Bannon's War Room - Episode 5086： Make Gaza Great Again; Jack Smith Hearing

00:00:00.000 As part of this historic record of major peace initiatives, today we're announcing more details regarding the Board of Peace, so important.

00:00:09.640 This board has the chance to be one of the most consequential bodies ever created, and it's my enormous honor to serve as its chairman.

00:00:17.740 I was very honored when they asked me to do it.

00:00:20.360 We had an idea to do it, and then they came, and they said, you be the chairman.

00:00:25.200 But I take it very seriously.

00:00:27.060 We have a great group of people and incredible young people that are leading it from within.

00:00:37.100 It's running beautifully, started already, and every country, just about every country, wants to be a part of it.

00:00:44.840 And we just sent out the letters a couple of days ago, and these are just the countries that are here.

00:00:50.740 They happen to be in Davos.

00:00:52.460 So we said, we'd be honored if you wanted to join us up on the stage.

00:00:58.060 And it's really great.

00:01:00.380 They're friends of mine.

00:01:01.080 I think, let me see.

00:01:04.160 Yeah, every one of them is a friend of mine.

00:01:06.240 A couple, let's see, a couple I like, a couple I don't like.

00:01:12.340 No, I like, actually, this group, I like every single one of them.

00:01:15.360 Can you believe it?

00:01:16.140 Usually I have about two or three that I can't stand.

00:01:19.600 Usually I have two or three that I don't like.

00:01:21.520 I don't find them up here.

00:01:22.560 I like every one of these people.

00:01:24.720 No, they're great people.

00:01:25.560 They're great leaders.

00:01:27.360 And the Board of Peace is composed of leaders, the top leaders in the world, actually.

00:01:33.040 Last October, we released a plan for the permanent end to the conflict in Gaza.

00:01:38.180 And I'm pleased to say that our vision was unanimously adopted by the United Nations Security Council late last year.

00:01:46.960 Under phase one of this plan, we have painstakingly maintained that Gaza, and we're going to have it very strongly, and it's what we have, 1.00

00:01:56.520 maintained the Gaza ceasefire, delivered record levels of humanitarian aid.

00:02:01.240 We've given aid, you know, you used to hear all the people were starving, and it was terrible.

00:02:06.440 Now we have, you don't hear that anymore.

00:02:08.300 We've delivered record levels of humanitarian aid.

00:02:11.760 I want to thank the United States, but I want to thank some of the countries, some of the countries that are sitting right up here,

00:02:17.800 because they've sent great aid, great aid also in the form of money, where we go out and purchase food.

00:02:25.100 And you don't hear those stories anymore with people starving, and secured the release of all 20.

00:02:31.740 You know, we secured the release of all 20 living hostages.

00:02:36.120 Now I want to thank Steve Whitcoff and Jared and everybody for doing, working so hard.

00:02:40.700 They worked so hard, but there were 20 remaining living hostages.

00:02:45.540 Now we got hundreds out, but the last 20, I said, boy, that's going to be a tough one.

00:02:50.260 I said that a year before, and it was a tough one, but we got them.

00:02:54.420 We got all 20, every one of them.

00:02:56.760 And we had also about 28 that were dead, but the parents wanted them just as though they were living just as much.

00:03:06.920 Some cases, it almost seemed more.

00:03:09.360 It was amazing, actually, the love, but their boy had been killed.

00:03:16.400 In just about all cases, young men, their baby, their boy had been killed, and they wanted the body of their boy.

00:03:24.140 And it looked like it couldn't be done.

00:03:27.340 And with the exception of one, and we're close on the track of that, we've got them all, every single one of them, which is amazing.

00:03:36.340 It's a rough job.

00:03:37.360 That was a rough job.

00:03:38.340 And I've been very clear that Hamas must return that last remaining to sea sausage as well, and that will be the full commitment. 0.95

00:03:48.840 And then we get on to other things, and we're committed to ensuring Gaza is demilitarized, properly governed, and beautifully rebuilt.

00:03:59.220 It's going to be a great plan, and that's where the Board of Peace really started.

00:04:02.840 And I think we can spread out to other things as we succeed with Gaza. 0.99

00:04:08.020 We're going to be very successful in Gaza.

00:04:11.120 It's going to be a great thing to watch.

00:04:13.760 And now to bring the Board of Peace into full force, I ask Sheikh Issa of Bahrain and Foreign Minister Barita of Morocco to join me in signing and ratifying the Board of Peace Charter.

00:04:30.380 Thank you very much, everybody.

00:04:31.700 Appreciate it.

00:04:32.280 Thank you.

00:04:32.640 Thank you very much.

00:05:02.640 Thank you.

00:05:32.640 Congratulations, President Trump.

00:05:39.020 The Charter is now in full force, and the Board of Peace is now an official international organization.

00:05:45.640 Anyone who has seen a mafia movie understands that this is not actually a promise not to use force.

00:05:51.880 It is instead using force as an implied threat.

00:05:54.900 No one should breathe a sigh of relief, just as you might not take much consolation from a thug promising not to break your knees as he demanded $20 while holding a hammer.

00:06:04.680 There is the danger of threatening violence and force, Robert.

00:06:08.880 There's also the danger of a president who puts those threats on the table and then pretends to take them away.

00:06:16.300 Absolutely.

00:06:16.800 And by the way, I agree that this is not over as far as Trump's desire to get Greenland and hit the possibility of using force.

00:06:27.300 There were several times before the Venezuela attack when Trump denied that he had any intention of using military force in Venezuela, and he came back to it.

00:06:36.800 He has been focused on Greenland since the first term, and he's clearly quite determined.

00:06:41.640 But most importantly, I think we need to step back and say, yes, we may have dodged this particular bullet at this moment, but let's face the fact that we were confronted with a situation in which our NATO allies were beginning to deploy troops to prevent an American act of territorial aggression against a NATO ally.

00:07:03.280 Anybody who thinks that we're going to go back to normal with NATO after an experience like that, on top of the tariffs that he's levied against our allies and threatened to levy if he didn't get his way, in some cases because the Swiss president rubbed him the wrong way, so he's left 39 percent tariffs.

00:07:22.060 You cannot be an ally of the United States if the United States is going to behave this way.

00:07:26.540 And so the end result of Trump's policies is that the United States is not going to have allies anymore, either in Asia or in Europe.

00:07:34.240 Really, because of his heart, he wants to do this.

00:07:36.340 And we've developed ways to redevelop Gaza. 0.70

00:07:38.180 Gaza, as President Trump's been saying, has amazing potential.

00:07:41.020 And this is for the people of Gaza.

00:07:42.520 We've developed it into zones.

00:07:44.260 In the beginning, we were toying with the idea of saying, let's build a free zone, and then we have a Hamas zone. 0.94

00:07:49.200 And then we said, you know what?

