00:01:34.280 You are right now ready to shoot.
00:01:36.280 You are in jail.
00:01:38.280 I know you have so many walls.
00:01:40.280 The fact that we have terror sympathizers in this building is unacceptable.
00:01:46.280 They should not be allowed in here.
00:01:48.280 What is happening in Israel is a forest.
00:01:50.280 Absolutely not.
00:01:52.280 The fact that we have terror sympathizers in this building is unacceptable.
00:01:56.280 They should not be allowed in here.
00:01:58.280 What is happening in Israel is a forest.
00:02:00.280 That's what it is.
00:02:02.280 And the next time he tries to accost me with a child in my hand, I want him out of here.
00:02:08.280 He's an animal.
00:02:10.280 He is a fucking terrorist sympathizer.
00:02:14.280 Who? Mr. Santos, who?
00:02:18.280 Hunterston Santos, who?
00:02:20.280 The gentleman back there is a terrorist sympathizer that has no business in this building.
00:02:26.280 What is happening in Israel is abhorrent.
00:02:28.280 What is happening to the people of Israel should not be defended.
00:02:32.280 Nobody defending Hamas has any business in this building, whether you're elected,
00:02:38.280 whether you're a civilian.
00:02:40.280 It is a disgrace that we allow people to parade that kind of thought in here.
00:02:44.280 Welcome.
00:02:46.280 Welcome.
00:02:48.280 It is our Friday early evening show, 13 October.
00:02:52.280 You're for Lord 2023.
00:02:54.280 Bibi Netanyahu addressed the nation as the special forces element moves in to Gaza.
00:03:00.280 Of course, massive rallies all over the world against that.
00:03:04.280 In fact, Nelson, we played in the earlier hour, Nelson Mandela's grandson leading a massive rally.
00:03:12.280 We've got to go in Capitol Hill.
00:03:14.280 It's on a knife's edge.
00:03:15.280 Congressman Santos, George Santos of New York 3 joins us.
00:03:20.280 Sir, that is going viral.
00:03:22.280 Can you explain to our audience what exactly happened?
00:03:24.280 The early part of this where you had your staffers, I guess, baby in your arms.
00:03:29.280 We couldn't get video of.
00:03:30.280 Walk us through exactly what happened and what what got you so worked up.
00:03:35.280 Hi, Steve.
00:03:36.280 Well, thanks for having me.
00:03:37.280 So it's it's it's it's already contentious here.
00:03:40.280 We're trying to find our speaker.
00:03:41.280 And I one of my staffers had a baby in and I just had him went over to show him to another member.
00:03:48.280 And as I'm doing that, that man and that woman decided to pin me up against the wall as I'm holding a child
00:03:54.280 and literally pointing fingers in my face as I'm defenseless and can't can't defend myself talking about Israel being terrorists and killing people in the Palestine.
00:04:05.280 Quite frankly, the man was here defending the actions of Hamas that killed 260 festival goers on a surprise attack
00:04:12.280 and has led to over a thousand Jews being killed in Israel in the first 24 hours of that conflict.
00:04:18.280 The man was here defending terrorism in the halls of Congress, the same halls that we have people walking around to defend this nation and this world from terrorists.
00:04:30.280 Just 22 years after the 9-11 attacks in New York City.
00:04:34.280 I won't stand for it, Steve.
00:04:36.280 Not not on my watch.
00:04:39.280 Is he did he actually say or tell you or the woman told you it was is he actually Jewish?
00:04:45.280 I have no clue who he is.
00:04:47.280 Quite frankly, I don't give a rat's ass who he is, what he is.
00:04:50.280 He has no business in here.
00:04:52.280 If you walk in here, you can tell me you're Jesus Christ incarnate.
00:04:55.280 But if you're going to peddle pro Hamas, pro terrorist talking points, you can get out of here.
00:05:01.280 I have no you have no right.
00:05:04.280 I don't even care if you're elected or a civilian.
00:05:07.280 The fact that I have colleagues at the other side of the aisle peddling pro terrorist commentary in here is a disgrace.
00:05:15.280 Just think about it this way.
00:05:16.280 Every single member of the Republican Party that does not support funding a endless bottom pit of money to Ukraine is called a terrorist that were sympathizers of Vladimir Putin when that's absolutely not true.
00:05:29.280 But when we have members of the squad, including Cori Bush, AOC, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, literally saying that they support Palestine and that there should be a seized fire.
00:05:41.280 Are you kidding after they take heinous actions of terror on peaceful Israelis?
00:05:48.280 They're the terrorist sympathizers.
00:05:50.280 These are the terrorists in our own body.
00:05:52.280 The enemy is within, Steve.
00:05:54.280 We're we're living in an America where we have the enemy legislating in Congress.
00:06:01.280 Congressman Santos, isn't it they get they're out front.
00:06:06.280 But isn't it true that over on the the more radical side of the Democratic Party in the House, which is at least 50 percent of them, that that sentiment runs a lot deeper than just the squad?
00:06:19.280 Of course it does.
00:06:20.280 You have Jamal Bowman, Pramila Jayapal and a whole bunch of others.
00:06:23.280 Look, just this week, Sri, the member from Michigan, resigned from the DSA.
00:06:29.280 Then his Palestinian comms director comes out and starts smearing him with the help of the infrastructure of the alt right.
00:06:36.280 And here here's the deal.
00:06:37.280 Sri is a pretty far left leaning member of this body.
00:06:41.280 But even for him, the actions of Hamas and the support Hamas is receiving from the DSA was too much.
00:06:49.280 Then from within his own infrastructure, he gets blown up.
00:06:54.280 That's how deep it runs, Steve.
00:06:56.280 They're in their staffers.
00:06:58.280 They're members.
00:06:59.280 They're all over the place.
00:07:00.280 It is a dangerous, dangerous place to be when we know that in the body that we serve to protect us from foreign foes, adversaries and terror, we have terrorist organization sympathizers.
00:07:15.280 Congressman, a lot of people at home don't know this, but when you go over into Congress, if you can get through the screening of weapons, whatever, you have all sorts of types wandering these halls right now, don't you?
