00:30:38.520 it really does look like

00:30:39.520 Lisa Cook probably did commit

00:30:40.520 mortgage fraud,

00:30:41.520 which really is a serious crime.

00:30:43.520 I mean, she bought two different

00:30:44.520 homes in two different states,

00:30:46.520 two weeks apart from each other,

00:30:48.520 claiming both as a primary residence

00:30:50.520 to get better loan terms.

00:30:52.520 And then, frankly,

00:30:53.520 there's a whole question about

00:30:54.520 what she did with her taxes,

00:30:55.520 because you can also use that

00:30:57.520 to get better taxes.

00:30:58.520 So, you know,

00:30:59.520 a lot of people are trying

00:31:00.520 to politicize the firing.

00:31:01.520 But the truth is,

00:31:02.520 he's firing her for cause,

00:31:03.520 which is something the president's

00:31:04.520 got legal authority to do.

00:31:06.520 And if she committed a crime,

00:31:07.520 that's certainly cause enough.

00:31:09.520 But, you know,

00:31:10.520 to the other part

00:31:11.520 of your question there,

00:31:12.520 look, the Fed has made

00:31:13.520 a lot of decisions

00:31:14.520 that are very suspicious.

00:31:15.520 Cutting rates, you know,

00:31:16.520 a half point before the election

00:31:18.520 certainly was,

00:31:19.520 it looked politically time.

00:31:20.520 There's good reason

00:31:21.520 the question that there's

00:31:22.520 a lot of people

00:31:23.520 that have done so.

00:31:24.520 And then, you know,

00:31:25.520 going forward,

00:31:26.520 it's important that the Fed

00:31:27.520 makes decisions

00:31:28.520 that are transparent,

00:31:29.520 that people trust.

00:31:30.520 It's important to have people

00:31:31.520 there that,

00:31:32.520 unlike Lisa Cook,

00:31:33.520 don't have a DEI background.

00:31:34.520 I don't mean her.

00:31:35.520 I mean her work focused

00:31:37.520 on promoting DEI.

00:31:39.520 So it's important

00:31:40.520 we have people there

00:31:41.520 that are really focused

00:31:42.520 on the American economy,

00:31:43.520 the American public,

00:31:44.520 and a transparent process

00:31:46.520 of the Fed.

00:31:47.520 And just give us a few minutes

00:31:50.520 are there names being floated

00:31:52.520 of people who could,

00:31:53.520 who could replace her?

00:31:54.520 Obviously,

00:31:55.520 they're making it like it's

00:31:56.520 some hyper-political witch hunt,

00:31:57.520 but I think you hit the nail

00:31:58.520 on the head.

00:31:59.520 She's actually the really

00:32:00.520 politicized one.

00:32:01.520 It's just about the economy,

00:32:03.520 the data, the numbers.

00:32:04.520 Don't lie,

00:32:05.520 but what would the sort

00:32:06.520 of timeline look like

00:32:08.520 for replacing her?

00:32:09.520 And are there any,

00:32:10.520 you know, names or people

00:32:11.520 that you think would be

00:32:12.520 logical picks for the president?

00:32:14.520 Well, certainly,

00:32:15.520 Judith Shelton's been somebody

00:32:16.520 that's been talked about a lot.

00:32:18.520 There are other people in there.

00:32:19.520 You know,

00:32:20.520 the impression the president gave

00:32:21.520 is that he might move Moran over

00:32:23.520 so he's got more time

00:32:24.520 in the term,

00:32:25.520 something like that.

00:32:26.520 But I think there were

00:32:27.520 a lot of good conservative economists

00:32:29.520 and people who frankly

00:32:30.520 understand how markets work,

00:32:32.520 who are not, you know,

00:32:33.520 like the liberals that get in,

00:32:35.520 going to go in and try to use

00:32:36.520 the Federal Reserve as a state bank

00:32:39.520 to promote woke and DI,

00:32:41.520 you know, operations and activities,

00:32:43.520 which frankly, you know,

00:32:44.520 the new prime minister in Canada,

00:32:45.520 a lot of people realize this,

00:32:47.520 he was a central bank chairman

00:32:48.520 for two different central banks

00:32:50.520 and came up with the architecture

00:32:52.520 of these woke focused central banks.

