00:00:00.000 this is the primal scream of a dying regime pray for our enemies because we're going to
00:00:10.240 medieval on these people here's not got a free shot all these networks lying about the people
00:00:16.820 the people have had a belly full of it i know you don't like hearing that i know you try to do
00:00:21.000 everything in the world to stop that but you're not going to stop it it's going to happen and
00:00:24.340 Where do people like that go to share the big line?
00:00:27.620 MAGA Media.
00:00:28.960 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:00:34.380 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
00:00:38.160 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
00:00:44.340 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Vann.
00:00:47.760 okay well tuesday 31 march year of our lord 2026 we're through the first quarter of 2026
00:00:58.460 wow and we're in the middle of a war maybe not in the middle of it maybe towards the end of it
00:01:05.040 president trump uh is uh is working towards that we got a lot more we're going to get back to
00:01:09.580 birthright citizenship tomorrow the mass deportation coalition also going to have the
00:01:14.320 airports are now people are flowing through shocking when you pay people and they show up
00:01:18.660 and of course the ice agents deployed have been spectacular we're talking about that todd blanche
00:01:26.300 from the stage at cpac the other day saying that he 100 agrees with the war room that we can and
00:01:32.300 will send um send ice agents to the polls in uh in the fall all that we're going to get to i want
00:01:39.600 me get back to so ben harmore joins me from ben let me do the level set here and then i need you
00:01:46.680 to jump in uh this war we've got uh we've got israel as an ally america's greatest ally
00:01:53.660 we have the gulf nations where president trump's gone over and done you know done these um last
00:02:00.040 spring did this big uh uh meeting over there of all the business opportunities and dubai's the
00:02:05.940 new influencer capital of the world everybody's moving over there and it's all great and you know
00:02:10.580 the islam is all great and it's fantastic and it's a religion of peace etc etc etc and then our
00:02:17.380 then our nato allies so we've been underwriting you know bail them out world war one bail them
00:02:23.320 out in world war two and i mean really bail them out both times bail them out in the cold war
00:02:27.540 rebuilt europe um and then paid for the defense for decade after decade after decade won the cold
00:02:34.520 war with some help from them but not enough some help from them and now i've underwritten this and
00:02:41.700 as president trump you know said hey maybe you should pay two percent in the first term which
00:02:46.820 they committed to after the ukraine situation all they did was was whine and bitch and moan
00:02:51.800 and so now we're in a situation where there's a shooting war and we have 50 000 young american
00:03:00.200 men and women in harm's way. And we've put forward to the Congress a $200 billion butcher's bill for
00:03:10.400 this to be paid for, I guess, by Congress. And we've argued from the beginning, hey, just like
00:03:15.560 in the Gulf War in the early 90s, the Arab nations and maybe Israel passed the hat. We don't care who
00:03:22.200 puts the most in, but if the number's $200 billion, we want the hat to add up to $200 billion.
00:03:27.840 and by the way we want to see where your armies are if we're going to take karg island
00:03:32.260 we want the uae guys those special forces because they've got a really good
00:03:36.900 small army but if punches way above their weight we want to see them on the first wave
00:03:41.860 we want to see the idf in there we want to see the saudi infantry in there um and it looks like
00:03:48.260 we're getting the exact opposite i think the gulf nations put out a proclamation
00:03:51.640 overnight saying they wanted the united states to continue and to finish the job here
00:03:56.680 but no commitment of their of their of their of their of their military president trump did say
00:04:04.040 hey i think we got to look to you guys to pay for this israel came back yesterday and lisa was it
00:04:09.620 was i think the channel the independent channel was a 12 which is normally pretty accurate came
00:04:15.260 back and said officials said we got our hands full in this ground war in lebanon we're not
00:04:20.320 gonna be of any help but thanks for you know thanks for asking but you know no no troops
00:04:25.300 no combat troops no boots on the ground and that's bad enough because that's the region that
00:04:30.700 we're in there remember the number three purpose of this military operation is to make sure that
00:04:36.200 the Iranians can't project power regionally and that would be against Israel and of course against
00:04:42.020 our great Arab allies but the one I think sticks in the crawl the most and looks like it's sticking
00:04:47.260 the crawl of the president the most is the Europeans because the Strait of Hormuz is either
00:04:53.200 it's either going to asia or it's going to europe and the red sea down with the houthis is also as
00:04:58.560 canal is all going up to europe and i think we have the british uh are in the mumble tank nothing
00:05:05.060 happening there france nothing happening there the italians and the spanish the spanish are going
00:05:11.100 out of their way to kind of hurt us not even say they're not going to cooperate but you know you
00:05:15.240 can't use spanish airspace the italians georgia maloney the bridge between president trump
00:05:20.660 in europe has uh has said we're not going to do it and i think even poland said hey look
00:05:25.620 when you talk about our patriots or dads or whatever we're worried about the russians
00:05:30.000 you know we love you guys but we don't know if we're going to be able to do it give me assessment
00:05:34.740 and let's start in europe and you just sent me a story just as you're about to come on about
00:05:40.820 it looks like some of our great allies over there are dumping u.s treasuries which we've
00:05:45.480 the audience that was going to happen and that's why maybe more than ever you got to get the end
00:05:50.720 of the dollar empire because uh for as much as we and this is what for europe starting a hundred
00:05:57.000 years ago to bail these the aristocracy out to bail these feckless nations out in world war ii
00:06:04.180 to fight the cold war to do it all and now that be this whole thing with russia and the ukraine
