Bannon's War Room - Episode 5000： Was The Brown University Shooting A Targeted Attack

00:00:00.000 The gunmen were inspired by Islamic State ideology after police say they found a pair of homemade Islamic State flags in a car belonging to one of the suspects.

00:00:12.420 Authorities have identified them as a father and son.

00:00:16.400 The 50-year-old father was fatally shot at the scene.

00:00:19.580 The 24-year-old son suffered critical injuries and is currently in the hospital.

00:00:24.640 Additionally, Australian police say they are investigating a recent trip authorities say the two suspects took to the Philippines to receive, quote, military-style training.

00:00:37.900 Bring us up to date. Have you heard from the Department of Defense and this investigation now that has been launched?

00:00:43.740 And, Senator, also, what do you think about your latest ally, Pete Hegseth?

00:00:48.900 Well, yeah, I mean, where's that guy been?

00:00:50.740 I mean, Pete Hegseth of 2016 makes a ton of sense, and now he's proven to be the most unqualified secretary of defense we've ever had.

00:01:00.080 I still have not been notified by the Department of Defense or the United States Navy.

00:01:06.460 It has been – I've actually heard nothing.

00:01:09.280 We do see some stuff on social media from time to time.

00:01:12.200 So, Senator, have you been asked to, say, turn over documents, just trying to get to the bottom of whether this is an actual investigation or is it like a social media campaign?

00:01:22.680 It's probably the latter, at least for now.

00:01:25.860 And this is escalation, right?

00:01:27.380 They say something about a command investigation without even explaining what that is.

00:01:31.840 And, by the way, I found out about that from the new press corps at the Pentagon, which consists of Matt Gaetz and the Pizzagate conspiracy guy that now work over there.

00:01:44.000 So that's how we hear about this stuff.

00:01:46.740 So, you know, from my perspective, it doesn't seem, you know, very serious.

00:01:51.740 So we do have to take this seriously.

00:01:54.180 Yeah.

00:01:54.380 And, you know, I've got attorneys and we're going to, you know, mount a strong defense.

00:01:59.380 This is all about escalation and intimidation.

00:02:02.380 But in this case, they got the wrong guy.

00:02:05.360 I'm not going to back off. 0.99

00:02:06.480 I'm not going to stop doing my job because Donald Trump said I should be hanged and executed.

00:02:12.060 And Hegseth says, you know, there's going to be an investigation under the Uniform Code of Military Justice for, by the way, saying what is in the UCMJ.

00:02:21.960 During the raid on John Bolton's house, he was tweeting about the search as it was going on, which directly puts the involved agent's lives in danger if people flock to the scene and decide to take issue.

00:02:38.160 With respect to the plot that was unmasked in Michigan, I think around Halloween, it was reported recently in the Wall Street Journal that his tweeting about that arrest before other nationwide efforts were complete caused other suspects in other regions of the country involved with the case to speed up their plans to leave the United States.

00:03:04.460 So at the most basic level, he is throwing a wrench in the works of the investigative process with every tweet or pronouncement he makes without actually knowing the facts.

00:03:19.000 Now, this has other consequences, too.

00:03:21.520 It is incredibly cruel, as we just saw, to the community of Providence, and particularly the students at Brown, who thought for a moment that they were safe, that the problem was contained, and that they did not need to worry anymore.

00:03:39.020 And we've got to note, there are students there for whom this is their second mass shooting.

00:03:44.720 That's probably another topic.

00:04:14.720 There are students there for whom this is their second mass shooting, and that they did not need to worry about.

00:04:19.720 And that might have caused us to lose a tip, to not check certain surveillance footage, to not review license plate readers.

00:04:29.120 It could have caused any number of things that should have happened not to.

00:04:33.220 Providence, Rhode Island, is small, but their police force is who is running this.

00:04:38.220 Cash has come out and said that the FBI out of Boston is coming in to assist, but technically, you know, they don't have jurisdiction over it unless it's confirmed that it's domestic terrorists or that the suspect crossed state lines.

00:04:49.220 And so I think having the Providence police, though, lead this has kind of proven that I think it's too small and that the FBI does need to come in and really take this over.

00:04:57.980 But the governor has to request that, and so I'm hoping that that happens soon, because I don't believe that this is just some random attack.

00:05:05.400 There's a pattern of these attacks.

00:05:06.840 Three months ago, we watched as Charlie Kirk got assassinated on live television, and then President Trump has had two assassination attempts against his life.

00:05:14.940 More than half the cabinet and White House staff have all had to move on to military bases due to the threats against their lives.

00:05:21.560 I mean, Alina Habba and Ed Martin have both been attacked.

00:05:24.320 Stephen and Katie Miller had to move out of their home because left-wing lunatics were riding in chalk every morning on their driveway, death threats. 0.91

00:05:32.160 A left-wing sniper just murdered three people at an ICE facility in Texas.

00:05:36.120 We just had two National Guard troops gunned down in D.C.

00:05:39.400 I mean, I can go on and on, but, like, there's a pattern here, and it is a pattern of left-wing violence against conservatives, against Christians, and we have got to stop it.

00:05:50.320 And this takes the FBI's full and present attention.

00:05:56.080 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.

00:06:00.960 Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.

00:06:04.940 The president's not got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.

00:06:10.560 The people have had a belly full of it.

00:06:12.520 I know you don't like hearing that.

00:06:13.940 I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.

00:06:16.580 It's going to happen.

00:06:17.860 And where do people like that go to share the big lie?

00:06:21.260 Mega media.

00:06:22.620 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.

00:06:27.960 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?

00:06:31.160 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.

00:06:38.080 War Room.

00:06:39.000 Here's your host, Stephen K.

00:06:41.080 Band.

00:06:46.560 Tuesday, 16 December, Year of Our Lord 2025.

00:06:49.420 We've got the Pizzagate guy that's living rent-free in Captain Mark Kelly's head as Mark Kelly gets recalled to active duty and put on trial for his sedition and treason.

00:07:02.320 Jack Posobiec joins us.

00:07:04.480 Caroline Wren with that magnificent rant yesterday that kind of summed it all up.

00:07:08.920 We're going to start today.

00:07:09.700 We're going to go from Providence, Rhode Island to Savannah, Georgia, and talk about some of the deep problems in this country that must, the attention must be paid.

00:07:21.480 Caroline Wren, this situation, I got enough that Poso had a prerecord he was doing, working on a show.

00:07:27.320 He's so upset about this.

00:07:28.560 He said, hey, I got to jump on here at the start with Caroline.

00:07:31.100 Caroline Wren, this thing of this targeting of this heroic, beautiful young conservative that was gunned down up at Brown, I don't understand.

00:07:41.760 And one of the folks put up one of these satirical tweets.

00:07:48.360 I think we've got it.

00:07:49.140 That's got like the Mars moon landing or Mars landing in high definition from, I don't know, six zillion light years away versus Sasquatch, right?

00:08:01.000 The one thing they've got with 800 cameras, facial recognition, they've got Sasquatch from, I don't know, 500 yards away.

