In this episode, we re joined by Scott Walter, the Director of Capital Research at the Center for Capital Research, to discuss the role of foreign money in the anti-ICE rioting in the streets of America, and why it s a direct result of the color revolution.
00:01:05.000But you gave pretty explosive testimony in front of a group that you normally don't see explosive testimony.
00:01:11.000It was Jason Smith of Missouri, the chairman of Ways and Means, having a hearing that I know the Treasury Department and IRS and people have been talking about, but really was about in this color revolution we've got in the streets of America, which has to be the number one priority here of the mass deportations.
00:01:28.000The resistance to President Trump's efforts to do that is actually funded by not profits, NGOs, and you're making the case that it's coming from foreign money.
00:01:39.000Can you just walk us through, take a minute, exactly what the problem is, what your research, your capital research, you're the president of it.
00:01:46.000You've got a reputation of being kind of like Caesar's wife in this.
00:02:09.000They, you know, they aspire to be the Borg and they often operate like a Borg.
00:02:14.000So whenever something pops up, whether it's George Floyd's death or Hamas attack on Israel or the ICE enforcement of the law, they spring into action.
00:02:28.000And what's important to understand is it's bad enough that there are some Americans who are trying to finance this and organize this, but it's appalling when you find out that there are foreigners involved.
00:02:40.000And one of the chief foreigners in the ICE riots is somebody who technically Neville Roy Singham is his name.
00:02:48.000He sold his software company for three quarters of a billion.
00:02:57.000And he has a whole network of his own groups, including Code Pink and the People's Forum, which are central to those anti-ICE riots that you're seeing.
00:03:08.000Well, in fact, he's married to Jody Evans, who's one of the biggest revolutionaries in the country.
00:03:56.000Well, you know, he hides a lot of his funding, so the numbers are uncertain.
00:04:01.000He is certainly the most important foreign funder of it.
00:04:05.000And he certainly is a central part of this machinery, thanks to the People's Forum, Code Pink, Answer Coalition and other things he's mixed up in.
00:04:20.000He's a classic American success story.
00:04:22.000He didn't come from big money, but he built up a company that was worth three quarters of a billion.
00:04:26.000But then after he got the money by selling it, he runs to China and starts doing everything he can to help China take over the world and is very explicit that he loathes America.
00:04:37.000But then that's why he's working with the American left, because they do, too.
00:04:41.000Talk to me about there's a Swiss national also that's a big funder of this.
00:04:53.000He spends most of his time in Wyoming, but he refuses even to get a green card.
00:04:58.000And he has been one of the biggest funders of the Arabella Advisors nonprofit network, which is a billion and a half a year worth of operations.
00:05:08.000And as an example, part of the Arabella network runs a group where the woman who is the main person training the anti ice people is employed.
00:05:20.000Right. So she's doing trainings every few days on here's how to go attack ice.
00:05:25.000And she's doing it courtesy of this big lefty network that Hans-Jurg Wies is one of the top funders of.
00:05:31.000He's given over three hundred million dollars to that network.
00:05:56.000This just wasn't some random thing to have you there and to go through your research.
00:06:00.000What is what is the task and purpose of Jason Smith, you believe?
00:06:05.000Chairman Smith has been working very hard to identify these bad actors and to have something done about them through the IRS and the Treasury Department.
00:06:15.000And by the way, one one of the members on the other side of the aisle was screaming, you guys are going after people's speech.
00:06:41.000That is illegality that is the target.
00:06:44.000Scott, where can people find because this is the kickoff of what's going to be a very contentious process, because I know IRS and Treasury are very involved already and people are going to choke off the money.
00:06:57.000They're going to put an end to this nonsense.
00:07:38.000We have Dr. Navarro from the White House.
00:07:41.000Dr. Navarro, the Wall Street Journal has come out, you know, pretty adamant that you and President Trump have really failed in this endeavor to bring manufacturing back to the United States and particularly manufacturing jobs.
00:07:54.000You've got a pretty different I think first of you had a letter to the editor of the journal and then you had on tariffs and now you've got a big piece in The Washington Times.
00:08:08.000We got two lines of attack going on at The Wall Street Journal and the legacy media and the Democrats.
00:08:17.000The first line was the tariffs cause inflation.
00:08:21.000And at this point, we've pretty much beaten that back because the data just doesn't show that at all, Steve.
00:08:30.000And the letter to the editor in The Wall Street Journal is well worth a read today because it kind of walks through exactly why all the experts, including the likes of Paul Krugman, just get it wrong, including The Wall Street Journal.
00:08:46.000Today, I continue to fight on the other line of attack, which is somehow tariffs harm manufacturing rather than help it.
00:09:23.000And when it goes over 50, that means manufacturing is expanding.
