00:37:32.140 there's a 90-day window before an election under federal law that you can't make some wholesale

00:37:37.100 changes to the voter rolls so the voter rolls are closed in arizona unless you're a foreign voter under

00:37:43.660 some specific circumstances you can't register to vote anymore so we're dealing with a known universe

00:37:49.020 the efforts of outside groups like turning point as well as the rnc and the state party's efforts have

00:37:55.980 significantly impacted voter registration we've been really out there harvesting applications and

00:38:01.820 getting them in on time really great air cover over that and now the effort is on a daily basis with

00:38:08.460 volunteers coming in from outside and of course throughout arizona but all over the country and i have

00:38:13.580 friends from the republican national committee who are traveling there and helping there have been

00:38:17.660 delegations from a lot of these red states that don't have a battleground issue coming in to help

00:38:23.420 and encourage everyone to return their ballots and so in 2022 a midterm election and then in 2020 a lot of

00:38:29.980 republicans were leery to vote early this time around we have a lot more people signed up to vote vote by mail

00:38:37.180 but also go and vote early and so you can go and vote early until november 1st in arizona and that's the

00:38:43.180 preferred method for a lot of people they want to go in and be able to vote early and then make sure

00:38:48.140 their ballot gets there and not rely on the u.s mails and so you know some people felt like in

00:38:52.780 maricopa county they didn't get their ballots on time by now uh today over 97 98 of the ballots should

00:38:58.940 be there that's postal service and efficiency probably for the most part um things that could

00:39:03.900 be tightened up for next election cycles but at the end of the day it's a matter of republican voters

00:39:09.980 voting the full ballot and getting it in in a greater rate than the democrats that's what it's

00:39:14.860 going to take and so um every day we have a war room operation over there there's a team of lawyers

00:39:20.620 there's a team of rnc uh political and legal as well as arizona political and legal communicating

00:39:26.940 numerous times throughout the day about emerging issues a mail truck has an accident what are we

00:39:32.300 doing with the ballots um you know somebody is giving incorrect information somewhere what are we

00:39:36.780 doing about that our observers being denied access that's all been resolved on a rolling basis in

00:39:42.380 real time so we feel pretty good about it i know this audience was particularly worked up about this

00:39:50.540 story from about two weeks ago what seemed to be it was 98 000 then it was like over 200 000 people

00:39:56.220 without verified citizenship status um being sent ballots are being authorized to vote for over

00:40:02.540 a decade and then there was the weird leak from the secretary of state or the recorder's office

00:40:06.780 in the washington post who knows who leaked it but in terms of tying up the loose ends on that side of

00:40:12.780 the coin um where do you think the election integrity efforts stand on the non-citizen vote particularly in

00:40:19.100 arizona so we can't call those people non-citizens what they are is people in the arizona voter

00:40:25.580 roles who the secretary of state has not been able to match up their proof of documented proof of

00:40:42.860 courts suspend the rulings and then they open the rulings up again at this point those people are being

00:40:49.980 allowed to vote and so you know we can certainly challenge individual voters who we believe are not

00:40:56.380 citizens at this point it is um it is something that the that that the courts have taken out of our

00:41:03.820 hands and it's unfortunate and what in my natalie in my opinion and i've gone and testified in congress

00:41:08.540 in front of the house administration committee on this we really need to tighten up our federal laws over

00:41:13.980 these issues and not tie the hands of states to enforce their laws in fact while many states have voter

00:41:20.300 integrity laws on the books the left has successfully fought in court to basically make those laws

00:41:27.100 toothless or eliminate them and federal law is quite vague on some of these issues and so congress and a

00:41:33.980 republican president can change that and they need to so in arizona what we're doing right now is just

00:41:40.300 making sure that we get every citizen entitled to vote out there voting keeping an eye on some of these issues uh

00:41:46.300 there have been reported spikes in overseas ballots being um sent to states arizona has some good laws

00:41:53.900 on who gets to vote as an overseas member in their states will the courts allow us to enforce that we're

00:42:00.300 keeping an eye on that and that remains to be seen but we do have a large national legal team working on

00:42:06.380 these issues on a daily basis and so where and if litigation is necessary and we believe it'll be
