00:01:55.440I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:02:01.300Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
00:02:05.060If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
00:02:11.400War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.
00:02:14.640thursday 8th of october and dominie 2026 harnwell here at the helm on steve bannon's
00:02:28.140war room good evening well those fig those scenes that you were watching just before
00:02:34.840the title rolled many people looking at those will have thought we're talking about france today
00:02:41.560But those scenes, those protests didn't take place in France. They took place in Spain. And it's my opinion this week that the key development across Europe hasn't been the protests in France, but the protests in Spain.
00:03:01.440I think they're more important. They've certainly had a greater consequence, given that Pedro Sanchez, the socialist prime minister of Spain, announced early elections. He's brought forward the elections that were set for, I think, around summer or so of 2020.
00:03:23.480and he brought them forward eight months early that now take place at the very end of
00:03:28.600november now here in continental europe i know in the states you have basically elections that
00:03:36.160they set the dates of those elections are set in tab tablets of stone here in continental europe
00:03:43.000it's not quite so straightforward the governing party tends to have the discretion to to call
00:04:06.960And that's because it's expecting a pretty bad situation
00:04:11.660if the mandate of the parliament were to go full course.
00:04:17.620So in order to head off that, to have a less bad scenario, or even from their perspective, if they're optimistic, a better scenario, a good scenario, a good outcome, they'll call the elections early.
00:04:29.900In Spain, the situation has been pretty bad for a number of reasons.
00:04:35.660And it's clear that Pedro Sanchez has called these elections, not because he expects a huge majority.
00:08:24.400So with all the crisis we're having in Spain, economic, housing, immigration invasion, he knows that it's inevitable that the next government will be probably right wing.
00:08:38.640So what he was doing during the last eight years, the streets were, let's say, calm, because in Spain in general and many other countries, the radical left is controlling the protests in the streets.
00:08:52.320So what he did, he was to awake all those leftists in order to exercise for the next
00:09:04.100four years in case there is a right-wing government.
00:09:07.100So he was doing this a little bit earlier, taking the skews of Marie Cavanagh, we'll
00:09:12.320talk about her later, because he's preparing the people, the radical left, to invade the
00:09:17.080street in order to have protests every week for the next four years till the right-wing
00:09:24.300party, the right-wing government, probably a coalition between the popular party and
00:09:29.060Vox, will be no longer able to work together. There will be too much pressure in the streets.
00:09:34.720There will be, again, elections probably earlier than the four years of mandate that they will
00:09:40.580have. And then Pedro Sánchez will come back as the messiah of Spain, the saver of Spain,
00:09:49.240the one who will save Spain from the really bad fascist intolerance and anti-immigration.
00:09:55.540So I think there's a strategy of Pedro Sánchez. Of course, the situation was very bad in Spain,
00:10:01.880but the left will never protest against the government. And even one of the ministers of
00:10:08.100Pedro Sánchez, who was saying in public yesterday, that the protest and the manifestation and
00:10:14.000the generalist strike of Spain that will take place next 11th of November is against
00:10:19.500the opposition, not against the government.
00:10:21.880So this is a little bit crazy, because who is in power is responsible for the laws that
00:10:26.640have been approved in the parliament and for everything that is going on in Spain the last
00:12:24.280The reason rents are so high is a direct consequence of government's own attempts at regulating the socialist government's attempts at regulating the housing market.
00:12:36.400So you've got these two things. You've got the general strike coming up in November, and I think that's going to be quite serious for this government.
00:12:43.840You also have the anger, the popular anger on the housing market score.
00:12:49.700Where do you think, between now and this general strike, how do you think these two issues are going to come together in terms of popular anger and popular demonstration?
00:13:02.000Well, the problem is, of course, it's the fault of the government, but it's not only because of over-regulation.
00:13:07.780The main problem is that in the last eight years, we received in Spain 8 million of immigrants.
