Bannon's War Room - WarRoom Battleground EP 306： A Magazine Building Up The Future Generation

00:00:00.000 this is what you're fighting for i mean every day you're out there what they're doing is blowing

00:00:12.940 people off if you continue to look the other way and shut up then the oppressors the

00:00:19.920 authoritarians get total control and total power because this is just like in arizona this is just

00:00:25.840 like in georgia it's another element that backs them into a quarter and shows their lies and

00:00:30.580 misrepresentations is why this audience is going to have to get engaged as we've told you this is

00:00:34.860 the fight all this nonsense all this spin they can't handle the truth war room battleground here's

00:00:41.900 your host stephen k bannon this past wednesday robert f kennedy jr the 69 year old environmental

00:00:49.480 lawyer and third child of rfk formally announced he was running for the democratic presidential

00:00:55.020 nomination becoming the fourth kennedy to launch a white house run my mission over the next 18 0.76

00:01:02.540 months of this campaign and over my throughout my presidency will be to end the corrupt merger

00:01:10.700 of state and corporate power that four out of every five toxic waste dumps in our country

00:01:15.680 is in a black neighborhood the highest the largest toxic waste dump in this country is emile alabama 1.00

00:01:23.580 which is 85 black we can generate an instantaneous cash flow in the illusion of a prosperous economy 0.96

00:01:30.200 and we can make a few people billionaires by impoverishing the rest of us but our children

00:01:35.920 are going to pay for our joy right now i'll be honest a lot of that really resonates with me and

00:01:42.100 i'm sure with many on the left a candidate willing to condemn the consolidation of corporate power the

00:01:46.820 evils of environmental racism and ever increasing income inequality and a kennedy to boot what more

00:01:53.500 could democrats ask for well a lot actually sadly there's plenty wrong with robert f kennedy jr and

00:02:00.660 his long shot presidential bid here's just three worrying things among many that you should know

00:02:05.560 about him first robert kennedy jr is one of america's leading anti-vaxxers and conspiracy theorists

00:02:11.800 he and his children's health defense group have spent years amplifying discredited and dangerous

00:02:17.140 nonsense linking vaccines to autism and death and during the pandemic he and his group became some

00:02:23.060 of the biggest promoters of anti-covid vaccine conspiracy theories making a ton of money off of

00:02:28.940 ridiculous claims that bill gates was using microchips to surveil and maybe even starve the american

00:02:34.520 people and also offensive analogies with the holocaust

00:02:38.060 even in hitler germany you could you could cross the alps into switzerland you can hide in an attic

00:02:45.120 like anne frank did i visited in 1962 east germany with my father and met people who had climbed the

00:02:53.080 wall and escaped so it was possible many died chewing it but it was possible today the mechanisms are

00:03:00.220 being put in place i will make it so none of us can run and none of us can hide

00:03:05.260 a does he know what happened to anne frank after she hid in the attic b he was condemned by the

00:03:15.200 auschwitz memorial for that and c while he later apologized for that comment he has a long history of

00:03:20.740 making nazi and holocaust references in relation to vaccines and even put out a video showing anthony

00:03:26.080 fauci in a hitler mustache in fact kennedy published a best-selling book called the real

00:03:31.660 anthony fauci in which he accuses the acclaimed doctor and public health expert of executing a

00:03:37.080 quote historic coup d'etat against western democracy this is bonkers stuff it's also super reckless

00:03:44.860 and super dangerous a reminder the anti-vaxxer movement that kennedy helps lead in this country

00:03:50.300 has a lot of innocent american blood on its hands one study found that up until april of 2022

00:03:55.740 coveted vaccines could have prevented more than 300 000 american deaths a number that is surely

00:04:01.360 much higher today a year later oh and by the way when kennedy and his wife hosted a holiday party in

00:04:07.240 december of 2021 the invite urged guests to be coveted vaccinated he conveniently blamed his wife for

00:04:13.940 that second robert f kennedy jr might be running for the democratic presidential nomination and he might

00:04:18.940 be saying a few left-wing sounding things but he's backed by former trump advisor and far-right organizer

00:04:24.740 steve bannon yes bannon reports cbs news's robert costa has been encouraging kennedy to run for months

00:04:31.740 believing he could be both a useful chaos agent in the 2024 race and a big name who could help stoke

00:04:37.640 anti-vaccine sentiment around the country a chaos agent in fact kennedy met with then president elect

00:04:45.400 trump in january 2017 to discuss a job in the trump administration and even accepted an offer to run a

00:04:50.920 vaccine safety task force for trump which thankfully never got off the ground and kennedy hasn't hidden

00:04:57.380 his far-right maga ties as the ap reported a photo posted on instagram showed kennedy backstage at a july

00:05:03.700 2021 reawaken america event with former president trump's ally roger stone former national security

00:05:09.320 advisor michael flynn and anti-vaccine profiteer charlene bollinger all three have promoted the lie about the

00:05:15.960 2020 election being stolen so forgive me if i don't buy kennedy's left-wing credentials and i'm

00:05:23.360 not surprised that he went on tucker cullson's white power hour on fox to promote his democratic

00:05:28.820 presidential bid lastly rfk junior may have the support of steve bannon but he doesn't have the

