Bannon's War Room - WarRoom Battleground EP 125： Extraction Under Fire： 1 Year Later; England Plans To Freeze This Winter As Energy Prices Skyrocket

00:00:00.000 this is what you're fighting for i mean every day you're out there what they're doing is blowing

00:00:15.540 people off if you continue to look the other way and shut up then the oppressors the

00:00:22.540 authoritarians get total control and total power because this is just like in arizona this is just

00:00:28.440 like in georgia it's another element that backs them into a quarter and shows their lies and

00:00:33.180 misrepresentations is why this audience is going to have to get engaged as we've told you this is

00:00:37.460 the fight all this nonsense all this spin they can't handle the truth war room battleground here's

00:00:44.520 your host stephen k bannon real ways to help americans get safely to kabul airport and get out

00:00:51.940 of the country but the reality is this is the taliban no matter what they're saying you know 0.99

00:00:57.900 about changing their ways and they're going to allow afghans to live safely and they're going 0.99

00:01:01.380 to allow women with more rights whatever it is they're saying we're going to have to see how they 1.00

00:01:05.260 actually what they actually do and they're the defense officials who i'm speaking to do not have

00:01:09.580 a lot of confidence that they have changed their ways and this is going to be some new version of

00:01:12.960 the taliban but right now we're one reason that we're not hearing a lot of criticism for them and

00:01:18.340 we probably won't hear any criticism of the taliban for specifically from the defense department before

00:01:23.740 the u.s is completely out and that is because they are helping them and they don't the the military

00:01:28.440 the pentagon they don't want to do anything to tip that balance so that the taliban would no longer

00:01:33.340 help americans you know as jeff mentioned there are still a lot of americans who are trying to get

00:01:37.560 out and the u.s is also trying to help afghans if they can to get out so uh in the meantime they are

00:01:44.380 working with the taliban and hope that at the end of the day some credence is going to have to be given

00:01:50.160 to the taliban to make sure that they protect our our troops uh what's been demonstrated today is

00:01:57.160 that they can't do it uh they're certainly not going to be able to guarantee safety now the taliban 0.52

00:02:03.560 would surely like to have us out as quickly as possible uh they also need money uh there's an

00:02:11.020 argument and we would like to have a little bit more time to make sure that we get as many people

00:02:14.380 out as we possibly can there's an argument that says that there is a deal here for like

00:02:19.880 andrea says maybe an extension of a couple of days to make sure that we get as many people out as we

00:02:25.000 possibly can um and the exchange is uh the taliban gets some of the money or all the money that's

00:02:33.740 currently locked up and sequestered by by by western uh financial institutions whether or not that's

00:02:41.900 actually going to happen remains to be seen but at the end of the day some americans got to turn the

00:02:48.700 lights out on the american presence there and that's going to be the most dangerous time i know

00:02:53.720 it sounds like though we're having to pay a ransom to the taliban right i mean that that's what that 0.86

00:02:57.700 sounds like and and and it's an uncomfortable position for any american president is is no i think

00:03:03.740 we've already no matter what you're trying to do we've already paid a ransom to them in agreeing that

00:03:09.280 31 august is the date uh they will give us safe patches until 31 august and that was the deal as

00:03:15.760 originally i think the dangerous part of this is is just like colonel jacobs was saying is

00:03:20.200 as we get a smaller footprint the attack pattern gets more intense and what we're seeing right now

00:03:27.160 is kabul is the equivalent of a mogadishu or uh baghdad uh circa kind of 2004 where yeah the taliban

00:03:34.920 have so-called taken over the country but they do not control the country there are tons of different

00:03:40.420 factions operating in and outside of kabul right now constant contact with the taliban working to

00:03:46.400 ensure civilians have safe passage to the airport we are particularly focused on our engagements on

00:03:52.440 making sure every american who wants to leave can get to the airport where we have been seeing

00:04:00.540 challenges with americans for for americans we have thus far been able to resolve them we've been

00:04:06.480 able we've made look and we we we made clear to the taliban that any attack any attack on our forces

00:04:14.360 or disruption of our operations at the airport will be met with swift and forceful response

00:04:20.260 we're also keeping a close watch on any potential terrorist threat at or around the airport

00:04:26.960 including from the isis affiliates in afghanistan who were released from prison when the prisons were

00:04:33.800 emptied and because they are by the way and make everybody understand that the the isis in afghanistan

00:04:42.000 are this have been the sworn enemy of the taliban i've said all along we're going to retain a laser 0.64

00:04:49.180 focus on our counterterrorism mission working in close coordination with our allies and our partners

00:04:55.280 and all those who have an interest in ensuring stability in the

00:04:59.360 okay uh look at that we're here to commemorate for much of the show the uh 13 american heroes that

00:05:08.500 died at the abbey gate massacre we do want to tee it up with that the lies and misrepresentations

00:05:12.920 i've got uh jason jones who's been did incredible work in afghanistan at the time and also has been part

00:05:20.360 of the vulnerable persons project to support uh christian families in afghanistan since then i've

00:05:26.240 also got frank gafflinger go through all this and frank's going to give us some of his uh first

00:05:32.040 thoughts on this horrific uh the affidavit this joke that was put out today about the ransacking and

00:05:38.080 raid in mar-a-lago let's go to jason jones first jason thank you for joining us by phone really

00:05:42.100 appreciate it i talked to you we just played it right there so you and frank could refresh your

00:05:47.220 memories of the lies and misrepresentations the incompetence uh and i mean almost people some people

00:05:53.020 argued hey they almost had to be in cahoots with the ccp and the taliban because this was so horrific 1.00

00:05:58.800 it's a year ago today that the 13 heroes died we just played all the t up for that of of how they

