00:17:51.700 CMS, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, announced that the administration
00:17:56.360 will be ending a Part D, which is the prescription plan side of Medicare, a Part D subsidy a
00:18:03.200 year early.
00:18:04.180 So the government is taking a pretty bold move.
00:18:06.680 And frankly, as far as I understand, this was largely Dr. Oz's decision.
00:18:09.860 it's it's a very bold move going into the midterms to pull a subsidy back but it's actually
00:18:15.300 quite responsible and and probably the right move for the government um and what it will do is it
00:18:20.240 will probably increase the part d prescription drug premiums but the posse can protect that
00:18:26.460 increase slow down slow why is it responsible for dr ours to do this walk me through the
00:18:31.840 responsibility part then we walk through the impact on uh on the basic taxpayer why is it
00:18:38.080 Because the government, and this was implemented by the Biden administration, the subsidy in the first place, the government is essentially lining the pockets of insurance carriers.
00:18:46.720 It's subsidizing insurance carriers directly to arbitrarily and artificially keep prescription drug premium prices lower.
00:18:56.200 But a lot of that excess cost is actually just a market inefficiency in the system.
00:19:02.180 So when the government stops lining the pockets of the insurance carriers, there are ways for consumers to protect themselves by switching to a better Part D plan, a better Medicare Part D plan.
00:19:11.680 So it's responsible for the government not to be spending unnecessary money lining the pockets of carriers.
00:19:17.740 But you're saying, obviously, the optics of or the politics of it is tough to pull a subsidy away in the last 90 days in a run up.
00:19:25.720 Normally, people have a tendency to make a nasty commercial about that and not make you look good.
00:19:30.400 So for the practicality, let's leave the politics aside for a second in the economics, just for the practicality of the War Room Posse, how should they handle this? What should they do?
00:19:41.800 Yep, they will likely see an increase in their Part D prescription premiums and maybe copays. And so the way to protect yourselves from that increase is to make sure that you shop your Part D plan to look for a better plan.

00:22:53.300 And the senators are working together. Grassley has been hugely helpful in this process. He has been Todd Blanche's biggest champion and advocate. Grassley really wants to get this done. But we don't have the votes right now on the Senate Judiciary Committee until Tellus and Cornyn get the resolution they want from President Trump and his personal attorney. So that's where we are.

00:41:39.000 percent, little tiny this much. It went down that much during one year. First time in 28 years it
00:41:45.540 went down. It was always like this, just up, more expensive. And I called the news conference. I was
00:41:51.920 so proud of myself. And I said, ladies and gentlemen, first time in 28 years, drug prices
00:41:57.580 have gone down from January till the end of December. And I want to just congratulate
00:42:04.720 everybody for being a part of this wonderful experiment. And one-eighth of a point now,
00:42:10.820 we're talking about 400, 500, 600 percent coming down. We pay the lowest drug prices anywhere in
00:42:18.220 the world from the highest. So, you know, and I'll say it again and again because the press doesn't
00:42:22.760 want to record it. The fake news doesn't want to record it. They don't want to talk about it.
00:42:26.820 What that does for health care, Bobby, is unbelievable because medicine is a big part
00:42:30.880 of health care. So I wish that people would understand that. And I hope they're going to
00:42:35.840 vote for us in the midterms because you'll see some stuff that will be horrible because they

00:43:45.660 country. And what that is, is weak law, bad management, but very liberal law. They passed a
00:43:56.620 couple of laws, and people read. You know, people are smart. They read from other countries,
00:44:01.100 and they swam that three-mile swim well however they got in but nobody's seen anything like it
00:44:07.360 that will look good compared to what's going to happen to the United States the biggest thing the
00:44:12.720 worst thing that Biden did is allowing 25 million people into our country because many of those

