On this episode of The War Room, I sit down with my brother Eric Bowling to talk about the latest in the Ukraine crisis and why we should all be on high alert. We talk about why the Russians are a problem and how we need to stand up to them.
00:00:11.180Well, at least what we know publicly is that TASS, which is the Russian news agency, and take it for what it's worth, okay?
00:00:18.060It's a propaganda arm of the Russian, you know, the criminal class of Putin and these guys, the KGB guys that run the deal.
00:00:25.740They put out the other day that just given the back and forth, this is before the big assault, just given the back and forth they were doing on drone strikes, and Russia was all over.
00:00:35.600These guys hitting with drone strikes, and they were hitting back, that they said publicly that the Russian military is starting to do target acquisition packages in Berlin, around Berlin.
00:00:47.720And next thing you know, Mertz is coming over here for a meeting with President Trump.
00:00:51.540Now, let's go back and read your history of the lead-up of 1939, 1941.
00:00:56.540These are the types of things that happened then that lead you on the passing war.
00:01:01.280Is this a hat in hand, save us, God help us, because we're going to need your help if this thing gets crazy?
00:01:08.440I think the thing is that, hey, we and the French and the U.K. are pulling together, and we see these guys as a problem.
00:01:32.340Well, Ukraine's got a lot of cards, you know, including doing an assault.
00:01:37.400As I keep saying, Curtis LeMay, the greatest strategic bombing general we've ever had that brought the Germans to their knees and then brought the Japanese to their knees.
00:01:45.780In his wildest fantasy, he never had a plan to take out 40 percent of the strategic bombing of the nuclear triad of the Russians.
00:02:00.660The other thing, just to let people make sure they understand, as bad as Putin is, he's got ultra-nationalists to the right of him that think he's been too much patty cake with this.
00:02:11.000They think they let the Americans get away with openly running the Ukraine war and saying, hey, we don't do anything about it.
00:04:10.340Mr. Trump said, we discussed the attack on Russia's docked airplanes by Ukraine and also various other attacks that have been taking place by both sides.
00:04:21.140It was a good conversation, but not a conversation that will lead to immediate peace.
00:04:27.700President Putin did say, and very strongly, that he will have to respond to the recent attacks on the airfields.
00:04:36.240And we've heard from President Trump since that surprise attack by Ukraine.
00:04:39.800What was interesting, I think, was the fact that President Trump just presented it as, well, this is what President Putin plans to do.
00:05:48.760Well, he's basically saying that him and Putin both agree that Iran should not have nuclear capabilities.
00:05:55.600And that is something that they can work together on.
00:05:58.860But I think there will be, you know, a lot of analysis there on just exactly what kind of relationship Donald Trump has with Vladimir Putin.
00:06:06.240You know, he's always been very deferential to him, far more critical of President Zelensky.
00:06:11.520But in recent weeks, he has criticized Mr. Putin a lot.
00:06:15.760He's also threatened to sanction him as well.
00:06:18.340And that's never materialized in any kind of actual meaningful way.
00:06:24.280But he still seems to think they have a close relationship, that they can still get something done together.
00:06:30.840I don't know what this means in terms of the war in Ukraine, whether Donald Trump has given up on that.
00:08:40.580And, of course, on Capitol Hill, people's heads are blowing up about what it's all about.
00:08:44.680It's one thing from cutting spending, et cetera, all these different types of things.
00:08:50.000It's very confusing that he get cut out of the – and we know from Capitol Hill, because people are calling us, that he's making a big picture to get his electric vehicle subsidies.
00:10:08.840Because young men were not well – they were not well-trained.
00:10:11.720They were thrown in as cannon fodder because we had not prepared.
00:10:16.480Of everything that's going on, and now, as I said, we're going to have the convergence of these crises.
00:10:21.060The convergence of these crises, and it's happening before us.
00:10:26.520The one that overwhelms on – this is why I always stop when I talk about the three things President Trump's – to make sure that we – he brings peace and lays down the guns to the kinetic part of the Third World War.
00:10:41.720I'm not so sure we have not – or we're not quickly passing the part of no return on that.
00:10:48.880President Trump came into offices with the American people, won it.
00:10:51.560President Trump's been very focused on it.
00:10:53.220But you have to ask the question, is everybody in this government aligned?
00:11:00.280I noticed I have not heard John Ratcliffe come forward from the Central Intelligence Agency, and I would love – I think it's incumbent for John Ratcliffe to come forward from the Central Intelligence Agency and say, absolutely, 100 percent.
00:11:14.060We had nothing to do with this, and we've wound down that thing in Wiesbaden, right?
00:11:18.680The Germans want to keep it up because the German chancellor is not over here for his health.
00:11:24.080He's not coming here to take the waters, okay?
00:11:27.020This is like the Churchill-type things of meeting with FDR before we were actually involved.