00:06:09.680 situation of which and by the way if we give a security guarantee and do anything to help these
00:06:15.720 people in ukraine people ought to have their heads examined because i warned you and i told you on
00:06:21.180 this show and ben harnwell told you this is who they are and they're showing you who they are
00:06:25.600 and they want an american security guarantee they want us up at the line of contact ukraine
00:06:29.720 hey put it where the sun don't shine ben harnwell the floor is yours sir well steve that's such a
00:06:37.480 magisterial synthesis i've basically flagged up four or five different articles i was going to
00:06:41.700 bounce off um progressively let's start off with yeah i mean that's basically the situation president
00:06:46.880 trump has sent out invitations to his best mates asking for rsvps and the responses are coming in
00:06:53.620 saying thanks love to but prior engagement so sorry um it's it's been tragic to watch even from
00:07:04.240 my glittering beady cynical eyes let's start off with the ft article um because i think that's
00:07:10.320 that really is quite substantial uh because this shows you what your friends and allies who who
00:07:16.480 who will never say no to schlepping over to the white house for the photo or actually doing
00:07:21.440 behind the scenes so um since february the 25th don't forget the the takeout of the uh of the
00:07:29.260 Ayatollah was on the 28th. So from this, according to the Fed's own data, Steve, since February the
00:07:34.920 25th, nations have sold $82 billion worth of treasuries. Now, it's difficult to pinpoint who
00:07:45.040 exactly has been doing this. So the FT suggests it's Turkey and India. Turkey has sold $22 billion
00:07:52.420 worth of treasuries, but not necessarily exclusively US treasuries, just $22 billion
00:07:58.260 dollars worth of bonds, of central bank holdings. So those are the two figures. And I flag up
00:08:08.360 India and Turkey specifically. Turkey, Prime Minister Modi always very happy to go over to
00:08:15.900 the White House for the photo op, but here protecting his own nation's interest. Erdogan,
00:08:23.820 NATO ally
00:08:25.700 EDEM
00:08:27.340 let's look at either the Spanish
00:08:30.660 and Italian
00:08:32.840 developments because these are interesting
00:08:34.400 different in their
00:08:36.740 responses but just
00:08:38.160 the no is just as firm
00:08:40.920 and just as unyielding
00:08:42.500 so Spain
00:08:44.000 socialist
00:08:45.280 Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez
00:08:48.120 a month or so ago said
00:08:49.960 no you can't use
00:08:52.460 you can't land
00:08:53.320 and flying to the Middle East.
00:08:55.120 You cannot use the two military bases, Rota and Moron.
00:09:00.780 It's actually called Moron.
00:09:02.240 You can't use either.
00:09:03.340 And these are joint Spanish and American bases.
00:09:08.300 And then yesterday, out comes the escalation from that.
00:09:13.080 Now, if an escalation were indeed possible,
00:09:16.420 Spain has closed its airspace to US military flights heading to the Middle East.
00:09:23.320 But Spain's, Italy's development, our dear friend Giorgia Fony Maloney, is, as you would expect, slightly more well-placed.
00:09:35.260 But hang on, but hang on, but hang on, but hang on.
00:09:37.540 Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, hang on, hang on, slow down.
00:09:41.080 It's one thing to say I'm not, even with the British, was it Fairmont?
00:09:45.760 for the british say hey we need six hours because we have 51 muslim members of commons and you know
00:09:52.380 we're we're basically controlled by the muslims now and so we need six hours of optics before
00:09:58.960 we can let you fly or it's one thing you're going to get into maloney and others but to close the
00:10:03.900 airspace and particularly rhoda spain is a major naval uh facility to close to actually close the
00:10:10.440 airspace adds a massive logistics issue to the united states i mean that puts people in harm's
00:10:17.140 way we had this problem and i think it was with france when they closed their airspace during the
00:10:22.200 attack on qaddafi back in those days and we had a couple of f b-111 bombers that are fighter
00:10:28.920 bombers that actually i think went into the drink because they ran out of fuel um back in i think
00:10:35.080 84 uh 85 but um this is a big deal for a government that's supposed to be allied with us
00:10:42.660 that a government that we have supposedly a working relationship to close the airspace in
00:10:48.300 the middle of a shooting war is uh that is telling you we're not your ally and you know we got a
00:10:56.160 problem with what you're doing and we got a problem with how you're doing it so tell me about
00:11:00.300 spain for a second because i think that's we've understood that it's a probably the most socialist
00:11:05.820 and you've got a bunch of people you see all the time these marxists up there that get up there and
00:11:10.120 say yeah we believe in the replacement theory we want to take as many migrants from north africa
00:11:14.780 as possible and replace the population particularly if you're right wing i mean they're up on your
00:11:19.880 grill saying if you're a right winger we would rather have a muslim fighting age male migrant
00:11:25.740 with all the danger that brings from North Africa than have you that are part of Vox or part of some
00:11:31.720 of these other parties, maybe even farther right than Vox. But for the Spanish government to say,
00:11:36.260 and this is, folks, it's the great demasking, the unmasking. I mean, how can Spain sit there
00:11:42.240 and say, we're not going to allow you to use your airspace when we've got a working agreement with
00:11:49.220 them sir well steve you have put your finger on it uh closing your airspace to another country is
00:11:56.480 what you do in military conflict and you close your airspace to those countries either that
00:12:02.300 you're fighting against directly or in the second order sense uh to those countries that are allied
00:12:08.420 to the people that you're fighting so it's one of those two categories that you that you block
00:12:12.940 airspace to um you don't block airspace to your own allies um so that's absolutely right and that
00:12:19.840 point needs to be made the the spanish question is um rather i find it difficult to i mean i get
00:12:28.180 where they're coming from being spain but their argument is basically this is illegal um to use
00:12:33.720 these bases because this isn't um a nato war there's no article five here um the problem is
00:12:40.760 The two bases here, they aren't NATO bases.