00:08:11.520 That's just a blob walking down the street in a jacket and a mask.

00:08:14.940 But is enough attention being paid to Brown University, the most left wing of all the Ivies, in this young heroic conservative that was murdered in cold blood, ma'am?

00:08:29.040 No, enough attention is absolutely not being paid to this.

00:08:31.840 I mean, we are now three days later.

00:08:34.140 We still don't know the height, weight, a basic description even of the Brown University shooter.

00:08:39.300 And this, I mean, he walked into a lecture hall with 60 students and he opened fire.

00:08:45.980 Now, I went to college 20 years ago, but when I went to college, we'd have a student ID to even access a building.

00:08:52.820 And Brown University is the, one of the most expensive elite universities.

00:08:57.000 So how did this guy just waltz into a lecture hall, into any building on campus, and then into a classroom and open fire?

00:09:03.680 Did he have a student ID?

00:09:05.480 Did he shoot a student on his way into a room and use his key fault?

00:09:08.800 Like, how do we not even have information like that that they are putting out?

00:09:12.380 All they've put out is a video that, to me, appears like it was actually taken from someone's ring camera at their home, out of him out on a street.

00:09:20.860 No video or pictures of this man actually on the campus of Brown University.

00:09:24.660 So either they are withholding that information, which, why would you withhold that?

00:09:28.940 That makes no sense.

00:09:29.840 Put it out in the public and let's find this guy.

00:09:32.300 Look at those.

00:09:32.940 Or you don't have it, which means you did not, you were not protecting the beautiful students at your university that you are in charge of protecting and taking care of.

00:09:42.240 They pay $100,000 in tuition.

00:09:45.340 You have an $8 billion endowment.

00:09:47.660 And you don't have cameras or key fob access into your classrooms?

00:09:51.740 But something else is screwy.

00:09:54.480 Exams were supposed to start this week.

00:09:56.980 This is a Saturday afternoon, I think, at 3 or 4 o'clock in the afternoon.

00:10:00.160 This is kind of a makeup.

00:10:01.280 This is a last-second come.

00:10:04.160 It's an economics 110, I think.

00:10:06.360 You know, freshman economics, principals economics.

00:10:09.280 A teaching assistant is holding a, okay, we're going to go on the blackboard and basically talk about what's going to be on the exam.

00:10:15.500 You're going to have to learn it yourself.

00:10:17.440 You've got two days to cram because most of you haven't been to class.

00:10:20.280 But it's not on any register that they're having a 4 o'clock class.

00:10:24.140 Just a 4 o'clock class is there as a prep.

00:10:27.360 There's so much information that's out there and no clues at all, or at least they're coming forward, about who to search for, what to look for, how to do it.

00:10:35.580 They've sent everybody on campus home.

00:10:37.220 Hell, they may have sent the killer home.

00:10:39.240 We don't have – there's not 100% there wasn't somebody on campus.

00:10:43.820 Yet they sent everybody home right away, ma'am.

00:10:46.480 They told everyone that they didn't think there was any – that they'd caught the guy and that there was no imminent threat on campus.

00:10:54.180 Turned out they caught the wrong guy.

00:10:56.120 So there still, in my mind, probably was a very imminent threat on campus unless this was a targeted shooting.

00:11:01.860 And he went in there with the intention of targeting Ella Cook, who was the 19-year-old beautiful girl from Mountain Brook, Alabama, who had the courage and bravery and audacity, I guess, to be the vice chair of the college Republicans.

00:11:14.520 If you mind, the university paper at Brown did a poll one month ago of their students.

00:11:20.520 There's about 11,000 students at Brown.

00:11:22.180 Now, only 0.08% of those students identified as very conservative.

00:11:27.360 So if you do that math, that roughly, again, I said this yesterday, comes out to about 92 students.

00:11:31.960 So 92 students, one of which is now dead, who identified as very conservative, were attacked – all those students were.

00:11:40.560 But I'm saying that is not to be just random, right?

00:11:42.940 Like, did he go into that room with the intention of attacking her and then just shot up others?

00:11:47.280 But why – it has been three days, and we know nothing.

00:11:49.640 And this is information that could help find the killer.

00:11:52.540 Another thing I think that was bizarre, the police did a press conference yesterday, and they would not confirm what the shooter yelled out before he started shooting.

00:12:00.720 So you had a room of 60 students, 11 which have been shot.

00:12:04.120 Two are now dead.

00:12:05.300 But that means that there are, you know, at least – they said somewhere around 60, 40 students who were in there who could confirm what this man shot.

00:12:13.000 At least five students that I have seen have confirmed on the record of media interviews saying that he yelled,

00:12:18.260 Ali Akbar, well, I think that that's pretty relative information.

00:12:22.280 I think that that would matter as there's a massive search for the shooter, did he yell Ali Akbar?

00:12:27.380 Because then we should be looking for a, you know, free Palestine terrorist. 0.98

00:12:31.640 And Reddit yesterday, by the way, had to shut down the Brown University board because free Palestine students were celebrating Ella Cook's death. 0.77

00:12:39.560 So what's – why are we having to, you know, play detective over here or trying to piece these things together?

00:12:45.580 They need to be giving out more information, and they need to find the animal that did this.

00:12:49.680 And the FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information on the shooter.

00:12:54.480 Why are these numbers always so low?

00:12:56.220 Like $50,000?

00:12:57.280 I'm sorry, but we're offering $50 million for information on where Nicolas Maduro is.

00:13:02.480 Breaking news, you can send me the money.

00:13:04.020 He does public rallies where he sings and dances John Lennon songs every day.

00:13:08.400 So, you know, where's my $50 million?

00:13:10.240 Why don't you take that money and go put up a real reward and find the savage animal that walked into a university and killed two students and shot nine others?

00:13:20.360 I just want to make sure people know on Reddit, which has become so left-wing, they had to shut down one of the sections on Brown because the pro-Palestinian jihadists are sitting there mocking Ella Cook.

00:13:36.960 Just like Charlie Kirk's assassination was mocked, and it was mocked by these people.

00:13:42.880 Ella Cook, who stood in the breach, a very conservative student at, what, 18 or 19 years old in a place like Brown, that's the most left-wing of all the left-wing Ivies. 1.00

00:13:53.340 And she's known as a safe pair of hands.

00:13:55.120 She's known as somebody that gets in problems in social media with these lefties, that they go to her and she would help figure it out for them.

00:14:01.580 If this thing's not targeted, it needs to be explained to us why it was not targeted.

00:14:07.360 It's just a law of probabilities.

00:14:08.860 It's unbelievable in this. 0.52

00:14:11.180 And it's sickening, sickening, sickening that the FBI ought to step in here because obviously they're too incompetent at Brown.

00:14:18.760 This is another campus police group like the guys out at Utah Valley.

00:14:23.220 You got these Keystone cops out there. 1.00

00:14:27.060 Jack Basobo is going to join us.

00:14:28.580 Take your phone out.

