Bannon's War Room - Episode 4738： Minneapolis Shooter Identified; Truth Behind Gun Free Zones

00:00:00.000 Anybody who is using this as an, using this as an opportunity to villainize our trans

00:00:18.420 community or any other community out there has lost their sense of common humanity.

00:00:26.080 We should not be operating out of a place of hate for anyone.

00:00:31.020 We should be operating from a place of love for our kids.

00:00:36.820 Minnesota ranks the highest per capita for being a safe haven for transgender individuals

00:00:41.260 in Minnesota.

00:00:42.760 And can I just say, we can talk about economic growth and feeding children and growing the

00:00:51.200 economy and creating jobs simultaneously with talking about everybody's human rights matters

00:00:55.960 and we shouldn't be penalizing them.

00:00:57.840 You can do both.

00:00:59.360 Would you also like to get federal funding to help put 5,000 more cops on the street in

00:01:07.280 Chicago?

00:01:07.860 Would that help drive down crime?

00:01:10.280 Well, look, policing by itself is not the full strategy.

00:01:13.440 No, I understand that.

00:01:14.460 You've talked about the other things you want.

00:01:16.680 And I said, those are good and important programs.

00:01:20.140 But I'm asking also, would 5,000 more police officers on the street in Chicago be helpful

00:01:27.340 to go along with all of those social programs that a lot of cities are engaging in and having

00:01:32.860 success with?

00:01:34.460 Well, look, here's the best way I can put it, Joe, is that in the 90s when I was in high

00:01:39.420 school, we had 3,000 more police officers and we had 900 people being murdered every single

00:01:45.000 year in Chicago.

00:01:46.160 It's just not policing alone.

00:01:47.940 Of course we want more detectives.

00:01:49.840 I know it's not policing alone, but I know it's not policing alone.

00:01:54.080 You've told me everything else you want.

00:01:56.040 I'm curious, and this does come down to an ideological difference between people.

00:02:03.300 Do you believe that the streets of Chicago would be safer if there were more uniformed

00:02:10.000 police officers on the streets of Chicago?

00:02:13.060 I believe the city of Chicago and cities across America would be safer if we actually had,

00:02:19.040 you know, affordable housing.

00:02:21.560 Look, I'm not saying that we don't...

00:02:22.880 That's not the question I ask.

00:02:23.840 My question is, and I just need to answer a no, do you believe the streets of Chicago

00:02:29.500 would be safer if you got all of those other extraordinary programs put back into place,

00:02:36.420 which do have a history of being successful, if that's complemented by having 5,000 more

00:02:44.960 cops on the streets of Chicago?

00:02:48.160 I don't believe that we should narrow it down to just police officers, Joe, is what I'm saying.

00:02:53.560 That is an antiquated approach.

00:02:55.220 I'm saying we've invested in detectives.

00:02:56.980 Are you hearing what I'm saying?

00:02:58.320 I'm agreeing with you that all of these other social programs are extraordinarily important.

00:03:03.280 I just need a yes or a no, and then this will be the last time I ask.

00:03:07.180 If you get all of those other social programs that...

00:03:11.140 800 million.

00:03:11.900 That 800 million, that New York City does, Los Angeles, other people do, with great success.

00:03:19.080 And I think that's enough of that.

00:03:21.220 I know we call Democrats soft on crime, but I think, full stop, we can just call them pro-crime

00:03:26.800 because apparently now, although I guess they've always hated police officers, now they're

00:03:30.720 very okay with saying that.

00:03:32.340 On MSNBC, of all places, you are in the War Room.

00:03:35.620 It is Wednesday, August 27th in the year of our Lord, 2025.

00:03:40.300 Had a whole show planned for you, but with the breaking news coming out of Minnesota, I wanted

00:03:45.320 to dedicate a lot of our time to what is really going on there, obviously because the shooter's

00:03:51.200 identity doesn't fit the legacy media's narrative.

00:03:54.320 Predictably, a lot of the social media accounts and surrounding details have been wiped.

00:03:59.240 I'm sure it'll be another Thomas Matthew Crooks situation.

00:04:02.620 I don't see the same impetus to get to the bottom of anything there. 0.75

00:04:06.160 Instead, you saw that clown, that sham of a mayor, Jacob Fry, I believe is his name,

00:04:12.120 who opened the cold, talking about how you, the War Room Posse, the viewers of the show, 0.79

00:04:18.300 are not allowed to use what happened, like I said today, at a Catholic school, we're going

00:04:23.620 to get into the details, as anything to promote transphobia or anti-transgenderism hate.

00:04:30.400 Well, bro, you missed the point.

00:04:31.700 The hate crime that happened was not this audience or not people who've been sounding the alarm 0.95

00:04:35.920 about the mental illness that is transgenderism, a.k.a. dysphoria.

00:04:40.480 It's what happened this morning.

00:04:43.200 Robin Westman shot and killed two children, including injuring 17 others, at a Catholic

00:04:49.320 school during mass in Minneapolis.

00:04:52.560 And I think we can call this what it actually is.

00:04:56.540 Not going to use the nice euphemistic terms that the media will use, even if they dare

00:05:00.380 to touch the story.

00:05:01.560 This is essentially domestic terrorism, if not a hate crime.

00:05:05.020 And I hate that word has been so watered down by those on the left, the SPLC, the ACLU.

00:05:09.740 You name it.

00:05:10.920 This is motivated by hate, very clearly motivated by anti-Christian hate.

00:05:16.740 Even in some cases on, I believe, one of the barrels or one of the chambers he had written, 0.61

00:05:21.100 Kill Trump Now, writing, Where is Your God?

00:05:25.540 You know, I know we're told so much that language matters and pronouns matter from the side that 0.99

00:05:31.220 supports and promotes people who commit atrocities like this.

00:05:35.200 Well, I don't really think pronouns matter.

00:05:37.760 I think terminology matters about what you determine a school shooting to be.

00:05:42.860 And it's a domestic terrorist incident.

00:05:44.920 I know we had no issue classifying anything January 6th related like that.

00:05:49.320 But this is really, frankly, 10 times worse.