00:13:13.740So there is not lack of buildings or housing in Spain.1.00
00:13:18.420There are too many immigrants that most of them, they are not working.1.00
00:13:22.020They are living from the social health, and this will go back to the country.1.00
00:13:25.700So it's not a matter about how many houses can we build in the next years.0.99
00:18:57.68039 million spanish in 1990 in 1995 right um 30 years later between a mixture of people who who
00:19:11.660entered legally, but the majority who entered illegally on tourist visas then overstayed and
00:19:18.200then regularised themselves with the government. There's now around 14 million invaders.
00:19:26.160So 39 million, let's say 40 million, let's say 40 million ethnic Spanish and 15 million,
00:19:32.200just to round it, about 15 million invaders. Of the 14 million invaders, only 3.5% are paying
00:19:41.560taxes so the welfare of everyone else who's not who's not even contributing who's you know those0.98
00:19:48.7803.5 who are working and paying taxes are obviously taking jobs from from the spanish but put that
00:19:54.640aside put put that aside because they're paying taxes right at least i mean obviously democracia
00:20:00.680national would say everyone whether they're paying tax or not whether they enter legal or not
00:20:06.520time pack your bags and leave right but let's just take the statistics the statistics as you
00:20:13.980mentioned them that who has to pay for the um 10 million or so invaders who aren't working or not
00:20:23.680paying taxes not working in the black that said they might be working in the black market but0.82
00:20:28.700they're not paying taxes who's paying for them for their health care for their education and all
00:20:33.560the rest of it, the ordinary average Spanish worker.
00:20:37.300So not only does the ordinary Spanish worker have to compete0.59
00:20:41.400in terms of wage competition with invaders,
00:20:48.360they have to compete for the housing as well.
00:20:52.580So the invaders are driving wages down,0.88
00:20:56.120and they're driving the price of accommodation up.0.97
00:20:59.540That's why, over the past decade, rents have risen 80%, so high, so that the average under 30-year-old labourer in Spain now has an absurd situation where the entirety of their salary goes on paying the rent.
00:21:17.980That is the situation. That is why we saw the pictures at the beginning of the show, the protests, the anger. That is what is driving this.
00:21:28.620The Spanish media aren't telling people that, and to the extent that this is being covered in the international media, the international media aren't covering it as well.
00:21:38.620But I think this is the more important story than what's taking place in France, as important as France is.
00:21:45.000Give a quick shout out, and I'll go back to Gonzalo MartÃn in just a quick moment to continue this analysis.
00:21:51.060And this is really a horrific story, as we can see, of what's taking place in Spain right now.
00:22:01.460All right. So I put out earlier on, folks, just for you, this article that I saw on CNBC.
00:25:03.340I think this is a perfect opportunity just for you to set out the difference,
00:25:07.440the full difference between Vox and Democrazia Nacional,
00:25:11.020not least in respect, whereas both of your political parties
00:25:14.980are absolutely against the invasion and stopping the invasion.0.84
00:25:19.580I think it's Democracy and Latino, which is the most serious proposition of doing the second part of what is necessary, which is sending the invaders back.0.96
00:25:30.820Just give me 60 seconds, one minute on that, the difference between you and Vox now, so that our American audience might know how to compartmentalize the two of you.0.80
00:25:41.180And we'll pick up with Maria Carmen Abascal after the commercial break.
00:25:45.980Just right now, the difference between you and Vox.

00:29:32.620Remember, a complimentary business tax review that normally costs thousands of dollars.
00:32:36.560Then moving further to the right, you have the conventional,
00:32:42.160there are conventional now, the conventional populist nationalist iterations, right?
00:32:51.360And what we're seeing now, and this is why I want to make this analysis,
00:32:54.820what we're seeing now is something to the right of those populist nationalist iterations emerging.
00:33:00.100And it's very important that we understand what is taking place and why it is taking place.
00:33:05.120So the conventional populist nationalist iterations, these are the parties that were on 3% 10, 15 years ago.
00:33:12.960They're now 25%, 30% country by country.
00:33:16.080The conventional populist nationalist iterations, you've got Fratelli d'Italia here in Italy.