00:05:35.500 support of his own family of the rest of the kennedy clan yes the man whose real claim to fame is that

00:05:40.480 he's the third eldest of the late bobby kennedy's 11 kids has been publicly denounced by many of the

00:05:46.200 other kennedy kids the people who know him best writing in politico in 2019 his elder siblings

00:05:52.140 kathleen kennedy townsend and joseph p kennedy ii condemned their brother's conspiracism saying he had

00:05:57.880 helped to spread dangerous misinformation over social media and is complicit in sowing distrust of

00:06:03.360 the science behind vaccines earlier this month his younger siblings kerry kennedy and doug kennedy

00:06:09.940 distanced themselves from him as well so forgive me but a bannon-backed tucker platformed anti-vaxxer

00:06:17.460 conspiracy theorist who's running on his kennedy name but can't count on the support of the actual

00:06:22.220 kennedys is perhaps not the progressive or principled or anti-establishment or liberal

00:06:27.820 democratic party champion that he might want you to think he is

00:06:32.040 okay welcome it is uh monday of five june in the year of our lord uh 2023 um right there you saw

00:06:43.380 that is kind of the fake and the in the foreground is the fake progressive or liberal whatever it is

00:06:49.620 msnbc but it's all nbc's it's all about corporate power and there you're seeing corporate media taking a

00:06:56.200 shot at the i think the one guy president trump's taking on the administrative state but a guy that has

00:07:01.600 a very deep understanding of this merger of state and corporate power is obviously robert f kennedy jr

00:07:09.440 i i'm honored to be one of the people uh that assisted in getting that meeting in 2017 that was in the

00:07:15.640 transition it was one of our earliest meetings when when rfk jr came up there uh and i think i was the

00:07:22.140 only person that sat in with president trump then president elect trump in in his pitch and it was uh it

00:07:26.760 was mesmerizing this is one of the smartest guys out there and the case he made against big pharma

00:07:31.380 was very compelling at the time president trump was thinking kicking around setting up a presidential

00:07:36.240 commission to actually get the facts out there you know we've had the great honor of working with

00:07:42.380 children's health defense over the last couple years and you know uh helping promote their films

00:07:47.000 you know the great claire dooley the filmmaker it works over there all the team at children's health

00:07:51.960 defense we've put their information up and we've put their people up and we've gotten people to the

00:07:57.180 rallies all the feedback we've gotten has been absolutely tremendous remember we're not anti-vax

00:08:03.220 we're anti definitely the covet vax i mean myself and our staff are totally unvaxed and would never

00:08:10.180 take the vax but it was the vaccine hesitancy it was really the vaccine hesitancy of uh of asking

00:08:16.160 these questions and just seeing the corporate media's propaganda and it goes deeper it this is this

00:08:21.760 merger and you've seen naomi wolf we've had all the great doctors on here um you know for the last

00:08:27.920 couple of years talking about how big pharma is driving the agenda here and how tony fauci is a is

00:08:34.140 an instrument of uh of big pharma we were also one of the biggest promoters of the real anthony fauci

00:08:39.920 in that book uh i think it laid out a very compelling case uh for how dangerous uh how dangerous

00:08:46.720 anthony fauci was i believe the book sold over a million and a half copies the new york times you

00:08:52.660 know would never put it on its bestseller list fought it tooth and nail the book was in in

00:08:57.600 particularly today's publishing environment you know tony lyons and the team over at skyhorse

00:09:02.920 it's one of the reasons we got to know skyhorse and launched our own

00:09:06.160 our own imprint with them is that they did such an incredible job because that book was not accessible

00:09:11.920 it it it's a very tough book it reads like a i don't know a 600 page criminal indictment against

00:09:20.300 tony fauci but rfk jr in our i think we had a couple of one-hour interviews with him absolutely

00:09:26.840 blew people away about his depth of understanding of one of the central issues remember it's president

00:09:32.720 donald j trump that has said that he thinks the biggest enemy to america is not the ccp but it's the 0.99

00:09:39.100 administrative state and they're kind of rogue arm the deep state robert f kennedy jr has made the

00:09:44.140 most detailed understanding of what i call the deconstruction of the deep state and i've said

00:09:50.160 from the beginning uh that this is an important voice and it is most important for this to be in

00:09:56.160 the political race you see now with the interview with with uh with elon musk and everything that's

00:10:00.640 going on he's getting more and more you know jack dorsey came out and endorsed him over the weekend

00:10:04.960 he's getting more and more opportunities to make that case to show you how the system is against

00:10:12.480 him in his message in his crusade think about it for a second rasmussen has a poll that has him at 35 35

00:10:19.780 with biden there are other polls out there that show him anywhere from 19 i think to 21 or 22

00:10:25.860 he's polling higher than the top keebler elf uh ron de santis against president trump i think de santis

00:10:33.900 now is i don't know 16 to 19 against president trump he's already just at the very beginning

00:10:40.080 remember de santis has really been running for a year i know he's just recently announced but he's

00:10:44.720 been getting the apparatus for a year he's been out there talking to people he's been having meetings

00:10:48.120 with donors he's gotten all the profiles he's been on fox absolutely non-stop uh and de santis you know

00:10:54.660 is is is now down into the team robert f kennedy just just launched and robert f kennedy is that i don't

