00:01:22.620 But I think President Trump opening up yet another theater of very important war

00:01:27.320 on the election front, or as we call it here in the War Room, ballot warfare.

00:01:32.320 If we want to toss that true social post up on screen,

00:01:37.240 we can see President Trump declaring that he wants to essentially end mail-in ballot usage.

00:01:42.940 I think we definitely stand by that, and some nice euphemistic adjectives

00:01:46.940 describing some of these wonky voting machines trying to make a voting system

00:01:51.600 that is actually deserving of this great country that we live in,

00:01:54.820 not third world or maybe even fourth world banana republic vibes.

00:01:58.700 I wanted to bring on probably one of the strongest advocates of all things,

00:02:03.860 all things taking agency into your own hands when it comes to the security

00:02:08.000 and sanctity of elections, and that is none other than Scott Pressler,

00:02:14.060 You are actually, as we speak, I think, registering voters.

00:02:17.660 You're out and about in New Jersey, so maybe we'll have some people come and stop you.

00:02:25.860 But before we get into what you've been doing on the ground game perspective,

00:02:29.180 I'm curious your thoughts on just sort of the cursory plan that President Trump laid out

00:02:34.060 with regard to ridding mail-in ballots from our elections.

00:02:37.780 Thank you. Well, it's good to be back here on The War Room.

00:02:42.560 Thank you, Natalie, for having me.

00:02:44.860 You know, I'll tell you, on behalf of the millions of people that follow me,

00:02:49.580 I can tell you that among peace and the economy and securing the border,

00:02:55.540 election integrity is one of the most important issues that the Trump voter base cares about.

00:03:02.400 And we want to make sure, especially going into this November in the midterm elections,

00:03:06.500 that every American can know that their vote is going to be legal, lawful,

00:03:14.900 and that one person equals one vote.

00:03:18.640 And so it's a lot to unpack with President Trump's plan.

00:03:23.020 If anything, I would probably surmise what it means, Natalie,

00:03:27.900 is that President Trump may declare a national security emergency when it comes to election integrity.

00:03:36.800 And therefore, he will then be able to issue executive orders at the federal level

00:03:44.240 in order to provide for layers of election integrity.

00:03:47.780 Now, when it comes to mail-in voting, what I believe is probably going to happen

00:03:52.240 is when it comes to federal elections, the president will probably make sure

00:03:56.880 that we put an end to automatic vote by bill.

00:04:00.860 And what I mean by that is states like Oregon, California, Washington, even Utah, Hawaii,

00:04:09.220 you have these states that every registered voter, California, receives a mail-in ballot

00:04:15.840 whether or not that person has requested one, which is totally different than absentee voting

00:04:22.860 or for our military, for example, or for the elderly,

00:04:27.540 or for people that aren't going to be able to vote on election day.

00:04:31.660 And so I believe that there are probably still going to be some ways that people can legally

00:04:36.660 and lawfully vote and have their voices heard,

00:04:40.320 but President Trump will be curtailing the automatic vote by mail.

00:04:44.500 And I do want to give a brief shout-out to Ben Edel in Oregon,

00:04:48.840 who is working right now to collect signatures to end automatic vote by mail in the state of Oregon.

00:04:55.140 And that's probably what I see happening, Natalie.

00:04:58.660 I'm curious about this national security emergency that you brought up.

00:05:02.880 I'm sure Media Matters and all of MSNBC or whatever their new network name is.

00:05:06.860 I can never remember it. It's so bizarre.

00:05:08.460 They're probably in meltdown hearing those terms put together.

00:05:11.840 Is this something that has been done before?

00:05:15.060 Or why do you think that that would be the path forward that the Trump administration would choose?

00:05:21.680 Well, in order to issue an executive order,

00:05:26.000 a pathway to quickly having some sort of reconciliation or a remedy,

00:05:34.060 would be declaring national security emergency in regards to election security.

00:05:43.020 Let's put it this way.

00:05:44.640 If I were in the executive, that's how I would immediately be able to spur progress when it comes to election security.

00:05:55.020 Because let's be real.

00:05:56.160 Well, President Trump's House, the Republican House, has already passed a SAVE Act.

00:06:01.380 But what is stopping us right now, Natalie?

00:06:03.780 Well, we need 60 votes in the Senate.

00:06:07.060 And we know that Fetterman and a lot of these senators aren't going to come to the table.

