Bannon's War Room - Episode 4828： Supreme Court Backs Trump's Deportations

00:00:00.000 this is the primal scream of a dying regime pray for our enemies because we're going to

00:00:09.900 medieval on these people here's not got a free shot all these networks lying about the people

00:00:16.500 the people have had a belly full of it I know you don't like hearing that I know you try to

00:00:20.580 do everything the world to stop that but you're not gonna stop it it's going to happen and where

00:00:24.180 do people like that go to share the big line mega media I wish in my soul I wish that any of these

00:00:31.980 people had a conscience ask yourself what is my task and what is my purpose if that answer is to

00:00:39.540 save my country this country will be saved war room here's your host Stephen K. Bannon

00:00:47.480 it's a Saturday for October year of the Lord 2025 uh I've asked Kurt Mills and Kurt I'm going to

00:00:55.800 intrude upon you to stick and we're going to talk about Ukraine then we'll bring 0.53

00:00:58.640 Mark Krikorian in Mark's going to give us an update on a on a really a stunning decision yesterday the

00:01:04.600 Supreme Court about Venezuela and then when we go through that I want you to stick around because 1.00

00:01:09.080 I do want to talk about Venezuela and uh it looks like approaching uh American um kinetic activity

00:01:16.720 there including seizing seaports and transportation nodes by the United States military we'll get into

00:01:22.780 that in a second um I think it's very important Fred Flights is looked at as kind of the he was

00:01:28.600 chief of staff under President Trump's first term for the National Security Council he's looked at that

00:01:32.760 traditional bedrock of Republican thinking about national security and I think it shows you

00:01:38.800 that we're having a shift a fundamental serious shift in the way we think about geopolitics now

00:01:45.820 I am much more aggressive and I would almost say interventionist when it comes against the Chinese 1.00

00:01:51.400 Communist Party I've been accused of by the great Darren Beattie my close friend and colleague and

00:01:56.960 Kurt Mills and other people I'm very close to of finding a CCP member under every bed but um

00:02:03.060 there's a shift in the shift there's a geopolitical and national security uh thought process that's

00:02:09.880 shifting radically and you can see it in Fred in the situation in the Ukraine so I want to get you in

00:02:14.240 here Kurt um and to see that quite frankly you two guys are not that far apart really on the uh on

00:02:21.540 the Middle East although I think a lot of the old hands are like Fred having got a lot of scars from 1.00

00:02:27.400 the Middle East over the last 20 or 30 years and don't like Hamas and and I keep saying Hamas has a 0.99

00:02:32.500 history as these terrorist organizations do of being able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory

00:02:39.340 and Fred puts it at 10 percent you put it at 50 percent I think the president will put it higher

00:02:43.720 right I think he feels Whitcoff going there they'll hammer out some deal and he'll just he'll do his

00:02:48.680 force of will it's one of the reasons I think more than any person in living memory he deserves uh you

00:02:56.680 know the be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize because he is a man of peace what is it this will make it

00:03:01.260 seven or eight wars something extraordinary but at the same time and I think President Trump he says

00:03:08.300 it publicly he says look I'm very frustrated about Ukraine I thought I could do it easier I thought I

00:03:13.480 could do it quicker I thought I had a better relationship with Putin he's he's he talks about

00:03:18.120 this all the time and so Fred's nailed something you and I have talked about for a couple of years

00:03:22.680 here in this Ukraine situation America like we were in Israel in the in the 12-day war we were a

00:03:28.520 combatant in that war I kept telling people when you send Aegis cruisers there and you start doing

00:03:32.940 uh defense target acquisition and when you've got uh you're sending THAAD missiles over on the defensive

00:03:39.440 side you're a combatant when you go do the expeditionary force hit uh by our bombers on the

00:03:47.020 total obliteration but at the same time folks you got 1970s technology and tomahawk missiles coming out

00:03:53.660 of fast attack submarines in the North Arabian Sea a place as a young naval officer I was

00:03:58.500 in like late 1979 early 1980 okay uh you're back to being a combatant in the war and right now Kurt

00:04:07.520 what happened in the Wiesbaden and people understand the CIA and military intelligence

00:04:13.380 DIA be running a big deal out of Germany with the Brits and with others Fred's right when you start 0.95

00:04:20.640 having loose talk and and and Zelensky's making comments about I need tomahawks I need patriots and

