Steve Bannon said in an interview that President Trump could run for re-election in 2028, despite the Constitution limiting presidential candidates to two terms. What does this mean for the future of the presidency and the country as a whole?
00:00:06.700There's many different alternatives. At the appropriate time, we'll lay out what the plan is.
00:00:11.660So, Bob, the 22nd Amendment, pretty plain as day. It's very clear a person cannot be elected to president more than twice.
00:00:18.920So what do you make of Bannon's comments?
00:00:21.500Plain as day, to be sure. The U.S. Constitution says two terms only.
00:00:25.420But what's also plain as day, Tony, is that President Trump is close to Steve Bannon.
00:00:29.780Steve Bannon's close to people in Congress.
00:00:31.760And many Republicans want to see the president renominated in 28, despite what the Constitution says.
00:00:38.260And that could create a real legal showdown if he is renominated and the president accepts the nomination in 2028 again, despite the Constitution.
00:00:46.740You could have the Congress and the courts really face a standoff of whether this could move forward.
00:00:51.640And the courts would ultimately have a huge say, perhaps the say, over whether that could happen.
00:00:56.840But we're in such an unprecedented moment when you have the president's allies, some of his top allies, like Steve Bannon,
00:01:03.020actively toying with the idea of pushing him to be the candidate in 2028 and just see what happens.
00:01:10.040That's something that could be historic and also troubling for many Democrats who worry Trump's pushing the Constitution, pressuring it in an unnecessary way.
00:01:19.280Sir, Steve Bannon said in a recent interview that there could be plans for you to be able to run and potentially win a current term in 2028.
00:01:27.400Is that something you'd be willing to challenge in court to be?
00:01:29.880Well, I haven't really thought about it.
00:01:32.040We have some very good people, as you know.
00:01:34.580But I have the best poll numbers I've ever had.
00:01:39.260I mean, I just solved eight wars and a ninth is coming.
00:01:42.400I believe Russia, Ukraine will happen.
00:01:44.040But we just did, you know, we just left and when you look at the treaty we just did, that was a war that was thousands of people were already shot at the border.
00:01:55.000And when you look at what we just did, it was pretty amazing, pretty amazing.
00:02:01.220And I really have to thank Malaysia for that because they really the prime minister and everybody really helped get the two countries together.
00:02:08.760But it was it was quite a great peace treaty.
00:04:45.520Like, would he maybe just be happy that he got the ballroom named after him and and, you know, they're going to mint a coin with his face on it.
00:04:54.080You know, it's just it's hard to predict.
00:04:55.780And that's why the right way to look at this is probabilistically, like through probably through probabilities.
00:05:02.360You have a lot of pundits that you're incentivized in the pundit sphere to come on in a moment like this and be like, see, he's going to do it.
00:05:10.000Trump is trying to stay in 2028 or to go out there and be like, Trump's never going to be able to stay.
00:05:15.840There's no chance he's going to stay like that is, you know, how you make a point on one of those panels with Scott Jennings on CNN.
00:05:53.320And we should take that possibility seriously.
00:05:56.120Looking beyond President Trump, what should Americans hope for in foreign policy?
00:06:02.720What should the priority be for the next president, given this battle between autocrats and Democrats and the United States is shifting role right now within it?
00:06:14.460And in fact, my book is written for if we're going to be in this new Cold War for decades, my book is written for decades, not just what should Trump do tomorrow.
00:06:22.880And in my world, there's kind of three big debates, right?
00:06:56.840And then finally, most controversially, there's a debate between those that say we should promote democracy in the world and those that say that's not our problem.
00:07:04.940I've looked at 250 years of history, especially the Cold War, and we have been hypocritical from time to time.
00:07:12.860Apartheid South Africa was our allies during the Cold War.
00:07:15.460But in the long run, I think making democracy promotion a key pillar of American foreign policy has served us well in the past and will serve us well deep into the 21st century, even if President Trump today disagrees with me.