00:11:01.260 know anywhere from 20 21 19 to 21 to maybe up as high as 35 and the democratic party has said

00:11:10.920 they're not that they're not going to have a primary and there's not going to be any debates

00:11:13.760 they've already ruled out and we you watch msnbc and they come out and they just hammered said that the

00:11:19.560 the the primary is over and there's not going to be any debates under no circumstances could they

00:11:25.160 ever possibly allow robert f kennedy on a stage and right there that hit piece on msnbc is they're

00:11:31.840 nervous and the biden regime is nervous and they're now trying to get out there and say progressives

00:11:36.760 you can't do this this guy doesn't support anything that you believe but if you believe that there is

00:11:41.980 some sort of way that the populist left and the populist right can work together robert f kennedy could

00:11:48.060 be that could be that bridging element uh and it's very important i believe right now it's very

00:11:54.520 important in in american uh in in american political culture to start to really pay attention to robert

00:12:01.120 f kennedy i'm not saying you should support him i'm not saying you should give him money i'm not saying

00:12:05.080 you should vote for him but listen to what he has to say and for the people in the populist left

00:12:09.340 bernie sanders is a hapless old man that has led you guys to two humiliating defeats and raised a ton of

00:12:16.420 money and absolutely done nothing and it's nothing but a pillow fight with him uh against hillary

00:12:21.320 clinton and the corrupt uh clinton apparatus robert f kennedy jr is the exact opposite when he talks and

00:12:29.120 he writes and he puts out books it's hammer time and he's a smart guy and they come out and say oh

00:12:35.600 everything children's health defense does is all false things well hold it you sit there on a debate

00:12:40.480 stage you have him come back at you you're not gonna be able to have people throw up those kind of

00:12:44.300 false charges and you look at when they when the children's health defense and others are hit with

00:12:48.940 all this type of research they come right back to you we think the people there are absolutely

00:12:53.540 fantastic and we think the way they presented their case is absolutely fantastic and we see that message

00:12:59.160 also informs a lot of the parental rights movement that message that hey i've got you know i i'm the one

00:13:05.620 that's got responsibility for my kids i don't co-parent with the government that all blends into the

00:13:10.780 parents rights movement which is the most significant uh domestic movement i think we've gotten to the

00:13:16.680 fact that you see that tiffany justice and tina deskovitz are as constantly bombarded with being

00:13:22.780 domestic terrorists and and being fascist and being uh you know anti uh you know not not human not

00:13:30.140 humane not kind not empathetic the robert f kennedy jr campaign really starts as a crusade it's not

00:13:39.180 really even a political campaign yet i think it's going to get there eventually obviously comes from

00:13:43.500 a very astute political family but it is powerful and it's powerful for the simple reason it's powerful

00:13:51.320 because he's putting out topics discussion that heretofore have been off limits the the convergence

00:14:00.700 of state and corporate power is one of the greatest threats to the liberty and freedom of people in this

00:14:07.440 country it's no doubt it's one of the reasons i'm so down on what mccarthy did mccarthy just codified

00:14:12.040 state and corporate power in in this in this in this budget that's what it did didn't take out any of

00:14:18.100 the woken weaponize and woken weaponize is what we're talking about with that in that merger in the

00:14:24.080 next hour we're going to have uh the the founder and the head news editor from evie magazine and the 0.55

00:14:30.400 reason i'm kind of obsessed about that magazine making sure people subscribe to it is they are besides the

00:14:35.520 photography and the models and the beauty of it and it looks like vanity fair or vogue it is the

00:14:40.240 driving force of a counter-revolution against big pharma and against this kind of modern post-industrial

00:14:46.480 capitalism that really has taken i think young women in a totally in a in a in a in a dangerous

00:14:52.640 direction and it's not me saying that look at all the statistics about mental health look at all the

00:14:57.880 statistics about about a suicide attempt by young women that's why evie magazine very much and it was

00:15:05.860 really predicated a lot about uh vaccine hesitancy not anti-vax but vaccine hesitancy and you're going

00:15:12.760 to hear from them the founders have created an incredibly successful uh website and a magazine

00:15:20.720 off of that that is having already a huge impact how do i know that rolling stones coming out has come

00:15:26.400 out with a very negative takedown of it just like rolling stone these other magazines are all over

00:15:30.360 the moms for liberty if you're having an impact like children's health defense moms for liberty evie

00:15:34.920 magazine particularly if you're women driven moms for liberty female driven uh children's health

00:15:40.560 defense female driven evie magazine female driven you can't go off the plant you can't go off big

00:15:45.300 farmers plant plantation and this is the reason that robert f kennedy's uh campaign his crusade is

00:15:53.260 having an impact he's talking at a very sophisticated level about the merger of state and corporate

00:15:59.640 power now that merger over the weekend i gave a i gave a talk or a speech up at the third uh anniversary

00:16:07.540 of the new federal state of china and it was i don't know a 40 minute throwdown but it was a throwdown

00:16:12.380 principally about the model the financial business model we have in modern america and it what i try to do

00:16:19.000 is make the case that um you know we told that it's the american elites have always the american

00:16:25.180 elites have always already have already coddled and nurtured the chinese communist party and the

