Director of the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) James R. Cheadle testifies before the Joint Select Committee investigating the shooting of President Donald Trump at the Mar-A-Lago on Nov. 22.
00:04:48.020First of all, before I get to the bullet points, you've got to tell the world, this man, his office was right next to mine when he was in Congress.
00:04:55.600And we had very loud discussions about what was going on here.
00:05:10.040But let me just tell you, when we start talking about what the Secret Service knew and didn't know and how they were supposed to protect and they didn't protect and they acknowledge.
00:05:20.120And you've got Director Cheadle basically saying, yes, it was a horrific, catastrophic, cataclysmic failure, but doggone it, I'm going to stay in my job.
00:05:28.760I find myself saying, well, she's been in for 29 years.
00:05:31.720I think there's a pretty good-sized bump up in the retirement salary when you move to 30 years.
00:05:36.960So maybe that's part of the deal, right?
00:05:38.940I mean, so just leave that as part of your context.
00:05:48.760What they call the blast radius, which is how you determine your perimeter, was, in my opinion, abnormally small.
00:05:58.440The second thing is you actually have videos of a person who she described as merely suspicious, who's got something in his hands, climbing up the side of the building, army crawling on the building, people yelling and screaming to law enforcement.
00:06:18.480And she says, well, gee, that's just suspicious.
00:06:20.400And so we were going to go ask him a few questions.
00:06:25.540The third thing is when we start looking at this, you and I have been to many of these high-profile events with people like President Trump and other high-profile leaders.
00:06:37.600If there is a suspicious individual, it is normal, it is routine to say, we're going to hold you here.
00:08:13.320I don't know if that's one of these what I call faith-promoting rumors or not yet.
00:08:17.360So I don't really know where you go to find out more about it.
00:08:22.000If it's real, it's going to develop over the next couple of days.
00:08:24.880But I will just tell the war and posse, you've got to stay on top of this because – and really sift through the information because there's some stuff that just is patently untrue.
00:08:36.740And then there's some other stuff that is highly plausible, but we haven't seen enough evidence to corroborate it yet.
00:08:43.900And then we're all getting stoned on the evidence from the Secret Service.
00:08:48.480So it's – everybody needs to be on their toes.
00:08:51.680We're going to be on our toes and keep trying to lay it out there in my social media.
00:08:55.220And I know you will, and I know the war room will as well.
00:09:24.480But Congress, the Republicans, if there are never any consequences for awful behavior, in this case, catastrophically bad behavior, right?
00:09:36.500When it comes to $2 trillion deficits, Ukraine, corruption, et cetera, laptops, FBI, CIA, three-letter agencies, the Congress has not held anyone responsible yet for anything.
00:09:51.340And so part of this, you know, do you expect more or less bad behavior when the price is zero, right?
00:09:59.900At a low price, they're like, hey, why should we stop doing this?
00:10:03.580And does our leadership have an action plan for real this time to lay down some consequences so we don't get more of this horrific behavior?
00:10:13.520Well, I did talk to the speaker today and I told him that, look, I'm OK with him setting up his commission, his little commission, which should look like, should look a lot like the J6 committee, right?
00:10:28.940I said, but if you really want to get something done and get to the bottom of it, you're going to get – you're going to hire some investigators to come in, real people who know Secret Service, who know protections, details, stuff, and they can get to the bottom of this and reveal this to us.
00:10:46.360And you support them with subpoena authority and then we hold people accountable.
00:10:51.700But look, Dave, the first thing you can do, the closest we've come to holding anybody accountable is when my Holman rule went through on Mayorkas to remove his salary and then to impeach Mayorkas.
00:11:10.420Congress has one purse string, one leverage point, and you know this as well as I do.
00:11:16.640And it's really a twofer because if you start defunding some of these agencies, these wrongdoers, these people abusing the system, these bureaucrats, guess what?
00:11:27.760If you start defunding them, you do two things.
00:11:31.520You actually provide a disincentive to all the other bureaucrats that are doing crappy stuff, right?
00:12:41.700I don't care if you're Democrat or Independent or Republican or whatever you are, to forget how this man was put in prison, right, over just the most corrupt committee set up ever.
00:12:52.980He wouldn't bend the knee to a falsehood.
00:12:56.220And then it goes into the court system.
00:12:58.540And so, you know, at the end of his term, you know, Joe Biden, you know, I don't know what his health condition is, his spiritual condition.
