, if it is the family members or these top aides,
00:37:30.260 are those even legal orders?
00:37:31.980 If the commander-in-chief wasn't the one who actually ordered the withdrawal of Afghanistan,
00:37:36.020 the withdrawal of Kabul,
00:37:37.360 we're being told that he couldn't even hold meetings with Olaf Scholz back in 2022
00:37:41.200 because he was too jet-lagged to hold an evening meeting.
00:37:44.880 Congressman, this is not just a political situation
00:37:47.700 like they want to have a conversation about.
00:37:49.160 This is a national security crisis.
00:37:52.300 Exactly right.
00:37:53.480 We don't know who's running it.
00:37:55.040 I've been saying for three years this is an oligarchy
00:37:57.420 because Joe Biden is incapable and has been incapable of actually running the country.
00:38:02.360 It's being run ostensibly from my sources tell me that the cabinet members
00:38:07.760 basically have set up their own fiefdoms
00:38:10.060 and they have to come to some kind of grips on how they're going to do it.
00:38:14.440 But I think that's why you don't see any coherent policy come out of this administration.
00:38:18.740 It's all left-wing.
00:38:20.160 It's all by senior-level bureaucrats.
00:38:23.080 And then the scariest thing of all was,
00:38:24.740 and I saw Dr. Jill,
00:38:26.180 which reminded me of the Woodrow Wilson, Edith Wilson situation.
00:38:30.860 It reminded me of, you know,
00:38:34.400 and you get Hunter Biden and it reminded me that you have a situation
00:38:37.840 where the two people that are most influential in Joe Biden's life right now
00:38:42.200 are Jill Biden and Hunter Biden who both have their own motivations.
00:38:46.700 So your question ultimately is,
00:38:48.480 does the Oversight Committee have that appetite to investigate this?
00:38:53.080 Absolutely we do.
00:38:54.300 I mean, Chairman Comer is all over and wants to do that as well.
00:38:57.500 And every member that on our side of the aisle wants to investigate,
00:39:02.000 how are they making decisions?
00:39:03.200 How is their process?
00:39:05.240 We're getting stoned on that as we always do from the executive branch,
00:39:10.160 which is why we should be subpoenaing and holding in contempt
00:39:14.260 until they give us the information.
00:39:15.820 But the bottom line is this.
00:39:17.380 Our best way of controlling that wayward executive branch
00:39:21.720 is always going to be the funding apparatus.
00:39:23.820 That's what the founders gave us, that's in the constitution.
00:39:27.220 And that's another area where I wish my colleagues would join in
00:39:30.380 and join me in starting to defund wherever we can,
00:39:35.520 this administration,
00:39:37.440 because they've got to get to the information
00:39:40.200 and they have to have policy that actually protects Americans
00:39:43.380 and gets us back to that equilibrium point you and I were talking about
00:39:46.900 until you actually make them feel pain.
00:39:49.900 And for them, it's money and power.
00:39:51.840 You have to take away some money and some power.
00:39:54.060 Until you do that, you don't ever get back to equilibrium.
00:39:58.820 Look, Congressman, what you're saying makes total sense to me,
00:40:01.840 not only from a political perspective, but from a strategic perspective.
00:40:05.900 Look, we used to do this during the Cold War all the time.
00:40:08.440 We put some nukes over in Turkey.
00:40:09.820 They started doing this in Cuba.
00:40:12.520 We saw this recently where Biden comes out
00:40:15.400 and glibly tells a reporter in Normandy and says,
00:40:19.340 oh, we've authorized U.S. missiles, these Atacum's missiles,
00:40:22.500 to be striking within mainland Russia.
00:40:24.360 And then all of a sudden, a couple of Russian nuclear subs
00:40:27.120 pop up off the coast of Miami.
00:40:29.200 They're using reciprocity.
00:40:31.520 They're using this atomic diplomacy.
00:40:34.340 This is how you achieve mutually assured deterrence,
00:40:36.720 because you, mutually assured destruction,
00:40:39.360 because you understand that when all diplomacy has failed,
00:40:42.820 you have to go to hard power.
00:40:44.800 And the hard power of the House has always been the power of the purse.
00:40:49.240 Subpoenas are good.
00:40:50.200 Subpoenas are important because I would like to see Mayorkas up there.
00:40:53.400 I would like to see Lloyd Austin up there.
00:40:55.200 Answer the question, who gave the order?
00:40:57.160 Oh, we got it from the White House.
00:40:58.300 Okay, did you talk to Joe Biden?
00:41:00.180 Did you actually receive it from Joe Biden or was it an aide?
00:41:02.740 Was it a letter?
00:41:03.480 Was it something that came out for him?
00:41:04.660 Because we have no idea what these people are now willing to do to cover up.
00:41:09.120 They said they won't even let the resident staff of the White House
00:41:12.000 have conversations with Joe Biden.
00:41:14.320 That's how much they've done to hide this up.