00:09:27.000And, Steve, during the two years or so of the Biden regime, the last two years, that thing was down in recession territory.
00:09:37.000In other words, under the Biden policies, it just devastated manufacturing.
00:09:44.000We just last week had a breakthrough where this thing jumped five points in a single month to decisively push past 50, vindicating the idea that manufacturing is recovering.
00:10:00.000But the interesting thing about the piece is that, well, the ISM is generally what we call a leading indicator.
00:10:08.000And the most important part of the piece for the financial news networks and all of this is to point out that every other manufacturing indicator has been flashing green for months.
00:10:21.000And they've been ignoring that because they just don't want to see it.
00:10:24.000So, for example, the S&P manufacturing PMI repeatedly showing expansion.
00:10:30.000The Federal Reserve industrial production rising.
00:10:33.000Manufacturing productivity surging at 3.7% annually.
00:10:38.000Durable goods are just knocking it out of the park.
00:10:41.000They contribute to roughly half a percentage point, about 12% of overall growth in the gross domestic product in the third quarter alone.
00:10:49.000Why that's important, Steve, is if durable goods manufacturing is robust, that's the kind of manufacturing that's going to make the machines that are going to go into the factories that are going to make stuff and create the manufacturing jobs.
00:11:04.000So what people don't understand is like the three stages of the whole process.
00:11:15.000Third, we get just a bunch of construction jobs.
00:11:19.000And finally, we get the factories and the permanent factory jobs.
00:11:23.000And today's jobs report was a blowout number, but it also reinforced exactly the themes that I'm talking about here, Steve, because what we've got in that report, very interesting.
00:11:40.000It'll be up, my analysis will be up on real clear markets later this morning.
00:11:45.000It shows that we're not hiring any government workers anymore.
00:11:51.000That net down big time, all of the job growth is in the private sector.
00:11:57.000And we had kind of the sweet spot in this report.
00:12:01.000We had both a rising labor force participation rate, which means more people are participating, even as the unemployment rate went down.
00:12:12.000So that's like you don't see that very often.
00:12:43.000So, Steve, everything is working beautifully right now.
00:12:49.000And the trajectory here going into the November midterms, which is everything we're about at the White House, as is the war room, is you're going to see real wages rising.
00:13:06.000And you're going to see a lot of blue collar manufacturing jobs, which is not to say we're not very worried about AI and the white collar impacts and not just AI affecting jobs and also electricity prices.
00:13:29.000I know you're busy, but I got to hold you through the break because I want to come back and I want to I don't want to bury these leads.
00:13:33.000I want to tie together the breaking the 50 percent threshold on manufacturing, what that means.
00:13:39.000And also, when Peter Navarro says it's a blowout jobs report, I just want to go back to that and tie them both together because and also because when you're on the other day, there was some criticism rights by even some people in the MAGA right to saying, hey, the foreign burn workers are dropped.
00:13:56.000So it's 50,000 makes I just want to take a second and walk through this because the turnaround of the economy and the hole that we had was so deep is is massive.
00:14:08.000And it's a predicate for everything that's happening in the midterm.
00:14:13.000It's a predicate for all these other issues of mass deportations.
00:14:16.000And I'm telling I'm going to give you some bad news or a reality check.
00:14:19.000John Thune has said the Save Act and passing the Save Save America Act now that has the voter ID and has the purging of the voter rolls and has the, you know, different things about mail in ballots.
00:14:30.000Thune had just said has come out and says there's no possibility we're going to change the we're going to change the filibuster, including we're not making it.
00:14:39.000There's not enough votes even change to have a talking filibuster.
00:14:42.000So we are jammed up in the codification of some of President Trump's biggest policies he's put out through executive order.
00:16:26.000Okay, Peter, since this is the predicate, this is not the end all and be all.
00:16:32.000And there are some people, and I know the Speaker of the House and others are saying, oh, well, the economy is going to be so great, it's the economy stupid.
00:16:37.000We're in the middle of a fight for this country.
00:16:40.000We're in the middle of a color revolution, and that's pretty obvious.
00:16:43.000It's one of the reasons we shifted the flag down here to Texas for this primary, given the importance of not simply the Sharia law, right, and this Islamic invasion of Texas, and particularly North Texas.
00:16:56.000But I will tell people, since being down here on the ground, the H-1B visa problem is a very close second, and people are furious about it.
00:17:41.000We'll do a special about Tina Peters and the trials and tribulations of Tina Peters, a gold star mother held in a Colorado, what is it, medium, maximum security prison?
00:17:51.000Peter, you know about that, going to prison.
00:17:54.000So, concisely, explain to me why 50% on this rating is important, why we're above it, why the momentum is for manufacturing.