00:48:54.940 I know we have a lot of things going on.
00:48:56.780 This has been an amazing team, from Kelly Loeffler at SBA, to Doug at the VA, to Todd
00:49:03.500 and Bobby Kennedy.
00:49:04.940 This really has required a whole-of-administration approach to try to tackle fraud.
00:49:09.080 There are a few things that I want to talk about and celebrate.
00:49:11.300 The first is that just since the beginning of the fraud task force that I started under the president's leadership and direction
00:49:17.780 We have identified
00:49:19.780 230 billion dollars of frauds being perpetrated against the American people and we have halted already
00:49:26.580 56 billion dollars of that it's sometimes hard once the money has already gone out the door
00:49:30.700 It's hard to get it back, but stopping it from going out the door is how we save the American people 56 billion dollars
00:49:36.600 and, of course, we're going to keep on working on that.
00:49:39.340 Just today, Mr. President, we will announce 17 new anti-fraud actions
00:49:43.760 that will total about a third of a billion dollars,
00:49:47.140 and that's added to the $230 billion that we've already uncovered.
00:49:51.600 And I want to just talk, for the benefit of the American people,
00:49:54.460 about why do we care so much about this?
00:49:56.500 Because what I always try to remind people is that fraud has two victims.
00:50:00.440 So, to give one concrete example,
00:50:02.780 there is a program that is administered by Medicaid,
00:50:07.320 And that program ensures that low-income moms and low-income babies have access to neonatal
00:50:12.780 care.
00:50:13.140 Now, I think most Americans probably share my view that this is one of the great things
00:50:16.840 about the United States of America, that if we see a baby and we see a young mother that
00:50:21.380 requires help, we help our fellow Americans.
00:50:24.040 That's a good thing.
00:50:24.880 It's something that we should be proud of.
00:50:26.320 And yet, there is a program that has defrauded the moms and the babies who benefit from these.
00:50:32.900 You've gotten people who've gotten rich by setting up false companies that are providing false services.
00:50:38.460 So who loses in that equation?
00:50:40.540 Number one, of course, is the American taxpayer that is $230 billion poorer because of the fraud that this country has let go on.
00:50:48.660 But I actually think most importantly is that we've seen that program run out of money.
00:50:53.800 So we've seen moms and babies unable to access the health care that they need because the fraudsters have gotten rich.
00:51:00.520 That is a disgrace.
00:51:02.160 And until the president ordered us to stop it, no one was doing anything about it.
00:51:06.720 So we've made a lot of progress, Mr. President, in just under a year.
00:51:10.740 But we're going to keep on working at it because we believe the American people deserve to have their money spent as you and the Congress have directed it.

00:52:18.620 we all know we've followed in the news,
00:52:20.120 obviously, the events in the Middle East
00:52:21.460 and others who didn't talk about that.

00:52:23.700 but there's some other issues happening around the world,
00:52:25.420 Mr. President, that you've shown great leadership
00:52:27.600 and have not gotten nearly as much attention, I think they deserve to mention today.
00:52:30.880 The first is the International Criminal Court is an illegitimate international organization
00:52:35.820 that, frankly, illegitimate, they've made themselves illegitimate because they claim
00:52:38.980 that even if you're not a member of that court, they can come after you.
00:52:41.860 What that literally means in the future is that American servicemen, political leaders,
00:52:46.060 and others could find themselves under indictment by this International Criminal Court.
00:52:51.800 If you want to know a little bit about it, Jack Smith used to work there.
00:52:54.160 These are the people that think they can go out and basically indict any world leader and follow into the Hague
00:52:58.720 So we've begun we try to get them to reform and listen to us. They wouldn't do it. They're very arrogant
00:53:03.240 We've now begun an effort to really try to bring that court to heal
00:53:07.080 There's no information that they're after me
00:53:09.760 It could happen

00:53:14.540 I'm saying that means that maybe he's not trying to defend me

00:53:41.660 Imagine if you're a soldier you fought in war 20 years later to try to come grab you so this is a big problem
00:53:46.740 So we've had dozens of countries already join us in this effort.
00:53:49.600 Since we started two weeks ago, five countries have already quit the ICC
00:53:52.960 and notified them that they're leaving, and we think there'll be more.
00:53:56.120 The second thing is we had an unprecedented ministerial.
00:53:58.440 Sixty countries came to Washington, and were a part of an effort
00:54:01.800 where we were shedding light on far-left terrorism and violence.
00:54:05.720 You know, the bomb goes off somewhere, and it's tied to some right-wing group.
00:54:08.620 I don't consider neo-Nazis right-wing. I consider them Nazis, right?
00:54:12.900 But you're going to get a lot of attention on that.
00:54:14.900 But if it's a leftist group, an Antifa group, it gets no coverage or they ignore the ideological spin and the ideological reason behind it.
00:54:22.920 So we've got 60 countries came up here and hopefully creating a strong coalition to go after far-left violent terrorism.
00:54:29.560 Go after it and call it by name.
00:54:31.280 I think we're building a very strong coalition there.
00:54:33.700 We've had some success in the Middle East, Mr. President.
00:54:36.420 As you know, in the diplomatic front, the deal with Lebanon and Israel is unprecedented.
00:54:41.260 President Ayyoun was here a week ago.
00:54:43.000 I think that was the first visit by a Lebanese president in over 30-some odd years.
00:54:46.860 In fact, this is the first time the Israelis and the Lebanese government have spoken at
00:54:50.280 the official level in close to 30 years.
00:54:52.500 And that was thanks to your leadership.
00:54:53.860 A lot of work to be done to keep that peace and build on it, but it's a real achievable.
00:54:57.960 And of course, as you announced last night, Mr. President, this disarmament deal that
00:55:01.280 you brought about with Stephen and Jared's work on Hamas is another big step as well.
00:55:06.740 It's something a lot of people thought would never happen. 0.94
00:55:08.740 It needs to happen, but the fact that you even agreed to it is a real achievable.
00:55:12.440 Last point is on the Western Hemisphere.
00:55:15.000 For the first time in 15, 20 years, the overwhelming majority of the countries in the Western Hemisphere are now led by pro-American leaders and pro-American governments.
00:55:24.920 It's an extraordinary achievement, all of it happening through a success.
00:55:27.960 Virtually every election that's happened in the Western Hemisphere since you were elected president has elected someone who is pro-American.
00:55:34.220 And I think this is an incredible situation.
00:55:36.800 And last but not least, and I have to thank a number of agencies here, particularly the Department of War.
00:55:41.080 after that terrible earthquake in Venezuela.
00:55:44.180 Within 36 hours, the full force of the American government
00:55:48.020 was on the ground providing humanitarian assistance.
00:55:50.460 It was a sight to behold.
00:55:52.220 The USS Ford, I think, was in their port.
00:55:54.520 Our Marines and Armed Service personnel
00:55:57.960 were helping run their airport and their tower.
00:55:59.640 It is one of the fastest, most dramatic,
00:56:02.120 and most effective humanitarian responses,
00:56:04.780 certainly in recent history, if not ever.
00:56:07.280 And they came at the direction of the President.
00:56:09.100 And in fact, within an hour of that earthquake hitting,
00:56:11.600 I remember because I was overseas,
00:56:13.060 the President called and said,
00:56:14.380 make sure we go in there and help these people recover from this.
00:56:17.500 And we did. And thanks to your leadership, Mr. President.
00:56:19.840 It's a great story. Enough needs to be told about it
00:56:22.420 because the credit goes to so many agencies represented here today,
00:56:26.180 but really the Department of War's effort was phenomenal.