00:16:31.240 whole what they sold people after tiananman square which we just uh did the 34th anniversary

00:16:36.780 yesterday the commemoration of the heroes of tiananman and the founding of the new federal state a couple

00:16:42.860 of years ago as it and as a as a to propel forward the spirit of the goddess of democracy uh that

00:16:50.380 magnificent statue that was uh that was built uh in tiananman square when when deng xiaopeng and the

00:16:55.800 other uh you know the heads of the junta uh shut it down is that the theory that was performed to the

00:17:02.920 american american people as when we saved the chinese communist party the second time in 1989 is that

00:17:08.940 oh we're going to let them in the world trade organization we're going to let them uh we're

00:17:12.460 going to let them um uh have a most favored nation trade status we're going to provide them with 0.70

00:17:17.540 capital and technology and here's the reason because the more that they see free market capitalism

00:17:22.480 the more like us they'll become politically the more uh they'll become a liberal democracy right

00:17:28.240 a liberal representative democracy well in fact the reverse was the case uh their their state

00:17:35.420 capitalism with their authoritarian control that merger of it leads to basically a dictatorship

00:17:41.020 a dictatorship of the few against the many and that's what the chinese communist party is today

00:17:47.320 it's a transnational criminal organization that has total control and total power and it has it's a

00:17:53.340 surveillance state it's really a modern gulag for 1.4 billion people with guess what um sequoia capital

00:18:00.420 and apple and elon musk and all these big corporates jamie diamond jp morgan bank they're all in there

00:18:05.840 what is that the merger of state and corporate power and we have now taken that the chinese didn't

00:18:11.660 change in fact they got tougher and harder and stronger the ccp what changed was the united states 0.52

00:18:17.580 of america that's what robert f kennedy's talking about and that's the merger of state and corporate

00:18:23.160 power that's where you have these oligarchs on wall street that's where you have these oligarchs 0.99

00:18:27.640 in silicon valley that's why they have their uniparty puppets that's why you just got

00:18:32.340 this is why you just got the spending bill they're not gonna make any cuts everything in the foreground

00:18:38.160 was totally performative there were no cuts we talked about in the previous there are no cuts

00:18:41.840 there are no cuts at all it's just the ability to spend 6.8 trillion dollars and to run it up with

00:18:48.520 uh with a phony uh the federal reserve creating a fiat currency just to pay for it

00:18:53.000 in the treasury running up more debt this is what we talked about this morning the saudis

00:18:58.920 have revolted and said we can't do that anymore opic's not going to do that they they're going to

00:19:02.680 husband their resources and we want higher prices we want to sell you less we want to husband those 1.00

00:19:07.520 resources and if you're going to devalue devalue your dollar we want more dollars how about this 0.54

00:19:12.440 suck on this 80 a barrel maybe 100 a barrel this is what robert f kennedy's talking about that's why 0.66

00:19:18.960 that voice is needed in this point in time this voice is needed do i support it what i support 0.98

00:19:24.760 from a populist nationalist perspective is to have this debate and you can see at msmec the really the

00:19:31.160 font of uh of progressivism they under no circumstances want to really have a debate with

00:19:37.780 robert f kennedy jr robert f kennedy jr he knows he hasn't been on msmec if he goes on msmec

00:19:42.460 he will blow up those uh he'll blow up those hosts can you imagine him with uh with joy's joy

00:19:48.840 reed right or chris hayes right or can you imagine with any of the the evening host i'd love to see

00:19:55.560 him up with richard maddow he would bring the heat they will not have him on there because they boycott

00:20:00.540 that they don't even want to have the debate they don't want to put forth any information let's go

00:20:05.980 ahead i think i've got uh some uh i think i've got a couple clips for my speech let's go and play a

00:20:10.380 clip from the speech where i try to connect these dots right here uh and then i'm gonna come back

00:20:14.660 get some commentary the next half hour we've got the evie magazine and i call them they're

00:20:19.560 revolutionaries just like sam adams and john hancock because they cut to the actual heart of

00:20:25.360 this convergence of state and corporate uh power let's go ahead and play the clips uh yesterday from

00:20:30.960 darlington uh darlington house to actually confront combat and eventually take down the ccp 1.00

00:20:38.540 the new federal state offers itself as an alternative for the chinese people and here's

00:20:43.600 the reason the chinese communist party is not a legitimate government every day beijing gets

00:20:49.200 weaker and the new federal state gets stronger the ccp must be destroyed this organization just 1.00

00:20:55.320 needs your energy keep going if we all have the common work program take down the ccp if we keep 1.00

00:21:01.640 doing that we're going to do it one more time fuck she we don't want unity we want victory victory or 1.00

00:21:07.360 death we're going to take this country back then we're going to take down the chinese communist party 1.00

00:21:11.580 are you with me if your task and purpose is to take your country back this country will be saved

00:21:18.920 war room here's your host stephen k band

00:22:47.960 remember where he was 34 years ago he was in a prison too remember he got rolled up

00:22:53.640 why did they all get rolled up on may 26th and 27th why why why because the students

00:23:04.920 of the fine arts academy in beijing started to build the goddess of democracy

00:23:14.280 and the corrupt transnational criminal organization that is the chinese communist party by the way

