00:17:11.420 the lead up to the shooting that, at least in retrospect, could be read as indicating some
00:17:17.460 foreknowledge of the assassination.
00:17:18.860 Obviously, you don't want to read too much into any one Twitter post, and it's quite possible
00:17:26.400 all of these are duds.
00:17:27.840 But there were enough of them from enough different accounts, and some of them posted things that
00:17:32.880 seemed just so eerily prescient that the FBI, we know, is investigating these posts and potential
00:17:43.520 linkages between them, I believe.

00:19:04.120 I mean, talk about—how many individuals are they, and how specific do they get about Charlie Kirk,

00:19:20.940 Now, I should note that at least one of those tweets came from an account that I've referenced
00:19:25.720 a lot of other dates, so I'm not sure how much stock you want to put in that.
00:19:29.860 And another one that referenced September 10th, you know, it sounds a little like—
00:19:35.500 reading the whole exchange, it's not really clear that this was actually really a prediction
00:19:41.520 of Charlie Kirk's death, or so much as kind of a retroactive celebration of it.

00:19:47.540 There are others where—that were made closer to the date of the shooting where people really
00:19:53.960 do seem to suggest, you know, say things like, you know, I hope he's evaporated tomorrow.

00:20:01.640 I mean, it really does sound like they're hinting at some—that they have some foreknowledge

00:20:15.700 Um, and then the other thing that I think is noteworthy here, and again, there's a lot
00:20:21.180 we don't know, but several of these accounts appear to be associated with various kind of
00:20:26.800 LGBT online subcultures.
00:20:29.920 Um, and one of them followed the shooter's roommate on TikTok.
00:20:35.380 So, again, none of that is a smoking gun, but it does seem like the shooter was at the
00:20:41.940 very least kind of proximate to these online communities that were effectively fantasizing
00:20:49.600 about Charlie Kirk's death, if not indicating some foreknowledge of it.
00:20:53.400 Some of these, I think—and I only used the term because I think they were officially
00:20:59.300 named that.
00:20:59.880 I think it's Armed Queers of Salt Lake City.
00:21:02.120 That's one of the groups I think took it down.
00:21:03.640 Are these the types of groups that you're talking about, some of these more aggressive
00:21:07.220 or more leaning into it, LGBTQ groups, sir?
00:21:12.180 Well, so my understanding is the FBI is investigating those groups, and then there's kind of these
00:21:17.300 accounts that aren't necessarily affiliated with those specific groups, but just all do seem
00:21:22.780 to indicate in their, in their bios or in their choice of username that they are part of some
00:21:28.260 kind of strange LGBT subcultures.
00:21:31.760 Um, and I know there's a lot of those too on, on Steam and Discord, uh, you know, on which
00:21:37.440 the shooter was known to be active.
00:21:39.300 I believe he had a Steam account.
00:21:40.920 Um, some of this, not all of this has been verified, but it's clear that there are sort
00:21:45.880 of a lot of these groups, both online and off, that dabble in, in really kind of militant
00:21:51.820 rhetoric and iconography.
00:21:53.400 And I think that's part of why the FBI is taking these individual accounts so seriously.
00:21:58.520 It's not just the accounts.
00:21:59.940 It's this kind of larger, uh, organizational ecosystem, um, that really does seem quite,
00:22:07.300 uh, comfortable with violence, uh, at the very least, or at least very comfortable with
00:22:11.300 violent rhetoric.
00:22:14.380 Uh, Aaron, uh, were you familiar with anything before Charlie Kirk's assassination last Thursday?
00:22:19.700 Were you familiar with this kind of whole part of the, of the internet or the whole part
00:22:24.260 of, uh, kind of the, the, the, the revolutionary left?
00:22:28.160 Were you familiar before you started going in and looking at this stuff?
00:22:32.700 It's, it's not something I spend a ton of time in, but, um, you know, I'm familiar with
00:22:39.120 the Zizians, which is this kind of weird transgender rationalist cult that has been linked to multiple
00:22:44.600 murders across the United States, including that of a border patrol agent, uh, I think
00:22:49.800 it was earlier this year or late last year.
00:22:52.240 Um, so, I mean, I'm, I'm tangentially aware that there are these kind of strange subcultures
00:22:58.140 and networks.
00:22:58.800 I mean, some of them are more like cults, um, out there.
00:23:01.580 Uh, and yeah, it, it does seem like, um, there, some of these kind of lefty subcultures just
00:23:10.580 really have a problem with, uh, political violence.
00:23:17.140 Um, that cult you talked about, I think people, even when the, and I think it was in Vermont
00:23:21.220 or New Hampshire, I mean, it's not your, it was kind of the Northern border patrol got,
00:23:25.400 got shot and killed by the people of the cult.
00:23:27.820 And I think they come all the way from San Francisco or something what, so then when
00:23:31.380 you dove into it and started really doing this reporting and saw, you know, the, at
00:23:36.040 least the grunch of them that, you know, appear in, I'm going to say they, it's to be proven
00:23:42.680 whether they knew it or not, but are overly pressing.
00:23:45.700 I think that's what shocked people.
00:23:47.340 I mean, what were your first thoughts when you started pulling this together?
00:23:53.800 You know, my first thought was, look, this is speculative and I don't want to
00:23:57.780 read too much into it, but at the same time, it's really, it's really creepy.