00:14:29.240 Text Birch Gold.

00:14:30.300 Markets are on fire again.

00:14:34.500 Silver is now cost more than a barrel of oil.

00:14:41.840 Find out why.

00:14:43.260 Text Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N, and 9-8-9-8-9-8.

00:16:24.660 Make sure you text Bannon to 989898.

00:16:28.740 Do it today.

00:16:30.120 War Room.

00:16:31.160 Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.

00:16:35.300 Okay, Jack Posobiec.

00:16:36.540 We are really, really, really slammed here, so we're going to move through this.

00:16:40.060 Jack Posobiec.

00:16:40.980 First off, you live in rent-free in Mark Kelly's head.

00:16:44.740 We're going to have Dan Caldwell and Ben Harnwell on.

00:16:47.940 The U.S. negotiators, not Trump, the U.S. negotiator offering security guarantees in Ukraine.

00:16:52.820 They're also talking about reorganization of the Defense Department.

00:16:55.440 We'll get all into that.

00:16:56.820 But what we need him to do is recall Mark Kelly today, Captain Mark Kelly, and we need to convene a court-martial and let's roll.

00:17:05.040 Jack Posobiec, you live in rent-free in his head, sir.

00:17:08.260 Wait, Steve, I'm sorry, did you say Captain Mark Kelly?

00:17:12.020 Because I'm thinking maybe Lieutenant Mark Kelly.

00:17:15.200 I'm thinking maybe Ensign Mark Kelly by the time.

00:17:18.040 I'm thinking Butter Bar Mark Kelly.

00:17:19.760 We're thinking of George Mark Kelly when we're done with all this. 0.98

00:17:23.320 Mark Kelly, if you want to get up there and you want to talk all your smack, you want to talk all your trash, then let's talk. 0.95

00:17:28.940 Let's talk about your wife and her best friend Hillary Clinton, and let's talk about her ties to Jeffrey Epstein. 0.97

00:17:34.580 I'm more than happy to have those conversations.

00:17:36.600 But if you want to get up there and undermine the Commander-in-Chief, undermine the President of the United States, undermine the chain of command while you, sir, are collecting a pension from the United States taxpayers and are subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Mark Kelly, then you better be ready for all that entails.

00:17:56.320 Because you haven't been paying attention, and I think you better start brushing up.

00:17:59.860 But in the Pentagon, we've got to move this along.

00:18:02.860 It's taking too long.

00:18:03.660 I don't want to have an operational review and a thing.

00:18:05.620 Just get it done.

00:18:07.280 It's in war.

00:18:07.900 Just do things.

00:18:09.000 Move.

00:18:09.500 Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.

00:18:11.160 It's too bureaucratic.

00:18:12.600 It's too procedural.

00:18:13.800 It's too slow.

00:18:15.760 Let's move it.

00:18:16.160 I say take him to the mask.

00:18:16.940 Let's recall Kelly today.

00:18:17.760 I say mask him.

00:18:18.420 Mask him.

00:18:18.980 I don't want to hear another, well, we've got to, you know, had an informal, never going to be formal.

00:18:23.440 It's too slow, Pete.

00:18:25.980 Move it.

00:18:26.940 Okay, let's go back to Brown.

00:18:29.080 This stinks to high heaven, Jack Posobiec.

00:18:31.980 Give me your assessment of the assassination of Ella Cook, sir.

00:18:38.280 Well, Steve, as horrific as this is, we have to look at the failed investigation here because this has gone beyond the 33 hours that it took to take down Tyler Robinson in the wake of Charlie Kirk's murder.

00:18:51.160 It's not, we're now on day three since this happened.

00:18:54.340 Almost 60 hours, so by about 4 p.m. today, it'll be 72 hours completely.

00:19:00.040 You look at the amount of cameras they have down there.

00:19:02.180 You look at the amount of people on that campus.

00:19:04.320 And it seems to me, Steve, that there are either people who are not talking or people who are saying or who are have things they have to say but are being silenced.

00:19:13.720 These rumors, these conversations about did she say, did or did the killer, did the killer say Allah Akbar?

00:19:19.620 Or I've seen also people point out Allah kind of sounds like Ella.

00:19:24.580 So is it possible that he was calling her name Ella when he said that?

00:19:29.400 Hard to say.

00:19:30.020 But again, the people in the room, where's the interviews?

00:19:32.700 Also want to ask, why was it?

00:19:34.800 They said the TA locked eyes with him, but he spared the TA, that the TA was not one of his initials.

00:19:41.740 So that seemed to me sparks to targeting.

00:19:44.620 This was not something where he was walking around on campus firing indiscriminately, which unfortunately we have seen many times in these mass shootings.

00:19:52.340 This was targeted.

00:19:54.180 This was clearly targeted, and we can see it in the choice of the targets.

00:19:58.960 It was not indiscriminate, spares the TA, and then targets Ella Cook, this young girl.

00:20:03.600 So as an investigation, that's something you have to look at.

00:20:06.300 And Steve, quite frankly, you've got to go Frank Rizzo.

00:20:09.300 You've got to go full Frank Rizzo when it comes to this.

00:20:11.960 When you have a situation like this, you've got to go to every single one of these subversive groups that are on campus,

00:20:18.180 and you should be rounding them up and pulling them all in for questioning and saying,

00:20:22.300 did you know this guy?

00:20:23.480 Do you know anyone who looks like that guy?

00:20:25.440 You look kind of like this guy.

00:20:27.140 Where were you on that day?

00:20:28.840 Where were you on Saturday 4 p.m.?

00:20:30.320 Why weren't you around on Saturday 4 p.m.?

00:20:32.380 What's your alibi?

00:20:33.040 And just go in every single one of them.

00:20:36.160 It's ridiculous that they aren't doing this.

00:20:38.400 You've got to go Frank Rizzo style on these groups.

00:20:40.980 That's how he took care of things in Philadelphia during the 1960s, 1970s.

00:20:45.120 And you know what?

00:20:46.000 It worked.

00:20:47.620 And by the way, in the profile of many of the people, you've got a huge Antifa element.

00:20:51.860 It's the most radical of all.

00:20:53.480 Columbia, you think that?

00:20:54.360 Massive.

00:20:54.380 There is a massive Antifa, Palestine, all the rest of it element.

00:20:58.280 No, so this is – and I don't know why the FBI now.

00:21:03.220 It's turned over to the Boston office.

00:21:05.100 There's all kind of questions about the guy that's running it.

00:21:07.880 They've got to just be much more – people in the Trump administration now to support the president.

00:21:12.360 There's some polling out.

00:21:13.560 We're going to have Mitchell and Barris now.

00:21:16.120 We're going to jam them in because we've got to.

00:21:17.760 There's some polling that's not the best.

00:21:20.020 And most of it's because of just action, action, action.

00:21:22.860 We've got the right policy.

00:21:23.860 We've got the right plan.

00:21:24.660 We've got the right team.

00:21:25.820 Just hit the bid.