00:23:23.240 backed by the world's elites backed by the world's elites could not take that they tolerated what

00:23:31.400 went on in Tiananmen until those young art students and those young protesters started to put up the

00:23:38.920 goddess of democracy why couldn't they do that they understood that that was an image as powerful as

00:23:44.200 the statue of liberty and that would incite a revolution throughout mainland china and that's

00:23:50.040 when they came up with the plan to eradicate it they didn't care if they killed 10 000 20 000 30 000

00:23:56.600 40 000 50 000 people of which they probably did massacre

00:24:04.440 okay you can go to our rumble site you can also go to worm.org

00:24:21.320 to see the entire speech i think there's a little better edited uh quality of the one we got up

00:24:38.440 there but uh uh a lot went into that speech i i think it's 30 or 40 minutes long but i kind of lay

00:24:44.600 out the whole case i want everybody to try to uh see it we'll also make some cuts and talk more about

00:24:48.920 it um robert f kennedy jr the case against the administrative state the case against the deep

00:24:57.000 state you have this being attacked now by many angles legal etc but he's got the most the clearest

00:25:03.800 view of what the problem is this merger of state and corporate power and that is why they're trying to

00:25:08.840 shut down his campaign in every way this is a crusade it must be heard okay we're taking a short

00:25:14.600 break when we come back two extraordinary young women they have launched really a uh a a a magazine

00:25:22.200 that quite frankly is it's it blows me away of the quality of it the beauty of it the photography

00:25:27.720 of it the models in it it is like vogue or vanity fair even a better copy of that most importantly

00:25:33.320 it has a revolutionary message and that message is uh the bio uh medical the biopharma

00:25:41.800 industrial complex is destroying women and they're standing up against that to the fact that rolling 1.00

00:25:48.840 stone magazine is coming after them uh it is uh we're going to have gina floria back on the news 0.80

00:31:31.880 war room battleground with stephen k bannon

00:31:37.560 welcome back as i talked about in the in the five o'clock hour in the morning show and then

00:31:42.440 last week this economist story about alternative economy being built uh and how powerful it is

00:31:48.840 and the purchasing power as you guys know as this audience knows there's a magazine and it's so tough

00:31:55.640 in kind of the magazine industry today to even make these great titles that have been around forever

00:32:00.360 survive there's a there's a new title it's been out for a couple of years evie magazine and we've been

00:32:05.560 very honored to have one of the editors uh the the editor on including last week to talk about uh the

00:32:11.800 incredible coverage as i said the photography the magazine itself and the website is pretty

00:32:16.680 extraordinary so we have both the founder and we have uh gene is back to join us uh the editor the

00:32:22.600 news editor but also the founder uh britney martinez could you this is such a courageous move

00:32:31.240 given how the killing field that is the modern magazine industry how did you conceive this and and and

00:32:39.000 what was the vision that actually drove you because this magazine is i we had gina on last week it's

00:32:45.320 like you picked up vogue or like you picked up vanity fair and the quality of what gina's done as

00:32:52.120 editor the stories are are amazing and i realize i'm right but i i'm a big believer and i love even you

00:32:58.680 know the economist financial times vanity fair i love well edited and well written uh magazines and

00:33:04.920 newspapers this is incredibly i mean this is the quality of vanity fair or vogue or any of these

00:33:10.280 other bizarre uh and the photography is quite frankly breathtaking so walk us through your vision

00:33:15.960 and and how do we get here to have this great site well i started evie because i realized that women 1.00

00:33:22.680 wanted an alternative publication to what they've been having for years you know back in the day women 1.00

00:33:27.880 would read magazines for beauty advice and romance and love and now it's just all very progressive

00:33:34.600 far left hookup culture feminism it's just you know it's not the same as it used to be and we 0.97

00:33:41.240 recently had a hit piece in the rolling stone and the girl who um was so triggered by evie magazine

00:33:48.840 the first thing she said when she read the magazine was that it reminded her of a magazine she read back

00:33:53.720 when she was 13 and 14 and that was kind of our vision creating beautiful magazines of the past now

00:33:59.400 magazines are primarily filled with ads um when there are stories they're overly political to one

00:34:05.240 extreme so we just wanted to bring women back to how you know the kind of nostalgia how it was in the

00:34:10.680 80s and 90s but also give them good values and help them find love and romance

00:34:17.400 so tell us how you uh we're going to get to gene in a second because some of the even these articles

00:34:21.240 this anti-pill revolution is a such a deep cultural issue today how did how did you pull

00:34:27.240 the rest of it together the given how woke the industry is in entertainment i mean the models the

00:34:33.080 photographers the places you go to the quality of the paper the paper stock i mean walk us through how

00:34:39.000 you pulled the whole thing together because you know it was a great and carter there's a big

00:34:43.160 interview with him uh i think it uh i think it uh uh over the weekend atlantic magazine where he's

00:34:49.560 talking about how you know even a guy like him is having a tough time in the business how did you do

00:34:54.600 a startup i don't know any startups that really have worked in the magazine industry particularly

00:34:58.920 at this scale with this level of of quality photography and uh and uh in settings and and

00:35:05.160 and the great models you have oh thank you so much um i was really fortunate i've been modeling

00:35:11.080 since i was 16 now i'm mostly you know working on my two companies and still do it here and there

