Kamala Harris and Joe Biden sparred it out in a CNN town hall style debate on Thursday night, and it was a lot of fun to watch. On today's show, Steve and Peter discuss how the 2020 Democratic primary race is shaping up, and why we should all be worried about it. Plus, the latest on the Hockel vs. Hochkekel debate and why the media should be worried.
00:01:07.000We're going to do a little bit on debate prep, which I think you'll have a lot of fun with in anticipation of the throwdown on ABC News, a.k.a. CNN with a tuxedo.
00:03:42.000But what we're going to do is delve deep in kind of the state of the cancel culture, the media and how difficult it is really to get stuff out there.
00:03:52.000Next hour, the 11 o'clock block, we're going to it's going to that one's going to be a rapid race.
00:03:59.000We're going to have talk about how housing prices are off the charts.
00:04:05.000We'll delve a little deeper into this polling thing where I've never seen pollsters as whorish as they are in this particular race for some reason.
00:04:19.000At any rate, what I want to do right now is talk a little bit about Kamala Chameleon's great busing adventure.
00:04:30.000This is kind of foreplay for what I'm going to do on Friday about the debate prep.
00:04:34.000And you'll see why in a minute, because it was Kamala Harris's path to the White House.
00:04:44.000It's really a textbook sample of how a carefully crafted false narrative can be weaponized to win hearts, votes and ultimately power.
00:04:55.000What I want to do is take a very hard look at this airbrushed poor black kid from the Oakland hood narrative that Kamala loves to put out.
00:05:09.000And then we go into our time machine back to the 2020 Democrat primaries when when Harris didn't just spar with Joe Biden.
00:05:19.000And she went right for the juggler with a well-rehearsed line about busing that was designed to resonate really deeply with voters, particularly black voters and progressives.
00:05:36.840And what she did was she invoked this emotional image of a poor little black girl who was bused to school as part of this desegregation effort.
00:05:49.840And you got you when you're listening to this, you're conjuring up images, you know, the classic ghetto school or where there's graffiti everywhere and crime and nobody stuck.
00:06:01.840Well, you know, whatever that's got and and her punchline.
00:06:06.840And it was brilliant and it was rehearsed because anything she does, it's brilliant is always rehearsed.
00:06:37.840And I agree with you when you commit yourself to the importance of finding common ground.
00:06:44.840But I also believe and it is personal and I was actually very it was hurtful to hear you talk about the reputations of two United States senators who built their reputations and career on the segregation of race in this country.
00:07:02.840And it was not only that, but you also worked with them to oppose busing.
00:07:09.840And, you know, there was a little girl in California who was part of the second class to integrate her public schools.
00:07:17.840And she was bused to school every day.
00:08:11.840What Kamala Harris has done is she's developed this daughter of Oakland persona to distance herself from the People's Republic and thereby develop her develop this richer black narrative.
00:08:26.840Yeah, she was born in Oakland, but that's it.
00:08:30.840The only thing she ever did related to Oakland other than be born there was put young black men from Oakland behind bars for selling nickel bags of marijuana across the bay in San Francisco, where she was a district attorney.
00:08:46.840Now, here's here's what's interesting when you dive deeper.
00:10:08.840When politicians exaggerate or selectively highlight certain aspects of their life story, it does become a matter of public trust.
00:10:23.840Harris has built her career in a carefully crafted image that rings hollow with the reality of her middle class and privileged upbringing.
00:10:33.840Indeed, the duality getting a little philosophical here, the duality in Kamala Harris's narrative and embracing one part of her background will distance herself from another raises serious questions about Harris's authenticity.
00:10:48.840Harris has even taken to talking black English now and is politically convenient.
00:10:55.840It's called code switching in the parlance, and it involves altering one language dialect or speaking style to resonate with a particular audience.
00:11:07.840As Joe Biden might say, come on, man, and play that black English clip for me, Denver.
00:11:14.840You better thank a union member for sick leave.
00:11:18.840You better thank a union member for paid leave.
00:11:21.840You better thank a union member for vacation time.
00:11:25.840And you all helped us win in 2020, and we're going to do it again in 2024.
00:12:26.840Kamala Harris will flip flop on every position that voters disagree with her on simply to get elected.
00:12:34.840I came up with the the count Kamala flop.
00:12:38.840OK, the flip flop is when you flop on only one issue.
00:12:44.840A Kamala flop is when you flip flop on a whole bunch of issues on every issue that the voters might disagree with you on, whether it's fracking, whether it's defunding the police, whether it's the board.
00:13:48.840We can pretty much guarantee, as they say in statistics, she will revert to her own radical mean.
00:13:59.840So that's the Kamala Harris busing story.
00:14:06.840And again, it's surprising that the legacy media, the fake news never tells you about stuff you actually have to listen to the war room to get.
