Bannon's War Room - Episode 4541： Smoke And Mirrors Behind Musk; Russia Strikes Back

00:00:01.000 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.

00:00:06.000 Pray for our enemies,

00:00:08.000 because we're going medieval on these people.

00:00:11.000 Here's one time I got a free shot

00:00:13.000 at all these networks lying about the people.

00:00:16.000 The people have had a belly full of it.

00:00:18.000 I know you don't like hearing that.

00:00:19.000 I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that,

00:00:21.000 but you're not going to stop it.

00:00:22.000 It's going to happen.

00:00:23.000 And where do people like that go to share the big lie?

00:00:26.000 Mega Media.

00:00:28.000 I wish in my soul,

00:00:30.000 I wish that any of these people had a conscience.

00:00:33.000 Ask yourself,

00:00:34.000 what is my task and what is my purpose?

00:00:37.000 If that answer is to save my country,

00:00:40.000 this country will be saved.

00:00:43.000 War Room.

00:00:44.000 Here's your host, Stephen K. Vance.

00:00:49.000 Okay, it is Friday, 6 June, Year of the Lord, 2025.

00:00:52.000 We are going to get to today, this morning, Patrick O'Donnell,

00:00:56.000 maybe later in the show.

00:00:58.000 It's obviously D-Day that we always do something special about

00:01:03.000 and make sure that we're always commemorating that.

00:01:05.000 Posa is going to join us here in a second. 1.00

00:01:07.000 Overnight, the Third World War is expanding, 0.53

00:01:10.000 another big hit into Kyiv.

00:01:11.000 But I want to go back.

00:01:13.000 Two things.

00:01:14.000 Number one, the great Gavin Wax.

00:01:15.000 It turns out Symington, who we had on here at the FCC commissioner,

00:01:19.000 has stepped down for a business opportunity.

00:01:21.000 He's going to leave.

00:01:22.000 But there's an opening, and I don't think they could do better,

00:01:25.000 to get any Gavin Wax.

00:01:27.000 Gavin Wax is one of the most extraordinary young men I've ever met.

00:01:30.000 And with that slot open, I don't think anybody would represent the country

00:01:34.000 and make sure I'm in this.

00:01:35.000 Caroline, you know this, all this madness with the broadcast networks,

00:01:39.000 their news coverage.

00:01:41.000 You know, they get these licenses,

00:01:42.000 and they're supposed to provide a public service and coverage of news.

00:01:46.000 And what they did in the old days is nothing compared to what they do now.

00:01:50.000 And that's why you need people like Gavin Wax,

00:01:52.000 who are kind of these young fire breathers,

00:01:55.000 that you need to kind of rejuvenate these alphabet agencies.

00:01:58.000 I don't think we can do better than having Gavin Wax as a new FCC commissioner

00:02:04.000 to really replace Symington, who's leaving.

00:02:07.000 I think he's Symington's deputy right now.

00:02:09.000 And, of course, you've been all over the FCC, Caroline.

00:02:13.000 But I want to go back to Sergio Gore, and particularly these bros,

00:02:17.000 like these things like all-in podcasts and all these guys,

00:02:20.000 they're all going to do something.

00:02:21.000 They all talk big.

00:02:22.000 You got David Sachs in this crowd.

00:02:23.000 And I think David Sachs has got to watch himself

00:02:25.000 because he's on pretty thin ice.

00:02:27.000 Okay, pretty thin ice.

00:02:29.000 And going after Sergio Gore and going after core people around President Trump,

00:02:34.000 not going to hack it, okay?

00:02:36.000 Sergio Gore is one of the most loyal people working with President Trump

00:02:39.000 and has kept us out of so many messes, like the situation with Isaacman.

00:02:44.000 And this shows you all these bro-ligarchs,

00:02:47.000 and particularly the guys that are all in it,

00:02:49.000 they're all left-wing Democrats, okay?

00:02:51.000 All they're trying to do is leech off the MAGA movement.

00:02:54.000 They've done nothing to support the MAGA movement.

00:02:56.000 They all joined us after Trump won. 1.00

00:02:58.000 They're nothing but leeches, right, and parasites. 1.00

00:03:01.000 What they're trying to do is draft off this for their own betterment, 1.00

00:03:04.000 not for the country, for their own self-interest.

00:03:07.000 And they're all tech bros, and they're going to do this,

00:03:09.000 and they're going to do that.

