Bannon's War Room - WarRoom Battleground EP 519： The Corruption Of The Elites At The Hands Of CCP

00:00:00.000 this is what you're fighting for I mean every day you're out there what they're doing is blowing

00:00:11.380 people off if you continue to look the other way and shut up then the oppressors the

00:00:18.380 authoritarians get total control and total power because this is just like in Arizona this is just

00:00:24.280 like in Georgia it's another element that backs them into a quarter and shows their lies and

00:00:29.040 misrepresentations is why this audience is going to have to get engaged as we've told you this is the

00:00:33.460 fight all this nonsense all this spin they can't handle the truth war room battleground here's your

00:00:40.480 host Stephen K Bannon okay welcome Monday 22 April year of war 2024 I want to thank I want to thank

00:00:49.460 Real America's Voice not only for producing our show and helping us produce it at five o'clock but

00:00:55.480 also they allowing their studios be used we got Dave Bratt that's going to be and they help us

00:01:00.860 produce this show now too because the we've browbeaten the Denver team I'm just kidding there's

00:01:06.040 there it's a fab fabulous team out there in Denver that does this for it but now the the Palm Beach

00:01:11.660 so I've got Dave Bratt and I've got him for a few minutes because Dave Bratt hanging out in Palm Beach

00:01:15.840 is obviously a hot commodity every every you know every dinner party wants him every billionaire wants

00:01:21.460 to hang out with him a cup of coffee so Dave I want Dave I want to do three things I want to do

00:01:25.620 three things I've got a few minutes number one I want to go back over and summarize what you said

00:01:31.440 this morning because it was so powerful okay number two I want you to talk about the the the secret

00:01:39.280 now secret Larry summer white paper where he eviscerates Bidenomics to basically talking to his

00:01:46.640 supporters or his guys inside that that democratic uh thing and then three I gotta we gotta play because

00:01:54.260 I heard people were taking clips of you on this show and getting into summers now in panic mode he's

00:02:00.620 oh he's at the hill giving and he's talking saying no no no no no no it's really Trump if Trump comes

00:02:05.780 back so let's let's take the first because this morning was so intense with Mike Johnson and clearly

00:02:11.640 President Trump's uh thing as we kick into Passover tell me about give me summarize your argument on

00:02:17.080 that first before we go to summers yeah at the opening uh this morning uh you know the the Republicans

00:02:24.460 and the the leftists and mourning Joe and Meek and all them are are citing Churchill uh Churchill is an

00:02:31.120 icon because he had true courage uh and true courage in the Judeo-Christian West is always aimed at the

00:02:38.400 right thing right and so the right thing back there was taking down Hitler he stood against his entire 0.87

00:02:44.160 country he stood against all the generals when the war came it looked like everything was lost and it you

00:02:51.020 know it just miraculous uh providential interventions uh came their way and our way thank God and that is

00:03:00.020 true courage as opposed to the swamp in DC and the house I include the house Republicans on our three main

00:03:07.660 issues uh that the American people want they're not political issues because they're political

00:03:12.740 they're political because the border invasion is opposed by 80 percent of the American people

00:03:18.760 and yet what is do we have a Churchillian moment on the border invasion no we do not we have cowardice

00:03:25.520 and we have appeasement to the cheap labor crew the big donors want cheap labor uh the big foundations 0.93

00:03:32.360 the big uh folks who bundle money they want cheap labor uh and it's unconscionable and people are dying

00:03:39.140 because of it and then they have the moral indignation to you know go after the populace

00:03:44.320 etc on illegal immigration and say you got to help everybody uh what what what is a human life worth right

00:03:50.200 when it comes to fentanyl and etc and then the second issue of appeasement by our betters up in the swamp

00:03:55.960 of course is the debt 50 trillion dollars at the end of this budget cycle two and a half trillion in

00:04:01.980 interest payments at the end of this budget cycle uh causing inflation uh which is the major cause of

00:04:09.500 economic unrest uh for the American people all of that could have been avoided but the appeasers

00:04:15.580 the appeasement is the easy way out they act like they're the courageous folks are taking this and

00:04:21.120 then finally uh you know the the real issue these endless wars right the Ukrainian war uh in 2022

00:04:28.060 Putin had a peace deal on the table uh to walk away right with with just taking two of the cities

00:04:35.800 and now it's up to four according to Poso this morning uh but it was two and keeping what they had

00:04:41.860 and we caused what they had right the U.S. did a coup d'etat back in 14 and now we're cheerleaders for

00:04:47.860 democracy supposedly and pure as snow and so there's another dose of appeasement uh to the globalist

00:04:55.540 forces in Ukraine we could have had peace uh without the deaths of all the young kids right 500,000

00:05:03.000 deaths uh and and dismembered and and etc that you cover every day it's so bad now that their their

00:05:10.880 folks are trying to get in the United States of America so where's the moral play I don't see moral

00:05:15.760 courage standing up against that we could have had a peace deal and so when we have a peace deal

00:05:22.220 and Putin puts a peace deal on the table and then we say no then you tell me who's on the attack right

00:05:28.820 and I think that's the issue that no one wants to get to NATO and the globalists are on the attack

00:05:34.480 uh some of them are on the attack to take down the United States and make us weak and we're going

00:05:39.540 along with it when China of course is our major adversary in the future 0.99

00:05:43.860 um I want to pivot because I know you get a bounce I want to go to Larry Summers talk to us about this

00:05:50.180 white paper yes what did you expose about Larry Summers who had been Secretary of Treasury and

