00:00:35.200 however, still requires voter approval with a special election now set for November 4th.

00:00:41.380 Any given moment. But I don't think he cared about the classification system. I don't think he

00:00:46.800 appreciated the sensitivity of this information. And he didn't appreciate the sensitivity of

00:00:53.700 how it was often acquired, the so-called sources and methods. So this had been briefed to him

00:00:59.400 before I arrived. It was repeated frequently. I think it simply had no impact on him, whatever.

00:01:05.440 FBI agents have raided the home of former Trump National Security Advisor John Bolton early this

00:01:11.360 morning. A source familiar with the matter tells NBC News that FBI agents were sent there as part

00:01:17.360 of a national security investigation in search of classified records. The FBI has not yet commented

00:01:24.340 on this story. We should note again, we don't know what's happening here. It's a raid. If there are

00:01:30.260 criminal charges that follow, the government will have a chance, of course, to explain their case.

00:01:34.980 But right now, we just know that John Bolton, former now security advisor for President Trump,

00:01:39.820 now turned pretty harsh Trump critic, his home in suburban Washington has been raided.

00:01:46.020 Responding what occurred in Texas, we're neutralizing what occurred, and we're giving

00:01:51.200 the American people a fair chance. Because when all things are equal, we're all playing by the same

00:01:58.120 set of rules. There's no question that the Republican Party will be the minority party in

00:02:03.800 the House of Representatives next year. We got here because the President of the United States

00:02:08.900 is struggling. We got here because the President of the United States is one of the most unpopular

00:02:14.340 presidents in U.S. history. We got here because he recognizes that he will lose the election.

00:02:21.100 Congress will go back into the hands of the Democratic Party next November. Can't win by

00:02:26.180 playing by traditional sets of rules. He plays by no rules. I remind you all the time, it's not the

00:02:32.900 rule of law, it's the rule of Don. And we're standing up to that.

00:02:36.400 I have one update for you. The FBI, in fact, has commented on this. An FBI spokesperson told me,

00:02:42.860 I'm going to read the statement, quote, the FBI is conducting court-authorized activity in the area.

00:02:48.560 There is no threat to public safety. We have no further comment. And that is generally what the

00:02:54.360 FBI does when there is a visible search of a residence or a business, is they will confirm,

00:03:00.400 because it's obvious to everyone with eyes, that they are conducting court-authorized activity in

00:03:04.840 the area. To answer your question, what would they need to do this? They would need a magistrate

00:03:09.620 judge to sign a warrant after a finding of probable cause to believe that there is evidence of a

00:03:15.320 crime at the location of the search, which is John Bolton's home here in Bethesda. And as he said,

00:03:22.620 a source is telling NBC News that this is about a search for classified documents. So what's the

00:03:28.320 context here? Well, John Bolton wrote a book that was very critical of Donald Trump, and it was sort of

00:03:34.380 a memoir recounting his time as national security advisor called The Room Where It Happened. And

00:03:39.920 remember, the Trump administration not only sued him, but also launched a criminal investigation,

00:03:44.840 which was then subsequently dropped when President Biden took office and Merrick Garland became

00:03:50.400 the attorney general. The lawsuit was also dropped. They were trying to essentially say that he didn't

00:03:55.760 get the required permissions and clearances around making sure there was no classified information in

00:04:02.420 the book. He has long said there was no classified information in the book. But that is one of the

00:04:08.460 possible avenues here for what they could be looking at. Of course, this is incredibly ironic,

00:04:15.460 given the fact that just a few days ago, FBI Director Cash Patel was on Fox Business saying falsely

00:04:23.920 that the search of Donald Trump's home in Mar-a-Lago, the FBI raid, was unconstitutional,

00:04:29.240 was unfounded, that there was no predicate. In fact, a judge signed a warrant in that instance

00:04:35.580 as well. And Judge Eileen Cannon, who was a Trump-appointed judge who ruled in Donald Trump's favor and

00:04:42.240 in many, many issues, actually upheld the legality of that search and rejected Donald Trump's lawyer's

00:04:48.420 efforts to throw it out. But of course, Donald Trump and his allies denounced that FBI action.