00:11:36.200You know, oh, this is Bannon running around.
00:12:08.240As much as President Trump is trying to get ready to lay down their arms and make sure we don't go further nuclear, the moolahs couldn't have been more insulting of what they said with the package.
00:12:20.600And this package is not something that a lot of the war room posse, right, and a lot of people in Israel are going to be excited about.
00:12:27.080And we've been the first to say, hey, you can't have any military, no military engagement, no troops in, no bombing raids, but you can't have just some verification program.
00:13:07.780They talk about a readout, just a technical term.
00:13:09.620This is when the, like, the State Department, the Kremlin, after the call, they get all the legal, the diplomatic language, they put out their spin.
00:13:57.440This was an audacious, bold strike and showed the weakness in their nuclear triad.
00:14:03.920They didn't go off to conventional forces.
00:14:05.200They weren't there to get some Wagner battalion of mercenaries.
00:14:09.620They went to take down the equivalent.
00:14:11.580It was equivalent of the Mexican cartels flying up to Omaha and taking out the strategic air command, 40% of it, on the tarmac, wingtip to wingtip.
00:14:22.060What would that cause here in the United States?
00:14:50.720And as I've warned, we are inexorably being drawn into a massive conflict on the Eurasian landmass.
00:14:59.880This July, there is a global summit of BRICS nations in Rio de Janeiro.
00:15:04.820The bloc of emerging superpowers, including China, Russia, India, and Persia, are meeting with the goal of displacing the United States dollar as the global currency.
00:15:18.400As BRICS nations push forward with their plans, global demand for U.S. dollars will decrease, bringing down the value of the dollar in your savings.
00:15:26.960While this transition won't not happen overnight, but trust me, it's going to start in Rio.
00:15:32.880The Rio Reset in July marks a pivotal moment when BRICS objectives move decisively from a theoretical possibility towards an inevitable reality.

00:21:40.120Well, unfortunately for the United States, it's really not up to us because China has such a stranglehold, not just over, obviously, from the personnel perspective.
00:21:51.860But really, I think what you've seen a lot of these tariff negotiations come down to, it's the critical minerals and, more precisely, the processing.
00:21:58.820But look, I think to link this to what you were talking about in the first block, you know, I love how all the elites and the media were sitting around twiddling their thumbs, calling us crazy for, you know, raising the red flags about Joe Biden's mental health.
00:22:13.440And now all of a sudden, we were right.
00:22:15.140I'd also extrapolate that critique to the origins of COVID and the COVID vaccines.
00:22:18.900But maybe Original Sin should actually be the book about how Washington got China, got the PRC wrong, and what you're talking about escalating conflict in Ukraine, what's going on with Russia, I really think is sort of a continuation of that, right?
00:22:33.360They've severely misdiagnosed what's going on there.
00:22:35.660But what you're seeing roll out right now is really, I think, I mean, kudos to China.
00:22:41.440They succeeded in their Made in China 2025 initiative, which was the idea of bringing essentially all the high-tech manufacturing, but more precisely, the sourcing of these critical minerals, but more importantly, to the tune of owning 90% of all of the processing that goes on on the world stage, bringing that home to China and dominating that industry.
00:23:03.940And that's, frankly, why we had to drop tariffs against them.
00:23:06.800The United States could probably last for about two weeks in terms of this high-tech life that we're used to without relying on them.
00:23:15.980And this is the place that our elites got us to.
00:23:19.140And I think you see them escalating right now, particularly because of Secretary of Defense Hegseth's speech in Shangri-La, which was a wonderful speech, really laid out, I think, the United States taking a stand.
00:23:42.860But what you're seeing, and I think an interesting narrative for this audience to pick up on, a lot of the people, and we'll get into it in later shows, hopefully, when we have the time, but a lot of the talking heads, the sort of, shall we say, developed assets and sources that they have created in Western media,
00:23:58.080are now really talking down the United States from building up in Taiwan from a kinetic perspective.
00:24:04.480Because they're saying, well, China's not, which that's blatantly false.
00:24:08.100But you and I both know that kinetic warfare has never really been their go-to strategy.
00:24:11.480But the really interesting point in sort of discerning and reverse engineering these laundered pieces is the number one piece of evidence that they point to in saying why we should not be building up or focused on Taiwan, which you and I are both non-interventionists, is because of the fatigue that has come from what is going on in Ukraine.
00:24:29.340So link that together, and that talks about, what is it, the eight-front war, the idea, I mean, frankly, the never-ending wars, Afghanistan, Iraq, take your pick.
00:24:37.720But leveraging that, the kind of American animosity, fatigue, rightfully so, against these forever wars to boost sort of indirectly the PRC's sovereignty over what's going on in the South China Sea,
00:24:50.920that is the information warfare that they are engaging in.