00:35:17.160 but i know so many of the top photographers just from working with them and you would be surprised

00:35:23.160 by how many old school top photographers are really tired of the era of ugliness of they're really

00:35:30.200 tired of the woke so even the classically liberal photographers are fans of evie um a lot of

00:35:37.800 big older publications are fans of evie and like i'm just gonna say you'd be surprised how many

00:35:44.040 supermodels how many celebrities are actually on our side they're just afraid to speak up and say

00:35:49.160 something that's because it's so the industry is so brutal all right not even the industry the

00:35:55.960 people that surround the industry are so brutal of if you want to know real council cancel culture

00:36:01.400 it's in the entertainment and uh in the industry the modeling industry and fashion where you can't

00:36:06.680 come out of line uh i think i i think even carl lagerfeld they they had something here recently

00:36:12.280 with him and they're saying oh the met the the met uh annual fashion was the thing about lagerfeld and

00:36:17.720 they wanted to cancel that because they didn't like his some of his political writings is that so this

00:36:22.440 is the most cancer culture anywhere probably in fashion but honestly i think since covet what happened

00:36:30.040 is you know i lived in los angeles for years a lot of the people in los angeles and new york were

00:36:35.320 anti-vax period so they were like going to air one like the expensive grocery stores they wouldn't eat

00:36:41.320 gmos they were all into organic and then after the whole covet forced backs came out they were all really

00:36:48.840 nervous because they didn't put anything in their bodies that they didn't 100 know what was going into

00:36:53.400 their bodies um so i think that caused a major shift where finally people were just over it and

00:37:00.760 even super liberal people are getting canceled for the most random things like not being

00:37:07.640 woke enough or whatnot so i think everyone's just kind of over it um and i think that's why evie's

00:37:12.920 reached 100 million women the last couple of years and i think that's why the rolling stone and other 0.98

00:37:18.040 big former big media publications are coming after us you know that's we started this hour with uh

00:37:25.800 going through msnbc over the weekend was talking about robert f kennedy jr and how his uh campaign is

00:37:32.040 is is is getting traction of course he uh you know he gave he's gave an interview uh with uh with elon

00:37:38.200 moss so he's even getting more on twitter he's even getting more traction and they accused they accused me

00:37:43.080 of being in the back of the of the of his presidential run or being one of the hands in it which

00:37:47.720 we're not uh but it's because the war room has been a very not anti-vax but vaccine hesitant i mean

00:37:54.040 we provided a platform for people to question and particularly we're definitely the anti-covid vax

00:37:59.480 but we're not anti-vax but we're anti-hesitant but the i came out of the entertainment industry for years

00:38:06.120 britney the number of people that reached out to me and said hey we watch the show we can't tell

00:38:10.040 people we watch the show we watch it because you're providing the only platform out there

00:38:13.640 uh and we got canceled everywhere youtube twitter um uh you know we got everywhere uh for uh for

00:38:22.760 providing a platform so you felt you think that that's the line of demarcation that a lot of people

00:38:27.080 uh these thinking creatives uh understood that in the covet lockdowns the mass mandates and

00:38:32.840 particularly the vaccine that something was up and they had to start uh they could maybe couldn't come

00:38:37.640 out publicly but they would continue to support things that uh that that got that message out

00:38:43.320 somehow yeah i think there has been a big shift um and i know gina can attest to this um as an editor 0.91

00:38:49.960 but even in los angeles you know there's such an obsession with your body and a lot of the women writing the 1.00

00:38:56.120 body positivity pieces are very skinny white women who are going to air one for lunch or having their green 1.00

00:39:01.800 juice for breakfast who are going to pilates at 5 a.m before work so these people telling lizzo like

00:39:07.080 yes queen keep it up would freak out if they gain five pounds so i think what americans don't realize 1.00

00:39:13.160 is a lot of what people are pushing is just more virtue signaling signaling it's not actually

00:39:18.920 because they care about women because like they would never ever allow themselves to have that happen

00:39:25.480 um but yeah i do think the vax because we were never like anti-vax but we were vaccine

00:39:31.320 hesitant and you know i don't think that people should be forced to take anything they don't

00:39:36.040 want to take so that got us in a lot of trouble you know particularly particularly when you let

00:39:42.120 particularly well it's not going to get you out of trouble now because it's becoming more and more

00:39:45.560 evident particularly about the vaccine injuries so people are vaccine hesitant and wanted only an open

00:39:50.360 debate that's all we called for was it was so one-sided on msnbc and cnn it was like it was obviously

00:39:56.360 just propaganda propaganda you couldn't it was like in stalin's russia gina can you can you join us

00:40:02.280 for a second this anti-pill because i think this gets to the power of not just the beauty of of the

00:40:09.000 layout and and and fashion which which women love but there's something going on here very deep with

00:40:16.600 women and it's about uh the pharmaceutical industry and and i want you to draw because this article on the

00:40:22.760 anti-birth control revolution gets to much many more deep issues about women in modern uh in modern 0.98

00:40:31.320 capitalism walk us through this because and i think this is where i see a lot of articles of yours

00:40:37.000 put these articles forward well reported well edited well written that totally go against the the

00:40:42.840 current narrative particularly as the biopharmaceutical industry really drives so much of a modern american