00:07:31.960This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
00:07:39.800Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
00:07:45.020You've just not got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
00:07:49.280The people have had a belly full of it.
00:08:58.140In knowing Scott, it's not going to kowtow to the Chinese Communist Party.
00:09:03.060But we do have an inkling that the knife to our throat, that is the new restrictions, the export restrictions on the heavy rare earths, is going to be delayed at least a year and maybe two.
00:09:18.140Which would be a game changer for everything we're trying to work on here in the reindustrialization of the United States and should be an object lesson to those globalists who allowed all the processing capability to go to the Chinese Communist Party.
00:09:34.680So whether it is generic drugs, anything on the supply chain, ball bearings, what have you, component pieces, the Chinese Communist Party is prepared to send a flare-up for economic, full economic warfare against the United States.
00:09:53.500Now, it doesn't mean if you have a mortal enemy, you can't reach some sort of rapprochement, at least on the interim basis.
00:10:00.200Scott Besson has announced he has a framework.
00:10:02.060It will not include us going to 100 percent tariffs.
00:10:06.660We don't know what it entails with Taiwan.
00:10:09.280They have announced that the president is going to meet now Thursday, Korea time in South Korea, that Xi and President Trump are going to meet.
00:10:19.760So – and we will cover this live when we get to a specific time.
00:10:24.980But we assume right now that we're going to be live at approximately 10 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Wednesday night to basically cover this historic meeting.
00:10:34.840They've also implied – haven't been official statements.
00:10:39.820They implied that President Trump is going to go to China in January to meet with Xi and that Xi would then come back to the United States either a meeting at the White House and or Mar-a-Lago.
00:10:51.580But – and he would do that either in the summer or the fall.
00:10:56.760So a tremendous amount of what this – what this trip has really been for President Trump is to engage directly with Scott Besson with the Chinese Communist Party and make sure that we can work something out.
00:11:08.280Look, we're the decoupling faction as we – and we think the historical record proves correctly that we should have decoupled and we must decouple at some point in time because they're going to continue to reach for a knife to our throat whenever they can because they're our mortal enemy, mortal enemy of the Chinese people, Lao Bai Jing, and mortal enemy of the United States and citizens of the United States.
00:11:36.160That being said, President Trump is trying to accommodate and trying to balance many things as he tries to bring the Third World War to an end.
00:11:46.260He's had another peace treaty in Southeast Asia, signed another group of trade deals which were very important in showing the Chinese Communist Party that you can be isolated on commercial relationships financially by East Asia.
00:12:03.000He's going to Japan right now to send that message also.
00:12:06.220He'll be in South Korea even though that's led by a party that is very close to the Chinese Communist Party.
00:12:12.360President Trump has sent him the message whether it's in Kuala Lumpur or whether it's in Japan or whether it's in Korea.
00:12:19.480He's also announced he's prepared to stay longer.
00:12:22.520And President Trump, if you know him, is not a person that likes to take long overseas trips, but he's prepared to stay longer to meet with the head of North Korea.
00:12:31.520The only shortcoming or problem with it, he doesn't have time to go to the Philippines and Taiwan.
00:12:39.580Would love to go into Taiwan, but not going to do that.
00:12:42.360Although Taiwan is going to come up in this discussion on Thursday.
00:12:58.660Absolutely saved him as he – the comeback he had was overwhelming vis-a-vis where he was when he got skunked in these local elections about a month ago.
00:13:08.420Scott Besant properly thought through that this was a strategic deal to support the – what the Argentine peso.
00:13:17.360So to keep Millay in and keep him in, he did.
00:13:21.060Now, that being said, we've got to balance what these hedge funds made as far as profits off this versus what the farmers are going to get hit with the Argentine beef.
00:13:33.420Also, we've got to make sure that Argentina is totally cut off the Chinese Communist Party.
00:13:39.000Remember, all these things in South America right now are strategic in nature.