00:05:52.780 But why I did that juxtaposition in the cold, not just a time juxtaposition between Tim Waltz

00:06:00.060 and what we saw happen today, but also between what is just the absolute degeneracy and chaos

00:06:05.060 going on in Democrat states and cities. 0.91

00:06:07.480 You see the Chicago mayor, maybe even more of a clown than Jacob Fry, who can't even say 0.67

00:06:12.660 that I actually think deploying police to the streets of Chicago. 0.87

00:06:15.580 Chicago, that's right, Chicago, what is it, worse than, I think, Iraq and Afghanistan maybe 1.00

00:06:22.300 combined in just a weekend alone.

00:06:24.380 But apparently no cops there.

00:06:26.140 It's not woke enough for that wonderful mayor.

00:06:29.160 I guess he's better than Lori Lightfoot, but not by much.

00:06:33.300 But I think it's worth noting there's been a lot of, as you can imagine, reporting into

00:06:37.160 the state of affairs when it comes to the issue of transgenderism in the great state of Minnesota.

00:06:42.320 It was actually Tim Waltz who was flagged, if you can believe it or not, in 2023 by the

00:06:48.100 head of Minnesota's Catholic schools.

00:06:49.860 I believe he penned a long op-ed saying that school safety was being compromised, particularly

00:06:55.160 at the hands of these radical gender activists, this just anti-Catholic, anti-Christian sentiment

00:07:00.420 that had been fomenting not just across the country, but particularly under the leadership

00:07:04.420 of Governor Waltz.

00:07:06.420 And do you know what his answer was?

00:07:07.980 Well, it was probably an awkward clap, but it was also not just to do nothing.

00:07:13.200 That would have been better.

00:07:14.120 He actually declared Minnesota to be a trans refuge.

00:07:18.040 That's right.

00:07:18.780 Stripping parents of all rights to their kids if they decide one day that they want to become

00:07:22.940 a trans student, even at the ripe age of three, that you can't veto that.

00:07:28.860 You have to go along with it.

00:07:30.900 And I think this goes back to what we have always said, this is a battle between good

00:07:36.040 and evil.

00:07:37.180 It's not Democrat or Republican.

00:07:39.120 I think Trump was the forcing function to prove the break of that party system.

00:07:44.300 But this is about people who are just pro-humanity and anti-humanity, who support death, who think

00:07:50.120 it's okay to kill people because they're Christians or think that we need to condone and outright 1.00

00:07:54.820 support the crazy gender transition of people who take drugs that make them even crazier than 1.00

00:08:00.460 they are and start shooting up schools. 0.95

00:08:03.400 Frankly, I would rather add that we don't just need mass deportations.

00:08:07.560 We probably need mass detransitions. 0.99

00:08:10.180 Or certainly, we need to play much harder with these states that receive federal funding

00:08:14.680 that are supporting this type of hormones altering and the puberty blockers, whatever euphemistic

00:08:20.560 term they want to whitewash it as, shouldn't be receiving your tax dollars, let alone when

00:08:25.660 all their state officials are going to go up and hit the sticks to say that there's no

00:08:30.880 issue with the transgender community.

00:08:32.980 They're just great.

00:08:33.720 It's actually you.

00:08:34.560 It's MAGA.

00:08:35.320 It's the right-wing Christian zealots, the Christian nationalists that are responsible for 0.98

00:08:40.620 this.

00:08:41.800 No, you guys are the ones with blood on your hands.

00:08:44.020 You're not going to spin this.

00:08:45.560 And we're definitely going to keep digging into Robin W.

00:08:48.640 I think that was the online name that the manifesto was posted under.

00:08:53.800 I want to go to Brandon Showalter.

00:08:55.720 I just waxed on probably way too long, but I hate being lied to, although I guess they're

00:09:00.560 Democrats, so I can't expect much more.

00:09:03.100 But the transgender issue in Minnesota, they're pretty radical.

00:09:08.340 With Tim Walts at the forefront, can you just sort of talk about your general assessment

00:09:12.440 of what happened today, but just how systemic failures, maybe failures is too nice a word,

00:09:17.820 but this intentional promotion of the transgender ideology, let us hear.

00:09:24.180 Fascinating question, Natalie, and thanks for having me.

00:09:27.180 It really is so disturbing, and first things first, heart goes out to all the families who

00:09:31.160 are suffering, who've lost their kids and family members today in that horrific massacre.

00:09:34.720 The state of Minnesota functions as kind of the trans hub of the Midwest.

00:09:41.460 I really put it alongside the West Coast states, which I consider the epicenter of trans ideology

00:09:47.080 in terms of both the medical practices that are happening out there.

00:09:51.700 I mean, yes, we've seen pushback from the Trump administration now with executive orders

00:09:54.760 and federal agency action against this.

00:09:56.520 But Tim Walts, the governor of Minnesota, and Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan have both

00:10:01.820 championed transgenderism very effusively. 0.99

00:10:05.440 And I was watching the cold open there with Mayor Frye talking about the hatred toward the

00:10:11.300 trans community.

00:10:12.900 Natalie, I think that just goes to show how utterly out of touch people are.

00:10:17.100 When you do see the Covenant School massacre, where it was a transgender-identified shooter who

00:10:21.920 killed all those children at that Christian school. 0.99

00:10:23.440 And now you see this, and there have been other shootings where these deeply disturbed,

00:10:28.120 confused people have carried out these horrific crimes. 0.94

00:10:31.280 I'm not going to make the correlation causation fallacy and say that the hormones of the blockers

00:10:35.620 caused psychiatric distress and then that caused the shooting.

00:10:39.080 No, we're all individuals.

00:10:40.300 We all are capable of doing evil. 0.95

00:10:42.740 But I just would wonder, if a white Christian had gone to a LGBT activist meeting and killed 0.62

00:10:49.520 a bunch of people, would Mayor Frye have said those things about the hatred towards the 0.96

00:10:54.440 Christian community?

00:10:55.600 I don't think so.

00:10:56.780 This is a death cult dogma that has captured the minds of most purportedly mainstream democratic

00:11:02.680 politicians such that they fall over themselves and go out of their way to make sure that we

00:11:08.140 just don't hurt the feelings of these poor darling trans activists that, meanwhile, as they 0.93

00:11:13.380 rampage and commit horrific acts of violence, they're just so careful that we don't hate them.