00:24:10.080 dead ends, I think it illustrates, um, how normalized this kind of open, morbid, uh, fantasizing

00:24:25.440 but there clearly are these weird subcultures where people just think it's okay to call
00:24:29.640 for the death of your political opponents, um, and to, to celebrate and justify it.
00:24:35.360 Um, and from what we know, this guy, uh, Tyler Robinson was spending a lot of time online.

00:35:49.940 roof only slightly below.
00:35:51.580 The UVU officer climbed over the railing and down onto the roof.
00:35:57.380 He then walked to the suspected shooting position and confirmed a clear shooting corridor between
00:36:03.280 the position and Mr. Kirk's seat.
00:36:06.940 He also noticed markings in the gravel rooftop, consistent with a sniper having laying on the
00:36:13.540 roof, impressions in the gravel potentially left by the elbows, knees, and feet of a
00:36:21.560 person in a prone shooting position.
00:36:25.560 Police reviewed surveillance from the camera covering the roof and discovered that it recorded
00:36:31.140 an individual dressed in dark clothing cross the railing from the public walkway and drop
00:36:37.780 onto the roof at approximately 12.15 p.m.
00:36:41.860 Although the individual moved out of the camera's view for a short time, the camera again captured the
00:36:50.520 individual running across the roof and then low crawling to the area the UVU officer recognized as where the
00:36:58.700 suspected sniper had dropped into a prone shooting position.
00:37:03.700 After a short time, which matches the known time of the shot, the individual arose and ran across the roof to the northeast.
00:37:13.700 This discovery led to an intensive review of UVU surveillance recordings to attempt to track and identify the suspect.

00:38:59.380 Tyler James Robinson went to the Washington County Sheriff's Office with his parents and a family friend to turn himself in.
00:39:09.380 Robinson's mother stated the following to police on September 11th, 2025, the day after the shooting.
00:39:19.380 Robinson's mother saw the photo of the shooter in the news and thought the shooter looked like her son.
00:39:25.380 Robinson's mother called her son.
00:39:28.380 Robinson's mother called her son and asked him where he was.
00:39:35.380 He said he was at home sick and that he had also been at home homesick on September 10th.
00:39:42.380 Robinson's mother expressed concern to her husband that the suspect shooter looked like Robinson.
00:39:48.380 Robinson's father agreed.
00:39:51.380 Robinson's mother explained that over the last year or so, Robinson had become more political and had started to lean more to the left, becoming more pro-gay and trans rights oriented.
00:40:05.380 She stated that Robinson began to date his roommate, a biological male who was transit transitioning genders.
00:40:14.380 This resulted in several discussions with family members, but especially between Robinson and his father, who have very different political views.
00:40:25.380 In one conversation before the shooting, Robinson mentioned that Charlie Kirk would be holding an event at UVU, which Robert Robinson said was a stupid venue for the event.
00:40:39.380 Robinson accused Kirk of spreading hate.
00:40:43.380 Robinson's father reported that when his wife showed him the surveillance image of the suspected shooter in the news, he agreed that it looked like their son.
00:40:53.380 He also believed that the rifle that police suspected the shooter used matched a rifle that was given to his son as a gift.
00:41:03.380 As a result, Robinson's father contacted his son and asked him to send a photo of the rifle.
00:41:10.380 Robinson did not respond.
00:41:12.380 However, Robinson's father spoke on the phone with Robinson.
00:41:16.380 Robinson implied that he planned to take his own life.
00:41:21.380 Robinson's parents were able to convince him to meet at their home.
00:41:25.380 As they discussed the situation, Robinson implied that he was the shooter and stated that he couldn't go to jail and just wanted to end it.
00:41:34.380 When asked why he did it, Robinson explained there is too much evil and the guy, referring to Charlie Kirk, spreads too much hate.
00:41:44.380 Within 24 hours of Mr. Kirk's shooting, we had the guy that does the podcast for the war room and another guy who's denied the Sandy Hook shootings say we're at war.
00:41:57.380 Now, how on earth, and I do believe it's a smaller number, but it's a number that has an influence.
00:42:02.380 How on earth are we deescalating the situation with the tensions as high as they were last week with going out and saying we're at war?