00:13:44.380About Monroe Doctrine 2.0, about hemispheric defense, about getting the Chinese Communist Party out.
00:13:51.360But you also have to move with discernment, particularly in places that are on the edge like in Venezuela and Argentina.
00:14:00.680But the financial bets got made and said, hey, strategically, we've got to support Millay because we need hemispheric defense.
00:14:08.280And hemispheric defense, one of the foundational elements of it is making sure that we take care of Latin America.
00:14:16.960We don't have left-wing communist pro-CCP governments like Lula in Brazil.
00:14:23.940I know we're playing footsie with Lula right now because of the rare earth.
00:15:07.360For every $5,000 purchased from Birch Gold Group this month in advance of Veterans Day,
00:15:14.100they will send you a free patriotic silver round that commemorates the Gadsden and American flags.

00:15:56.260I encourage you to diversify your savings into gold.
00:16:00.300Text my name, Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N, to number 989898 for a free info kit and to claim your eligibility for free silver with qualifying purchase before the end of the month.
00:16:11.360Again, text my name, Bannon, to 989898.
00:16:15.600You will get the ultimate guide, which is free, for investing in gold and precious metals in the age of Trump.
00:16:57.120Gold is bouncing around a lot, particularly as the market gets more and more comfortable that, hey, maybe President Trump's going to put to bed the trade war with the Chinese Communist Party.
00:17:08.800He's not totally going to put it to bed because they're at war with us.
00:17:12.640What he's doing is the best he can do given he's been dealt a terrible hand.
00:17:18.600The globalists allowed all the processing for heavy rare earths to leave this country on Obama's watch.
00:17:28.140But on Obama's watch with Biden as vice president, the processing for heavy rare earths and magnets, things like that we need for heavy industrial production was basically taken apart and shipped because the Chinese Communist Party's bought it for like under a billion dollars.
00:17:46.480And how did that happen without having a full review?
00:18:50.580It's the only way we're going to get to the bottom of this.
00:18:54.980So if President Trump is, you know, between Argentina and Brazil and trying to settle the Middle East,
00:19:04.100if you look at what he's juggling, that no president since FDR in World War II has had to juggle on so many different fronts with Orban today,
00:19:15.520saying that Viktor Orban, the hero, told the EU he's going to – because one country can block things.
00:19:20.020He's not going to go along with the stealing of the Russian people's assets.
00:19:25.480That being said, more than ever, you need to understand why gold is a hedge against times of turbulence
00:19:31.080and why it's the new rising asset class for central banks and money center banks.
00:19:36.820The way you do that, you start off with texting Bannon at 989898, the ultimate guide for investing in gold and precious metals.
00:19:44.480Don't forget silver in the age of Trump.
00:19:47.000But most importantly, what this does is give you access to talk to Philip Patrick and the team.
00:19:51.520You heard Philip Patrick's brilliance on the Saturday show.
00:19:55.260If you have not, you should go back and listen to the last half hour of the show.
00:21:36.980And why, you know, the Israel first crowd, as I warned them, as I warned them, have done nothing but focus on their problem coming from Tehran,
00:22:24.200Once they seize control of the apparatus in New York, they're not giving up.
00:22:27.160You're going to have to take a trenching tool and get them out.
00:22:30.160Now, I think there's a couple ways to do it in advance.
00:22:32.420Number one, his citizenship is totally illegal.
00:22:38.180And Andy Ogles and others in Congress are waking up to this fact.
00:22:40.960But you've got to wake up to the fact in DHS.
00:22:43.800He's got to be denaturalized because his naturalization process was fouled.
00:22:49.500He's got to be sent out of the country.
00:22:51.900Also, Randy Fine, who's probably the most, you know, brutal or, you know, out there Israel first guy, has a great, he's put a great proposal up to Congress.
00:23:37.480And you're seeing this now all over the place, particularly the rising tide, what you see in Portland, what you see in Chicago, what you see in Los Angeles.