00:07:26.280 You do. Look, the fact that it's 2023, 22 years after 9-11, and I had to stomach today being called the day of jihad, going through security of protocols, going through all sorts of briefings for safety for myself and my staff.
00:07:41.280 The fact that this is the United States and we need to worry about a day that celebrates extremism and that it celebrates terrorist extremism, that is insane, that is abhorrent, that is vile.
00:07:52.280 And the fact that they're allowed to walk these halls of Congress and accost members of Congress while we're trying to do our job is even worse.
00:08:01.280 What you saw there on that open of yours, Steve, was me reaching my tipping point when this man tells me, F that baby, what about the babies in Palestine?
00:08:11.280 Are you kidding me? I don't care. Palestine and Gaza, they've been brewing hate and fomenting terrorism for decades.
00:08:19.280 They breed hate, hatred towards Israelis, hatred towards Jews.
00:08:24.280 We have seen the videos. We have seen what is coming out of there.
00:08:29.280 If I have a staffer of mine that just came back from Europe and there's no FCC controlling and censoring what makes it to television there, what he was having access to would really be important for Americans to start.
00:08:41.280 We should be laxing the FCC regulations so we can actually see what is happening in Israel, the carnage that Hamas and the Palestinians are causing backed by Iran.
00:08:53.280 And I'm pretty sure the CCP's money is all over this because there is no way that Hamas and the Palestinians had the ability to pull this off without any help from Iran, any help from the CCP.
00:09:06.280 This is all interconnected. I will bet.
00:09:08.280 And I'm not much of a betting man, but I will bet that there's their fingerprints all over the place on this.
00:09:15.280 Listen, given this, given the historic nature of New York with with 9-11 and before that, we're trying to take down the, you know, it was a 93 trying to take down the World Trade Center with a bomb is.
00:09:27.280 And you've seen these, quite frankly, I'm shocked, mass rallies down in Times Square and throughout New York City.
00:09:33.280 Has DHS, have you requested or the other members of the Republican delegation in New York requested any type of briefing about DHS, about what they are doing right now to make sure that people on Long Island and in Manhattan and all the boroughs are safe?
00:09:50.280 Because it's only going to get worse as the IDF starts to go into Gaza.
00:09:57.280 They've already requested 1.1 million Palestinians or Gazans get to the south of Gaza.
00:10:03.280 Egypt's cut off the border.
00:10:05.280 So people are going to be jammed up.
00:10:07.280 The images are obviously going to be, how do I say this, quite brutal.
00:10:11.280 What's going to happen to residents, American citizens in the greater New York City area?
00:10:16.280 Well, here's the deal, Steve.
00:10:18.280 We've received a classified briefing, joint classified briefing the other day.
00:10:22.280 The reality is the information given there and the requests we've made, I have very little faith that this president is capable enough at this point to do his job.
00:10:31.280 The fact that I have a friend of mine, a good colleague, an honorable man in Corey Mills doing the president's job for him and evacuating constituents from all of our congressional districts out of Israel right now should tell you everything you need to know.
00:10:43.280 But here's something I can tell you.
00:10:45.280 If the FBI stopped persecuting all the MAGA supporters and all Republicans and actually start doing their job and trying to find out where did this flyer come from?
00:10:56.280 What's the FBI?
00:10:57.280 Who are the organizers?
00:10:58.280 Who are the rally organizers?
00:10:59.280 Who are the rally organizers?
00:11:00.280 That's where they're going to find cells.
00:11:01.280 That's where they're going to find the hotbed of terrorism within the walls and the confinements of this country.
00:11:05.280 That's how they're going to find all the terrorists coming in through the southern border that we already know 200 were apprehended.
00:11:10.280 But how many more made it through without apprehension?
00:11:13.280 That's what the FBI should focus on and then dump them onto the DOJ and have the DOJ prosecute these people and put them where they belong in a deep, dark hole in Guantanamo Bay where they're never going to be seen or heard of from again.
00:11:27.280 But instead, we have this this administration trying to commute sentences of terrorists involved on 9-11.
00:11:34.280 We have this administration really releasing political prisoners from Iran and conceding six billion dollars of money to flush their coffers.
00:11:43.280 You can't convince me that the six billion dollars being released doesn't impact the decision of Iran to divert some of their money, cash on hand, to other activities because they know they can go dip into six billion to cover for where they're uncovering.
00:11:57.280 That's just the reality of what we're dealing with, Steve.
00:12:00.280 Nobody is serious.
00:12:01.280 The FBI isn't acting seriously.
00:12:02.280 If the FBI wants to act seriously, they would put above and above all, they would put safety and national security above all the other political nonsense that we're witnessing right now in this country.
00:12:16.280 Congressman, Eric Adams went to Mexico, went down to Central America, but really didn't make a very compelling case.
00:12:22.280 New York City is still a sanctuary city.
00:12:24.280 Todd Benzman tells us the numbers are being reworked from September 400,000.
00:12:29.280 That would be 40 combat divisions came across the southern border.
00:12:33.280 Hezbollah is is very active in Central America and in Latin America.
00:12:39.280 You look at the Roosevelt Hotel, you look at Midtown Manhattan.
00:12:42.280 Are you confident that DHS has their hands on top or really understands what's going on with just the illegal alien invaders that have come across the border in the last couple of months?
00:12:53.280 Absolutely not.
00:12:54.280 Look, the reality is and truth and honesty is there.
00:12:57.280 Nobody has a hand on anything.
00:12:59.280 You can't get a single person in the federal government, myself included, to answer you that question.
00:13:03.280 Do you know why?
00:13:04.280 Because it's an unmitigated disaster, self-inflicted by this president, self-inflicted by his weak administration and the weakest, weakest person we could have seen ahead of this,
00:13:14.280 which is Alejandro, Secretary Mayorkas, who does nothing, has a dereliction of duty, should be impeached, should have been impeached months ago.
00:13:23.280 I have no understanding why the first thing on the docket of Jim Jordan when he becomes speaker should be to impeach Alejandro Mayorkas.
00:13:31.280 The proof is there.
00:13:32.280 It holds to be self-evident.