00:41:16.860 Well, guess what?
00:41:17.620 He's the one that's vested by the Constitution
00:41:19.680 with the powers of the executive,
00:41:21.920 not the people around him.
00:41:23.460 He has not delegated those powers to his family members.
00:41:26.740 They should not have sign-off authority on any of these things.
00:41:29.840 And it's no wonder.
00:41:31.240 It seems like our foreign policy and our economic policy
00:41:34.520 are being controlled by, as you say, Dr. Jill Biden,
00:41:37.880 who's somebody that nobody voted for.
00:41:40.200 Congressman, last minute to you.
00:41:42.040 Yeah, here's the deal.
00:41:43.360 I want to know how often he's sitting in the cabinet room
00:41:47.020 with his cabinet officers getting reports
00:41:49.840 and issuing directives and orders.
00:41:52.280 That's what a president does.
00:41:53.900 They study with the staff.
00:41:55.340 They find out what's going on.
00:41:57.220 And their cabinet members, he can trust them,
00:42:00.720 but he has got to hear what decisions they're making
00:42:03.000 and get the rationale.
00:42:04.760 And then he gives the okie-dokie on that or not.
00:42:08.360 Ben, we don't know what's happening there.
00:42:10.720 But the rumor mill is crazy in Washington, D.C.,
00:42:14.200 as you know, Jack.
00:42:15.020 But what I'm hearing is that they're not even really
00:42:17.900 having regular cabinet meetings that are attended
00:42:20.100 by the president or even his vice president.
00:42:23.540 So that tells you the vacuum that we have there.
00:42:26.700 And that's a national security issue
00:42:29.240 as much as everything else.
00:42:32.240 Congressman, I've heard that as well,
00:42:33.540 that not only are they not having cabinet meetings,
00:42:35.680 but he barely has meetings with Lloyd Austin,
00:42:37.780 the secretary of defense, as well.
00:42:39.260 That Austin's over there running his own thing
00:42:40.840 at the Pentagon, that Blinken is the one running things
00:42:43.460 over at State, that they are not actually having
00:42:46.480 regular discussions because they realize
00:42:48.400 there's no reason for it.
00:42:50.260 Congressman, thanks so much for your time today.
00:42:52.220 Thanks, Jack.
00:42:53.540 I appreciate it.
00:42:55.160 Folks, who is running our government?
00:42:57.140 This is a national security crisis.
00:42:59.140 You got NATO that's coming in over there.
00:43:01.100 Zelensky potentially, and we'll go back to Harmel here
00:43:02.940 in a minute, Zelensky potentially being told
00:43:05.140 that he won't even be able to join NATO
00:43:07.480 because of the corruption in Ukraine
00:43:10.140 with escalation against the world's most powerful
00:43:13.000 nuclear force on the table in 118 days left to victory.
00:43:18.460 Quick break.
00:43:18.940 We rejoice when there's no more.

00:44:46.380 Folks, Birch Gold, this is your safe hedge against a turbulent world.
00:45:00.000 Understand that for thousands of years, gold has been used as the hedge against inflation.
00:45:06.560 Gold has been used as a store of value.
00:45:09.140 Since before empires, before republics, before the Constitution, gold was always used.
00:45:15.580 And there is a reason why.
00:45:17.480 It's called a finite supply of gold in the world.
00:45:20.740 Very small.
00:45:21.420 People don't even realize how much little gold there is.
00:45:23.500 To understand, if you want to learn more about this, go to Birchgold.com slash War Room
00:45:29.920 and get your free copy of The End of the Dollar Empire.
00:45:33.700 Look, you think they're over there at BRICS right now talking about the petrodollar?
00:45:37.480 Do you think they're over there talking at the NATO summit about NATO and about BRICS
00:45:40.940 and about the rise of new currencies and the basket of currencies that BRICS is putting together?
00:45:46.020 Of course they are.
00:45:46.860 And why is that?
00:45:48.180 Because the end of the dollar empire is upon us.
00:45:51.480 Go to Birchgold.com slash War Room to get your copy of the book so that you and your family
00:45:57.300 can be prepared for what comes next.
00:46:00.540 Ben Harnwell, who's just flown back overnight over to Rome, is with us.
00:46:04.820 Ben, Zelensky's going to be told that NATO can't join or that Ukraine can't join NATO.
00:46:12.360 And yet at the same time, Biden brought up NATO five times in Article 5 at the debate.
00:46:18.880 Why did Biden keep bringing up Article 5 at the debate?
00:46:21.940 Here's my theory.
00:46:22.940 My theory is that he understands that just as Kamala Harris said, by the way, Russia is
00:46:28.440 a big country.
00:46:29.060 Ukraine is a small country.
00:46:30.120 Ukraine does not have an issue of materiel, which is, of course, what all the defense
00:46:36.240 industrial complex wants.
00:46:37.660 No, they have an issue of manpower and they need more manpower from somewhere.