00:06:06.020 jammed these guys up by agreeing to the 31st and and they had this kind of cocky arrogance

00:06:10.660 it was all going to go fine jason jones tell us about that time uh you were there you were on the

00:06:15.820 show all the time you had direct contact with in afghanistan and helping people get out

00:06:19.700 what happened well see first of all you know the vulnerable people project is still in afghanistan

00:06:25.060 we evacuated people this week we have never left we're caring for the widows and orphans of our

00:06:29.500 of our of our afghan partners who who were murdered because of our ham-fisted abandonment of the people 1.00

00:06:35.800 of afghanistan um so we haven't left and the u.s government turned the lights out in afghanistan but

00:06:41.000 we're keeping the light on you know listening to that clip that you just played is infuriating

00:06:45.360 especially in light of what we've just been revealed in the past 24 hours that the cia had

00:06:49.400 eyes on the terrorists uh that detonated the bomb that killed 12 marines in a navy quorum and 170

00:06:55.280 afghans were killed and thousands were injured and as you know i was on your show then and thank god for

00:07:01.060 steve bannon and the war room posse i was on your show at the time showing footage of the hell that

00:07:06.260 was outside of the uh gates of the airport but now we know the cia had eyes on him told the marines to

00:07:12.440 stand down just to pay attention but not to engage um the terrorists who then detonated a bomb and killed

00:07:18.260 uh those 13 american service personnel no it's it's really unbelievable jason jason jason hang on

00:07:24.840 hang on slow down for a second i want that story broke in the new york post today just get people up

00:07:29.180 to speed on exactly what you're talking about because it's another blockbuster and clearly

00:07:32.260 they waited until the first year anniversary to break this story but we now know if you see this

00:07:38.920 what we just played understand the cia knew about it debrief people and said that the gates to the

00:07:46.620 airport particularly the abbey gate wasn't going to be a central problem is this am i summing up

00:07:51.240 correctly what the cia briefing was to the to the military intelligence and to the military folks

00:07:55.840 yeah that was the briefing and not to engage the terrorists and steve i was a bit nervous because

00:08:01.800 i've been saying in the media that we were warned on august 25th to remove our people from abbey

00:08:07.880 gate that there is a terrorist attack it's imminent and i i you know i was didn't want to say that out

00:08:12.960 loud because how did you know we were warned from our people in the military get your folks away from

00:08:19.020 abbey gate uh in the hours leading up to the attack and now we know the cia had eyes on the actual

00:08:25.180 terrorists the date that hit this bomb and i wonder you know biden says that thing i've always been this

00:08:31.460 i've always said that i've always said this he said on july 6th of last year that afghanistan will

00:08:37.920 never fall but we now know we now know that u.s special forces were doing joint patrols with the

00:08:45.900 taliban in early of july of last year we now know uh well we knew then we knew in early july of last

00:08:51.500 year that 85 percent of afghanistan 85 percent of the districts had already fallen to the taliban so

00:08:57.820 when biden said that in early july he knew so what happened american citizens in afghanistan didn't

00:09:05.040 leave the country and we were evacuating u.s citizens until christmas of last year that the u.s 0.78

00:09:12.440 government claimed did not exist and we got our last afghan uh an american we got our last american

00:09:18.540 citizen out of afghanistan around christmas of last year so how many american citizens died

00:09:24.100 because they listened to the president of the united states they trusted the president united

00:09:28.600 states that afghanistan wouldn't fall when 85 percent of the districts had already fallen

00:09:33.440 and jason hang on for one second i know hang hang on i know you're by phone just hang on for a second

00:09:40.420 i want to bring you frank gaffney for more context we're gonna come right back to you frank

00:09:44.500 i know your blood's boiling because you you of all the specialists in in radical jihad which you've

00:09:51.360 kind of dedicated the last 30 years of your life on i know your blood has to be boiling when we play

00:09:56.080 that cold open of all the lies and misrepresentations were told to the american people but particularly

00:10:00.680 now as jason says it's obvious the cia knew about the the groups they were monitoring the military's

00:10:07.860 it was a brief not to not to really play hardball at those gates and what we have we have 13 dead

00:10:14.200 marines american heroes that died in that massacre frank gaffney

00:10:18.320 the thing that does make the blood boil steven you're right mine is uh is that the way this is

00:10:28.880 perceived by all of our enemies but most especially by those that are sharia supremacists

00:10:36.860 is as submission whether it's the lies of the president or whether it is the complicity of

00:10:44.820 our intelligence agencies or whether it is the extent to which in the aftermath of uh you know

00:10:52.420 the kind of horrors that you've just chronicled we left 83 billion dollars of military equipment

00:10:59.420 very advanced military equipment a lot of it behind uh and and that we're now contemplating

00:11:05.220 apparently giving them billions of dollars more uh they're frozen reserves to be sure but still

00:11:12.180 to terrorists terrorists who now make no secret of their further intensified determination

00:11:20.260 to do what sharia the islamic doctrine that impels them to engage in jihad tells them it is 0.88

00:11:29.360 the ultimate endgame of it which is their dominance of the world

00:11:33.740 that's what i want this because people say this shows incompetence this shows weakness

00:11:40.320 this shows you know all sorts of things about how they extracted how they did this extraction under

00:11:46.660 fire you take it up another level you say for the supremacist the sharia supremacist

00:11:52.620 it shows you that we're actually not just weak but prepared to submit to their uh to their order

00:12:00.060 which is essentially what happened on this extraction am i am i stating that correctly

00:12:04.800 you got it exactly right steve and and uh in accordance with sharia that kind of behavior

00:12:11.920 on the part particularly of the infidels and especially powerful infidels 1.00

00:12:18.180 simply again obliges those who adhere to this doctrine to redouble their efforts so i had a chance