00:14:23.840We're going to dive deep into the Hochul China scandal and see how it draws a direct line to Vice President Tim Walz and the influence operations of the Chinese Communist Party.
00:14:40.840We'll have our special correspondent Adam Milan in.
00:18:22.840At one point, an assembly person asked if one of the governors could go meet with the Chinese,
00:18:28.840and the phrase was, no meeting please, kindly declined, did not want her to invade into Chinese-Taiwan sensitivity.
00:18:35.840But there was so much money that changed hands, millions and millions of dollars,
00:18:42.840that enabled Linda Sun and her husband to purchase a $4 million home in Long Island,
00:18:48.840a $2 million condo in Hawaii, and a whole fleet of luxury cars, including a Ferrari, a Mercedes, and a Range Rover.
00:18:58.840There was whole numbers of things that she did, including forging, apparently forging.
00:19:05.840Wow. Wow. Wow. Well, there they go again.
00:19:14.840So, yesterday at the 5 o'clock show, I was talking about how China runs these influence operations with Americans.
00:19:27.840Vice President candidate Tim Walz is kind of the poster child for that.
00:19:32.840But the other thing they do is they use their own citizens, ethnic Chinese.
00:19:42.840They're either born in the PRC and come here and do what China wants them to do,
00:19:52.840or maybe they come here with good intentions and they got parents back, their relatives, and the PRC pressures them.
00:20:00.840I'm going to bring in Adam Milan. He's our new China correspondent, speaks and reads fluently the Chinese language.
00:20:11.840Adam, you did a deep dive on this. Tell us what you know.
00:20:18.840Right. It's a staggering indictment. It's 65 pages, and for the Cuomo administration, Linda Sun worked as the deputy chief diversity officer for Andrew Cuomo.
00:20:45.840So she had influence over personnel decisions within the New York state government.
00:20:51.840Later, she was the deputy chief of staff for Kathy Hochul.
00:20:54.840And the operations that she ran brought in millions of dollars for her and her husband.
00:21:00.840Her husband ran a seafood export business and with Linda Sun's PRC contacts exported seafood to China, you know, peddling influence.
00:21:12.840And that was enough to buy the $4 million mansion in Long Island, the condo in Hawaii, the 2024 Ferrari Roma, the Range Rover, and the Mercedes SUV.
00:21:26.840Also listed in the indictment are assets that were found. There's a listing of $130,000 approximately in a safe deposit box. There's $10,000 in cash found at Linda Sun's home.
00:21:41.840There's also there are also bank accounts controlled by Linda Sun of approximately $60,000.
00:21:48.840And there are also bank accounts that are under the name of one of Linda Sun's close relatives that were opened by Chris Hu using the relative's name without their knowledge that have about $20,000.
00:22:03.840So we're talking millions of dollars of assets, hundreds of thousand dollars in cash. And there was a range of activity that they did.
00:22:10.840They did. Yeah. Did one clarify one thing? She was she an American? Was she a born in PRC? What to explain to the audience that.
00:22:24.680So she was born in the PRC, immigrated to the United States at a young age and was naturalized as a U.S. citizen.
00:22:31.020She got her start around 2008 campaigning for Grace Meng, who later became a U.S. Congresswoman.
00:22:39.180So that was her start in politics around 2008. And she worked for the New York state government from approximately 2012 to 2023 when she was terminated because she she did so many brazen things.
00:22:52.020But one of the brazen things that she did was she basically, through an abnormal channel, had a gubernatorial gubernatorial proclamation made that was not official and presented it at a Chinese New Year event in New York to a Chinese official.
00:23:10.300And it was found out about. And that's how she was fired.
00:23:13.660She did so many brazen things. But that was the you know, basically what got her fired from the New York state government.
00:23:20.740She was also so brazen that even after being fired, she continued to represent herself as part of the New York state government at various events.
00:23:30.060And the New York state government actually had to send her a cease and desist letter around August of 2023, telling her to stop representing herself as a member of the New York state government.
00:23:39.940How is it that Cuomo and then Hochul would would hire her?
00:23:45.620How does that work? Is there any scrutiny there? Any thought on that?
00:23:49.980I think in general, she rose through the ranks as, you know, a member of Grace Ming's staff and she was promoted in that way.
00:23:58.220And yeah, I think that's how she how she got started was with Grace Ming.
00:24:02.300Any evidence that that Grace Ming is compromised?
00:24:06.140Well, Grace Ming is a is an American of Taiwanese descent.
00:24:12.520And I haven't seen any evidence that directly that Grace Ming is compromised.
00:24:17.720I just see that that's how Linda Sun first started in government.
00:24:21.880And they did mention in that clip that one of the things Sun did was basically squelch any interaction in New York with Taiwan.