00:07:50.320 Let's just plan for catastrophic success.

00:07:52.420 Hamas signed a deal demilitarized.

00:07:53.980 That is what we are going to enforce.

00:07:55.080 People ask us what our plan B is.

00:07:57.060 We do not have a plan B.

00:07:58.440 We have a plan.

00:07:59.280 We signed an agreement.

00:08:00.420 We are all committed to making that agreement work.

00:08:02.560 There's a master plan.

00:08:03.480 We'll be doing it in phasing.

00:08:04.780 In the Middle East, they build cities like this in, you know, two, three million people.

00:08:08.520 They build this in three years.

00:08:09.900 And so stuff like this is very doable if we make it happen.

00:08:14.320 Rothel will start with.

00:08:15.300 This will show a lot of workforce housing.

00:08:17.000 We think this could be done in two, three years.

00:08:18.580 We've already started removing the rubble and doing some of the demolition.

00:08:22.120 And then New Gaza. 0.63

00:08:22.980 It could be a hope.

00:08:23.980 It could be a destination.

00:08:24.820 Have a lot of industry.

00:08:26.280 And really be a place that the people there can thrive, have great employment.

00:08:29.960 Once this starts going, we think there should be 100% full employment and opportunity for

00:08:33.700 everybody there.

00:08:34.960 And we have a lot of data on what can be.

00:08:37.020 But we think that this really gives the Gazan people an opportunity to live their aspirations.

00:08:41.280 But it all starts with security.

00:08:42.980 And it all starts with governance.

00:08:44.520 Final note I'll just say on the Board of Peace, which is that all the lessons we're doing is

00:08:49.400 we're basically studying the best practices from all over the world.

00:08:51.980 And we're watching who does education the best, who does health care delivery the best.

00:08:55.660 All these things are – it's not secret IP.

00:08:58.640 All this is IP that the Board of Peace is going to make public.

00:09:01.240 And we want to encourage all the countries to be able to follow these best practices.

00:09:04.720 A lot of the things that President Trump is doing in America, if they're working, we should

00:09:08.920 all be copying them.

00:09:09.700 If we find what's working in other countries, we should be copying them too.

00:09:12.700 And so what the Board of Peace will have the ability to do if we're sexful with Gaza is 0.98

00:09:17.040 really show how do you do peace implementation, which is something that when we got this deal

00:09:21.080 done, we didn't really find too much expertise or know-how on how to do it.

00:09:24.960 So as we're creating this system, hopefully it's something that we can just document these

00:09:28.860 learnings and make them available to all else who want to use them in the future.

00:09:32.780 So demilitarization, this is something we're starting now that we have a new government

00:09:36.300 in Gaza.

00:09:37.220 This government will be working with Hamas on the demilitarization to really take the

00:09:41.980 principles that were agreed to in the document to the next phase.

00:09:44.740 And hopefully that will be successful.

00:09:46.400 Without that, we can't rebuild.

00:09:47.920 So if Hamas does not demilitarize, that will be what holds back Gaza and the people of Gaza 1.00

00:09:53.140 from achieving their aspiration.

00:09:54.800 And that's very important.

00:09:56.080 So the next 100 days, we're going to continue to just be heads down and focused on making sure

00:09:59.580 this is implemented.

00:10:00.280 We continue to be focused on humanitarian aid, humanitarian shelter, but then creating

00:10:05.340 the conditions to move forward.

00:10:07.720 So thank you.

00:10:08.780 Final point I'll just make is this is really only possible because of the work of so many

00:10:13.520 people and President Trump's great leadership.

00:10:16.060 But a lot of you have been asking, how can we help?

00:10:18.320 So the countries have all been incredibly generous.

00:10:20.200 We'll be doing the first conference where we'll announce a lot of the contributions that

00:10:24.080 will be made in a couple of weeks in Washington.

00:10:26.600 From the private sector, there'll be amazing investment opportunities.

00:10:29.720 I know it's a little risky to be investing in a place like this, but we need you to come

00:10:33.000 take faith, invest in the people, try to be a part of it.

00:10:36.380 And then finally, I'll just talk to people on the media and on the social media, which

00:10:40.300 is this deal only happened because we worked with Israel.

00:10:44.300 We worked with Turkey.

00:10:45.160 We worked with Qatar.

00:10:46.000 We worked with Saudi.

00:10:47.020 We worked with Egypt.

00:10:48.480 I mean, everyone worked together.

00:10:49.680 We worked with UAE.

00:10:50.540 We all worked together to make this happen.

00:10:53.020 I see a lot of people trying to escalate, you know, criticizing Israel or Israelis criticizing

00:10:57.360 Turkey or Qatar.

00:10:58.520 Just calm down for 30 days.

00:10:59.940 I think that the war is over.

00:11:01.360 Let's do our best to try working together.

00:11:03.500 Our goal here is peace between Israel and the Palestinian people.

00:11:06.600 Everyone wants to live peacefully.

00:11:07.960 Everyone wants to live with dignity.

00:11:09.480 Let's put our efforts towards promoting those who are doing the work to build this up, like

00:11:13.060 Ali and his committee.

00:11:14.300 Let's focus on the positive stories and let's just calm down, turn a new chapter.

00:11:19.040 And if we believe that peace is possible, then peace really can be possible.

00:11:24.760 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.

00:11:29.660 Pray for our enemies because we're going medieval on these people.

00:11:34.960 I got a free shot.

00:11:36.240 All these networks lying about the people, the people have had a belly full of it.

00:11:41.100 I know you don't like hearing that.

00:11:42.320 I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop

00:11:45.060 it.

00:11:45.260 It's going to happen.

00:11:46.540 And where do people like that go to share the big line?

00:11:49.940 Mega media.

00:11:51.260 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.

00:11:56.700 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?

00:12:00.480 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.

00:12:06.660 War Room.

00:12:07.680 Here's your host, Stephen K.

00:12:09.760 Bannon.

00:12:12.320 It's Thursday, 22 January, Euroville, or 2026.

00:12:18.180 President Trump is back, I think, en route back to the United States.

00:12:21.880 A whirlwind effort.

00:12:24.040 Of course, yesterday was all Greenland and all the situation with NATO.

00:12:29.520 The outline of the – and we told you he would come with a – he would get a framework.

00:12:34.100 And he did it on the first day.

00:12:35.500 I thought it actually may roll to the second day.

00:12:37.260 He got it on the first day.

00:12:38.220 Greenland deal, small pockets.

00:12:40.400 This is the overview of the framework.

00:12:43.640 It involves small pockets of land for the United States.

00:12:46.360 It involves Greenland's mineral rights.

00:12:49.720 Duration of the deal has an indefinite timeframe designed to block Russian influence in Greenland.

00:12:55.020 U.S. Golden Dome, that is the anti-ballistic missile system to protect the United States, will be involved.

