00:00:00.000 is your sense? I've sailed the Strait of Hormuz close to 100 times as a sea captain
00:00:08.360 and I have participated in several blockades around the world. My conclusion is blockades
00:00:15.420 are inherently very difficult to maintain. This is a thousand miles plus of coastline
00:00:22.420 that we're blockading. It's an act of war, by the way, and there's always going to be
00:00:27.560 leakage. Think the movie Gone with the Wind, Rhett Butler showing up with beautiful cigars
00:00:33.560 and silk scarves from Paris through the Lincoln blockade of the American South. Having said all
00:00:40.260 that, I agree with my good friend Anne Marie. Congratulations on the LSC, by the way. And I
00:00:46.740 would simply add, I think in the White House, they are now starting to look at additional
00:00:52.340 military options, because this tale of two blockades is going to be difficult to sustain.
00:00:58.840 So to conclude, Fareed, I think the president's looking at probably a package of three different
00:01:05.200 military options. One, go after more leadership, try and take out some of the intransigent members,
00:01:11.640 the Revolutionary Guard. Number two, perhaps go after the oil infrastructure, quite risky,
00:01:17.420 could lead to retaliation? And third, let's call it strategic preparation of the Strait of Hormuz
00:01:24.760 in case you have to open it militarily, which may be the next move on the chessboard.
00:01:30.780 Totally out of hope. I think you could see a president, Republican or Democrat, in 2029
00:01:36.260 pick up the pieces, just given that we have so many more friends. But look, I think China is
00:01:41.560 going to come out of this crisis a big winner, because all these other countries in the world,
00:01:45.140 Even our allies are going to embrace clean energy technologies, batteries, solar, EVs.
00:01:48.960 Which they're much ahead of.
00:01:50.000 Which they're making.
00:01:51.260 It's not just that they've invested in them, and so they've shielded themselves to a large extent from this oil shock.
00:01:57.200 They also had huge stockpiles of oil, but they also made huge investments in renewables precisely because they wanted that energy resilience.
00:02:05.400 They didn't want to be at the mercy of global oil markets.
00:02:09.020 And they're making all of these technologies, and then they're going to sell them to the rest of the world.
00:02:13.260 That's right. And as our allies embrace them, no matter who the president is in 2029, they're going to be a lot more dependent on China.
00:02:21.660 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
00:02:26.560 Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
00:02:31.780 I got a free shot. All these networks lying about the people. The people have had a belly full of it.
00:02:37.920 I know you don't like hearing that. I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
00:02:42.000 It's going to happen.
00:02:43.260 And where do people like that go to share the big line?
00:02:46.740 MAGA Media.
00:02:48.080 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:02:53.500 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
00:02:57.280 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
00:03:03.460 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Vann.
00:03:06.880 okay let's uh it's monday 4 may year earlier 2026 let's now turn to the war axios's lead story
00:03:19.100 i think i sent that in if we can get that um this is about president trump wants some action
00:03:24.900 obviously um president trump is quite frustrated um and it says this in the axios piece today and
00:03:33.640 hey, the White House deems to use Axios as kind of their platform for leaking information
00:03:43.060 because none of these stories are ever denied.
00:03:46.200 It sounded like a very frustrated President Trump over the weekend
00:03:49.320 with his national security advisors on trying to force the action in the Persian Gulf.
00:03:58.720 One of the reasons we're going to try to have Jim Rickards on later in the week,
00:04:01.460 In the interim, you can get, always make sure you go to RickardsWarRoom.com.
00:04:07.400 We do a special on his strategic intelligence newsletter.
00:04:11.340 If you haven't gotten it, you haven't read it, you ought to take a shot at it.
00:04:15.220 CEO's chairman throughout the world, read it.
00:04:18.260 Jim's one of the best geopolitical and capital markets thinkers, plus he's got a background in intelligence.
00:04:24.420 This is why he's been around forever.
00:04:26.180 Very wise and smart man.
00:04:27.800 Rickardswarroom.com, that's the landing page.
00:04:34.320 You get strategic intelligence based upon predictive analytics.
00:04:37.860 He also throws in a free book, Money GPT, about fiat currency and gold.
00:04:43.260 Haven't heard that before.
00:04:44.880 Chapter 4 also walks you through a nightmare scenario
00:04:48.080 for artificial intelligence being in the command structure
00:04:52.820 with no humans on weapons capabilities,
00:04:56.860 particularly nuclear weapons. 0.76
00:04:58.280 That one will keep you up at night as it should.
00:05:01.140 That artificial intelligence, go check that out.
00:05:04.380 I've asked Captain Fennell to be here.
00:05:07.840 So Captain Fennell, coming out of the national security
00:05:10.540 over the weekend, President Trump is like,
00:05:16.280 I want some action.
00:05:17.640 I want to figure out how to do this.
00:05:19.160 I want to force people's hands here.
00:05:21.680 I've got a blockade, but they still have Hormuz.
00:05:25.380 And it was a little uncertain what this announcement is.
00:05:29.760 We're now going to escort ships of these innocent nations that have vessels there,
00:05:36.720 because as Boling will tell you, I think the average was 130.
00:05:41.240 There's still just four or five ships going through when you look at the official calculators.
00:05:46.000 So tell us, in fact, what do you think this national security meeting was about?
00:05:51.280 what were the alternatives Admiral Cooper gave the president, and the president's looking for
00:05:56.560 something to force the action. And finally, the mainstream media is waking up to the fact
00:06:01.240 that this is all inextricably linked to the Chinese Communist Party. Of course,
00:06:06.340 they've got the pom-poms out for the CCP. The CCP leadership is so brilliant and so far ahead of
00:06:12.020 the Americans and are thinking of sustainability. I noticed, Captain Fennell, they fail to mention
00:06:18.020 that the CCP, I think, opens a cold fire plant with no clean technology once a month to power
00:06:27.320 the power of the Chinese economy. Sir. Well, Steve, I think we need to first start
00:06:35.560 off with just an acknowledgement that since President Trump announced on Sunday
00:06:40.480 Operation Project Freedom, which was clearly the result, I believe, of the briefings that
00:06:46.700 Admiral Cooper and the Secretary of War gave to the President late last week on options that the
00:06:52.840 President decided to say, yeah, based on the evidence and the facts that we have, let's go
00:06:58.100 ahead and open this up. And so CENTCOM announced that they were going to start Project Freedom.