00:24:36.660That would be kind of a quintessential PRC gamble.
00:24:41.600What else did she do on behalf of the communists?
00:24:44.400Yeah, that's that's part of it. You mentioned the Taiwanese aspect and she squelched the relations between New York state and the Taiwanese government and bragged about it to her PRC government contacts.
00:24:56.780She also was captured. There's a photo of her attending a protest in New York City at the time.
00:25:05.000The Taiwanese president Tsai Ing-wen was visiting New York and Linda Sun was actually present at a PRC protest of the Taiwanese president's visit.
00:25:17.100She was in the audience. She was part of the protest.
00:25:19.440Wow. Yes, there's a publication that has a photo of her at the protest with PRC flags all around her protesting Tsai Ing-wen visiting New York City on her way to diplomatic visits in Central America with Taiwan's diplomatic allies.
00:25:34.700I guess the story here is not just about her infiltration, but the failure of the New York political government, part of the government to recognize just how brazen she was.
00:25:51.180Her husband was the bag man, right? He was the guy that got the money. How'd that work?
00:25:55.620That's right. That's right. He had a seafood export business and he also had a wine store and the indictment shows that the income from the businesses was not anywhere close to enough to be able to afford the assets that they were purchasing, the homes, the cars, et cetera.
00:26:13.720So he was the bag man, as you mentioned.
00:26:15.760And the money, was it laundered through those businesses or just kind of appeared mysteriously in this, in bank accounts? Do we know that?
00:26:27.320He laundered it. The indictment says that he basically layered, he layered the payments through different bank accounts.
00:26:33.740He would move, there would be money coming in from the PRC to certain bank accounts and he would move the money between different accounts that he and his family members controlled.
00:26:43.360So he was laundering money in that way, basically trying to hide the origins of the money.
00:26:50.880So I think what this stresses for me is, is the long-term strategy that, that the PRC, the Chinese Communist Party uses to compromise things.
00:27:04.980We got 30 seconds left. You got one last thing you want to add and let people know how they can get ahold of you.
00:27:10.100Sure. I can be found on New Century. It's newcentury.substack.com.
00:27:15.840And I would just say that if the PRC is willing to invest this much in a member of a governor's staff, think of how pleased they must be with their investment in Tim Walts.
00:27:25.420With, you know, 30 trips to China, educational travel adventures, the firm that he founded to bring students to China nearly every year during the 1990s up to 2003, the international fellowship that he had at the Macau Polytechnic Institute.
00:27:42.540As we, as you mentioned in the, in the piece, he is a Manchurian candidate and he can't be trusted to put America first as the Trump administration has done.
00:27:51.520If you're like me, your home is your castle and it's likely your most valuable asset.
00:27:57.760So why aren't you protecting it? Homes across America are being stolen every day.

00:34:22.420Remember when the third rail was Social Security?
00:34:24.760Well, ladies and gentlemen, the third rail is now the third rail is now January 6th, vaccines, sometimes China, sometimes trans and absolutely election integrity.
00:34:36.260So if you want to talk about those things, you're out.
00:34:41.520You're telling me that the trans issue is a red line on Fox?
00:34:45.200I think with some with some of the topics, it can be because, you know, the trans mafia is out there to whack people and they do it using advertisers, pharmaceutical companies.
00:35:00.540I mean, these you know, this this audience knows this hospitals and pharmaceutical companies and drug companies are making a killing on these trans drugs.
00:35:09.020No different than the Moderna and Pfizer.
00:36:02.200You know, they shot Tucker in front of everyone and they shot Tucker in front of everyone, because if you're going to kill the king, you need to make sure everyone sees it.
00:36:10.640Because once they see it, you get sort of trickled.
00:37:21.360You know, it's like but but but the thing about it is here's the thing.
00:37:25.260And it's like we've got a situation now where the Federal Bureau of Intimidation, it's like here's the analogy.
00:37:33.040You got all these like, OK, there's a lot of good guys at the FBI, but they keep their mouth shut when the bad guys do all sorts of things to intimidate the Trump folks and just, you know, school board parents and stuff like that.
00:38:06.080They're very supportive of Donald Trump, but they don't.
00:38:11.600They don't speak out just as the FBI agents don't speak out when cancel culture in Fox's case is in effect.
00:38:22.840I mean, there's certain folks, me, Don Jr., others can't get on Fox even in the middle of a campaign when they should be putting any Trump surrogate on simply because they can.
00:39:34.400And in recent months, let's say the last 12 months, Fox News has done its best to really only promote in-house books that are coming from Harper.
00:39:47.200So and that's not just War Room Books or Sky Horse or Post Hill Press, which is my publisher or Regnery or others.