00:05:55.660 I mean he's Obama he's the connected he's economically the connective tissue yeah between Clinton and Obama

00:06:02.020 uh is really Larry Summers and he's trying to be the connective tissue uh to Biden the original

00:06:07.560 white paper said what that Larry Larry Larry Summers actually told the truth what did that say

00:06:12.320 yeah well and uh you know there's two white NBER it's where all the major papers go before they get 0.66

00:06:19.440 peer-reviewed and go into the you know the American Economic Review and the top journals in economics he

00:06:24.440 had a paper in 22 that never came out with the same implications and now in February of 24 and if

00:06:31.320 Denver just wants to pop up this chart just for 10 seconds he shows that housing inflation uh back at

00:06:37.740 the peak right when we had inflation of nine percent housing inflation was 18 percent not nine percent

00:06:45.220 and so just ask yourself you know for the middle class Americans what do they buy what's in their consumer

00:06:51.420 CPI inflation uh basket of goods and services a house uh and a car there's the chart look over at the

00:06:59.780 far right there's your receipts there's your evidence according to our modern way of calculating

00:07:05.340 inflation it's only got to nine at the peak according to Larry's research with three other

00:07:10.720 Harvard heavy hitters uh the inflation rate when you include the financing costs of housing which is

00:07:17.580 certainly part of the price when you pay your mortgage bill it doesn't just have the house in there

00:07:21.320 it's got the house price plus the financing interest costs 18 percent inflation and so that go look that up

00:07:29.300 but then today we expose this on the show and and so you know what it basically shows that if you talk

00:07:36.260 the the car inflation the same principle holds the interest costs are in there and then food everybody

00:07:41.500 knows is you know CPI is plus 20 or 30 percent up on food so the average American is struggling

00:07:47.600 terribly to pay their bills and live then the hill comes out with a hit piece by by summers on

00:07:53.720 president trump all political views are my own but this isn't political this is bad economics and Larry

00:07:59.900 Summers who had it right right two years ago he said inflation is not transitory uh it's here to stay

00:08:05.540 he writes a piece in the hill and uh just the title is a comedy show he's turned into Krugman in it in two

00:08:12.860 weeks after doing great economics uh Summers another Trump term would bring inflationary spiral 0.96

00:08:20.460 and would bring big deficits Larry you're a Harvard economist would how big is the deficit now Larry

00:08:28.660 2.5 trillion dollars and where's your analysis of that so he's gone from using his you know character

00:08:35.840 and moral authority on the economic stage with Krugman type comments and then it gets worse then he says

00:08:41.660 the populace uh me you uh the proper characterization of our populism here in America is uh Venezuela

00:08:50.620 right Argentina he says is the proper model right today when hey hey Larry uh check out Harvard

00:08:58.580 University today check out Columbia University check out Yale University today and you tell me about

00:09:05.000 Venezuela then look at the border invasion you tell me about Venezuela the the the leaders the

00:09:11.520 leaders and talking about cuts the reason we turfed out McCarthy we changed the speaker of the house

00:09:16.220 for the first time in history because he lied to people about a budget deal a budget that gave Biden

00:09:22.800 and Larry Summers and Krugman this crowd ability to spend you know seven trillion dollars a year and

00:09:28.860 have two trillion have unlimited deficits and kick it past the the MAGA base has been the only people

00:09:34.980 of adults in the room say you must stop this massive federal spending yes that's the populism and they're

00:09:39.920 arguing exactly against it there's another stone cold psyop this is a psyop Larry Summers is by the way

00:09:46.540 here's the bad news about polling Summers now actively running to be secretary of treasury to

00:09:51.960 replace Janet Yellen so just understand he might yeah he thinks he's the the polling's getting tighter

00:09:56.380 with President Trump Brad I know your public awaits you I'm glad you're down in Palm Beach at the

00:10:01.160 RIV studios you look you look amazing I know but we gotta let you go for all the big week cocktail

00:10:05.780 parties yeah and dinners and all that so uh they won't have me I'm off the wine and cheese circuit

00:10:11.880 right yep Brad economics on getter

00:10:15.360 I'm Brad economics on getter come visit me at Liberty University I got a I got an email on that

00:10:24.480 getter feed and also throw in FISA on top of it for us populists we don't want you spied upon by the CIA 1.00

00:10:33.100 and the FBI they do they fought to spy on you without a warrant what in the world and they're

00:10:39.460 calling us Argentina give me a break Larry the tale of two Larry's coming to a theater near you

00:10:44.900 right hey Brad thank you RIV thanks for the use of the studio we appreciate and thank you for helping

00:10:53.560 us produce this our our beloved six o'clock hour where we get a little more time because the clock's

00:10:58.800 different Ben Harnwell thank you for staying up late in um in Rome but I had to finish uh today

00:11:05.100 there's much more breaking on uh on Ukraine I do want to go back and do a washroom repeat briefly on

00:11:10.580 the on the on the corruption story today because they're stealing with both hands over there right

00:11:15.840 they're just taking it with both hands give me a quick summary of that and then we got one more

00:11:19.540 thing I had to get in today with you yeah great thanks Steve so this is an article in the FT

00:11:24.800 um the Financial Times this is a sedate financial newspaper it's not um it's not basically a precursor

00:11:34.120 to uh to to the war room this is a sedate and and um low brow highbrow low key as you can possibly get

00:11:42.780 they have this incredible article today uh headlined foreign investor in Ukraine accuses officials