00:12:27.360 to talk with our colleague sam fattis about this today and he of course spent uh much of his

00:12:32.160 20 years undercover in the central intelligence agency fighting these guys uh mostly in pakistan

00:12:38.920 and he says this is now a terrorist super state that is armed that is that is financed uh it has money

00:12:49.460 to be sure it's not getting to the people they're starving and all the rest of it but

00:12:53.020 these are people who are now further disposed further determined further capable of waging

00:13:01.060 jihad against us and the worst of it in a way is it's not just over there steve as i think we talked

00:13:07.900 about a bit yesterday by some estimates there are a very large percentage of between 70 and a hundred

00:13:16.180 thousand people who have been put into this country instead of the fellas and and gals that 1.00

00:13:24.140 jason was trying to help and who were supposed to be on those planes who we don't know the exact

00:13:30.280 background of but many of them the majority are military age young men and probably taliban no

00:13:37.420 uh frank hangar for one second let me bring in jason sorry yeah jason i'm going to get you back on to

00:13:45.540 talk about the vulnerable people project at another time but but i got to have you tell the audience

00:13:50.260 people of authorities in this government at the highest level looked into the camera and said we

00:13:57.660 have on multiple occasions said we have all the americans out and you just told me that uh you guys

00:14:04.360 are still extracting american citizens all the way up to christmas which was three or four months

00:14:08.720 later so what's the truth did the biden regime do what they said they were going to do and promise

00:14:14.780 the american people were all the american citizens out or were there still american citizens left

00:14:19.540 well cia director burns i think it's being reported in the press but i know from trusted sources

00:14:25.500 uh it's been pressuring the white house to make right we have 18 000 sivs in the pipeline

00:14:31.840 that state department is fighting for that we know of but there are 150 000 other sivs those are

00:14:38.300 afghans who are being hunted by the taliban because they fought shoulder to shoulder with us

00:14:42.300 those are the afghans who you saw hanging from lampposts you heard about being set on fire 1.00

00:14:47.340 and beheaded no they lied about americans they lied about our afghan partners our brothers you and

00:14:54.100 i are veterans steve you know as an infantryman as a ranger the ranger creed is never will i abandon

00:14:58.680 whenever i leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy and never under any

00:15:03.300 circumstances will i embarrass my country uh well biden embarrassed us he abandoned our cohorts he

00:15:09.880 abandoned american citizens most of those american citizens were afghans who earned their citizenship 0.98

00:15:15.160 to blood to fighting the most vicious terrorists in the world one of the americans that we rescued was

00:15:21.180 walked to the airport 15 times 15 times sent back and the taliban each time he had to walk through

00:15:28.640 multiple checkpoints and was asked but he had to show his american passport and this was the guy that

00:15:34.940 took us till almost christmas to get back home he's a business owner in san diego he was there to try

00:15:40.100 to get his wife's visa process faster when the country fell around him and was walked to his death

00:15:47.340 every veterans organization every organization like mine that was working to rescue afghans was

00:15:53.220 asked by the state department to submit our excel files to them we did that this has been reported

00:15:58.800 they took our data that i personally put in hundreds and hundreds of names and that was all handed over

00:16:05.100 to the taliban and we know that at best 10 percent of the folks on those lists made it out of the

00:16:11.320 country how many of them were executed how many widows and orphans did the biden administration

00:16:16.480 create so there is no doubt that biden lied he wasn't mistaken he lied every single step of the

00:16:25.040 way and those lies cost countless lives those lies cost countless lives and to i want to go back to

00:16:32.600 frank's point about the wrong people coming here governor salima mazari was in bbc's top women of the year

00:16:38.280 in 2021 the first female governor of the hazara people she personally killed over 200 taliban as a

00:16:45.580 sniper she was an anti-taliban commander has been trying to kick down the door of the fbi i know 0.93

00:16:51.080 they're watching your show uh so i'm hoping they go talk to her she saw haqqani network and taliban on

00:16:58.960 her plane she knew who they were they were on the plane she went on the plane and challenged them 0.99

00:17:05.120 why are you going to america and they said to spread jihad and it breaks my heart because not only are

00:17:11.860 they going to hurt our countrymen but then what's going to happen is we're going to we're going to

00:17:16.380 seal the door and weld it shut to those afghans that earned the right to be americans and their 1.00

00:17:23.540 children to earn the right um to be in this country and they've been abandoned and they brought in very 0.97

00:17:30.960 bad people here they brought in some of the good people they brought in some of the heroes they brought

00:17:35.740 in some of our friends but they let in enemies of the afghan people and enemies of the american people 0.99

00:17:42.200 uh jason how did uh how do they get to you on the vulnerable people's project people want to find

00:17:48.860 out more about it or maybe want to donate where do they go for information i thank you steve our website

00:17:53.640 is the great campaign.org the great campaign.org we're caring for the widows and orphans of those afghans

00:17:59.660 who died fighting the taliban and isis we uh and we're evacuating and rescuing and resettling afghans 1.00

00:18:05.320 every single week we have never stopped and we will not stop until every afghan ally is safe and

00:18:11.060 we're resettling them in countries all over the world and we will never leave them

00:18:14.540 it's a great by the way jason jones does not jason jones does not get enough shout outs for christians

00:18:23.200 in the toughest places in the world and persecution jason jones and his organization are there

00:18:27.780 to help them out so jason thank you very honored to have you on the show today

00:18:31.460 thank you uh steve for sharing your your posse with us and they're the hope of a country and

00:18:36.600 you're the hope of the world thank you thanks brother uh frank uh before here's what i don't get

00:18:43.300 frank you just hear that from jason jones about the woman who was one of the commanders the anti