00:04:55.920 They called it an unjust invasion of his home in Mar-a-Lago. But now today you have police cars

00:05:02.500 and FBI agents outside of John Bolton's home in Bethesda in a very, what they're saying is a very

00:05:10.520 similar action. Texas is gone. California heading that way. There are other states considering it.

00:05:16.660 Now, some of them, like New York, there are more obstacles in place. It won't be quite as easy

00:05:21.060 to pull off. It would be hard to argue this is good, big picture, for this nation's democracy.

00:05:27.960 But this is where we are now. The latest political norm and custom just thrown away in the Trump era.

00:05:35.620 Yeah. And it's not what the majority of Americans want, right? In poll after poll,

00:05:39.520 voters are telling us they would much rather this was done in a non-political way, non-partisan way.

00:05:44.140 But it looks like it's going to go ahead even in New York that you mentioned there, Jonathan,

00:05:50.240 by 2028, we could see that redistricting happening as well. So this morning, the Wall Street Journal

00:05:55.120 editorial board has a piece titled The Gerrymander Race to the Bottom and reads in part, quote,

00:06:01.940 say this for the gerrymander wars. Both parties are honest about their raw partisan motives.

00:06:07.200 Texas' gambit to redistrict mid-decade is dubious, but Democrats have long done the same.

00:06:13.300 Differences, Democrats have been more aggressive in using courts rather than their legislatures to

00:06:18.340 redraw maps, all while pretending to defend democracy or fake racism. But gerrymandered gains

00:06:24.920 are sometimes swept away with big election tides, as in 2006 and 2018. A large share of voters

00:06:32.460 aren't fiercely partisan. Texas Republicans also risk inviting a voter backlash that could flip a

00:07:20.880 police force. He is de-emphasizing the traditional national security mission of the FBI. After 9-11,

00:07:28.040 essentially, the entire agency was reoriented to make the number one priority, stopping a terrorist

00:07:33.200 attack on the United States. So counterterrorism was the number one mission. But counterespionage

00:07:38.200 has always been a huge mission of the FBI. Other national security missions, also white-collar fraud

00:07:44.080 and corruption. Cash Patel sees it much differently. He refers to FBI agents as cops, and he has been

00:07:49.860 taking a number of steps to direct them to essentially go after violent crime, which is generally a state

00:07:56.920 and local priority. And also, he's ordered that FBI agents spend a considerable amount of time

00:08:03.520 conducting immigration enforcement. But there has also been a clear direction for the FBI and the

00:08:12.940 Justice Department to essentially pursue Donald Trump's political enemies. Now, they don't

00:08:16.980 describe it that way. But in that same interview with Fox News, where Cash Patel was denouncing the search

00:08:23.580 on Mar-a-Lago, he also essentially issued a threat to any FBI agent or Justice Department prosecutor that had

00:08:29.460 worked on that case, or the other Jack Smith indictment of Donald Trump regarding overturning the election.

00:08:37.780 Cash Patel said, you should come in and talk to us. And if you don't, you're going to

00:08:42.860 find yourself on the end of our investigative activity, and it's going to be very uncomfortable

00:08:46.520 for you. I'm paraphrasing. So that was a remarkable statement by an FBI director. Essentially, they're

00:08:53.000 making no bones about the fact that they are looking to investigate people that were involved in what

00:08:59.040 they said was weaponization with these investigations of Donald Trump. And in fact, they've appointed a

00:09:05.500 lawyer, Ed Martin, at the Justice Department to be in charge of a weaponization working group.

00:09:10.400 And they are working on various investigations, including reportedly a grand jury investigation

00:09:15.260 that potentially involves President Obama and aides to Obama around the 10-year-old Russian

00:09:23.880 intelligence community assessment of Russia's efforts to interfere in the 2016 election. So

00:09:28.920 Donald Trump's law enforcement apparatus appears to be responding to his desire to relitigate

00:09:34.840 all of these issues where he thinks he was wronged by the intelligence community and the Justice

00:09:40.260 Department and the FBI. And it's going in what a lot of people think is some very dangerous directions.

