00:22:44.020 investigation we are conducting, and that's what we're doing. Have those distinctions about

00:22:54.400 target. My targeting list is from the men and women at the FBI. Have you talked about
00:22:58.420 investigating certain groups, nonprofits, or foundations, or institutions? Whatever those

00:23:11.400 to determine loyalty of agents? No. Have you committed that you will respect the First Amendment
00:23:24.320 rights of agents? I have wildly committed to respecting the First Amendment rights of agents,
00:23:29.600 but at the FBI, you have to balance your First Amendment rights. I don't know why you're not

00:32:01.100 Beacon quoted one of them from September 3rd. You know, it'd be, it's, they're horrible. It'd be
00:32:06.560 funny if someone like Charlie Kirk got shot on September 10th, LMAO, end quote. Another allegedly
00:32:12.740 posted, quote, Charlie Kirk is coming to my college tomorrow. I really hope someone evaporates him
00:32:17.940 literally, end quote, followed by, quote, let's just say something big will happen tomorrow, end quote.
00:32:23.880 And as I think you mentioned, the FBI is also examining the role of armed queers, Salt Lake 0.89
00:32:29.600 City, a radical socialist LGBTQ group. And they've deleted their accounts, but apparently they once
00:32:39.040 promoted firearms training, Cuban revolutionary trips, and the quote, armed and militant protection
00:32:44.180 of queer and trans communities. Now, having said all of that, Steve, I really kind of want to issue,
00:32:50.220 you know, I will, you know, a classic caution. And I issued the same caution after 9-11.
00:32:58.260 And I issued it after 2008, you know, about rounding up Muslims, you know, any Muslims or 1.00
00:33:04.240 rounding up, you know, any group. I mean, it appears to be confirmed that some trans and LGBT
00:33:11.120 identified accounts have evidence of alleged foreknowledge of this horrific crime. But I think
00:33:19.160 it's such a, I just have to say this, it's such an inflamed moment, understandably, people like,
00:33:25.740 you know, you and other friends of ours have lost a dear friend, a young father, you know,
00:33:30.800 the tragedy can't be overstated. But at this moment, I just think it's really important for us to remember
00:33:36.860 that even if God forbid, trans identified and LGBT identified people, some of them did horrible things 1.00
00:33:45.860 or were involved in a plot to, you know, hurt or kill the late Charlie Kirk, that doesn't mean
00:33:53.300 that a larger group is criminal. And that's just always true. And, you know, we've got to remember
00:33:58.400 it or our country will fall apart.