00:12:43.680 They are Spanish-American operated bases.
00:12:48.300 So then the NATO dynamic is really a foreign excuse here.
00:12:53.100 Obviously, Spain is a NATO ally, but it's not a formal NATO base.
00:12:56.580 Like, for example, you have a formal NATO base in Naples in Italy, not an operational base.
00:13:02.300 It's a headquarters.
00:13:02.980 The actual, again, American-Italian-run base is the one in Sigonella in Sicily.
00:13:11.740 That's the one that the Italians said no to.
00:13:16.420 While the plane was mid-flight, they said, no, no, you can't land here.
00:13:19.720 You haven't given us the notice to say that you're coming in because we need notice.
00:13:25.100 We need to discuss this in Parliament.
00:13:27.420 This gets back to a debate that a lot of people didn't focus on years ago
00:13:31.120 and saying that, you know, because Road to Spain, these were our bases.
00:13:35.720 And with, I guess, long-term leases.
00:13:37.820 And then we got in this situation.
00:13:39.080 We made them joint bases.
00:13:40.220 We had some agreement with the Spanish government.
00:13:42.060 And now in a shooting war where the United States has young men and women in harm's way
00:13:47.540 and we have the nation's prestige on the line, we're trying to accomplish things.
00:13:50.820 They just sit there and shut it down.
00:13:52.820 I mean, this is a problem, a big problem.
00:13:55.100 I don't know why we're not going back to Spain and say, hey, look, thanks for the memories.
00:13:58.780 But actually, they're our bases.
00:14:00.220 and we're going to do what we want to do.
00:14:02.640 I mean, this is outrageous.
00:14:04.860 And particularly, you have such a radical government.
00:14:06.700 I mean, they're up in your face all the time
00:14:08.960 about the harder elements of that government
00:14:12.120 about a replacement theory.
00:14:16.040 Ben, hang on for one second.
00:14:17.160 We're going to stick here because President Trump
00:14:18.780 has put people on notice that,
00:14:22.300 hey, look, I don't know how long we're going to be here.
00:14:25.020 We've got a punch list of our objectives.
00:14:27.220 And once they're done, we're probably moving on.
00:14:29.140 And, you know, to stop and make sure that we don't have world economic turmoil, somebody's going to have to step up here.
00:14:36.520 And we don't actually have a lot of people that are saying, oh, yeah, I can do that.
00:14:40.700 In fact, they're saying the exact opposite.
00:14:43.480 Birch Gold, there are decades in which nothing happens and weeks in which decades happen.
00:14:49.980 I think this Holy Week is one of those weeks.
00:14:53.580 Make sure you check out Birch Gold and Philip Patrick and the team.
00:14:57.040 More of that when we return.
00:14:59.140 Think about this. In 2006, $20,000 equaled roughly 33 ounces of gold at spot prices.
00:15:10.680 At today's prices, those 33 ounces of gold will be worth $165,000.
00:15:20.440 Smart Americans diversify a portion of their savings into precious metals.
00:15:25.260 And that's why you need to consider buying gold from my friends at Birch Gold Group.
00:15:31.380 For thousands of years, gold has been a store of wealth.
00:15:34.940 And today, it is a crucial part of any balance strategy.
00:15:38.860 Even better, Birch Gold can help you convert an existing IRA or 401k into a tax-sheltered retirement account in gold.
00:15:47.400 Just text my name, Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N, to the number 989898 to receive your free info kit on gold.
00:15:55.260 There's no obligation, just useful information.
00:15:59.280 With an A-plus rating with the Better Business Bureau
00:16:02.400 and tens of thousands of happy customers,
00:16:05.900 let Birch Gold help you diversify with gold.
00:16:09.980 Now that's peace of mind.
00:16:12.240 Text Bannon to 989898.
00:16:14.720 Again, my name, Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N,
00:16:18.180 to the number 989898.
00:16:21.400 Do it today.