00:16:08.520 at least 10 additional seats that we have to get, five in Florida, two in Ohio, and I think one each

00:16:16.020 in Indiana, Kentucky, and Missouri. Am I correct on that, sir? Yeah, that's right. I mean, Kentucky,

00:16:22.300 I think Scott was first to mention it, and there's some words. So it's sort of a developing front,

00:16:26.820 of course. But 15 is what we always spoke about for the last couple of weeks. And so that's where

00:17:03.240 York the next election, right? Because they've got these, quote unquote, independent processes and

00:17:08.160 everything else. So we have to maximize everything we can, because this is not just, while we need to

00:17:14.100 be maniacally focused on this election, of course, and the implications for this election,

00:17:18.880 this is going to be a drawn out two cycle fight, regardless of the Supreme Court and how things

00:17:23.300 rule. I think some people are a little nervous on the ground. I see some Indiana guys melting down,

00:17:28.620 but this could be the game changer for this republic. I mean, this will make or break

00:17:34.520 everything that we have fought so far. I mean, this stuff will disappear as you laid out, Steve. I mean,

00:17:39.540 this will disappear like that if we lose the House. So everything's within the law. Everything

00:17:44.820 is fair. You look at, obviously, Texas, I think is only getting up to about a 76%. You're looking

00:17:51.740 at like a 21% differential, maybe 18% between the margin of Democrat vote share and kind of their

00:17:59.220 seat representation. Almost every Democrat state is exponentially worse on the representation if you

00:18:05.960 look at, obviously, percentage of votes. No, no, no. Okay. Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. I want

00:18:10.440 to put some, I want to get some facts here because this, the people got to understand how bad it is.

00:18:15.880 In California, it's been 42 to nine. And this is a place that has, I think, 41% of the votes are

00:18:21.120 Republican votes. It's 42 to nine. They're going to 48 to four. They're not even, I mean, and they're not

00:18:28.080 shy about it. All of New England is 25 to nothing. And I think aggregated up, New England's about 39 or 40

00:18:35.600 percent Republican votes, 25 to zero. How bad is New York, sir?

00:18:41.840 It's, I mean, it's, in New York, we fought and we were pretty victorious in holding the line. I

00:18:47.460 think, I mean, New York, just because, I mean, frankly, Belize and everyone, we fought. I mean,

00:18:58.480 when you look at Lee Zeldin lost by six points. So it's totally ballistic. That's if they got the

00:19:03.680 map we wanted, but we defeated them twice because, hey, newsflash to the reporters watching,

00:19:09.220 Kathy Hochul mid-decade redistricted in 20, last election. So we could cut the trash, honestly.

00:19:16.520 Okay. She redistricted. She tried to gerrymander even further. We stopped them with court legal and

00:19:21.620 they moved the margins about five or six percentage points in a couple of seats, which really was the

00:19:26.900 game changer for NY22, also Tom Swasey seat. You could have flipped two more seats if we had kept

00:19:34.460 the maps the same because, you know, national money moved around based off what the expectations were

00:19:39.960 with the margins. So, you know, this whole thing is a total scam. I mean, they mid-decade redistricted

00:19:46.420 last election cycle. Okay. We've had three or four different maps in the last three years in New York

00:19:52.560 state. And Republicans have been victorious because we've been fighting it out using their

00:19:57.060 rules, Steve. I mean, hey, these are their rules. And of course, New York is trying to play smash

00:20:01.500 mouth, but, you know, they're sort of hamstrung behind the state constitution, just like sort of

00:20:05.320 California. I think it's interesting that Newson is very selfish, of course. And of course we know

00:20:10.600 why, Steve, but the reality is if he continues to escalate this, which of course he is, this will

00:20:15.940 spiral out of control for the Democrats. So bring it on. I mean, they will implode on this fight.