00:23:44.440What you're seeing is not native-born Americans who have no allegiance to this country that are voting in jihadist Marxist into office.
00:23:54.900If you think this is going to be reversed easily, you are incorrect.
00:23:59.860Mark Mitchell, you've done some amazing polling on all this, and the tech bros all sit there and think they just keep – they sit there and just tell us, oh, it's all going to be fine.
00:24:08.200We're going to live in an era of abundance.
00:24:10.700It's abundance for them, but it's red in tooth and claw for everybody else.
00:24:15.820Your thoughts are particularly on Mandami and what he represents when he comes to power.
00:24:30.480When you're on the road, it's a little hard to produce these shows.
00:24:33.200Mark Mitchell's got polling on basic economic populism and how it relates to capitalism today.
00:24:41.300Economic populism is what the people want.
00:24:45.000What's being foisted on them is not capitalism.
00:24:49.040It's corporatism or state capitalism where the broligarchs and the oligarchs get special treatment, special advantages offered up by the state to – or the deep state in order to remain as monopolist and oligarchs with no competition.
00:25:11.860And they're essentially rent seekers while everybody else kind of fights for this tiny piece of the pie that's out there.
00:25:48.880I got college debt that I can't pay off.
00:25:50.920Now I'm going to get credit card debt that I'm going to use all these buy now, pay later, which is just nothing more than being an indentured servant because your current cash income can't support the lifestyle.
00:26:06.140In the metropolitan area where you have to live, because the metropolitan areas where they have to live in cubicle culture is so exorbitantly expensive.
00:26:33.900And when Mondami gets in, President Trump said, hey, not on my watch.
00:26:39.060I'm not going to support a guy in New York City that's trying to become – trying to put a Marxist jihadist government into the financial capital world.
00:26:49.500President Trump is going to take action, I think very, very harsh action, to make sure that this does not get – that this does not start to seize the institutions of the apparatus of the government of New York City.
00:27:01.400But you can see from the numbers right now, the reason Mondami is going to win is the overwhelming support of foreign-born voters.
00:27:12.060And you're going to have that as the nation becomes more and more MAGA, becomes more and more red.
00:27:16.660Ninety percent of counties are already support President Trump and MAGA.
00:27:20.880You're going to see these great metropolitan areas, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, become more and more radical.
00:27:32.760Not just with – not just sanctuary cities, but far, far, far worse.
00:27:38.400And a decision is going to have to be made.
00:27:41.460But these are essentially neoconfederate operations that think they just – they don't have to be part of the country.
00:27:49.940Have you looked at your power bill lately?
00:27:53.980Electricity prices are at all-time highs, and they're only going up.
00:27:58.380Even worse, power outages are becoming more and more common.
00:28:02.120In fact, according to the Department of Energy, blackouts could increase 10,000 percent over the next few years.
00:28:08.460If you don't have a backup generator for your home, it's time to get one.
00:28:12.520The one I recommend is the GridDoctor 3300 solar generator from our friends at MyPatriotSupply.
00:28:20.180Unlike gas generators, it's quiet, fume-free, and safe to use indoors.
00:28:25.360Yet it's powerful enough to run almost everything in your home.
00:28:30.160And with the free solar panel included, you'll have unlimited off-grid power to outlast any storm, blackout, or grid failure.
00:28:37.580Best of all, you can get the GridDoctor 3300 for zero down and as little as $104 a month when you shop at MyPatriotSupply.com slash Bannon.
00:28:49.100That's right, 3300 watts of backup power delivered to your door for zero dollars down.
00:28:55.940See the page for more details at MyPatriotSupply.com slash Bannon.
00:30:34.620You have a Marxist – first off, you have a Ugandan citizen that's only been naturalized here illegitimately and illegally six years.
00:30:44.840You have a Ugandan citizen that would not have any idea where his money comes from, no idea what his real background is, who's running as a Marxist jihadist and is not shy about that.
