00:06:50.800Conversely, the Chinese Navy in 1986 was not a threat to anyone.
00:06:55.000It was a coastal Navy, had less than 200 ships from World War II era.
00:06:59.880Today, or 20 years later in 2006, which we're going to commemorate the 20th anniversary of what I call the breakout of the Chinese Navy beyond the First Island chain,
00:07:10.900A Chinese submarine on October 26, 2006 popped up four miles in the vicinity of the USS Kitty Hawk carrier that was operating east of Okinawa.
00:07:23.360That's the first time that a Chinese submarine had been that close to a U.S. Navy carrier in those waters.
00:07:29.88020 years later today, the Chinese, and at that time, the United States Navy was 59 warships greater than the Chinese Navy.
00:07:39.180Today, 20 years later, in 2026, the Chinese Navy has over 120 more warships than we do.
00:07:46.880That's a dramatic swing in just a short period of time.
00:07:50.120And it's because the Chinese Communist Party prioritizes spending money that they get on building up the Chinese Navy.
00:07:59.480And today, the Chinese Navy has three aircraft carriers with a fourth under construction.
00:08:04.820They have four expeditionary strike groups or amphibious ready groups that we call ours that they've built in the space of the last decade.
00:08:12.320The carrier force was built in the space of 15 years.
00:08:15.160They also have the highest or the greatest number of advanced anti-ship cruise missiles afloat of any Navy on the Earth with supersonic and now hypersonic anti-ship cruise missiles.
00:08:27.800Their submarine force has been growing and is going nuclear, as our Navy leadership has noted in this last year.
00:08:35.820So they have dramatically built up the Chinese Navy, the PLA Navy.
00:08:41.060And it's not just to take Taiwan, which is trained to do and is training to do in surrounding Taiwan on a daily basis.
00:08:47.820It's not just to harass our allies in the Philippines and the South China Sea to take control of the waterways of the South China Sea, which the Chinese Navy does, but it has also been designed and being designed to go around the world and operate globally.0.55
00:09:06.300And they have been doing that, expanding their naval presence into the Gulf of Aden for the last since 2008, 18 years.
00:09:15.360They've been into the Mediterranean. They've been into the Atlantic. They've been into the Baltic.
00:09:19.400I've seen their ships in the Baltic. They surround or circumnavigated Australia here in the last year and a half and conducted live fire exercises off of Sydney and disrupting their operations, flight operations.
00:09:32.060And so we are watching a Navy that's designed to be a global force.
00:09:36.880And so my advice to President Trump is this.
00:09:39.560Every deal that you make that benefits the United States may give money to the People's Republic of China and the Chinese Communist Party.
00:09:48.440And they will use that to build their military and specifically their Navy, which is designed to sink the U.S. fleet.
00:09:55.840So, President Trump, go forward and build that golden fleet.

00:10:39.660But we're going to go next to Colonel Grant Newsham, United States Marine Corps, retired, a man who served with distinction in uniform, but also as a foreign service officer in our embassy in Tokyo.

00:12:29.500shell manufacturing technology. We've turned a blind eye to everything they have done.

00:13:48.120We've taught them how to manufacture. And you can thank Boeing, General Motors, Ford, General Electric. The list goes on and on. We've effectively created this economic juggernaut that is steamrolling us. It's gotten us in a position where we depend on them for so many things.
00:14:06.900Huawei, that is entirely the creation of stolen or handed over technology, and it is a fierce rival worldwide that has really hurt us.

00:16:39.940And I'm reminded of a message I got from a young Marine captain in Afghanistan who said he wrote,

00:16:49.700You just have to stop doing things that help the Chinese and actually do things that help the United States.1.00
00:17:04.140This is extraordinarily important, especially given the emphasis that the Chinese Communist Party have been placing on capturing our elite.