00:11:48.780 of corruption and basically this company that's just three years or so ago in Ukraine and started

00:11:56.780 off now the figures here are important okay started off in its first year of trading 2021 it had a

00:12:02.300 revenue of 250 000 euros that's it following year 22 went up to 4.8 million and then last year had

00:12:10.280 total revenues of 208 million why do I go into the to the arithmetic because last year they paid 60 million

00:12:17.860 in tax um that was and then the the in October the the Ukrainian IRS basically says to them that they owe

00:12:27.900 560 million in tax this is like way more than than the company you know that is turnover forget it forget

00:12:35.880 it's profit um so it's obviously ridiculous um and then the um in a photo in a meeting where that where

00:12:46.440 this guy his name is an anglo-german businessman he had photographs secretly taken when he was in

00:12:53.880 vienna um with what the ft calls are ukraine's uh corrupt officials from ukraine's security services

00:13:03.240 and president zelensky's administration they basically go to him and say we can make all of this go away

00:13:10.420 problems over all you have to do is basically sign over your company into a secret offshore trust which

00:13:19.680 you will set up and give us 50 right the key thing in this article is um basically this guy

00:13:28.080 he's a friend of ukraine's got nothing against the the zelensky regime but he says that um that

00:13:34.620 this is the ft right saying that western governments have become increasingly concerned

00:13:39.460 over government corruption in ukraine but have largely held back from making their criticism public

00:13:44.840 as they rally support for kiev to show up its faltering defense against russian aggression

00:13:50.220 everything steve revolves around that that the key admission in that paragraph this corrupt regime

00:13:57.420 in ukraine knows that it can get away with whatever it wants because the western countries are bound in

00:14:04.900 publicly to supporting it and this is where they're hitting for 50 percent um and this guy he's not

00:14:11.960 basically um uh a nobody he's the 10th largest taxpayer in ukraine right he's only been there for three

00:14:21.140 years this is what this regime is doing to people who are coming there uh to invest in that country

00:14:26.720 the thing that really knocked me sideways of course in this story which broke on saturday um saturday

00:14:34.100 of all days is that the ft approached president zelensky's office for a comment um and they declined

00:14:42.740 to comment right this these these guys who can't shut up right who are meddling in every single

00:14:50.540 western media because because because they they can't refute it uh ben i actually got to bounce

00:14:57.720 we'll get to the other part tomorrow you're going to germany in the morning show um but i do want to

00:15:01.800 add you because of their corruption by third party people kept calling him 10 they's taking a 10 vig

00:15:09.160 off the top your reality 50 they've stolen half the money we've sent over there they've stolen half the

00:15:18.640 money they've sent over there stolen it's an open secret you reported when alexander burns when the

00:15:24.100 head of the cia went there and told them to their face if you don't stop with the blatant corruption

00:15:30.780 that the economists and other people that are coming remember the economist was doing the interview and

00:15:34.840 the guy goes hey can you cut that off for a minute uh they're taking he said they're stealing with both

00:15:40.140 hands so out in the open we know that the western nations know it burns the ca had to take a special

00:15:46.340 trip to tell zelinski to his face if you don't at least try to hide the corruption we're never going

00:15:52.660 to get the 60 billion through there and this is another crime of the 60 billion no accounting

00:15:56.840 provisions put in there no forensic audit put in there zelinski and his cronies will steal at the

00:16:03.240 end of the day 50 of this they will just steal it you'll have a yachts in monaco you have dakas all

00:16:09.000 over the place uh these guys are crooks it's not us saying that it's the 10th largest shareholder

00:16:14.720 a taxpayer in the country says they're trying to pressure me to drop the charges they will uh

00:16:20.060 as long as they can take 50 of the country is his new name 50 zelinski not 10 we're going to 0.98

00:16:28.080 re-nominate him 50 ski steve you know i just want to come back before i close now um to the cold open

00:16:34.060 on this morning show where you had representatives um mccall and others you had mika going on about

00:16:39.960 this is a churchill moment for speaker no johnson johnson um and all the rest of it can i just say

00:16:45.620 one thing on behalf of the uk i'll leave the allusions to reagan to americans to make but as far as

00:16:51.320 churchill is concerned right churchill and reagan weren't grifting hand over fist right that ought to

00:16:59.360 be a fundamental difference when they're all sort of sort of saying about how how noble this regime

00:17:04.700 is in ukraine that's worth defending the church churchill and and reagan in their day were fighting

00:17:12.540 for values worth fighting for what are people fighting for what is even the ideals that people

00:17:18.380 are supposed to be fighting for in ukraine okay steve look i'm on getter at harnwell on getter and i

00:17:25.620 have some fantastic posts towards the top of my feed right now thanks steve god bless and that's just

00:17:31.320 and that's just ben harnwell because i always love it when people come in and tell me how great

00:17:34.840 their stuff is the reality is ben harnwell stuff is great and and and the evidence is he's got the

00:17:41.140 greatest engagement i've ever seen anywhere i'm quite jealous of it my engagement's nowhere near that

00:17:46.120 so it's i think it's the way you write the stuff at the top it's quite brilliant ben but anyway go to

00:17:50.080 go to getter let's get it and then we'll push it out ben harnwell fantastic see you tomorrow

00:17:54.460 our man our man in all things ukraine dr bradley thayer uh while we're giving money to ukraine we're

00:18:03.440 not we're not focused on the great threat we forced the russians into the arms of the chinese 1.00

00:18:10.220 communist party now we're in it now we got a a conflict a building on the eurasian landmass