00:30:56.500He made an excuse the other day on 9-11 and said his aunt – his aunt was the victim because she couldn't walk around in a burke anymore.
00:31:04.280This guy couldn't be more than your grill.
00:31:06.260And so how does a city that flaunts its superiority to the rest of the country and that MAGA is a bunch of rubes and they're this brilliant elite, moneyed elite of both parties, not just democrats.
00:31:18.900How are they about to elect the Bolsheviks to take over the financial cap of the world, ma'am?
00:31:45.180And, you know, in one of my essays I took apart one of the polls, it was cherry-picked early on trying to show that he was, you know, the frontrunner.
00:31:53.620They've been trying to create this atmosphere of invincibility.
00:31:56.320But notice that no one in the legacy media asked what a head-to-head between Mamdani and Sliwa would look like, the Republican candidate.
00:32:06.420And when they finally asked that question, the pollster finally asked that question two weeks before Election Day, it turns out that this whole time –
00:35:53.220The people around him couldn't be more radical.
00:35:54.820As bad as Cuomo is, and Cuomo is terrible, Adams and Sliwa never had a shot, and Cuomo was never getting out of the race.
00:36:02.320So you had to get the two other ones out, and they weren't going to go.
00:36:04.740Adams at the last second kind of reluctantly, and Sliwa is out there banging the drum, and he'll get his 9 percent or 10 percent, and you'll turn the city over to Vandami.
00:36:14.780So talk to us about Vandami, particularly – he's Sadiq Khan on steroids.
00:36:21.320What's going to happen when you have a Marxist jihadist?
00:36:25.640He puts a happy face on the TikToks and dancing around the aisle of a grocery store, but he hasn't swerved from his radical underpinnings.
00:36:38.480I mean the other day, he basically – on 9-11, the worst thing that happened on 9-11 was his aunt that couldn't walk around in a burka unless people gave her stink eyes, right?
00:36:48.080So talk to me about what Vandami is going to do and how you're going to get him after he wins.
00:36:56.500Well, first, I do want to say I agree with you.
00:36:58.220One of them, Sliwa or Cuomo has got to step aside for New York to be saved, a Marxist slash jihadist leadership, and I hope one of them does.
00:37:08.480It's for the good of this country and that beautiful city.
00:37:14.260My essay, The Green-Red Revolution on Substack, really makes the case that the whole scenario that I've been sharing with your audience, you all have informed me about it very much since 2021,
00:37:27.120which is there's a globalist elite and they're trying to kind of wipe out the West for their own nefarious purposes.
00:37:33.580And in the past, it's been, as I argued, an alliance between kind of big tech and the World Economic Forum and China being the kind of driver or cat's paw to do away with the West.
00:37:46.060And I talked about how pharmaceuticals and other nefarious subversive tactics were being used to tenderize us, to weaken us.
00:37:54.400Unrestricted warfare is, I guess, what it's called by China experts.
00:37:58.580Well, I think that what happened, and this is the case I make in my essay, is that in 2025, most of the world of the West woke up to some, if not all, of those plans and who the evildoers were.
00:38:10.580So people are investing in gold, they are trying to scale down their surveillance technology items around them, they're trying to, you know, go to natural healers and trying to avoid big pharma and big medicine.
00:38:24.560They're trying to source their food directly from the farmer.
00:38:27.280They're kind of trying to get out of the target of that cabal, and that cabal is losing.
00:38:34.760You've got Maloney, you've got, you know, in Italy, you've got alternatives for Deutschland and Germany.
00:38:40.560You've got all of these nationalist, sovereign nation-oriented anti-immigration parties in the ascendancy in Europe.
00:38:47.480And in Japan, you've got a new sovereignist, nationalist anti-immigration leader.
00:38:53.680And so the globalists are in a lot of trouble.
00:39:05.500I hate to be kind of finger-pointing on the basis of religion.