00:07:03.860 They said, we have numbers of DDGs. We have 100-plus land-based, sea-based aircraft. We have
00:07:10.900 multi-domain unmanned platforms. And now in this, today, they said it would start this morning out
00:07:18.160 in the Middle East. And we already have, just in the last hour from CENTCOM, a report that
00:07:23.820 destroyers, U.S. Navy Arleigh Burke guided missile destroyers, have transited the Strait of Hormuz,
00:07:31.020 are operating in the Arabian Gulf, and have already, U.S. forces, already escorted out and
00:07:38.400 gotten two of the, I think, five U.S. flag merchant ships that have been stuck in the Gulf
00:07:43.820 since this crisis started. They are now transited. Those merchant vessels have transited the Strait
00:07:49.320 of Hormuz and are out. So we have successfully demonstrated that the myth of this Iranian 1.00
00:07:56.040 control of the Strait is not a fallacy. Hang on, slow down. I think the Iranians also said 0.93
00:08:01.880 that um the uh that they fired there's some report they fired on a couple of these i want to go back 0.53
00:08:08.820 just hit rewind and of course yeah just keep the just keep the nomenclature right and i realize
00:08:14.460 politically they want to say arabian gulf but i think historically it's been called the persian
00:08:19.060 gulf so in the persian gulf we now have how many uh how many destroyers have transit the strait of
00:08:26.280 Hormuzin are operating in the Persian Gulf? The CENTCOM report noted that there were destroyers.
00:08:32.480 They didn't say two. So you'll see in the press two, but that doesn't mean there are two. So they
00:08:37.600 listed multiple. So we can assume at least two, maybe more. And they have escorted out or assisted
00:08:43.440 the removal of two U.S. flag merchant ships out of the Gulf, which they claimed and they noted as
00:08:49.960 the Arabian Gulf. And I use that term purposely because that's the nomenclature that the U.S.
00:08:55.040 government is using today, and they got them out of the Strait of Hormuz. And what this means is,
00:09:00.980 and they also sent out what they call an NCAG's advisory, which is the Naval Cooperation and
00:09:06.300 Guide for Shipping announcement that came out from NAVCENT earlier this morning or late last
00:09:11.760 night and said, the U.S. has established an enhanced security area to support the Strait
00:09:17.580 of Hormuz transit south of the traffic separation scheme. So the old traffic separation scheme that
00:09:23.660 you knew and I knew that went through the center of the Strait of Hormuz, the United States has
00:09:27.920 said, we've established a new one. It's south of that. It's closer to Oman, and Oman will assist
00:09:33.720 you getting out on VHF Channel 16, and we're going to start seeing ships come out. And there
00:09:41.280 are somewhere around, some estimates say 2,000, but probably around 800 to 900 vessels that have
00:09:47.860 been stuck in the Gulf throughout this crisis. And when all those ships start making the rush
00:09:54.320 towards the door, it's going to demonstrate to the world that we have been hoodwinked by the 1.00
00:10:01.060 Iranians. There are no mines there. And Admiral Cooper and the Secretary of War wouldn't have 1.00
00:10:06.460 gone to the president and said, let's do this if they thought there were mines there. Now we have,
00:10:11.120 again, some number of U.S. Navy warships have gone through the strait, through this news lane,
00:10:17.860 Haven't been hit. Two commercial flagged U.S. merchants have gone out, at least. There may be
00:10:24.100 more since I've been talking to you. And I think what we're going to see is that the ineptitude
00:10:28.640 and the impotence of the Iranians is going to be put on display. Now, there are reports even 1.00
00:10:33.200 I've seen in the last hour that maybe the Iranians are going to attack the UAE. We'll see what
00:10:38.560 happens. But in terms of the strait, once that rush starts, it's going to demonstrate that these
00:10:44.040 ships can get out. And I think that'll break the logjam, and it'll change the dynamic.
00:10:51.080 This is the direct challenge to, if they control it from the cliffs and from the landward side
00:10:58.820 in Persia, if that group of pirates there actually control things or not, because this
00:11:05.340 will force the action. If the United States Navy and these destroyers are able to escort
00:11:09.400 or to open that sea lane that's closer to Oman, right?
00:11:14.620 That's a direct challenge to these pirates who right now have been charging, what, a
00:11:18.140 million or $2 million a vessel, correct?
00:11:22.160 Right. 1.00
00:11:22.820 I mean, the Iranians may have had hoodwink people to go through their new lane that they 0.99
00:11:28.180 put between Keshem and Larik Island, which was within almost 12 nautical miles of the 0.95
00:11:32.620 Iranian coast.
00:11:33.700 Well, that may be fine. 0.99
00:11:35.140 But now it's on the other side, 21 miles away, and the Iranians are going to have a hard time sending mosquito fast boats down there or drones without them being blown out of the water. 0.93
00:11:46.560 So the only outstanding issue is anti-ship cruise missiles, if there are any left, and they will be shooting into the blind because they don't have any surface-to-search radars to be able to guide those missiles. 0.91
00:11:59.800 So I think at this point, the Iranians are going to be broken on this issue. 0.96
00:12:03.520 So now we need to look for where are they going to break, where are they going to apply pressure in a different domain or a different area geographically? 1.00
00:12:11.120 Yeah, keep that map up, Denver. Thank you very much for bringing that up.
00:12:15.440 Let's get Eric Bolling in here.
00:12:16.960 Eric, talk to us about what was the response over the weekend for the oil markets and then after this announcement and now the implementation of the president's selecting this strategy from Admiral Cooper and the team at CENTCOM, sir.