00:03:10.000 They're nothing.

00:03:11.000 They're absolutely just a bunch of geeks, okay? 0.52

00:03:14.000 They run away.

00:03:15.000 The first thing, like, you got Elon Musk, big tough guy.

00:03:18.000 He's begging.

00:03:19.000 They're all over Trump, begging.

00:03:20.000 We need a phone call.

00:03:21.000 He's so apologizing.

00:03:23.000 I'm not going to have a phone call.

00:03:25.000 They're all over.

00:03:26.000 You've got to deescalate.

00:03:27.000 You've got to deescalate.

00:03:28.000 Hey, this guy started.

00:03:29.000 He crossed the Rubicon.

00:03:30.000 But let's talk about Sergio.

00:03:31.000 There's five or six articles out today,

00:03:33.000 and I think Sergio looks like a star because he did what the president wanted

00:03:37.000 to get the information that this guy's another,

00:03:39.000 just like the All In podcast and David Sachs and all those guys,

00:03:41.000 they're all left-wing Democrats.

00:03:43.000 Right.

00:03:44.000 They're all, when they saw the MAGA movement taking power like a leech,

00:03:49.000 they all want to get in and leech off it, right? 1.00

00:03:52.000 Like the parasites they are. 1.00

00:03:54.000 We got it. 1.00

00:03:55.000 But you've got to watch them every second because it's always their self-interest,

00:03:58.000 just like Elon.

00:03:59.000 It's always about this.

00:04:00.000 Elon, as soon as the EV mandate doesn't go and so he's not going to get his way,

00:04:04.000 and as soon as people start looking at the data that he stole, right,

00:04:08.000 we've got to make sure everything that Doge did, they didn't take anybody's personal data

00:04:12.000 because you've got this Palantir situation right now.

00:04:14.000 That's what the MAGA supported.

00:04:16.000 We're not for the surveillance state.

00:04:18.000 We're not going to have it.

00:04:19.000 Okay?

00:04:20.000 We're free men and free women.

00:04:21.000 We believe in liberty and freedom.

00:04:23.000 But, Caroline, President Trump makes a decision.

00:04:26.000 President Trump wanted to check these things out of things that people had come through

00:04:29.000 the system before he had in place kind of controls.

00:04:32.000 And, you know, this guy at NASA, he's no great shakes. 0.72

00:04:37.000 You can take a stick and hit 20 of these guys, right?

00:04:40.000 But he's their guy. 0.99

00:04:41.000 That's what's important.

00:04:42.000 He's their guy.

00:04:43.000 He reports them.

00:04:44.000 Why?

00:04:45.000 He's a progressive Democrat.

00:04:46.000 All of his donations until after we won is to left-wing Democrats.

00:04:50.000 I mean, Schumer and Rosen, all of them.

00:04:53.000 These are hardcore anti-Trump, anti-MAGA people.

00:04:55.000 That's what he is.

00:04:56.000 And he's had a Damascene moment.

00:04:58.000 They've all had a road to Damascus.

00:05:00.000 They've all had a road to Damascus because President Trump and MAGA is in power.

00:05:04.000 That's why you have to watch them.

00:05:05.000 You have to watch them.

00:05:06.000 You can't trust them as far as you could throw them.

00:05:08.000 You have to watch them 24-7 because they're greedy.

00:05:12.000 And it's all about them.

00:05:14.000 It's all about just money, money, money.

00:05:16.000 And this is why you've got to watch them.

00:05:18.000 Caroline Brown about Sergio Gore, ma'am.

00:05:21.000 Well, you know, I've known Sergio actually since 2006.

00:05:24.000 When I was the College Republicans president at Auburn, I met him at a College Republicans event, a national event.

00:05:31.000 He was at GW.

00:05:32.000 And the next year, I texted him and said, are you coming to the conference?

00:05:35.000 And he said no because he thought the College Republicans at GW were too big of neocons and establishment.

00:05:41.000 So he had left the organization, started the Young America's Foundation chapter at GW to challenge the Republican Party's establishment on campus.

00:05:49.000 That's who Sergio Gore is.

00:05:51.000 He is someone who is not only brilliant but loyal and he has been against.

00:05:55.000 He truly, I mean, he's been MAGA before anyone else was MAGA.

00:05:58.000 I remember when I was working for Lindsey Graham, he was forcing me to watch hours of footage of Rand Paul filibustering Montenegro joining NATO on the Senate floor telling me, Caroline, you're a neocon and your boss is a neocon.