00:04:26.280 oh by the way President Trump I think he said not approved but basically signed off on it was

00:04:31.880 acknowledged new in advance of the deep strike into Russia what three or four months ago with the

00:04:39.100 drones something that Curtis LeMay couldn't even fantasize about we are getting inexorably sucked in

00:04:45.660 to the kinetic part of the third world war and let me just remind everybody because nobody talks about

00:04:50.340 this enough if you go from September 1st of 1939 the invasion of Poland to January June 21st of 1941

00:04:59.740 uh the Wehrmacht's invasion of Russia with Operation Barbarossa if you take that time frame and you look

00:05:06.360 at the killing that really initiated the European war part of the second world war um it pales in

00:05:14.000 comparison to the casualties President Trump said that they finally gave the number I think it's 1.8

00:05:19.240 million from intelligent sources and the president said hey I'm giving you inside baseball 1.8 million

00:05:24.320 Ukrainians dead or wounded and over a million Russians I think dead so you're talking a scale of two and a

00:05:30.960 half three over million casualties just in Ukraine right now and one of the reasons you don't see like

00:05:37.100 MSNBC putting up footage every night like they did in the first days of the war this is like World War

00:05:41.840 one's western front there's been 650,000 Ukrainian casualties this year and tell me how much MSNBC

00:05:50.440 or CNN has shown you uh like nothing because it's too brutal so Kurt I'm very concerned that with

00:05:57.020 President Trump focusing on all this other stuff we are getting sucked into and by the way the hawks in

00:06:02.560 the arms industry in the Pentagon and of course the um the the insane Lindsey Graham's and these people 1.00

00:06:09.780 want us they want us they want us in a basic kinetic war with Russia right now so what's your what's

00:06:16.800 your concern or observations about this Ukraine situation sir yeah still reeling from agreeing uh so

00:06:23.140 much with Fred flights on Ukraine uh that's not just anybody you had there he was of course John Bolton's

00:06:28.500 former chief of staff and this sort of uh wartime consigliere to General Keith Kellogg who of course

00:06:34.060 remains a special envoy on this whole theater so if that kind of thinking is is ascended among the

00:06:40.340 hawk camp uh that's pretty encouraging um I think that the tomahawk idea uh needs to be you know totally

00:06:47.240 ruled out um something that you haven't mentioned on this show is that uh President Putin the czar had his

00:06:53.340 big party this week which is the Valdai club uh meeting uh in Russia and uh he made it pretty clear

00:07:00.460 and this is this sort of language that I think people from Russia have been saying both overtly

00:07:04.500 and behind the scenes that they're done with the Europeans uh they had seen they see themselves as a

00:07:10.100 civilization apart um they see themselves as doing something different from the quote west and that they

00:07:17.320 are not going to work with the Europeans who they think are basically histrionic and outdated in their 1.00

00:07:22.280 thinking they will work with the Americans uh the Americans uh I think uh and this is also something

00:07:29.720 we've also discussed is because there's no real love lost between them and the Chinese uh they will 0.92

00:07:34.560 work with the Chinese they are more in line with the Chinese now uh but they don't trust them Russia has 0.99

00:07:39.340 a border with a massive border with China not with the U.S. and so there's an opportunity and people can

00:07:45.500 say it's uh uh sort of uh pie in the sky but but hang but hang on but hang on but hang on hang on one

00:07:51.780 second but but hang on one second because you're hitting a absolutely critical point since the time

00:07:57.880 of what Catherine the Great or Peter the Great uh the Russian czars have tried to and this is why the

00:08:03.580 capital was moved to St. Petersburg have tried to make and make the case that they're actually a European

00:08:08.400 nation and try to integrate into into Europe and this is one of the reasons for the

00:08:12.060 first and second world war um Dugan who's kind of the overall geopolitical philosopher and uh

00:08:21.420 theoretician has made this case for years that this uh this Eurasian that they're actually a Eurasian

00:08:29.400 power and the more the and that uh Europe is walking away from Christianity it's a failed society 0.96

00:08:35.820 it's had uh it's it's going to be the Islamization is only going to take over and kind of the camp of

00:08:41.860 the saints that the elites are too feckless to actually save their own countries and so why would

00:08:47.960 we want it's a civilization that's dying why would we want to be a part of it we're actually a Eurasian

00:08:53.920 power and they make this very uh elaborate um uh you know pitch about how their Eurasian power and I 0.83