00:24:54.140You see it with, what, the new bioterrorists that were basically caught smuggling agricultural pathogens, the researchers after researchers who've been caught stealing the high-tech.
00:25:05.440And frankly, Steve, I'd even link, I think it's quite interesting, in the same time period that you have Hegseth in China assuring our ASEAN and other Asian allies that we have their back in this trade war against China.
00:25:17.200You see, what is it, three judges specifically picked for their anti-Trump rhetoric and backlog of cases to nuke the tariffs and say,
00:25:26.840you don't have the authority to do that, our number one tactic and economic worker.
00:25:31.020They run this country, they control this country, and what you're seeing in Besant's rhetoric in this phone call is all of that coming home to roost.
00:25:37.340What do you think, what's the best outcome, we've got about a minute here, what's the best outcome you can hope for on this Friday phone call,
00:25:50.740after he meets with Mertz, the German chancellor, and I think they're thinking to have an oppressor, on Thursday, ma'am?
00:25:56.160I mean, look, I would double down on what I think some of our comparative advantages are.
00:26:02.340The Chinese elite desperately care about access to Western institutions, and you saw that in that Axios piece.
00:26:08.840The retaliatory efforts that the Trump administration took in response to this sort of silent ban on exporting the processed rare earths
00:26:16.940was revoking those visas, primarily for the Chinese students.
00:29:16.200Keep your number, keep your phone, or upgrade.

00:29:47.460That's PatriotMobile.com slash Bannon or call 972-PATRIOT.
00:29:53.400A lot of the reason why the American people voted for President Trump was this idea that they're tired of these unelected bureaucrats making decisions.
00:30:01.220And the fact that you could have had a president who mentally was so absent for so long, right, essentially no cognizance, I believe I've previously described him as essentially dead,
00:30:10.360and that you could have had an administration go on, create all the havoc it did, not just here but abroad, for four years,
00:30:16.740shows you that that presidential role really has become sort of ceremonial and performative,
00:30:22.780and that these unelected, whether they're admin officials, career servants, political servants, take your pick, that they're the ones who are making the decisions.
00:30:29.920And that is what the American people are really, really upset about, and that's why you see President Trump going after what's perhaps called the deep state.
00:30:36.620I think that's too nice or cutesy a term.
00:30:38.560This is the permanent political class, these unelected bureaucrats who have their own set of policy.
00:30:43.140And it shows that you could literally have a dead president for four years, and they will run cover for him.
00:30:48.080And now these people want to lecture me that I'm not good enough at my job.
00:31:41.360The context, the lens, right, the paradigm of looking at the Ukraine war through just what is happening on the border there,
00:31:47.080Ukraine and Russia, I think, and I think a lot of this audience would agree with me, misses the forest for the trees.
00:31:52.000It's very myopic, right, when we should be trying to pull Russia away from the PRC camp
00:31:57.120and not deplete our arsenal, our ammo, our resources, so if it does come to kinetic conflict with China,
00:32:02.640we didn't, you know, leave it dwindled, so Ukraine can, I don't know, have a better chance of losing.
00:32:07.360But your thoughts on sort of the global lens through which I think the Biden regime and sort of that class got the Ukraine conflict so wrong
00:32:16.620that now left President Trump with a very difficult deck of cards to deal with.
00:46:04.420You've been having some fun with him out in Colorado.
00:46:08.200I think we've got Catherine O'Neill, who I wanted to bring on, obviously, living the dream out in the beautiful western part of America.
00:46:16.440But particularly, a certain Chinese fungus, like agro-terrorism pesticide, basically, that they found to researchers on fraudulently obtained F-1 visas to Chinese nationals smuggling in or out of the country.
00:46:37.320Thanks so much, Natalie, for having me on.
00:46:40.100This is very alarming for the agriculture industry at large around the country.
00:46:46.440This is an instance that we've actually seen before.
00:46:50.220There is a disease that has infected the citrus grove industry in Florida, which has almost completely wiped out the entire citrus industry in the state of Florida, which was one of their top industries.
00:47:04.140This is the same playbook that the communists use.
00:47:09.360Yesterday, as you know, was the 36-year anniversary of Tiananmen Square.
00:47:13.280And so it's very alarming that, you know, these people are trying to invade our country with these biological weapons.
00:47:24.380And kudos to Kash Patel for taking swift action in arresting them.
00:47:29.340And, Catherine, you've certainly taken swift action setting up Meriwether Farms in what feels like only a year or so.
00:47:36.820Hit the audience with the latest in terms of the wonderful deals.
00:47:40.420Beef sticks, hot dogs, what do you got?
00:47:50.000You get two porterhouse steaks, which I don't know if you remember, Natalie, but I held up one of them at one point, and it's really as big as my face.