00:13:01.520 So it will be deployed.

00:13:02.920 That will be the start of it.

00:13:04.840 This is why the Arctic is so important.

00:13:06.360 So the Golden Dome, an anti-ballistic missile system, will be involved.

00:13:10.820 Open doors to U.S.-backed infrastructure investment from private companies.

00:13:15.080 And President Trump looking to secure land, minerals, and defense in one overall deal.

00:13:22.280 And, you know, all this stuff about NATO and abandoning NATO, where's NATO been in this whole thing?

00:13:28.060 Oh, they were with us in the Middle East.

00:13:29.500 Come on, man.

00:13:31.180 In Iraq and in Afghanistan? 0.61

00:13:34.100 Not that I'm promoting those wars should have been even fought.

00:13:36.860 But it was all optics.

00:13:39.680 It's performative.

00:13:40.980 Their involvement as an ally to even protect themselves has been totally and completely performative.

00:13:47.420 President Trump is well within his rights.

00:13:48.860 Also, new Gaza. 0.51

00:13:52.420 Bottom line, as I keep saying, you got a new Palestinian state.

00:13:55.940 Look at that.

00:13:56.280 Jared walks through.

00:13:57.860 This has been very developed.

00:13:59.380 They have big capital commitments.

00:14:01.040 Look at the artwork.

00:14:02.620 I mean, it looks like Miami Beach on testosterone.

00:14:07.660 That thing's going forward.

00:14:09.340 You have a Palestinian state that's going to be well-financed, super modern, with the Turks as security. 0.59

00:14:17.220 As Jared says, give it a while.

00:14:18.620 I mean, what they've brought together so far is, quite frankly, awe-inspiring.

00:14:24.140 If your goal is peace over there, they're driving the train.

00:14:29.680 But for anybody that said, hey, you can't have a two-state solution.

00:14:33.140 Well, you've got a two-state solution.

00:14:34.340 I noticed crickets from Tel Aviv Levin in the crowd of the reality of what's going on.

00:14:41.440 The Board of Peace kicked off today.

00:14:43.100 I believe the United States is pulling out of World Health Organization one year after President Trump said what happened.

00:14:49.220 We're going to go to Jack Smith, the grilling, all next packed morning in the war room.

00:14:54.380 There's a lot of politicians that should be getting coal in their stockings for Christmas. 1.00

00:15:04.140 But Birch Gold thinks as a smart planner, you deserve silver.

00:15:09.660 That's why for every $5,000 you purchase between now and December 22nd, Birch Gold will send you an ounce of silver free.

00:15:18.420 Remember, silver is up over 60% this year and over $60 an ounce.

00:15:26.020 You see, smart people diversify and have a hedge.

00:15:30.100 That's why I encourage you to buy gold from Birch Gold.

00:15:32.920 With the rate cuts from the Fed in 2026, the dollar will be worth less.

00:15:37.100 And what happens if the AI bubble bursts?

00:15:39.340 First, diversify.

00:15:41.240 Let Birch Gold Group help you convert an existing IRA or 401k into a tax-sheltered IRA in physical gold.

00:15:49.780 Let me repeat that.

00:15:51.020 Physical gold.

00:15:52.720 And for every $5,000 you buy, you'll get an ounce of silver for your stocking or for your kids.

00:15:59.180 What a great way to teach them about saving smartly.

00:16:02.480 Just text my name, Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N, to 989898 to claim your eligibility for this offer.

00:16:09.780 Again, text Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N, to the number 989898 today because Birch Gold's free silver with qualifying purchase promotion ends the 22nd of December of this year.

00:16:24.780 Make sure you text Bannon to 989898.

00:16:28.660 Do it today.

00:16:29.120 Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.

00:16:35.400 Okay, we've got to juggle a lot of balls today. 0.91

00:16:38.480 I'm going to have a lot more to say about the Board of Peace, about Gaza, about all of it, obviously, Greenland, what's going on.

00:16:45.140 Peter Schweitzer is going to join us at 11, so we're going to juggle the Jack Smith hearing, which is vitally important.

00:16:50.500 We're going to stream it all live.

00:16:52.260 We're having Julie Kelly tonight for a summary.

00:16:54.460 This is in mucho importance, so let's go right now.

00:16:59.120 Jim Jordan is going to kick it off as the chairman of the Judiciary Committee.

00:17:03.400 We'll begin today's hearing with opening statements.

00:17:06.660 Chair is now recognized for an opening statement.

00:17:08.500 It was always about politics.

00:17:10.140 And to get President Trump, they were willing to do just about anything.

00:17:15.100 January 7th, 2023, Kevin McCarthy becomes Speaker of the House.

00:17:20.620 16 days later, Jack Smith issues a subpoena for his phone records.

00:17:25.600 Phone records from two years prior for a two-month time frame, Election Day 2020, to January 7th, 2021.

00:17:33.400 Jack Smith and the Biden Justice Department get the phone records of the top Republican in government, the guy second in line to the president.

00:17:42.860 They know who he called, who called him, when the call took place, and how long it lasted.

00:17:49.940 You can pattern an individual's life.

00:17:51.920 They know who the speaker talked to before big votes, who he talked to after big votes, when he calls his colleagues, when he calls his family.

00:17:59.940 And to add insult to injury, they go to the judge with the subpoena for a gag order on the carrier.

00:18:07.060 AT&T, don't tell your customer, the Speaker of the House, that you just gave his phone calls to Jack Smith and Joe Biden.

00:18:16.280 And here's the kicker.

00:18:19.240 They say to the court, we need this gag order because he's a flight risk.

00:18:25.420 Someone might tamper with witnesses or with evidence.

00:18:28.580 Are you kidding me?

00:18:29.900 The Speaker of the House is going to run?

00:18:32.620 They got my phone records for two and a half years.

00:18:35.240 Even the Democrats said this was wrong.

00:18:39.460 But of course, we shouldn't be surprised.

00:18:42.160 Democrats have been going after President Trump for 10 years.

00:18:46.720 For a decade.

00:18:48.420 And the country should never, ever forget what they did.

00:18:51.960 Over the next few hours, we're going to hear a lot of yelling and screaming, I assume, from the other side.

00:18:57.060 But we should never forget what took place, what they did to the guy, we the people, elected president twice.

00:19:07.240 It all started in 2016 when they spied on his campaign.

00:19:10.800 The Clinton campaign hired the law firm Perkins Coie, who hired the public relations firm Fusion GPS, who hired a foreigner, Christopher Steele, to put together the fake dossier. 0.95

00:19:22.820 A bunch of garbage in that document.

00:19:25.920 But that was used by Jim Comey's FBI. 0.97

00:19:29.120 And we all know Jim Comey.

00:19:31.380 He was the guy who just last year was strolling along the beach when the good Lord had the waves wash up on shore, seashells in the formation of 8647.