00:13:34.280 There is no way that they can defend this.
00:13:37.280 He should be removed from office immediately and replaced with somebody competent.
00:13:42.280 And as far as all the migrants in New York City and Eric Adams, I give him a little credit for trying, but he's not trying hard enough.
00:13:50.280 He needs to end the sanctuary city, state and policy for both New York City and get the governor to agree for the state.
00:13:57.280 The fact that tonight we have a city member in custody for lawfully carrying her firearm in New York City should tell you everything you need to know about where the priorities of this government lies.
00:14:11.280 Your constituents, where are their heads on this right now?
00:14:16.280 Your district is a bellwether.
00:14:20.280 It's loaded with patriots and hardworking Americans.
00:14:23.280 Where is their head right now on the war in the Middle East and how it relates to border security and the invasion of our southern border?
00:14:32.280 Look, Steve, I represent the district that is 38 percent Jewish in population, right?
00:14:38.280 I represent the district that is fairly affluent.
00:14:41.280 It's the most affluent district in the state by far.
00:14:44.280 It is the most.
00:14:45.280 It was one of the top four most affluent in the country.
00:14:48.280 The reality is these are hardworking Americans who work hard to attain everything they have and own.
00:14:53.280 They just want peace and prosperity.
00:14:56.280 But instead, they've been dealt high inflation, high taxes, 7,500 migrants in my district and counting.
00:15:04.280 I have a tent city in Belrose, Queens, with at least 1,149 men, bodily-abled men, that can be a cell on their own and activate at any moment.
00:15:15.280 And we don't know who they are, where they've come from.
00:15:18.280 All we know is that they're seeking asylum, and we know that at least 85 percent of them won't even qualify for asylum.
00:15:24.280 This is what the Biden administration has done.
00:15:26.280 NY3 does not want this.
00:15:28.280 Look, I can have all the problems in the world, but the one thing you'll never take away from me is I know my district.
00:15:34.280 I know what my constituents want.
00:15:36.280 I'm out there with them.
00:15:37.280 I am the only member of Congress in New York City that is out there in the fray with them, protests, going to these facilities, trying to shut them down, taking motions along with the constituents to stop and heal and make it slow down the process of growing and spreading these nonsensical policies.
00:15:57.280 But the problem is I'm alone.
00:15:59.280 There is a unit party out there that all they care about is lining their own pockets, specifically on Long Island.
00:16:05.280 The corruption runs deep there.
00:16:07.280 It's all about money when it comes to that.
00:16:09.280 They don't care about the quality of life.
00:16:11.280 So those are the challenges we have ahead of us.
00:16:14.280 NY3 does not want this nonsense in the southern border.
00:16:17.280 NY3 does not support what's going on in the Middle East.
00:16:20.280 Congressman, what's your social media, your website?
00:16:25.280 How do people find out more about you and more about everything you're doing up in NY3?
00:16:29.280 Steve, you can find me on Getter, Twitter, and you can find me on Facebook, Instagram, Rep George Santos.
00:16:37.280 And I'm all over there.
00:16:39.280 And, you know, just come on, engage.
00:16:41.280 And thank you for having me on the show.
00:16:43.280 This is all about taking back our country.
00:16:45.280 This is about fighting for what's right and to calling out what these people truly are.
00:16:49.280 Don't let them fool you.
00:16:50.280 These are terrorist sympathizers.
00:16:52.280 If you sympathize for Palestine, you sympathize for Hamas.
00:16:56.280 And if you do that, you're a terrorist sympathizer.
00:16:59.280 Congressman Santos, thank you very much for joining us on a Friday night.
00:17:04.280 Thank you, Steve.
00:17:06.280 Things are running a little hot over there in the house.
00:17:10.280 Tim Burchett is going to join us in a little while, also out in Park City, Utah.
00:17:14.280 Trent Staggs is going to tell us about this conference that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan had to stop Trump.
00:17:21.280 I want to go now.
00:17:22.280 I got E.J., finally got E.J.
00:17:24.280 And Tony, couldn't get him this morning.
00:17:25.280 E.J., we've been so wrapped up this afternoon.
00:17:28.280 There's so much going on up here with the Jordan situation, with the House Speaker, what's going on in Israel.
00:17:33.280 I have not had a chance to check.
00:17:36.280 Did the federal government ever put out their number, sir?
00:17:39.280 No, Steve, they haven't.
00:17:41.280 And not only that, I actually reached out to the fiscal service earlier today and still haven't gotten a response from them.
00:17:47.280 So we'll see.
00:17:48.280 We'll see.
00:17:49.280 But what I find funny here, Steve, is that if you really wanted to try to bury some really bad news, what would you do?
00:17:56.280 Well, you'd probably release it at about 5 p.m. on a Friday.
00:17:59.280 Well, we just passed that and we still haven't gotten any numbers yet.
00:18:03.280 But what's also strange is the fact that if you go through the daily statements that are put out by the fiscal service of the Treasury, you know, you can effectively compile.
00:18:13.280 It'd be a lot of work.
00:18:14.280 But you could effectively compile your own monthly statement.
00:18:18.280 So we already have a pretty good estimate of what these figures are going to look like.
00:18:22.280 And they're not good.
00:18:23.280 But it begs the question, why on earth is the Treasury stalling like this?
00:18:29.280 Let's go to this.
00:18:32.280 Tell the audience the things we've been tracking because we want to get the receipts.
00:18:37.280 We want any more happy talk that the the the report that you're looking for.
00:18:43.280 What is it specifically?
00:18:45.280 So, Steve, this is a monthly statement that is put out by the Treasury.
00:18:49.280 It details all of the money coming into the federal government and all of the money going out.
00:18:54.280 So it's going to show us where exactly money is being spent.
00:18:58.280 Now, it doesn't give you, for example, where every single cent is spent.
00:19:03.280 It's not going to tell you who got Social Security checks, but it will tell you how much the Social Security Administration as a whole is spending.
00:19:10.280 And what we've seen the last several months now is that the interest payments on the debt, according to this statement, have gotten so large that they have eclipsed all but two line items in the budget, one of which is the Social Security Administration.