00:17:15.320We're going to turn next to another 06, as they call him, Colonel Rob Mandis, United States Air
00:17:22.600Force, retired. We like to think of this as a joint effort, our Committee on the Present Danger
00:17:28.480China, and Rob Mandis is an extraordinary command pilot, commander of a bomber squadron
00:17:35.680in his time in uniform, as well as the commander of, I think, its largest air force base at
00:17:43.100Kirkland. He has been intimately involved in the fight, both in the kinetic sense and in planning,
00:17:49.960and we're extremely appreciative of his visit, with a special emphasis on the threat we are0.56
00:17:55.640facing inside the United States as a result of the Chinese Communist Party's activities here.

00:18:07.640Look, as many of my colleagues, I'm sure, have already said, I know what it looks like when the
00:18:11.920enemy brings the war to our doorstep, and worse, inside our fence line, my friend. Right now,
00:18:17.140the Chinese Communist Party is doing it without firing a shot, and they're not working alone,
00:18:22.920as Colonel Newsom just pointed out. The CCP has already penetrated our most critical infrastructure,
00:18:28.900the electrical grid. Chinese-made solar inverters, transformers, and batteries and controllers are
00:18:35.820all sitting inside the systems that keep our hospitals running, our bases powered, and our
00:18:41.660cities lit. And some of those devices have undocumented communications gear that we've
00:18:47.560discovered. They have kill switches, back doors. The Bolt typhoon style pre-positioning isn't really
00:18:54.360a theory. It's already happened to us. And they've been living inside our networks, waiting for the
00:19:00.680very moment that they choose to act, my friend. One command from Beijing, and they can black out
00:19:07.380entire regions, they can crash our communication systems, and they can freeze our ability to0.67
00:19:12.140project power from within the continental United States. And that's, I think, the most important
00:19:18.140thing that's really not being acknowledged by those in power positions that can do something
00:19:23.680about it. And it's not speculation. That's the Chinese strategy. They're buying farmland next
00:19:30.240to military bases. They're embedding in supply chains for pharmaceuticals, semiconductors,
00:19:35.960and energy. There are no civilian Chinese companies, by the way. Every one of them
00:19:40.740answers to the party and the PLA. And while we argue about green energy and they use that same
00:19:47.360movement to lock us into their hardware, energy is power, as we all know, and the American people
00:19:54.200know, and this enemy understands that too. Too many of our leaders have forgotten it, though.
00:20:01.660And then there are the biological warfare labs, not in Wuhan this time. We've discovered them0.61

00:20:47.440inside the United States. Illegal stations have been discovered in New York and dozens of other
00:20:55.000cities. And while we may have shut the one in New York down, these stations, they're not here to
00:21:01.040help tourists get new driver's licenses. They're here to hunt dissidents and intimidate Chinese1.00

00:22:27.120or something worse that could happen in Eastern Europe or beyond.
00:22:48.940And most people just don't want to admit it.
00:22:51.140The foreign terror networks are already inside the country.
00:22:53.620As you know, intelligence and law enforcement are tangled in bureaucracy, and we have a compromised court system.0.88