00:19:41.600 That guy took that dossier to the FISA court, lied to the court, and then spied on the other party's campaign.

00:19:52.080 This, of course, led to the Mueller investigation, two and a half years, 19 lawyers, 40 agents, $30 million to find nothing, no conspiracy, no coordination whatsoever.

00:20:07.520 Then it was impeachment one, anonymous whistleblower.

00:20:11.400 We couldn't even know who was bringing the charge against the guy they were trying to take it, the guy we elected, who they were trying to kick out of office.

00:20:17.600 We couldn't know. Secret hearings in the bunker, in the basement of the Capitol.

00:20:24.180 Again, nothing.

00:20:26.580 Then it was impeachment two.

00:20:28.860 No secret hearings here because they didn't have any hearings.

00:20:32.940 It was a snap impeachment.

00:20:34.740 And the Senate trial actually took place after President Trump wasn't in office.

00:20:39.880 Then, of course, it was Alvin Bragg, who said before he got elected district attorney that there was no case here.

00:20:46.320 Then he gets elected and changes his mind when the left starts pressuring him to go after President Trump.

00:20:53.500 He hires Michael Colangelo, former Democrat National Committee consultant, and the number three guy at the Department of Justice.

00:21:02.480 And then, of course, it's Fonnie and Nathan.

00:21:06.080 Fonnie Willis and Nathan Wade in Fulton County, Georgia.

00:21:09.480 We actually deposed, Mr. Wade, one of the most interesting depositions I've sat through.

00:21:16.000 We said to him, you know, you billed taxpayers in Georgia thousands of dollars for meetings in D.C. with the January 6th committee and with the Biden administration.

00:21:24.720 And we asked him some questions.

00:21:27.460 Who did you talk to, Mr. Wade?

00:21:29.840 He couldn't remember.

00:21:31.580 We said, where'd you meet?

00:21:33.060 Did you meet the Capitol?

00:21:34.080 Did you meet the White House?

00:21:36.460 Where'd you meet?

00:21:37.280 Couldn't remember that either.

00:21:38.940 We said, were these meetings in person, on the phone?

00:21:42.760 Or did you have a Zoom meeting?

00:21:44.680 Couldn't remember.

00:21:46.040 Couldn't remember.

00:21:47.640 Couldn't remember.

00:21:48.680 We finally just asked him, did you really come to D.C. and meet people?

00:21:52.300 He said, oh, yeah, I came.

00:21:53.640 And I billed the taxpayers.

00:21:54.700 I know I came.

00:21:56.000 Just no idea who he talked to or what he did.

00:21:58.900 And then there was the raid on President Trump's home.

00:22:04.080 You know, where they searched Barron's room in the First Lady's closet.

00:22:08.700 In our deposition with Stephen D'Antuano, head of the FBI Washington field office, he told us none of the normal process, none of the normal protocol was followed in the investigation.

00:22:20.880 He said, first of all, the case was run out of D.C.

00:22:24.120 Normally, you run it out of the Miami field office.

00:22:26.740 No, no, no.

00:22:27.260 We're going to run out of D.C.

00:22:28.900 He said he recommended, and the people in the FBI at the time in the Washington field office recommended they give the president notice before they do the search.

00:22:36.860 Or at least when they got there, before they start the search, call the president's lawyers, ask them to come there and meet them and conduct the search together.

00:22:46.080 Again, the answer from Maine Justice was no.

00:22:49.840 Now, which brings us back to Mr. Smith, on November 18th, 2022, three days after President Trump announces he's running for president, Attorney General Garland names Jack Smith special counsel.

00:23:04.020 One of the first things Mr. Smith does is put on his team the very people responsible for the raid on President Trump's home.

00:23:14.760 The very people.

00:23:15.700 And then Jack Smith also puts on his team the people responsible for getting the phone records of dozens of members of Congress.

00:23:24.160 People like Thomas Wyndham.

00:23:26.700 When we deposed him, took the fifth 71 times.

00:23:31.000 We've actually referred him to the Justice Department for obstructing our investigation.

00:23:35.440 Jack Smith then gets a gag order in his investigation on President Trump from Judge Chutkin without filing a single affidavit with the court from a witness or a potential witness that they felt threatened by statements from the president.

00:23:51.140 Stop and think about it.

00:23:52.980 Jack Smith restricts the speech of the former president while he's a candidate for president.

00:23:59.660 Thank goodness Mr. Smith was slapped down on appeal and the order was changed.

00:24:04.380 In fact, just two weeks ago, the Washington Post editorial page, Jack Smith would have blown a hole in the First Amendment.

00:24:13.580 I just want to read two sentences from this.

00:24:18.700 Mr. Smith seemed unconcerned about interfering in the Democratic process by seeking to muzzle a candidate for high office.

00:24:25.080 Three appellate judges, all nominated by Democrat presidents, ruled that Mr. Smith's proposed gag order infringed on President Trump's First Amendment rights.

00:24:36.380 And of course they did.

00:24:38.380 And this wasn't the only time Mr. Smith lost in court.

00:24:41.860 In the classified documents case in Miami, Judge Cannon held that Mr. Smith was not permitted to be special counsel.

00:24:48.340 Jack Smith was never properly appointed.

00:24:49.940 In fact, he couldn't be properly appointed because he was never confirmed by the Senate for any position in the executive branch as the law requires.

00:25:00.060 Here's what Judge Cannon stated.

00:25:02.780 Quote, the special counsel's position effectively usurps that important legislative authority, transferring it to a head of department and in the process threatening the structural liberty inherent in the separation of powers.

00:25:16.020 And of course, on July 1st, 2024, the United States Supreme Court ruled that President Trump had immunity for actions taken in his official capacity as the president.

00:25:28.580 One month later, after this decision by the Supreme Court, Jack Smith files a superseding indictment on August 27th, 2024.

00:25:38.000 But Mr. Smith doesn't stop there.

00:25:40.880 He does something unprecedented.

00:25:42.260 On October 2nd, he files a motion with the court before President Trump's defense counsel has even responded to the indictment.

00:25:52.960 Everyone knows the normal process is the government indicts, the defense responds with some motions, and then the government responds to the defense.

00:26:01.580 But Mr. Smith skips the second step.

00:26:04.520 And the brief that he files is 165 pages, almost four times the court limit.

00:26:09.940 Even liberal Judge Chutkin, who's given Jack Smith everything he's asked for in the course of this investigation, even she called it atypical and irregular.

00:26:21.540 Now, why would Jack Smith do that?

00:26:24.360 Why would he abandon proper procedure?

00:26:26.960 Why would he ignore court rules?

00:26:29.600 Why would he do that?

00:26:30.520 Because he's running out of time.

00:26:33.820 There's an election around the corner.

00:26:35.780 It's coming in 33 days.

00:26:38.540 And he's got to get President Trump.

