00:01:12.760 now set for 10 a.m. this morning in Washington, D.C., after Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook filed a

00:01:18.900 lawsuit against President Trump, claiming that his attempt to remove her from her position is

00:01:24.060 unlawful. She's asking to remain an active member of the board in her lawsuit, which also names the

00:01:30.420 Fed's Board of Governors and chair Jerome Powell as defendants. Cook describes her ouster as

00:01:35.740 unprecedented and illegal. The filing argues that the president does not have the power to unilaterally

00:01:42.060 redefine cause, completely unmoored to case law, history and tradition and conclude without evidence

00:01:48.980 that he has found it. Trump has accused Cook of mortgage fraud, but she has not been charged

00:01:54.540 with a crime. Citizens are now at the mercy of a rogue, highly incompetent group of individuals

00:02:01.380 who don't at the end of the day, in my estimation, have the health care of the American people in mind.

00:07:39.240 if the President of the United States cannot let her go for these activities for a cause,

00:07:43.500 then the whole Federal Reserve structure is unconstitutional and must be just taken apart

00:07:49.600 and rethought. Mike Davis, let's start there, sir. Yeah, so Lisa Cook is one of the seven governors

00:07:57.200 on the Federal Reserve Board. She got caught with her hand in the cookie jar three times. There is

00:08:03.840 very strong evidence presented by Bill Pulte, one of Trump's housing finance leads, that Lisa Cook

00:08:12.340 committed mortgage fraud. She said that these residences were her primary residence, and she

00:08:18.600 got a lower interest rate when, in fact, they were investment properties. Investment properties

00:08:24.700 have a higher risk of default, and that could harm the whole financial system of people who are lying

00:08:32.580 about getting a primary residence when it's not. The Democrats' response is that, oh, we never

00:08:40.200 charge people with mortgage fraud, which is a felony. We don't charge people with mortgage fraud unless

00:08:45.580 it's in connection with other crimes. Well, that's just silly. That means there's amnesty for mortgage

00:08:50.400 fraud, and that sends a message to the entire country, go commit mortgage fraud. Otherwise,

00:08:56.000 you know, there's nothing we're going to do about it. So that's just a dumb argument. And it's a

00:09:00.620 particularly dumb argument when you are one of the governors of the Fed with the responsibility of

00:09:06.640 helping to establish policies for our financial system that affect interest rates. So there's pretty

00:09:16.580 damning evidence against this Lisa Cook. Under our statute for the Federal Reserve, the president can fire 0.98

00:09:24.280 these governors for cause. There's clearly cause to fire her if she's committing mortgage fraud one time. 1.00

00:09:30.980 There's evidence she committed mortgage fraud several times. And so she should be able to be fired 1.00

00:09:35.880 immediately under that statute, which President Trump has done. She's challenging that.

00:09:40.920 And she is not, and Mike, just for the audience, she has not denied, she bought a house as a primary

00:09:56.040 investment property. And she listed that as a second home when it was purely investment property. So she's got

00:10:00.720 a couple of mortgage fraud things, and she's never denied that, right? She's not denied that of all

00:10:07.920 these accusations of mortgage fraud that she didn't do it, correct? I have not heard any denial, and I

00:10:13.820 don't know how you can deny it. I mean, her signature's on the document, and then you see that it's an

00:10:19.120 investment property instead of her primary residence or a second home. So that's the issue. President

00:10:25.820 Trump has fired her for cause, and she's challenging that, and the Federal Reserve Board is challenging

00:10:30.600 that, and they're trying to make this like it's a play for the Federal Reserve's independence. And

00:10:35.400 that's the problem. That's the bigger problem, is that this statute that created the Federal Reserve

00:10:41.460 111 years ago, or whenever it was, that established the Fed, the problem is it essentially created a fourth

00:10:49.980 branch of government that's not allowed by our Constitution. Again, under Article I, Congress

00:10:56.660 writes the laws. It has the legislative power. Under Article II, the president executes the laws. He has the

00:11:04.380 executive power, all executive power. Under Article III, the Supreme Court and the lower federal courts decide

00:11:10.360 cases and controversies of the parties properly before them with redressable claims. That's Article

00:11:16.820 three standing or the judicial power. If you create this Federal Reserve system where the president

00:11:24.520 cannot fire them, they're exercising executive power outside of the president's executive power,

00:11:32.360 and the president has the executive power, all executive power, under Article II. So if the Federal

00:11:39.080 Reserve wants to fight for this fraudster, Lisa Cook, and say that the president didn't have the

00:11:46.240 statutory power to fire her, then the courts have to say, okay, they're going to have to decide that 1.00

00:11:50.460 issue. I think the court's going to say, of course, the president has the power to fire someone for a

00:11:55.440 cause if they're committing mortgage fraud, especially several times. But if they don't, if they say that