00:16:22.040 war room here's your host stephen k van
00:16:25.900 war and the rumor of wars remember what they say that uh i think it's mike tyson's quote
00:16:36.160 everybody's got a strategy in either boxing or in war until you make the first contact with the
00:16:41.100 enemy in fact he says until you get punched in the face the first time then it's all and the
00:16:46.040 same thing with war first contact with the enemy everything changes uh that's why david zier is
00:16:51.640 going to join us in a moment our pentagon correspondent is just doing a great job and
00:16:56.680 that's what takes the professionalism and the planning but particularly just training training
00:17:03.560 training all the time so become second nature and especially when things go wrong that the
00:17:10.460 and remember these young kids you these are 18 19 year old sailors uh the uh the marines uh army
00:17:18.820 the airmen you got these enlisted people that come in the kids are very very young you got
00:17:23.260 non-commissioner officers are not as neil can tell you not that much older then you have an officer
00:17:28.580 corps and the officers start very young in their early 20s um it's just you couldn't be prouder
00:17:34.920 of them because they know how to basically think through a situation and make it second nature and
00:17:39.760 that just comes from practice and drill drill drill so it's second nature especially in times
00:17:45.620 when things don't go right when you're up in general quarters and the tempo this goes back
00:17:49.540 to what we said at the beginning of the show the tempo here is is pretty astounding 30 days into
00:17:56.200 this i think it's 11 or 12 000 sorties they've had or targets with another 3 500 or 4 000 go and
00:18:03.620 they're always coming up pete talked today about dynamic targeting which is what happens when
00:18:08.940 you're actually in the mission you've already got a pre-planned target and a target of opportunity
00:18:13.200 comes up that's dynamic targeting so they're adding things all the time the um one things we
00:18:19.260 try to do here in the war in particular our sponsors is make sure the angst and anxiety
00:18:23.060 and all this uncertainty uh in different elements of your life is taken care of one of the ones
00:18:28.900 we're proudest of is working with this home title lock because look 80 or 90 percent of your net
00:18:34.860 worth is tied up in that home in the rudimentary system we have in this country which is very
00:18:39.800 rudimentary lends itself to bad hombres that want to take advantage of whether that's artificial
00:18:46.200 intelligence with cyber or these bad actors or even as i keep saying rogue lawyers rogue accountants
00:18:51.220 rogue financial advisors rogue friends relatives rogue you know significant others you just don't
00:18:57.540 know and you have to make sure that is impenetrable you've got to make sure you've locked this down
00:19:01.980 because 80 or 90 percent of your net worth is tied up into it and more importantly when something
00:19:07.920 like this happens your entire life change you will just focus on this and the the anxiety will
00:19:13.220 work on you like like acid right until your soul and so that's why it's so important for pennies
00:19:19.580 today to really talk to home title lock and make sure that you have this locked down tom simons
00:19:25.020 is a retired uh field special agent for the fbi and this kind of especially tom what i love is
00:19:31.920 you come on and you uh and you give us examples from real life and i sit there and go this can't
00:19:38.680 this couldn't happen you go no it actually did happen and this is what people have to understand
00:19:43.080 particularly your home there are trillions of dollars of these assets in the united states
00:19:47.980 the home ownership and people particularly bad guys understand this is a very vulnerable system
00:19:53.680 in the state and local authorities not going to do anything make it better you have to take it
00:19:57.480 you have to do it on your own.
00:19:59.040 What do you got for us today, Tom?
00:20:00.800 I got a crazy story for you today.
00:20:02.700 I wouldn't believe it if it wasn't true.
00:20:04.440 At the center of the storm is a realtor named Glenis Cardona
00:20:07.840 who worked with three co-conspirators
00:20:09.840 to steal a $1.5 million house in Burbank, California.
00:20:14.940 Here's how she did it.
00:20:16.060 She orchestrated the sale of this house
00:20:18.160 from an unknowing owner
00:20:20.080 to the stolen identity of an unwitting buyer.
00:20:23.460 And then she arranged for lenders
00:20:25.000 to fund $975,000 of the home sale
00:20:28.540 using forged deeds filed with the county clerk's office.
00:20:32.360 Then the trick was Glenis was also the escrow agent
00:20:35.200 for the transaction.
00:20:36.740 So when the lender sent the money to escrow,
00:20:39.020 it was Glenis and her crew who received the money
00:20:41.540 and split it among themselves.
00:20:43.240 So let's take attendance here.
00:20:44.200 We have a homeowner who never consented
00:20:46.380 to the sale of his house.
00:20:47.960 We have an unwitting home purchaser
00:20:49.600 who is now saddled with almost a million dollars in debt.
00:20:52.740 We have two lenders that aren't getting paid back
00:20:55.320 the money they lent and a title company
00:20:57.540 who unwittingly insured the transfer of the title
00:21:00.220 from seller to buyer.
00:21:02.380 Now, my former colleagues at the FBI
00:21:03.780 put the criminal case together.
00:21:05.220 Three of the fraudsters were busted.
00:21:06.760 The fourth is currently a fugitive.
00:21:08.660 But the problem, as you alluded to in your introduction, Steve,
00:21:11.560 is that a criminal case does not restore home ownership
00:21:14.580 to the rightful owner of this house.
00:21:16.680 That's still a mess.
00:21:18.020 And that person's gonna have to spend a fortune
00:21:19.740 in legal fees to unring this bill
00:21:22.220 unless he has a product like home title lock.
00:21:27.320 I want to reiterate to the audience that this was done.
00:21:30.620 The owner didn't even know any of this stuff was happening.
00:21:33.200 This can happen given the rudimentary system we have for these titles
00:21:36.980 and how busy people are and how people can get in this.
00:21:40.280 And this is an example, a rogue real estate agent working with some bad hombres,
00:21:45.320 not using even artificial intelligence or cyber because that's the big way they're coming.
00:21:49.040 But you've got these rogue people that had these devious minds.
00:21:52.960 They think this up.
00:21:53.920 Next thing you know, you're out of a home and they're looking to you to pay back the loan and your whole life from that from that period forward.
00:22:02.620 Nothing.
00:22:03.500 Your family, your friends, your hobbies, war room, everything that you did is just a second.
00:22:10.740 You came and focused on it because you're sitting there looking at financial ruin.
00:22:13.980 You had a secure, fairly secure life with this was your nest egg, right?
00:22:20.840 Because most people's home is really their retirement, the home equity in it.
00:22:25.140 And in one fell swoop, it's gone.
00:22:27.440 That's what's so scary about this, Tom.
00:22:30.000 Exactly.
00:22:30.780 And, you know, had this homeowner had home title lock, he would have had home title lock
00:22:34.720 monitoring the status of his home title, notifying him if any monkey business was going on.
00:22:40.760 And then they have a U.S.-based restoration team that's going to spend a million bucks
00:22:44.180 restoring that home back into you at no out-of-pocket cost to the homeowner.
00:22:49.340 It's a no-brainer.
00:22:50.320 I subscribe, and I sleep better at night because I do.
00:22:56.000 HometideLock.com, promo code STEVE.