00:19:25.280 And then the other is the Department for Health and Human Services.
00:19:28.280 So that gives, I think, a size of scope as to just how bad this problem has gotten the interest on the debt, how much it is costing us to finance our borrowing as a government.
00:19:40.280 Hold on. Hang on for a second. Hang on for a second.
00:19:44.280 You're saying because the HHS would be some sort of combination, maybe Medicare and Medicaid, Social Security, Social Security.
00:19:51.280 Are you telling me that the interest payments already are up at that level?
00:19:55.280 Because those are the biggest, those are the mandatory expenditures.
00:19:58.280 Those are the biggest expenditures that we make.
00:20:01.280 Oh, Steve, that's a great question.
00:20:03.280 So, no, Medicare and Medicaid are going to be broken out separately.
00:20:08.280 And in fact, they themselves are going to have multiple line items.
00:20:12.280 For example, there is no single line item for defense.
00:20:15.280 You would have to take multiple line items and add those together to get the entire bloated defense budget.
00:20:22.280 So when you're talking about these individual line items, you're talking about smaller organizations within larger branches or, excuse me, larger sections of the executive branch typically.
00:20:37.280 Why is this so important for us?
00:20:39.280 Why have we made such a big deal about looking at this?
00:20:41.280 Why have we why have you said we got to get to the receipts?
00:20:44.280 Why is it so important?
00:20:46.280 Steve, because our current path is completely unsustainable.
00:20:50.280 I mean, you know, a lot of times federal finances can can be very ethereal and it's difficult to try to actually get your mind around them.
00:20:57.280 So if you just think about this in terms of family finances instead, this is the equivalent of a family racking up tons and tons of credit card debt, much more than they actually earn.
00:21:09.280 And they are in a position where they can't they can't actually pay it back.
00:21:13.280 In fact, it's gotten so bad that the amount of money that they can put towards their essential bills and then also towards the interest charges on this debt is less than what what they actually owe.
00:21:26.280 In other words, they can't even pay the interest on the debt.
00:21:29.280 It's going to continue growing larger and larger, even if they stop using the credit card entirely today.
00:21:36.280 That's where the federal government is.
00:21:38.280 We have spent so much money and wrapped up so much debt that we can't even afford the interest.
00:21:43.280 I want to make sure people understand this.
00:21:46.280 We're never going to pay off a penny of the principal and we keep adding to that.
00:21:51.280 We're going to have our back against the wall even to pay the even to pay the debt, even to pay the debt service on this.
00:21:57.280 As it grows, it's going to be even a bigger struggle.
00:22:00.280 It's going to it's going to consume everything.
00:22:02.280 The other thing, E.J., I want to make sure we get to is that.
00:22:07.280 Even selling the bonds right now, because the market is so concerned about interest rates having to increase, although we're paying now numbers,
00:22:17.280 we haven't paid in what, 20 or 30 years for the 10 year treasuries, the long bond, etc.
00:22:22.280 Treasury is having a very difficult time selling the bonds.
00:22:26.280 The reason is bond buyers are concerned their interest rates go up.
00:22:31.280 The principal, the face amount of the bond will be worth less.
00:22:34.280 There's a bloodbath in the bond market.
00:22:36.280 This is this is what happens in these crises when one problem rolls over to the other.
00:22:41.280 They're inextricably linked and you get inexorably drawn into essentially what a bankruptcy is.
00:22:47.280 If you were a company that couldn't print your own money, this nation is a classic bankruptcy.
00:22:52.280 Right.
00:22:53.280 And speaking of bankruptcy, a lot of people don't realize there are a lot of banks that have gone under this year,
00:23:01.280 and we have a lot more that are teetering.
00:23:03.280 But you know what the first bank that was insolvent was?
00:23:05.280 It was the Federal Reserve.
00:23:07.280 It's sitting on about a trillion dollars of unrealized losses on its balance sheet.
00:23:12.280 And so this idea that somehow things are contained, they're not.
00:23:16.280 They are very much systemic.
00:23:17.280 And to your point, Steve, on these bonds, how much they have lost value.
00:23:22.280 If you bought a government bond when interest rates were at the rock bottom in 2020, those bonds today have lost about half of their value.
00:23:31.280 I mean, people have just been absolutely decimated by this.
00:23:34.280 If you're a retiree or a would-be retiree and you had a large amount of your portfolio, your savings, your investments in bonds, those things have gotten absolutely crushed right now.
00:23:45.280 And the only hope you have is that they don't default.
00:23:50.280 This is what I call a quasi-default.
00:23:56.280 Because you would think when a guy tells you, hey, this part of your portfolio is going to be full of government securities that have – it's impossible to default because they're never going to default, as we've talked here about the debt ceiling many times.
00:24:10.280 Even if we breach the debt ceiling, we're always going to pay off the interest.
00:24:14.280 The problem is because the Biden inflation – we call these Biden bonds – the principle, as interest rates go, they have to refinance higher interest rates.
00:24:22.280 People buy those.
00:24:23.280 The face amount of the bond you can sell starts to drop.
00:24:26.280 What EJ is saying, there's a whole category of bonds that are 50% of face amount.
00:24:32.280 You've lost half your money, but people are sitting there going, how can I lose my money on a government bond, right?
00:24:38.280 No, those interest rates – and this is what EJ brought up last week.
00:24:43.280 Not only do we have $2 trillion of new deficits we have to finance just in this year, we have $8 trillion that rolls over that we have to refinance at higher rates.
00:24:55.280 This is – nobody's speaking the truth to the American people.
00:24:58.280 That's why EJ is all over us.
00:25:00.280 We want to get the cash, and the reason I want to is that all these clowns, McHenry and all these guys cut this deal, and all they were talking about is $5 trillion coming in of taxes, revenues, tariffs, all of it.
00:25:13.280 That number is not going to be $5 trillion.
00:25:15.280 They're holding the number back, and if I'm correct tonight at about 10 o'clock, they're going to put that number up.
00:25:20.280 They're going to bury this late at night on a Friday on a weekend, and you're going to see my number, EJ, is still – I don't think they got to – I think they barely got to $4.5 trillion of revenues, essentially tax revenues.