00:11:18.540 Nothing could be further from the truth.

00:11:20.400 I, as a Christian, I have no hatred in my heart for, you know, genuinely confused people. 0.99

00:11:26.680 What I do despise and what I think most Americans despise is this nihilistic ideology that is full

00:11:32.840 of death and destruction.

00:11:34.000 And if people can stomach it, I know Champagne Joshi has this, the full video, the 11-minute

00:11:39.060 video that has since been deleted from YouTube of the shooter.

00:11:43.180 This is just a cult of death. 0.98

00:11:44.640 He hated Christians. 1.00

00:11:45.480 He hated Jews. 0.99

00:11:46.120 He had a target body with Jesus' face pinned on it. 0.99

00:11:50.000 He had Kill Trump on his magazine. 0.98

00:11:52.100 He hated Israel. 1.00

00:11:53.120 He hated gays. 1.00

00:11:53.880 He hated religion. 1.00

00:11:55.000 It's a cult of death.

00:11:57.080 And so that ideology, that mindset has consumed the Democratic Party's mind in terms of what

00:12:04.340 they value most.

00:12:05.640 And I couldn't help but notice also that old picture, this was taken a few years ago.

00:12:09.780 It may have been when they were declaring trans, Minnesota a trans refuge state, or maybe it

00:12:15.780 was some other policy.

00:12:17.000 Either way, Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan wearing a t-shirt saying, protect trans kids 0.55

00:12:22.600 complete with a knife blade on it.

00:12:24.440 So it goes to show you what their priorities are and how quickly they fall over themselves

00:12:29.220 to promote transgenderism, even in the wake of a school shooting where Christian children

00:12:34.420 are murdered at prayer.

00:12:35.640 That's how high this goes.

00:12:37.000 And I just don't think that the same would be true if the shoe were on the other foot.

00:12:41.100 It's a mania.

00:12:42.860 It's a dogma that has captured the minds of the Democratic Party at the very top.

00:12:47.120 And until they learn that, and until they see what a cult dogma it is, I don't think

00:12:51.040 their political fortunes are going to change.

00:12:53.420 But really, this isn't even about that.

00:12:55.420 Today, we should be focused on the families who have endured their worst nightmare.

00:13:00.160 But it really is shameful to see transgenderism even be brought up as something we need to

00:13:06.100 protect in the wake of such a shooting.

00:13:07.840 I hope they get to the bottom of this, and I give my best regards to the law enforcement

00:13:11.540 who are doing the investigating now.

00:13:14.760 Well, yeah.

00:13:15.460 I mean, if it had been a white male, you know, privileged, I'm sure that's how they would

00:13:19.700 describe it, shooter, they'd probably have a live feed in the corner.

00:13:23.400 If not providing live commentary, they'd have a special report tonight on MSNBC, CNN, ABC.

00:13:28.980 And I would condemn it in the strongest of terms.

00:13:31.300 I would condemn it in the strongest of terms.

00:13:33.580 I mean, there's nothing remotely Christian about shooting up a—I mean, it's just—you're 1.00

00:13:39.020 so right.

00:13:39.780 And people notice the double standard here.

00:13:44.540 And can you talk a little bit more about the manifesto?

00:13:46.960 As far as I'm aware, I haven't seen any of the legacy media outlets even get within a

00:13:51.160 10-mile radius of talking about some of the things that he said.

00:13:55.780 It seems like it's really just been on X.

00:13:57.480 Well, X is what I've been familiar with, and that 11-minute video that I just referenced,

00:14:03.500 if people do—I mean, you want to pop an antacid and try to get through it, it's absolutely

00:14:07.120 brutal.

00:14:08.220 We, as—if you're a Christian and you're watching this, you need to pray on your knees

00:14:12.340 for deliverance from evil, because this is besieging the younger generation.

00:14:17.020 It is a cult of death.

00:14:18.060 It is demonic.

00:14:18.800 I've had non-religious people say to me that they're not even sure that they believe in

00:14:22.460 God.

00:14:22.680 But when their kids get involved in this gender confusion stuff, it convinces them that 0.91

00:14:26.460 there's demonic spirits at work in the world.

00:14:28.080 I mean, there's something about this wickedness that drives them to the edge of their sanity,

00:14:32.000 to the end of themselves.

00:14:33.540 And I think people just really need to pray.

00:14:35.560 Yes, the manifesto and the video will not surprise you, but it's particularly disturbing

00:14:39.920 in this case.

00:14:41.120 And, Brandon, we're coming up against a break.

00:14:43.620 If people want to stay up to date with this story, where can they go to follow you and

00:14:46.880 get more of your analysis?

00:14:47.760 X on Twitter, at Brandon M. Show, and we'll be reporting on it at the Christian Post for

00:14:54.740 sure, ChristianPost.com.

00:14:55.800 Thank you, sir.

00:16:57.360 Continue divide between Trump and the Federal Reserve putting us behind the curve again.

00:17:01.120 Can the Fed take the right action at the right time?

00:17:03.020 Or are we going to be looking at a potential economic slowdown?

00:17:05.700 And what does this mean for your savings?

00:17:07.660 Consider diversifying with gold through Birch Gold Group.

00:17:10.200 For decades, gold has been viewed as a safe haven in times of economic stagnation,

00:17:14.080 global uncertainty, and high inflation.

00:17:15.980 And Birch Gold makes it incredibly easy for you to diversify some of your savings into gold.

00:17:20.340 If you have an IRA or old 401k,

00:17:22.160 you can convert that into a tax-sheltered IRA in physical gold,

00:17:25.360 or just buy some gold to keep in your safe.

00:17:27.640 First, get educated.

00:17:28.920 Birch Gold will send you a free info kit on gold just by texting Bannon to the number 989898.

00:17:34.820 Again, Bannon to 989898.

00:17:37.880 Consider diversifying a portion of your savings into gold.

00:17:40.580 That way, if the Fed can't stay ahead of the curve for the country,

00:17:43.120 at least you can stay ahead for yourself.