00:12:00.640 that's not something that creates cause to fire someone, then the courts are going to have to decide

00:12:05.520 the constitutional question, whether the president has the power under Article II of the Constitution

00:12:11.880 to fire this executive branch officer, Lisa Cook at the Fed. And if he does not have that power under 0.98

00:12:20.840 the statute, then it's unconstitutional. The Fed is. But aren't a lot of these alphabet agencies,

00:12:26.460 aren't we getting down to the hub of it, that, or the nub of it, where these semi-autonomous

00:12:32.240 agencies, they got to be a fish or a fowl, right? I mean, the president and his executive power has to have

00:12:38.840 the ability to set the policy over there to be able to hire and fire people or not. I mean,

00:12:44.220 shouldn't we take this all the way to its ultimate conclusion? Because, you know, here in the world,

00:12:47.380 we're trying to drive the maximalist position every day now. And also, they seize the institutions

00:12:53.680 because the left is melting down because they see exactly what we're trying to do, but we're just not

00:12:59.060 doing it fast enough. Shouldn't we, shouldn't the government, shouldn't President Trump's lawyers

00:13:03.940 go in there and just say, hey, look, it's not just about firing Cook. It's about the entire structure

00:13:42.420 governors. And so they're exercising executive power at the Fed outside of the president's

00:13:47.700 executive power and that makes it unconstitutional. And so, look, this is part of the Wilsonian model

00:13:54.160 that we have the founders who want it separated powers, both vertical and horizontal separation.

00:14:00.480 So we make sure that there's not centralized power, that power belongs to we, the people.

00:27:22.560 court three times now to get a court order saying, hey, our Republicans need to be seated. And three

00:27:29.520 times now, the court has said, yeah, they do. And they have issued orders to the county commissioners

00:27:35.500 saying, you need to seat the Republicans on the board. They're lawfully appointed. You know, there's no

00:27:40.120 legal reason that they can't be on the board. They meet all the requirements, and they went through

00:27:44.780 the proper process. So put them on the board. And the county, I'm sorry, the commissioners are just

00:27:49.640 saying, no, we're just not going to do it. So finally, on Wednesday, they went back, of this

00:27:53.680 week, just a couple days ago, they went back and got an order from the judge getting a contempt order,

00:37:04.580 votes in the primary. This is going to be a high voter turnout, I believe, because the nation's eyes

00:37:11.840 are on this race. It's getting a lot of momentum, and people are very concerned about what's going

00:37:15.740 on. So if we can drive close to 50 percent of the voter turnout and really push it up there,

00:37:20.940 the person who gets 590,000 votes is going to be the winner. And I don't believe that's going to be

00:37:25.340 Zoran Mamdani, because I don't believe he has much support beyond the support that he got in the

00:37:30.340 primary. I'm not even convinced that the voters who came out in the primary are going to come out

00:37:33.660 to vote for him. But we can't. The numbers are there. We just have to drive the people out to go out

00:37:39.220 and vote. Traditionally, New York City mayoral races are having low voter turnout, 23 percent,

00:37:43.800 25 percent. It's abysmal. I think this race is going to be different. The eyes of the nation are 0.99

00:37:48.500 on it. I think if we can drive the people out and split the vote, the person who ends up with

00:37:53.700 590,000 votes wins. And I don't think that will be Zoran Mamdani.

00:42:16.580 because the BRICS is not a political or military alliance. It's an economic alliance, and you can

00:42:21.780 have good economic relations, even if you're fighting over other issues on a different level.

00:42:28.240 Shanghai Cooperation Organization is different. That actually does purport to have some military

00:42:33.960 functions. Now, it's not NATO. They've never done anything militarily, but that is part of their

00:42:39.140 charter, that that would be a more proactive political military group. And I've said for a

00:42:43.520 long time, we're going to see over time a convergence of the BRICS and the SCO, the Shanghai

00:42:48.880 Cooperation Organization. There is a lot of overlap in the members. I don't have a whole list of all

00:42:53.760 the members in front of me, but the big ones, Russia and China and India, are in both. And that's

00:43:00.600 why Putin and Modi are showing up for this. So we're watching what's sometimes called the global

00:46:42.700 brothers lock in hard and actually become an alliance, and I might note that that Modi has said

00:46:48.240 that he's not going to go to the parade stand. They're there for the meetings. They are going to

00:46:52.040 meetings, but he's not going to commemorate the 80th victory by standing at the parade stand.

00:46:58.500 How bad is it? How rough is the 21st century going to be for the good old United States of America

00:47:04.460 if those three are partners and have some sort of hard alliance on the Eurasian landmass in an

00:47:10.080 international capital markets, sir? Well, if they are, again, we're talking Russia, China, and India,