00:25:33.280 And that's because transactions have slowed down, and I think capital gains taxes are way off, but that's mine.
00:25:39.860 EJ, I thank you for being the hawkeye on this thing.
00:25:43.820 Where do people go to get all your social media and all your analysis?
00:25:47.500 Best place to find me is going to be on X.
00:25:49.900 The handle is atrealejantony.
00:25:54.640 EJ, thank you so much.
00:25:55.940 Honored to have you on here, brother.
00:25:56.920 Thanks.
00:25:57.980 Pleasure's all mine.
00:25:58.780 For 5,000 years of – in fact, I'll have EJ on next week.
00:26:04.740 We'll talk this through about gold more, particularly about what happened over that weekend in 1971 up at Camp David when Richard Nixon and his team, you know, they stopped the convertibility of the Federal Reserve note into gold at $35 an ounce.
00:26:20.740 The – I want you to go to Birch Gold right now.
00:26:26.700 Ask Philip Patrick and the team the simple question.
00:26:29.780 Why has gold been a hedge against turbulent times for 5,000 years of mankind's history?
00:26:35.740 You need to know it.
00:26:37.100 Right now you need to go to Birch Gold.

00:31:36.640 House Republicans have chosen to triple down on the chaos, triple down on the dysfunction, and triple down on the extremism.
00:31:50.520 That was House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries just a few moments ago reacting to how amid a global crisis that is unfolding in the Middle East,
00:32:00.280 the U.S. House of Representatives remains leaderless and in chaos with no end in sight to their manufactured mayhem.
00:32:08.560 Last hour, the Republican House caucus elected MAGA loyalist Jim Jordan as their next speaker-designee.
00:32:15.460 That was after Steve Scalise, who the Republicans had elected, a speaker-designee just two days ago, bowed out amid attacks about his health.
00:32:24.340 He didn't get secure enough votes to win anyway.
00:32:26.860 If all this sounds eerily familiar, it's because it is.
00:32:31.360 It happened in January.
00:32:32.720 It's still very much unclear whether Jim Jordan has the votes he would need to win a floor vote to become the Speaker of the House
00:32:39.960 after 55 Republicans said they would vote against him in a full House floor vote.
00:32:44.800 Joining our coverage, NBC News Capitol Hill correspondent Ali Vitale, also joining us, former congressman from Florida and MSNBC political analyst David Jolly.
00:32:53.500 Ali, they're getting weird, right?
00:32:56.460 Okay, Memphis, when my voice starts, that's when you take it down, but thank you.
00:33:02.520 Congressman Tim Burchett is going to join us now.
00:33:06.240 Congressman Jim Jordan was the designee.
00:33:08.960 Then he asked for a validation vote, up or down, only got to 155.
00:33:13.980 He's quite short.
00:33:15.780 Tell us what's going on in the struggle sessions the last couple of days, and I think you've been a big Jim Jordan supporter.
00:33:23.260 What's going to happen over the weekend?
00:33:25.960 Well, I think that was done to bring his numbers up because he was running against another guy.
00:33:31.240 There's a lot of open wounds, but I would encourage people to call their congressmen and encourage them along.
00:33:38.960 Towards Jim Jordan, I don't think they've got to be combative.
00:33:41.640 Just say, we really like Jim.
00:33:44.000 He's good for the grassroots because he really is a base Republican.
00:33:50.620 And our base, I think, is really feeling kind of left out, I think.
00:33:55.460 We love Jim Jordan.
00:33:59.180 We love the Jim Jordan 101 a lot better, and we love the Jim Jordan 102.
00:34:04.140 There's McCarthy's buddy.
00:34:05.340 He's up on Hannity giving gobbledygook about a CR that's going to roll into January.
00:34:09.880 He's talking about funding Ukraine.
00:34:11.660 He's open to, I mean, is this Jordan that people are going to vote for?
00:34:16.660 Is this going to be the fighter that everybody that knows and loves Jim and his congressman, Jordan, have worked with him for years?
00:34:22.620 Are we going to see this new version strikes people as odd?
00:34:27.060 And particularly CR, the debt, you've got the border.
00:34:29.700 I mean, there's now, the number's been redone for September.
00:34:33.040 400,000 illegal alien invaders came across.
00:34:37.980 That's 40, as your father could tell you, that's 40, Tim.
00:34:41.180 He'd say young Tim.
00:34:42.140 That's 40 combat divisions.
00:34:44.840 So is Jordan the guy?
00:34:46.460 Is he a guy you know him personally?
00:34:48.320 You're part of that inner circle.
00:34:49.940 Is Jordan going to give us the fight we need?
00:34:53.300 He is.
00:34:54.220 You know, I always think of my daddy telling me stories about that, you know, stuff like that.
00:34:58.660 I remember he told me about hitting the beach on Peleliu.
00:35:02.880 Probably nobody's ever heard of Peleliu, but it was one of the bloodiest battles the entire Pacific.
00:35:07.320 It was supposed to be a three-day mop-up, and it was over 20 days of combat.
00:35:11.220 It was brutal.
00:35:13.020 And Daddy said, you know, he was going in on that amphib, and he looked at the front.
00:35:17.800 There's this cocky guy up front talking about all he was going to do.
00:35:21.140 And he looked in the back, and there was a guy in his helmet crushing out a cigarette
00:35:27.640 and just kind of muttering to himself, maybe praying.
00:35:31.940 And Dad said, that's the guy I'm going in with.
00:35:34.540 And I think that is the Jim Jordan.
00:35:36.280 And I think he can rally the troops.
00:35:39.580 He's as smart as anybody in Congress.
00:35:42.360 But I think ultimately it's the original recipe.
00:35:47.880 Jim Jordan is who we're going to get.
00:35:49.840 And he's going to rally the base.
00:35:52.560 He's going to take the fight to the Senate.
00:35:54.620 He'll take the fight to the White House.
00:35:56.280 And that's really what we've got to have.
00:35:58.080 We have got to have that.
00:35:59.180 You know, the status quo crowd, my daddy would call them the Chamber of Commerce crowd, they're
00:36:06.380 not going to be for Jim Jordan.