00:06:11.000 You need to learn.

00:06:12.000 I mean, truly, I learned about the MAGA movement because of Sergio Gore.

00:06:16.000 So for these Elon and the all-in podcast bros to be going after Sergio the way I've seen them, it's quite obvious they're doing it today.

00:06:22.000 They're trying to oppo dump on him because Sergio didn't bend the knee to the tech oligarchs and instead served at the will of the president and recommended people.

00:06:30.000 Saks better take his all-in bros. 0.96

00:06:36.000 He keeps attacking Sergio Gore and other people around there.

00:06:39.000 He's going to be held accountable.

00:06:41.000 And I don't think he wants to be held accountable.

00:06:43.000 He's not a guy that does well in the public glare, if you know what I mean.

00:06:47.000 And as you know from the war room, bro, we will go there.

00:06:51.000 Just like we went there on Elon.

00:06:53.000 Okay, we're not going to let these guys come in and grift off this movement and destroy people and try to destroy the president.

00:06:59.000 Yesterday, not just the Epstein thing, calling for the president to be impeached.

00:07:02.000 Everything we've gone through with the president of the United States, these two impeachments, trying to put him in jail.

00:07:06.000 And this guy, and right now, Susie Wiles, breaking news even as we speak here in the war room.

00:07:12.000 Susie Wiles, who's a pretty steady Eddie, a safe pair of hands.

00:07:15.000 She says, no phone call.

00:07:17.000 You've got to understand.

00:07:19.000 They are all over the president and every member of the staff.

00:07:23.000 Please, oh, please take a phone call.

00:07:25.000 You're big talkers yesterday.

00:07:27.000 But as soon as somebody punches back and saying, hey, we're going to take your security clearance.

00:07:32.000 We're going to take these companies and put them under government supervision under management until the investigations of you are done.

00:07:38.000 Because he knows these investigations are going to get tossed.

00:07:40.000 He knows they're going to get tossed out of the country.

00:07:42.000 So now, from the big talk yesterday of challenging President Trump, threatening him with impeachment, threatening him with this bogus thing on the Epstein, threatening him, oh, he's only here three and a half years.

00:07:52.000 I'm here 40.

00:07:53.000 Threatening him, I'm going to start a third party.

00:07:55.000 Yo, you ain't talking so big this morning, bro.

00:07:58.000 You're crawling on your belly with all the, you know, all the all in bros, the all in.

00:08:03.000 That's a really tough crowd, a group of pencil necks. 1.00

00:08:05.000 And you're all sitting there whining and yammering and, oh, Sergio's terrible. 0.84

00:08:09.000 He's terrible.

00:08:10.000 Sergio Gore ain't going anywhere.

00:08:12.000 And what he's doing for the president is screening people exactly like you that should not be around power.

00:08:20.000 You're dangerous people. 0.85

00:08:21.000 And here's why you're dangerous. 1.00

00:08:23.000 You're immature. 1.00

00:08:24.000 You're narcissistic. 1.00

00:08:25.000 It's all about you. 0.97

00:08:26.000 It's not about the country.

00:08:27.000 The MAGA movement is made up of veterans.

00:08:29.000 It's made up of people that have dedicated themselves to this republic.

00:08:32.000 That's the backbone of the Trump movement.

00:08:35.000 And they're just not going to sit there, not impressed by your wealth, not impressed by your technology.

00:08:38.000 We think it's quite dangerous.

00:08:39.000 And we think you are quite dangerous.

00:08:42.000 So if they want to continue on the Sergio Gores and others, hey, all I'm saying is you're going to be held accountable.

00:08:49.000 And I don't think you guys will hand up.

00:08:51.000 I don't think you'll stand up well to your moment in the sun.

00:08:56.000 So better back off.

00:08:58.000 Sergio Gore is not going anywhere.

00:08:59.000 Caroline Rand, Sergio Gore was just doing what the president said.

00:09:02.000 And it turns out, once again, President Trump's right.

00:09:04.000 He didn't feel right about this guy.

00:09:06.000 And he went and got the research and came back.

00:09:08.000 It was nothing but left wing Democrats who do nothing.

00:09:11.000 They're never Trump.

00:09:12.000 They're never MAGA.

00:09:13.000 They want to put Trump in prison. 0.84

00:09:14.000 They're the biggest haters.