00:39:08.800But I had to face the fact, especially looking at what's going on in Britain, that the globalists are using extremist Islam, not every Muslim person, but fundamentalist, kind of tribalist, kind of, you know, medieval Islam, right, to tenderize and destroy the West.
00:39:31.000And they're doing it in a very, very, very systematic and targeted way.
00:39:34.480So you see this two-tier policing in Britain, two-tier judiciary, where native-born Britons are being given long prison sentences for, you know, tweets.
00:39:44.840And meanwhile, central London is uninhabitable because you've got massive crowds of furious extremist fundamentalists saying death to this and death to that.
00:39:57.080And, you know, disruptions of classrooms, disruptions of civil society.
00:40:03.480You see it in Michigan now, where, you know, Islamist elected officials are basically telling native-born Michiganders that their voices don't count.
00:40:13.480You see, you know, Ilhan Omar saying, you know, my country, referring to not the United States.
00:40:20.480You see this escalation of a kind of Islamist empowerment by authorities in the West, including in the United States.
00:40:28.620Well, I think that's a switching of the weaponry by the globalists.
00:40:34.120And so now when it comes to Mamdani, I'm getting very, very, very, very frightened because I'm a former political consultant, as I often say.
00:40:41.840And reading with that hat the last few weeks, Steve, nothing this guy is doing is normal winning politics.
00:40:48.720You don't keep talking about 9-11 in a city that was traumatized by, you know, jihadist terrorism in 2001, two weeks leading up to the mayoral election.
00:41:02.980If you really want to win, you kind of convene everyone around other issues people were loving, the fake agenda of fast, free buses, free childcare, state-run grocery stores, you know, affordable housing, even though he can't deliver any of that without horrific damage to the city.
00:41:18.800But you don't, it's not a winning tactic to say to, you know, to be photographed with Piker, the streamer who says America deserved 9-11 or to even give a whole press conference about the real victim of 9-11 is his auntie who, you know, didn't want to wear her hijab on the subway.
00:41:38.000It turns out, by the way, that his auntie is an NGO expert in gender rights and reproductive health and all these haram subjects, like forbidden by Islam subjects.
00:41:59.320But the point is, you don't do that if you want to win.
00:42:01.280And so what I am seeing is certainly that he's going to win because I'm sure that the polls are compromised and there's a whole generation of young New Yorkers, as you and I were discussing before the camera started, who have been thoroughly propagandized, whether they're Jewish or Muslim or Christian or agnostic or atheist.
00:42:23.700They thoroughly hear this laundry list and they think that is going to solve my life.
00:42:29.400It's going to give me a mission like this thing, you know, this gathering with AOC and Bernie Sanders.
00:42:35.080They've taken from every trope of the civil rights movement and the labor movement and, you know, a revival meeting, like everything that could give alienated TikTok generation millennials a sense of purpose and belonging and community.
00:45:08.040The de-dollarization movement that is upon us.
00:45:11.020We have engine rooms all over the country.
00:45:12.880One of the smartest we have is in New York City.
00:45:14.400They informed me during our chat that we're losing New York City because of populism or phony populism because it's kind of populism that's pitched.
00:45:26.100Let's leave Israel off to the side for a second.
00:45:28.140But one of the complaints and one of the concerns of a lot of MAGA is that President Trump is solving the problems of the world, trying to stop the Third World War, but spending an inordinate amount of time doing it and that enough focus is not on domestic issues.
00:45:42.660I think you're going to see these domestic bilats in the Oval start coming in the next couple of months.
00:45:47.620But that Mandami came up with affordability.
00:45:51.520Mark Mitchell is going to be with us some polling about economic populism, about all of it that's going to blow your head up, particularly about younger generations.
00:46:21.760I think it's just that grown-up, real American politicians know that the mayor of New York City doesn't have the power to provide free childcare to everyone in the city who needs it,
00:46:33.260or fast free buses without, you know, billions of dollars in holes being blown into the budget and, you know, economic chaos.