00:22:58.340 Right now, you get a two-week – you talk to Natalie Dominguez and the team.
00:23:02.000 You go there, you get a two-week free trial on the $1 million triple lock protection,
00:23:05.780 including what they'll put up in legal to solve this.
00:23:08.820 And it's just pennies a day.
00:23:09.860 That's why, you know, don't take it from Tom, don't take it from me, just go talk to Natalie Dominguez and the team, get the information. I think you'll see how this, it's the cost-benefit analysis is just, it so overwhelms you for the benefit of it, particularly now when you've got AI, cyber, and you've got rogue lawyers, accountants, and even a real estate broker.
00:23:32.100 I mean, she was a very, she, having been in the real estate business, knew how easy this was to do. Correct, Tom?
00:23:39.860 Yeah, she knew exactly what strings to pull because she had experience in the industry, and it was sort of the perfect storm.
00:23:49.100 Tom, thank you so much.
00:23:50.640 Another harrowing example.
00:23:54.380 Tom, thank you.
00:23:55.020 And like Tom said, remember, with the FBI and guys coming in for the criminal side, that doesn't do anything at all on the civil.
00:24:01.000 It doesn't do anything at all on you getting your money back or your house back.
00:24:04.080 So don't let it happen.
00:24:05.580 And this is HomeTitleLock.com, promo code Steve.
00:24:07.800 It's so simple.
00:24:09.860 uh zeer's with us but i want to play zeer's cold open at the bottom i want to go back to ben
00:24:14.320 harnwell ben georgia maloney and i've been people have been have been already been lighting me up
00:24:20.620 in italy that know me saying he they he doesn't understand why president trump hasn't come out
00:24:25.280 and given her special attention like he gave the french and he's given he's given the british
00:24:30.280 she's the bridge she's the self-proclaimed bridge between president trump in europe
00:24:35.840 we've always dismissed that as nonsense and uh why is she not jumping in here being a full ally
00:24:43.200 to the united states of america sir well you know whenever she does describe herself as being a
00:24:49.300 bridge between the united states and the open union immediately it always comes to my mind
00:24:54.240 the the tacoma narrows bridge folks if you ever remember that undulating bridge that eventually
00:24:59.800 is the second largest suspension bridge ever built in the world which collapsed um within a
00:25:05.020 couple of weeks after opening and that is the bridge to nowhere which is georgia maloney
00:25:09.420 so um she said no um formally it was via the defense minister on the basis that um italy hadn't
00:25:19.320 been consulted before the flights we're talking more than one u.s bomber here um before they took
00:25:25.600 off and therefore italy said no and italy cited its its treaties with the united states and in as
00:25:32.740 far as it goes there is a you know i have no time for this government or its prime minister um but
00:25:40.660 there is a legitimate question to be asked as you know considering this the same thing happened
00:25:45.220 with regards to to spain on the same excuses why the department for for war hadn't put in the phone
00:25:53.000 calls the u.s department for hadn't put in those necessary phone calls beforehand that is a
00:25:57.640 legitimate question to ask but beyond that because it is simply a procedural excuse on italy's part
00:26:04.480 and you can you can guess that it was simply a procedural excuse um masking a political refusal
00:26:11.560 for the time being by the fact that we know about this because in the spanish situation the the
00:26:17.600 government was very gung-ho in telling all and sundry that they'd said no that they'd blocked
00:26:22.540 the airspace to the united states this with regards to the italian situation steve this
00:26:27.500 actually happened by all accounts last week it's only come out into the press now and it first came
00:26:33.760 out to the italian press to carriere della sera um through one of their sources presumed to be
00:26:40.800 though it's not said explicitly on the italian side rather than the u.s side and that steve i
00:26:46.340 think is the indication that this leaked out to the press um is the indication that the government
00:26:51.760 really wants the italian people to know that they have said no and that's because there are there is
00:26:58.080 a lot of antipathy here in italy towards the um the u.s maneuvers in iran specifically um but it's
00:27:07.220 still i think worth taking note of ben uh i want the answer when we get back and we're going to
00:27:14.100 bring zero into this conversation too the president's laid it out today he's saying look
00:27:18.380 we defanged these guys we've declawed them have essentially destroyed the um their operating
00:27:26.080 military they can still do scattershot we've broken them he said twice i think today we've
00:27:32.040 had regime change because now i'm dealing with a third or fourth tier guy it's time now for
00:27:37.860 somebody to pick up the slack and he's looking for he's looking for nato looking for the royal navy
00:27:42.160 the french navy the italian navy and air force to step in here is this practical we're going to
00:27:48.740 because i gotta tell you when president trump gets an idea like this he normally acts upon it
00:27:53.120 ben stick around david zier is going to be with us as the president has looked like he's focused

00:30:04.820 don't let the irs be the first to act take advantage of first mover advantage you move
00:30:12.900 real america's voice um and i i witnessed that enthusiasm on the lines and our submarine
00:30:19.520 builders and ironworks it's unbelievable um but i just wanted to ask you what's the status
00:30:25.040 of the delivery of any hardened bunkers
00:30:28.400 for additional protection for our troops?
00:30:30.820 And without getting too specific,
00:30:32.740 what kind of measures are we taking
00:30:34.160 to protect some of the larger, more strategic aircraft
00:30:36.660 like the sentry and other?
00:30:39.920 Well, it's a great question.
00:30:41.120 I'll say what I witnessed where I went
00:30:43.880 was a completely locked-in discipline
00:30:48.100 of bunker use and bunker improvement.