00:34:03.660 to you. We got Russ Vogt live at the White House, and he's jammed for time. Russ, people are quite,
00:34:10.120 Punch Bolt says today, we're going to get a CR clean, I think it looks like a clean CR that gets
00:34:15.200 us to Thanksgiving. Right? So as you know, given your time with us in the four years, we've been
00:34:24.500 fighting this forever. Give us some good news about this CR, if there is any.
00:34:31.440 Well, I think there is. And I think the reality is that we have been able to operate under lower
00:34:38.220 levels than a CR because the members put us in a position where we could get the government
00:34:44.040 funded. We're up against another one of those opportunities right now. And in six months,
00:34:49.440 we are $17 billion lower than a CR levels. See, how might that be? Because of the things that the
00:34:56.160 president ran on, rescissions, pocket rescissions. And as a result, we are $17 billion below with only
00:35:04.520 six months. And so as you go forward, CR, I think it's important to think of a CR differently when
00:35:10.860 you have a president who is using executive tools at his disposal that had never been done before.
00:35:16.480 You're certainly not having a deal where the Biden administration is trying to spend more.
00:35:20.300 And so this is a very critical juncture point. We're hoping to get this thing passed. I was up
00:35:25.280 working with conservatives today, this morning to encourage them to vote for this. And I think the
00:35:32.020 other thing that's informative is where those on the other side are. I mean, they are going apoplectic
00:35:36.820 about the moves the president of this administration is making to spend less, to save less, to be more
00:35:43.100 efficient. And they're trying to leverage things that have nothing to do with the CR with regard to
00:35:48.820 health care policy. And so we have them in a very good position where they should be with us to fund
00:35:56.840 the government. And they are not currently. And I think this is important debate that we're going to
00:36:01.320 have. I think this is on the terms of conservatives. And that's why I'm, I'm excited to be out there
00:36:07.100 encouraging people to be for it.
00:36:11.180 Okay. So let's say, you know, the warmen others say, okay, we've got faith in President Trump and
00:36:16.060 Russ and Besson and these guys. And I understand you've done magnificent work with the rescissions,
00:36:22.860 pocket rescissions, but a lot of these are just symbolic. What is the plan? If people agree to
00:36:28.440 this, I say, okay, fine, November. And then this, cause we're still on Biden's, correct me if I'm
00:36:32.120 wrong. We're still on Biden and Pelosi's numbers. What is the plan? Cause there's only so much the
00:36:36.840 executive can do. What is the plan with the Republicans on Capitol Hill, uh, Scott Besson at treasury
00:36:43.760 to get us from, you know, with, with, with tariffs coming in, other money coming in all of this to
00:36:50.280 get us from six and a half percent, I think of, um, of, uh, deficit to GDP down to something that's
00:36:57.280 manageable at 3% because governments throughout the world are falling like in, like in, uh, France
00:37:04.340 and soon to be in England, his, his approvals as president Trump's hanging with him at checkers
00:37:08.640 this weekend is 11%, right? All because driven a lot because of immigration and finances and paying
00:37:16.100 for it. What then is a people, let's say, okay, fine. You get the CRA, you get to November.
00:37:21.260 We're correct me if I'm wrong. Our deficit this year is going to be $1.9 trillion when we finish
00:37:25.680 on September 30th, right? Just what's the plan?
00:37:32.160 Let me zoom out for, it's a great question, Steve, you know, it's one that I care and, and,
00:37:36.940 and stay up thinking about. We entered this administration with $32 trillion in deficits
00:37:42.460 over the next 10 years, unrelated to what we've already facing in terms of the national debt.
00:37:47.680 As a result of the moves made in just the first eight months and their logical trajectory, we're
00:37:54.960 gonna have to fight all those out into the future, but just where we are right now, $4 trillion in
00:37:59.640 tariff revenues coming in to the taxpayer, uh, no one had ever assumed that that was going to be the
00:38:04.740 case. The discretionary cuts that we're on the glide path to be able to change the way the town
00:38:10.980 works and does business, the economic growth. We put out a mid-session review that said over 10
00:38:16.620 years, that's $15 trillion reduced from that number, that eye-popping $32 trillion number
00:38:22.480 that I discussed. And, and including the, the, the efforts on the one big beautiful bill with $1.5
00:38:27.980 trillion in mandatory spending. So we're making major moves. We're in the, the first eight months,
00:38:34.800 and I would say with regard to discretionary spending, which matters a great deal. We, I've
00:38:39.700 been on your show for a long time talking about this is the money that funds the bureaucracy.
00:38:43.880 It's what they have a vote on every single year. We're changing 50 years of a paradigm with regard to
00:38:49.740 the notion that 200 years of presidents just had the ability to spend less if they thought it was
00:38:55.040 inefficient than the Congress gave them. And I don't, I would, I would contest a little bit,
00:38:58.900 Steve, that these are symbolic, uh, rescissions. In fact, they are part of calculated moves to be able
00:39:05.980 to reassert the executive branch in a way that you can have separation of powers again. And obviously
00:39:11.060 that's one of those paramount constitutional principles so that a president's budget is not
00:39:15.760 ignored, that you actually have a give and take between the legislative and the executive branch
00:39:20.720 and the appropriations process will work again. Right now, the appropriations process is,
00:39:25.660 has to deal with the fact that there, you need 60 votes in the Senate and you don't have a lot of
00:39:33.260 margin in the house. And so if you're looking for a strategy to get lower spending, and that's what I'm
00:39:38.160 like, what's my interest? Lower spending. It is to pass these CRs and to continue to do rescissions,
00:39:43.860 pocket rescissions, and potentially impoundments with the president has run on. This is a durable
00:39:48.600 strategy, and I think it will lead to the budget process and the appropriations process working.
00:39:54.940 Okay, so you're saying from the 32 trillion of projected deficits, you've essentially cut that,
00:40:00.100 and we still got some more work to do to make sure this is all implemented, but you cut it to 50,
00:40:04.000 you've cut it, you've cut 15 trillion out of that, almost 50 percent, okay? One of the things that
00:40:09.640 concerns me is everything you said, and look, we 100 percent support you, and we know you're a budget
00:40:14.140 hawk and a warrior on this. There's a term that's been used now for about the last 30 to 45 days
00:40:20.720 that concerns me on all your efforts going forward, not just with the 60, but there's something seeping
00:40:26.580 in there called bipartisan appropriations, and that has not been crushed yet. And it's getting
00:40:32.960 embraced more and more. Bipartisan appropriations means just Republicans, this is the unity thing,
00:40:39.800 essentially surrendering any logic on the budget and just agreeing with these out-of-control radical
00:40:46.460 Democrats, which gets back to President Trump's, they're all radical, they're all supporting radical
00:40:51.120 groups, so why are we playing patty cake with them? How are we going to stop this now mind virus
00:40:57.320 of bipartisan appropriations?
00:41:01.880 Yeah, I think there's a couple of different ways to answer the question. I got a lot of flack in this
00:41:08.000 town for when the Democrats were saying that any rescissions bill was equal to a bipartisan
00:41:14.660 appropriations process, and therefore you couldn't vote for a rescissions bill. I thought that was wrong,
00:41:19.000 and that's not how we should be thinking about it. What I mean by it, it's not a call for unity
00:41:23.420 where unity doesn't exist. It's just a recognition of the vote situation in the Senate. To fund a bill
00:41:30.880 that's outside of reconciliation, and we try to move as much through reconciliation as we possibly could,
00:41:35.940 but to move it outside of reconciliation, you need 60 votes and you have a filibuster to deal with.
00:41:41.800 And so you don't need, you don't want a bipartisan bill of 80, you know, members of the Senate, but you're
00:41:47.680 going to need in single digits of Democrats to come along with you and enact your extensions of
00:41:55.720 government funding, and that's what we're talking about. And our hope is that we'll get someone like
00:42:00.680 a Fetterman. We'll get someone that has, you know, been opposed to government shutdowns in the past,
00:42:06.260 and I think that's important. And for those who are concerned about what the bureaucracies may have
00:42:10.920 funded in years past, we will be like hawks to be able to determine what funding needs to be turned
00:42:18.540 off. We already have been, and we'll continue to do so. Love the work that people are doing, coming on
00:42:23.200 your show and others, to let us know, groups that should not warrant federal taxpayer dollars, and we will be
00:42:30.880 constantly on the lookout for those types of things. One of the things I have is my perch at USAID now, but
00:42:37.560 those are the things that we can just unilaterally turn it off. We don't need Congress to be able to do that.