00:09:00.640 agree with it not with the Chinese Communist Party but down even through Persia and that part of uh

00:09:05.420 that part of Eurasia all the way to the Arabian Sea are you saying in this latest meeting that that

00:09:10.920 you think that that because if that's now their new policy that's a major that's a major pivot and I

00:09:16.640 think that would raise the possibility of Russia potentially having an armed conflict with Europe I 0.51

00:09:23.260 think I think their belief is that when all the European clowns came to President Trump's the Oval 0.88

00:09:28.360 office and came out and they really had no commitments on security they had no money to put 0.93

00:09:32.980 up they have no arms no troops and their people have no political will to do it they kind of

00:09:37.720 beclown themselves are you saying now because of the embrace of the Eurasian strategy it would make

00:09:42.880 Russia more open to actually arm conflict against NATO or are you saying they're just walking away from

00:09:48.200 the whole thing I think it's unclear uh the person you cited Dugan is not just some rando this is uh I

00:09:55.100 don't I think his relationships with Putin are probably slightly overstated but they know that

00:09:59.660 he has a massive profile and then you know he's pumping out all this philosophical uh conjecture

00:10:05.960 all the time and to an extent I think he represents the vanguard of the Russian state and the Russian

00:10:10.620 project I think uh that's an interesting comparison you made with World War I and a lot of ways uh the

00:10:16.300 situation has reversed because you know I was in meetings in Brussels in uh June and to hear some of

00:10:22.120 these you know these are not low-ranking people that I was talking to here's some of these Europeans

00:10:25.940 they were just one more arm shipment away from you know uh taking out uh Putin in Moscow that's the

00:10:32.400 cast of mind in Europe and versus the Russians think that this war is going just fine to an extent 0.96

00:10:37.320 parts of Russia Russian society fears demobilization fears the end of the war so these sides are very far

00:10:43.180 apart as to Russia's orientation to the rest of the world I mean a they have a lot of uh strong relations

00:10:49.240 within the global south but in general I would say geopolitically they are a lone wolf lone wolf can

00:10:54.560 be good or bad uh but they have nuclear weapons they're a proud civilization uh 11 time zones and I

00:11:00.460 think it's incumbent upon the United States to work pragmatically with them they're not going anywhere

00:11:05.920 and I think what was very interesting about Putin it's been well observed his interviews with Carlson

00:11:11.060 etc is how um sort of melancholic and preoccupied with history is uh he talked again uh

00:11:19.220 this week about the collapse after the cold war and he he sort of signaled you know all this

00:11:24.280 thinking in the early 90s none of it uh came to anything the sort of Fukuyama fantasy about uh the

00:11:30.240 nations getting along it didn't happen this is a realist uh this is a stone cold hearted man no doubt

00:11:36.960 uh but it's somebody I think fundamentally the United States can do business with if it prioritizes

00:11:42.180 his own national interest as opposed to the endless indulgence of histrionic Europeans 1.00

00:11:47.200 you hang over a second I want to hold you uh Mark Akorian joins us Mark a pretty massive ruling

00:11:55.540 from the Supreme Court yesterday can you walk the audience through what the ruling was and what this

00:11:59.800 massive impact is going to be sir sure um Biden when he took over we all know started just letting

00:12:07.760 pretty much anybody in Venezuelans especially there have not been many Venezuelans coming across the

00:12:14.300 border before but he sort of invited them and so they came in the hundreds of thousands and then

00:12:20.360 he used something called temporary protected status TPS it's in the law but as the name suggests it's

00:12:28.240 supposed to be a temporary thing for when there's an earthquake or a volcano and we can't send people

00:12:33.280 home right away what it does is it gives these illegal immigrants social security numbers work 0.98

00:12:39.180 permits they can't get deported and Biden just kept renewing it and in fact the most recent renewal was

00:12:46.720 literally a week and a half before the end of the administration they were on the way out

00:12:50.960 they were trying to lock these illegal immigrants into the country and President Trump said yeah okay well 1.00

00:12:56.400 according to the law the conditions don't warrant this special essentially temporary amnesty

00:13:02.720 and so we're pulling the plug on it and as you can imagine you know the usual suspects went to

00:13:08.060 district court in San Francisco and the judges there just said oh yeah that's right it's mean to do that

00:13:14.600 so we're not going to let you do it Supreme Court now this just recently this was the second time they