00:12:34.580 A lot, very quiet over the weekend, in fact, going into last night when the oil market started to trade again, 6 p.m. Eastern, almost unchanged on the day, which is unheard of given the amount of attention and, you know, in two directional possibilities going on right now.
00:12:50.620 This morning we woke up, oil was 5% higher.
00:12:54.000 It was $105, $106 a barrel WTI.
00:12:57.620 Brent moved to the July contract, so it was $112, which translated to a June contract.
00:13:03.520 The WTI version would be about $117, $118.
00:13:06.920 Again, a $12 differential between the West Texas Intermediate and the Brent.
00:13:10.920 I will tell you that here's one of the biggest problems we see right now, Steve.
00:13:15.140 I would like to get to what the captain was addressing.
00:13:18.260 But right now we have a $4.40, almost 46 cents per gallon pump price across the country, national average.
00:13:25.940 That's $1.30 higher than a year ago.
00:13:28.520 Diesel is the big problem, $5.81 right now, $2.10 higher than a year ago.
00:13:33.520 We're approaching all-time highs in both gasoline and diesel on a national average basis.
00:13:39.740 We're only 50 cents away in gasoline and 20 cents away in diesel.
00:13:43.260 That's a huge drag on the economy.
00:13:45.880 The UAE is now out of OPEC, allegedly, we'll believe when we see it, but the rest of the members of OPEC pledged 188,000 barrels now a day, which is increasing in production, which seems like a lot until you do the math on it.
00:14:00.660 That comes to about 167 seconds of global use of oil.
00:14:05.540 So what they did is purely just house dressing, you know, just putting lipstick on the pig, so to speak.
00:14:13.420 Hang on one second. 0.72
00:14:15.340 Hang on one second.
00:14:15.920 We'll come back and get all of it.
00:14:18.020 Remember, America runs on diesel.
00:14:22.520 America runs on diesel.
00:14:24.360 We're going to break it all down.
00:14:26.560 800 to 2,000 ships in the Persian Gulf.
00:14:33.460 I love it.
00:14:34.400 The Arabian Gulf.
00:14:35.240 It's the North Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Oman in the Persian Gulf.
00:14:40.100 center of geopolitics right now and also changing world's capital markets
00:14:47.940 short commercial break back with captain james finnell eric bowling in the war room
00:14:53.480 everyone's focus on how the conflict in the middle east is raising oil prices but there's
00:15:04.240 another grim reality to this contention. Oil isn't the only resource being constrained. About
00:15:10.900 one-third of global fertilizer trade happens through this region. And with spring planting
00:15:16.680 season on top of us, American farmers are sounding the alarm, with some saying they can't afford to
00:15:22.060 plant their fields. When one piece of the supply chain gets hit this hard, you know what comes
00:15:27.480 next. Higher fruit prices, reduced availability, maybe even panic buying. That's why having an
00:15:33.840 emergency food supply at home makes so much sense. And that's where our friends at MyPatriotSupply

00:17:19.000 uh because you rate that and you've got a ton of political muscle as seen by this weekend that's
00:17:25.200 not lost on people why do you think we got all these free deals people want access to you because
00:17:29.660 they understand you deliver we get back to bowling in a second but captain finnell clauswitz
00:17:36.540 told taught us right because of his study the napoleonic wars and um napoleon that uh about
00:17:47.040 the center of gravity of battle and the importance of initiative and momentum. Clearly, this battle
00:17:54.960 or war with the Persians shifted after Netanyahu hit the tanker, the storage facilities in Tehran,
00:18:03.740 and I think that first started the war, and then shifted when the Israelis hit the gas field
00:18:09.340 that is joint owned by Qatar and the Persians, but managed by Qatar, and still, I think,
00:18:16.240 part of it, 17%, but it's out of commission for a couple of years. They've had the initiative
00:18:21.540 since then. Do you believe, as Admiral Cooper ran through the alternatives of President Trump,
00:18:27.460 this was a way to seize back the initiative, to send the Navy in? The blockade is working,
00:18:32.940 obviously. The Chinese are hurting from it. Our allies get out. Nobody else does. But to actually
00:18:38.980 take the blockade and go into the Persian Gulf itself and force the action and prove beyond any 0.95
00:18:44.980 doubt that the Persians are a paper tiger when it comes to shutting down the Strait of Hormuz, sir? 1.00
00:18:53.240 That's my assessment, Steve. I agree with that. I think that we've been hearing for the last 60 1.00
00:18:58.420 days about that there were mines, there were drones, there were missiles, there was all kind
00:19:04.660 of Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz. And so we have now proven, at least today,
00:19:10.420 for the second time, we've put destroyers, U.S. Navy warships inside through the Strait of Hormuz
00:19:16.820 into the Gulf. And now we have reports, verified reports, that at least two U.S. flag merchant
00:19:23.640 ships have been escorted out or have been able to go out under American control and protection.
00:19:31.260 Hang on, hang on, just to make sure people understand that. And this is why, because
00:19:36.100 information warfare has been their primary when he talks about Hormuz the information warfare that
00:19:43.220 the western media picked up and world media picked up is what kept the 800 or 2,000 vessels in there
00:19:48.800 and this is why as soon as they saw the destroyers transit Hormuz and get into the Persian Gulf
00:19:55.300 that they immediately came out with that they had been hit or at least attacked by Iranian missiles
00:20:02.280 which turned out to not be true, I guess? Yes, CENTCOM has come out and put out a post on X and
00:20:10.100 the fact check and said that's completely patently false. None of our ships have been hit, which is
00:20:15.060 the pattern for this last two months. The Iranian regime has put out several reports about ships
00:20:21.040 being hit, the Lincoln was hit, all kinds of fake news. So it is a form of propaganda, cognitive 0.90
00:20:27.340 warfare, information warfare. But also, it's not just the Iranians. It's our own press. 1.00
00:20:33.380 As you recall, a week or so ago, we had the Wall Street Journal reporting that they had
00:20:37.940 an assessment from the Pentagon that said it would take six months to clear the Strait
00:20:42.240 of Hormuz. Well, it hasn't taken six months. So far to date, there has not been one verified
00:20:47.940 report of a mine in the water in the Strait of Hormuz. Yet it dominates the world's press
00:20:54.020 and has dominated it, maybe now this will finally break the hold. But again, there are forces there
00:21:00.360 inside our own press corps that don't want to support what we're doing. And so they're going
00:21:05.620 to twist and turn and shape the narrative to their agenda. But the objective facts seem very
00:21:12.940 clear. There hasn't been a mine. These ships have now departed. Our ships have gone in and out.