00:21:27.120 Hang on for one second, Jack.

00:21:28.500 I wonder, is Candace ready?

00:21:30.540 Candace Taylor joins us now from Georgia.

00:21:32.740 Candace, you've been a frequent guest on the show.

00:21:35.880 You're running for Congress down in the Savannah area.

00:21:38.640 Are you not, ma'am?

00:21:40.860 I am, Steve.

00:21:41.820 I'm running, and I'm just sick about what's happened in Savannah.

00:21:45.580 Tell me about this.

00:21:46.520 You've had a beautiful young Christian woman attacked with the acid in her face. 0.83

00:21:51.780 You've got a crime out of control.

00:21:53.780 Todd Woods delivered yesterday a letter to Pete Hex's defense and over at the White House

00:21:58.320 signed by you and many – a prosecutor down there and other prominent individuals in the community

00:22:03.800 saying, hey, we don't need the National Guard in Syria.

00:22:07.260 We need the National Guard down in Savannah.

00:22:09.120 Talk to us about it.

00:22:10.540 Yeah, so we have a DA in Savannah that was paid a million dollars to run by George Soros.

00:22:16.180 She's a George Soros DA, and we're seeing the effects of that.

00:22:19.160 We had a Democrat sheriff that went in last November.

00:22:22.300 We had a Republican sheriff for decades before.

00:22:24.920 And so Savannah is just going downhill.

00:22:26.520 It's getting bluer and bluer.

00:22:28.220 And I have a county commissioner right now that's one of my opponents that's in Savannah.

00:22:32.080 So we're not interested in more of the same.

00:22:33.820 We're ready for somebody different.

00:22:35.440 And what happened was a beautiful girl.

00:22:37.060 Her name's Ashley.

00:22:38.180 She was leaving church.

00:22:39.420 She was in Forsyth Park.

00:22:40.540 If you know anything about Savannah, it's one of the greatest landmarks in our state, really

00:22:44.400 one in the country.

00:22:45.080 I got engaged there.

00:22:46.360 It's a beautiful fountain.

00:22:47.820 It's safe.

00:22:48.420 People run there.

00:22:49.100 They have their dogs, their pets, their children.

00:22:51.340 And she's leaving church. 0.98

00:22:52.800 And somebody, a man, a black male, threw acid in her face.

00:22:58.260 And they haven't been able to identify the chemical compound, which is a huge issue.

00:23:02.960 Doesn't seem like a random ad.

00:23:04.600 If there's a chemical that they cannot identify, they had SWAT.

00:23:08.900 Savannah came out of SWAT. 0.99

00:23:10.400 So SWAT hasn't been involved in this situation because they came out, got a Democrat mayor,

00:23:15.220 Democrat sheriff being ran down.

00:23:17.780 And then where's the investigation?

00:23:19.660 They haven't found the guy.

00:23:20.640 There's cameras everywhere, all over Chatham County, all over the historic district, which

00:23:25.140 is where this happened.

00:23:26.260 But yet they can't identify.

00:23:27.580 They have a picture, but they haven't even spoken to him yet.

00:23:30.440 Hang on for a second.

00:23:33.320 Jack, Caroline, let me start with you.

00:23:35.620 One of the reasons you were furious yesterday is just not enough action being taken by FBI,

00:23:40.080 but you're furious also with conservative media.

00:23:42.300 Why are these stories not at the top of the pile?

00:23:44.280 Why is this story not?

00:23:45.160 You have a beautiful young Christian woman coming out of church, walking through one of

00:23:48.660 the most historic parks in this country, right?

00:23:50.840 With cameras all over.

00:23:51.860 And she gets acid thrown in the face, which we know in Africa, in South Asia, in the Middle

00:23:57.620 East is an attack, the way the Islamists try to do and try to attack women all the time. 1.00

00:24:02.920 Why is this not getting more publicity, ma'am?

00:24:06.720 Well, because everyone is talking about the death of a Hollywood movie director who was

00:24:12.400 tragically, but murdered by his coked out, drug addicted son. 0.64

00:24:16.580 And while that is, yes, a sad situation, I want to hear, I want justice for Ella Cook.

00:24:21.380 I want to know more and understand what the heck happened at this university.

00:24:25.440 Mark Halperin said that he heard from the family of Ella Cook that the Christian conservative

00:24:29.960 student who lost her life at Brown, that that family was told that she was the shooter's

00:24:34.680 target.

00:24:35.520 Now, Mark Halperin usually has some pretty decent sources here.

00:24:38.740 If that is true, why are they not saying that?

00:24:41.300 I don't understand.

00:24:42.500 Like what the university doesn't even seem to be, you know, up in arms of that outrage.

00:24:46.060 But we're talking about Brown University, which since 2022 has hired 45, you know, new

00:24:51.800 tenured professors and just three of them are actually white American men, by the way.

00:24:56.700 So this is a university that I think is more focused on, you know, DEI and law policies

00:25:02.400 than tracking down the killer that just shot 11 of their students.

00:25:08.000 Jack Posobiec, you're one of the biggest influencers out there.

00:25:10.940 Mark Kelly certainly thinks so.

00:25:12.320 You're inside his head.

00:25:13.160 He's worried about getting court-martialed.

00:25:15.320 What's a situation where, you know, the Ella Cook situation looks like it's targeted,

00:25:20.840 right?

00:25:21.120 Not enough people are focused on that.

00:25:22.880 We got this situation in Savannah, which is a general criminal in immigration because

00:25:27.320 it's a port of entry.

00:25:28.380 But you've got this very specific acid attack in the face.

00:25:32.500 And you know how symbolic that is.

00:25:34.360 Why are people not focused on these things?

00:25:36.300 Why are we not driving this narrative?

00:25:39.000 Look, Steve, it's very clear.

00:25:40.560 OK, it's very clear.

00:25:41.960 We're coming up.

00:25:42.600 It's the Christmas season.

00:25:44.240 It's Hanukkah season as well.

00:25:46.280 And what are they doing?

00:25:47.700 They are attacking.

00:25:49.720 There are Christian women who are being attacked, who are being slaughtered. 0.85

00:25:54.200 They're coming for your little girls. 1.00

00:25:56.240 They are coming to kill them. 1.00

00:25:58.260 They want Christians to die. 1.00

00:26:00.320 They're targeting Jewish families as well, as we saw down in Australia. 0.97

00:26:03.600 And so the problem that we've seen right here, as disgusting as it is, we need to actually

00:26:09.500 understand the motivations behind this.

00:26:11.920 I served at Guantanamo Bay.

00:26:13.800 I don't talk about this all the time.

00:26:15.120 I don't try to be one of those professional veteran types.

00:26:17.120 But when I was down there, I got to see radical Islam up close and personal.

00:26:22.500 And what they told us was very clear.

00:26:25.280 They are doing this because of their radical religious ideology.

00:26:29.820 They view that radical Islam should take over the world, that the caliphate should be introduced,

00:26:35.620 that everyone should be subject to it.