00:13:20.480 slapped down a lower court and have said look the law says the president can do this it's called temporary

00:13:28.220 and he's ending it and so this is a big deal because up to 600,000 or more Venezuelan illegal aliens led in

00:13:37.300 by Biden will lose their work permits lose their ability to stay and the issue is not so much that

00:13:43.860 they're all going to be rounded up and deported but that they are going to be they've clearly been told

00:13:49.640 uh you got to go back and in fact many if not most of them never even came from Venezuela they were

00:13:56.080 already living in Colombia and Ecuador and Peru for years and they came because you know Trump invited

00:14:03.420 I mean Biden invited them and so that essentially what the Supreme Court has said this is the second

00:14:09.480 time they've had to slap down the lower courts they've said Trump gets to tell these illegal immigrants

00:14:15.460 that the party's over and they need to leave

00:14:17.320 Mark hang on for one second I just want to hold you to the break about the implications and why

00:14:24.020 can't we just round them up and send them back um Mark Krikorian from CIS Todd Bensman as you know

00:14:30.880 is not with us anymore is almost like a co-host here for years because he's actually Tom Homan's

00:14:35.720 right-hand man now in the government working on these problems as a great representative of CIS just

00:14:42.440 amazing organization Kurt Mills Mark Krikorian next in the war room

00:17:36.860 excited what's happened the last couple years as they've learned this themselves the pattern

00:17:40.280 recognition it ain't the price of gold it's the process that drives the value of gold and gold as a

00:17:45.860 hedge against fiat currencies you learn that you're going to be in a different position a different

00:17:52.500 place financially trust me and you'll understand better the weird finances of the united states

00:17:59.080 government and all the lies and misrepresentations you're told every day mark kakorian so uh you said

00:18:06.040 they came from other countries okay here's i'm gonna have i've asked kurt males to stay around tasia's

00:18:10.180 going to join me um we have an amphibious and as captain finnell correctly or corrects me says

00:18:17.040 ban and sailor it's amphibious ready group okay we have an arg amphibious ready group with 4 000 fleet

00:18:23.880 marines and sailors off the coast of venezuela and today there's a great analysis actually kind of where

00:18:31.320 the ships are that i mean this is a big big big armada uh and marco and marco's got his war

00:18:38.620 right so how do we send 600 000 folks back to a war and and i'm all for hey let's round them up 0.95

00:18:46.660 and and show them the door uh and get them out of here but how do you do that in the middle of a

00:18:52.660 a shooting war sir well it's a couple things uh first don't get in the shooting war but i'll leave

00:18:59.200 that to kurt to talk about um but the other thing is a lot of these people came from like i said from

00:19:05.460 colombia from peru and ecuador uh and so they can go there and as far as deporting people i don't mean

00:19:13.180 self-deporting because a lot of people could self-deport that way i mean people we take into

00:19:17.180 custody and throw out the administration now has agreements with a variety of other countries

00:19:23.460 to deport third country nationals there to i'm pretty sure they have one they've already finished 1.00

00:19:30.300 it with honduras and they have it with other countries so some of these people especially

00:19:34.920 if they're not criminals the local government will say well if they're criminals maybe we don't want

00:19:38.680 them or you're gonna have to pay us more but if they're just regular working stiffs sure uh we'll 0.94

00:19:44.840 take them so we can deport them or they can deport themselves to a variety of places including 0.98

00:19:50.880 venezuela but if not there's a lot of other places in latin america that we they we can send

00:19:55.660 people or that they can go on their own overall because we haven't had you on in a while given

00:20:03.480 everything else president trump's got going how do you feel right now and by the way the whole thing

00:20:09.580 about antifa and what's happening in portland a lot in chicago in los angeles is all about the

00:20:16.080 beginning of the process of mass deportations right now i understand we've had two million

00:20:21.280 according to rosemary jenks two million uh we have two million illegal aliens or foreign nationalists

00:20:27.820 have left the country in the first 250 days of president trump's second term where but where

00:20:33.780 does cis where do you guys think we stand and given the severity of this given the reason that i think

00:20:40.120 most people would say this is why president trump won the 2024 election where do you think we stand

00:20:45.580 nine months into this i think we're doing pretty well um look there's stuff that i wish extra

00:20:51.880 things that i wish the administration would do but we are doing pretty well i mean that was our

00:20:56.460 research that showed that the total immigrant population has dropped by 2.2 million from january