00:09:15.000 And he's sitting there going, why should I get a guy in here that's underwriting the haters?

00:09:21.000 And now, oh, all now he's all MAGA after Trump won and after the inauguration, ma'am.

00:09:27.000 This is all smoke and mirrors, truly.

00:09:29.000 I mean, if Elon wants to go form another party, great.

00:09:31.000 It'll be Elon and then the three, four all in podcast bros.

00:09:35.000 Because look, yesterday, Elon instructed his 20 million X followers to call their representatives

00:09:40.000 and kill the bill.

00:09:41.000 I was reading a news story this morning that they said that the reporter called around the

00:09:45.000 different offices and one office said they got one call.

00:09:48.000 When Grace Chung goes on X and says, call your representative, the war room posse literally 1.00

00:09:53.000 shuts down the capital switchboard.

00:09:55.000 They flood the zone with so many calls.

00:09:57.000 That's because we're an army of a movement behind President Trump.

00:10:00.000 We lead 77 million Americans and growing.

00:10:03.000 And Elon has a following of three, maybe four.

00:10:06.000 One phone call when he put that up to his 20 million followers.

00:10:10.000 But also I want to say the audacity of Elon Musk to say that without him, Trump would have

00:10:14.000 lost. 0.61

00:10:15.000 And then to say that Trump has such ingratitude, ingratitude.

00:10:18.000 Like, are you kidding me, Elon?

00:10:19.000 You just got to spend six months working in the West Wing, serving our great nation,

00:10:24.000 perhaps one of the highest honors any individual could be granted, sitting next to our commander

00:10:29.000 in chief every day.

00:10:30.000 Your way of thanking him is to call him ungrateful. 1.00

00:10:33.000 No, Elon, you are ungrateful piece of scum. 1.00

00:10:36.000 And I hope that you are never allowed back into the West Wing again. 1.00

00:10:40.000 You it was an honor to get to do that every day and to serve this president.

00:10:44.000 And how dare you?

00:10:45.000 How dare you say that he is ungrateful to you?

00:10:49.000 By the way, I met Sergio 15 years ago this summer.

00:10:51.000 I made a film about Michelle Bachman and and Schlafly and Palin called Fire from the Heartland,

00:10:57.000 the women of the Tea Party movement.

00:10:59.000 And by the way, he was a Grundoon. 0.81

00:11:01.000 He was on the staff of Michelle Bachman with another young fire breather, Stephen Miller.

00:11:06.000 Yeah, guys.

00:11:07.000 They were MAGA before MAGA.

00:11:09.000 They were Tea Party MAGA.

00:11:10.000 And these two guys were fire breathers.

00:11:12.000 Then went to the Senate, one to Rand Paul, one to Jeff Sessions.

00:11:15.000 Look, and there's other people out there like Sergio that serve the president every day.

00:11:20.000 And you talk about ingratitude.

00:11:22.000 Carolyn Wren's point is that President Trump is not donor friendly.

00:11:27.000 He'll take the money, but it doesn't come.

00:11:29.000 He's not going to sit there and do their bidding.

00:11:32.000 And people that may give the money and think that they're up for a rude awakening.

00:11:36.000 President Trump's going to do what's right.

00:11:38.000 One of the worst things about the Elon situation was the buried lead in the Josh Dossie story of the Wall Street Journal.

00:11:44.000 Yeah, the number one President Trump looks around and says, hey, is this Doge thing all BS?

00:11:48.000 He says, where's those cuts?

00:11:49.000 Where's the trillion dollars of cuts?

00:11:51.000 Not the stuff Russ Vogt's working on that we see up there in the rescission bill.

00:11:54.000 Like, where's the trillion dollars of fraud?

00:11:56.000 He said, I spent three and a half minutes in the State of the Union talking about Social Security.

00:12:01.000 He says, like, where's the fraud there?

00:12:04.000 The guy's coming with nothing.

00:12:05.000 He promised a trillion dollars, and this is why he and Besson got into it.

00:12:08.000 So the president is not at the beck and call of donors.

00:12:12.000 Certainly, he's going to take the money, and you've seen this all the time, Caroline, when these people think they got it.

00:12:17.000 And not only did he get the Doge gig to serve his country, but then he wanted other things, particularly he wanted to stick around.

00:12:24.000 I mean, the president's the one that brought that up.