00:40:48.840 the economy and culture absolutely the birth control pill i believe is one of the most detrimental

00:40:57.560 things to ever be handed to women in the united states it has caused a very high rates of infertility 0.99

00:41:03.640 it has encouraged women to participate in hookup culture it has encouraged women to delay or resist 0.98

00:41:12.680 getting married and starting a family and these all as we know have terrible effects on our society as a

00:41:17.880 whole but i think what's even worse is that big pharma is is in bed with the conventional medical

00:41:26.120 system and so now you have all of these doctors ob gyns and all of these mainstream experts who have

00:41:33.240 been given a god complex by our society and they claim that there are no side effects to the birth

00:41:38.520 control pill if there are side effects they're very minor and it's nothing compared to the benefits you get

00:41:44.520 from the pill and then they hand out the pill to girls as young as 14 and 15 years old and there is

00:41:50.520 so much research coming out now that girls who take the birth control pill in their teenage years they 0.75

00:41:57.400 have extremely negative side effects that last their entire life it's much more detrimental to start taking

00:42:03.400 the pill at a younger age before your body has fully matured which is just common sense we know that but

00:42:08.440 you have all these doctors that um are backed up by big pharma and they're handing the pill out as if

00:42:14.680 it's candy to these young teenagers so you're setting up this young generation to go into adulthood being

00:42:21.720 sick uh potentially ruining their ruining their fertility encouraging them to sleep around with multiple 0.94

00:42:27.560 men and not prioritize committed love not prioritize family marriage motherhood and i think it's having such a

00:42:35.000 a ruinous effect in our society and we're just now starting to see a little bit of a shift where women are 1.00

00:42:41.080 starting to ask questions gosh i've been on the pill for 10 12 years and now that i come off of it i don't have my

00:42:46.840 regular cycle i can't get pregnant and women are starting to ask more questions and i like to believe that evie is 1.00

00:42:52.440 leading the charge of that online we're encouraging women to ask questions encouraging women to seek out alternative

00:42:59.000 natural ways to prevent pregnancy because here's something that a lot of people don't know most

00:43:05.720 doctors in medical school they are taught that women can get pregnant on any day that they're not 0.93

00:43:11.480 menstruating that is false so this just this right here is setting up women to not understand what their 0.99

00:43:18.600 natural hormonal cycle is and so you have all these women who are told that the only way to prevent 1.00

00:43:24.600 pregnancy is to take synthetic hormones these pseudo hormones that shut down the connection 0.90

00:43:29.720 between your brain and your ovaries so you do not ovulate at all you also do not get your natural

00:43:35.240 menstrual cycle and your hormones your natural hormones are completely suppressed and replaced by

00:43:40.040 pseudo hormones we don't need peer-reviewed studies to even tell us that this is not good for women 1.00

00:43:45.480 and yet there's plenty of research showing that it has terrible effects there are even research showing that

00:43:50.840 the pill changes women's sexual preferences it makes them more interested in feminine men they're 1.00

00:43:56.680 less interested in men who are masculine who are strong so i think in many ways the birth control pill

00:44:02.520 is one of the worst things that has ever happened to american women what you're seeing is uh and i don't

00:44:10.120 say this lightly you're seeing john hancock and sam adams of the revolutionary generation because right there

00:44:17.480 and i want to britney when you have a news editor that is obviously brilliant but really lays out the 1.00

00:44:24.680 case to go against the not just the mainstream thinking i mean the way that modern american

00:44:32.920 capitalism works with big pharma driving so much of it you as a publisher of a magazine because you're

00:44:38.680 going to have this beautiful photography it's going to be about fashion walk me through the trade-offs when

00:44:43.000 you sit there go i got it but and this is more than just an article this is a driving counter-narrative

00:44:49.560 that will lead to fundamental change in our society as a publisher of that magazine how do you go about

00:44:55.080 balancing everything you have to do to make sure that uh gina's voice and the voice of those writers that

00:45:01.080 she gathers around are heard well gina is actually one of our editors um and obviously she's brilliant 0.99

00:45:09.000 she went to a great school she worked at a rival media publication so she knows that side as well

00:45:16.120 so we've been very fortunate to find such incredible editors who know the ev voice and make sure all the

00:45:21.960 writers sound good but i mean we found so many great writers too that have been coming to us from

00:45:26.600 other publications that you know finally found a magazine that makes them feel like they have friends

00:45:33.240 you know horrible way to put it gina what gina when you lay out a case like that

00:45:41.160 they're coming at you guys i mean this is one of the reasons for the rolling stone thing they realize

00:45:44.600 that evie magazine is the tip of the spear of something deeper and and uh and more powerful so

00:45:54.280 they're going to come at you from every direction how do you continue to bring in writers how do you guys

00:45:59.880 come through this because the case you just made really goes against quite frankly you know a trillion

00:46:07.400 dollar industry well we make it very clear from the beginning that our priority is truly empowering

00:46:15.320 women and that is uh that's a tagline that has been used by many legacy media companies by a lot of 0.95

00:46:22.120 digital media magazines that cater to women um before i started working for evie i mean years ago

00:46:28.440 i worked for a lot of women's publications online that were extremely left-leaning the mainstream 0.86