00:21:02.760 through july we estimate 1.6 million of them were illegals and of course it's october now so the

00:21:08.740 number's even larger and we actually have a report coming out next week looking at that number from

00:21:14.480 other angles and it looks like it's real a lot of people poo-pooed it and said no no this is just

00:21:20.000 surveys what do they know but it's a real number the number of immigrants in general and illegals in

00:21:25.580 particular is going down and that's not hard to believe because there's always churn even under

00:21:31.340 biden some illegals left the point is fewer are coming in because the borders shut down there's still

00:21:37.240 people coming in on visas and not leaving but the number of new illegals is lower and more people 0.82

00:21:43.120 are leaving obviously and so this is a real thing the administration's got to keep it up

00:21:48.240 because it can't just be talk and rhetoric and scare people and then not back it up but they are backing

00:21:54.080 it up i would like to see more worksite enforcement uh and less talk of just criminals because yes

00:22:01.120 obviously we want criminals out that's uh you know you don't get a award for that but regular illegal

00:22:06.800 immigrants who aren't criminals aren't you know non-immigration criminals just ordinary working 0.99

00:22:11.200 people they need to go too and i'd like the president to talk a little bit more about that so

00:22:15.920 i'll give them an a minus but it's definitely an a minus i mean we are moving clearly in the right

00:22:21.840 direction and now the administration is taking steps to rein in this h1b issue which i'm sure you've

00:22:28.960 talked about before this is the uh supposedly legal immigration of tech workers which is a total scam

00:22:35.440 scam so um you know i'm feeling pretty good about it uh eight months in

00:22:40.640 kakorian if you're feeling pretty good directionally we're getting there where do you go cis is

00:22:47.760 magnificent give us your your social media brother you come in a little hot which is why i want people

00:22:53.120 to follow you where do you go um for the non-hot go to our website cis.org if you like the snark

00:23:01.120 and sarcasm i'm on twitter at mark s as in steven mark s krikorian we don't like it we love it thank

00:23:09.840 you sir thank you for taking saturday to join us appreciate you thank you kurt mills so kurt we're

00:23:17.200 talking about hemispheric defense we're gonna talk a lot tomorrow on our on our show about the 250

00:23:21.760 about a pivot back here to more the monroe doctrine from the arctic panama canal but latin america sitting

00:23:28.240 out there and somehow we got to get you know we got to help get things right you got lula an avid

00:23:33.680 marxist running a brazil and going to put he's put uh bolsonaro in prison for 27 years where they

00:23:40.160 where they're going to kill him no doubt uh he's leading the brics nations gold's on a roll and the 0.53

00:23:45.680 central banks are buying gold at record rates because they're trying to use gold in these bilat deals

00:23:50.320 and get the de-dollarization effort is led by lula uh you i know you libertarians like yourself uh all

00:23:57.920 the all the coke guys and libertarians you know rubbing up on middle a he's the greatest didn't 0.91

00:24:02.480 hear that here in the war room but now however you got to save him you got to save him scott

00:24:06.800 besson who's not into bailouts is giving him a 20 billion dollar bailout right and on top of that

00:24:12.880 little marco the the the our secretary of state who's we try to shift away from being a neocon i thought

00:24:18.640 we were there he's got an amphibious ready group off the coast of venezuela and they're up on capitol hill

00:24:25.280 pitching and this is the first time that the trump administration i think has ever acknowledged

00:24:30.720 issues structural issues or customs and traditions so they're trying to get ahead of the war powers act

00:24:36.240 by saying no no no no no you've misinterpreted these are non-state actors these are drug dealers

00:24:41.840 and we're gonna do a lot more than just taking out these speed boats the plan has i think been leaked

00:24:46.400 that they intend to at least a plan is to tend to take over the ports and transportation nodes in an

00:24:52.800 actual invasion uh your thoughts sir well the secretary doesn't appear to be able to give

00:24:59.600 up the old religion um as you are well aware in the first term uh the now secretary of state

00:25:05.600 uh was the key interlocutor with the administration selling the new president trump back in 17 18 19

00:25:12.000 on some of the most harebrained schemes for latin america uh members of trump first trump first team

00:25:17.760 uh namely mr bolton and mr pompeo uh were very zealous on this there was a bit of an abortive

00:25:23.200 effort to do that everyone remembers the juan guaidó episode and so there was a lot of hope that this