00:13:05.520But I just hope whenever anyone up there mentions goodwill to you or to the Republicans, please use Stephen K. Bannon as a memory.
00:13:16.820If you believe in goodwill and civility and working together, good.
00:13:20.860Let Stephen K. Bannon out of jail as a political prisoner, and then we'll talk.
00:13:25.440And so I just please keep spreading that around because the war room, you know, without Steve here in his chair, it's just the country's not the same.
00:13:38.640And Peter Navarro got the same treatment, you know.
00:13:42.540So tomorrow, for people in the posse, I'm the chairman of that subcommittee on crime.
00:13:50.120We have the Bureau of Prisons director, Colette Peters, coming in tomorrow.
00:13:55.960And I've already told her I'll be I am requesting formally an opportunity to go visit Steve in in the federal institution that he is in right now.
00:14:09.480I know he doesn't want visitors, but the reality is I want to go.
00:14:13.400I want to see how he's being treated and I want to see what's going on there.
00:29:35.320They both sought in one high elected office.
00:29:37.560They both come from backgrounds that are underrepresented in the halls of power.
00:29:42.420And now they're both engaged in the core work of politics, translating their stories into power.
00:29:49.060We've got to ask why one of these two remarkable Americans stands accused of getting where she is based on DEI.
00:29:55.900You say the answer, you fear, is written on their faces.
00:29:59.440I'm afraid it is written on their faces.
00:30:03.740And I think it's really important for us to think about the way in which race plays a role in our politics.
00:30:09.600And it's very clear that there will be an attempt to try and paint Kamala Harris as being some sort of, you know, like super lefty, black progressive.
00:30:22.960And the great irony of that is that's not who she is.
00:30:26.300They're going to try to do it, but it's not going to work.
00:30:28.560And when that doesn't work, I think the Reverend is absolutely right.
00:30:32.460Their next resort will be to out-and-out racism.
00:30:36.700And when I think about how that's going to play, I think a lot about my grandmother, who was a conservative Republican, white Republican from Wisconsin,
00:30:46.340for whom over-displays of racism were just too nasty and disgusting to countenance.
00:30:54.740But that's part of why she could never vote for Donald Trump the first time she didn't vote for a Republican in a presidential election in her lifetime as an adult.
00:31:03.700And I think that that's a big part of what is going to be a problem for Donald Trump in running against Kamala Harris.
00:31:10.060He's going to have to treat the race issue like a very delicate stick of dynamite.
00:31:15.420And I don't think he's capable of that.
00:31:17.680I think out-and-out racism just doesn't fly.
00:31:19.780And the gender stuff has changed, too.
00:31:22.240I mean, we're talking about an election that's happening in a post-Dobbs environment and really sort of fully post-MeToo as well.
00:31:29.180And I think it's just going to become a lot harder for him to caricature and paint Harris in the ways that he was able to caricature and paint Hillary Clinton.
00:31:39.420I have been privileged and proud to serve as vice president of the United States with Joe Biden as president of the United States.
00:31:47.200We have a fighter, a leader with skill, vision, determination and compassion.
00:31:57.880The Biden administration did task a vice president, Kamala Harris, with the issue of migrant crossings, naming her the so-called border czar.
00:32:05.020Now, migrant encounters in the southern border have skyrocketed since Biden took office.
00:32:42.480Dave Bratt in the war room with Stephen K. Bannon, joined by Alex DeGrosse with Team Elise Stefanik, the executive director for Team Stefanik.
00:34:34.060I just was in Indiana, was in Michigan.
00:34:36.380And the amount of voters that are praying and sort of have taken the call to action are involved, are working as poll watchers, which is actually the most important thing that many of us can be doing to be involved and to secure your vote.
00:34:50.280But it's certainly just great to be part of the movement, great to be here.
00:34:53.340So the Kamala, it's very interesting because I think strategically, Dave, I think we just have to be very sober about the reality, which is, A, I think she is overall a weaker candidate.
00:35:19.800And so that is an interesting dynamic.
00:35:22.140So it's important for the party, whether you're a committee member, a town committee member involved, a donor, anyone to be out there talking and pushing what we're going to talk about on Kamala Harris.
00:35:57.700And it's on us as Republicans at all levels of the party to get out there and push that message.