00:12:26.000 The White House is the one that got that information to Mark Caputo that, hey, your time's up.

00:12:30.000 You're kind of wearing thin, and we think you ought to move on.

00:12:33.000 Dave, you got a comment?

00:12:34.000 Yeah, just one minute of moral philosophy.

00:12:36.000 I stole this from another public philosopher.

00:12:39.000 One acid test for these guys, right?

00:12:41.000 You said these tech bros are going to, you know, draft off the president, and it'll be precisely for three years, you know, until we see what happens next.

00:12:49.000 And we all know that's the case, right?

00:12:51.000 All of a sudden, the winds are going to change, and they're going to do what they're going to do.

00:12:54.000 Here's your test, right?

00:12:55.000 Just look at good and evil, literally making a Faustian deal with the devil.

00:12:59.000 It's portrayed in Lord of the Rings, right?

00:13:01.000 The Sauron, the eye, the giant all-knowing evil eye.

00:13:05.000 Solomon makes a deal with Sauron, the evil, and thinking in Judeo-Christian terms that if I, you know, I make a deal with the devil, I'm going to get something out of it. 0.69

00:13:12.000 The characteristic of evil is it never shares.

00:13:15.000 It never lets you come on board versus the war room.

00:13:18.000 Grace Chong, Steve Bannon, when you join the mega, you get something out of it.

00:19:53.000 oty

00:20:00.000 Okay, Jack Posobiec joins us.

00:20:09.320 Jack, a massive raid overnight.

00:20:12.580 Ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, state-of-the-art drones,

00:20:18.780 really a bombardment like the 1940 Blitz of London.

00:20:24.080 I think five, the Ukrainians are telling us at first reports five dead,

00:20:27.820 but I hear there are many, many more dead.

00:20:29.200 And wounded, and they did go after civilian targets.

00:20:33.260 Is this the beginning of Putin's payback for the, quite frankly,

00:20:38.300 the audacious and brilliant assault by the Ukrainians 1.00

00:20:41.300 on the strategic bombing assets of the Russian Air Force?

00:20:47.080 Well, Steve, thanks again for having me on.

00:20:48.800 Last night, Russia launched one of the largest attacks on the war in Ukraine

00:20:53.340 that we've seen, deploying at least over 400 drones,

00:20:57.300 many of these, the one-way drones, also known as kamikaze drones,

00:21:01.240 at least 44, 45 missiles, as you mentioned, the ballistics and cruise missiles,

00:21:07.100 mostly Iskanders and Calibers, across almost every single region of Ukraine.

00:21:12.160 I'm at a loss to see.

00:21:13.360 And even President Zelenskyy came out and said that every single region of Ukraine was hit last night.

00:21:19.760 Obviously, this is being described by Russian sources as retaliation for those attacks on the Kerch Strait Bridge,

00:21:27.340 on the civilian train that Ukraine bombed, killing Russian civilians,

00:21:31.260 and, of course, on the strategic bombers.

00:21:34.040 Strategic bombers, by the way, also involved in this attack,

00:21:37.260 firing off those cruise missiles from the air.

00:21:40.060 These are some of the key targets that we're seeing a lot, as you say, many cities, Kiev itself,

00:21:44.540 but also cities in the far west of Ukraine.

00:21:47.640 So Kiev is central, and then south-central you had the attacks along the Dnieper River,

00:21:52.800 the city of Kherson, city of Mykolaiv, which I visited, which has key shipyards.

00:21:57.500 These were struck last night.

00:21:58.600 But then far west, you also saw strikes in places like Lviv, or Lviv, Lutsk, Turnipil.

00:22:06.260 These are all in western Ukraine.

00:22:07.580 And what are they hitting?

00:22:08.740 They're hitting power substations.

00:22:10.480 They're hitting electrical infrastructure.

00:22:12.420 They're hitting water infrastructure.

00:22:14.660 So all of this, of course, going into the summer.

00:22:17.940 And a lot of these key places, by the way, that they're hitting include those NATO supplies

00:22:22.920 that are coming in from Poland, that are coming across the train there.

00:22:26.300 They wait, and they track these supplies as they come across the border.

00:22:29.900 And then once they enter Ukraine at these various depots that they have them in the west,

00:22:34.860 that's when Russia commits their strikes.

00:22:37.200 And really what you're seeing is a setup for Russia to, I think, and a lot of analysts have

00:22:42.220 said they are setting themselves up for a major breakout in the eastern provinces on the border.