00:25:28.480 was kind of behind us but there are elements you know even members of president trump's club uh this

00:25:33.760 harry sergeant character uh as well as rick cornell who wanted to be secretary of state by most reporting

00:25:39.280 uh who wanted to do a deal basically with maduro uh maduro is a sort of um you know uh tin pot dictator

00:25:47.200 in south america uh but not necessarily a major threat to u.s national security and i think the

00:25:52.480 risks of going in versus going uh versus you know keeping our powder dry are pretty clear uh the latin

00:26:00.640 america has a lot of problems south america has a lot of problems but what it doesn't have historically

00:26:04.640 and venezuela is the one exception vis-a-vis colombia what it doesn't have is these massive

00:26:09.840 refugee crises that we saw in the syrian case in the libyan case and so i think the way to think

00:26:15.920 about maduro is as maybe a latino gaddafi and we what do we learn from the gaddafi case what do we

00:26:22.880 learn by not listening to gaddafi himself if you break it you buy it and you will see tons of people

00:26:28.720 flowing over so i think it is curious and you know i think he deserves due deference as a sort of

00:26:33.280 uh expert on this uh but you hearing uh that people like stephen miller uh aligned with marco rubio

00:26:40.080 for this regime change plan i think you could be completely counterproductive and then if we're

00:26:44.400 going to talk about fentanyl the reality there and i think there's concerning iraq war parallels

00:26:49.120 the reality here is some of these guys are just cooking this up um fentanyl is not what venezuela is

00:26:54.080 in the business of is there fentanyl in venezuela probably above zero but mexico is the fentanyl

00:26:59.760 the ccp and the mexican cartels are the fentanyl come on real quickly and i just want to hold you

00:27:07.360 to a quick break but if you believe in america first and we got in hemispheric defense

00:27:15.360 the question i want you to answer when we get back latin america is a festering sore you've got a

00:27:21.280 massive problem in argentina and if you don't somehow intervene it's going to spin out of control you've got

00:27:26.480 a huge problem in brazil and you do have a problem down uh in in uh in venezuela so if you do want

00:27:33.360 to argue hemispheric defense and come home and we'll have expeditionary power to do total obliteration

00:27:39.680 on the eurasian landmass if we so at times and places of our choosing how do you do this the argument

00:27:46.560 of marco and i think steve steven miller is that we got to set things right here in the western

00:27:52.160 hemisphere on my ass kurt mills that on the other side tage gills is going to join us sponsored by 0.81

00:29:51.200 patriot mobile glenster and the team historic of what they've helped us accomplish in texas including the

00:29:56.160 five seats we picked up of 21 that's the number the top number is 21 five in texas got 16 more to go

00:30:02.480 we're pounding on that starting monday we've done the preamble with degrasse of course we gotta

00:30:13.760 over the california situation as newsom has banked his uh political career on on winning this referendum

00:30:37.200 today tell them steve bannon sent you and you get a free month in transition kurt mills uh the question

00:30:46.960 of south america and uh about if we're going to have a hemispheric defense and enforce the monroe doctrine

00:30:55.200 2.0 uh you need to sort out the mess down there but is that just a is this just a new breeding ground

00:31:03.120 for neocon 3.0 sir oh it certainly could be i mean i think there's some uh positive uh tailwinds and some

00:31:10.800 some terrible headwinds so i i think the optimistic news is that the rumored national security strategy

00:31:16.320 coming out of the pentagon will emphasize hemispheric defense as you uh indicated and i think there's a way to

00:31:22.480 do that that's uh very grounded in american history the monroe doctrine is not some 20th century

00:31:28.240 invention not some 21st neocon stuff the fifth president united states uh enacted it and it has

00:31:33.600 worked very well for the u.s to be the dominant and unquestioned power in the americas and it's not

00:31:38.720 necessarily something it's surely not something that i that i would seek to overturn uh the danger

00:31:44.480 though and we just talked about russia ukraine earlier this morning the danger is of creating another

00:31:50.320 ukraine in the u.s's backyard president putin made a mistake in his special military operation it

00:31:57.280 backfired it didn't work he's recovering uh and the russians have moderated their goals but imagine

00:32:03.200 imagine an outright invasion of one of our neighbors that becomes a breeding ground for all of our enemies 0.80

00:32:09.760 to a uh encourage refuge massive refugee flows and b just muck it up i think we saw elements of this 0.69