00:18:03.000Tie it to, as you call it, a blowout jobs number.
00:18:08.000The ISM Manufacturing Index historically has been the gold standard to measuring whether manufacturing in the economy is in expansion or recession.
00:18:19.000It's a diffusion index, zero to 100, and the magic number is 50.
00:18:24.000Anything over 50 signals that manufacturing is expanding and, therefore, manufacturing jobs are expanding.
00:18:33.000Now, go back in a time capsule to August 2022.
00:18:38.000That was the last time the ISM Manufacturing Index was above 50.
00:18:49.000And, by the way, Barry DeLee talking about today's jobs report, it reveals a total of 2 million jobs that were overestimated by Biden leading into the 2024 election.
00:19:09.000It was arguably the most, how do you call it, it's like a shell game, unethical, immoral, had the cooperation of bureaucrats at commerce and labor in order to pull that kind of magic trick off.
00:19:35.000And the fact that, here's how I tie this together, the fact that 2 million jobs were overstated, phantom jobs, explains now why the ISM Manufacturing Index couldn't get above 50.
00:19:52.000What's been perplexing me, Steve, is why the ISM has been underperforming as a good index during Trump years now.
00:20:02.000Because all of these other indices, which I mentioned, S&P Manufacturing, PMI, Federal Reserve Industrial Production, Manufacturing Productivity, Durable Goods, they're all pointing to a manufacturing renaissance under Trumpnomics.
00:20:21.000So, bottom line is, look, I understand better than most the pain people are suffering, both from inflation and the uncertainty of the job situation.
00:20:33.000All we can do in Trump land is provide the best possible policies to stimulate the economy and make sure MAGA folks, blue collar manufacturing workers, and the supply chains that tie into them, including service sector jobs, are going to prosper.
00:20:54.000And what I'm telling you, Steve, is that the policies that we've adopted are showing material improvements.
00:21:11.000So, when you're putting 20 million illegals into the country over a four-year period, you have to produce many, many, you have to create many, many more jobs just to keep the unemployment rate steady.
00:23:14.000So, I mean, the message here is that when you have more private sector jobs, that's where innovation, capital investment, and efficiency drive real output growth.
00:23:48.000And so, you know, Trump is doing not just something right.
00:23:54.000He's doing a lot of things right, which is not to say there aren't challenges out there, but we're tackling them, and that's all we can do, Steve.
00:24:02.000Peter, we're going to put all these, the real clear markets you're coming up with now on the jobs report.
00:24:07.000We're putting up the Washington Times op-ed.
00:24:09.000We'll get all the information out, plus your videos.
00:24:11.000Where do people go to get your content?
00:24:13.000You're putting up stuff every day in support of the president's economic program.
00:30:19.000You have a very professional organization that's done, I think, a billion dollars worth of transactions with the IRS for people just like yourself.
00:32:06.000No, I mean, it's a high-stakes meeting.
00:32:09.000I think Netanyahu will do whatever it takes to remain in the room and not on the menu.
00:32:14.000And I think humoring the president's goal of redeveloping Gaza, which I think remains basically a moonshot that's not going to happen during Trump's remaining time in office, is a small price to pay for Netanyahu.
00:32:27.000What he really wants, as you allude to, is the Greater Israel Project.
00:32:32.000He wants U.S. force of arms and U.S. grandeur and power to be used to flatten all of Israel's foes in the Muslim world on behalf of Israel.
00:32:44.000I mean, it's a fairly ambitious, frankly, and garish request.
00:32:51.000But Netanyahu has gotten this far, and it has been the linchpin of his political career ever since he rose to the prime ministership for the first time in the 90s.
00:32:59.000He's had tight alliances with U.S. neoconservatives and Republican hawks.
00:33:04.000And he's trying to reach the holy grail right now, which is regime change in Iran.
00:33:09.000Well, people, I can tell you, right now, with all the issues facing the country, including the color revolution, the mass deportations, we have an Islamic invasion in Texas and put Sharia law.
00:33:20.000And I've had people in 10 states come to me.
00:33:22.000They want to do the same thing in their states.
00:33:33.000Thune's been adamant that there's not enough impetus in the Senate to go to a standing filibuster.
00:33:39.000And you should understand some of the Senate.
00:33:41.000He just says, well, there's no there's no interest in this, no support.
00:33:44.000Some of the senators that don't support that are the biggest hawks about taking down taking down Tehran.
00:33:50.000A kinetic strike on Tehran right now, I think, would take the chances we have of holding the House and the Senate, which I happen to think are pretty good if we focus.
00:33:59.000I think it I think we go into a free fall.
00:34:02.000What what needs to happen with the voices of reason?
00:34:05.000I think even Rubio may have joined that given his body language today to make sure that we squeeze the Mullahs.