00:22:48.120 Because, of course, as we know, these air campaigns don't control land, but what controls land?

00:22:53.280 Soldiers.

00:22:53.720 And so you're ready to see the Russian army push forward this summer and really set themselves

00:22:59.020 up for a massive summer offensive.

00:23:01.360 Hold on.

00:23:01.920 Hang on.

00:23:02.240 Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

00:23:03.140 Hit rewind on the last minute of that.

00:23:05.440 What are you saying?

00:23:06.280 Because the air attack and the payback, you're seeing a pattern here that's laying a predicate.

00:23:14.200 Because the campaign season in Ukraine is, as you know, in fall, winter, and spring, very

00:23:20.960 difficult for infantry and for armor.

00:23:24.360 And, you know, artillery and armor and infantry, that kind of combined arms is the Russians' model,

00:23:31.880 right?

00:23:32.080 They just come and grind you down.

00:23:33.240 What are you seeing here now that may lead to a bigger summer campaign?

00:23:37.660 Well, Steve, as we know, this has been a war of attrition.

00:23:40.200 And a war of attrition is one where the Russians predominantly have the advantage because they 1.00

00:23:46.140 have the ability to call up reserves as they have again and again and again.

00:23:50.720 Whereas Ukraine, no matter how many weapon systems, no matter how much artillery, how 0.83

00:23:55.480 many shells, how many guns, the U.S. and NATO forces, the various NATO members of the alliance

00:24:01.800 can provide, what they aren't providing is manpower.

00:24:04.160 So Ukraine is at that manpower disadvantage.

00:24:07.360 This is where the Russians have the key advantage here. 0.50

00:24:10.760 And so they've been sitting back and just grinding, grinding, grinding in the eastern

00:24:15.360 Russian-speaking provinces.

00:24:16.720 But now they're at a point where, because you're seeing this predicate of striking the

00:24:21.220 weapons themselves, striking key elements of infrastructure, where they could be positioned

00:24:26.020 for some major salient breakouts into these regions in the Russian-eastern-speaking provinces,

00:24:31.620 many of the ones that, of course, they're talking about right now in Istanbul regarding the

00:24:36.600 peace talks that have been ongoing.

00:24:38.520 But, of course, with these trading major attacks back and forth, it seems that those peace deals

00:24:42.400 are really only focused on some prisoner swaps, both sides putting out their demands for

00:24:49.560 a ceasefire, but really nothing that I think either side is willing to go along with.

00:24:55.100 So instead, what you're probably going to see in the face of this is a major Russian advance 0.77

00:24:59.920 coming soon.

00:25:01.240 And they're probably going to have that decision by July.

00:25:03.680 By July.

00:25:05.240 By July.

00:25:07.360 Strategically, then, what Zelensky and these guys did, and whether deep state operatives

00:25:12.980 are part of the intelligence community, is just ended up poking the bear again, because

00:25:17.280 now they're not only getting bigger air assaults, but they're going to have, whereas President

00:25:21.880 Trump wanted everybody to lay their weapons down, you think they'll have bigger, you think

00:25:25.520 they'll have bigger, a bigger infantry and combined arms?

00:25:29.240 Well, Steve, remember, there are a lot of members of the Kremlin, a lot of members of

00:25:36.260 the Russian military infrastructure that don't want peace talks.

00:25:39.060 They're not interested in peace talks.

00:25:40.920 They look at the United States and they say, you know what?

00:25:43.200 It doesn't matter who's president.

00:25:44.820 It doesn't matter who gets in there, because the deep state is the ones in control.

00:25:49.160 You've got these Brennan and Clapper people running around, as you and I have talked about,

00:25:53.200 that clearly knew something about this attack, but didn't brief it up to the White House.

00:25:57.140 So from the Russian side, they don't care what President Trump says on the phone.

00:26:00.920 They're not these these types.

00:26:02.480 They're saying, we don't care what President Trump says.

00:26:05.360 We are going to push in.

00:26:06.540 We don't want peace.

00:26:07.580 And it's been it's actually been the policy of Putin and others to say, let's see what

00:26:12.760 kind of deal we can make in the meantime.

00:26:16.020 But you've got there's these folks on that.

00:26:18.180 I always see on the left and they say, oh, we'll just get rid of Putin and everything's

00:26:21.300 going to collapse.

00:26:21.740 I say, no, don't forget.