00:33:25.840You know, you're going to have Nigel Farage in the UK, you've got the AFD in Germany, you've got Vox in Spain, so on and so forth.
00:33:38.460And all of these parties are pretty much saying in one way or another, according to their own national context, we have to stop the invasion.
00:33:45.260What we are seeing now, to the right of those, is a new phenomenon that is saying, yes, we have to stop the invasion, but at the same time as we're stopping the invasion, we need to send back the invaders who already came.
00:34:04.720That is an absolutely essential voice for the political spectrum.
00:34:13.500Absolutely essential, I think, for public policy.
00:34:31.480Vanacci wants to stop the invasion and send them back.
00:34:33.880In Portugal, we had a couple of weeks on the show, the founder of this new political movement, Reconquista, Afonso Gonçalves, the young Portuguese guy, hasn't even registered his political movement yet with the authorities.
00:34:49.920He's already on 5%, according to the reputable polls in Portugal.
00:34:56.420He suggests quite reasonably he's actually on a lot higher than 5% for a political party that hasn't even been officially registered.
00:35:03.880And here in Spain, we have Democrazia Nacional,
00:37:44.640in the same week that Pedro Sanchez said that they were going to find 10,000 homes
00:37:53.480for the invaders in Feuta by the end of the year.
00:38:01.880So housing shortage for Spanish, no housing shortage for invaders.
00:38:08.720This lady, this 87-year-old pensioner, Maria Carmen Abascal Gonzalo MartÃn from your very neighbourhood in Madrid, very sadly passed away in hospital within the last 24 hours.0.93
00:38:26.820And quite rightly, people are basically accusing the socialist government of having killed her.
00:38:31.680Tell me how she is now becoming a martyr symbol for the resistance of the Spanish against the socialist government.
00:38:43.080Well, it's taken as a martyr from all the leftists because they say it was the fault of the City Hall of Madrid,
00:38:51.920the right wing from the Popular Party, and the regional government of Madrid,
00:38:56.660that they are speculators, they are people in favor of privatizing everything, and they
00:39:04.600were responsible that they kick out from her house Marie Carmen.
00:40:20.620And that's why Pedro Sánchez convoked the election, because he knew that this will be a symbol for the electoral campaign for the Socialist Party.
00:40:31.240Look how the right-wing parties kick out a poor old lady, and because of all this mess, a few days later, she died.
00:40:39.720So we believe this is a strategy for the Socialist Party that they knew that Marie Carmen will die soon,
00:40:45.100and that's why Pedro Sánchez announced that we are running for election.
00:40:49.960So it's all a strategy from Pedro Sánchez.
00:40:53.360And now the radical left is in the street.
00:40:56.960They are trying to control the street.
00:40:58.560They are organizing a general strike, not against the government,
00:41:02.040that they have the capacity for eight years of building many houses
00:41:06.060or managing, in general, Spain and controlling the situation of the real estate in Spain.
00:41:15.600But they are doing this because they are preparing four years of protest every week against the future government, right-wing, probably, Popular Party plus Vox.
00:41:26.760So this is all political strategy from Pedro Sánchez.
00:41:31.780But how are the Spanish people themselves seeing this?
00:41:35.720Is the government's line landing with the Spanish or are they now rejecting it because it's too big a request to ask in disbelief?
00:41:50.600So the society is totally divided now.
00:41:53.620We see a society that is totally divided and we are getting a polarization of the Spanish people.
00:42:01.600There are people that are totally against all these protests because they see that they are organizing all these protests and strikes at the end of the mandate of Pedro Sánchez, while they have eight years to protest, to organize general strikes.
00:42:17.080And they are doing it now because they need the people to have some, they call it, revolutionary exercise in order to get ready for protesting during the next four years, making it impossible for the future government to control Spain.
00:42:35.920So the leftists, they are with the government.
00:42:39.700They say that the fault of the right is the fault of the foreign powers in investing in Spain.
00:42:47.080And the right-wing people, they are saying that this is a manipulation from the left, and they don't care about Marie Carmen, and they don't care about Spanish people struggling with paying the rent or the mortgage.