00:26:40.560 He's got to stop President Trump from running, tie him up in court.

00:26:44.300 He's got to get to trial or at a minimum, insert an 165-page political document into the presidential campaign.

00:26:52.640 It was always about politics.

00:26:57.060 The good news is the American people saw through it.

00:27:01.380 They saw through it.

00:27:03.140 For so long, the left has controlled so much in this country.

00:27:07.800 The left controlled big media.

00:27:09.400 The left controlled big tech.

00:27:10.920 The left controlled academia, Hollywood, certainly the Democrat Party, and I think all too much the federal bureaucracy.

00:27:18.520 But the left doesn't control we the people.

00:27:22.560 And in spite of the left and the weaponization efforts of Jim Comey, Alvin Bragg, Bonnie Willis, and Jack Smith, we the people saw through it all.

00:27:33.740 And we elected President Trump twice.

00:27:37.120 Before turning to the ranking member for his opening statement, I would just ask unanimous consent to enter into the record.

00:27:44.560 Let me have it.

00:32:04.800 Michael Fanon, Aquilina Ganel, Daniel Hodges, and Harry Dunn.

00:32:09.100 And I thank them for being here today.

00:32:11.740 Mr. Smith, thank you for appearing before the American people.

00:32:15.280 I'm glad that the committee has finally granted you the same chance to report your findings to the American people

00:32:21.660 that every other special counsel investigating an American president has had.

00:32:27.400 The good chairman started by saying, it's all about the politics.

00:32:30.820 Well, maybe for them, but for us, it's all about the rule of law.

00:32:34.680 And who's going to stand by the rule of law, and who's going to oppose it?

00:32:38.060 Now, Mr. Smith, you're one of America's great prosecutors.

00:32:43.100 For nearly three decades, you worked for justice under both Republicans and Democrats.

00:32:48.180 The Manhattan DA office, where you prosecuted sex crimes and domestic violence cases.

00:32:53.920 The Eastern District of New York, where you prosecuted murderers, rapists, gangbangers, and other violent criminals.

00:33:00.320 Leading the public integrity section at the Department of Justice, you brought prosecutions against corrupt public officials across the political spectrum.

00:33:11.520 When you went to The Hague as chief prosecutor in the Kosovo trial, you prosecuted war crimes and crimes against humanity perpetrated against thousands of innocent victims.

00:33:26.060 While others may have devoted their lives to corrupt self-enrichment, you have devoted your life to the rule of law and to public service.

00:33:35.680 You've never been prosecuted for anything.

00:33:38.420 You've never been convicted of anything.

00:33:40.980 As far as I can tell, you've never even been the subject of a disciplinary proceeding over the course of your multi-decade career.

00:33:48.120 But Donald Trump says you're a criminal and you belong in prison.

00:33:52.020 He says you belong in prison, not because you did anything wrong, mind you, but because you did everything right.

00:34:00.560 You pursued the facts.

00:34:02.360 You followed the law.

00:34:04.780 You stuck with extreme caution to every rule of professional responsibility.

00:34:11.220 You had the audacity to do your job.

00:34:14.040 Everybody here knows what you did wrong in Donald Trump's eyes and why he says you belong in prison.

00:34:24.340 You found, and I quote from your sworn testimony before the committee, you found proof beyond a reasonable doubt that President Trump engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results of the 2020 election and to prevent the lawful transfer of power.

00:34:41.820 When asked whether you believed the evidence was enough to obtain a criminal conviction against Donald Trump at trial, you had a one-word answer.

00:34:52.140 Yes.

00:34:53.340 When asked if Donald Trump was responsible for the violence that took place at the Capitol on January 6th, you said our view of the evidence was that he caused it and that he exploited it and that it was foreseeable to him.

00:35:06.760 When you found that Trump knew he had lost the election, you found that Trump knew he had lost the election.

00:35:11.880 How?

00:35:12.360 Well, his own attorney general, William Barr, repeatedly told him so and described all of Trump's theories as BS.

00:35:19.800 Trump's top campaign advisors told him he lost the election.

00:35:24.440 Vice President Pence told him he lost the election.

00:35:27.340 More than 60 federal, state, and court decisions, including eight rendered by judges, he appointed to the bench, rejected every outlandish election fraud and corruption claim that he made.

00:35:40.740 Trump himself even privately acknowledged it, gesturing to Joe Biden on TV and saying, quote,

00:35:47.000 Can you believe I lost to that effing guy?

00:35:49.940 He knew he lost, but he threw everything into his big lie, which some people, even in this room to this day, will stand by and swear by.

00:36:01.960 Well, when the big lie wasn't enough to convince officials like Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, a Republican, to commit election fraud and just fine Trump 11,780 votes,

00:36:12.700 when it wasn't enough to convince Trump's DOJ to, quote, just call the election corrupt and leave the rest to me and the House Republicans,

00:36:21.420 when it wasn't enough to force Vice President Mike Pence to announce and then exercise lawless powers to reject electoral college votes and use counterfeit slates to anoint Trump the winner,

00:36:35.520 that's when Trump incited mass violence on January 6th.

00:36:40.640 While more than 140 officers were being brutally assaulted by Trump's mob, while rioters beat them with flagpoles and sprayed them with chemical agents and crushed them in doorways,

00:36:52.060 and while they chanted, hang Mike Pence and chase the Vice President out of the Capitol, Trump and his team worked the phones,

00:37:01.300 calling not the National Guard, which was under the direct unilateral control of Donald Trump,

00:37:07.480 but calling members of Congress, urging them to delay certification and to nullify the election results.

00:37:17.440 Special Counsel Smith, you pursued the facts.

00:37:20.480 You followed every applicable law, ethics rule, and DOJ regulation.

00:37:24.860 Your decisions were reviewed by the Public Integrity Section.

00:37:28.140 You acted based solely on the facts, the opposite of Donald Trump, who now has purported to take over the Department of Justice.

00:37:36.940 He's in charge of the whole thing under his unitary executive theory, and he acts openly, purely based on political vendetta

00:37:46.040 and motives of personal revenge, and he doesn't deny it.

00:37:50.700 Our colleagues have complained about the Special Counsel's review of toll records, which are phone records, like a phone bill,

00:37:58.780 showing only the timing and duration of calls and containing no content, no substance whatsoever from the calls.

00:38:06.900 But those records were lawfully subpoenaed because Donald Trump made those members of Congress relevant to the investigation.

00:38:13.880 It was Trump who chose to call them to advance his criminal scheme.

00:38:18.560 As you testified, Mr. Smith, if Donald Trump had chosen to call a number of Democratic senators,

00:38:24.220 we would have gotten toll records for them, too.

00:38:27.880 I trust our colleagues get the point, because America certainly gets the point.

00:38:32.820 There is much Mr. Smith still can't talk about, though we know he badly wants to.