00:34:11.000We squeeze the Ayatollah and we do this to economic warfare, sir.
00:34:16.000Look, Trump has got to stiff the Republican old guard.
00:34:20.000I mean, it is that or he is going to be a repetition of Republican presidents of the past, as you can tell.
00:34:26.000And as you just discussed, the base case for the Senate GOP hawks is they want to do two things, cut taxes and bomb the Middle East.
00:34:34.000And obviously, President Trump's ambitions are far more sweeping than that.
00:34:39.000He wants to avoid a war. And I think, you know, Trump's got to take the off ramp here.
00:34:43.000There remains a deal on the table that is a better deal than Barack Obama ever got with the Iranians.
00:34:49.000And it will be a lower enrichment number.
00:34:52.000And I think there will probably be opportunities for investment, American investment in Iran that Trump finds so attractive.
00:34:58.000And as I discussed with your audience before, this is actually the most likely theater for Trump to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.
00:35:06.000If he does a war deal that the Europeans don't like on Ukraine, they're never going to give it for that.
00:35:11.000He's never going to get it at this point in Latin America with his feud with the Machado woman.
00:35:16.000But if he does a Iran deal that is more impressive than the democratically capital D negotiated one, that will about do it.
00:35:24.000And, you know, stiffing Netanyahu, flouting his will.
00:35:28.000It will look like he's the commander in chief.
00:35:30.000It will look like the Americas in the driver's seat.
00:35:32.000And it will be, you know, Nixon goes to China type accomplishment.
00:36:24.000At least nine people are dead and two dozen others hurt after separate shootings at a school and a home in a remote part of British Columbia.
00:36:33.000Canadian police confirming that at least six people were found dead inside the school while another died on the way to the hospital.
00:36:39.000The only suspect, a woman, was found dead inside the school from a self-inflicted injury.
00:36:46.000Two other victims were found dead at a nearby home believed to be connected with the shooter.
00:36:51.000The shooting is Canada's deadliest in nearly six years.
00:36:55.000The investigation into the motive continues.
00:38:43.000But we're doing that here as well, Steve.
00:38:45.000We can't get, you know, you're talking about the SAFE Act.
00:38:48.000We can't get the Congress and the Senate to do an exit plan for the one in four children or adults that are on these psychiatric drugs.
00:38:58.000You know, so we have we have a disgusting situation here of children on cocktails of drugs and then placed on puberty blockers and all sorts of things.
00:39:11.000But they start with the psychiatric diagnoses.
00:39:15.000They start in the behavioral health industry, which is a billion dollar industry.
00:39:22.000So, you know, it's hard to get into the devil's den, as you know, to pull these numbers and these numbers are tell the story.
00:39:32.000It's it's over and over and nobody will address this.
00:39:35.000If we care about children, which everybody is so up in arms about, which I am.
00:39:42.000Let's look at these psychiatrists and what they're doing to our children.
00:43:46.000We're trying to get him on tonight about the same topic.
00:43:48.000Do you owe back taxes or you haven't filed your taxes in years?
00:43:55.000Now is the time to resolve your tax matters.
00:43:58.000With the national conversation around abolishing the income tax, the IRS is fighting back and proving it's here to stay by becoming more aggressive than ever before.
00:44:09.000They're sending out more collection notices, filing more tax liens and collecting billions more in recent years.
00:44:16.000If you owe, the IRS can garnish your wages, levy your bank accounts, seize your retirement and even your home.
00:44:25.000If you owe or haven't filed, it's not a question of if the IRS will act.
00:44:33.000Right now, Tax Network USA is offering a completely free IRS research and discovery call to show you exactly where you stand and what they can stop before it's too late.
00:44:45.000Their powerful programs and strategies can save you thousands or even eliminate your debt entirely if you qualify.
00:47:59.000Yeah, so there's about the same amount of abortions happening in America today than there were before Roe was overturned with the Dobbs case.
00:48:07.000And so there is obviously still protections in place for taxpayer dollars, not funding through the Hyde Amendment.
00:48:13.000But what's happening is these pro-abortion states are essentially mailing drugs.
00:48:22.000Like I heard yesterday of a story just last night of a girl who went to a pregnancy resource center here in Texas.
00:48:27.000And Colorado was willing to fly her, pay for her abortion, put her up in a hotel, and fly her back to Texas so that she could have an abortion in the state of Colorado.
00:49:42.000So you can do the entire process online or you can call 972-PATRIOT.
00:49:45.000Whether you're an individual, whether you're a family, whether you're a business of five lines or a thousand lines, Patriot Mobile has plans for you.

00:49:55.000And many people haven't switched their phones in maybe 20 years.
00:49:58.000And so they think it's going to be a really arduous process.