00:18:16.400 and uh the ccp's run it through the mullahs in persia and the kgb in russia and the reason we 0.90

00:18:22.500 have enforced it as you and captain finnell point out in the in your great book is that our business

00:18:28.640 leaders and our government leaders have been in business with the chinese communist party

00:18:32.560 for at least 30 years they're partners and that's why even at the end of the day taiwan got i don't

00:18:38.580 know they gave them 10 billion dollars to taiwan some tip money over what they give in the ukraine

00:18:43.140 uh your thoughts sir well steve great to join you of course so once again it's outrageous uh in terms

00:18:50.940 of the trivial support for taiwan uh that's coming out of this but that's just a symptom of course as

00:18:57.840 you said of the larger problem that we have where the engagement school dominates american foreign

00:19:04.080 policy uh towards the people's republic of china and you're spot on that it's uh they've been in bed

00:19:12.120 uh with them since dung jiao ping uh did uh the communist leader in the 80s and in the 1990s

00:19:19.880 uh who was one of the greatest strategists of the 20th century recognized he could make wall street his

00:19:25.620 partner he could get american elites to send their manufacturing to china uh and could invest uh in

00:19:33.880 china for those high returns and as a consequence the ccp could govern their behavior once they've invested 0.96

00:19:41.460 uh in their manufacturing in china and they would be partners uh so dung jiao ping established that

00:19:48.900 partnership between beijing and new york uh between beijing and and wall street and dung also recognized

00:19:55.860 he could use the influence uh obviously of these and of wall street uh in um washington dc and from that

00:20:05.860 if you will initial element it metastasized to include of course government officials federal

00:20:12.480 government state local government officials media journalism uh of course think tanks uh in dc uh and

00:20:22.200 elsewhere so they all bought into the engagement school which said what we're going to do is have a

00:20:28.860 partnership with the chinese communist party and the elite are going to get rich uh from that and

00:20:35.240 american national security is going to suffer and so what jim finnell and i argue is that what we

00:20:41.560 need is victory right not engagement with the chinese communist party but victory over the chinese 0.99

00:20:48.180 communist party so there has to be a sea change in the american foreign policy establishment uh abandoning

00:20:56.200 engagement right we should do no trade ideally the amount of trade we should have with the ccp is zero 1.00

00:21:01.880 uh and what we should do instead is formulate the strategy for victory uh over uh the chinese 1.00

00:21:09.940 communist party as you said of course what what hey one of the things that's hanging us up on that is

00:21:18.480 that in what you're starting to talk about captain finnell and others is the the power of the of the

00:21:25.920 because people say well how can the ccp how can she go to san francisco and be fetted by the 1.00

00:21:31.400 400 top business leaders in the country and have champagne and they're holding up the flutes and

00:21:35.380 toasting him and there's two standing ovations they're kind of like my minded the the families

00:21:40.740 or leaders or factions that control the chinese communist party have made an enormous amount of

00:21:46.240 money it's the second most powerful nation on earth and i would argue probably the second most

00:21:49.960 powerful nation in the history of the back of the united states the people that run it are not

00:21:54.200 communists they're marxists but they they're atheistic marxists but they are the most wealthiest 0.92

00:21:59.700 people on earth they're they're much wealthier than elon musk they're much wealthier than the

00:22:03.740 sheiks in saudi arabia they're much wealthier than mbz and and the folks down in the uh gulf

00:22:10.040 emirates these are the most wealthy people on earth so they see partners of theirs that are also

00:22:15.500 wealthy why have we been so late to start calling out their wealth and how much they've stolen from

00:22:21.780 laoba laoba jing ain't wealthy right what 60 or 70 million people still make a dollar a day or

00:22:27.400 something why they've stolen all the created value from uh you know kind of marxist theory of uh excess

00:22:35.500 gains or whatever it is that's all been taken by the four or five factions that run the ccp and divvied

00:22:42.160 up among themselves these people are wealthier than the sheiks in saudi arabia sir indeed they are and and

00:22:51.220 my co-author paul bergowitz who's really taken the lead on this issue uh has done his utmost to show

00:22:57.360 this wealth uh and what we need to do is to expose it and senator rubio has some legislation uh that's

00:23:05.160 going to task the intelligence community with generating a publicly available report and crs uh

00:23:12.940 is tasked to do the same to really show where their wealth is so that we can reveal their corruption

00:23:19.080 look these guys are purportedly communists right uh and if you're a communist you can't be rich uh by

00:23:26.920 definition it's like being a married bachelor right you just can't do it communism says leaders included

00:23:33.000 are going to have to be essentially um uh of the working class and of the peasantry of course that's a

00:23:40.000 lie and and that's never obtained of course in any communist country but that's the myth right but

00:23:44.820 they're not even living living up to that element this argument is really important because it allows

00:23:50.900 us to explore and to advance the illegitimacy of the chinese communist party to show that they were put

00:23:58.560 in power by the soviets right there's nothing china about it they impose uh the tyranny of marxism 1.00

00:24:05.680 leninism a western ideology on the chinese people so we should think of them really as a colonial 0.99

00:24:12.160 government right the ccp is a colonial government put in place by the last vestige of western 1.00

00:24:19.020 colonialism marxism leninism and their leaders are irredeemably corrupt now let's go out and find

00:24:26.420 their wealth right let's go to the gulf let's go to switzerland let's go to new york elsewhere find

00:24:33.000 their wealth expose it so that we can show to the chinese people who suffered under their tyranny 0.98