00:32:17.200 in june with the iran crisis these reports are very very uh sort of loosely sourced but there

00:32:23.600 was indications that the chinese were planning to do some stuff if the war had dragged on if it had

00:32:28.720 become a regime change war i'm not at all convinced anymore that xi jinping is necessarily going to

00:32:34.320 invade taiwan but if he sees his opportunity it's like anything in life like with any gambler uh if he

00:32:40.480 sees the us mired in a war in ukraine and then opening up a new front in venezuela uh i think

00:32:46.320 you could see all kinds of intervention and there's all kinds of russian chinese and even yeah iranian

00:32:52.000 lebanese money coming in there and it's it could be a real risk for us we there's a way to do this

00:32:57.280 be moderate be pragmatic uh you know slowly move the maduro people towards uh a more reasonable

00:33:04.400 accommodation with the united states and avoid bloodshed um let's pay about i just want to get

00:33:11.600 you on uh israel before you punch i got a lot to say about the the national new national defense

00:33:16.400 policies coming out i think it's way too weak on the ccp and taiwan and all that but we'll bridge

00:33:21.280 colby and the guys are working on i'll have you back on maybe we'll get you on tomorrow during our

00:33:26.240 naval thing and talk about that the geopolitics and the strategy but um back to netanyahu

00:33:31.120 people don't remember most people don't know or not never learned or forgotten that churchill for

00:33:38.160 all the things he's lionized in the west and the greatest course i understand tucker and guys have

00:33:41.680 a different perspective but let's say he's one of the great leaders of the west in the 20th century

00:33:45.360 of christendom for all the years in the wilderness and coming and worrying about the nazis and and

00:33:49.840 actually keeping fdr focus and and being one of the key architects of victory no doubt about that he

00:33:56.080 the war the the germans surrendered on the 8th of may 1945 i believe it was mid-july of 1945 uh just

00:34:05.360 about 60 days later they called an election and winston tertia was turfed out before before the uh

00:34:15.120 before the surrender of japan of which obviously the british empire was a major part of that uh isn't

00:34:21.360 netanyahu in the same situation is this and his calculations all about his political viability

00:34:27.040 are they thinking right now in jerusalem and thinking through are they are they gaming out

00:34:32.880 how he can continue to hold power or end up being like churchill yeah i remember there's a cover piece

00:34:38.560 a year or two ago in the claremont review books my friends over there uh that it was by andrew roberts

00:34:44.080 the great uh sort of churchill stenographer who called uh netanyahu the churchill of the middle east

00:34:49.200 team ended as a compliment i think it's more of an accurate statement of fact which is that netanyahu

00:34:54.960 while the towering figure of the quarter century of israelic politics is also in uh invincibly

00:35:00.960 precarious one and if there is no war there could be no power for netanyahu we don't know his position

00:35:07.760 is certainly stronger and he was definitely underrated after the october seventh attacks uh but an election

00:35:13.680 is really dicey and you mentioned the churchill's situation uh he lost to a rival uh and not quite

00:35:21.360 as towering but still a significant figure in british politics clement atlee who had been the leader of

00:35:25.760 the opposition before the war and been leader of the labor party uh you know into the 30s uh neftali

00:35:32.560 bennett uh netanyahu's uh protege turned rival uh has already been prime minister and he could easily

00:35:39.680 sell himself as a safer conservative pair of hands that will just turn down the temperature a little

00:35:45.360 bit for a couple of years in israel i'm not i'm sure the white house and trump will have problems

00:35:50.160 with netanyahu and i think americans will have problems sorry will have problems with bennett and

00:35:53.760 i think there's reason to be concerned about bennett i have no love lost for him uh but this is a far

00:35:58.080 more stable figure netanyahu at this point needs the instability he needs the crisis it's almost a

00:36:04.400 sort of gormless uh desire uh for chaos chaos is how he stays in the mix

00:36:12.400 yeah uh kurt where do people get your social media and where they get you over the american

00:36:16.880 conservative yeah www the american conservative.com 2002 founded by pat buchanan and scott mcconnell

00:36:25.040 and taki against the iraq war and my own stuff is at kurt mills at c-u-r-t-m-i-l-l-s on x and you know

00:36:33.520 the internet so i think i'm pretty safe in saying the literally real first crowd you're their number

00:36:39.920 one they hate you probably more than anybody right i mean they talk about tucker and anna son but