00:21:18.280 And we'll watch and see what happens over the next few days. But I think it should be objectively
00:21:23.280 clear that the evidence is increasingly apparent that the Iranians don't have the ability to shut 0.92
00:21:29.180 down the Strait of Hormuz. And now it's up to the rest of the international community to say,
00:21:34.700 we get it. And it's up to NATO and our other allies to say, hey, we're going to come in and
00:21:40.560 help now too to do this. So it's not just the United States that's doing it alone. So that's
00:21:45.820 my assessment is where we're going is we're going to start demonstrating the facts on the ground
00:21:50.460 are that this is going to be an open ability to transit.
00:21:55.080 Okay, hang on for a second.
00:21:56.620 Harnwell's going to join us from Rome because we're going to talk about
00:21:59.120 Rubio's trip to Italy, not just for the Pope, but also for Maloney,
00:22:05.160 for this exact topic about the Italian Navy pitching in here,
00:22:09.120 which she says now she's adamantly opposed to.
00:22:11.920 Bowling.
00:22:13.380 So talk to me, is this the game changer we've been looking for?
00:22:16.740 Is President Trump wanting to force the action
00:22:18.940 And Cooper giving him an alternative here to basically force the action by sending the Navy, the destroyers into the straight through the Strait of Hormuz, transiting into the Persian Gulf to tell these 800 to 2000 vessels, hey, just follow us.
00:22:34.900 We'll get you out of here through this new southern, you know, closer to Oman transit zone.
00:22:40.500 Sir, a couple of thoughts on that real quick.
00:22:43.340 And I'm just bringing you the facts.
00:22:45.340 I talked to the head oil traders of oil producing companies, Chevron, Exxon, and refiners, some of the major refiners in the world.
00:22:53.200 I did it for 35 years of my life, 20 right there on the trading floor, and I have very, very good information.
00:22:58.860 Here's the latest, okay?
00:22:59.940 There are 2,000 vessels trapped right now inside the Gulf.
00:23:04.200 There are 400 waiting outside.
00:23:06.380 So you're approaching 2,500 vessels that aren't moving.
00:23:10.300 I just looked between the last 24 hours from 5.3 to 5.4 today, seven have transited in and six have transited out, a total of 13 only.
00:23:21.640 I will note, do not shoot the messenger here.
00:23:24.660 I despise everything about Rupert Murdoch and everything he has to offer us as far as what he calls news.
00:23:30.960 But they do point out that Besson and Trump are calling this escorts when in reality it's not an escort.
00:23:39.040 It's a recommended route combined with insurance companies giving their, you know, check, red check, say go ahead and do it, and shipping companies agreeing.
00:23:48.000 So it's a conglomerate of groups, none of them being the Navy destroyers, actually escorting vessels in and out.
00:23:54.500 To do 100 vessels in and out or 130 vessels in and out would be impossible.
00:23:59.600 So it's not exactly what it is.
00:24:02.380 Tanker rates are triple what they were before the conflict started.
00:24:07.240 So and that's really where it lies.
00:24:09.020 How much does it cost to transport goods and how quickly can you get it?
00:24:13.160 And right now, Steve, in the last 24 hours, anything that the administration has proposed
00:24:18.080 certainly isn't in action right now.
00:24:20.220 I'm not trying to rain on the party or the parade.
00:24:23.040 But the truth is until you have real open.
00:24:26.220 Hang on.
00:24:26.360 Let me give you one more thought.
00:24:27.420 One more quick thought.
00:24:28.300 Go ahead.
00:24:28.820 Go ahead.
00:24:29.160 But what this whole conflict is, this backup of oil, this draining of resources around
00:24:34.480 the globe, here's how it is interpreted by the top trading desks in the world right now.
00:24:39.520 Not just oil, but trading desks.
00:24:41.400 Japan, China, India, EU, critical.
00:24:45.760 It's a critical crisis happening right now.
00:24:48.280 United States, moderate.
00:24:50.220 And this is right from top trading desks.
00:24:52.480 So my point is, what's the rush?
00:24:56.940 Squeeze.
00:24:57.300 Please starve the snake.
00:25:00.920 That's my point.
00:25:01.660 I'd say take our time with this because we're certainly in no rush on this side,
00:25:06.060 but there are political implications to that.
00:25:10.500 When you say there's no rush on our side, then why is diesel?
00:25:14.400 Yes, that's it.
00:25:16.260 That's it.
00:25:17.160 Hang on.
00:25:17.700 You say there's no rush on our side, but diesel's at an all-time high here.
00:25:23.020 Gasoline's blowing through four bucks.
00:25:24.720 the guy in the street the guy the trucker pulling up to the truck stop to fill up before he goes
00:25:30.320 cross country in a long haul says hey i understand all your geopolitics and geoeconomics and geo this
00:25:36.780 and geo that but i'm getting crushed here so when you say that it's it's fungible it the the are the
00:25:43.900 oil companies who just announced great profits on thursday and friday are they holding up the
00:25:48.440 american people yeah well again early on we talked about let's get this thing open quickly because
00:25:54.700 of gas prices. We're beyond that, Steve. We're going to hit $4.50 this week. We may hit $5 by 1.00
00:26:00.220 the end of the summer. I predicted this a long time ago. And everyone said, bowling, this is a
00:26:04.700 bigger problem. This is a global problem. They hate us. Death to America. We have to replace this
00:26:09.320 regime. And so which one is it? My personal belief is we should have cut a deal with them a long time
00:26:15.340 ago, get oil prices down because going into the midterms, we're going to take it on the chin.