00:38:37.440 His investigation developed what he calls powerful evidence that Trump stole documents containing our country's most sensitive secrets,

00:38:44.820 hoarded them in the ballrooms and the bathrooms of his well-trafficked Mar-a-Lago social club.

00:38:51.800 He showed them off to visitors, and then he obstructed a federal investigation by instructing his attorney to pluck out anything really bad

00:39:00.060 before turning materials over to the FBI and having his staff delete incriminating security tape footage.

00:39:07.440 But today, we're not going to hear a lot about that, because you are gagged by an absurd judicial order

00:39:12.900 rendered faithfully by Trump's most servile and sycophantic appointee to the federal bench, Judge Eileen Cannon.

00:39:20.100 This order not only blocks release of volume two of your report, which is unprecedented about the classified document scam,

00:39:27.780 it also gags you from discussing the report or its contents with us, with America.

00:39:34.120 So we don't know what's in it, but it must be pretty devastating, because Donald Trump is desperate to keep Mr. Smith

00:39:40.460 or any other DOJ official for all time from ever releasing it to Congress and to the American people.

00:39:48.100 Now, Mr. Smith, if any of our colleagues foolishly choose to attack you and vilify you today,

00:39:57.340 and I know that's not going to happen from some serious prosecutors over there, like Mr. Knott and Mr. Schmidt,

00:40:03.920 who understand what federal prosecutors do and what the rule of law means.

00:40:07.480 But if anybody decides to attack you personally, they will only be revealing their own ignorance of what prosecutors do

00:40:14.900 and their own indifference to what the rule of law requires in America.

00:40:18.740 They will only be stroking the wounded ego of a lawless, twice-impeached, convicted felon president

00:40:26.860 who not only unleashed a mob against Congress and his own vice president,

00:40:31.480 but is now pardoned and released into our communities hundreds of extremists, insurrectionists,

00:40:37.640 and cop-beating felons who have proceeded to commit dozens more crimes against the American people

00:40:45.060 since they were pardoned.

00:40:46.860 Mr. Smith, I understand you are a long-distance marathon runner.

00:40:51.280 I read that you're a triathlete who's done more than 100 triathlons and nine Ironman competitions.

00:40:57.980 You are in the fight for justice and the rule of law for the long distance, for the long haul,

00:41:03.400 and I thank you for that, and we should all try to follow your example.

00:41:07.380 America looks forward to your testimony today.

00:41:09.900 I yield back to you, Mr. Chairman.

00:41:11.760 The gentleman yields back without objection.

00:41:13.140 All of their opening statements will be included in their record.

00:41:15.200 We will now introduce today's witness.

00:41:16.540 Mr. Jack Smith was appointed as special counsel on November 18, 2022.

00:41:21.980 He served until January 7, 2025.

00:41:24.760 We welcome our witness today.

00:41:26.360 We'll begin by swearing you in.

00:41:27.760 Would you please rise and raise your right hand?

00:41:33.400 Do you swear or affirm under penalty of perjury that the testimony you're about to give is true

00:41:37.560 and correct to the best of your knowledge, information, and beliefs so help you, God?

00:41:40.740 I do.

00:41:41.620 Let the record reflect that the witness has answered in the affirmative.

00:41:44.540 Thank you.

00:41:44.880 You can be seated.

00:41:46.100 Please know that your written testimony will be entered into the record in its entirety.

00:41:49.360 Accordingly, we ask that you summarize your testimony.

00:41:51.900 Mr. Smith, you may begin.

00:41:55.620 Chairman Jordan, Ranking Member Raskin, members of the committee,

00:41:59.260 Thank you for the opportunity to discuss my work as special counsel.

00:42:04.740 I love my country and believe deeply in the core principles upon which it was founded.

00:42:11.740 For nearly three decades, I've served as a career prosecutor in both Republican and Democratic administrations.

00:42:18.680 I've handled cases ranging from domestic assault and gang violence

00:42:23.200 to public corruption and election crimes across the United States

00:42:27.300 and I've prosecuted war crimes overseas.

00:42:30.980 I am not a politician and I have no partisan loyalties.

00:42:36.520 My career has been dedicated to serving our country by upholding the rule of law.

00:42:43.980 Throughout my public service, my approach has always been the same.

00:42:47.140 Follow the facts and the law without fear or favor.

00:42:53.240 Experienced prosecutors know that specific case outcomes are beyond our control.

00:42:59.560 Our responsibility is to do the right thing, the right way, for the right reasons.

00:43:05.580 These principles have guided me through my career, including as special counsel.

00:43:09.560 I'm proud of the work my team did, and I appreciate the opportunity to appear here today

00:43:16.340 to correct false and misleading narratives about our work.

00:43:21.060 During my tenure as special counsel, we followed Justice Department policies,

00:43:26.000 we observed legal requirements, and took actions based on the facts and the law.

00:43:32.600 I made my decisions without regard to President Trump's political association, activities, beliefs,

00:43:43.380 or candidacy in the 2024 election.

00:43:47.340 President Trump was charged because the evidence established that he willfully broke the law,

00:43:53.380 the very laws he took an oath to uphold.

00:43:56.520 Grand juries in two separate districts reached this conclusion based on his actions,

00:44:02.640 as alleged in the indictments they returned.

00:44:06.240 Rather than accept his defeat in the 2020 election,

00:44:09.220 President Trump engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results

00:44:13.580 and prevent the lawful transfer of power.

00:44:16.160 After leaving office in January of 21, President Trump illegally kept classified documents

00:44:23.480 at his Mar-a-Lago Social Club and repeatedly tried to obstruct justice

00:44:28.060 to conceal his continued retention of those documents.

00:44:32.860 Highly sensitive national security information was held in a ballroom and a bathroom.

00:44:38.920 As I testify before the committee today, I want to be clear.

00:44:46.260 I stand by my decisions as special counsel, including the decision to bring charges against President Trump.

00:44:54.060 Our investigation developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt

00:44:57.420 that President Trump engaged in criminal activity.

00:45:01.600 If asked whether to prosecute a former president based on the same facts today,

00:45:06.620 I would do so regardless of whether that president was a Democrat or a Republican.

00:45:13.500 No one, no one should be above the law in this country,

00:45:17.800 and the law required that he be held to account, so that is what I did.

00:45:23.080 To have done otherwise on the facts of these cases

00:45:26.460 would have been to shirk my duties as a prosecutor and as a public servant,

00:45:32.260 of which I had no intention of doing.

00:45:34.560 I remain grateful for the counsel, judgment, and advice of my team.

00:45:40.900 President Trump has sought to seek revenge against career prosecutors,

00:45:46.580 FBI agents, and support staff simply for having worked on these cases.

00:45:52.760 To vilify and seek retribution against these people is wrong.