00:18:49.680 taliban commanders she's on a plane she's pointing out these are haqqani network there's not a worse 0.90

00:18:56.080 group in the world than the haqqani network to our allies in india and other places she's pointing

00:19:01.440 and that's what sam fatt has fought his entire life she's pointing out guys in the plane on the

00:19:06.120 haqqani network that we're bringing to the united states and yet the fbi can't sort this out the the

00:19:12.480 state department and cia can't sort this out yet today you see they just kick down the doors of

00:19:18.460 mar-a-lago and they ransack and raid a place and won't and the just part doesn't have the guts to put

00:19:23.420 forward what the affidavit was and obviously it goes back to cross this is all going to go back

00:19:28.740 to crossfire hurricane so frank you've dedicated your life uh as a professional at the defense

00:19:35.940 department in other places i mean how does this feel to you today on the anniversary to know of

00:19:41.840 how many jihadists we let in the country when they were warned by people that had fought with us

00:19:47.620 and you see what's happened today uh down at this federal courthouse in uh in palm beach about this

00:19:53.500 this ransacking of mar-a-lago sir

00:19:57.020 well just to pick up on the first point um i've met this governor she's a very impressive woman i mean 0.97

00:20:06.200 she was she was teaching women to fight the taliban and did a lot of it herself as uh jason has said

00:20:13.080 but the interesting thing is it wasn't just she saw taliban and haqqani on the plane she saw them all

00:20:21.600 over the staging bases from which they were then moved into the united states even larger numbers than

00:20:29.020 that particular plane full she is terrified that these people are here and are going to do exactly

00:20:37.160 what they told her they were going to do which is wage jihad and the trouble is of course they're not

00:20:44.080 the only ones uh you don't document every single day the numbers that are coming across our border

00:20:50.160 um again people we have no idea who they are but we have reason to believe especially

00:20:56.300 that huge cohort of military age unaccompanied men are coming here to do us harm and and you ask 1.00

00:21:06.320 let's talk about the fbi steve before we get to mar-a-lago the fbi has done as best i can tell

00:21:13.740 nothing nada zero to prevent these kinds of people whether they're haqqani or taliban or 1.00

00:21:24.400 jihadists of other stripes or for that matter chinese or just drug cartels from disseminating

00:21:32.600 themselves all over america now at some point somebody's going to tell them to light this place

00:21:40.180 up and we have no idea remember what 19 people did 19 sharia supremacists did on 9-11 we're talking

00:21:49.040 about tens of thousands of people maybe more maybe considerably more what could they do to our country

00:21:56.340 from within to say nothing from without and as to the mar-a-lago business i i have to tell you as i

00:22:03.380 looked at that affidavit and the black redactions for page after page after page and it made me want

00:22:13.160 to vomit i have to tell you this this is evidence of a rot inside our country that has now so thoroughly

00:22:22.600 penetrated the uh power ministries as they would be called in totalitarian regimes the the law

00:22:30.140 enforcement federal bureaucracy as well as leadership i'm afraid of the fbi the justice department the

00:22:38.580 intelligence community the department of homeland security the u.s military the irs i mean look we are

00:22:47.440 in perilous straits and the evidence is just going to continue to accumulate i pray to god we have a

00:22:55.160 chance to change the trajectory of this country this coming election but i'm not sanguine i must tell you

00:23:03.420 that there will be an election given what these guys are doing and the lengths to which they're going

00:23:09.180 to suppress us and to keep their trajectory of fundamentally transforming this country

00:23:16.420 into something unrecognizable and horrifying to people who love our constitution and their freedoms

00:30:12.040 Okay, welcome back.

00:30:15.980 This is our commemoration of the one-year anniversary of the 13 heroes who gave their life for their country at the Abbey Gate in Cabo Airport.

00:30:23.980 But also another travesty today, really another humiliation on the world stage in a federal court.

00:30:31.500 The magistrate released, I don't even know what you would call it.

00:30:35.300 It was so embarrassing, this redacted version.

00:30:37.040 I want to bring in Pete Hernandez.

00:30:38.620 He's running for Congress out in California, 18.

00:30:40.820 He wrote an incredible piece about the weaponization of DOJ and the FBI.

00:30:45.480 Pete, walk me through what you wrote this great piece.

00:30:50.020 We're going to have you on.

00:30:50.980 And then we see this thing put out today, which is just a farce.

00:30:54.920 I mean, on the world stage, on the anniversary of our humiliation in Afghanistan, you heard Frank Gaffney says the Sharia supremacists look like, you know, the United States is submitting.

00:31:06.820 Then we're supposed to be run by the rule of law.

00:31:09.060 And you saw this redacted version.

00:31:10.840 I don't even know why the magistrate put it out.

00:31:12.440 I have no idea why he released this.

00:31:14.820 Pete Hernandez.

00:31:16.860 Thank you, Steve, for having me.

00:31:18.680 Thank you to the War Room Posse.

00:31:20.820 Pete, so it's an insult to the intelligence of the public.

00:31:25.880 And I think they're very much dependent on the disengagement and the lack of understanding of our constitutional authority.

00:31:32.240 It's very much anti the rule of law.

00:31:34.660 People don't realize you break up the rule of law, you destroy ultimately that trust, that main fiber that unifies our nation.

00:31:41.220 If you don't have equality under the law, then all you're doing is impending on dividing our nation.

00:31:46.400 And that's what's happening today.

00:31:47.540 Pete, people ask me the question all the time, you know, because I spent many years in California, absolutely love California.

00:31:57.360 But it's changed so radically is there are folks in California or are they dialing into this type of news that they understand these intense battles are going on politically.

00:32:07.080 Back in Washington, D.C. and in federal courts, down in places like Palm Beach and even even this populist revolt you've seen in Arizona, led by Blake Masters and Carrie Lake and Mark Fincham.