00:46:42.900 And oh, look, Zelensky's going to the NATO summit.
00:46:46.320 And of course, France and Macron were saying prior to the election, he started saying, oh,
00:46:50.280 we'll put Ukraine in and we'll put our troops into Ukraine.
00:46:53.180 We'll go in there.
00:46:53.920 And then right before the election, just kidding, just kidding.
00:46:56.220 I'm not going to do that.
00:46:57.180 But my contention is that Zelensky and NATO are going to push for a NATO force in Ukraine.
00:47:05.300 That's what the response will be after they say that Ukraine can't join because of corruption
00:47:10.080 issues.
00:47:10.460 What do you say?
00:47:12.100 Well, look, I'm intrigued by your argument.
00:47:14.900 And it makes a lot of sense that it makes a lot of sense that Joe Biden is going to try
00:47:19.940 to escalate now in his remaining months.
00:47:22.240 Or I should say, Dr. Jill Biden is going to escalate now in the remaining months of her
00:47:29.480 regency presidency.
00:47:31.780 Why?
00:47:32.460 Because that gives an opportunity to wheel the cadaver in chief out onto the stage and give
00:47:37.120 him a few platitudes about global leadership and democracy.
00:47:41.040 And then everyone in the Democrat plantation can applaud and say, yes, yes, go, Joe.
00:47:47.000 This is exactly the fight.
00:47:48.260 Fight the moral cause and get our vote on November 5th.
00:47:51.800 That argument is so cogent.
00:47:54.140 In fact, right, it lies behind what I was trying to suggest a couple of months ago.
00:48:02.500 It was to the reason why Congress authorized the $61 billion that Zelensky is repeated begging.
00:48:13.480 Right.
00:48:13.680 Why did they do this?
00:48:14.760 Why did Congress give $61 billion to Zelensky?
00:48:19.440 And it was to keep the show, to keep the Biden show on the road.
00:48:22.580 This is the uni party coming in here to keep the show on the road, to stop Ukraine from
00:48:28.960 collapsing before November.
00:48:30.780 And that was the only that was the only logical reason I could come up with.
00:48:35.460 And of course, your argument here, I think, is very much consonant with that.
00:48:41.520 With regards to the to the to the well, and Ben and Ben, just real quick on on that real
00:48:46.660 quick on that.
00:48:47.700 It's it's not just that Zelensky needs it, but Biden needs it, too, because he's going to
00:48:54.760 be looking at it or Dr.
00:48:55.940 Jill is going to be looking at it as a way to underpin his, quote unquote, fitness for
00:49:00.760 office.
00:49:01.380 They'll show that he is strong and resolute and he's willing to take the fight directly
00:49:06.040 to Russia.
00:49:06.880 That's what they've been using all along.
00:49:08.500 And now they've got more of an impetus to do this.
00:49:12.760 Of course, it's all they've got, Jack.
00:49:15.020 They don't have any of the merits after three and a half years to come up and suggest to
00:49:20.860 the American people why Jill Biden deserves a second term.
00:49:24.800 They've got nothing apart from this.
00:49:26.640 If you buy into the narrative that this is fundamentally a war to defend democracy, our
00:49:34.600 values, Western values in Ukraine.
00:49:36.920 If you buy into that, then that's all the Democrats, that's all Biden has to ask for his re-election
00:49:43.180 because he has nothing else on any other metric.
00:49:45.360 I want to come back to this story about Ukraine being denied entrance because of corruption.
00:49:55.720 If I'd have got my act together, Jack, I'd have asked Denver to play the YouTube clip,
00:49:59.740 which I seem to send it through to them every couple of weeks anyway, from Casablanca when
00:50:05.360 Captain Reno, Louis Reno, walks into Jack's casino and closes it down because he's shocked
00:50:13.200 at this gambling going on there, played Captain Reno.
00:50:16.100 You're winning, sir.
00:50:17.740 You're winning, sir.
00:50:18.720 Thank you very much.
00:50:20.220 Played by the legendary Claude Rains.
00:50:24.540 Look, this is no surprise that there is corruption going on in Ukraine.
00:50:29.620 This was known long before this war.
00:50:33.600 And it's not just something they've just discovered that that would be an obstacle to Ukraine joining.
00:50:38.620 And of course, here's the thing, Jack, it's not a corruption in Ukraine with regards to
00:50:43.440 military expenditure is not a prohibition to joining NATO, by the way.
00:50:48.540 Let's just put that on the shelf.
00:50:49.860 This is an argument that they've come out with.
00:50:53.020 Why?
00:50:53.900 Because Joe Biden said in a more senile moment than normal in the Time magazine interview,
00:51:02.400 and we were really, look, we weren't the only people to point this out.
00:51:06.460 The very few people did point that, but we were the only person to say this was a gaffe.
00:51:11.420 Biden didn't mean to say this, but he said he'd ruled out the NATOization of Ukraine.