00:36:08.000 They don't like Jim Jordan.
00:36:09.760 He's too tied to Trump, or he's too conservative.
00:36:13.160 He's too this.
00:36:13.900 But, you know, just look at your previous guests from the Heritage Foundation.
00:36:20.720 We're taking in somewhere around $4 to $5 trillion a year, spending $7 trillion.
00:36:26.580 And that's the conservative principles that this country and this party have fallen on.
00:36:33.660 And we've got to get somebody to right that ship.
00:36:37.000 And I don't think there's anybody else in Congress that can do it anymore than Jim Jordan.
00:36:41.080 How can McHenry send you guys home for the weekend?
00:36:47.680 Although the Senate's not around, we're burning daylight on getting those appropriations done.
00:36:53.720 And McHenry right now, Politico's reporting, McHenry's trying to cut a deal with the Democrats.
00:36:58.280 They would go 15, they would name him Speaker, and all the moderates would come together.
00:37:04.100 He would do it at 15 days at a time, and he'd do a big old CR.
00:37:08.540 He'd get ready for an omnibus.
00:37:09.960 He'd get Ukraine funding in there.
00:37:12.060 What's the mentality of these guys like McHenry?
00:37:14.380 Are they true conservatives, or is this just all happy talk?
00:37:18.240 I think they want to stay in power.
00:37:20.500 I think the swamp is talking, and it's talking pretty loud.
00:37:25.820 But I would like to hear from the base, the grassroots.
00:37:29.200 Don't waste your time calling me or sending me an email on the issue.
00:37:32.280 I think I know where we need to be.
00:37:34.660 I mean, your choice, our choice will be between Hakeem Jeffries and Jim Jordan.
00:37:41.120 That's the choice.
00:37:42.640 You know, you have a group of folks that are literally Marxist.
00:37:46.460 I mean, they want to see everything.
00:37:49.020 They want our guns.
00:37:50.580 They want our freedom.
00:37:52.500 And they sure as hell want our tax dollars.
00:37:55.440 And they will continue to get that until we stop them.
00:37:59.360 And this will stop them.
00:38:00.760 We have got to take back the House.
00:38:03.220 We've got to get it in conservative hands.
00:38:05.300 And this is our best shot right now.
00:38:09.400 How do you go from 155 to get to 217?
00:38:13.900 You're back on Monday afternoon, Monday evening, and then Tuesday.
00:38:18.440 In living color, you're going to do this.
00:38:21.300 No more anonymous votes.
00:38:22.620 How are you working with Jordan going to get him to 217?
00:38:26.700 I think that the first vote, honestly, I don't think he gets there.
00:38:31.560 I don't think anybody gets the magic number.
00:38:33.520 And then when people see how they're concerned, I think we take a break.
00:38:39.240 And people here from home and people back home will say, this is enough is enough.
00:38:44.400 We have got to take the country back.
00:38:46.540 And I can't say that with any more sincerity or honesty.
00:38:50.660 Because, Mr. Bannon, I really think we are very close to losing our country.
00:38:56.400 If you're seeing the protests that are going on right now in this country,
00:38:59.680 in our college campuses and around, this is not, this is something that is just,
00:39:05.920 it's not organic.
00:39:07.360 It didn't just happen out of people's frustration or something.
00:39:11.420 They said, oh, let's go pro, this is planned.
00:39:14.120 And we got to feel like the southern border is wide open.
00:39:17.480 And these folks, the people that we caught that are on the terrorist watch list literally ought to scare the hell out of you.
00:39:24.660 But it's the ones we didn't catch that are out there.
00:39:27.900 And in our State Department, our White House and others have been compromised.
00:39:32.980 I feel like people that are Iranian sympathizers and, I mean, they are legitimately not good people.
00:39:42.780 And we have got to realize what's going on.
00:39:45.800 And if we don't take control of this thing, it's all going to hit us at once.
00:39:50.760 It ain't going to matter if the House is out of session for two days or three days.
00:39:56.660 Because this White House is inept and we got to have somebody that can stand up to them.
00:40:02.980 And Jim Jordan is the best choice.
00:40:07.600 Congressman Burchett, what's your social media?
00:40:09.620 I know people are going to want to follow you.
00:40:11.380 And I'm sure a lot of people are going to try to make contact with you over the weekend.
00:40:15.300 Because this vote couldn't be any more important on Tuesday.
00:40:18.060 Where do people get you?
00:40:20.360 At Tim Burchett is the best one.
00:40:22.540 That's my good one.
00:40:23.360 That will give me the Bannon bump, as I always get when I'm on with you.
00:40:26.320 And I appreciate you, brother.
00:40:29.080 You want everybody to pile into this right now.
00:40:31.100 I don't know what it is about the women or the ladies in these rural districts.
00:40:36.840 But they just love you.
00:40:38.080 Everywhere I go, out in these rural communities, they always see me on with you.
00:40:43.920 And they go, oh, you know Steve Bannon?
00:40:45.480 And I go, well, thank you.
00:40:51.240 We love the audience.
00:40:52.780 We love the posse.
00:40:53.920 And we love all the folks out there.
00:40:55.660 We want everybody to pile into the social media of Congressman Burchett.
00:40:59.300 There's going to be a big weekend.
00:41:00.320 A lot going on as IDF moves into Gaza.
00:41:05.280 And also the firestorm that people are going home to either have town halls or meet with constituents.
00:41:10.460 We want everybody to load up here talking about Congressman Jim Jordan.
00:41:14.160 Thank you, Congressman Burchett.
00:41:15.240 Really appreciate it.
00:41:16.580 Thanks.
00:41:16.920 Be positive.
00:41:18.040 Be positive.
00:41:18.660 Thank you, brother.
00:41:24.080 202-225-3121.
00:41:26.000 That's the switchboard up at the house.
00:41:28.140 Call your local congressman.
00:41:29.600 Find out if they're going to have a town hall.
00:41:31.320 Or find out how you can sit down and give them the old what for.
00:41:35.520 If you're for Jim Jordan and we want the 1.0 version, not in love too much with the 2.0 version that was working with McCarthy.