00:30:52.280 So from the beginning, as we stated very clearly,
00:30:54.660 the first thing we did was set up a defense and make sure our defensive capabilities were maxed
00:30:59.080 out before any of this even started. That included fortifications as much as possible. But it also
00:31:04.120 included disbursement. If all of our people are in one place, you could imagine why that's a big
00:31:09.380 problem. So dispersing is part of that defeat. Alongside that, disbursement is more and more
00:31:15.340 bunkers. And I can tell you, talking to base commanders, talking to our allies in Israel,
00:31:19.540 talking to others, rapidly fielding that and then improving those positions is a theater
00:31:24.120 priority, no doubt, as are the air defenses and the layered air defenses. It's not just patriots
00:31:29.580 and THADs. It's fighters and defensive caps. It's other kinetic defeat systems. It's electronic
00:31:34.520 warfare. So the defense of our troops and our assets is max. I will say on some of those other
00:31:41.260 assets you talked about, air wings, airframes, there's some things adversaries are doing to
00:31:46.560 provide info and intel that they shouldn't. We're aware of it. And ultimately, we move things around
00:31:52.220 One of the biggest principles you learn in the military is to not set patterns, predictable patterns.
00:32:00.060 And so commanders are working hard to adjust in real time with those systems
00:32:04.220 and make sure they're in the right places and not easily targetable.
00:32:08.620 You don't want pattern recognition here.
00:32:12.000 Be specific, David.
00:32:14.120 Why did you ask that question about bunkers?
00:32:16.400 What was on your mind about this?
00:32:19.280 I was reminded about Iraq, right, when Rumsfeld said, you go to war with the army
00:32:27.120 you have, not with the one you wish you had.
00:32:30.460 And I was remembering the soldiers, you know, welding steel plates to the sides of the Hummers.
00:32:36.520 Now, they didn't have the advanced IEDs at that point, you know, the liquid metal forming
00:32:40.880 stuff that just cut our columns in half.
00:32:44.040 But I'm concerned, you know, covering the dignified transfer for RAV, you know, I'm
00:32:50.640 concerned about more lives being lost because these guys only have to get it right a couple
00:32:54.360 of times and they can do major damage.
00:32:56.580 And I just thought it was really important when I saw the articles coming out that they
00:33:00.180 were trying to streamline deployment and delivery of hardened structures over there.
00:33:06.640 You know, I hope he can do it fast.
00:33:08.320 And especially with this AWACS devastation, a half-a-billion-dollar aircraft, we lose one more.
00:33:15.780 We're in trouble in the global fight, right, maybe.
00:33:19.040 So these questions are all based on what are we going to do to protect our troops.
00:33:25.540 Also, I asked him last week about what are we going to do to turn the Internet back on for the people,
00:33:30.640 and how do we do that as they try to shut down all these VPNs in the Iranian militias and stuff.
00:33:35.480 So, you know, what's one of the reasons you haven't? Yeah. Yeah. But are you concerned that are you concerned that they're very noticeably not giving a level of specificity, even when Emerald Cooper comes on about just even some of the math about this?
00:33:56.340 right it you know because we talk about uptempo we talk about the bombing every night um they're
00:34:02.600 asserting this but so far they've been very remiss to get into details and i realize you
00:34:08.500 got operational security you don't want to tell the enemy what you're doing but a little bit we're
00:34:13.460 all kind of in we're all kind of in the fog of war here and a little a little bit of an abyss
00:34:18.680 because you know they still there's still the scattershot of the uh of the iranians we understand
00:34:25.360 And they've dispersed their command and control, I think, as Eric Prince continues to tell us, to like 31 different units.
00:34:31.860 But do you get a sense that the Pentagon has a strategy here, kind of a media strategy or a briefing strategy to make sure the American people are fully apprised so that they can think through and make sure they support or not support President Trump's strategy?
00:34:48.960 I think they've been careful not to discuss policy, right?
00:34:52.960 And they are taking these measures. Hegseth was with the troops in Central Command a few days ago over there, right?
00:35:00.260 So I believe that—I believe they're in a spot because, you know, again, it only takes a dozen drones to hit a target from ground zero and hurt a lot of people or take out—
00:35:17.960 You know, listen, in the Red Sea, a missile came within a half a mile of the Harry S. Truman,
00:35:22.660 and if it wasn't for the Sea Whiz, I think, it could have hit it. So, you know, these threats
00:35:27.580 are real and imminent, and no matter how much planning you do, I think they do have a plan.
00:35:32.020 I think they really care. I think Hegseth really cares about the troops. But there's a lot of
00:35:36.960 unpredictables here. And we spoke last summer, Stephen, at the Army 250 celebration, and we
00:35:42.000 talked about during the June strikes, you know, about a wider war with the Gulf states and other
00:35:47.940 and the regional, you know, geostrategic elements going on here. So there are unpredictable elements
00:35:54.540 here as nothing's really fermenting on the ground. The MEK is attacking the Iranian Guard and other
00:36:01.780 things a little bit, but there's nothing gelling with Pahlavi or anything. So, you know, where does
00:36:07.360 it leave the people? Where does it leave our troops for the long term? How many additional
00:36:12.240 casualties will we have? I think it's a legitimate concern. About the Gulf Arab, the Arab allies,
00:36:21.460 and as we got bent up here, the NATO allies, President Trump has clearly now over the last
00:36:26.560 24 hours, maybe 30 hours, has been pretty adamant that he needs people stepping up to the plate,
00:36:32.060 that we're going to only bear this burden by ourselves for so long. What's the sense you got
00:36:36.820 from the building uh because these are the direct connect it's not a diplomatic a lot of it's
00:36:41.940 military to military and i know they're very close relationships particularly with the gulf
00:36:46.620 armies specifically uae very close relationship with the pentagon do you get any sense
00:36:52.320 that hegseth and general kane are making any uh progress on this or is this still all at the
00:36:58.960 white house level and diplomatic well i think it is that and it's also i think uae agreed to
00:37:06.220 jump in the fight to protect the ships in the strait. I think other nations will come on board.