00:48:23.200And, Warren Posse, I know this is a very China-heavy episode, but that's because they are the real threat, the existential threat, not climate change.
00:48:54.560But this is the article that I was talking about.
00:48:57.300It's been laundered by a senior fellow over at the Cato Institute, an individual by the name of Doug Bandau.
00:49:03.460And it's quite, I would say, a ridiculous article insinuating that the way that we can defend the United States best is by basically rolling over and letting China take Taiwan.
00:49:14.900But before you get into the merits of that argument, which we'll have to do in a future episode, and so you'll be back for the 6 p.m., it's worth noting that you guys need to stay very vigilant.
00:49:24.060Because this is someone who is trying to infiltrate Western media, though he is American, despite having very robust ties to the Chinese Communist Party, particularly their foreign influence operations in the form of the United Front Work Department.
00:49:38.400Which is their sort of multibillion-dollar political warfare operation that finds Western elites, academics, think tankers, think Hunter Biden, but on billion-dollar steroids time and time again.
00:49:50.380This is someone who actually was recently just in China.
00:49:53.960He has repeatedly participated in these annual conventions, kind of conferences for something called the China for Center in Globalization, speaking alongside not just members, top members of the Chinese Communist Party, military leaders or chairman of companies like Sinopec, which Hunter Biden, of course, did deals with.
00:50:13.600But what's even more interesting is that he has repeatedly appeared in basically media outlets that are run by these United Front Work Department proxy groups, like the China-United States Exchange Foundation.
00:50:26.000He writes articles for a publication called the China-U.S. Focus.
00:50:30.460I want to read some of the headlines that this individual who is now trying to smear the minds and really warp the minds of Americans when it comes to what defending Taiwan looks like.
00:50:41.220Which, again, not that I'm for forever wars, but he wrote in 2023, again, an American, I would say Pajing, Pan Bondi, if you want to bring someone up on treason or traitor charges.
00:50:52.220In 2023, he wrote an article, people fearing China is a big problem for Beijing.
00:50:58.040In 2023, he wrote, the U.S. and China shouldn't allow a balloon to derail relations.
00:51:03.440Also writing, the real China threat, treating Beijing as an enemy risks turning it into one.
00:51:09.940The coronavirus should not become an excuse to decouple, and my personal favorite, to win over allies, the U.S. must moderate its anti-China agenda.
00:51:22.300So I know a lot of times these discussions about the threat of the PRC on the information warfare verticals seem very abstract, but it is people like this who are on the payroll.
00:51:31.580Sue me, Doug, I know you've taken money hand over fist from the Chinese Communist Party, who then leverage the fact that they are Americans, that they have these positions, these so-called elite, you know, establishment think tanks like the Cato Institute,
00:51:44.820to push these propaganda-fueled talking points that are, believe me, written by the Chinese Communist Party for these Westerners.
00:51:53.380You want to talk about the people who sold this country out?
00:51:56.180It is people like Doug, and by the way, Doug is one of, I would argue, hundreds, probably thousands, when you really get into it, of people who are actively working to boost the propaganda narratives,
00:52:08.500and in some cases, the outright agenda of the Chinese Communist Party from within the United States.
00:52:14.820That is a perfect picture of someone who I believe is deserving of the title, Enemy Within.
00:52:19.900I know I've been told by my MSNBC better, so I know we're so correct on the mental health of Joe Biden that we aren't allowed to say that,
00:52:26.400but people who will take cash from existential threat, hostile communist regimes, and then spread their lies in Western media,
00:52:35.460particularly trying to lie to the MAGA audience, you're a traitor, and you're guilty of treason, I guess, allegedly.
00:52:44.220Well, not that the War Room Lawfare Department cares much about that.
00:52:48.780Doug Bando, you're a disgrace, and there are many more people like him, which we will continue to out here in the War Room.
00:52:53.460Don't go anywhere. Steve is back for the 6 p.m. show. You guys have a good one.
00:53:00.040What if he had the brightest mind in the War Room delivering critical financial research every month?
00:53:06.380Steve Bannon here. War Room listeners know Jim Rickards. I love this guy.
00:53:10.660He's our wise man, a former CIA, Pentagon, and White House advisor with an unmatched grasp of geopolitics and capital markets.
00:53:18.260Jim predicted Trump's Electoral College victory exactly 312 to 226, down to the actual number itself.
00:53:27.360Now he's issuing a dire warning about April 11th, a moment that could define Trump's presidency and your financial future.
00:53:34.700His latest book, Money GPT, exposes how AI is setting the stage for financial chaos, bank runs at lightning speeds, algorithm-driven crashes, and even threats to national security.
00:53:46.900Right now, War Room members get a free copy of Money GPT when they sign up for Strategic Intelligence.
00:53:53.040This is Jim's flagship financial newsletter, Strategic Intelligence.