00:43:02.680Because in Spain, as you probably know, by law, if somebody enters your house, you cannot kick them out, and sometimes it takes even more than one year to kick them out.
00:43:11.600So what people are saying, right-wing people, is that if Marie Carmen would have gone on holidays
00:43:17.500and some lefties or some immigrants would have entered illegally in her apartment
00:43:22.720and they would have occupied the apartment, the same people that are demonstrating in favor of Marie Carmen,
00:43:27.880they will be demonstrating against Marie Carmen in order to not be kicked out from the apartment of Marie Carmen
00:43:41.600So is it accurate to say that in Spain right now invaders not only have the legal protections to invade the country, to invade Spain themselves,
00:43:53.800once they have successfully invaded and entered and broken into the country,
00:43:58.520they then have the legal protections to break into people's private properties and squat.0.82
00:45:32.420between the Spanish and French protests.
00:45:39.580Fox News, a network we don't often talk highly about
00:45:44.400on the war room, did produce, I thought,
00:45:48.940quite a very interesting analysis on home title theft.
00:45:55.280It goes through the phenomenon quite analytically, quite synthetically, explaining exactly what that is, how it works and what people can do.
00:46:07.440It doesn't push any particular service provider as a solution, but it does indicate the sort of steps in a general sense, what one can do.
00:46:17.760So obviously on The War Room, we recommend folk to check out Home Title Lock
00:46:25.920to resolve precisely the issues that the Fox News guys were highlighting for their audience.
00:46:34.840I quite like home title myself because not only are they able to monitor a property's title 24-7 and alert you of any changes, if you subscribe to their service, then they will also, if the worst should happen, if someone does try to make an illegal claim on your property.
00:47:01.660they can spend up to one million dollars restoring your title for you so check them out you've got
00:47:11.080the article there on fox news that that's a pretty good starter a neutral independent
00:47:15.980starter to go from and then check out home title lock go to home title lock.com forward stroke
00:47:24.820Steve and if you use promo code Steve at that website home title lock.com forward stroke Steve
00:47:34.980then you can get a three months trial of their million dollar triple lock protection all right
00:47:45.000okay back in the closing minutes with Gonzalo Martin deputy leader of democracia national so
00:47:51.500So the Guardian's analysis, Gonzalo, is it puts these two protests together and says that the ruling parties must prove that they can give young protesters hope, clearly because it's the youth that is being hit most by this.
00:48:07.640It does not seem to me to be very likely that the mainstream parties are going to give the youth much hope because it's their own policies that have created this crisis in the first place.
00:48:20.220And lest we forget the very situation with Maria Carmen Abascal's, that her rent was increased by 230 percent. Right. Huge statistic. And Gonzalo, I think you spoke quite eloquently as to how the government, Pedro Sanchez, the master strategist, was manipulating that situation for his own party's political ends.
00:48:45.920But look, in the final couple of minutes, as an astute analyst of politics in your own country, could you just tell me why you think what the Guardian is saying here, that the mainstream political parties need to respond to young protesters' hopes, why the mainstream political parties aren't going to deliver on that?
00:49:10.220And they need to really be looking at democracia nacional, at the very least, to respond to their hopes and fears.
00:49:21.040Well, they say that these people are protesting and they are claiming the government to do something for them.
00:49:28.440But we know the situation is coming from the same parties that they are, in the case of Spain, in power.
00:49:35.640Of course, there are many younger Spanish that they are waking up and they are not leftist and they are becoming, let's say, even radical patriots because the situation is very radical.
00:49:48.380So we're seeing people that are younger than 25 years old that at least 30 percent, they said they will be happy to vote for Vox.
00:49:55.140What it means, knowing that Vox is not a real national option, but people believe that Vox will deport most of the immigrants as we want, it means that there are many young people that they don't have any more of this complex, that we have to stop for the past generation.0.55
00:50:15.400So what I'm seeing in Spain and in France is a division and a polarization of the society.0.79
00:50:22.040It's true that in the case of France, 90% of protesters are children of immigrants.