00:26:19.460 And frankly, at this point, you're going to have $5.
00:26:23.120 You may have a new high-end all-time on gasoline.
00:26:25.160 That's tough.
00:26:25.920 Hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on.
00:26:28.160 Hang on, hang on.
00:26:30.220 They got down on you because your logic, as you said the other day,
00:26:34.660 we're exporting 14 million barrels a day, correct?
00:26:38.800 A record.
00:26:39.220 So if we're exporting 14 million barrels a day,
00:26:44.000 because as Captain Fennell points out,
00:26:46.360 there are no ships coming out of the Persian Gulf until today.
00:26:49.460 in any kind of in any kind of scale if we're exporting 14 million barrels a day why are the
00:26:57.120 gas prices here having almost as big increases as they are in places like i don't know randomly
00:27:03.700 india the eu places that depend upon the persian gulf and that oil coming out from the arabs on
00:27:12.000 one side and the persians on the other why are there and why the record the oil companies announced
00:27:16.880 record profits the other day because one word the free market two words the free market free
00:27:22.800 market we're built on the free market and the free market she seeks the greatest price it can
00:27:26.720 for its goods so there's no real if they can sell their oil you know produce it in in california and
00:27:33.680 sell it to some germany they're going to do it at shipping cost so hang on hang on hang on hang on
00:27:41.440 And gouge the citizens of the United States is what they're doing.
00:27:46.460 Yeah, you've got to use anti-gouging laws.
00:27:48.160 Don't give me free market.
00:27:51.220 I don't want to hear free market.
00:27:52.260 That's happy talk.
00:27:53.700 That's literally happy talk. 0.99
00:27:55.100 The United States Navy, the working people, there is no such thing as the free market.
00:28:02.560 The entire system's rigged top to bottom against the little guy.
00:28:06.880 And nothing is better to show that than what's happening right now.
00:28:10.100 Anyway, short commercial break.
00:28:11.440 Eric Bolling, our man on oil, Captain Fennell, our man on the Navy, and the main thing, next in the war room.
00:28:22.960 The dollar's convertibility into gold ended in 1971.
00:28:27.900 Gold was fixed at $35 an ounce.
00:28:30.880 Well, fast forward to today, and the U.S. dollar has lost over 85% of its purchasing power.
00:28:38.240 Gold, on the other hand, is increased in value by over 12,000%.
00:28:42.860 That's why central banks are buying gold at record levels.
00:28:46.840 That's why major firms like Vanguard and BlackRide hold significant positions in gold.
00:28:53.120 And that's why I encourage you to consider diversifying your savings with physical gold from Birch Gold Group.
00:29:00.020 But it starts with education.
00:29:02.240 Birch Gold just announced their Learn and Earn Precious Metals event.

00:29:25.900 The dollar lost its anchor in 1971.
00:29:29.960 You don't have to lose yours.
00:29:32.240 Text my name, Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N, to the number 989898
00:29:37.020 to join Birch Gold's Learn and Earn Precious Metals event by April 30th.
00:29:42.580 Text Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N, to 989898 and do it today.
00:29:49.280 Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.
00:29:54.000 Okay, we have a lot to get through, unlimited time to get through,
00:29:58.140 so I'm going to chop some wood here.
00:30:00.020 Captain Finnell, first off, in response to Eric's point that we're not escorting, although Bess and the President are kind of applying that, we're not actually escorting ships.
00:30:08.920 We're clearing a path to have multiple ships come out in that new lane that's been a navigation lane that's been created closer to Oman, correct?
00:30:20.880 Yes, I think it's fair to say that what we've seen today is that we've had some number of U.S. Navy warships, destroyers, go into the Gulf.
00:30:31.920 We have some number that are operating outside the Gulf along with an amphibious ready group and an aircraft carrier.
00:30:38.300 We have 100 plus land-based and sea-based aircraft.
00:30:41.940 We have unmanned vessels and we have cooperation with Oman.
00:30:45.800 And we've demonstrated that there's a transit lane, not only with our warships, but with merchant flag, U.S. flag merchant ships. 0.85
00:30:54.100 So now all the conditions have demonstrated that the Iranians are impotent in their ability to interdict those kind of ships with the protection that we're providing over the sea, on the sea, and under the sea. 0.96
00:31:07.820 So right now, the onus will be on the international shipping community to say, why aren't you willing to leave? 0.98
00:31:14.180 You're willing to go through the Iranian toll booth and pay two to four million dollars a ship.
00:31:20.300 Why don't you go for free through this lane that we've created?
00:31:23.560 And so I think that's the pressure we'll be mounting then.
00:31:26.840 And that's backed up by carrier air wings on these carriers.
00:31:30.620 So we have we have air superior, air supremacy.
00:31:33.680 And now we have major we have combatants are actually in the Persian Gulf himself to to show people where the lane is, correct?
00:31:42.160 Correct. And we'll have A-10 warthogs up. We'll have airborne command and control aircraft, 0.98
00:31:49.040 intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft to have a complete view of what's
00:31:53.300 happening. So if anybody from Iran, one little mosquito boat or five mosquito boats decide to 1.00
00:31:58.840 leave Iranian waters, they're going to be, and we have the ROE now, there's been statements from 1.00
00:32:04.080 the administration that the ROE allows us to strike those kind of vessels. So the Iranians 1.00
00:32:09.160 are going to have to transit 20 plus miles across the Strait of Hormuz to get into range to launch 0.97
00:32:15.400 an RPG. They're not going to be able to do that without being blown up, just like we're seeing
00:32:20.380 in the Southcom area in Venezuela and the Caribbean. They won't get across. Drones are 0.99
00:32:26.900 going to be neutralized now. We have new technologies there, lasers and things of that
00:32:31.500 nature. And any kind of ballistic or anti-ship cruise missiles are not going to have any
00:32:36.700 targeting data. So they're going to shoot into the blind if they try it. So I don't think the
00:32:40.680 Iranians are going to have much success here. So it's really a matter of will by the international 1.00
00:32:45.660 shipping community, following the will that's been demonstrated by the United States Navy.