00:45:56.540 Those dedicated public servants are the best of us,

00:46:00.920 and it has been a privilege to serve with them.

00:46:05.720 After nearly 30 years of public service, including in international settings,

00:46:10.540 I have seen how the rule of law can erode.

00:46:14.220 My fear is that we have seen the rule of law function in our country

00:46:18.720 for so long that many of us have come to take it for granted.

00:46:25.180 The rule of law is not self-executing.

00:46:29.240 It depends on our collective commitment to apply it.

00:46:32.980 It requires dedicated service on behalf of others,

00:46:37.900 especially when that service is difficult and comes with costs.

00:46:41.840 Our willingness to pay those costs is what tests

00:46:45.300 and defines our commitment to the rule of law

00:46:48.360 and to this wonderful country.

00:46:52.020 Thank you.

00:46:53.540 Gentlemen, we will now proceed under the five-minute rule.

00:46:57.560 We have votes coming.

00:46:59.440 There's actually, I don't know how this happened,

00:47:02.380 but they're going to actually have to recess for votes on the floor.

00:47:06.020 We're going to come back to the questioning, which is about to start.

00:47:09.140 Do I have a Ben Berkwam?

00:47:12.240 The Ben Berkwam is with us.

00:47:14.480 Ben, obviously we're taking a short break on the Jack Smith situation.

00:47:19.040 You're at a very important event today,

00:47:21.320 although I hear it may be some disturbance.

00:47:23.340 This is John Yepp and his team with this,

00:47:26.620 basically honoring Tom Homan from an official Catholic group.

00:47:32.620 Where are you?

00:47:33.680 What is going on?

00:47:36.100 Yeah, hey, Steve.

00:47:37.500 We're in Washington, D.C. right now with Catholics for Catholics

00:47:40.240 and the Gold Institute to honor Tom Homan for the Protector of America Award.

00:47:47.060 Nobody deserves it more what Tom Homan has done standing up for this country,

00:47:51.440 the Catholics for Catholics organization.

00:47:54.000 And really, this is such an important point that we within our churches,

00:47:59.440 whether you're Protestant or Catholic,

00:48:01.000 that you stand up for the values that you believe in.

00:48:03.600 And sometimes the church or some organizations go the wrong way.

00:48:07.340 Catholics for Catholics is really about focusing and refining what the Catholics believe in

00:48:13.020 and honoring the people that stand up for those values.

00:48:15.880 And today, that's Tom Homan.

00:48:16.840 So, Ben, I'm so glad this is happening today and we get to focus on home and the values of this.

00:48:28.820 I can tell you from the chat, we started off with the Board of Peace summary,

00:48:34.360 what's happening in Gaza, this kind of new Gaza, which is a Palestinian state.

00:48:38.320 Let's just be blunt.

00:48:39.180 And you see it.

00:48:39.720 It looks like something out of the Jetsons, right?

00:48:42.720 But you can tell there's going to be hundreds of billions of dollars spent there.

00:48:47.640 We then went to Jack Smith and all of this, you know,

00:48:50.620 today is supposed to be to really expose Jack Smith in front of the American people.

00:48:55.740 But we're asking these guys are going to fight back.

00:48:58.440 What the chat is saying, whether it's Getter, whether it's Rumble, the other things,

00:49:03.920 my phone's blown up, is about the focus.

00:49:08.220 You know, President Trump's been in Davos.

00:49:09.600 He did the Greenland deal with the framework.

00:49:11.220 There's all kinds of things going on.

00:49:12.360 He's meeting with Zelensky to, you know, bring peace to the world, to stop the Third World War.

00:49:16.620 Obviously, it's inextricably linked with America first, you know, Western hemisphere,

00:49:22.440 hemispheric dominance, the kind of Manifest Destiny 2.0, Monroe Doctrine, all of that.

00:49:28.740 But folks are sitting there going, hey, we've been watching Burkwam.

00:49:31.660 He's out there in the field, Holman.

00:49:33.600 They're not feeling it.

00:49:34.860 I'll just be blunt.

00:49:35.640 They're not feeling it on the central issue that we have to get our arms around

00:49:39.720 and we can't look away and we can't avoid it.

00:49:42.500 I don't care how uncomfortable this is, right?

00:49:45.180 And that is mass deportations.

00:49:47.340 There's a sense that people are blinking and that Tom Holman and continue to talk about

00:49:52.620 bad hombres and the worst criminals.

00:49:54.640 And you've heard it in Holman's comments over the last couple of days, your assignment.

00:49:59.080 You've not only spent five years on the border in the jungles down there telling us how this

00:50:05.080 was happening, showing us how 12 to 15 to 20 million illegal aliens were coming into the

00:50:10.740 country, but you've been at the forefront of going out with ICE and doing these raids.

00:50:16.060 Can you, just given your sense of where this is going, can you give your assurance that,

00:50:20.600 hey, behind the scenes, we're actually teeing up for the mass deportations?

00:50:25.300 Because if we don't do the mass deportations, nothing else matters.

00:50:29.400 The two things you got to do is go after the deep state hard, right?

00:50:33.540 And you have to get, you have to get the mass deportations rolling, whether, whether you like

00:50:39.060 it or not.

00:50:39.600 Otherwise, you're not going to have a country.

00:50:41.300 Your, your sense, sir.

00:50:44.060 Well, look, when I was down there, Steve, we got to backtrack a little bit.

00:50:47.140 You know, when I was down there in Lukeville, Arizona, or in Del Rio, Texas, or McAllen

00:50:51.920 and Brownsville and everywhere along our border, Sonoyita and all these places, I was watching

00:50:58.540 millions of illegals come across.

00:51:00.340 And I was thinking, okay, they know what they're doing.

00:51:02.420 The Democrats know exactly what they're doing.

00:51:04.100 They're doing this on purpose.

00:51:05.780 To what end?

00:51:06.880 And, and I, I prayed that we would win the election.

00:51:09.860 We won the election.

00:51:10.720 If we hadn't won the election, our country was dead.

00:51:14.460 The president Trump came in, we stopped the bleeding on the Southern border.

00:51:17.800 But what I wasn't necessarily prepared for was the, the, the pieces that the Democrats

00:51:24.260 already had in place to use the same NGOs that they use to invite the invasion into our 0.96

00:51:29.320 country.

00:51:29.740 And many of those we talk about all the time, Catholic charities, Lutheran social services,

00:51:34.100 Jewish family services, a lot of these same organizations that then are now leading some of the protests

00:51:39.480 along with Indivisible and these traitorous, treasonous organizations across America to

00:51:44.600 obstruct ICE doing their job.

00:51:46.180 And so from day one, when I rode with Tom Homan in Chicago, the very first day operations

00:51:50.700 rolled out to remove the illegals that Joe Biden, the Democrats had let in, there was obstruction

00:51:55.640 from the judiciary, all of these leftist communist judges to the politicians to direct action like

00:52:02.560 we're seeing in Minneapolis.