00:25:35.320Thank you very much for having me. It's great that you're doing this. And yes, the U.S. is in the Western Pacific, so I'm going to talk about the homeland. The U.S. is about 1,800 miles from China. If you're in Guam or in the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands, U.S. soil, American citizens, that's about the distance from Chicago to L.A.
00:25:58.120And that is America. And those Americans are on the front line of everything that you've already heard. And they are living it in a way that is incredibly disruptive societally, economically and politically.
00:26:12.140So if you want to see the future of the continental U.S., you can look at what's happening in Saipan, for example, where their political elite is consistently pushing for things like no visas for Chinese.
00:26:23.220So at this very moment, Chinese do not need a visa to land in U.S. territory, put their feet on U.S. soil if they're going to the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands, if they're going to Saipan.0.63
00:26:34.700They can get on a flight in Macau and get off onto U.S. soil in Saipan without a visa.0.77
00:26:41.860That's currently the situation right now.
00:26:43.780And the woman that represents the Commonwealth of Northern Marian Islands in the U.S. Congress is pushing for that to continue.
00:26:50.380And not only that, she's also pushing for unlimited direct flights from mainland China into the Commonwealth of Northern Marian Islands and Guam.
00:26:59.500So this is the degree of Chinese influence within U.S. society is on full display in places like Saipan in the Commonwealth of North America Islands.
00:27:10.080And that Chinese influence has resulted in things like the woman who ran the Bureau of Motor Vehicles in Saipan being convicted of selling U.S. driver's licenses to Chinese nationals, a casino being set up in Saipan that was running 5.3 billion U.S. dollars worth of bets in less than three months when it was first set up, almost entirely from Chinese.0.95
00:27:36.060They're not supposed to leave the Commonwealth of Northern American Islands when they come in, these Chinese without a visa, but they're illegally going to Guam right next door.0.67
00:27:44.280Whereas Colonel Maness was talking about in terms of cyber, that cyber, that infiltration by Volt Typhoon is all throughout their critical infrastructure.0.99
00:27:54.220And this, of course, ties directly back to what China wants to do with Taiwan.
00:27:58.940If China is going to invade Taiwan, it needs to make sure that America cannot retaliate from U.S. soil.

00:34:01.220Xi Jinping's visit is a perfect time to reflect on the fundamental fact that we've been at war
00:34:07.020with communism since 1917. The United States has been engaged in a long war, a hundred years war
00:34:14.480against communism and specifically against the Chinese Communist Party since it came to power
00:34:20.440in 1949. In 1949, the Chinese Communist Party declared a people's war against the United States,
00:34:28.960segueing immediately into the Korean War from 1950 to 1953, in which 36,000 Americans were killed
00:34:36.540in that horrific conflict. More recently, in 2019, the communist dictator Xi Jinping
00:34:44.380declared, again, people's war against the United States. You cannot ignore the ideological dimension
00:34:52.120to this visit. We have with Xi Jinping, a communist dictator, sitting down with President Trump
00:34:59.740to review, of course, a variety of issues, most importantly, AI, trade, etc., and other topics,
00:35:08.400of course, which my colleagues will address. But this is a clash of ideologies. This is an
00:35:14.140ideological conflict between the United States, still the leader of the free world under President
00:35:20.340Trump and communist dictatorship under Xi Jinping. So two paths are illuminated before us.
00:35:28.180The world that Xi Jinping seeks to create, a world of the dominance of the People's Republic
00:35:34.020of China and the ideology of communism versus the free world led by President Trump and the
00:35:41.980United States allies. Given that choice, there should be no compromise whatsoever with Xi Jinping.
00:35:48.960It is he who declared people's war against the United States.
00:35:52.720It is he who's unleashed conflict in every realm, whether it's economic, diplomacy, if it's sports, space exploration, etc.
00:36:03.900In all measures short of actual kinetic conflict, Xi Jinping is aggressing against the United States in his effort to bring about a communist victory for the People's Republic of China.
00:36:16.480President Trump thus far has been firm in stopping and arresting Xi Jinping's advance, but we worry, of course, that AI becomes an area where cooperation is routed, where cooperation or the failed engagement policy that the United States has waged since the early 1990s resurrects itself to continue, again, United States' aid and support for communist China.
00:36:48.760It's a clash of ideologies and must be seen as such, a clash between two worldviews.
00:36:55.260And it's not about, if you will, lesser issues, however significant they may be.

00:37:41.080Let me turn next to a man who has just recently emerged from service to his country in the Trump administration, where he had the role of a senior advisor, I believe, to Tom Homan in his area of particular expertise, immigration and both interior and border enforcement.
00:38:05.220His name is Todd Bensman. He is now with the Heritage Foundation. He is the author most recently of Overrun, about Joe Biden's open border policies. We've asked him to talk about a particularly unnerving problem, which is the advantage that the Chinese Communist Party's, well, it appears People's Liberation Army took of those open borders during the Biden years to insinuate large numbers of soldiers into our country.