00:24:39.120 who uh tens of millions scores of millions of individuals have been killed by that party

00:24:45.340 that their leaders are irredeemably corrupt and not just at the top but throughout the rotten aspect

00:24:51.520 of the ccp all of them uh are corrupt and that wealth needs to be exposed that reinforces their 1.00

00:24:59.180 illegitimacy how they're beyond the bounds of international society we shouldn't have anything

00:25:03.840 to do with them this this is they are another brilliant thing about the colonial power we do

00:25:09.120 all of this every day this week or this is a new focus to look at at this different prison one of

00:25:14.560 the reasons been driven is comments at the end there's a huge article on politico today talk about

00:25:18.980 kind of the infighting already people jockeying to be uh senior advisors of president trump in his

00:25:24.100 second term third victory second term uh i propose the article is good and it got a lot of friends of

00:25:29.780 mine colleagues of mine i think it's great the one thing i think we're lacking is that we don't have

00:25:34.900 uh it was joe uh it was josh rogan over the with his book um uh chaos under heaven uh trump and xi in

00:25:42.900 the first term they had this group called the super hawks of which i was the head that that unlike all

00:25:48.560 the other even tough guys or thing we questioned the legitimacy of the chinese communist party to rule

00:25:55.220 over the chinese people that to me has to be a starter i don't see enough folks in there that 0.93

00:26:00.880 have that mindset i'm volunteering you and captain finnell i think you'd be tremendous uh people at the

00:26:08.160 national security council in department of defense or in the uh or in the state department uh if so

00:26:14.480 uh afforded would you guys uh volunteer to to join the trump administration sir well we're honored to

00:26:21.220 even be considered uh uh steve uh for that and and um uh i think jim and i uh jim finnell and i are

00:26:29.480 interested in helping in any way that we're able uh to expose the illegitimacy of this and to get rid

00:26:36.000 of the ccp right if we get rid of the ccp we're going to take a putin is going to lose support the 1.00

00:26:42.140 the mullahs are going to lose support uh so hang on hang on through the break i want to make sure 0.99

00:31:40.960 uh and they will be part of the trump uh i can tell you they'll be part of the trump uh second term

00:31:46.760 going forward because you need not just realists that's a term you need these people that question

00:31:51.920 the very predicate of the chinese communist party they're not a legitimate government and i love the fact 0.98

00:31:58.160 uh uh dr thayer that you say that they're the last vestige of kind of 20th century colonialism

00:32:03.360 they are truly a colonial power over lao baijing and this is why they must be overthrown and this is why i said in the first 0.93

00:32:11.240 term on the campaign trail in the first term i said why are we even what this concept of even dealing with them as a

00:32:17.320 legitimate government empowers them we have to stop that they're not a legitimate government once we do that and now the second

00:32:23.280 i said once you single out their great wealth which they've stolen from one of the most decent hard

00:32:29.920 working people in history the chinese people lao baijing and they're living like lords they're rich 0.85

00:32:35.040 of the people in switzerland and the in the gulf emirates you and berkowitz are on it we're going to

00:32:40.000 show it again how do people i want people to get access to the book because once you read the book you

00:32:44.240 see in a very thorough manner how the elites in this country sold out the american people and how they sold

00:32:52.060 at the chinese people and this is why we're in the situation we're in today because beijing's running 0.83

00:32:56.660 this deal this is why we had to keep the kgb and the russian people from partnering up with them

00:33:02.200 trump's geostrategic uh concept was brilliant and now because of what happened in the first term with

00:33:09.600 the russian uh hoax and all this bs and these mad men the people the people waving the ukraine flags

00:33:16.000 desecrating the floor of the house uh you see it all now we're in it and i'm telling you we're

00:33:21.980 in it the ccp the the mullahs in persia and tehran and the kgb and man we're in it now they're in 0.54

00:33:29.320 pakistan and mini me up in north korea uh we got problems aplenty and they're only going to get worse

00:33:36.940 how did they get the book how do you get your writings uh particularly what you and berkowitz are

00:33:41.780 working on and everything else related to this new expose they were doing as the ccp as the last 0.98

00:33:47.340 vestige of colonial power well steve thanks very much and thank you for writing the forward to our

00:33:53.320 book embracing communist china america's greatest strategic failure you can get that wherever you 0.74

00:34:12.360 available at the war room uh uh site and and of course at the sunday guardian uh which is an indian

00:34:18.460 paper uh in um published in uh new delhi uh and they're welcome folks are welcome to um look at the

00:34:26.080 war room site to get paul berkowitz uh and my piece uh on that and then i'm at bradley theret getter

00:34:32.640 bradley theret truth and brad theron x thanks so much steve for calling attention to this

00:34:37.400 yeah look forward to having you back on this uh this week uh dr thayer and uh we need hammers like

00:34:44.820 you in the second term we need people no nonsense about the ccp and know for the demons they are 1.00

00:34:49.140 so thank you sir it's not just coupling versus decoupling decoupling decoupling is it absolutely

00:34:55.920 has to happen but there's something here deeper than coupling you got people that are not want

00:35:01.440 coupling they want partnerships they want to be in business with these demons and these are the

00:35:06.400 greatest murderers of the 20th century 20th century had some pretty evil murderers hitler 0.96

00:35:11.680 stalin pol pot i could go down the worst of the chinese communist party mao a devil a devil and a 0.99

00:35:19.860 demon i'm very honored now uh let's play i got a cold open here i'm so honored we finally got this 0.92