00:06:13.060 And it's already really difficult for us to get 53 Republican senators to coalesce,

00:06:20.520 notwithstanding getting seven Democrats to come across the aisle and actually vote for election security,

00:06:26.660 which, by the way, is probably going to detrimentally impact their ability to win their elections.

00:06:32.740 And so, therefore, we have to look at a Plan B option.

00:06:35.620 That's why we're looking at citizen-initiated petitions in states like California, Oregon, and Washington.

00:06:42.340 And in my opinion, a Plan C and something that we can do imminently

00:06:46.680 without having to collect millions of signatures would be an EO from the President of the United States.

00:06:54.740 And sort of linking this to what you were talking about,

00:06:57.340 how it seems like a lot of these issues, they start out with good intentions,

00:07:01.220 oftentimes a very nice, you know, bombastic, true social post.

00:07:04.700 But oftentimes from within the tent, not even from the Democrats,

00:07:08.540 but you can see them try to co-opt these issues and go soft.

00:07:12.240 What would your advice to the White House be in terms of, you know,

00:07:16.260 who you think should be helping guide them, providing input, people like yourself,

00:07:20.960 people who really work with the grassroots?

00:07:23.400 Obviously, this is an existential crisis, and I use that not in the way the left does to describe climate change.

00:07:28.400 But what would your sort of suggestion be, if you were advising the White House, of course,

00:07:33.620 hypothetically on this issue, as to the type of people that they should be really talking to,

00:07:38.740 to figure out the best way forward?

00:07:41.620 Well, I'd like to take a little bit of a more stern tone.

00:07:44.940 I know probably some White House individuals, I know they do, watch Stephen K. Bannon's War Room with you, Natalie.

00:07:52.480 And here's my advice.

00:07:54.520 If we don't peacefully fight fire with a flamethrower and make sure that we are enacting every level of election security

00:08:04.080 and making sure that we have the candidates in order to win the midterm elections in 2026,

00:08:13.060 Trump already knows that history may repeat itself.

00:08:16.000 And what I mean by that is we lost the House of Representatives in 2018.

00:08:20.160 And what happened when Democrats took over?

00:08:22.640 They impeached our dear president.

00:08:24.760 They stalled his America First agenda.

00:08:27.360 And you hear me.

00:08:28.240 If we do not maintain control of the House of Representatives in 2026 and they take over in 2027,

00:08:34.460 it's going to be a blank check for Ukraine.

00:08:37.780 We're not going to have funding to secure our border.

00:08:41.380 And President Trump, for the remainder of his presidency,

00:08:44.980 he will have only served out of eight years, four years of legislative success.

00:08:50.800 And the Democrats will have successfully taken four years from him.

00:08:54.080 So I say every option is on the table.

00:08:59.140 You redraw Texas and Florida and Indiana and every state that you possibly can,

00:09:06.160 because if the Democrats are going to do it, and they have in Massachusetts and Maine and Vermont

00:09:11.240 and New Hampshire and California, Oregon, Washington, Connecticut,

00:09:15.300 every tool that the Democrats have done for the last 50 years, dare I say 100 years,

00:09:21.500 you use their playbook against them.

00:10:09.020 do you think that they actually have, like, my point essentially being that

00:10:12.900 it's up to President Trump, right, to take this into his hands,

00:10:15.460 because he doesn't necessarily have backup on this issue from anyone in Congress.

00:10:22.780 Or how can the posse make sure we push it across the line?

00:10:28.380 Yes, without hesitation and without a doubt.

00:10:31.640 And so what the posse needs to do is, especially in states like Texas,

00:10:38.740 you need to have everybody call your state representatives

00:10:42.640 and your state senators and let them know that you support

00:10:46.300 the redrawing of the maps at the state level in Texas,

00:10:51.520 in Florida, in Indiana, and in every state, quite frankly.

00:10:56.040 See, what makes 2024 different than 2016

00:10:59.940 is especially that we won the popular vote together.

00:11:04.940 The posse helped deliver the popular vote for President Trump.

00:11:08.740 And so these legislators need to know

00:11:11.040 that the majority of the country stands with the president and his agenda.

00:11:15.540 And that means that we must be vocal

00:11:16.960 and we must let them know that we support the redrawing of the maps

00:11:21.380 in order to make sure that we have success in the midterm elections.