00:26:38.000 You'd be forced to pay the jizya tax if you refuse to convert to Islam.

00:26:42.620 And others who are more radical who say, if you refuse to convert to Islam, or if you

00:26:50.200 refuse to go along with it, you stand in the way, you will be killed. 0.77

00:26:55.040 And the media will sit there and tell you, no, no, no.

00:26:57.800 We just got to bring in more migrants.

00:26:59.420 We got to be more tolerant.

00:27:00.760 We got to be nice.

00:27:01.580 Just bring in the Zora Mandamis, bring in these Pakistanis to Australia. 1.00

00:27:05.720 It's just going to help with the economy.

00:27:08.600 It's better for the GDP.

00:27:09.880 And it's a joke.

00:27:11.020 It's an absolute joke.

00:27:12.400 And people are dying because of it.

00:27:15.040 People are absolutely dying because of it.

00:27:16.960 You see the subversion on campuses.

00:27:18.660 Now you're seeing the subversion, the attacks in the streets.

00:27:20.940 And it's only going to get worse until we start taking it seriously.

00:27:27.000 And when I say Frank Rizzo, I mean when you shot a police officer in Philadelphia,

00:27:30.940 Frank Rizzo would go to every single anti-police group, the Black Panthers, move, all the rest

00:27:35.740 of them, and he would just start throwing people up against the wall.

00:27:39.620 All right?

00:27:40.100 That's what you do.

00:27:41.320 You take it seriously like this country used to take things seriously.

00:27:46.320 I agree 100%.

00:27:47.440 You got to go Frank Rizzo.

00:27:48.560 Candace Taylor, where do people go and find out more about your campaign?

00:27:52.120 You're running on this down in Georgia, and people need to talk about it.

00:27:55.480 You got the courage to do it.

00:27:56.480 We got about 30 seconds.

00:27:57.500 Where do people go to find out more about you, ma'am, and your campaign? 0.99

00:28:00.500 CandaceTaylor.com.

00:28:03.000 And we have to fight against this.

00:28:04.420 We're asked questions about Islam-influenced jihadists, and we get slammed.

00:28:09.160 I had hundreds of thousands of views on my videos this week about this Ashley case, and

00:28:13.780 they don't want to hear it.

00:28:14.700 Well, it's purposeful in the face of a woman. 1.00

00:28:17.160 And we're going to ask the hard questions, and we're going to hold people accountable,

00:28:20.000 just like Jack said.

00:28:20.860 We have to demand it in this country.

00:28:23.580 Candace Taylor, hard Christian, running for Congress down in Savannah.

00:29:56.680 The great Megan Basham, I'm going to try to get Megan on tomorrow, has got up Mark Halperin's 0.52

00:30:07.680 piece on his new video on his new show where he says he's got sources, and Halperin's pretty

00:30:13.480 good on sources, Caroline Wren.

00:30:15.420 He's got sources that says that Ella Cook, a Christian conservative, was targeted at Brown

00:30:21.080 University.

00:30:21.560 This is not War Room.

00:30:22.840 It's not Caroline Wren.

00:30:23.720 It's not Posobiec.

00:30:24.460 We're not yelling at our mics.

00:30:25.480 This is Halperin from sources saying that, told she was, and the family is hearing this

00:30:32.500 as he's hearing from sources close to the family.

00:30:34.680 She was the shooter's target.

00:30:36.960 Caroline Wren.

00:30:37.740 You just had Candace Taylor, a conservative Christian running for Congress down in Savannah. 1.00

00:30:41.860 She's a signator on the letter asking the President of the United States, hey, can

00:30:45.620 you please get the National Guard down here?

00:30:47.120 This thing's out of control.

00:30:47.980 You've got a Christian woman coming by from a Christian service having acid thrown in 1.00

00:30:52.920 her face, second and third degree burns over 50% of her body.

00:30:57.020 You got Ella Cook, a young conservative superstar in a snake pit. 0.98

00:31:01.680 You talk about courage.

00:31:03.300 You be a conservative Christian in Brown University.

00:31:05.860 That's courage, okay?

00:31:07.680 And by the way, she was supposedly very well liked by everybody because she had that kind 0.99

00:31:11.000 of gentle nature and firm nature that lived Christianity gives you.

00:31:15.400 Your thoughts, ma'am?

00:31:17.980 I think it is just, it is so awful.

00:31:20.740 It is awful what is happening with the targeting of Christian women right now across the country.

00:31:25.620 And the fact that you are like, we're facing hostility and it's for expressing their views,

00:31:31.380 expressing their love of Jesus Christ.

00:31:33.880 And I just, you know, this is happening with Charlie Kirk.

00:31:36.300 We saw this and we now have what happened at Brown University.

00:31:38.560 It's been over and over again.

00:31:39.840 And we have got to get loud and we have got to protect our homeland and our people.

00:31:45.380 It is terror.

00:31:46.040 I mean, I honestly, I, it is amazing to me that anyone sends their kids off to these liberal

00:31:50.220 universities anymore.

00:31:51.400 It is so dangerous to even just be a young American walking around on these campuses.

00:31:56.740 It is terrifying.

00:31:57.740 And especially if you're willing to be a vocal Christian or a vocal Republican, you are automatically

00:32:03.820 the target.

00:32:04.940 And that is because that these campuses have just fostered these, it's supposed to be a

00:32:09.380 place that you, uh, of enlightenment where you encourage discussion, you encourage your,

00:32:14.420 your growth and you, that meeting other people and learning other points of view.

00:32:18.240 And that is not, not at all what is happening on these universities.

00:32:22.080 I think what I would immediately like to see is a pause of these settlements with the universities.

00:32:27.020 Harmeet Dillon has been leading the charge on the negotiations with them.

00:32:31.040 She's been doing an amazing job, but for right now, like go take more of their money, go keep 0.89

00:32:35.000 fighting with them.

00:32:35.540 Say, you've got to secure your campus and solve the problems and find out why the fostering

00:32:40.440 of hate is happening at these universities.

00:32:42.220 And you are allowing these kids to be attacked.

00:32:45.520 Caroline, where do people go?

00:32:46.700 People should understand that the, the driving force in the MAGA movement, just like it was in

00:32:51.360 the tea party movement.

00:32:52.180 And I had a ringside seat at Breitbart and here at war room and with president Trump are

00:32:57.380 Christian women. 1.00

00:32:58.580 Don't think the enemy don't, the enemy is not stupid. 1.00

00:33:01.720 Okay. 0.91

00:33:02.060 They understand that the driving force, the people that will not back down in our movement

00:33:06.700 ever, because guys talk about things, the people that get things done in our movement

00:33:11.380 are Christian women.

00:33:12.580 They understand this.

00:33:13.780 That's why, that's why Christian women are now the target. 1.00

00:33:17.040 Caroline, where do people go?

00:33:18.300 Particularly, uh, your Twitter feed, which comes in a little high.

00:33:21.360 Not every now and again.

00:33:23.700 It is at Caroline Rand on Twitter, getter, and through social.