00:17:45.580 Welcome back to the War Room.

00:17:48.940 Honored to be joined by the brilliant John Lott,

00:17:53.100 who I think single-handedly may be responsible for creating some of the most powerful data

00:17:57.660 to debunk what is it the, I think, left's always very quick knee-jerk reaction

00:18:03.080 to any time there's a shooting to scream gun control,

00:18:05.880 although this time it was fused with, you know, protect the transgenderism cult.

00:18:09.720 But I'm just curious, you know, your thoughts in terms of these gun control laws,

00:18:14.640 the left's kind of go-to argumentation.

00:18:17.320 I think we've even sort of seen it here, saying that, you know,

00:18:21.240 oh, we need stricter gun laws.

00:18:22.680 I'm sure Tim Walts is probably already pushing that, just how wrong they are.

00:18:28.520 Sure.

00:18:29.080 Well, thanks for having me on.

00:18:30.480 Look, the ones I've heard, the first one I've heard was background checks.

00:18:35.740 You could have had, they're talking about background checks on the private transfers of guns.

00:18:40.060 It's not even clear that that would be relevant for this case.

00:18:43.100 But the thing is, even if we had had such laws in effect and they had been perfectly enforced,

00:18:49.000 there's not one mass public shooting this century that would have been stopped.

00:18:54.180 You know, we also hear about assault weapons bans.

00:18:57.460 You look at, first of all, we don't even know an assault weapon was used in this case.

00:19:02.660 But you look at the last 25 years or so, 15% of the attacks involved a rifle of any type.

00:19:12.140 And the thing is, there's no difference in terms of their ability to go and do the attack

00:19:16.720 between that and some other semi-automatic gun.

00:19:20.160 You know, they all fire one bullet per pull of the trigger.

00:19:23.680 You know, an AR-15 is like a small caliber hunting rifle, semi-automatic hunting rifle.

00:19:32.620 It fires the same bullets with the same rapidity.

00:19:35.800 You know, the big difference there is the outsized cosmetics, what it looks like on the outside.

00:19:41.420 And just to go and ban guns primarily based on how they look and has nothing to do with how they function

00:19:47.780 has never been obvious to me.

00:19:49.260 But here's the bottom line, and that is, I want to do something.

00:19:53.280 I don't want to, I want to do something that actually matters, that's related.

00:19:57.620 And one thing that you see time after time in these mass public shootings is that these

00:20:03.560 attackers go to places where their victims aren't able to defend themselves.

00:20:07.660 They go to these gun-free zones.

00:20:10.400 We don't know everything with this individual yet by far.

00:20:13.560 But time after time in their diaries and manifestos, these mass murderers explain in detail

00:20:20.800 why they pick the targets that they do.

00:20:23.780 But the media refuses, absolutely refuses to go and talk about those parts of their diaries

00:20:30.180 and manifestos.

00:20:31.580 And what do they go after?

00:20:33.200 They go after gun-free zones because their goal is to get media attention.

00:20:38.060 And they know the more media attention they're going to be able to get, the more people they 0.52

00:20:43.980 kill.

00:20:44.760 And so if they go to a place where their victims are defenseless, they're going to be able to 0.99

00:20:48.360 go and kill more people and get more media attention.

00:20:51.960 So, you know, in Minnesota, it's a crime for you, anybody, even somebody with a concealed 0.92

00:20:59.460 carry permit, to take a gun onto school property.

00:21:02.980 Uh, you know, so let's say this individual had lived, they killed two people, wounded

00:21:10.420 something like 17 others, you know, they'd be facing many life sentences in jail for all

00:21:16.600 those crimes that they committed.

00:21:18.500 Do you think taking two years away from maybe their sixth life or their seventh life is going

00:21:23.840 to make it so, okay, well, I can live with six life sentences, but you take two more years

00:21:29.720 from my seventh life and that's going to stop me from committing the crime.

00:21:33.460 The point for law-abiding citizens, though, if you or I were to go and become a felon and

00:21:41.520 have to spend years in jail, our lives would be completely changed.

00:21:46.120 You know, it would completely destroy our lives.

00:21:48.960 That would be a massive penalty.

00:21:51.120 And so what you've done is, however unintentionally, and I can believe the desire was to try to create

00:21:56.280 a safe area there, what you've ended up doing is passing a law that makes it clear that the

00:22:02.720 only person that's going to have a gun there is going to be the bad guy who wants to go and

00:22:08.380 do harm.

00:22:08.900 And so these gun-free zones actually serve as magnets for these attacks.

00:22:15.440 There's a reason why something like 92% of the mass public shootings take place in these

00:22:20.840 gun-free zones because it makes it easier for these people to go and be the only person with

00:22:27.400 a gun to go and kill people.

00:22:30.480 And I guess you can extrapolate that out to D.C., right? 0.79

00:22:34.240 A city where it's essentially impossible to own a gun, no one to ride.

00:22:38.040 The crime rate is so high.

00:22:39.760 And I guess another thing the media won't touch, how that is actually going down, at least from

00:22:44.820 the homicide, assault, burglary perspective over the last, I guess now about around two

00:22:49.420 weeks.

00:22:50.280 I'm curious, your perspective, how you think President Trump's D.C.

00:22:54.240 crackdown, as we're told it is, is going from a data perspective.

00:22:59.620 I think it's going extremely well.

00:23:02.640 Look, again, it's just this notion, if you want to stop crime, you have to make it risky

00:23:07.620 for criminals to commit crime.

00:23:08.900 And you can do that by allowing victims to be able to go and defend themselves, as you were

00:23:14.160 mentioning, but you can also do it by making it riskier through higher arrest rates, higher

00:23:19.260 conviction rates, longer prison sentences.

00:23:22.120 And the president is dealing with all of those different issues that are there.

00:23:28.320 And so, you know, we have about 1,300 law enforcement officers or patrol officers in D.C.

00:23:39.600 So that means about 400 are on duty at any point in time.

00:23:42.800 And, you know, that's for a district of 721,000 people.

00:23:50.060 You can understand why the police union complains about being stressed incredibly thin.

00:23:55.400 They're like 800 officers short of where they should be.