00:32:18.400 Are folks in California attuned to this?

00:32:22.220 Do they understand what's going on in the stakes of that?

00:32:25.280 You know, the republic's in the balance.

00:32:27.540 They're definitely understanding that the republic is in a balance.

00:32:33.520 They don't understand necessarily the why, right?

00:32:36.900 There's a lack of understanding of how these processes happen.

00:32:40.080 But they definitely see the division.

00:32:41.960 They see the breakdown of our communities.

00:32:44.000 And they just see the conflicting information that comes across and ultimately creates a disengaged sentiment.

00:32:49.720 But I would say that frustration is definitely pushing them in a direction to pay attention to a candidate like me whose goal is to educate, to engage, and ultimately to revive the populist movement and restore ultimately the constitutional order of our country.

00:33:07.340 So we talk about the populist movement, we talk about the constitutional order.

00:33:10.460 You're saying you're running for Congress to do this.

00:33:12.600 Because what the rest of the nation sees is Gavin Newsom has a very different philosophy of government than MAGA.

00:33:20.720 You know, Biden was there yesterday saying we're nothing but fascist.

00:33:23.840 This is the end of the Republican Party because you have the worst elements that, you know, the MAGA and ultra MAGA have taken over the Republican Party.

00:33:30.500 Yet you have Gavin Newsom every day coming out with another policy decision.

00:33:34.060 And he's clearly running.

00:33:35.740 He's already running in 2024 to be the Democratic nominee.

00:33:39.140 Is there a real shot for the populist movement?

00:33:43.120 Is there a real shot for MAGA and the Republican Party to really stand up and make a stand against Gavin Newsom?

00:33:49.300 American first policies are extremely popular.

00:33:52.300 At the local level, all it means is local control.

00:33:55.060 It means we actually have, you know, autonomy and discretion and decision making.

00:33:59.600 And then we actually have a voice.

00:34:00.780 I would say the foolishness of the Gavin Newsoms of the world are the ones that are basically assuming that the public is going to be okay with the breakdown of our local communities.

00:34:11.700 And they pretty much put out policies that, again, create disengagement.

00:34:17.700 But that, by default, is creating this sentiment to understand.

00:34:21.020 I'm seeing it at the local level.

00:34:22.320 There's CRAs being established, local organizations that are saying, what do we do about it?

00:34:27.060 There's the parents movement.

00:34:28.420 I was just endorsed by the California Parents United.

00:34:31.580 And I would say the strongest reality is the sounding board that the Gavin Newsoms of the world depend on is silence, right?

00:34:37.560 They'd rather have silence or frustration and disengagement.

00:34:41.020 So that way you don't have that movement start to unify and grow.

00:34:44.660 But the opposite is happening.

00:34:47.140 And it's funny because even if I reflect a little bit on the time when I challenged our local public health officer as a local leader, county supervisor, the intent wasn't so much to convince my Democrat majority board.

00:34:58.340 It was to actually get the public engaged in the conversation.

00:35:02.600 So I challenged the guy, ultimately used my constitutional authority, told him I hold the power of the purse.

00:35:07.860 At the end of my statement, I basically said, if you're not willing to work with us, I'm willing to use the power of the purse to ask my board to terminate your contract.

00:35:15.660 He obviously didn't like what I had to say.

00:35:17.540 Two hours later, he quit.

00:35:19.060 So all I did is use my voice, use the authority that God gave me in the Constitution.

00:35:24.580 And again, it changed the dynamic.

00:35:26.420 Granted, I got pushback, but I expected that the outcome that I wanted was the public movement to start, the populist movement to start to engage.

00:35:34.740 And that's exactly what's happening.

00:35:37.860 Take a minute and tell us about this race.

00:35:39.560 Tell us about California 18.

00:35:41.060 Tell us about your shot to win this because we need guys like you.

00:35:43.520 Now more than ever, we need fighters like you in Congress.

00:35:47.160 So Congressional District 18, brand new district.

00:35:50.840 There's no incumbent.

00:35:51.800 I want to stress that, right?

00:35:53.180 My opponent, Zoe Lockman, she's on the January 6th committee. 1.00

00:35:56.400 Everything south of Gilroy, she doesn't know because the current district is going to expire at the end of the year.

00:36:02.200 So if you look at the new portion of the district, it's Latino, majority Latino.

00:36:05.680 It's rural, it's agricultural, it's middle class.

00:36:08.940 I'm a small business owner alongside a local county supervisor.

00:36:12.460 So I already have that understanding of our region.

00:36:16.040 I'm younger.

00:36:17.240 I'm hungrier.

00:36:17.800 I'm obviously ready to work.

00:36:19.320 She doesn't have that energy. 1.00

00:36:20.780 There's a huge opportunity.

00:36:21.880 As I talk to the Latino community, including the Democrat, which I'm literally diving right in the middle of it.

00:36:27.800 And that sentiment is getting very exciting to them because they're starting to see a person that's ready to bring them into the fold and they're ready to turn.

00:36:34.620 So Congressional District 18, large span.

00:36:37.820 It's going to basically there's a huge opportunity for us to take this back.

00:36:41.080 We've got to win this one, and you're the guy to do it.

00:36:45.160 Brother, give us your social media and also your website so people can find out more about you if they're so inclined to support you.

00:36:52.580 I'd appreciate the support.

00:36:54.040 We need money.

00:36:55.240 We definitely need to get ahead of the $2 million that she already started with, which isn't a lot, I guess, in California. 0.79

00:37:01.300 But, yeah, it's HernandezForCongress.com.

00:37:03.920 That's my website.

00:37:05.440 Everything's linked to that page, so it would be very easy to get a hold of me there.