00:32:54.520 So it's time to clear that out.

00:32:56.520 There were a lot of good economists

00:32:58.520 who would do the job well,

00:32:59.520 who understand what matters,

00:33:01.520 who would come in without an agenda.

00:33:03.520 Now, in terms of timeline,

00:33:04.520 the one critical thing here is,

00:33:05.520 it's a little unprecedented.

00:33:07.520 It's frankly unprecedented

00:33:08.520 to have a Fed governor

00:33:10.520 who seemed to have committed

00:33:11.520 a crime of this kind of caliber.

00:33:13.520 And so we'll have to see

00:33:14.520 how the legal proceedings

00:33:15.520 go over that.

00:33:16.520 I'm sure there's gonna be

00:33:17.520 a lot of legal drama

00:33:18.520 getting her out the door

00:33:19.520 and adjudicating what crime

00:33:21.520 she may or may not have committed

00:33:23.520 and how that's gonna work.

00:33:24.520 But I think once that's cleared up,

00:33:25.520 if she's gone,

00:33:26.520 I think the president

00:33:27.520 will want to move quickly.

00:33:28.520 He'll want to reassure markets,

00:33:30.520 make sure we have a good,

00:33:31.520 you know,

00:33:32.520 board of governors at the Fed

00:33:33.520 who can get right into it,

00:33:35.520 you know, boots on the ground,

00:33:36.520 so to speak.

00:34:39.520 a very robust Senate report

00:34:40.520 that was released

00:34:41.520 about two years ago

00:34:42.520 talking about PRC infiltration

00:34:44.520 of the Fed,

00:34:46.520 even including,

00:34:47.520 but not limited to,

00:34:48.520 Fed officials being detained

00:34:50.520 in China several times

00:34:52.520 while Chinese authorities

00:34:54.520 tried to steal documents

00:34:55.520 from them,

00:34:56.520 compelling, coercing

00:34:57.520 these individuals

00:34:58.520 into signing documents

00:34:59.520 to say that they

00:35:00.520 wouldn't talk about it.

00:35:01.520 And of course,

00:35:02.520 there's the very high-profile case,

00:35:03.520 I think,

00:35:04.520 being worked out right now,

00:35:05.520 but a man who I believe

00:35:06.520 resides in,

00:35:07.520 in Northern Virginia,

00:35:08.520 was the Trump administration

00:35:09.520 that I think issued.

00:35:11.520 It was the DOJ,

00:35:12.520 sealed the deal on it,

00:35:13.520 but a guy who was leaking

00:35:14.520 classified documents under,

00:35:16.520 might I go back to where

00:35:17.520 we started this show,

00:35:18.520 the false pretense

00:35:19.520 of being a university professor

00:35:21.520 at a China-based school

00:35:23.520 for the proof

00:35:24.520 that they use academia

00:35:25.520 as yet another arrow

00:35:27.520 in the quiver

00:35:29.520 the United States of America.

00:35:48.520 every department,

00:35:49.520 every agency

00:35:50.520 here in the United States,

00:35:51.520 which is something

00:35:52.520 that our next guest,

00:37:07.520 of Governor Palacios

00:37:09.520 on July 23rd.

00:37:10.520 So this is a US territory.

00:37:12.520 This is,

00:37:13.520 these are US citizens.

00:37:14.520 It's just above Guam.

00:37:16.520 The closest island

00:37:17.520 in the Northern Mariana

00:37:19.520 to Guam is about 60 miles away,

00:37:21.520 which is within a legal

00:37:23.520 boating distance.

00:37:24.520 If you've,

00:37:25.520 if you're one of the Chinese,

00:37:26.520 many, many Chinese

00:37:27.520 who come in

00:37:28.520 to the Commonwealth

00:37:29.520 of Northern Mariana

00:37:30.520 is legally without a visa.

00:37:32.520 It is still

00:37:33.520 the only part

00:37:34.520 of the United States

00:37:35.520 where Chinese

00:37:36.520 can come in

00:37:37.520 without a visa.