00:40:48.020getting close to people who have information about our national security. When I went into
00:40:54.360the government, I wanted to do something about this. But first, I had to decide whether, you
00:41:01.520know, it was whether we were doing something already had to determine whether that was
00:41:05.680happening. And I'll tell you that we had not gotten to it yet. I can't say too much more
00:41:13.180about that, but I did propose that we start to do something about those 90,000 to vet them,
00:41:21.780to track them down, to vet them. I've since left, so I couldn't tell you whether any of those
00:41:29.600efforts have started up. But the fact that it was already a year, a year and a half, two years into
00:41:35.320the administration, and nobody had thought to go try to track those people down and vet them
00:41:42.820is very disturbing, was disturbing to me at that point, and it still is now.
00:41:48.120What would those people be doing in here other than maybe to just work? Some of them undoubtedly
00:41:54.060are just working here. But there are Chinese dissidents here. There are Americans
00:41:59.800that are opposed to the PRC that are working, like the people in this crowd, that could be
00:42:09.840oppressed, surveilled. There could be influence operations, cyber attack preparation,
00:42:20.460multitude of problems that they could cause while they're in here. We have not yet caught any spies
00:42:28.440that came in over the border. But I do believe at some point in the near future, or the medium
00:42:35.880in the future, we will start to find some of them, that they did send some of these people in here
00:42:41.300to spy on us and to conduct pre-war operations. So I guess the takeaway here is don't forget the
00:42:54.40090,000. People forget all too quickly that they came in in the biggest numbers ever just over
00:43:03.460the border and would again have given an opportunity. That border is closed now. For the
00:43:09.540most part, people are still sneaking in, but in far smaller numbers. But a Democrat in January of
00:43:17.2202020, 2029 could easily bring the whole thing back. Todd Benzman, thank you so much. This is