00:37:08.800 We have our media.

00:37:09.860 Our social media is connected to it.

00:37:12.480 HernandezForCongress.com is an easy way to get a hold of me.

00:37:17.280 Thank you, brother.

00:37:17.980 You keep fighting.

00:37:18.660 We look forward to checking back in on the race in a couple of weeks.

00:37:21.380 Will do.

00:37:21.940 Please do.

00:37:22.520 Thank you, Steve.

00:37:23.140 Thank you for the time.

00:37:25.740 There's 100 seats, 100 years.

00:37:27.100 These are the seats we need.

00:37:28.040 And I've got to tell you, we've got to thwart Newsom in California now.

00:37:31.300 Can we play the Steve Cortez, Steve Bannon, Cole Open right now for Dave Walsh and Dave Bratt?

00:37:38.580 Steve, here's why I can't, unfortunately, concur with their optimism.

00:37:42.200 And Wall Street is still extremely optimistic.

00:37:44.660 But so much of that demand was based on rock-bottom interest rates, particularly housing.

00:37:49.780 Housing really has led the charge of the recovery in the United States since last spring.

00:37:54.720 But housing is going to have a very hard time with interest rates moving up as violently as they have been.

00:37:59.300 And I'm sure a lot of the audience out there, even if they watch financial markets, they probably don't watch bonds.

00:38:03.860 Bonds are considered boring and complicated.

00:38:05.920 But I would say to the audience, you know, you may not care about bonds, but bonds care about you.

00:38:10.320 They matter tremendously to your life.

00:38:12.540 And I provided a chart which shows what has happened in bond yield to bond yields since Joe Biden was elected.

00:38:18.260 Right after the election on November 3rd, bond yields bottomed, 10-year Treasury yields bottomed at about 0.7 percent.

00:38:26.140 Incredibly low, of course, by historical standards.

00:38:29.260 They had more than doubled through yesterday.

00:38:32.240 They hit a high of 1.6 percent yesterday.

00:38:35.480 That is a massive increase for 10-year Treasury rates to more than double in a period of months and in a very violent fashion.

00:38:43.560 And here's why I believe this is happening, Steve, and again, I'm very counter-Wall Street on this.

00:38:48.360 I really believe if rates were to rise slowly and steadily, that would be a good thing.

00:38:52.720 That would mean the bond market believes in growth in the United States and prices can rise.

00:38:56.760 When it rises in this fashion, in this violent way, I believe what's going on is there is a bond market revolt right now.

00:39:03.480 And with the bond market, think of the bond market almost as a bank.

00:39:06.220 And the bank is lending to the United States.

00:39:08.280 The United States is the business.

00:39:09.440 And they have for years said we're willing to lend to this business at rock.

00:39:13.240 The reason I wanted to play this is that this is from 18 months ago today.

00:39:18.320 On 26 February, the year of our Lord 2021, Steve Cortez and myself walked through in the first weeks of the illegitimate Biden regime

00:39:28.660 exactly why their policies were going to cause an explosion on, wait for it, inflation.

00:39:36.620 This was a called shot by this show, and we've been on it ever since 18 months ago today.

00:39:43.320 And this is a disgrace.

00:39:44.500 And finally, Powell stood up today.

00:39:47.480 Well, I'll let Dave Bradt talk it.

00:39:48.580 He was much more hawkish than he was.

00:39:51.420 But I want to go to Dave Walsh first.

00:39:53.040 Dave, you heard from Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

00:39:57.320 Powell come out and be quite hawkish.

00:40:00.820 In fact, he used the V word, Volker.

00:40:03.780 We'll play that clip.

00:40:04.720 Hopefully, I'll have time for it.

00:40:06.540 Is your sense that this administration, this regime is doing anything to get to the core problem of inflation

00:40:13.680 or just depending on the monetary part by the Fed?

00:40:17.380 Are they getting to the heart of our problem?

00:40:19.520 We have an energy crisis.

00:40:21.800 In the UK today, brother, they've basically admitted what you said on the show a couple of days ago

00:40:26.420 because Nigel Farage was talking about it the other night, right, on his show, picked up on yours,

00:40:31.700 and they said, hey, energy costs are going to go up 80%.

00:40:34.340 It's going to be the end of the Tory party.

00:40:36.880 Is anybody in the Biden regime trying to implement any policies to take care of the energy crisis in the United States of America,

00:40:44.540 which is the beating heart of the inflation problem?

00:40:48.040 Dave Walsh.

00:40:48.720 No, Steve, quite the opposite.

00:40:51.280 They're kind of now coming to they can't do anything about inflation.

00:40:55.840 And they're right.

00:40:56.640 They can't do anything about inflation as long as they're on a path to right after the SCOTUS ruling here.

00:41:04.720 You can't quite see them.

00:41:06.200 The NOx regulations, now they're pushing forward on coal-fired generation to completely end that in this country,

00:41:14.000 pursuing, yes, the kingdom of Saudi Arabia of oil in the U.S.,

00:41:17.360 the Permian Basin, on NOx emissions coming out of the wells there,

00:41:21.280 cutting production in the Gulf, in Alaska,

00:41:23.440 and then the pipelines we've talked about the last few days,

00:41:27.220 standing firmly with the green movement on blocking all of them.

00:41:30.800 So, no, you can't control inflation while you concurrently make decisions to stifle the nation's energy supply.

00:41:37.460 You can't have it both ways.

00:41:39.380 So, yeah, inflation is going to be out of control,

00:41:41.300 and they're moving in the right direction of acknowledging they can't do anything about it

00:41:45.800 as long as they're going to limit our country's energy supply.

00:41:49.720 And then last week in an op-ed, Granholm starts talking about cutting off LNG exports.