00:32:51.200 Now, the United States Navy needs assistance in this. We can't do it forever, particularly as
00:32:55.460 we just showed that this is all going to Europe and to Asia. Ben Harnwell in Rome, the Secretary
00:33:01.580 States heading over to see Maloney and the Pope. Maloney specifically about NATO and very
00:33:08.220 specifically Italy and the Italian Navy pitching in here. Your thoughts? Didn't she already tell
00:33:13.860 us, no, we're not interested, sir? Well, I think what she's trying to do, it's not that Italy's
00:33:20.220 saying, no, we're not interested. It's no, we're not interested in US leadership in this. We're
00:33:24.860 going to do it. We'll do it. We'll try and guarantee freedom of travel in the Strait of
00:33:28.960 But we're going to do it with our EU partners. We'll do this looking for a UN mandate. And that's really, I think, the snub, the rebuff to US leadership on this from America's bridge to Europe.
00:33:44.700 With regards, however, to the visit, I think it's set to be the Pope on Thursday and Phony Maloney herself on Friday, even though the official State Department released said they're going to see Vatican leadership and then their equivalent representatives in the Italian government.
00:34:03.780 almost universally the press isn't sort of spinning this with regards to iran or the gulf of
00:34:11.260 hormuz but they're spinning this as effectively an apology tour marco rubio is going is coming to
00:34:18.680 europe to italy to restore the relationship after the uh hold it hang on hang on full stop full
00:34:27.800 stop you're saying an apology tour by the united states of america it's a groveling on one's knees
00:34:34.420 apology tour steve yeah a groveling hang on hang on it's it's it's being presented by the european
00:34:40.040 media as a groveling tour of the united states the pope into maloney into the eu and these dead
00:34:46.200 beats have have done nothing to date when they had every opportunity to help us out on a straight
00:34:51.220 in a in the persian gulf which 100 in the red sea that back that supplies their economy and doesn't
00:34:57.280 only apply the united states with anything they have the gall to do that um perhaps i need to
00:35:03.620 choose my words a little better steve it's a groveling humiliating prostrated groveling tour
00:35:10.320 by little marco to to italy to rome that's how it's being presented um in the italian press
00:35:17.460 for sure um and i have to say right it seems to me that the state department is willingly
00:35:25.540 allowing itself to be played into that narrative and that's what's the most appalling thing about
00:35:31.140 it okay let me explain what i mean by that okay go ahead well let me explain what i mean by that
00:35:40.620 um i personally as are you as in anyone who's prepared to defend president trump and this
00:35:47.540 administration publicly here in continental europe and by that i mean the the uk with
00:35:54.480 everyone who does that is um used to a bit of tds it's low level it's always there that's fine
00:36:03.400 i can quite easily cope with people criticizing me for supporting the president not no problem at all
00:36:10.120 what really gets me however is where this administration allows itself to be played
00:36:17.320 um and shows itself and i'm not saying this is the case i'm saying this is the perception
00:36:23.320 it shows itself of not worthy of respect that is something i find far more difficult on personal
00:36:30.300 interactions to defend um and i would if i were marco rubio if i were the state i would be i'd
00:36:36.760 cancel i'd cancel the trip on the basis of these headlines and i'll say cancel you you you you want
00:36:43.100 to repair this relationship you come here you come to me you come to see me um in dc that's how we'll
00:36:50.100 That's how we'll repair this relationship, because this relationship will be repaired by you understanding what President Trump meant by his criticisms, by internalizing it and correcting your faulty behavior.
00:37:04.220 That's how we repair this relationship.
00:37:06.080 Coming here for a prostrated, humiliating, groveling apology tour, and as I repeat, that is literally how La Repubblica is playing this, almost to the word, is unacceptable.
00:37:20.100 It's absolutely unacceptable, Steve.
00:37:22.440 Bowling, this is why we send in 14 million barrels to bail these guys out
00:37:27.100 or their oil and gas prices be through the roof when we got diesel at 583.
00:37:32.140 And you see right there, they think that the president was wrong about this war.
00:37:37.080 He's been wrong about the prosecution of this war.
00:37:39.540 And they're playing up Marco Rubio going to see the Pope and Maloney.
00:37:42.820 And even seeing Maloney blows my head up,
00:37:45.060 even maybe as bad as seeing the Pope, that we're bailing him out, sir.
00:37:50.100 again steve you're either with the free market or you're not it's either part of the american
00:37:56.720 fabric or it's not and you have to make the choice do you want to play the game of letting
00:38:01.540 government dictate where our goods are being sold i don't eric it's eric it's eric it's called
00:38:07.800 america first why are we shipping 14 million barrels a day i don't want to argue i'm simply
00:38:12.620 saying you have a choice here to decide do you want government because when when a democrat if
00:38:17.340 a democrat becomes president house and senate they can play all kinds of games steve they can
00:38:22.040 say i have to i have to i have to i have to i have to going forward and that's i have my my work
00:38:27.760 my hang on my work my work hang on my work hang on my work deprogramming you from your years on
00:38:36.080 wall street and from fox and newsmax is much greater than i realized this morning i've only
00:38:43.260 You pronounce it, it's News Hacks.
00:38:45.820 It's not Newsmax, it's News Hacks.
00:38:48.080 UAE says fire erupts in their petroleum industrial site following a drone attack from Iran. 0.58
00:38:54.140 So Iran is not done fighting whatever they're doing.
00:38:58.000 We're sending 13, 14 million barrels a day out, record high when we shouldn't be.
00:39:03.440 But it would have to, for me, as a free marketeer, I'm going to stick with it.
00:39:07.740 I'm a libertarian.