00:41:44.160 If Jim Jordan would take on the D.C. insider cartel uniparty, he would be a blowaway easy winner for the speakership.
00:41:54.260 But that's where everybody's kind of, you know, this weekend is going to decide this, I think.
00:41:57.860 He's President Trump's endorsement.
00:41:59.220 President Trump endorsed Jim a week ago Thursday.
00:42:02.040 So he's been it for a while.
00:42:03.740 Now it's Jim's turn in the barrel.
00:42:05.920 Trent Staggs joins us now from out in Utah.
00:42:08.280 Before I get to the Mitt Romney, Trent, you're running for the Senate.
00:42:11.760 And so far, you're doing a pretty good job.
00:42:14.160 If you were in the Senate, would you force McConnell and Sherman, these guys, why is the Senate not here?
00:42:19.700 Why are they traveling throughout the world on these congressional delegations and going to Europe and hanging out when they have not passed an appropriations bill yet, sir?
00:42:28.640 Can you explain that to me?
00:42:31.180 Well, it's because it's part of their, you know, it's they aren't listening to the American people.
00:42:37.120 I mean, that's part of the problem that we have here.
00:42:38.760 It's we've had for far too long.
00:42:41.080 We have a ruling elite that's more concerned about maintaining power, being part of their club than actually doing what's right for the American people.
00:42:48.880 And that's what I've noticed as I've gone around the state.
00:42:51.240 You know, it's it's just people are sick and tired of it.
00:42:55.000 They said enough is enough.
00:42:56.440 We have to get true conservatives, constitutional conservatives in office, people that are going to work for us, for the American people.
00:43:03.020 Finally, instead of just concerned about themselves and enriching themselves and maintaining power, that has now brought the country literally to the brink.
00:43:13.200 They should be there in D.C.
00:43:14.640 They shouldn't be off just hobnobbing and doing everything outside of what they've been actually elected to do, which is to represent people and get the job done there.
00:43:26.380 And individual senators have enormous power.
00:43:29.100 I mean, the Senate, each individual is much more empowered than in the House, where it really takes a committee chairmanship or being leadership.
00:43:35.860 You're committing to the people now when you get in that there's there's going to be regular order, no more games.
00:43:41.500 These appropriations bills are going to be done individually and so people can see exactly what the horse trades are in each of these bills.
00:43:48.940 Absolutely.
00:43:49.740 I mean, I've talked to our our senior senator, our great senator, Mike Lee, extensively about this.
00:43:54.300 And that is the problem.
00:43:56.440 It is that we have these continuing resolutions, these omnibus bills.
00:44:00.160 Everything is hidden in there.
00:44:01.560 And this this deals, this horse trading is going on.
00:44:03.700 You know, it's the law firm, he said, of McConnell, Schumer, McCarthy and Jeffries or used to be McCarthy that would drop this on the desk with 24, 48 hours to go and say, all right, if you don't pass this, the government's shutting down and it's all your fault.
00:44:19.740 I mean, that is just so ridiculous.
00:44:21.460 We need to get back to, yes, the 12 appropriation subcommittees, having bills independently with each one of those with ample opportunity, ample opportunity for debate and amendment so that everything can be out there.
00:44:34.680 It's transparent.
00:44:35.720 And we get back to regular order and be able to pass bills that that will get us back to some source of fiscal sanity.
00:44:43.940 I mean, to hear Congressman Burchett there talk about the the amount of revenue coming in at four or five trillion and the spending levels at seven trillion dollars.
00:44:53.640 I mean, I don't need to say that's unsustainable.
00:44:55.940 That's just it's beyond unsustainable.
00:44:59.660 If we got back to pre-COVID spending levels, the five trillion dollars would cover it.
00:45:04.000 This is the whole fight right now.
00:45:05.080 I mean, these people are out of control.
00:45:06.440 Look, you volunteered to come on on a Friday.
00:45:08.720 I know you're doing a ton of stuff, Mayor Staggs.
00:45:10.660 The audience's head's blown up because the guy you forced out of the race, Romney, is out.
00:45:18.720 He's had a two day conference and he couldn't have picked a more beautiful place.
00:45:22.700 Park City, Utah, is one of the great towns in this country.
00:45:26.480 He's got Paul Ryan out there and their whole thing is a stop Trump.
00:45:29.820 And these are Republicans, donors, other senior people in the Republican Party, operatives, consultants, pollsters, because they said it's not in their DNA.
00:45:38.580 It's not in their DNA to accept Trump as a Republican nominee.
00:45:42.660 Can you give us an update and your thoughts and observations?
00:45:46.680 Well, here we go again, right?
00:45:48.300 I mean, their E2 summit that they had in Park City on Tuesday, like you said, for a couple of days there, that E2 stands for experts and enthusiasts.
00:45:57.260 I mean, the only thing they're expert or enthusiastic about is going against the will of the American people.
00:46:02.540 That, to me, is what is just unbelievable here.
00:46:05.400 Here, President Trump.
00:46:06.960 President Trump has got, what, 70 percent, I think in many polls I've seen, 70 percent support amongst the Republican Party.
00:46:14.140 And here you have a group of elite billionaires that are out of touch with the American people, and they want to sit in a closed-door session, you know, the images of smoke-filled rooms, and be able to just sit there and try to determine how they can stop President Trump.
00:46:35.720 Let's go ahead and do something counter to the will of the American people.
00:46:39.900 That's the problem.
00:46:40.900 Everything we've been talking about here, I think, goes together, where you have this ruling elite that view themselves as, you know, the club.
00:46:48.440 They have more loyalty and fidelity to themselves and how they're going to keep power amongst themselves and wealth, enrich themselves, than they are about going out there and supporting the American people.
00:46:59.580 And as you said, we scared Romney out of this race.
00:47:04.080 He knew, he was looking at the numbers, he knew that he had very low favorability amongst Utahns here.
00:47:09.440 As we traveled around, they said, hey, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.
00:47:14.480 They were not going to be voting for him again.
00:47:16.320 We dropped him down considerably in the polls since we announced and called out his record, reminded people of that, that constant betrayal to the promises that he made five years ago.