00:33:28.860 Thank you, man.

00:33:29.540 Appreciate you.

00:33:31.240 Jack Posobiec, thanks for hanging around.

00:33:33.100 I thank Mike Benz for moving your pre-record time.

00:33:35.500 I, I, I want to, um, uh, you've got, can we play this footage?

00:33:39.200 First off, the negotiators, Witkoff, and I guess Jared or whoever have agreed, Wall Street

00:33:44.540 journals all over it, in a, in an intense negotiation, have agreed to American security guarantees.

00:33:51.000 Let me say that the Article 5 NATO level security guarantees for Ukraine against Russia, that

00:33:58.860 there'll never be an attack.

00:34:00.020 There'll never be a war.

00:34:00.960 Our American troops will be called in.

00:34:03.440 This is total and complete insanity, but we got a video that you saw.

00:34:07.800 Can we go ahead and play that video?

00:34:09.600 You don't have it?

00:34:10.540 Okay, fine.

00:34:11.000 That's fine.

00:34:11.440 That's okay.

00:34:12.320 Um, Jack, describe the video.

00:34:13.680 We don't have it up yet.

00:34:14.920 Describe what you saw that the Russians are doing in Ukraine.

00:34:17.660 Um, oh gosh, well, this video, and again, it's, it's reported, you know, it, it seems

00:34:22.460 to be, uh, a legitimate video.

00:34:24.520 I'm not sure exactly of the, um, you know, the location, the area, but reportedly it is

00:34:30.420 a video of a Russian, uh, detachment that are using now we've seen counter drone strategies

00:34:38.480 have really taken on a variety of different novel approaches.

00:34:42.380 You've seen people using dirt bikes.

00:34:44.220 You see because they're of their high maneuverability and also their, their speed, but all at the

00:34:49.600 same time, because as they're moving into the winter months, now the winter warfare, you

00:34:53.980 get mud, you get slush, you get snow.

00:34:56.500 And so the dirt bikes aren't working as well over that muddy terrain over that slushy icy

00:35:02.000 terrain.

00:35:02.580 And so the video, which reportedly is in the city of Pekrosk, which is one of these areas

00:35:08.240 in the Donbass where the Russian forces are now moving forward.

00:35:10.940 It appears to be a Russian detachment riding horses and that Russians are Russian soldiers

00:35:18.620 in uniform.

00:35:20.700 It's Cossacks.

00:35:21.220 Like that.

00:35:21.560 Well, the Cossacks are more on the Ukraine side, but, uh, this, so these are, these are 0.95

00:35:25.360 the Russian, Russian cavalry version.

00:35:28.500 It looks like the Russian Cossacks may have returned because again, it's the maneuverability 1.00

00:35:34.300 and to get away from the drones very quickly.

00:35:36.280 So actually horses over that type of terrain does make a lot more sense.

00:35:41.460 Uh, I remember when my dad taught me early on, when he was giving me the books and started

00:35:45.280 teaching me about world war two in the Polish and the German invasion of Poland, I think

00:35:49.940 three quarters of the maneuverability was by horses, right?

00:35:53.020 And I thought, wow, this is like the 20th century.

00:35:55.220 How did that happen?

00:35:56.360 You see, even in the 21st century, the horses got its horse.

00:35:59.320 Jack, your thoughts, your Naval intelligence officer, there you are right there.

00:36:04.660 Isn't that amazing?

00:36:05.700 Absolutely amazing.

00:36:06.640 You think those people are ever going to give up?

00:36:08.220 You think they're going to quit?

00:36:09.680 This is my point.

00:36:10.780 They've been fighting over the bloodlands for, for thousands of years.

00:36:14.060 You've had millions of people die in the last hundreds of millions, not thousands, not

00:36:19.880 tens of thousands, not hundreds of thousands, millions of people.

00:36:23.480 It's called the bloodlands for a reason.

00:36:25.080 What possibly, when we don't have control of Minneapolis or New York City or Chicago,

00:36:30.520 we got Rachel Maddow on a stage mocking us about how they got illegal aliens up there 1.00

00:36:35.700 on MSNBC in primetime saying, hey, they're defending the constitution from MAGA, from Tom

00:36:41.240 Holman and from Donald Trump.

00:36:42.820 We don't have control of any of these cities, not one.

00:36:45.280 We don't have our sovereignty here because they're defying us and people in the administration

00:36:50.500 are talking Miller and out of these guys in Holman from going in and dropping the hammer.

00:36:54.140 So how can we not have our sovereignty here?

00:36:57.240 And yet we're going to guarantee, we're going to get guarantee a bulletproof guarantee on

00:37:01.800 the security and sovereignty of Ukraine against Russia in the bloodlands.

00:37:06.240 Jack Posobiec, your assessment, sir.

00:37:09.260 You know, Steve, it's just the fact you mentioned about the warfare in this area.

00:37:13.240 And I want to say, you know, it makes me laugh because I think the folks know where the

00:37:18.000 Donbass is on a map.

00:37:19.580 You go, do you have any idea how long people have been riding horses and husbandry in warfare

00:37:25.520 in the Donbass?

00:37:27.140 Okay.

00:37:27.560 The Donbass is just north of a little area called the Caucus Mountains, the Caucuses.

00:37:33.600 All right.

00:37:34.080 This is the area where warfare on horseback was created in the times of prehistory.

00:37:42.020 We're talking thousands and thousands of years before they swept out into Europe and went

00:37:48.540 on.

00:37:48.800 You're talking like, this is like the hunter gatherers versus the, you know, versus the

00:37:53.820 Neolithic, the Neolithic farmers. 0.65

00:37:56.980 I mean, this is as ancient as it gets from, you know, from the time that the, you know,

00:38:02.580 the, you know, the first caveman took a rock to the next caveman as Stanley Kubrick would

00:38:07.280 have it.

00:38:07.600 So you're talking about some ancient, ancient warfare tactics and for us to say that we

00:38:13.760 are going to solve it is, you know, quite frankly, it's, it's, it's a little bit of

00:38:17.580 hubris.

00:38:18.020 I'm just saying it's a little bit of hubris.

00:38:19.300 You gotta, you gotta, you gotta have a historic sense.

00:38:22.300 The valor and courage of the Ukrainian people, as Mersheimer said at the beginning, they're

00:38:26.860 going to use that against them.

00:38:27.840 They've lost a million and a half to 2 million people, million dead or one.

00:38:32.320 And the place looks like, the place looks like, uh, uh, it looks like Dresden in 1945.

00:38:37.480 That's what it looks like.

00:38:38.260 Go and look at that video again.

00:38:38.780 Look at the city, look at the city behind the horses and you can see it.

00:38:41.620 And the Russians have lost a million, a million and a half.

00:38:43.460 And you've got three or 4 million people dead or wounded folks.

00:38:47.440 And, and Vietnam is horrible as Vietnam where we had 68,000 and the scar that Vietnam left 0.95

00:38:53.900 on us.