00:39:08.520 I would prefer the president bringing these oil companies in, refiners and producers, and sitting down with them in the East Room,
00:39:15.980 embarrassing the living daylights out of them in front of the American people, because that's what moves in the middle.
00:39:20.900 When shareholders get spooked because the CEO appears to be gouging the American people, just lean into them and say,
00:39:27.920 you guys, where are your profits? Why are you doing windfall war profits when the rest of America is struggling?
00:39:32.940 You got to embarrass them into it, Steve.
00:39:34.580 I would really prefer not using government controls to dictate price or destination of goods.
00:39:43.440 Eric, where do people go?
00:39:45.440 We'll do a handoff at 4 today.
00:39:47.560 We'll do it later.
00:39:47.880 You've got a busy show today.
00:39:49.000 I'll see you at 4 o'clock or 4.50 if we can.
00:39:51.700 Okay, brother.
00:39:52.620 Stay on this, guys.
00:39:53.520 This is not over, anywhere near over.
00:39:56.300 So, Captain Fennell, I know you've got to punch out.
00:40:00.000 But a drone strike on UAE, does that change your attitude at all?
00:40:06.360 No, that's what I said an hour ago.
00:40:08.680 I said that they're likely going to reach out in a different domain.
00:40:12.200 So I'm not unexpected, but my point is that the strait itself, they're going to have a tough time being able to interdict there.
00:40:20.200 And I think that once we start demonstrating and ships start passing, this flow will change.
00:40:26.620 And that will put Eric's assessments and the rest of the market, oil market, into a different light.
00:40:33.020 We just have to get people to believe that it's an open and free lane.
00:40:38.860 And I think by demonstrating these ships coming in and out, and we do this over some number of days, that that will change the dynamic. 1.00
00:40:46.700 But we have to watch out for the Iranians to reach out in a different way. 0.97
00:40:50.360 But every time they reach out, they're risking the ceasefire. 0.94
00:40:53.600 And when they do that, they're risking lights out in Tehran and something much worse.
00:40:58.940 You would agree that you think you think that the United States and the president now retaken the initiative in this conflict?
00:41:06.180 Oh, yeah, I think they've had the initiative all along. 0.72
00:41:09.120 I think they're just trying to be patient and to get Iran to come to their senses, which, you know, we have talked on this show many, many times that that's probably not going to happen. 0.87
00:41:18.780 So it's going to probably get darker before it gets lighter, but the gulf can stay open. 0.85
00:41:25.000 We'll have you back on and talk about the main thing.
00:41:27.600 Where do people go to get your writing, sir?
00:41:31.800 I write sometimes for American Greatness, and I have a piece coming out tomorrow in the U.S. Naval Institute Proceedings on the PLA Navy Year in Review.
00:41:40.340 Should hit the streets tomorrow.
00:41:42.300 Perfect.
00:41:43.260 We'll get you back on.
00:41:44.280 Thank you, Captain Fennell.
00:41:45.060 Appreciate you this morning.
00:41:47.240 Ben Harnwell.
00:41:48.780 ben harnwell your your advice being in your perch in rome is the way this is being played
00:41:55.440 is that we're apologizing should both of these meetings be canceled should both of these meetings
00:42:01.180 be canceled immediately without any doubt whatsoever of course absolutely um i think
00:42:06.780 the state department has badly presented or allow the reason why marco rubio is going to rome
00:42:14.520 in the press uh and that i think just signals american weakness where it's absolutely not
00:42:20.420 necessary um so i would i have no hesitation whatsoever to cancel in both of these meetings
00:42:25.380 and besides america america has nothing to apologize president trump has nothing
00:42:30.340 to apologize for with what he said i was delighted i think that's one of the high
00:42:34.680 points of the last 10 years when he criticized both george and mary and especially pope leo
00:42:40.360 um that that was a long time coming uh and 100 there's no need to walk that back
00:42:47.300 and 100 deserve you agree with me that no a thousand percent deserved
00:42:53.700 uh ben harnwell we'll get you back on tomorrow where where can people uh get your beady-eyed
00:43:01.780 analysis on social media um adjectives are important steve cynical beady eyes please
00:43:08.700 getter my social media platform of choice at harnwell tap in my surname or my provocative
00:43:14.840 my gratuitously outrageous provocative posts at the top of the feed awaiting your attention

00:44:04.440 Now, here's why. The insurance companies and their lackeys in the Washington swamp have built a
00:44:09.920 Medicare system designed to confuse you and rip you off. Rising premiums, denied claims,
00:44:16.800 fine print nobody but a lobbyist understands. Millions of American seniors are paying too much
00:44:22.580 and getting too little. And worst of all, most don't even know it. Hey, that could be you.
00:44:28.860 That's why if you're already on Medicare or will be soon, you need to talk to our friends at
00:44:34.500 Chapter. They have a team of advisors trained to serve American seniors, not the insurance
00:44:39.380 companies. In under 20 minutes, they can find you the best plan for your needs at the lowest cost.
00:44:45.980 Why? They're a data company. They have all the data on every plan. It's totally free. There's
00:44:52.780 no pressure, no BS, just straightforward, honest help from fellow patriots. So don't wait. Call
00:44:59.020 845-WAR-ROOM right now. That's 845-WAR-ROOM. Tell them Bannon sent you. Now listen, in the first
00:45:06.020 couple of days of the launch of this company with the Warren Posse, Posse members saved tens and up
00:45:11.980 to hundreds of thousands collectively of dollars in these fees.
00:45:15.900 Go check it out today.
00:45:16.940 That's chapter.
00:45:18.140 Call 845-WAR-ROOM.
00:45:20.440 Do it today.
00:45:21.800 War Room.
00:45:22.620 Here's your host, Stephen K. Mann.
00:45:26.140 We talked about the situation with AI data centers in Texas.
00:45:31.760 Also tomorrow in Texas, going to have a breakdown of some issues
00:45:38.240 with the Islamic invasion of Texas and Sharia law.
00:45:41.640 We'll get to that tomorrow.
00:45:42.640 I want to thank Patriot Mobile for being the tip of the spear on all these topics.