00:37:10.540 I think Saudi Arabia will as well. But Europe is always there when they need us. So I think there
00:37:18.880 will be some success for Donald Trump in putting together a coalition to target this. But how many
00:37:25.460 weeks out? Will the oil hit $150 plus? There's a lot of questions here. But I don't think they're
00:37:32.040 operating in the dark. I think, you know, I wouldn't underestimate Trump. I do think he's
00:37:38.600 in a little bit of a position because, you know, Iran's four times the size of Iraq. You know,
00:37:43.620 how do you do that? My grandfather told me 48 years ago, he used to make altimeters for the
00:37:47.580 bombs. And he always told me, hey, you can bomb the snot out of a country, but unless you've got
00:37:51.700 ground forces, you can't change it. You know, so, you know, again, what level of success is enough
00:37:57.960 for Trump and what nations will come on board to help.
00:38:01.300 You have 11 million barrels a day of oil missing from, you know, the world's supply right now.
00:38:07.140 All these tanks, all these storage things are at capacity over there in the Gulf states,
00:38:12.400 and there's nowhere to go.
00:38:15.000 So I'm not going to throw in the towel, though.
00:38:18.280 I think Hegseth, you know, he's under fire.
00:38:21.240 They're looking to hang him at every turn.
00:38:22.960 I was at the county cartel conference in Doral with the SouthCom a couple of weeks ago, and
00:38:27.640 He signs his historic agreement with 17 defense ministers of the 31 countries under the AOR
00:38:32.840 for Central Command from South America, Caribbean, and Latin America.
00:38:36.840 And they're talking about how he gave a Nazi salute in the Shields of America speech.
00:38:41.580 You know, so anything he does is going to be ripped apart.
00:38:44.180 I think he's very careful on not to commit too much and doesn't want to get into, you
00:38:50.800 know, too granular on stuff at the briefings.
00:38:53.440 They're short.
00:38:54.660 He picks 15 questions or so.
00:38:56.440 So I'm trying to be respectful, but my concern is for the troops.
00:39:02.440 David, where do people go? What's your social media?
00:39:04.820 Keep up with you throughout the day.
00:39:07.520 Sure. I'm at Dave Zier on X and David Zier on everything else.
00:39:15.180 Zier, great job. Thank you, sir. Appreciate you over the Pentagon.
00:39:18.680 Thank you so much, Steve.
00:39:20.100 Ben Harnwell.
00:39:21.120 uh the president's looking to at least get an alternative it's optionality with the president
00:39:26.680 range of alternatives there's clearly he's thinking through hey i've got options of if i
00:39:31.860 got to put combat troops in if i got to keep bombing these guys if i need another regime
00:39:36.760 change besides the guys i i'm talking to but one he's clearly looking to do is have the allies step
00:39:42.900 up here and bear some of the burden uh from your perch in rome uh david zero is pretty optimistic
00:39:49.900 that eventually europe will do the right thing uh in your bdi assessment do you see that happening
00:39:55.880 um it might happen on a sort of bilateral basis with the u.s tapping certain countries like the
00:40:05.700 uk or have you or greece for example um who has been quite cooperative whether it's going to take
00:40:11.800 place formally through the nato infrastructure at the present moment i did i'd find that slightly
00:40:17.320 more doubtful that the that the elements are there to do that um i frankly find it difficult
00:40:23.080 that he's that the president's going to succeed in getting any sort of bilateral agreements
00:40:27.680 country by country to come on board on this um because if the if it's true that the president
00:40:33.080 is looking for an off-ramp here for here in continental europe that they're um they're not
00:40:39.600 looking for an off-ramp because they never got on the on-ramp in the first place and they're
00:40:43.920 sort of extremely concerned that they don't want to be moving in that direction largely because the
00:40:49.100 on-ramp isn't isn't a static thing it's dynamic it's like a conveyor belt you need to get on
00:40:54.520 and do nothing and you're going to be moved further on into this and that's really not where
00:40:59.080 the the european countries are the reason being as i've indicated before yeah yeah it's because
00:41:05.600 because the um well whatever you say about uh the european branch of our sociopathic overlords
00:41:12.880 They know how unpopular they are, broadly because of the immigration issue anyway. You've got the far-right iteration sort of nipping at their heels. They realize that getting their countries involved in a third Gulf War in as many decades is politically suicidal. They don't want any – they don't want to keep the – they don't want anything to do with this. They don't even want to be tapped in to keep administrative homes open.
00:41:40.860 yeah but but but i got it but brent oil is 118 a barrel right now it's going to go higher if they
00:41:47.720 don't see if president trump says hey look it's your problem you got to step up here also this
00:41:52.760 has to has major implications for the ukraine situation p the citizens of the united states
00:41:58.300 are seeing what's happening here they're seeing the president he it shouldn't be the president's
00:42:04.040 responsibility to get allies to come on an on-ramp particularly let me just make sure
00:42:09.100 disestated is that coming out of hormuz is oil and natural gas lng going to europe going past the
00:42:18.900 houthis in the gate of tears down there into the red sea and suez is a hundred percent going to
00:42:24.140 europe you got carrier battle groups right now with american kids keeping those open this is a
00:42:29.140 european problem this is a european issue and that's why you shouldn't have to take a bayonet
00:42:35.220 and get them onto an on-ramp.