00:35:25.320 set up let's go and play it couldn't be a more perfect day to play this let's go and hit it

00:35:29.680 more than just beautiful dance it's a touch of the divine more than just legends it's the beautiful

00:35:41.500 culture and wisdom of china before communism more than just a performance it's an experience that

00:35:50.340 awakens the soul see it at least once in your lifetime shen yun an all-new production every year

00:35:59.380 shen yun is based in new york so we're an american company performing traditional chinese culture in a

00:36:04.500 way that they are not doing and so we explicitly say we're going to take this culture that the chinese

00:36:09.320 communist party has spent seven decades trying to destroy what shen is presenting on stage is the

00:36:15.300 ancient virtues and values of chinese civilization five millennia of civilization but this is really

00:36:22.500 a universal thing the values the ideas of integrity compassion loyalty courage faith a belief in

00:36:29.540 something greater than ourselves is something that's really very fundamentally human and i think that's

00:36:35.140 what the chinese communist party is very afraid of because they are trying to instill a different

00:36:39.620 ideology a very materialistic one a very shallow one but here comes chen yun it touches about something

00:36:44.900 very very deep in people and that's why you see people from any country in the world they'll come

00:36:49.540 see the show and they're crying and they don't even know why it's because something deep inside of them

00:36:53.460 is touched and is recently we actually received a bomb threat while we were performing so we're going

00:36:59.860 to talk about that ever since shen yun first started performing the chinese communist party has been trying

00:37:04.980 to interfere with our performances and stop us and what they've done in the past is the chinese consulate

00:37:10.740 would send letters to the theater administrators to tell them to not let shen yun perform and they

00:37:15.460 would also send letters to government officials also convincing them not to have shen yun perform

00:37:20.340 after these attempts failed they began to resort to more thuggish methods such as spreading fake

00:37:25.380 stories online organizing protests outside our theaters slashing our bus tires and sending false

00:37:31.140 bomb threats in the past few weeks we have received bomb threats in california vancouver and new york

00:37:37.060 okay i'm honored to have lee shai lemesh the master of ceremonies as shen yun join us the reason this is

00:37:45.220 so important for the american people to see number one is to appreciate the real culture of our partners

00:37:51.700 and true allies in lao beijing that fought with us in world war ii and took such huge casualties but as a

00:37:59.380 lesson because i love in the advertise you say it's chinese civilization culture before communism

00:38:06.340 the marxism you see here in the united states trying to destroy traditional values traditional

00:38:12.420 culture you're seeing the same thing happen here in the united states and the reason i'm so proud of

00:38:16.820 you guys is that you've gone back and say no we're going to show this to people throughout the world but i hope

00:38:23.940 the great beneficiaries that lao beijing in mainland china that see what they used to have before the

00:38:29.300 communists come in because you see the communists have to destroy the family they have to destroy the

00:38:33.460 four olds right but they have to get to the family and they have to get to all your values and the

00:38:38.660 things that you loved and the myths and the customs and the mores they must destroy that before they

00:38:44.900 control the civilization uh lee shai take it away sir very honored to have you on here today thank you

00:38:50.900 steven thank you for your support yes so shen yun you know tell us about yeah give us the history of it

00:38:58.420 yeah so shen yun is based in new york i think that's what a lot of people don't realize when

00:39:02.900 they see our billboards everywhere and we even get some comments occasionally from people saying well

00:39:07.460 we don't want to support anything that's uh from china from the chinese government and um what i think

00:39:12.500 some people don't realize is we're actually on the same side uh this is a performance that is meant to

00:39:17.540 bring back the culture from before communism in china and it was established in new york by people who left

00:39:23.300 china in fact some people who were persecuted in china during the culture revolution practitioners

00:39:28.180 of falun gong and so we established this out here in the hudson valley in new york with the mission of

00:39:34.100 bringing back the culture that the chinese communist party really spent uh 70 to 100 years trying to

00:39:41.060 destroy and so we're really on the same side in terms of wanting to bring back the ancient values

00:39:47.780 and the virtues of traditional chinese culture which are really universal and because of that

00:39:53.540 the chinese communist party has always tried to stop us from day one all the way until now

00:40:00.020 why do they fear like they fear here what is it about marxism what is about communists that they fear

00:40:08.500 the structure of the traditional family and they fear and they fear traditional culture and here

00:40:13.780 particularly you've got what 8 000 years of 10 000 years of culture and back of uh the traditional

00:40:20.900 the chinese people allow by sharing what do they fear about that why have they taken 70 years to 100

00:40:26.020 years and try to destroy it yeah well i think the main thing is when they first came into power they

00:40:32.180 realized that they were bringing in something that was foreign marxism atheism leninism and then they

00:40:37.940 modified it uh brought some stalinism and it was really a soviet import and then bringing this foreign

00:40:43.300 thing and trying to make it chinese and so the first thing they had to do was create a vacuum by 0.85

00:40:48.100 removing all the ancient beliefs that were there for like at least five millennia and that includes

00:40:54.180 ideas that there's consequences to what you do that there's retribution there's a chinese saying that

00:40:58.820 there's gods watching everything you do three feet above your head and that if you have that kind

00:41:04.100 of moral base you're not going to go and do things like they asked you to do during the culture

00:41:07.620 revolution like beat up your parents and beat up your teachers and struggle against people who have land

00:41:12.100 and murder people because you're going to believe that there's consequences for good and evil

00:41:16.100 behavior and basically the chinese people for these millennia believed in in the afterlife and