00:39:54.920They won't even allow, in some cases, some of the other sort of mainstream publishers, if their authors want to come on, if they're issue experts, sometimes even if they work at Fox themselves, to flash their books on the screen.
00:40:10.260So it's more than just it's more than just keeping, you know, the untouchables like you and Don Jr. off.
00:40:18.680In some cases, it's people that, you know, aren't even touching the third rail because they're not Harper authors.
00:40:26.080They can't come on Fox News or at least if they're going to come on, they're not going to flash their book up.
00:40:30.860They're not, they're not, Fox is not a news organization.
00:40:38.320It's simply a business, I think, is what you're saying.
00:40:42.000They use their media platform to make a ton of money.
00:40:49.180So they sell conservative messages to build a conservative audience and they use that audience to buy the books their subsidiaries publish.
00:41:01.000Tell me why, though, CNN, MSNBC have become more hard line about not entertaining voices from the middle or right anymore.
00:41:23.180Two, two quick points on the Fox thing.
00:41:25.280Look, I'm a marketing guy and I can tell you the people that are placing ads on Fox, they're cut from the same cloth that thought it was a good idea to put, you know, the trans mafia in a bathtub drinking Bud Light.
00:41:37.560I mean, that, that, you know, that's what they thought.
00:45:38.920I mean, wokeism is essentially, you know, I've tried to put together a unified theory of wokeness.
00:45:44.160It's hard because it's a target-rich environment.
00:45:46.480And every day it's like the Crayola 64 box with the craziness that is erupting all around us.
00:45:52.060But if you look at the last, at least, you know, since this presidential election began, there's no doubt, and I believe this, that Trump, you know, got elected in 16 and stays as popular as he is because he pushes back against cultural Marxism and political correctness, whether it's in trade or China, whatever it is.
00:46:43.680They've had it with all this talk about white privilege, which, you know, in its core, Peter, when you hear that term, they're talking about three things.
00:46:50.900They're talking about Western civilization.
00:46:52.740They're talking about the middle class.
00:46:54.560And they're talking about the nuclear family.
00:46:59.480So, yeah, I'm being glib and funny by calling the book the white privilege album.
00:47:03.820But Western civilization doesn't have a skin color.
00:47:06.960The nuclear family doesn't have a skin color.
00:47:08.960So they are – and the left is trying to take those things from us.
00:47:12.440I mean, Black Lives Matter said it on their website.
00:47:15.580So that's what this election is about.
00:47:17.920It's about preserving the West, the nuclear family, and the middle class because the cultural Marxists know all three of them have to go for them to basically overthrow not only the United States but our culture.
00:47:30.600A.J., do you think that issue reaches beyond the MAGA and Republican base into the independence that Trump needs to bring home to get over the top on November 5th?
00:47:47.980I think, you know, I think the suburban America has had it.
00:47:54.700I think wokeism follows these people home through their children's textbooks.
00:47:59.220And look, paging Liz Cheney, there is a true insurrection out there, okay?
00:48:04.340And it's an insurrection of parents, a rebellion of parents, okay?
00:48:09.000Don't tell crying at them, but there is an insurrection happening.
00:48:13.120And it's parents trying to take back their culture and their schools.
00:48:16.640It's frightening to me that you can go to a school board meeting, speak up about reading, writing, arithmetic, and the next day have the FBI, Federal Bureau of Intimidation knock on your door.
00:48:38.920I just, I mean, do you have any sense when you research on this, how this wokeism got started and what percentage of the population actually embraces it?
00:48:55.040It seems like it's minority rule these days where a small handful of powerful people are imposing these ideologies on us.
00:52:22.220I want to warn you of a huge change that could be coming to our money in our bank accounts.
00:52:27.520First, think back to 9-11, shortly after the government pushed through the Patriot Act.
00:52:31.520This gave the government power to spy on innocent Americans by monitoring our phone and email and tracking our movement across the Internet.
00:52:40.380Now, Jim Rickards, editor of the independent financial newsletter Strategic Intelligence and New York Times bestselling author,
00:52:47.480is warning about a coming event that could elevate this governmental surveillance to a terrifying new level.
00:52:53.600In fact, some of the guests I've had on The War Room believe that the government will soon expand their powers to track our every move.
00:53:00.980If we say the wrong things on social media, donate to the wrong causes, buy firearms, or even vote MAGA,
00:53:08.020the government may be able to shut us out of our bank accounts.
00:53:12.020I can't say for sure if this will happen, but it's an interesting and dire warning.
00:53:17.540Fortunately, Jim Rickards, an American patriot and friend of mine,
00:53:20.540has made it his mission to educate us on what he believes is coming
00:53:24.280and how to protect yourself from the possibility of programmable money.
00:53:30.120Watch Jim's warning video now before it's censored like I've been in the past.