00:41:54.640 Well, if you want to take another step in the direction of stifling production, that's a path to take.

00:42:00.100 As I've said, we can do both.

00:42:02.000 If we free up the pipelines, free up fracking in places like New York,

00:42:05.480 we can solve our energy issues, which are at the core of this inflation and recession.

00:42:11.220 And in the U.K., it's worse.

00:42:12.400 To show you the power of this show and Dave Walsh,

00:42:18.120 because he's an executive that just cuts to the chase.

00:42:21.100 We had him on a couple of days ago to talk about the U.K.

00:42:23.180 He starts going through and say, hey, they ain't seen anything yet.

00:42:25.600 Now, that's all the media is talking about over there,

00:42:28.120 because they're looking over the other side of the hill

00:42:29.800 or where these radical Green New Deal policies are leading them,

00:42:34.040 and that's to the destruction of the country.

00:42:35.640 They said today, I think it was Borja, in an interview, the energy, let me repeat this.

00:42:41.600 It was on NPR, and InfoWars picked it up too.

00:42:44.480 The energy crisis in the United Kingdom is going to dwarf the financial crisis of 2008.

00:42:50.540 The same thing is going to happen here.

00:42:52.420 Here, we're going to have this energy crisis is going to be one of the major causes of a financial collapse.

00:42:59.780 Let me repeat that, a financial collapse.

00:43:03.540 And if we keep screwing around with this, it's only going to get worse every day,

00:43:08.840 and you're going to get to a point that you can't pull it back,

00:43:11.940 that it will take decades to reverse this.

00:43:14.920 Let me play the clip.

00:43:15.620 Let me bring in Brad from the dean of the Business School of Liberty.

00:43:18.420 Hang on a second, Dave.

00:43:19.280 I'll come right back to you.

00:43:20.120 Play the clip from Jackson Hole.

00:43:22.620 He used the V word.

00:43:24.340 Let me hear it.

00:43:24.860 During the 1970s, as inflation climbed, the anticipation of high inflation became entrenched

00:43:31.020 in the economic decision-making of businesses and households.

00:43:35.100 The more inflation rose, the more people came to expect it to remain high,

00:43:39.100 and they built that belief into wage and price decisions.

00:43:43.780 As former Chairman Paul Volcker put it, at the height of the great inflation in 1979,

00:43:49.660 inflation feeds in part on itself.

00:43:51.360 So part of the job of returning to a more stable and more productive economy

00:43:55.200 must be to break the grip of inflationary expectations.

00:44:00.000 One useful insight into how actual inflation may affect expectations about its future path

00:44:05.660 is based in the concept of rational inattention.

00:44:10.320 When inflation is persistently high,

00:44:12.100 let me have it.

00:44:15.500 We started the clip with a year and a half ago we started talking about this.

00:44:18.320 We started using the V word early on about Volcker, about being a hawk,

00:44:22.480 as these namby-pamby people kicked the can down the road.

00:44:26.960 And here's where we are today.

00:44:28.460 They're jammed up with limited options.

00:44:30.720 Dave Bratt, you heard it today.

00:44:32.120 He comes in.

00:44:33.020 We talked about what labor has to pay for, what capital has to pay for.

00:44:36.660 It looks like they came down the side of at least supporting labor

00:44:41.020 and the fact that they're going to try to ring this.

00:44:43.240 They use Volcker, which, by the way,

00:44:45.240 Dave Bratt did the calculation on the show two months ago.

00:44:49.020 If Paul Volcker was there, the interest rates would be a seven and a half percent.

00:44:52.820 Not at, what, a couple of percent.

00:44:55.020 It'd be a real interest rate, it'd be seven and a half percent.

00:44:57.660 But that's what a hawk would do.

00:44:58.840 Dave Bratt, what did you think of Jay Powell's pronouncements from Jackson Hole, Wyoming today?

00:45:04.940 Well, he said all the right things, but, you know, I'm fairly cynical on this political business cycle.

00:45:14.060 So we'll see how long it lasts, right?

00:45:16.100 So he's going to try to take a firm stand.

00:45:19.200 And as soon as he said today that we're not at neutral, that's when the markets took off red.

00:45:25.620 Go out to finbiz.com.

00:45:27.500 You can see the whole market's red down three percent across all of them today.

00:45:31.420 So we're not at neutral.

00:45:32.320 So that was the first time he's acknowledged this transitory thing is done.

00:45:37.900 That's kind of a joke.

00:45:39.220 They totally goofed. 1.00

00:45:40.720 We're not at neutral, which means they're going to take serious medicine going forward.

00:45:45.900 And the big thing people got to recognize is that we do have pain.

00:45:50.140 He mentioned that word over and over and over.

00:45:52.660 But I don't think he did not explain the nature of the pain.

00:45:57.120 We've been at zero percent, right?

00:45:59.300 Our economic regime is addicted to zero percent funds rate and free money for 10 years in a row.

00:46:07.880 That's going to take a long time to break that addiction, right?

00:46:11.620 So all the real economy, we always talk about productivity and doing real business and all that.

00:46:17.180 They're used to capital markets.

00:46:18.660 They're used to that zero percent interest.

00:46:20.580 That's all done today.

00:46:22.660 And so then you heard him go off into PhD talk on expectations, and that's real.

00:46:26.640 So they still don't want to mention headline inflation at eight and a half, nine percent.

00:46:30.680 So they're talking about core PCE after you strip out energy and food, which are the highest parts of the CPI.

00:46:38.520 Which is everything.

00:46:39.580 Hang on.

00:46:40.660 When he said neutral, yeah, don't skim some inside baseball.

00:46:43.440 When he said neutral, what he's saying is no more, the signal that it's not just about rates, but it's also about juicing the system.