00:57:25.680 Two, it takes restoring a spirit, which you have done.

00:57:29.860 And not just an investment, but a generational investment.
00:57:32.220 And I think people miss that.
00:57:34.060 The courage it takes to seal the border,
00:57:35.760 to say we're going to do it and we're going to do it
00:57:37.200 every single day, and we're going to do it on behalf

00:57:45.320 and wonder why they're not involved in this conflict.
00:57:47.260 The Houthis, even though they're a proxy of Iran,

00:57:51.060 for 45 days, and you had the courage
00:57:53.240 to do that. Courage to do
00:57:55.300 midnight hammering and conclude the 12-day war 0.83
00:57:57.280 by obliterating their nuclear sites.
00:57:59.180 Something no one, other presidents
00:58:01.160 had the option on their table to do,
00:58:03.160 but they never pulled the trigger because of the
00:58:05.060 complications, because of the challenges, because of
00:58:07.060 the risk, courage.
00:58:09.120 The courage to take on cartels and drugs, drug votes, and now forming the ACCC, America's
00:58:14.700 counter-cartel coalition, with all those friendly governments that Marco talked about who want
00:58:18.860 to be shoulder-to-shoulder, not just with America, but with a bold, strong America with
00:58:23.840 clear leadership.
00:58:25.700 The courage to go get Maduro in the most dangerous, most heavily guarded house, inside the most
00:58:31.480 heavily guarded fort, inside the most heavily guarded town in their capital city in the
00:58:35.480 middle of the night and change the entire dynamic of that country and that region and the world saw
00:58:40.760 what the American military was capable to do. But that doesn't happen unless the commander-in-chief
00:58:45.000 says you're authorized to do it and will take the handcuffs off when you do it to ensure that
00:58:50.460 Americans come home. The courage to undertake epic fury and this Iranian regime and ensure they 0.96
00:58:56.640 never have a nuclear weapon to remain to your commitment. And frankly, the courage to negotiate 0.94
00:59:01.860 with people that have shown no willingness to do so
00:59:04.460 honestly, with incredible negotiators
00:59:06.640 who are the best in the world, and give them
00:59:08.440 every opportunity to do it, give
00:59:10.460 those things up peacefully. All of that takes

00:59:14.580 on the back of the change in the spirit of our
00:59:16.380 department. You talk about spirit all the time
00:59:18.120 and your right to do so.
00:59:20.300 When you rip out DEI, when you
00:59:22.400 rip out social engineering and social
00:59:24.380 justice, and you put in merit,
00:59:26.760 and then you untie the hands of commanders
00:59:28.480 to be commanders, to enforce
00:59:30.300 discipline and accountability to get back to basics, then you get historic re-enlistment
00:59:35.680 inside our ranks. Our best people, Mr. President, are staying because they want to be in that
00:59:39.580 kind of department. And then historic recruitment record amongst young Americans, every month,
00:59:45.620 our department breaks records. And when did that trend line start? On election day, 2024,
00:59:51.580 when the American people said, I want to serve under this president. And that new name,
00:59:56.040 The Department of War has become the ethos, the warrior ethos of our department again.