00:41:21.700 they believed in different forms of it and and being honoring their ancestors and so they had to replace

00:41:26.580 that to get people to follow what now and the chinese communist party wanted them to do and not

00:41:32.660 only did they kill 60 to 80 million people in the last century this continues all the way to today so 0.79

00:41:37.860 you had the culture revolution is perhaps the most prominent example that we think of in terms of

00:41:41.780 destroying culture burning books um taking monks and nuns and making them marry murdering people left 0.72

00:41:47.460 and right and we've heard these stories from some of the older performers in our company people's heads

00:41:51.620 being exploded like watermelons all these different things and then it continued all the way through

00:41:56.180 the tiananmen massacre and then to the persecution of falun gong practitioners and so what the chinese

00:42:00.980 communist party did was remove all this stuff and then one generation after another you get to the point that

00:42:05.860 you have a chinese civilization today that has grown up without these values and that is why you have 1.00

00:42:11.540 chinese people who can afford to they fly to taiwan they fly to the west coast in the u.s to see the show

00:42:17.300 and they say this brings me back to the stories my grandparents used to tell me of what china used to

00:42:21.700 be like i found real traditional chinese culture in the united states or in taiwan i cannot see this in

00:42:27.860 china we can't perform in china and during the show we even tell people you cannot see a performance like

00:42:33.140 this in china it's outside of china that this culture and these traditions and the art forms can be

00:42:37.780 revived is there a yearning you think for people in the mainland when they fly to different places

00:42:44.740 in the world to see this do you get feedback i mean is there a yearning to get back to that more

00:42:49.460 traditional values you see absolutely yeah and you can go online you can see some of the interviews that

00:42:55.060 we have with chinese people uh they're none of these are solicited they're just going on camera and 1.00

00:42:59.620 talking about their experience and they're in tears and they're saying this is my real culture

00:43:03.860 this is what i've been looking for we get emails on our website regularly from people in china saying

00:43:08.580 we can't wait for you to come back bring our culture back to china we support you we even had

00:43:13.940 an instance in vancouver a few years ago it was a chinese official who was sent to spy on us and he

00:43:19.220 went and found security after the show and he gave him a thumbs up he said i was here i sent here to

00:43:23.620 spy on you but we actually support you and keep up the good work so there's definitely a yearning there for

00:43:28.260 this i think people are are very much questioning what the chinese communist party has been telling

00:43:32.900 them and then when they see this they realize oh this is actually our stories in our culture

00:43:37.300 and they're told with they're not just told with the surface like you could tell the story of mulan

00:43:41.060 or the general ufa and just keep it at the level of martial arts and in cool action but it's really

00:43:46.260 the virtues and the ideals of loyalty of integrity of faith of compassion that are behind these stories

00:43:52.100 that chenyun is bringing out and so i would say that this yearning for this message and this sort 1.00

00:43:58.340 of revival mission of traditional culture is definitely felt in china but really around the

00:44:03.300 world and i think that is what people are often surprised they come to see the show they're expecting

00:44:08.820 a cultural experience a historical experience to find out what china was like before communism

00:44:13.700 and they get that for sure but they also leave feeling inspired because it touches upon something deep

00:44:18.500 inside them inside of all of us because these traditions you go back a hundred years plus

00:44:23.460 and they were really very universal sure there's differences between ethnicities and races and

00:44:27.860 cultures and countries around the world but these ideas of like i mentioned integrity and compassion

00:44:32.580 and loyalty and the principles that we show in the show of truth of compassion of forbearance

00:44:37.060 they're really universal and they're being brought back in a such a positive way

00:44:42.420 it's so bright colors and costumes and everything is just about uplifting and even when you have

00:44:47.860 a story that has an element of tragedy is also a sense of hope behind it and that's what really

00:44:51.940 inspires people everywhere we go the uh since our state department uh worked uh in a lab basically

00:44:59.060 turned over um china to the communists in 1949 it was almost 20 years mao had absolutely dictatorial

00:45:07.700 control for 20 years when he it dawned on him it came to him given all the mess he had made of china 1.00

00:45:14.260 uh economically uh and and just basic delivery of even food people were starving to get he had the

00:45:20.420 great famine just one disaster another but he realized he wouldn't have total control until he

00:45:25.460 broke the traditional values that's what started the cultural revolution tell me give our audience

00:45:30.420 the details of how awful that was when he finally pivoted and said i'm not going to have total total

00:45:35.700 control until i break their spirit until i break the traditional culture of the chinese family 1.00

00:45:41.300 tell us tell us about the cultural revolution well it was completely thorough and you have a

00:45:46.980 10-year period with the first three years are considered the manic period where you have a lot

00:45:51.060 more violence you have murders you have basically students are being brought out and they're told to

00:45:55.940 struggle against their teachers that's when you have the dunce caps and the signs and anybody who had

00:46:01.300 a foreign connection or intellectual background or anything that could connect them to the history and

00:46:06.180 values of traditional chinese culture was struggled against and really persecuted people were thrown into

00:46:10.740 labor camps they were executed uh they were tortured and then after a few years of this and this goes

00:46:16.340 not just for teachers but also religious institutions uh arts arts and culture uh you know you have

00:46:22.180 these artifacts that are being burned and temples that are being raised to the ground things that have

00:46:25.700 stood around for for thousands of years uh and then you have a generation of people taken out of

00:46:30.820 school and sent to the countryside and then you have mauserid book that they're supposed to study