00:46:34.040 publications that are considered our competitors today and they claim to be the voice for women

00:46:40.040 they claim to want to empower women but their definition of empowering women is encouraging them to sleep 1.00

00:46:45.240 with multiple men to kill their own baby in the womb to resist marriage to be incredibly unhealthy

00:46:52.200 obese overweight and so at evie we start off with this very simple goal we want to improve women's

00:46:59.560 lives because we know that women are we're the bedrock of the family we bring life into the world 0.98

00:47:06.200 if we have an entire generation of unhealthy unhappy isolated women who aren't who have no knowledge of 1.00

00:47:13.320 their own body and their own health that's setting up our future to look pretty bleak and that's not

00:47:18.920 setting up the next generation to look any good either so at evie we always lead with we want women 1.00

00:47:23.720 to lead happy healthy lives and in a recent survey we found that 76 of ev readers have said that evie

00:47:30.520 content has helped them live happier healthier lives you can't get any better than that that's that that's

00:47:36.040 our goal so when we want to bring in new writers when we want to share our content with with new

00:47:41.560 readers that's what we always lead with and we understand that beauty and truth are inseparable

00:47:47.160 so just like britney said we wanted to produce a magazine that a magazine and a website that looks

00:47:52.600 stunning when you look at it you feel wow that's so beautiful women are meant to represent beauty in 0.72

00:47:57.960 the world i believe that's one of our sacred duties but beauty is not just skin deep it's not just a shallow

00:48:03.320 thing where someone looks pretty beauty is inseparable from truth and so at evie we always lead with wanting

00:48:09.640 to empower women but understanding that when you seek beauty you will also find truth and so we

00:48:15.560 always have legacy legacy media companies like rolling stone coming after us and telling us that

00:48:20.040 we are extremist we're far-right extremists simply because we want to help women understand that the 0.50

00:48:26.520 birth control pool has some side effects we want to help women understand their natural bodily functions 0.97

00:48:32.520 and somehow that has been labeled extremist but when you are being attacked by these companies that promote

00:48:38.760 horrible values to their readers that's i think we know we're on the right track

00:48:45.880 britney is when you hear all the statistics about young girls and the unhappiness and the suicide 0.88

00:48:50.920 rates and they're in the they're ashamed of their bodies and all this they have mental health 0.86

00:48:55.080 problems and now the politicians say mental health writing back at climate change mental health the

00:48:59.320 biggest thing biggest thing particularly for young women do you believe that your magazine and and what 0.97

00:49:04.920 you're trying to accomplish at the website and what evie stands for do you believe you can counter that

00:49:10.520 oh 100 i think um the millennial generation you know watched sex in the city had cosmo like what they grew

00:49:18.120 up on was terrible for women's mental health and now we're seeing the detriments of what happened so we want

00:49:24.600 to impact the next generation of women with evie magazine

00:49:31.720 i gotta tell you guys are doing an incredible job how they britney how do people get to the website how

00:49:36.280 do they really get to enjoy the beauty and the photography and the fashion and also get to see the

00:49:41.800 uh the great articles where do they go i mean the absolute best thing you can do to support us we just

00:49:47.000 launched um relaunched our website so it's faster you can bookmark articles it's a lot more personalized

00:49:53.640 more beautiful if you subscribe to evie magazine dot com uh we have a print issue and we have

00:49:58.760 digital subscriptions but that is by far the best way to help us grow to help us impact women despite

00:50:04.440 all these attacks so go to evie magazine dot com click subscribe to digital and print and then you'll

00:50:09.400 get the annual print issue as well which is the one you're holding in your hands the print issue is

00:50:15.800 amazing the website the photography is just incredible one more time where do people go to uh to subscribe

00:50:20.840 evie magazine dot com evie magazine dot com

00:50:28.120 britney amazing this is what the economist was talking about there's an alternative

00:50:32.200 economy and trust me this economy is going to be bigger than the uh than the uh the economy that we

00:50:37.720 inherited um gina real quickly we got about a minute uh articles that are coming up can you just tease

00:50:45.800 some things that people are going to see on the site in the next couple of weeks yes a big

00:50:51.000 investigative piece that i'll be working on soon is taking a deep dive into surrogacy um the the

00:50:56.200 industry of surrogacy has become much more popular we've seen a lot of famous celebrities a lot of

00:51:01.080 influencers and just a lot more everyday couples who are opting in to um create a little baby in a petri

00:51:08.360 dish and hire surrogates to bring that baby into the world and then take the baby home within hours of the 1.00

00:51:13.880 baby being born but there is a lot about the surrogacy industry that women don't really know much about 0.98

00:51:19.320 and i think that it's time that we start to ask some deeper questions about what's what's really

00:51:24.760 happening in this industry and how it impacts women how it impacts children how it impacts families

00:51:29.880 so that's a big investigative piece that we're working on soon we we like to do pieces like this

00:51:34.360 at evie because this is not the kind of content that you're really going to see anywhere else

00:51:38.760 um and we'll certainly continue doing more investigative pieces on the birth control pill as

00:51:42.600 well okay i want everybody to go i want you to describe today because this is a uh a counter to

00:51:50.200 this great tragedies fallen on young women in our country uh britney martinez the founder and gina