00:46:41.900So I do think, that said, that the president needs a message team that can explain how Americans are going to benefit, for instance, from peace in the Middle East or the end of the conflict in Gaza.
00:47:22.920It was a good, you know, slogan back in the day.
00:47:25.740And he's doing it, but he needs to explain it better.
00:47:28.060And I definitely would agree that he has a little bit of a spotlight syndrome in the sense that if he's zooming around the world, bringing peace in all these conflict regions, which is pretty incredible.
00:47:40.020And, you know, the hand of the divine is clearly upon him right now.
00:47:43.520He does need someone very forceful, intelligent at home to, you know, to highlight the economic benefits, highlight have eggs gone down, has gas gone down, or, you know, how many new jobs, interviewing those workers at those new plants that are, you know, are hiring now.
00:48:04.080It's not as glamorous as, you know, jetting all over the world to bring peace with giant numbers of leaders.
00:48:09.340But I do agree that he needs to tell that story and have someone at home to do it.
00:48:14.600But you agree that – you agree though – I'm not sure anybody but him can do it, but you agree that you can show the connections between – you can show the connections between Argentina and what's happening here or bringing peace to East Asia or blocking the Chinese Communist Party, that those interconnections are there.
00:48:36.580You just have to take the time – you have to do it every day.
00:48:41.240But you explain that and people here will understand, okay, he is taking care of things here because he's settling down things that we would get involved in or be dragged into or it costs us money to avoid.
00:48:55.980And respectfully, I would say you do that every day on your podcast.
00:48:59.680You take incredibly complicated geopolitical and economic issues and tell pretty accessible stories about them to the American people.
00:49:08.240And, you know, as you know, because that's why War Room is popular, you know, the American people are well smart enough to follow a good, clear explanation if someone bothers to sit down and explain it to them.
00:49:20.440So I do disagree that no one else can do it, maybe not as well as the president, maybe better.
00:49:26.200You know, he's not fabulous at telling a very, you know, linear story.
00:49:30.860He's fabulous at a lot of other things, but he can create – I mean, he's got a lot of talented people on his team.
00:49:38.980A lot of telegenic people, a lot of incredibly impressive women.
00:49:42.360One, I'm actually thinking of Monica Crowley, who would be fantastic at this kind of job, just explaining, you know, the benefit to the American people of what he's battling around the world.
00:49:54.840And the other thing is, I think he's forgetting to run the victory lap for Americans.
00:50:00.060You know, I was just reading a book about the 200-year Jewish war against Rome.
00:50:04.720And whenever the Roman Empire had a giant conquest, they would, you know, build a triumphal arch and have a promenade and a celebration, and they would show the booty that they brought back from that conquered area to the Roman people, and they would get the benefit, the political capital of that.
00:50:22.720Well, I don't see that the president is doing that enough.
00:50:25.280I'm not saying literally bring home the booty and parade it around, but I think that more language about we are, you know, respected again around the world, we are the peacemakers of, you know, again, in the world, we are first among equals, we are, you know, America is – has a burnished reputation again after, you know, a long time of being laughed at and mocked and humiliated.
00:50:49.440I think that would go a long way, you know, we are, you know, we are a city on a hill.
00:50:55.320I think people are, you know, elected him because they want to feel that again, and they can feel it because of what he's doing.
00:51:00.640And there's so many easy stories, like Jared Kushner was saying in an interview that, you know, private business relationships brought about, or maybe it was his colleague, Witkoff, brought about the investment in Gaza
00:51:18.220that is helped to bring about this peace.
00:51:22.000And I think that what they did with bringing in kind of carrot incentives economically instead of just old school diplomacy is brilliant.
00:51:37.520You know, we've saved gazillions of dollars because private – you know, the private sector stepped in to build stuff, you know, so that Palestine will be happy and stop –
00:51:48.140you know, risking our kids going to war and risking other, you know, innocent people dying.