00:46:35.220 and they're supposed to learn from the the proletariat from the from the farmers and they're supposed to learn how to

00:46:41.060 work the land and and to be dirty and and smelly is is glorious and all of this stuff and then they're

00:46:46.740 completely cut off from their traditions and those are the parents of some of the people uh you know

00:46:50.980 who are adults now and then those parents grew up not even hearing about what happened to their parents

00:46:55.380 in the culture of evolution these are secrets that they were not allowed to know and then by the

00:46:59.700 time you get to the late 1990s you have people practicing Falun Gong meditation and this is a spiritual

00:47:05.300 practice a lot of people in Shen Yun practice this was this is a big part of the origin story of Shen Yun

00:47:10.340 and they say we want to cultivate ourselves spiritually and there's an element here of

00:47:15.060 traditional Chinese culture of returning to these ideas of truthfulness compassion and forbearance which

00:47:19.700 are the principles of the practice and the communist party sees this in 1999 and they say this is

00:47:24.660 this is a threat to the communist party you know if we cannot defeat them if Marxism can't defeat

00:47:29.220 them they say this outright this will be the biggest embarrassment to the Chinese communist

00:47:32.660 party so then they decide to persecute Falun Gong practitioners and this is going on now for over

00:47:37.700 two decades they thought it was going to last just a few months but they didn't realize that when people

00:47:41.780 have this spiritual awakening when they realize what really matters to them spiritually and they

00:47:48.180 connect the traditional culture that that's not easily crushed including through torture and

00:47:51.940 concentration camps and organ harvesting and everything that they've done mass imprisonment of millions of

00:47:56.260 people and so that is another story that we tell on stage and we tell it through

00:48:00.340 classical Chinese dance which is our main art form in a very moving way and it ends with this very

00:48:05.220 inspiring message of hope and faith and determination and that's one of the pieces that people like the

00:48:10.420 most but that's a big reason as well why the Chinese communist party is so afraid of Shen Yun so there's

00:48:15.300 these two elements of reviving traditional culture on the one hand and of exposing this persecution

00:48:21.300 that they claim isn't even happening on stage in theaters around the world in front of VIPs in front of

00:48:26.900 politicians and entrepreneurs and all these different people artists from around the world and that's

00:48:32.020 what they're really afraid of the the Chinese with all their their might and power all their economic 0.95

00:48:38.980 power their their partnerships with quite frankly these atheists on wall street and in uh in silicon valley 0.51

00:48:46.900 the spiritual side where the christian the underground catholic church Falun Gong

00:48:50.340 it strikes fear in the in the heart of she and these powerful people they could understand the

00:48:57.060 more they try to crush the Chinese people the stronger they get uh tell me about tell me about 1.00

00:49:02.420 actually when people go to the and go to the website and go find and say they want to go for a night

00:49:07.700 what are they going to see right so the website is shenyun.org that's s-h-e-n-y-u-n.org and you can see a lot of

00:49:15.780 videos there an introduction to the performance but the performance is a collection of vignettes

00:49:20.340 about 20 pieces each dance is about five minutes long and it tells a different story from a different

00:49:26.260 region or a different dynasty uh a piece of literature for example the monkey king from

00:49:30.980 journey to the west uh which is about a spiritual quest really and we have historical figures and

00:49:36.100 generals and warriors and and love stories and all these different things and we have soloists who

00:49:41.300 sing and perform on the arhu and we have a live orchestra that accompanies it and really the main

00:49:46.260 art form of the performance is classical Chinese dance and this is an art form that has a history of

00:49:51.060 thousands of years it's very different from ballet has its own systematic training and very distinct

00:49:56.980 Chinese movements and postures and it's very very athletic so actually a lot of the flips and

00:50:01.860 tumbling techniques that we're familiar with from gymnastics olympic gymnastics acrobatics cheerleading

00:50:07.780 even these actually originate from classical chinese dance it was chinese artists who brought

00:50:12.420 them out and gymnasts in the olympics a few decades ago and introduced them to the world and now they're

00:50:17.380 a mainstay in chinese uh not just in chinese but in olympics uh in gymnastics everywhere but this is

00:50:23.300 actually originally from classical chinese as you see a lot of that in the show uh it's a very expressive

00:50:28.420 art form as well so you can experience different emotions that are brought up with really subtle

00:50:33.860 movements my job in the performance is to introduce all the different pieces i just go on stage with

00:50:38.900 my mc partner and we say a few words just to give a bit of a connection a bit of a background to

00:50:43.140 different stories but really classical chinese dance and live music is a universal language and

00:50:49.620 frankly people will do quite okay even without the mcs understanding and getting the feeling from behind

00:50:54.420 the performance and um there's also an animated backdrop which has a lot of surprises we have a really

00:51:00.100 cool patent on that uh in terms of how it interacts with the performers on stage i'll leave that for

00:51:04.820 people to go see an experience for themselves so it's really a very sensory just all all the senses

00:51:10.420 are engaged and you're instantly transported to this other world that's one of the things that people

00:51:14.660 talk about the most they come to the theater and they're they're blown away and they're taken

00:51:18.580 somewhere else entirely they experience this other civilization which really has been lost in other

00:51:24.100 in other regards and they're brought back to it and then it awakens something inside of them

00:51:28.500 because not only are they experiencing this other culture they're also remembering certain things

00:51:33.380 about what is true to them and in our own traditional culture be it in the united states or in japan and

00:51:39.060 france wherever we perform one more time where they go to the site i want everybody to go today and check