00:23:58.600 So when Trump puts over 500 FBI and ICE and DEA agents out on the street, when he has over 800

00:24:06.660 National Guard officers out there, that's essentially more than doubling the number

00:24:14.020 of patrol officers that you have.

00:24:15.920 And so the mayor just announced in D.C. that there's been an 87 percent drop in carjackings.

00:24:22.200 There's been something like a 24 percent drop in violent crime that's there.

00:24:27.580 You know, these are huge drops.

00:24:29.660 But, you know, the biggest change has probably been with regard to homicides.

00:24:34.340 If you take the rate of homicides last year, OK, in 2024, the odds that you could go 13 days,

00:24:43.620 which they just did, without a homicide, is one in 800.

00:24:48.780 That's incredibly low.

00:24:50.460 And the other thing that just drives me crazy with regard to the Democrats, because they claim 0.89

00:24:55.480 that they care about the poor, that they care about blacks.

00:24:59.820 The latest data that we have is for 2021. 0.96

00:25:04.160 And what you find is that 96 percent of those who were murdered are blacks.

00:25:11.580 And so, you know, they claim black lives matter, but apparently they don't matter when it's 1.00

00:25:18.440 Trump that's enacting a policy to go and save them.

00:25:24.120 And, John, just give me a minute.

00:25:26.180 We saw the Chicago mayor basically saying we don't want, you know, increased police presence,

00:25:32.020 police force here.

00:25:32.960 Or what are your thoughts on his rationale?

00:25:37.720 Well, it's like so many of these other Democrats.

00:25:40.340 He just refuses to go and do the obvious things to go and make it risky for criminals to go and

00:25:46.660 commit crime.

00:25:48.020 You know, he wants to go and claim that basically crime is due to poverty that's there.

00:25:55.040 You know, the empirical work that academics have done indicates that you can explain about

00:26:00.440 55 percent of the variation in crime rates due to law enforcement type things, higher arrest rates,

00:26:09.080 conviction rates, prison sentences, the death penalty.

00:26:12.120 Only a couple percent of the variation in crime rates can be explained by anything that has to do

00:26:18.860 with poverty or unemployment or incomes or any of those types of other factors that are there.

00:26:26.660 Age obviously has distribution.

00:26:30.480 Other demographics have things to do with it, but not poverty.

00:26:34.700 So, you know, the fact that he just can't get it out that, yeah, we need to have more police and having having, you know,

00:26:45.140 5,000 more police as Joe Scarborough was asking about.

00:26:49.720 It's just, you know, for him to say, not be willing to say, yeah, having 5,000 more police would make a real dent in terms of crime.

00:26:57.760 Look, in Chicago, in many recent years, you've had arrest rates for murder that have been in the teens below 20 percent.

00:27:08.000 And that's just the arrests.

00:27:09.560 Many of those individuals weren't being prosecuted by the Soros-type district attorney for Cook County.

00:27:16.520 And even when they were prosecuted, not all of them were convicted.

00:27:20.680 And it may be in the teens, but that's on average for the hard ones to go after are the gang shootings.

00:27:30.600 There's the ones it's hard to get people to be able to go and be willing to testify in, to come forward.

00:27:37.160 And the thing is, when you have such low rates of arrest and prosecution and conviction, that makes it hard for people to be willing to come forward because they think to themselves,

00:27:50.860 geez, I come forward, I say that I saw something, and nothing happens to these guys, and I just risk going and getting mad at me.

00:28:01.240 Against the break, I know the audience is going to want to get access to all of your data and analysis.

00:28:06.520 Before we have you back on, where can they go to do that and follow you?

00:29:36.680 Here's your host, Stephen K.

00:29:39.840 Is the continued divide between Trump and the Federal Reserve putting us behind the curve again?

00:29:49.040 Can the Fed take the right action at the right time?

00:29:51.000 Or are we going to be looking at a potential economic slowdown?

00:29:53.480 And what does this mean for your savings?

00:29:55.320 Consider diversifying with gold through Birch Gold Group.

00:29:57.800 For decades, gold has been viewed as a safe haven in times of economic stagnation, global uncertainty, and high inflation.

00:30:03.100 And Birch Gold makes it incredibly easy for you to diversify some of your savings into gold.

00:30:07.540 If you have an IRA or old 401k, you can convert that into a tax-sheltered IRA in physical gold or just buy some gold to keep in your safe.

00:30:14.940 First, get educated.

00:30:16.040 Birch Gold will send you a free info kit on gold.

00:30:18.060 Just text Bannon to 989898.

00:30:21.120 Again, Bannon to 989898.

00:30:23.820 Consider diversifying a portion of your savings into gold.

00:30:26.320 That way, if the Fed can't stay ahead of the curve for the country, at least you can stay ahead for yourself.

00:30:30.540 Welcome back to The War Room.

00:30:33.340 We are joined by Mike Benz, who you are, I guess, in an undisclosed location.

00:30:39.000 I won't dox you.

00:30:40.360 But you just presented to the State Policy Network talking about media literacy, all these sort of euphemistic terms, how they're coming after our kids with a lot of these programs.

00:30:51.680 Can you just give us a few minutes on what you're talking about and how it links back?

00:30:54.980 We got the tweet.

00:30:55.840 We can put the picture up on screen to a lot of this USAID stuff.

00:30:58.660 Yes.

00:31:00.600 So this is the media literacy scam.

00:31:03.880 This is something that you've pointed out.

00:31:05.620 I think that tweet of yours has 34 million views on it, where you pointed out Biden's declassified internet censorship plan relying on USAID to, quote, combat online disinformation by promoting, quote, media literacy.

00:31:18.180 You'll also see on that list in that screenshot, DHS, the Department of Education, the State Department, and USAID.

00:31:26.240 So that's four different federal government agencies, all providing funding, grant money, and using, quote, digital literacy as a way to, quote, combat online disinformation.

00:31:37.040 Now, this goes back to the 2016 election of President Donald Trump and the, quote, fake news epidemic that the blob said was responsible for his win.

