00:35:53.360Brian Kennedy joins me, one of our deepest thinkers on the MAGA side, one of our true public intellectuals.
00:36:21.180Brian, last night in the highest and high relief, the heroism and patriotism of the best of our country, this republic, and this deep pit of this cauldron of Marxism and chaos and anarchy and just absolutely everything anti-American.
00:36:51.920Yes, I thought it was a perfect evening.
00:36:54.560I thought that was President Trump's greatest speech of all time because it was both brilliantly partisan, given the fact that the audience was, as you say, full of Marxists.
00:37:07.540But he, rhetorically, President Trump was saying to the American people last night, you have a nation of heroes.
00:37:17.820Let me describe and present some awards to those heroes.
00:37:21.660This is the kind of country you have that create men like this and women like this.
00:37:27.540And that was a signal to the American people that you shouldn't be down in the dumps about anything.
00:37:34.280You should be looking up at these heroes.
00:39:41.140It's not about liberating Iran and liberating the people of Iran.
00:39:45.440It's about making sure the American people are defended against any enemy who would seek to destroy us.
00:39:53.600And given the capabilities of Iran today, they have ballistic missiles that are capable if you launch them from a ship against the United States.
00:40:04.280They have that capacity already today.
00:40:07.100And if they can combine that with a nuclear warhead, then you could see Iran in very short order, not 2035, as some people mentioned, but in very short order, having the capacity to destroy the United States.
00:40:24.040And so I thought that was an important feature of the speech, too.
00:40:26.520So I've got limited time and I do want to get you back on because I may have some disagreements with that.
00:40:34.380But I have enough respect for you that and the others that take that point of view that I want to have on and we'll work through with the you know, we put the the treat of Parsis on here and we put the current mills is on here.
00:40:44.520But people don't realize that Brian's been with us from the beginning.
00:40:48.760He's one of the heaviest weights of public intellectuals.
00:40:51.500And people don't understand what Brian does behind the scenes on everything from like fighting the stolen election.
00:40:57.040But Brian's always somebody who comes in and rolls his sleeves up.
00:40:59.640He's not just sitting there thinking great thoughts.
00:41:16.440We only got two, but give me give me two minutes on why you say in your discernment and judgment that this was President Trump's greatest speech.
00:41:28.520Well, look at the moment we're in, Steve.
00:41:33.520We have states in the Union that are in open rebellion to the United States government and our efforts to try to deport 25 million illegal aliens.
00:41:45.740Part of that part of that part of that group there on the left, they're supporting that open rebellion.
00:41:50.840We're in a virtual state of civil war.
00:41:54.380And the president, instead of trying to, you know, trying to ameliorate things, he divided the country in ways that were extremely useful in politics.
00:42:04.860It's useful to divide people if the other side has become unreasonable.
00:42:10.960Here's President Trump with his common sense saying, are you willing to stand up and put the American people before illegal aliens?
00:42:20.680And, you know, that takes a lot of courage to do, actually, in this kind of a speech.
00:42:26.920An everyday speech, you can maybe pull it off.
00:42:30.120In this kind of a speech, that took amazing courage to be that openly partisan, demonstrating how the Democratic Party has been given over to Marxists, communists, and people who would seek to destroy the American way of life.
00:42:46.060And so I was extremely proud of the president for being that forceful in that presentation.
00:42:53.340A lot of times, you know, the pundits in the mainstream media think this is a movement for dignity and bringing the country together.
00:43:05.560The country, part of it, is an open rebellion to the common sense policies of enforcing U.S. immigration law.
00:43:12.880They brought in 25 million people illegally, and now they seek to keep them here in this country, and President Trump is simply not going to have it.
00:43:23.620And so that kind of forcefulness from the president last night, I thought, was just perfect.
00:43:29.480And as I say, I'm extremely proud of him for doing that.
00:43:32.780Brian, where do they get you on social media, sir?
00:46:27.500Given the messaging really since day one of this administration on the importance of accelerating AI,
00:46:34.400I was expecting the president to kind of really lean in and make the case to the American people
00:46:39.180as to why the policy agenda that he's pursuing is the right one.
00:46:44.880And then about a week ago, I even heard the vice president on Fox News talking, in my view,
00:46:49.700in my sense, the first time sort of more about the downsides and the tail risks of AI.
00:46:54.340So I don't know if this is like a bit of a sea change for this administration where they've realized that on the campaign trail in the midterms this year,
00:47:01.720it's not great politics to be kind of talking about AI and all these various things that are kind of uncontrolled and unregulated.
00:47:08.500And so I thought it was very notable that the president didn't really lean into AI and instead just basically told the American people that,
00:47:15.560look, we understand that we're going to be building these data centers and we're going to make sure that you,
00:47:20.360the working class, are not going to be the ones that are footing the bill for the tech industry.
00:47:25.020I thought that was a very important message for what it said and for what it didn't say.
00:47:29.300Given the knife fight, and people understand it's a knife fight behind the scenes,
00:47:33.560given the knife fight beyond the scenes of what you and Brendan and all these other people,
00:47:37.920these heroes, Max, Talmar, everybody's working on every day.