00:20:21.560 Well, this is why, okay. So, so, so right now, but, but we can't wait for them to push for us

00:20:26.880 react. We got to, we, we've advocated this from the beginning, a maximalist strategy. So right now

00:20:31.880 we got five in Texas. There's another 10, that's five in Florida, two in Ohio, one in Kentucky, one

00:20:39.220 in Indiana, one in Missouri. You said there might be three in Ohio because under the maximalist strategy,

00:20:44.520 do you believe we actually get three seats out of Ohio? Yeah, I've heard that. I'm not, I've heard,

00:20:50.300 there's a lot of chatter. I mean, there's a lot of people looking over maps because I think

00:20:53.460 with the Texas, with California, it's sort of the band-aid's off, the mask is off, as you would

00:20:58.820 say, Steve, right? I mean, the DCCC and the super PACs behind Hakeem Jeffries, I mean, they are the

00:21:05.020 funders. Now public record shows that you've got millions of dollars flooding in and they actually

00:21:10.540 openly admit they drew the map. I mean, they, they drew the map here at the DCCC, right? So now I think

00:21:17.260 people are saying, okay, look, game on. And I think people are going to, this will sort of

00:21:21.480 escalate. I think people are getting a little more blatant because I think people try to play

00:21:24.560 cute. You look at Texas, of course, like we said, of course they can pick up easily more seats there,

00:21:29.740 Steve. I mean, let's be honest about it. I mean, that's really important for people to know

00:21:32.780 because I think even with the current map with the five additional seats, I think it is less

00:21:38.400 gerrymandered than California is right now before they jam another five seats. If you look at the

00:21:43.860 vote share percentages that we were talking about before. And I think that's really important for

00:21:47.740 everyone, including all the liberal reporters watching, since I know so many of them do, Steve,

00:21:52.080 which is quite funny. But, um, so, you know, guess what? Game on, I guess, right?

00:21:57.640 But, but, but game on, by the way, we're going back to Texas 10. We're behind the scenes. We're

00:22:01.880 working nine stop. We want the, we want the additional five seats in Texas. Abbott and these

00:22:06.320 guys have not done their job. We had 10 seats down there. We want all 10. So there's a lot of work

00:22:11.300 behind. And that, so right now there's five we got with Texas. There's another 10 from all these

00:22:18.620 other states that are in play. And I like the fact Scott Jennings is saying he, he concurs,

00:22:22.660 we should do Kentucky. Um, then you've got another Texas five. That would be a total. If we did our

00:22:29.320 job, that would be a total of 20 seats redistricted. And that's what it should be. Because this is a

00:22:34.860 combination. I'll put the media story up later, uh, not media, um, media matters and a great analysis of

00:22:40.440 what we've been talking about here for the last couple of days of every different aspect of this.

00:23:29.900 you get to VRA, right, the voting rights, you know, act and sort of how the draw racial seats,

00:23:36.260 that's important, right? Racial seats. Uh, because I think that's sort of the issue in

00:23:40.020 new England, right? I think in the South, they have to draw racial and obviously in new England,

00:23:44.620 you know, MAGA is not a protected class, of course, so we don't get seats. And so they draw us out. So,

00:23:50.200 um, you know, if that all changes, I think you're looking at 50. Like I, I think I had said maybe more,

00:23:56.560 I think in the combination of everything. And I think that that really is the ball game because

00:24:00.960 there's absolutely no path to victory for the Democrats. They will have to change as a party,

00:24:36.400 leaving blue States and going to the red States. And so if you really, you know, remove the mask

00:24:41.480 on how many illegal immigrants are everywhere, this thing drops like a rock in certain areas. I mean,

00:24:45.840 you're, I'm reading reports that some places in California, 30, 40% illegal immigrants in some

00:24:51.380 towns. I don't know what's true now. I'm just reading all these reports and this is sort of,

00:24:55.520 exploding, obviously, as people are sort of looking into this, but the mail ballots, Steve,

00:25:00.180 I mean, that really, other than everything else, just, that's just also the ball game. I mean,

00:36:26.940 The Mar-a-Lago raid also started earlier in the day the way that this one did. But the FBI didn't

00:36:31.300 say anything about it. Christopher Wray hid from it. And they didn't let the public know at all.

00:36:36.040 It was Donald Trump who made it public at the end of the day after the raid was over. And they hid

00:36:41.220 from it for three days. If you remember, Merrick Garland didn't even address it until August 11th,

00:36:46.400 where he gave a speech at the DOJ podium, where he was basically taking responsibility. Because for

00:36:51.880 the previous three days, the Biden administration was going, oh, well, wow, we had no idea. We didn't

00:36:56.760 do this. You know, nobody was taking responsibility. And it took three days before Merrick Garland finally

00:37:02.100 said, okay, yeah, I approved this. Christopher Wray, the FBI director, never came out and said that.