00:36:44.080 you're you're kind of the the brains of the operation on the opposition so the smart guys

00:36:48.480 hate you more than even tucker am i right in saying that oh i think it's a friendly disagreement

00:36:53.360 kurt mills thank you for joining us sir appreciate you so tage gill um

00:37:04.640 president trump's team went up to capitol hill to kind of get a workaround on the war powers act

00:37:10.000 which by the way i think the war powers act is totally unconstitutional we ought to

00:37:14.480 try to push that to make sure we can get some just like the uh the um election electoral counter 1887

00:37:21.760 which uh is a i think a great document we played by the rules and the election in 2020 was illegal

00:37:28.240 but i also think that that has certain unconstitutional provisions and particularly

00:37:32.240 what they've done to it recently uh and he said we're not they said we're not going to war with

00:37:37.920 venezuela we're not going to war with mexico we're not going to war in central america we're going to

00:37:41.600 war against nons and they said we're actually at war with non-state actors these these uh cartels

00:37:47.760 and of course president trump has declared antifa a terrorist organization and now you got the us

00:37:53.600 army i don't know talking about the 82nd airborne or or uh others going actually be deployed to

00:37:58.800 portland asymmetric warfare how dangerous is this situation in venezuela and uh how quickly do you

00:38:07.040 think it can be sorted out if we'd go asymmetric actual kinetic war against these drug cartels sir

00:38:12.960 um it can it can get very dangerous but uh we'll see you know we took down pablo escobar and there

00:38:24.320 was not a lot of repercussions for that everybody said if we bombed iran there's going to be world war

00:38:29.520 three that didn't happen so i think the threat the threat that was on the table it needs to be realized

00:38:34.640 and we need to plan for it because we have there's cartels and and especially in the states where there's

00:38:40.480 legalized marijuana there's heavy cartel activity so they have cartel members in the u.s and you know

00:38:47.760 it's kind of like having a al-qaeda sleeper cells if we start attacking the cartels in venezuela and

00:38:52.320 mexico some people say that they're going to start launching terrorist attacks in the u.s but

00:38:58.160 that's worst case scenario we'll see it might happen might not but the this i think the safest way to

00:39:06.160 do it is using army special forces they go in and they work with the locals and attack the cartels

00:39:13.120 that way and then the more aggressive way to do it is is going to be the way we did asymmetrical warfare

00:39:18.400 in the global war on terrorism where we're launching uh direct action missions against these cartels

00:39:24.560 their supply land supply lines their training camps and their personnel and you know that's going to be

00:39:31.040 flying in the middle of the well it'll be treated as i think it would be treated as cross-border

00:39:37.120 missions i doubt we're going to go in and actually set up like forward operating bases in venezuela or

00:39:42.000 mexico where the cartels are it'll be like cross-border raids where we go in in the middle of the night

00:39:47.200 hit a target and then leave by sunrise but hang but but it has been leaked that there is a plan i'm not

00:39:53.520 saying they're executing but it's a plan that they're considering to see i mean this is now three or

00:39:58.080 four publications have it where they're thinking of going in and seizing key ports in venezuela and

00:40:04.480 maybe even uh transportation nodes rail rail lines or rail crossings etc what what would that that

00:40:11.680 would be a major escalation right even if you're going against non-state actors you're actually

00:40:16.080 physically there with with with troops and material actually on the ground that then have to be defended

00:40:22.400 correct yeah correct yeah yeah then yeah that that's a whole different story if we're seizing

00:40:28.480 ports and strategic targets that's different from striking the cartel personnel supply lines that i was

00:40:36.000 talking about so i mean that that's basically like a small-scale invasion in places and like you said once

00:40:42.000 we take those targets we have to hold them and defend them so that's a whole different ball of wax it's

00:40:48.400 it's it's it's i mean as you know it's possible we we invade countries all the time everywhere all

00:40:54.240 around the world so we've got the strongest military in the world and the most technological so

00:41:00.320 it's definitely possible and um uh i think i think we can do it without with without um sustaining

00:41:06.560 minimal casualties just because we have the technology and then you know we're going to get air dominance

00:41:12.880 overnight over there if we do that that's that's the whole thing if we control the air we

00:41:23.360 i think we'll control the air instantaneously right not just drones but combat air combat air

00:41:28.000 patrol um tase you're going to join us tomorrow for our naval special being you were a former your