00:37:38.520 They're not supposed

00:37:39.520 to leave the Commonwealth

00:37:40.520 of Northern Mariana Islands,

00:37:41.520 but they are.

00:37:42.520 They're getting to Guam.

00:37:44.520 They're buying illegal,

00:37:45.520 illegally buying

00:37:46.520 US driver's licenses.

00:37:47.520 In Guam,

00:37:48.520 they've been found

00:37:49.520 on US military bases.

00:37:50.520 This is something

00:37:51.520 that has been

00:37:52.520 of great concern

00:37:53.520 to Congress

00:37:54.520 for a long time.

00:37:56.520 In November 23rd,

00:37:57.520 32 members of Congress,

00:37:59.520 including current Secretary of State,

00:38:02.520 Rubio,

00:38:03.520 wrote a letter

00:38:04.520 to then Secretary Mayorkas

00:38:06.520 saying,

00:38:07.520 close this loophole,

00:38:08.520 make it so that

00:38:09.520 every Chinese

00:38:10.520 who comes into the US

00:38:11.520 has to get a visa.

00:38:12.520 But it didn't happen.

00:38:14.520 It didn't happen.

00:38:15.520 And when the Trump administration

00:38:18.520 came in,

00:38:19.520 there was,

00:38:20.520 the Biden administration

00:38:21.520 had just put in

00:38:22.520 something called

00:38:23.520 EVS TAP,

00:38:24.520 which is basically

00:38:25.520 an online form.

00:38:26.520 So the people

00:38:27.520 who were pushing

00:38:28.520 to let Chinese

00:38:29.520 come without a visa

00:38:30.520 were saying,

00:38:31.520 don't worry about it,

00:38:32.520 we've got this enhanced vetting,

00:38:33.520 they have to do

00:38:34.520 this EVS TAP,

00:38:35.520 which can sound

00:38:36.520 quite convincing,

00:38:37.520 but when you actually

00:38:38.520 look at it,

00:38:39.520 why isn't it a visa?

00:38:41.520 Why don't they just

00:38:42.520 have to go to the embassy,

00:38:43.520 like everybody else,

00:38:45.520 or the consulate,

00:38:46.520 and apply so that

00:38:48.520 an American official

00:38:49.520 can take a look at them?

00:38:51.520 with just doing this

00:39:10.520 she sits in Congress,

00:39:11.520 she's on committees,

00:39:12.520 has been very aggressively

00:39:14.520 going around to her

00:39:15.520 congressional members

00:39:16.520 to try to convince

00:39:17.520 them to support

00:39:18.520 this EVS TAP

00:39:20.520 so that Chinese

00:39:21.520 don't have to have

00:39:22.520 a visa.

00:39:23.520 And I think you,

00:39:24.520 you found a couple

00:39:25.520 of very good clips

00:39:26.520 of her describing

00:39:27.520 how she's been getting

00:39:29.520 congressional support.

00:39:30.520 So I don't know

00:40:08.520 that gives entry

00:40:10.520 to the CNMI

00:40:11.520 from various different countries,

00:40:13.520 right?

00:40:14.520 Not just China.

00:40:15.520 And so, you know,

00:40:16.520 this additional layer

00:40:17.520 of scrutiny

00:40:18.520 was recognized

00:40:19.520 by both sides, right?

00:40:21.520 That it was something

00:40:22.520 that was needed to be done

00:40:23.520 and was negotiated

00:40:25.520 through the 902 process

00:40:26.520 during Governor Torres'

00:40:28.520 administration, right?

00:40:31.520 And that's where we,

00:40:33.520 you know, we worked

00:40:34.520 with the Trump administration.

00:40:36.520 And so that was Trump one.

00:40:37.520 Now Trump two,

00:40:38.520 they're, you know,

00:40:39.520 reviewing all these

00:40:40.520 different programs.

00:40:41.520 So that's why it was on pause.

00:40:42.520 And, you know,

00:40:43.520 there was a lot of effort

00:40:44.520 that was put into

00:40:45.520 to get them

00:40:46.520 to expedite their review

00:40:49.520 and get that program moving.