00:37:07.240 But yet here, today, we have Kash Patel coming out front saying nobody's above the law. The FBI has

00:37:12.280 said, yes, we are raiding his home. We have our, you know, our FBI presence there. Our agents are

00:37:17.220 there. So the FBI in this instance under Kash Patel is not afraid to take ownership of this.

00:37:24.380 And with Mar-a-Lago, they were afraid to take ownership of it because they knew they weren't

00:37:28.240 supposed to be there. They didn't actually have probable cause. And they didn't find anything

00:37:32.280 worth using. And we know that because the case was supposed to be in Washington, D.C.

00:37:36.820 The grand jury subpoena came out of Washington, D.C. When I was forced to testify, I had to go up to

00:37:41.180 Washington, D.C. They were working something against Donald Trump in Washington, D.C. that

00:37:45.020 they could not even get enough evidence to indict him in D.C. So they had to scramble, cover their

00:37:50.080 own rear ends, and take it down to Florida and try to come up with a ridiculous, you know,

00:37:54.160 obstruction of justice case against Donald Trump. So the whole thing was falling apart from the

00:37:58.100 beginning. So I'm loving that Kash has taken command and control of this. He's out front. He's not

00:38:02.660 shying away from it. And that lets me know he's on good footing, he's on good standing,

00:38:06.100 and he is not worried about any attacks coming at this.

00:38:10.700 Well, they put out a statement saying it's a court approved. What does that mean? Explain to the

00:38:16.480 audience when they actually say in their official release that this is court approved. What does

00:38:21.940 that mean? Yeah, it means they got a warrant. They have a warrant to do it. They went to a judge. The

00:38:25.840 same way, actually, for the Mar-a-Lago raid, they did go to a Florida magistrate to get a warrant where

00:38:31.160 you have to have a sworn affidavit from an agent or from your source saying that this is the probable

00:38:36.440 cause that we want to use in order to effectuate this search warrant. But when they did it in the

00:38:41.740 Trump case, they went to a judge who was conflicted out. Just weeks prior, Bruce Reinhart had recused

00:38:47.320 himself from the Trump-Clinton case in Florida because he said he couldn't be impartial in the

00:38:52.420 case. And then a few weeks later, that's who the FBI goes to to get their search warrant. And oh,

00:38:58.300 by the way, they lied to the judge in the affidavit. They left out all the information

00:39:02.120 about how cooperative he had been, I had been, the defense team had been. They left out all of

00:39:07.860 the collaboration and cooperation on the part of the Trump team. They manipulated the facts to fit

00:39:13.360 the narrative they wanted that were not accurate. And then they lied to a judge who was conflicted out

00:39:18.660 to get their search warrant. So yeah, I mean, they did get a search warrant, but I don't think they

00:39:22.740 got it legally. So you're saying that they had to show probable cause today to a judge that signed

00:39:29.800 this warrant and allowed them to go in and retrieve and take those, take whatever they're going to

00:39:36.000 take out to actually do this right. But you've seen them earlier making these cardboard boxes ready to

00:39:41.560 like, and there were quite a few of them. They had to go to a judge and make the case for probable

00:39:46.340 cause, ma'am? Yeah, 100%. In order to, I mean, based on their statement, it sounds like they got a

00:39:51.780 search warrant. I can't imagine they would do this without a warrant. So yeah, they got a search

00:39:55.240 warrant. They had to make their case to a judge. They had to swear under oath who, you know, an agent

00:39:59.260 or somebody that had the probable cause had to swear under oath saying that we have probable cause.

00:40:04.180 This is what it is. The judge makes the assessment, him or herself, and signs the warrant. They got the

00:53:06.740 the exact same financial aid benefits as American citizens. So Americans get screwed twice. First,

00:53:13.480 for paying for the specialized admissions process, and then for paying for this financial aid to be

00:53:20.380 lavished on international students. And quite frankly, now we see many of, quote, the best and

00:53:25.980 brightest, according to the left, are actually criminals and supporters of Islamist terrorists.