00:31:48.600 So what the blob oriented at that time was to revive effectively an old, sleepy, mostly dead field called media literacy and redefine it to mean that media literacy is a way to combat mis and disinformation,

00:32:07.500 to take this kind of existing concept and use it as a predicate to launch a censorship operation within U.S. schools at the state and local level.

00:32:18.300 And the way it works is this, while parents and members of parent-teacher associations or state assemblies think that media literacy means they're teaching your kids how to read the media,

00:32:35.240 what they really mean is if you don't read the right media sources, you are illiterate and need to get your mind right.

00:32:42.320 And so this has become the de facto way of creating blacklists in order to block access to or the ability to cite news or information that comes from alternative news sources,

00:32:55.540 basically anyone who's not the New York Times or the Washington Post, in schools all over the country.

00:33:01.000 And they have spammed this weapon up to the hilt.

00:33:03.640 Twelve states have now made, quote, media literacy, a mandatory course in K-12 schools and have mandatory media literacy education tech firms like Newzella and NewsGuard installed in school Wi-Fis and school devices.

00:33:25.880 So this basically blocks the ability to listen to the conversation we're having right now.

00:33:31.680 And this was actually part of Norm Eisen's playbook as well.

00:33:35.380 Natalie, if you can believe it, that 2025 Democracy Playbook from Norm Eisen published in January this year called for a huge push on, quote,

00:33:44.920 digital literacy in schools and in the private sector and for more money to flow into the space.

00:33:51.480 And until the time of our speaking, there has not been a single punching back.

00:33:57.220 But I am proud to present to you today model legislation.

00:34:01.080 I have a spinny chair, so I'm going to do a ceremonial spin in the spinny chair.

00:34:06.840 I propose model legislation to completely blow this concept up.

00:34:11.780 Twelve states have made it illegal to not have mandatory state brainwashing through media literacy.

00:34:18.880 I want 27 states to make it illegal to do it in the state.

00:34:22.960 The same way this was done with the 1619 project and critical race theory and DEI, the same can be done on the media literacy.

00:34:32.040 All of these contracts that are effectively forced onto these school systems to contract out to these media literacy firms,

00:34:40.820 well, they're not going to be able to do that if states pass this model legislation.

00:34:45.080 And I'm very excited at the prospect of being able to take our schools back.

00:34:50.680 Mike Benz, I think I say thank you on behalf of the entire War Room Posse.

00:34:57.180 That's great to be doing legislation at a state level to keep our classrooms free of all this very scary stuff.

00:35:03.140 Imagine if people couldn't watch War Room.

00:35:05.320 It would be a much worse world.

00:35:08.020 We've got a packed show.

00:35:09.140 You know, I usually keep you longer, but we've got to get to some stuff in Texas and stuff in China.

00:35:13.520 So in the meantime, if people want to follow you, maybe read this legislation, where can they go to do that?

00:35:18.500 Follow me on X at Mike Benz Cyber.

00:35:21.580 Check out our foundation website, foundationforfreedomonline.com.

00:35:25.220 Video archives for my work is also available on Rumble and YouTube.

00:35:30.120 Mike Benz, as always, thank you.

00:35:32.980 Excellent.

00:35:33.300 Speaking of, I guess, both Michael's and state level legislation, I'm honored to bring on Michael Lucci of State Armor, who you guys do great work when it comes to combating the threat that is the Chinese Communist Party. 0.99

00:35:47.840 But really, from a nuanced level, you get down to the nitty gritty, whether it's the influence ops, the sister cities, the United Frontward Department, the sort of euphemistic charm offensive.

00:35:58.640 You're saying not not on our watch.

00:36:00.400 So thank you.

00:36:01.600 But before we get into the sort of Chinese student stuff, obviously, there was a big New York Times piece talking about Chinese influence of elections up in New York.

00:36:09.340 You have been helping coordinate a lot of what Texas has been doing in terms of really, I think, leading, being the tip of the spear when it comes to countering malign Chinese influence.

00:36:19.500 Can you walk us through some of the bills that were just signed yesterday?

00:36:22.380 Yesterday, Governor Abbott, who's been the best leader in the country on these issues, signed three key pieces of legislation.

00:36:30.200 One, no CCP, no Trendagua.

00:36:34.060 None of these terrorist organizations can buy or rent property in Texas.

00:36:37.840 Two, ending sister cities with adversary nations, China, Russia, North Korea.

00:36:42.360 And then three, first in the country, probably first in the world to create a new criminal statute for what's called transnational repression.

00:36:51.660 Short form of that, the Chinese government reaches in here and attacks people in the state of Texas. 0.97

00:36:57.380 It's happening in Texas.

00:36:58.600 It's happening across the United States.

00:37:00.500 So Texas, first state in the country, probably the first jurisdiction in the world to define transnational repression and say, we're going to send you to jail for a very long time if you try that here.

00:37:10.640 But on top of that, Governor Abbott issued, say, five executive orders, another 10 pieces of critical legislation to block the Communist Party in all sorts of ways, getting our pensions out of China, blocking their genomic harvesting, which is a really sort of heinous thing.

00:37:26.160 They're gathering genomic data across the United States for all the wrong reasons.

00:37:30.700 And so there's a huge swath of legislation that was enacted in Texas this year.

00:37:35.240 Every other state needs to be looking at what's happening here.

00:37:37.580 But the federal leaders as well on higher education, Texas enacted legislation that's going to send you to jail for a long time if you do what one Chinese researcher was just caught doing this week, which is stealing trade secrets.

00:37:52.000 Texas is making that a 20-year prison sentence with a new law that goes into effect in just the next week.

00:37:58.080 Protecting our higher education system, screening researchers, all sorts of critical legislation that needs to happen, as I said, at both the state and at the federal level if we're going to stop the Communist Party.

00:38:11.180 Yeah, I think it's an interesting way sort of building from the bottom up, a very robust defense to Chinese influence and infiltration, right, starting at what seem to be these innocuous things like the sister cities or the academic exchanges.

00:38:26.940 But as you well know, this is part of a multi-billion dollar political warfare effort that Beijing very strictly controls and deploys quite strategically, right, to curate these sort of Western politicians or academics or think tanker types or media types to push and peddle their line.