00:40:50.520 A lot of folks from Congress,

00:40:52.520 folks that you met,

00:40:54.520 you know,

00:40:55.520 as a matter of fact,

00:40:56.520 Jim Jordan,

00:40:57.520 I saw him

00:40:59.520 at a conference meeting

00:41:00.520 just before I came out

00:41:01.520 here Monday.

00:41:03.520 And, you know,

00:41:04.520 he was so excited.

00:41:06.520 As soon as he heard,

00:41:07.520 because, you know,

00:41:08.520 he's at the, as you know,

00:41:09.520 he sits on the judiciary.

00:41:10.520 So he got a direct phone call

00:41:12.520 saying, hey,

00:41:13.520 it's back online.

00:41:14.520 And he calls me

00:41:15.520 and he's like,

00:41:16.520 did you hear?

00:41:19.520 And I'm like, EVS?

00:41:20.520 And he's like, yeah.

00:41:21.520 And then he was like,

00:42:59.520 on behalf of a colleague,

00:43:00.520 but ultimately the Trump administration

00:43:02.520 decided to push the program forward.

00:43:04.520 It is not something that he is actively pushing

00:43:06.520 out of the judiciary committee.

00:43:08.520 So, um, that's the Jim Jordan position.

00:43:12.520 Um, and the question is sort of,

00:43:14.520 what is, what is behind this for somebody

00:43:17.520 in, in her position?

00:43:18.520 And I don't know if you want to play the other clip,

00:43:23.520 into, uh, some of the thinking or some of the phrasing,

00:45:09.520 I had a chat with Representative Mass out of Florida and, you know, it was recommended to me to develop a relationship with Congressman Mass because he has direct ear of the president and often travels down to Florida because the president goes down there to Mar-a-Lago, right, on Air Force One with the president.

00:45:32.520 And I went up to him and I was like, listen, you know, I hear this about you.

00:45:39.520 And, you know, coincidentally, the following day, the following day, I'm getting messages from the tour operators here on the ground that were seeing movement in terms of the processing.

00:45:52.520 And on, you know, the following morning, I had a transportation and infrastructure meeting.

00:45:56.520 So I went up and I was like, hey, I don't know if it's a coincidence, but, you know, here we are.

00:46:04.520 And what he tells me is that, listen, we're not anti-China.

00:46:10.520 You know, there's a clear differentiation between national security concerns and wanting money.

00:46:17.520 And what this is about at the end of the day is money.

00:46:25.520 I think there, Cleo, another sort of interesting moment of the mask dropping.

00:46:29.520 They think they're just talking on some show, but there's an interesting tell there where it's like they are targeting people because of their proximity and influence to President Trump.

00:46:38.520 I think the operative question there being like, who is they?

00:46:42.520 She doesn't really specify.

00:46:43.520 I think you and I can probably fill in that blank.

00:46:46.520 But can you sort of explain how this is like a pattern that is more broadly replicated even down to the level of personnel infiltration in the Trump administration?

00:46:56.520 Well, this has been a consistent problem.

00:46:58.520 And the other thing that that was highlighted in that great Tyler O'Neill Daily Signal piece is what he was actually writing about was this man called Angel Demapan, who was her former legislative director, who has now been appointed deputy assistant secretary for insular and international affairs in the Department of Interior.

00:47:21.520 Now, that doesn't sound like a very important position, but it actually is core to hemispheric defense.

00:47:28.520 The Department of Interior oversees Guam, the Commonwealth of Northern Marianas, Palau, Federated States of Micronesia and Marshall Islands.

00:47:38.520 These are this is this whole center of the Pacific.

00:47:41.520 That's what's between Hawaii and the Philippines and onward to Japan.

00:47:47.520 That whole core of the Pacific falls under the Department of Interior for historic reasons.

00:47:52.520 And this is now this guy who, according to the reporting by Tyler O'Neill, the FEC found that he took money from at least two Chinese companies when he was running as a politician in the Commonwealth of Northern Marianas.