00:46:49.620 No more quantitative easing, no more liquidity through the through the balance sheet of the Fed.

00:46:55.740 He's telling him the party's over and we've taken the punch bowl.

00:46:58.800 Basically, is that what he meant by saying neutral?

00:47:01.200 And as soon as he said it, markets tanked.

00:47:03.900 Right.

00:47:04.180 Is that is that the mechanics of this?

00:47:06.400 Yeah.

00:47:07.040 Yeah.

00:47:07.360 No, that's it.

00:47:08.100 And neutral means the whole regime.

00:47:10.180 Right.

00:47:10.620 And so yesterday when I was on your show, we were talking about, you know, all the economists are still saying, well, we're about right.

00:47:17.520 The Fed's still got it right because they're trying to balance unemployment and inflation and whatever.

00:47:22.100 And the balancing act came to an end today.

00:47:24.600 Right.

00:47:24.860 So the unemployment, everybody knows the pain for the income distribution will be in the headlines tomorrow.

00:47:33.040 Right.

00:47:33.860 That they're going to put a nice soft coat on this, that they're doing this for the poor, which is true.

00:47:39.260 That's fine.

00:47:39.980 But it's like, finally, you finally realize what 10 percent.

00:47:43.080 What do you mean they're doing it for the poor?

00:47:44.500 They're screwing the poor. 1.00

00:47:45.820 They're screwing the poor in this country every day. 1.00

00:47:48.260 Any person under 35 years old, you're getting hosed every day.

00:47:52.760 And here's what's going to happen.

00:47:53.980 Your credit cards are going to explode.

00:47:55.600 The car repossessions are going up.

00:47:57.540 You're late on your mortgage.

00:47:58.880 You're late on your rent.

00:48:00.880 Wages are going down.

00:48:02.060 50 percent of the CEOs yesterday said in a survey, we're going to start the layoffs within six months to a year.

00:48:07.380 If you're under 35 years old, you're not you don't own anything.

00:48:11.400 You're not going to own anything.

00:48:12.520 And Powell just told you, get ready to go into middle age like that.

00:48:16.300 This is going to be a debacle.

00:48:17.720 And here's why they haven't cut to the problem of the energy crisis in this country.

00:48:22.880 The natural gas is going to explode up to 12 or 15 bucks.

00:48:26.200 And hey, you wait.

00:48:26.880 They're going to everybody's been cutting off their air conditioning is going to be a long, cold winter.

00:48:30.480 Hang on for a second.

00:48:31.060 Dave Walsh, is anything I said there about energy incorrect, sir, from your position as a professional?

00:48:38.400 No, it's totally correct.

00:48:39.420 We can do things with interest rates.

00:48:41.920 But until we address the core inflationary causal thing going on here, which is energy, is right now all about energy and the ability to produce more of it cost effectively, all these actions won't really take effect meaningfully until we free up.

00:48:58.300 I mean, for example, in this delinquency issue, PG&E, ratepayers in California up 40% delinquency.

00:49:06.220 PSE&G in New Jersey up 30%.

00:49:08.700 Why is that happening in those states, in those regions?

00:49:12.080 California's our third highest electricity cost state already because of these policies.

00:49:16.680 New Jersey's the 11th highest to begin with.

00:49:18.980 And now we've got massive delinquencies.

00:49:20.760 I'm going to leave you this.

00:49:22.520 20 million households in this country.

00:49:26.040 Bloomberg's reporting you have a tsunami of people getting their power cut off.

00:49:30.380 Let me repeat that.

00:49:31.620 20 million homes.

00:49:33.320 We only have 100 million households in the country.

00:49:35.680 20% of the nation is about to be cut off.

00:49:37.880 This is how third world countries program their energy that 15% to 18% never going to pay. 0.99

00:49:43.460 That's where the United States is.

00:49:44.820 Dave Walsh, real quickly, what's your getter so people can get you?

00:49:48.180 Just a quick thing.

00:49:49.780 The U.K. in 2005 was 70% self-sufficient on natural gas internally.

00:49:54.880 70%.

00:49:55.320 Today, 30%.

00:49:57.100 Just saying.

00:49:58.160 That's why rates are going through the roof there.

00:50:01.300 NIMBY, don't do it here in my backyard. 1.00

00:50:03.440 Import it.

00:50:04.540 It's at Dave Walsh Energy on Getter.

00:50:06.460 Thank you, Steve.

00:50:08.440 Thank you.

00:50:09.080 Thank you, brother.

00:50:09.780 Great.

00:50:10.080 Hey, Brett, how do people get to you on Getter?

00:50:12.940 Because I know you're putting stuff up all weekend.

00:50:14.440 Yeah, yeah.

00:50:15.980 I'll be putting this up today.

00:50:17.120 Brat Economics at Getter.

00:50:18.600 What Dave's saying, you can excuse a lot of errors when you've got $9 trillion in funny money on the Fed balance sheet and $5 trillion in fiscal stimulus.

00:50:28.280 Now that's all going bye-bye.

00:50:30.000 And now you're going to see Dave Walsh land appear on the supply side.

00:50:33.680 Energy's up 40%.

00:50:35.160 It hits every aspect of business.

00:50:37.840 It's going to get hit.

00:50:38.820 The real price system and free markets are going to tell the real story.

00:50:42.960 Look, we're going to be live tomorrow morning, 10 o'clock, go through all this.

00:50:47.840 Every easy decision in this country is behind us.

00:50:51.020 When the chairman of the Federal Reserve, who's so weak to begin with, uses the word pain about 50 times in his talk today from Jackson Hole.

00:50:58.260 Trust me, the pain's coming.

00:51:00.040 The question is, who's going to be on the receiving end tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock live in the war room.