00:43:31.880the accountability part of this summit. We're going to turn next to a man who has done a
00:43:39.840marvelous job of educating the American people and, well, people worldwide about the threat we0.92
00:43:45.380face from the Chinese Communist Party on a podcast called China Uncensored. His name is Chris Chaffel.
00:43:52.480We're delighted to have him with us to talk about the CCP, the need to remove it from power,
00:43:59.260and how that might be done given its vulnerabilities.
00:44:02.840Chris, thank you so much for finding some time.
00:44:21.220is going to meet Xi Jinping on the tarmac,
00:44:24.200which is something Xi Jinping did not do for him.
00:44:27.140So there's a concern that China hawks are being sidelined in the administration, that Trump is giving Xi a little too much face.
00:44:35.200But I think what a lot of people are missing is that just today, the schedule for Trump's meeting at the UN was put out, and so many of the meetings are about China.
00:44:48.760So the idea that the administration is kind of going soft on China, it just doesn't really hold up based on that.
00:44:55.740There's just so much concern over the visuals of it.
00:44:59.300I mean, Trump, for however he makes decisions, I don't understand.
00:45:03.240I don't I'm not privy to how he makes decisions, but he seems to favor a stick and carrot with China.
00:45:10.060So on the surface, he'll talk about Xi Jinping being his great friend, how they get along.
00:45:13.760They have a great relationship. We'll see more of that tomorrow.
00:45:18.120But, you know, behind the scenes, he's still doing a lot against the Chinese Communist Party.
00:45:22.360I wish he would be more vocal about the CCP itself.
00:45:27.400I know he talks frequently about how communism is the greatest threat to America, but at
00:45:35.320least in his public-facing dialogue, he doesn't really connect that same communism to the
00:45:44.200So we'll see what comes out of the meeting, but I don't imagine it'll be much.
00:45:47.980I think it will be just a lot of the same usual optics.
00:45:51.540And then you have to pay attention to what the administration actually does afterwards.
00:45:59.120Could you just speak for a quick minute about the vulnerabilities that the Chinese Communist Party has, set aside the president's intentions at the moment?
00:46:09.160Is it an option to help free the Lao Bajang, in your estimation, Chris?
00:46:15.800Well, that's interesting. Marco Rubio is kind of talking about that. There is messaging, again, coming out from the administration that there needs to be a free China. The CCP definitely has a lot of vulnerabilities. I think the best thing the U.S. could do would be to just expose what I'm sure our intelligence agencies know about the corruption within the Chinese Communist Party.
00:46:37.560Because any attack the U.S. does on China, be it economic or militarily, the CCP can spin that as how it always does, you know, foreign aggressors attacking the Chinese people, they need the CCP to survive.
00:46:55.520But if the US government actively exposes the corruption within the Chinese Communist Party, then the Chinese people see that their real enemy is the CCP itself. And I think that's a message that a lot of people in China are very receptive to right now.
00:47:10.840There's a very important ex-account called Teacher Li. It's in Chinese, but they have the auto-translate now. And he documents what's happening on Chinese social media. And I remember him recently saying to the New York Times, I believe, that back in 2022, if there was somebody criticizing Xi Jinping on Chinese social media, he would have done a post about it because it was such a shocking thing for somebody to actually do that.
00:47:35.520And he says now it just is happening so much, he doesn't even bother. So there's tremendous social unrest within China, especially among, I believe, the young people who, you know, they have no future for them. There are no jobs, there are no families for them to have.
00:47:54.360There was a video that went viral about how to survive as a homeless person that really responded, resonated with Chinese young people.
00:48:05.100So they know the system isn't serving them.
00:48:07.620And that's very dangerous for the Chinese Communist Party because a lot of their criticisms are becoming political.
00:48:15.880And the last time young people got really political in their complaints was 1989 and the Tiananmen Square Massacre.
00:48:24.360Thank you very much, Chris. This is, again, a question of opportunities that must be seized and why we are pressing the administration to examine whether what is needed now is more accommodation or accountability and corrective action.
00:48:47.200To close us out, I'm going to turn next to John Lanchowski, a man who distinguished himself particularly in the service to our country during the Reagan administration, when he played a very important role in bringing down the evil empire as the senior director for European and Soviet affairs in the National Security Council.
00:49:10.560He has gone on to great accomplishments subsequently as the founder, the former president, and
00:49:19.020now the chancellor of a remarkable educational institution in Washington, D.C., the Institute
00:51:40.860but then influencing us and psychologically disarming us,
00:51:45.400which is the prelude to physical disarmament.
00:51:51.120And we have physically disarmed ourselves
00:51:53.380over the last couple of decades to an amazing degree,
00:51:57.140to the extent that we no longer have the same level
00:52:02.820of credible deterrence that we once had.
00:52:05.820We have to move away simply from a materialistic
00:52:09.800understanding of foreign and national security policy
00:52:14.260to recognize that these non-material, non-kinetic instruments of conflict are central to the hybrid war that China is conducting against us.
00:52:27.440One thing that we're not doing at all, we've begun to slowly get our armed forces back.
00:52:34.520We're beginning to do some technology security, but it's only a tiny bit right now, considering the number of the massive Chinese penetration of our country, tens and tens of thousands of Chinese intelligence collectors in this country.
00:52:55.600What are we doing offensively? Virtually nothing. And what needs to be done is we need to re-enter the battle for the mind. They call it cognitive warfare these days. It could be called information warfare.
00:53:12.080These are subsets of political and ideological warfare, which we do not do.
00:53:18.720And all of those are related to psychological strategy, which is absolutely essential in our efforts to try to defend ourselves and defeat the Chinese Communist Party.0.65
00:53:35.280In any war, including the non-kinetic elements of war.