00:45:47.540 Jenny and Glenn, the story, just an amazing job.
00:45:50.260 972 Patriot.
00:45:52.260 Talk to someone with the East Texas accent in their customer service department.
00:45:56.440 Find out why it's the best mobile service out there
00:45:58.760 and why this Christian-based company of Christian values
00:46:02.980 supports the issues and institutions and organizations that you support.
00:46:09.180 Patriot Mobile, 972 Patriot.
00:46:11.640 Daniel Buck, now head of Strategic Alliances and Partnerships of Patriot, join us.
00:46:15.920 You guys had a big weekend.
00:46:17.260 I was watching Rav, very big Saturday night with Patriot Mobile and other of your alliance
00:46:23.060 partners, ma'am.
00:46:24.600 Yes, I just returned from New York celebrating America's 250th with Moms for Liberty and
00:46:30.960 Mercury One and many other organizations on Ellis Island, you know, where so many Americans
00:46:36.520 came through that same hall with a hope and a dream to start a new life here in America. I was
00:46:42.100 able to find my great grandmother. It was really special for me. And it was just an incredible
00:46:47.060 evening of reminding why America. And as you look at the Statue of Liberty to see, you know, it's a
00:46:53.440 beacon of hope. America is a beacon of hope to the whole world. And to get to be there, I'm looking
00:46:58.720 at these pictures and just honestly, it's kind of taking my breath away, just the way it was on
00:47:03.040 Saturday night. Because America is something to be celebrated. And I think that sometimes that
00:47:08.560 is forgotten. And we all should remember it. I mean, we have 250 years of freedom. And that's
00:47:14.180 what Patriot Mobile is all about, is supporting an event like this. It's celebrating America
00:47:18.100 and celebrating why America is beautiful. And what's so interesting is that the American story
00:47:24.520 is also kind of the Patriot Mobile story of a dream to say, hey, I'm tired of woke America
00:47:30.100 taking our dollars and using it against us.
00:47:32.140 And so Glenn's story started Patriot Mobile 13 years ago.
00:47:35.280 And to see that we get to,
00:47:36.780 there's a fun picture of our group at our table.
00:47:38.780 There's Jenny's story and many of our others.
00:47:41.320 To get to be there and say,
00:47:42.840 hey, we celebrate America and we want you to join us.
00:47:46.680 And while we were there,
00:47:47.640 it wasn't just the people that were putting on the event,
00:47:49.800 which was incredible, by the way.
00:47:51.480 But it was also, we saw America First Policy Institute people,
00:47:54.700 Moms for America people,
00:47:56.000 American Journey Experience people.
00:47:57.900 Sean Foyt led us in a few worship songs,
00:48:00.100 as we were standing outside, just kind of looking at the flag and the Statue of Liberty and the New
00:48:05.160 York skyline and just really worshiping God for what he has done through our country. And it was
00:48:11.660 an incredible moment. And what's fun is that there's another event coming up in just over a
00:48:16.680 month, and it's called Sea to Shining Sea. So this one was obviously on the New York Harbor,
00:48:20.620 and the next one is in San Diego on the flight deck at the USS Midway. And we're sponsoring that
00:48:27.440 event as well, because it's on D-Day and we're going to celebrate the men and women who fought
00:48:32.260 for our country. And I think it's going to be an equally incredible experience. And so looking
00:48:37.540 forward to that as well. And I was just chatting actually over text as I was waiting for my hit
00:48:42.140 with you about some of our team. They're headed with the Moms for America team to celebrate their
00:48:46.720 250th tour in San Antonio and in Dallas and Fort Worth just this week. So wherever you are in the
00:48:52.400 country, I would encourage you to reach out to find one of our cause partners, get involved,
00:48:56.420 You know, whether it's a veteran group or a pro-life group or celebrating moms who are fighting for their children like Moms for Liberty or Moms for America, just join them and, you know, get off your couch and do something.
00:49:06.760 I think that's what I encourage people to do is you can join Patriot Mobile and you can be reminded every month of the things that you're supporting by just paying a cell phone bill.
00:49:14.480 But I also know that God has something that he's called each of you to do.
00:49:17.680 So whether it's telling the neighbor or watching somebody or doing a kind favor for them, telling them about the hope that we have in Jesus.
00:49:26.060 I mean, I think that sometimes people just be reminded that we each can do something
00:49:30.420 to serve our Lord and Savior and to make America a better place.
00:49:35.680 972 Patriot is where you get started.
00:49:37.580 Go there today.
00:49:38.800 You'll talk to one of the customer service reps with a East Texas accent.
00:49:43.020 Just a wonderful company.
00:49:44.460 Where do they go to find out more of what you're working on as Strategic Alliance
00:49:47.800 and everything Patriot Mobile is doing in the community, ma'am?
00:49:51.020 Well, the easiest way is to just follow along on our social media.
00:49:53.440 We have our Facebook, our Instagram, our X, where we're constantly posting all the things that we were doing.
00:49:58.520 There was a whole other team of people at NASCAR yesterday doing that as well.
00:50:02.640 So we're kind of all over the place.
00:50:04.340 So I just would encourage you to join us if you haven't already today by, as you said, calling 972-PATRIOT and talking to somebody and getting switched over today.
00:50:11.680 And follow us on social media.
00:50:13.660 Read our blogs.
00:50:14.440 And when you're a member, you'll get to be reminded of all these amazing things that we get to sponsor and support because of your hard-earned dollars.
00:50:22.440 I'm just taking a wild guess that Glenn Story took the NASCAR part and that Jenny Story was
00:50:27.540 there for the others. I'm just throwing it out there. Yeah, you guessed it.
00:50:31.860 I have no insider information. Yeah, no, I was getting pictures. Are you going to come to NASCAR
00:50:38.880 when you land? And I'm like, I'm landing too late. Sorry, I need to go see my family. But
00:50:42.960 I know they had a blast. Danielle Buck, thank you so much. Appreciate you and the entire team