00:26:22.920 You've got people like Purgosian who had been over there.

00:26:25.300 You've got people who want to go all the way in and they say, let's glass this place.

00:26:28.760 And, Steve, this is a reminder.

00:26:29.880 This attack is a reminder that Russia has the ability to strike deep into Ukraine and 0.75

00:26:35.440 all across Ukraine whenever they want to, not to mention the Oresnik weapon system, the

00:26:41.660 hypersonic missiles that they have, all of these delivery platforms that they could have

00:26:46.000 at their disposal.

00:26:47.000 And I don't know where the Financial Times of London or all of these analysts were from

00:26:52.200 the Institute for the Study of War and Kagan's Place and all of them saying, oh, the Russians

00:26:55.720 are going to not be able to wage war into year two, into year three.

00:26:59.400 Guess what?

00:26:59.920 We're at three plus years, three plus years into this thing.

00:27:04.300 And guess what?

00:27:04.780 The drones are keep coming off the line.

00:27:07.100 The missiles, ballistics and cruise missiles keep coming off the line.

00:27:10.020 The tanks keep coming off the line.

00:27:11.620 Why?

00:27:11.960 And by the way, there's an interesting corollary here to what's going on in the United States

00:27:16.060 regarding the domestic policy because Russia never divested of their manufacturing base.

00:27:22.320 They were able to maintain their domestic manufacturing base using the leveraging, of course, the natural

00:27:28.680 resources, which Putin nationalized.

00:27:31.160 I think, Steve, you were having an interesting conversation yesterday about nationalizing industry.

00:27:35.880 So he nationalized those resources, stood up Gazprom and Rostam.

00:27:40.960 And guess what?

00:27:41.640 He's been using that to fuel the domestic industry and fuel the Russian war machine,

00:27:46.480 which they still have and have the ability to wage war.

00:27:49.180 When all of these analysts, Steve, all these analysts said that Russia would be out of guns

00:27:52.760 and out of bullets and they wouldn't have anything.

00:27:54.560 And guess what?

00:27:55.340 Three plus.

00:27:56.040 And they're striking every single region of Ukraine just last night.

00:28:01.140 OK, we're going to go back to the funeral here in a second.

00:28:03.180 Just one thing.

00:28:04.000 I'm beginning this on Patrick Webb, his Twitter feed.

00:28:06.800 And it's referencing the Reuters story, but I don't have the click through.

00:28:09.880 But I'm just going to repeat it.

00:28:10.800 It says Russia offers political asylum to Elon Musk over his Trump feud.

00:28:17.040 Jack Posovic, you're our expert in this area.

00:28:18.980 You're both the Elon Musk feud and in offering him asylum.

00:28:23.180 Your thoughts, sir?

00:28:23.860 Well, I don't know exactly if Russia is a bastion against political persecution, but, you know,

00:28:30.740 I don't think Elon faces is going to face that level of reprisal by the United States.

00:28:38.620 But look, the Russians are watching this.

00:28:40.320 And that's exactly what I've been saying.

00:28:41.700 The Russians are watching our internal politics. 0.80

00:28:44.140 The Russians are laughing at us.

00:28:46.020 The Chinese are laughing at us. 1.00

00:28:48.600 They are saying, we know that the United States is going to be too busy chasing their own tail.

00:28:53.880 The United States isn't serious.

00:28:55.640 The Trump administration isn't serious.

00:28:57.340 That's the way they're looking at it.

00:28:58.340 That's the way they're looking at it right now.

00:29:00.120 And they're saying, we're just going to go steady on with the fight because that's what we want.

00:29:05.440 And the same way that the Chinese who just knocked off, and Steve, as you've talked about this, 1.00

00:29:09.000 they just knocked off the government of South Korea.

00:29:10.980 So now South Korea is going the way of Hong Kong in 97, or at least in the 1980s and 90s, leading up to the 97 handover.

00:29:20.000 And they're just moving along.

00:29:21.220 They're moving along on their axis because what we're seeing is the depletion, right,

00:29:27.020 the depletion and the end of the international liberal order, the rise of multipolarity.

00:29:33.040 And they're saying, look, we don't care about these peace talks.

00:29:35.620 We're going to do it on our own.

00:29:37.100 And Putin just gave his interview to all of the oligarchs.

00:29:40.060 He brought all the oligarchs to Russia and came in and he said, look, get used to sanctions.