00:38:42.640 I'm curious, kind of relating this to what was, I mean, we've been talking about it here in the warm for a while, but I guess maybe for the New York Times readers when they're not busy taking China daily advertisements, they publish years later investigations into Chinese infiltration, particularly in New York.

00:38:58.500 But can you just sort of give us, you know, an overview of how exactly this compromised network works and why it's so important to sort of use that to reverse engineer the policy solutions to combating it?

00:39:10.520 So the name of it is called the United Front Apparatus, but really think of it as a political warfare machine.

00:39:19.060 Think of it as you're trying to win an election in the United States every single day.

00:39:24.360 That's why with the New York Times covered, and they deserve credit for this because they've been ignoring this problem for a while, over 50 organizations in the city of New York, all with ties to the Chinese government working on behalf of the Chinese government while actually operating under American nonprofits.

00:39:40.520 So they're engaging in electioneering, which is illegal for them to do under nonprofit law, but set that aside, they're running broad influence operations to try to take out politicians who say support Taiwan and insert politicians, and they don't care the party, insert politicians that support the global agenda of the Chinese Communist Party.

00:40:00.180 They also inserted spies into the governor of New York's offices.

00:40:04.800 You know, she's under indictment now with her husband. 1.00

00:40:07.480 They're inserting spies across governments where really you have a soft underbelly, New York, California, Minnesota, where the leadership's really not watching very closely.

00:40:18.200 So what they're doing in New York, over 50 civil society orgs, they're really just arms of the Communist Party.

00:40:24.540 They're operating to enhance the Communist Party's power within the United States, and then they're crushing dissent against the Communist Party.

00:40:32.120 New York also had an illegal police station where the Communist Party was policing ethnic Chinese in America, in New York City itself.

00:40:41.780 So that's transnational oppression.

00:40:43.860 That's the kind of thing that Texas said, you're going to go to jail for a really long time if you do it here.

00:40:49.340 But in New York, unfortunately, they still have free reign.

00:40:51.880 And I think that the FBI really needs to start looking at some of these deep blue jurisdictions, California, New York, where the Communist Party is really just running wild.

00:41:02.500 I mean, Gavin Newsom is running right along with them in California.

00:41:05.920 The governor of New York had spies in her office.

00:41:08.560 They're now under indictment.

00:41:09.620 And I think you really need federal law enforcement to dig in deeply into these networks, suss them out.

00:41:15.240 And if, you know, the President Trump, he should sanction all these entities.

00:41:20.160 Their proposals should just sanction the entirety of what's called the United Front, cut off all their funding, send all the agents home, and denaturalize anyone who became a citizen of the United States by lying about their affiliations and loyalty to the Communist Party.

00:41:35.080 That's what we need to win this political war just on our own soil, set aside the global conflict we have with the Communist Party. 0.84

00:41:42.660 Michael, if you can hang with us through the break, I have been a very staunch advocate of sanctioning anyone, even tangentially tied to the United Front.

00:41:51.520 Frankly, I would subpoena all of the lobbyists that worked on behalf of a lot of these influence groups, too, not just to get the names of the people who participated in all these meetings.

00:42:00.560 But I think those people should face criminal charges, frankly, for treason.

00:42:04.280 I mean, collaborating with the Chinese Communist Party, let alone military-linked entities, let alone helping them target the Achilles heel of the American political system so they could get, I don't know, a better ROI for China's preferred policies.

00:42:15.600 Yeah, I think we call that treason. 0.94

00:42:17.600 I think maybe you're a traitor. 0.99

00:42:18.600 Call me crazy. 1.00

00:44:56.380 Do it today.

00:44:56.860 Here's your host, Stephen K.

00:45:00.240 Welcome back to The War Room.

00:45:06.620 We're still joined by Michael Lucci of State Armor.

00:45:10.160 Now, Michael, the Trump administration got very close in sort of both direct and indirect ways in the first term to sanctioning a lot of these united front entities or at least really strongly warning, I believe it was the National Governors Association, from collaborating with any of these sort of Chinese counterparts, the one particularly engaged in the charm offensive.

00:45:34.000 They revealed a lot of these companies or these sort of entities as being military proxies and collaborators, obviously sanctioning, adding to the entity list, a lot of these kind of groups.

00:45:44.100 I'm just curious, make the case, you know, a lot of admin people watch this show, they love Steve, can't blame them, but why you think going after the united front is a really, really useful arrow in the quiver to combat malign Chinese influence?

00:46:00.840 I take the Chinese leader seriously when he says that the united front is his number one weapon to defeat the United States.

00:46:10.960 He places that ahead of the People's Liberation Army, which he puts at number two, and the Communist Party itself, which he puts at number three.

00:46:18.260 I think he means it when he says that.

00:46:20.700 And why does he think that's his number one power against the United States?

00:46:24.460 Because it subverts our democratic system and our constitutional system.

00:46:29.180 It erodes the rule of law, but for their purposes, it allows them to extract extraordinary value from the United States while also damaging our system.

00:46:40.460 So it's a way to use our system against us, to use our open system against us by extracting value and damaging our democracy at the same time.

00:46:49.460 Easy example, as I know we're talking about higher education.

00:46:52.320 The greatest heist in the history of the world has been committed by the Communist Party against the university system and corporate America. 0.87

00:47:01.340 They've extracted literally trillions of dollars of intellectual property, and then they monetize that every year.

00:47:07.200 They get a return of hundreds of billions of dollars every year on the trillions of wealth that they stole from us.

00:47:13.600 That is all by design.

00:47:15.400 There are 150 Chinese student scholar associations on campuses across the United States.

00:47:20.700 This is one example.

00:47:22.100 Our State Department says that they are controlled by the United Front.

00:47:26.220 In other words, they are part of Beijing's global political warfare machine.

00:47:30.560 They should not exist.

00:47:32.360 All of these influence operations that we see—you could talk to some Chinese students on campus, and they will tell you, if I say this thing, my parents get visited back home.

00:47:42.480 This is—so they're subverting constitutional rights inside the United States against Chinese immigrants, Chinese Americans, regular American citizens. 0.64

00:47:52.120 They're broadly undermining our system, and they win by inches.