00:47:26.520 And so, you know, here we go again, his meeting with closed door sessions in Park City.
00:47:32.820 And that is a beautiful space.
00:47:34.780 I mean, I was just up there last night.
00:47:36.640 We had a town hall in Park City.
00:47:39.040 Many of those Republican delegates that were just so, so tired of the status quo.
00:47:45.400 And they were just energized to see someone like myself offering an alternative, a true conservative alternative to Mitt Romney, somebody who is much more closely aligned to Senator Lee, who can get back there to D.C.
00:47:59.800 And we can finally, finally effectuate the change that we need in this country.
00:48:03.860 I mean, Congressman Birchett, I think, laid it out there.
00:48:06.460 It's, we are, we are on the brink.
00:48:09.180 We are definitely on the brink here.
00:48:11.040 And we have, we've got to have people in D.C. that have got spine, that have got backbone, that can be able to make these strong, these tough decisions.
00:48:18.460 And I look forward to doing that.
00:48:21.500 I really do.
00:48:24.640 Mayor Staggs, how can people follow you?
00:48:27.060 What's the social media?
00:48:28.020 Where do they go to the site?
00:48:28.760 How do they find out more about you and your, and your campaign out there in the great state of Utah?
00:48:32.680 They can go to TrentStaggs.com, S-T-A-G-G-S, TrentStaggs.com, at Mayor Staggs on social.
00:48:41.720 And we really appreciate the support.
00:48:44.640 I got to say, too, Steve, as I'm traveling around, I'm doing my town halls.
00:48:48.600 We've done scores of them.
00:48:50.400 People love you.
00:48:51.640 They love your show.
00:48:52.560 They said, hey, I saw you on Bannon.
00:48:54.620 So you've got a great audience here in the state of Utah as well, my friend.
00:49:00.820 Great.
00:49:01.220 I got to tell you, the folks out in Utah couldn't be any better.
00:49:04.180 That's why it's such a bellwether, and your campaign is such a bellwether, because the
00:49:09.000 folks in Utah are the backbone of this country.
00:49:11.120 They're just fantastic.
00:49:12.020 So thank you.
00:49:12.800 I'm glad the Warren Posse is going to your town halls and getting to meet you.
00:49:16.300 So thank you, sir.
00:49:17.120 Appreciate you coming on tonight.
00:49:18.760 Thank you.
00:49:21.520 You know, that's what's doing it right now, this audience and the work you're doing right
00:49:26.440 now.
00:49:26.920 And look, a lot of people, Jim Jordan's a good man.
00:49:29.140 Jim Jordan's a solid man.
00:49:30.480 The question is, and this weekend's going to decide it, I think, and Jim Jordan, with
00:49:36.540 your help, pull it together.
00:49:37.740 He's still, I don't know, 50, 60 votes short.
00:49:40.820 The folks that we deal with a lot have told us the last couple of days, and we'll have
00:49:44.760 more, I think, to report tomorrow morning on it and on Monday.
00:49:47.540 There have been real struggle sessions inside of these House meetings.
00:49:50.940 People really at each other's throats.
00:49:52.380 But this is what it gets down to.
00:49:53.960 We're an extremist right now.
00:49:55.380 And you're going to see it this weekend.
00:49:56.840 You're going to particularly see it as the IDF moves into Gaza.
00:50:01.840 Look, the people that have been against the same thing they tried to do against Netanyahu,
00:50:06.760 that whole thing they did for months and months and months and months and months about the
00:50:10.040 Supreme Court.
00:50:10.940 That's the exact type of color revolution they've been trying to do here against President Trump.
00:50:16.240 It's the same cast of characters, same playbook.
00:50:18.620 And you're going to see it now.
00:50:20.300 With the ticking time bomb, we have two ticking time bombs in this nation.
00:50:23.540 One is this debt.
00:50:25.120 That's why we're staying up tonight to get you the numbers.
00:50:27.140 They're hiding.
00:50:28.200 The numbers have always, like clockwork, put out.
00:50:30.740 They should have been put out last night about 5 or 6 o'clock.
00:50:33.460 They were not.
00:50:34.560 There's no excuse today why the government has not put these numbers up, except for the
00:50:37.860 fact they're trying to hide something.
00:50:39.320 They're trying to do some accounting to not make it look so bad.
00:50:42.580 I will have it up.
00:50:43.220 Be up on Getter.
00:50:44.600 We're going to be back here live tomorrow morning, live from the nation's capital.
00:50:49.180 There's so much going on.
00:50:50.620 So many dogfights.
00:50:51.560 Of course, we're going to be following the Hamas war very, very closely.
00:50:56.220 Remember, Josh Phillips said it well today.
00:50:59.420 This is, he called it four separate wars.
00:51:01.080 I call it one war, the beginning of World War III on four separate fronts.
00:51:05.140 Still, the most important front is the invasion of the United States of America.
00:51:09.520 Two ticking time bombs at $33 trillion in debt that increases every second of every day.
00:51:14.280 In the eight to 10 million illegal alien invaders that are in this country.
00:51:20.340 Make sure you go to My Patriot Supply.
00:51:22.100 My Patriot Supply is a great Utah company.
00:51:25.380 Make sure you check it out today.

00:51:29.320 Do not let some cyber criminal get into the records and take your title and get a second mortgage on it that you got to pay off from some hard money lender like 12% because they don't want to hear your tale of woe after it's already been taken.

00:52:00.280 You need to know how to make gold part of your retirement and to make gold part of the assets that you invest in.
00:52:07.620 It's time now to take a look and find out why gold for 5,000 years of man's recorded history has always been the anchor to windward.
00:52:15.540 And you're going to need it because, folks, we're going to go through turbulent times and we're going to go through it together here in the war room.
00:52:20.520 I want to thank our incredible audience.
00:52:23.280 You took out a Speaker of the House, first time in American history.
00:52:25.760 What, about a week, 10 days ago?
00:52:27.160 You took out another one, Scalise.
00:52:29.280 And the determination of whether Jim Jordan will be Speaker or not rests with this audience this weekend.
00:52:34.480 We'll see you tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock.