00:38:55.500 Are you kidding me?

00:38:57.580 This is an obscenity.

00:38:59.140 You got three or 4 million people dead.

00:39:00.940 This president Trump's trying to stop it because they're killing it, but they're still killing

00:39:03.460 each other every day.

00:39:04.280 I think they're saying 10,000 a day.

00:39:05.940 President Trump's saying that.

00:39:08.580 Harnwell, uh, the European, this is the European setting a trap and you got, we're 0.93

00:39:13.420 confident it's Jared been doing a great job, but boys hang on.

00:39:17.680 No guarantees cannot happen.

00:39:20.280 And as I put this up on getter all the time and social media, it's a hundred percent to

00:39:24.800 zero.

00:39:25.960 There's nobody sitting there going, yeah, we want to do that.

00:39:29.160 Ben Harnwell.

00:39:30.940 That's right, Steve.

00:39:32.160 And the war room has been warning on this point like for a year and a half.

00:39:35.860 I remember a year and a half ago, Steve, we were actually saying to everyone who would

00:39:40.780 listen that, that, that, that Ukraine's pitch to be admitted into NATO was just simply a

00:39:47.640 negotiating tool when it came to see its negotiations in order for, for them to relinquish that, to

00:39:54.180 make it look as if they were giving up something, um, in order to get what they really wanted

00:39:59.060 with the U S provided security guarantees.

00:40:01.460 And that's exactly how this is mapped out 18 months later, Steve, because you hear the

00:40:06.500 soundings coming out from the, uh, from, from Ukraine saying, well, perhaps we'll drop the,

00:40:11.300 the NATO accession request.

00:40:13.880 But what we actually want is, is the, the U S security guarantees and the thing, Steve,

00:40:19.220 that I can't fathom and I can't work it out.

00:40:21.620 Why is that the U S administration is playing along with this.

00:40:25.620 The thirst for a peace deal is so great that it looks like the U S is actually going to

00:40:33.080 crumple on this and give Zelensky everything he wants.

00:40:38.020 And by the way, you said earlier on, Steve, let me, let me, let me push this point as well.

00:40:42.580 You said earlier on, cause this is how the press is pushing this sort of article five style 0.71

00:40:48.700 guarantees, by the way, as, as ridiculous.

00:40:52.460 And as a hoax as that is, at least on paper, there is the mutual consent that if one member 0.59

00:40:59.420 state gets attacked, the others will come in to defend it.

00:41:02.380 That is to say, if, um, if Ukraine came into NATO and America were to be attacked, then Ukraine

00:41:10.180 would, would, would come in and help America.

00:41:14.020 That's not what is on the table as far as I can tell in this case.

00:41:18.060 So even the comparison to, to NATO five guarantees is a hoax because there's no reciprocity, even

00:41:25.680 though I, I, I, I labor the point, the reciprocity is a hoax.

00:41:29.340 It's a fig leaf.

00:41:30.360 This is purely a one way traffic, Steve.

00:41:33.280 And it's not the most important thing that I would identify today.

00:41:36.880 The most important thing is this article, which I didn't send through to Denver, excuse me

00:41:41.620 for that.

00:41:42.180 And it's a poll from NBC.

00:41:43.880 See, everybody needs to be focused on this poll, which says that it's a 7% drop in Republicans

00:41:50.660 identifying as MAGA.

00:41:52.120 What the president should do, in my humble opinion, is call in Steve Witkoff, call in

00:41:57.000 Jared Kushner to the overall office and say, look at this.

00:42:00.740 These guys, the Democrats are going, as Steve, as you would say, as sure as the turning of the

00:42:07.560 earth, the Democrats are going to try to impeach me if they get a majority after the midterms.

00:42:13.260 How is this peace negotiate, negotiation that you have negotiated with Ukraine?

00:42:20.720 How is that going to turn the tide on this hemorrhaging of support and keep me in office?

00:42:27.700 Yeah.

00:42:27.860 Right.

00:42:28.840 Then you should say, go back there, go back to Ukraine, go back to Kiev, go back to Moscow 0.83

00:42:34.360 and negotiate a deal that is going to get MAGA chomping at the bit to keep me in office. 1.00

00:42:41.560 Here's that.

00:42:42.880 They don't need to go back.

00:42:44.340 They need to make a phone call.

00:42:45.500 Hey, guys, if we thought upon further review, have at it.

00:42:49.020 There's nothing to do.

00:42:51.180 President Trump, in his goodness of his heart, it hurts him to see all this killing.

00:42:56.980 He says it all the time because he's getting the intelligence reports every day, the slaughter

00:43:01.640 and the murder.

00:43:02.900 Mr. President, this is just what they do.

00:43:06.580 It ain't called the bloodlines for nothing.

00:43:08.000 And nothing you can do is going to change it.

00:43:11.680 There's nothing the United States can do when we got to get our own sovereignty.

00:43:15.600 It's not in the vital national security interests of the United States.

00:43:18.720 It's just going to suck us in.

00:43:20.240 And people over there think you need a deal.

00:43:22.460 We don't need a deal.

00:43:24.660 Europe needs a deal.

00:43:26.040 The Ukrainians need a deal. 1.00

00:43:27.780 The Russians, who knows? 0.98

00:43:29.680 But it's not our problem.

00:43:32.040 And a security guarantee or a sovereignty guarantee makes it our problem.

00:43:36.800 We got enough problems.

00:43:38.040 We got to sort these problems out.

00:43:40.580 And particularly for guys like Zelensky and Desert Mac, these guys are stealing with both

00:43:44.820 hands.

00:43:45.980 Short commercial break.

00:43:47.180 Harnwell, Poso, Dan Caldwell is going to join us.

00:46:06.760 You know that part of the world pretty well.

00:46:08.080 Look, I'll tell you one thing.

00:46:11.660 If there's anything I know about that area at the Donbass, this has been the clash of empires

00:46:18.920 since time immemorial from the time of the Scythian empires, the Pontic Steppe, thousands

00:46:28.700 upon thousands of years, empires, warfare.

00:46:31.960 It all goes back to this area.

00:46:35.280 World War I, World War II, they tried to do it.

00:46:38.840 This, Stalingrad is in this region, okay?

00:46:41.200 This is some of the greatest wars, the most deadly and brutal wars in all of human history

00:46:46.200 have been fought in this area.

00:46:48.040 So the idea that we're just going to be the ones to come up and bring up peace.

00:46:51.440 Look, I understand where the president's coming from, and I totally support it.

00:46:54.940 But just understand the areas that you're dealing with and understand the temerity and the,

00:47:01.800 as you would say, Steve, cussedness of the people who live there.

00:47:05.820 Cussedness. 0.98

00:47:06.880 So hang on for a second.

00:47:08.460 Dan Caldwell joins us.

00:47:09.960 Dan, I'll get your thoughts later on that.

00:47:11.560 What do you think this is optics, right, Dan?

00:47:13.500 You don't think the Russians ever agree to this or the Trump administration's doing something

00:47:16.900 smart in putting out there, hey, if you need guarantees, we'll give them guarantees.