00:47:56.140 That's why the United Front is so important to them.

00:47:58.660 They turn our institutions against ourselves.

00:48:01.400 They win by inches.

00:48:02.820 And so perhaps they don't win an invasion against President Trump in this term, but they will win inches this entire time unless we eject this entire political warfare machine.

00:48:14.240 It's the only choice we have.

00:48:16.080 The alternative is we let them slowly defeat us over time.

00:48:19.740 They've already done this to some of our allies, New Zealanders, Australia.

00:48:23.960 They are swamped with United Front influence operations.

00:48:26.520 We have to eject them here, and then we have to help our allies eject them from their countries. 1.00

00:48:32.220 Otherwise, we will continually be surrounded by these influence operations.

00:48:37.960 And, Michael, just one more time, if people want to follow you, get engaged, you guys are always sort of sounding the alarm against a lot of, I think, Chinese infiltration, whether it's the Microsoft stuff, the Visa stuff, the United Front.

00:48:52.580 Where can they go to get engaged, reach out, and follow you?

00:48:57.280 StateArmor.org is our website.

00:48:59.340 At StateArmor is our handle on Twitter.

00:49:02.220 And then at Michael Lucci on Twitter as well.

00:49:04.460 Constantly investigating, working with lawmakers, stopping the Communist Party at the state level.

00:49:11.020 Thank you, sir, for joining us.

00:49:12.440 A very noble mission.

00:49:13.960 We appreciate it.

00:49:15.340 Thank you.

00:49:18.800 And, Denver, if we have that clip, we can roll it.

00:49:21.560 Otherwise, I will talk about the United Front and Chinese Communist Party invitation for a while.

00:49:26.940 But, I guess, MSNBC, I believe they participated in a lot of the pay-for-play dinners with Chinese lobbyists, too.

00:49:33.380 So, it all runs together.

00:49:34.580 Although, take your pick.

00:49:35.380 Because all legacy media networks did.

00:49:38.240 I told you, legacy media wasn't going to touch the manifesto, right?

00:49:41.620 Or any of the clips, the videos that are obviously proclaiming extreme hatred for President Trump and all things, promotion of all things transgenderism. 0.98

00:49:50.640 Let's watch an MSNBC, I guess, panelist.

00:49:53.980 He doesn't look weird enough.

00:49:55.240 Well, he looks pretty weird, but not weird enough to be a host.

00:49:58.020 Contort himself intellectually into why he can't explain. 0.76

00:50:01.860 Kill Trump now was written on the chamber. 0.91

00:50:04.760 Let's roll it.

00:50:05.740 One of the things that we're still trying to get a better handle on, we're still going through the videos and going through the writings.

00:50:11.440 So, just to describe it to folks, their YouTube videos, where there's a number of either journals, or they look like journals, where there's a number of writings, not all of them in the English language.

00:50:21.280 There's some sort of Eastern European language that's used.

00:50:24.640 Some of it is in English.

00:50:26.920 And this individual is writing about a whole host of things.

00:50:29.440 Won't get into all the particular details.

00:50:31.240 As we stated last hour, we're not here to do the bidding of this individual so that we can basically put out the information they were hoping to gain out of this shooting,

00:50:40.080 which is killed in an 8- and a 10-year-old.

00:50:42.340 You reference those that are at the hospital, the kids ages 6 to 14.

00:50:46.700 Some of them are in critical condition.

00:50:48.720 Four needed to be operated on.

00:50:50.520 What investigators are focusing on are these videos, when they were specifically made.

00:50:55.120 There's some dates that are associated with it.

00:50:56.760 The bottom line messaging on this, suicidal thoughts, quote, extremely violent thoughts is how one person in law enforcement phrased it to me.

00:51:07.700 There's a reference to prior mass violence attacks.

00:51:11.740 There's a whole host of different writings, some of it nonsensical.

00:51:15.780 There's a handwritten diagram of the interior of a church.

00:51:19.260 Not clear if it's this church.

00:51:21.440 And there's all sorts of things that this individual is muttering and whispering under their breath.

00:51:26.160 So that's the latest as far as the investigation goes.

00:51:30.400 What specific ideology or motivation will be assigned to this to be determined?

00:51:35.100 And that's the latest.

00:51:36.580 That's as far as the investigation goes.

00:51:38.580 Yeah.

00:51:38.780 When else have you told us that?

00:51:40.060 I think about what the origins of COVID, the COVID vaccines, the truth about January 6th.

00:51:46.400 These people don't want to investigate it because they know it proves, yet again, the war room right when we don't want to be right, that the Democrat Party is a death cult.

00:51:54.420 They don't protect or worship humanity. 0.93

00:51:56.820 They hate Christianity. 0.64

00:51:58.100 They steel man that as Christian nationalism. 0.99

00:52:00.580 These people are disgusting, and I guess we'll take you out with the wonderful Jen Psaki, though, to her credit. 1.00

00:52:06.360 I guess she worked essentially for a dead man, so I don't even know if she would know how to respond to a school shooting. 0.90

00:52:12.460 But she wanted to weigh in, the brilliant genius that she is, quote,

00:52:16.520 When kids are getting shot in their pews at a Catholic school mass and your crime plan is to have National Guard put mulch down around D.C., maybe rethink your strategy.

00:52:25.440 How about this, Jen Psaki?

00:52:27.220 Maybe rethink your strategy of working for what?

00:52:29.840 Probably one of the foremost networks in the country, which is hemorrhaging cash and personnel day by day.

00:52:34.500 But that's responsible for pumping this country full of indoctrinating material, making kids want to become trans, hate Christians, and carry out acts like we saw this morning.

00:52:44.680 I don't need advice from you or your failing show last time I checked.

00:52:48.360 War room's on the up and up, and I think you basically lost your prime time slot.

00:52:52.420 Thanks for the advice.

00:52:53.820 Have a good one, war room.

00:52:54.660 What if he had the brightest mind in the war room, delivering critical financial research every month?

00:53:32.780 His latest book, Money GPT, exposes how AI is setting the stage for financial chaos, bank runs at lightning speeds, algorithm-driven crashes, and even threats to national security.