00:48:08.340 One of them, a major Chinese casino that was running billions of dollars through the CNMI economy, through the Marianas economy, and the other one with that classic name, Honest Profit.

00:48:20.640 You've always got to trust a company called Honest Profit, a Chinese company, had both and others contributed to his election campaign.

00:48:29.500 And FEC found him guilty of that, but because of the statute of limitations, didn't pursue the case.

00:48:39.280 He was also the chief of staff to the previous governor before Governor Palacios, under his administration about $1.6 billion of federal funding hasn't been properly accounted for.

00:48:53.400 And remember, this is a location that has a population of about 45,000 people.

00:48:57.460 This is a lot of money, highly strategic location.

00:49:01.300 There was a Senate Armed Services Committee, congressional delegation in Tinian, which is part of Commonwealth of Northern Marianas, yesterday, looking at the new installations that are going in on Northfield that will be critical to hemispheric defense.

00:49:15.060 Highly strategic, very small population, large amounts of Chinese money flowing through directly into the pockets of local politicians,

00:49:23.020 one of whom is now the face of the Trump administration in one of the most strategically important locations for U.S. national defense.

00:49:31.320 So where do we stand on the personnel front?

00:49:38.160 Have we seen any movement?

00:49:40.320 I saw the Warren Posse lighting up a lot of these members of Congress, but I haven't seen any retractions.

00:49:45.920 I think in that Daily Signal article you mentioned, it seemed like, I think it was the NELS office, basically doubled down in their support for it.

00:49:53.740 So have we seen any movement?

00:49:56.940 No.

00:49:57.700 I mean, I think that, as you know better than anybody, Congress is a little bit like high school.

00:50:04.060 And she was the new girl.

00:50:06.880 She got elected this term.

00:50:09.460 And, you know, I don't want to denigrate a, you know, a hardworking female politician.

00:50:13.980 But that's if you're using that analogy of it being like high school.

00:50:17.800 So she came in.

00:50:18.940 Nobody really knew who she was.

00:50:20.780 She tells a good story.

00:50:22.480 It was very convincing.

00:50:24.140 And she basically burned a bunch of colleagues.

00:50:26.920 She's a Republican.

00:50:28.080 And she has made it so that Jim Jordan, Brian Mast, NELS are getting very uncomfortable calls about, like what you said.

00:50:39.360 You say you're tough on China, but you're supporting a program that lets Chinese into the U.S. without a visa.

00:50:44.600 So I think she's going to find her return to Congress a little bit less warm and fuzzy than her initial introduction to Congress.

00:50:51.720 There was a congressional delegation that was supposed to go out from the small business in August that has been postponed.

00:50:58.140 So I don't know what's happening behind the scenes.

00:51:01.560 But what there really needs to be is a Treasury investigation into what happened to that $1.6 billion of U.S. taxpayer money, because it certainly didn't go to benefit the people of the Commonwealth of Northern Marianas.

00:51:15.140 Their economy is in shambles.

00:51:16.880 They could have really used that money for rebuilding.

00:51:19.580 So that's nobody quite knows where it is.

00:51:22.400 And now that Governor Palacios has passed away, he was really holding the front line for for all of us, for America.

00:51:28.660 And you're starting to see things like they've announced the resumption of direct flights from Hong Kong to the Commonwealth of Northern Marianas.

00:51:37.660 She that that same member of Congress is pushing for reinstatement of Annex six of the U.S.-China transport agreement, which would allow unlimited flights from mainland China on Chinese carriers into the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands.

00:51:54.800 Again, this is the United States and into Guam and into Guam.

00:51:57.900 Annex six allows those direct flights to go into Guam as well.

00:52:01.400 So there's this undermining of U.S. security everywhere returned that defunct casino that was running billions of dollars.

00:52:09.260 Its assets were just purchased by another very shady company that looks like it also has ties to China.

00:52:15.220 And every single day you see headlines in in the newspaper in the Marianas of things like a Chinese drug dealer who is importing methamphetamine and lava lamps, other Chinese drug dealers who are selling meth near elementary schools.

00:52:33.080 The former chief of parole was found guilty of theft.