00:47:20.760 But there'll never be a deal.

00:47:22.740 And so we'll look like the good guys.

00:47:24.940 I can never see the Russians agreeing to something that is, in effect, de facto NATO membership.

00:47:31.260 They have a vote here, and the president is pointing this out.

00:47:34.000 And I think that they will continue to fight if that is a big part of the deal.

00:47:38.820 Now, there's a million different ways to do security guarantees that doesn't involve

00:47:43.460 necessarily committing U.S. or NATO troops.

00:47:46.720 They may accept something that is along the lines of, we'll agree to provide the Ukrainians 1.00

00:47:51.500 defensive weapon systems or certain types of support or things like that.

00:47:55.900 But again, I think the Russians have made clear this is their primary issue.

00:48:01.380 It's the issue of Ukrainian alignment.

00:48:03.760 It's more important than territory to them.

00:48:05.700 It's whether or not Ukraine is going to be part of an alliance that they view as a security threat.

00:48:10.300 So I can never see them agreeing to something that would, in effect, make Ukraine a de facto

00:48:16.100 member of NATO.

00:48:17.440 As Ben Hardwell points out, actually could be a more powerful security guarantee than NATO

00:48:22.780 if some of the reporting is correct.

00:48:24.720 Yeah.

00:48:25.440 Okay.

00:48:25.980 So I got to get this out for the audience to start thinking.

00:48:28.200 We'll get the articles out.

00:48:29.940 Pete Heggs and some others are talking about a pretty radical change to the structure of the

00:48:35.320 military command system at the War Department and out to the actual troops in the field.

00:48:40.740 And I'll be blunt.

00:48:42.080 I think we're in the beginning stages of this kinetic part of the Third World War.

00:48:46.180 Changes that were made at the Pentagon, I think, in World War II were done beforehand.

00:48:49.660 But walk me through exactly what Pete and other people are talking about, about combatant commanders.

00:48:55.080 Sure.

00:48:55.680 So yesterday, the Washington Post had a story.

00:48:59.040 And I think War Room audience members will know and see that this was a strategic leak

00:49:04.220 by people likely opposed to these reforms.

00:49:07.280 So that's important to keep in mind.

00:49:09.080 No decision has been made.

00:49:10.680 And this is likely being pushed out by people who don't want to see them.

00:49:14.120 So essentially, what is being proposed is a consolidation of these combatant commands,

00:49:19.960 which exist around the world.

00:49:21.960 You have six geographic commands that were set up in the 1980s as part of Goldwater-Nichols

00:49:26.960 in response to some of the military failures in Lebanon and Grenada,

00:49:30.820 some of the command and control issues.

00:49:32.800 And it was a reform that made sense at the time

00:49:35.340 and actually worked very well in operations like Desert Storm

00:49:38.040 and the opening days of the post-9-11 wars.

00:49:40.720 But since then, these combatant commands, like Central Command in the Middle East

00:49:45.240 and European Command in Europe, have become incredibly powerful.

00:49:49.500 My friend Justin Logan wrote a piece in National Interest

00:49:52.140 where essentially he compares them to Roman pro-consuls.

00:49:55.260 They, in effect, run their own semi-independent foreign policy.

00:50:00.180 And they are incentivized and positioned to prioritize their own commands

00:50:04.960 and to ensure that they get more resources

00:50:07.640 and that they have their own lobbies and own special interests here back in D.C.

00:50:12.720 I've heard you and Jack, for example, describe Washington, D.C.

00:50:17.520 as a central command company town.

00:50:20.040 And I think that perfectly sums up the problem.

00:50:22.560 So what the Secretary of War supposedly is considering

00:50:26.900 is consolidating these commands from 6 to 3, which will reduce bloat

00:50:32.480 and, in my mind, reduce the power of some of these combatant commanders,

00:50:37.280 which is incredibly important to ensuring civilian control of the military.

00:50:41.400 Hang on.

00:50:41.960 This is about Carrilla, right?

00:50:43.780 Carrilla, Jack Posobiec, jump in here.

00:50:45.340 This is about Carrilla.

00:50:46.480 Carrilla was running his own foreign policy.

00:50:48.660 He didn't care what the president had to say.

00:50:50.100 He's a pro-council.

00:50:51.640 It's like you're sending a pro-council down to take over Judea, Samaria

00:50:58.200 during Pontius Pilate's time, right?

00:50:59.900 You're sending a pro-council down there.

00:51:01.900 And Carrilla was that.

00:51:02.820 He didn't want to hear it.

00:51:03.540 He didn't care what Pete had to say.

00:51:05.740 He didn't care what the president.

00:51:06.740 He had his plan of basically initiating the war with the Persians. 0.92

00:51:11.860 Correct, Jack Posobiec?

00:51:12.860 I mean, and, yeah, that's exactly who the pro-council of the Roman Empire

00:51:18.000 would be fighting against at the same time.

00:51:19.760 This was a case where, and I've had it, look,

00:51:22.660 I'll just say that I had it from source after source after source

00:51:25.900 that this was COCOM-driven.

00:51:28.020 It was not driven by DC.

00:51:30.680 It was not driven by command intent.

00:51:32.420 It was driven by the COCOM in the case of Carrilla.

00:51:35.040 And I had source after source after source,

00:51:37.500 high-level officials telling me that.

00:51:38.980 So is that what this is about, Dan Caldwell?

00:51:43.580 Is this actually a program they want to do,

00:51:46.460 or is this because they don't want another Carrilla on the scene

00:51:48.660 that's more powerful than the Secretary of War

00:51:50.860 and, quite frankly, more powerful than the Joint Chiefs of Staff?

00:51:55.440 About the system and the incentives it creates.

00:51:57.900 It wasn't just Carrilla, General Cavoli, in my mind, was worse.

00:52:01.120 We were talking about what was going on in Ukraine.

00:52:03.220 In my view, he was running his own foreign policy the first few months

00:52:06.540 vis-a-vis Ukraine and EUCOM.

00:52:09.040 And so I think it's the incentives the system creates.

00:52:12.320 And it's also the bloat, too.

00:52:14.720 These staffs at these combatant commands have grown by over 50% since 9-11.

00:52:20.560 And that matters.

00:52:21.300 Some of these combatant commands, in terms of their size,

00:52:24.340 they're actually bigger than the Office of Secretary of Defense.

00:52:27.640 So if you're Secretary Hegseth with your front office and your team,

00:52:32.580 you can't manage these people effectively.

00:52:34.520 You're fighting against them.

00:52:36.400 And that just doesn't work in the long term.

00:52:39.460 Dan Caldwell, hang on.

00:52:41.040 Jack, just hang on for a second.

00:52:42.140 I want to give you your coordinates and what you're working on today.

00:52:44.560 Harnwell, hang on.

00:52:45.400 We've got Tiesel, John Solomon.

00:52:47.200 We're absolutely packed, but we're going to get it all done.