00:36:02.980I think if you want to talk about some of the polling, we've seen in some polls she might be outperforming President Biden by one or two percentage points in a lot of polls, underperforming him by one or two points.
00:36:14.080This is a sort of a stagnant race with President Trump leading outside the margins in both the national polling average as well as more so in the battleground states.
00:36:23.200Now, I think two interesting developments in the last few hours, Dave, if I can.
00:36:27.980One, it looks like I just got an email alert from fellow leadership.
00:36:32.440And they're talking about it's moving very fast on the Hill.
00:36:36.720Is there going to be another candidate?
00:36:38.040Is there going to be someone at the convention?
00:36:39.700Of course, based off the DNC rules, there easily could be.
00:36:43.420But you're seeing swing state Democrats, these sort of frontline Democrats, that's what they call them, in these sort of targeted seats that we're targeting.
00:36:50.560They're falling in line pretty quickly.
00:36:53.260Almost all of them have endorsed Kamala in some capacity, whether it be candidates or the seats that we're targeting.
00:37:00.060And so I think this is sort of wrapping up quickly, more than we probably would have expected,
00:37:03.920because I would have thought the Democrats would have considered another option, maybe a more conservative option or another direction to sort of rid them from the Biden administration's stake.
00:37:14.260Kamala is, as the vice president, the lowest approval rating and job performance of any vice president in the history of polling in modern day.
00:41:12.820So we're going to be playing that around the country and really hammering her despite what MSNBC says that we somehow can't attack her or this or that.
00:47:31.260So we just showed that ad, and I think that ad's important.
00:47:33.540We just had the latest poll just come in, Forbes poll, which is a national poll, and does have Trump up 11 points on Kamala, 51 to 40, which is good.
00:47:41.880You want to be over that 50 level that's really strong and sort of unheard of for a Republican in a national poll.
00:47:49.040But changing gears here quickly, we showed that ad, and that ad is running in 10 districts, 10 of our top targets, each specified towards the said Democrat incumbent.
00:47:59.740And it's interesting because we're talking about Kamala, and that's sort of the word of the day, of course.
00:48:04.100But the reality and what's behind the current, so the signal, not the noise, of course, is the fact that all these Democrats, many of them who called on Joe Biden to even step aside.
00:48:13.600They were, as of three, four weeks ago, fully complicit, propping up Joe Biden.
00:48:26.020Voters across this country understand that.
00:48:28.240It's incumbent on the posse to let everyone know what he's done.
00:48:32.860It is the scandal of the century, many of us believe, and I think that we all agree with that as well.
00:48:38.720So we have to get out there and explain because President Trump needs a House majority, a sizable one, because we have an aggressive agenda that they want to pass.
00:48:48.540And President Trump's agenda, you can find it on his website, I want to say.
00:51:11.020Remember, everybody, it's a win-win-win.
00:51:13.440It helps you get the best sleep of your life, the best products ever, helps my employees and my employees and the most attacked company ever.
00:51:50.300I hope he's getting some days of rest and relaxation and enjoying his freedom after being, again, a political prisoner of the United States of America.
00:52:03.960Peter Navarro, the man responsible for starting to restructure the economy to help people like Mike Lindell bring jobs back to America, employ Americans, America first, make America great again.
00:52:34.740I want to warn you of a huge change that could be coming to our money and our bank accounts.
00:52:40.420First, think back to 9-11, shortly after the government pushed through the Patriot Act.
00:52:44.920This gave the government power to spy on innocent Americans by monitoring our phone and email and tracking our movement across the Internet.
00:52:52.440Now, Jim Rickards, editor of the independent financial newsletter Strategic Intelligence and New York Times bestselling author, is warning about a coming event that could elevate this governmental surveillance to a terrifying new level.
00:53:06.500In fact, some of the guests I've had on The War Room believe that the government will soon expand their powers to track our every move.
00:53:13.880If we say the wrong things on social media, donate to the wrong causes, buy firearms, or even vote MAGA, the government may be able to shut us out of our bank accounts.
00:53:24.920I can't say for sure if this will happen, but it's an interesting and dire warning.
00:53:30.440Fortunately, Jim Rickards, an American patriot and friend of mine, has made it his mission to educate us on what he believes is coming and how to protect yourself from the possibility of programmable money.
00:53:42.760Watch Jim's warning video now, before it's censored like I've been in the past.