00:42:36.640 They should be there as an ally to be an on-ramp.
00:42:39.720 That's not happening.
00:42:40.680 The resistance, this is my point.
00:42:42.020 President Trump, he's lighting these guys up now,
00:42:44.400 true social, because not only are they not getting
00:42:47.760 on the on-ramp, people like Spain are saying,
00:42:49.800 hey, upon further review, we got these joint bases,
00:42:52.160 really not NATO, it's us and you,
00:42:53.500 and we got the superior hand.
00:42:55.300 We're not going to let you use the naval facility
00:42:57.780 or the naval air base at Road to Spain.
00:43:00.260 That's off, and you can't use our airspace.
00:43:02.380 that's not just not being an that's not being an ally or having allies got problems that's being
00:43:08.040 somebody that's saying no you can't use our airspace we think you're the problem and we
00:43:12.080 don't agree with your military the the oil that that europe used 118 dollars a barrel and it's
00:43:18.340 going to go a lot higher president trump says you know upon further review we're going to pull back
00:43:23.000 i tell you ben hang on i want to take you to the next segment because the president has now talked
00:43:29.040 about this for 30 hours you can tell this is i'm not saying he's going to pull this option
00:43:33.440 but he's clearly thinking through every alternative regarding this option both the arab allies with
00:43:40.420 israel and particularly with nato and let's throw japan maybe even the korean navy in there
00:43:46.260 ccp i'm sure a volunteer uh patriot mobile one of the great sponsors great company jenny uh story
00:43:54.120 what she's doing down there to organize the grassroots particularly around this situation

00:45:45.740 Here's your host, Stephen K. Mann.
00:45:50.340 Okay, the Kobasi letter is one of these better newsletters up on, it's on Twitter,
00:45:56.200 but very well known on wall street breaking iran's revolutionary guard issues a warning that
00:46:01.820 they will target 18 united states technology companies if the u.s continues targeted
00:46:07.880 assassinations of iranians leaders beginning on april 1st that would be tomorrow the companies
00:46:13.920 include nvidia apple microsoft google tesla intel oracle ibm meta boeing and others clearly the
00:46:22.360 the taking down of the regime leaders is having an impact so they're issuing a warning right now

00:47:26.380 so take advantage of it. Ben Harnwell, look, Ben, you're amazingly popular with the Warren. We
00:47:32.140 understand you've had some very tough analysis and assessments over the last couple of weeks,
00:47:37.180 but you're giving it to us straight, and you've had just an amazing track record. You've got a
00:47:41.980 couple minutes to sum up here, your thoughts, because clearly President Trump, whether he does
00:47:46.300 it or not, whether it's a negotiating tactic, he's going to double down someplace else, or he's going
00:47:50.240 to put combat troops in the karg island he is developing at least this line of optionality
00:47:56.180 and that is to basically flush out who's going to step up here and share the burden with the
00:48:01.320 united states your thoughts sir well no one's particularly stepping up at the moment president
00:48:06.660 trump is calling a party saying the party's on but at the moment there's there's no the music
00:48:12.000 might be playing but no no one wants to go to this party um apart from as you mentioned um earlier on
00:48:18.720 your Gulf allies, and this is what I put out on Geta this morning,
00:48:24.800 you do have, and this is what Semaphore carried,
00:48:28.200 that officials from Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE
00:48:33.800 have told their US counterparts that they want the conflict to continue
00:48:38.560 until Tehran changes its behaviour,
00:48:41.300 but as of yet have offered no boots on the ground to send in.
00:48:46.120 And as you've been highlighting consistently, Steve,
00:48:47.980 Look, I'll quickly close with this point, this observation, because you mentioned it just before the break and you said it's a very important consideration. How much is this war affecting what's going on in Ukraine? And yes, President Zelensky has been, bless his little cotton socks, has been trying desperately to insert himself into this narrative as well and largely failing, but he is doing what he can do.
00:49:13.260 But I'd like to reframe your question, Steve, because I don't think it's so much that the fact isn't so much how much is this war affecting what's going on in Ukraine.
00:49:23.700 It's how much has what happened in Ukraine over the last three or four years affecting the operability for the Gulf War.
00:49:33.120 And this brings us to the Patriot battery situation, which Poland has refused to help.
00:49:38.600 And that is, if America asks which country now, which of our allies, has patriot surplus to send to us in Iran, in the Strait of Hormuz or wherever, to help defend Israel,
00:50:02.440 As is, no one has excess capacity anymore because it's all been used up in Ukraine.
00:50:09.020 And that, I think, is a further illustration of the rule, the law of unintended consequences,
00:50:16.460 which continue to reach forward to the present day of what happened in February 2022.
00:50:26.480 Ben Harnwell, where do people go to get your beady-eyed analysis, sir?

00:53:44.360 I've got a question for you.
00:53:45.680 How do you usually get your medication?
00:53:47.880 Let me guess.
00:53:48.500 You call the doctor, wait for an appointment to get a prescription, sit in a waiting room.
00:53:52.720 Then you stand around in line at the pharmacy hoping they actually have what you need.
00:53:57.680 That's not convenient.
00:53:59.260 That's a system that doesn't work.
00:54:01.980 There's a better way.
00:54:02.800 And that way is where all family pharmacy comes in.
00:54:06.780 They take the hassle out of the process.
00:54:08.940 You go online, select what you're looking for, complete a short medical form, and a licensed physician reviews your request.
00:54:16.640 If it's appropriate, they write the prescription, and your medication is shipped straight to your home.