00:52:03.540 And so the, the fight that we're in, this is a, a bloody fight to undo the damage.

00:52:10.420 And it was clear this was orchestrated from the beginning.

00:52:12.500 They brought them in knowing it was going to be a disaster trying to get them out, having

00:52:16.660 the pieces in place.

00:52:17.600 But every time I've ridden with ICE or border patrol or any of the, the all of government

00:52:22.600 approach, FBI, DEA, ATF, they are all, every time they are changing their strategy.

00:52:28.440 This is what's so brilliant about president Trump and his team, Tom Homan, Christy Noem, the

00:52:31.960 entire team, obviously Stephen Miller, a big part of that.

00:52:35.600 The, these guys do not rest.

00:52:37.880 So as the left changes their tactics, they attack, they say, oh, you can't go in on administrative

00:52:42.520 warrants in California.

00:52:43.540 This is crazy.

00:52:44.720 And I'm releasing a video later today in California.

00:52:47.500 You cannot walk on the property of any suspected illegal alien because the ACLU sued.

00:52:53.900 And in 2022 under Joe Biden, they compromised and said, okay, fine.

00:52:57.800 We won't even go on the property of an illegal alien.

00:53:00.020 So if they're an apartment, I hear, I got, I got, by the way, I hear, hang on.

00:53:04.220 No, no, no, no, no, no.

00:53:05.060 Hang on.

00:53:05.380 I want to get to Johnny up.

00:53:06.700 I, I've hear all that.

00:53:08.440 That's I'd love it, but that's a word salad.

00:53:10.780 Okay.

00:53:11.020 We knew these guys going to be tough.

00:53:12.360 They organized 20 million people come in the fricking country in four years. 0.97

00:53:16.080 It's mass deportations.

00:53:17.480 You got to go.

00:53:18.000 We, I need to see CEOs perp walk, chief operating officers perp walk.

00:53:21.680 We need, I don't buy that.

00:53:24.300 I'm just telling you, they're doing everything.

00:53:25.020 I just don't buy that.

00:53:25.560 But what I'm waiting for, what you're waiting for is for prosecutions against these guys

00:53:29.600 that are obstructing.

00:53:30.420 Until that happens, you know, I don't think we're going to see what we need.

00:53:33.480 I'm not, I'm not, I, I, I'm not sure they're doing everything.

00:53:36.240 I think John Holman, who you're going to honor today is being, is being totally restrained

00:53:40.920 at what's happening.

00:53:41.560 And let's get to John Yepp.

00:53:42.800 Ask John Yepp, why are we even doing this today?

00:53:44.960 Yeah, John, thank you so much for having us out here.

00:53:48.780 It's great to have you.

00:53:49.500 Catholics for Catholics, this honoring of Tom Holman.

00:53:52.040 Talk to us about this event and what it's for and why it's so important.

00:53:56.240 Look, we all know, you, people like yourself, Ben, have been reporting on it for years that

00:54:00.360 the Catholic Church had a major role in this invasion at the southern border, right?

00:54:04.540 So we as Catholics feel that responsibility now to, number one, we voted President Trump

00:54:09.880 in, but also congratulate the people like Tom Holman who are doing the work to restore

00:54:14.900 law and order in our country.

00:54:16.400 And specifically, it's like, we don't talk about this enough.

00:54:19.800 62,000 children have been rescued by Tom Holman and ICE.

00:54:25.520 Why aren't we talking about this enough?

00:54:27.180 Why aren't church leaders speaking up about this?

00:54:29.280 You know, you can say whatever you want, inhumane treatment all day, whatever, whatever.

00:54:32.900 But can we please get together, focus and take us for a win for the kids?

00:54:36.660 Yeah, I mean, that on its own, 300,000, probably 500,000 lost kids under Biden, 62,000 where

00:54:44.300 it's an uphill battle to get them back.

00:54:46.700 And, you know, Steve was just asking me about that.

00:54:49.180 The American people want mass deportations.

00:54:50.940 I want mass deportations. 0.74

00:54:52.020 You look at what the Democrats did on this invasion.

00:54:54.600 Are you satisfied with what the administration's doing or what do you want to see?

00:54:58.360 I think both of you were alluded to early on.

00:55:00.180 We're not going to see that kind of deportation until people are arrested.

00:55:04.520 Like, speaking for my own self, Catholic Charities, who in Catholic Charities knew that they

00:55:09.240 were going to be involved in the facilitation of this invasion of the southern border?

00:55:13.340 Like, who are those people?

00:55:13.980 They need to be held accountable.

00:55:15.400 Because if not, it's going to continue on, right?

00:55:18.280 So credit to people like yourself, Ben.

00:55:20.100 I mean, we watched your videos all the time.

00:55:21.820 You were there on the southern border looking at the Catholic Charities, filming those videos.

00:55:25.040 Thank you so much.

00:55:26.180 So it's people like yourself and Tom, who this event is about today, to give that award to

00:55:30.360 the protectors of America.

00:55:31.800 We need to support these guys.

00:55:33.120 They need our prayers and our support.

00:55:35.500 Steve?

00:55:36.820 Ben, ask John, where do people go to find out more about Catholics for Catholics?

00:55:41.840 I want to send everybody to the website and social media right now.

00:55:45.360 Where can they go to find out more about the event and your guys' organizations?

00:55:48.120 You can watch it now live or you'll have it here on cforc.com.

00:55:52.200 Catholics for Catholics.

00:55:53.120 We're about mobilizing Catholics to get engaged in the fight for America.

00:55:56.420 So you're going to stay tuned for this event.

00:55:58.020 And most importantly, keep us in the prayers.

00:55:59.680 It's a spiritual battle, especially when you're talking about kids, okay?

00:56:02.140 A nation is defined by how it treats its young people. 0.79

00:56:07.060 It's the most vulnerable.

00:56:08.840 Thank you, John.

00:56:10.520 Ben, I will come back to you in the 11th on Cock Hour.

00:56:13.440 You'll stick around.

00:56:14.560 John Yepp right there.

00:56:15.760 That's taking responsibility.

00:56:17.720 He had nothing to do with Catholic Charities.

00:56:19.220 He's saying, hey, we as Catholics, that Catholic Charities happened under the official umbrella of the church

00:56:25.460 and money that was taken from Second Collections.

00:56:28.660 And there you have Catholics or Catholics saying, hey, we're going to step up.

00:56:32.260 We're going to honor Hohmann because we have an obligation here.

00:56:35.840 That's character.

00:56:37.260 That's what's going to turn this thing around.

00:56:39.100 Mass deportations are we ain't got a country.

00:56:42.400 It's that simple.

00:56:43.620 Short break.

00:56:44.380 Peter Schweitzer next in the War Room.
