Bannon's War Room - WarRoom Battleground EP 525： Crisis In The New Europe

00:00:00.000 this is what you're fighting for i mean every day you're out there what they're doing is blowing

00:00:11.500 people off if you continue to look the other way and shut up then the oppressors the

00:00:18.500 authoritarians get total control and total power because this is just like in arizona this is just

00:00:24.400 like in georgia it's another element that backs them into a quarter and shows their lies and

00:00:29.160 misrepresentations is why this audience is going to have to get engaged as we've told you this is

00:00:33.440 the fight all this nonsense all this spin they can't handle the truth war room battleground here's

00:00:40.480 your host stephen k bannon in the new world of mass migration the most pervasive important and

00:00:48.660 dangerous conflicts will not be between the social classes they will not be between the rich and the

00:00:55.940 poor they will be between peoples belonging to different cultural entities tribal wars and

00:01:03.980 ethnic conflicts will occur within civilizations well boy was he right and the worst part is 1.00

00:01:13.340 we as a society seem to have become indifferent to it when another white boy or white girl dies at the

00:01:22.660 hand of an immigrant we might shake our head we might let out a sigh we might even get angry for a minute 1.00

00:01:30.800 or two and then we go on with our lives we are for the family thoughts and prayers but nothing ever

00:01:39.940 changes ladies and gentlemen what does that say about us this is the sign this is a response of a society

00:01:49.480 a society that has already given up a society that has already accepted its defeat but is this true

00:01:58.120 have we given up do we really accept the new reality that our globalist leaders have in mind for us

00:02:05.640 i know one thing for sure and that is that if nothing changes if we don't start to seriously fight for our

00:02:14.280 continent for our religion for our people our countries then this time that we live in will go down in

00:02:22.920 history as the time in which western nations no longer had to get invaded by hostile armies in order to be

00:02:31.160 conquered this time will then go down in history as the period in which the invader was actively invited in by a

00:02:39.640 corrupt elite and not only did this corrupt elite invite the enemy in they made the native population pay

00:02:48.280 for it too

00:02:49.320 uh it's tuesday 30 april the year of elora 2024 thank you and welcome back this is the early evening uh edition

00:02:59.400 and want to thank everybody who's been with us all day quite intense uh honored to have uh ava uh

00:03:05.640 vlar dingerberg uh one of the most powerful speeches i've seen or heard in a long time of cpac

00:03:11.640 hungry picked up by remix news and then picked up by zero hedges their lead story over the weekend

00:03:19.640 ava walk me through your theory of the case i want to go back and let's do it again because it's so

00:03:24.280 powerful and quite frankly as even as much as we cover it uh no one has said the quiet part out loud

00:03:31.000 you said the most brutal reality that you think some of the nations of europe that have the longest

00:03:37.240 uh heritage is some of those powerful institutions that the people may have already given up or quit

00:03:43.640 so walk me through your your your theory of the case of what's happening uh on in continental europe

00:03:49.080 with this mass uh migration and really the uh the uh the end of uh what could be the white race in europe

00:03:56.520 hi steve thank you so much for your kind words and for having me on your show again

00:04:02.440 um i'll walk you through quickly if you allow me through the makeup of my speech it was 12 minutes

00:04:07.080 long anybody who wants to watch it it's pinned to my profile on x what i started out with basically

00:04:12.920 was saying ladies and gentlemen i want to walk you through one week in europe the past seven days

00:04:18.200 um and i mentioned a few incidents right as they call it where immigrants um stabbed people in the

00:04:26.120 streets uh caused riots etc these types of you know basically our new reality in europe is what i said we

00:04:33.880 we experience extreme crime uh rapes beheadings killings you know murders bombing shootings and all

00:04:41.000 of this is a newly imported problem that's what i i called it um and then from there i said okay

00:04:48.440 what how come you know what happened here and then i listed some statistics from my home country saying

00:04:54.600 look in the major cities in the netherlands the native white christian population is already outnumbered

00:05:01.160 due to these policies that our corrupt elite uh has had for the past few decades which obviously is the

00:05:08.520 open border policy um and i basically said look we are going to a point of no return here where our

00:05:15.640 civilization is no longer recognizable and unless we turn that around unless we counter that narrative

00:05:22.040 start to speak very freely and openly about this and also say no we want the antidote we want a strong

00:05:28.440 christian europe of nation states then nothing is going to change and sadly i gave that speech just a few

00:05:34.680 days ago in in in hungary at cpac and just today uh there was another man who started stabbing random

00:05:42.280 people in the streets of london and a 14 year old boy died and yesterday an afghan migrant migrant

00:05:49.000 stabbed a 15 year old boy in france so it really proves that this is you know something that happens

00:05:55.080 every day in the new europe with with the rise of social media and you know this because you're one

00:06:03.240 of the leading voices in this movement the mainstream media doesn't want to report this when these

00:06:07.320 incidents happen when they don't report who they are right away you can already guess and it always

00:06:12.520 comes true that it's it's some uh it's some migrant um but why with the rise of social media and we

00:06:19.320 have the rise of the populist right the rise of the sovereignty movement the rise of the nationalist

00:06:23.560 movement but given how far it's gone the way you describe it why has the political process

00:06:31.640 not caught up with the elites why why have we not had the overthrow of more of these governments that

00:06:37.400 have just gone along with the party of davos have just gone along with source i mean you have it in

00:06:41.560 hungary you have other aspects you know in france right now you see the rise of uh le pen's front

00:06:47.400 national or uh their their their new title you see it in in other countries particularly netherlands

00:06:54.360 but you haven't seen given you're saying we're at the edge of the abyss you haven't seen the uprising

00:07:01.480 that you would sense that people would do they just logically said hey our country's going to be

00:07:06.280 destroyed on on my nickel i'm paying for this and my children and my grandchildren are not going to be

00:07:11.480 exist in this country why has the political revolt not been stronger i think in europe people are

00:07:19.160 still afraid um and i'm not surprised you know i gave this speech and it went absolutely viral on on

00:07:25.320 x uh first of all because i'm now allowed to say these things on x right but before uh before elon took

00:07:31.400 over it really was almost impossible to say anything about these matters on social media without being banned

00:07:37.560 right and that is just on social media but in real life the responses are the same you're you're called

00:07:43.480 a nazi a fascist far-right extremist all of these things and we're kind of used to that at this point

00:07:49.160 but it happened again when i gave the speech and i i think i said the the forbidden truth out loud

00:07:54.920 which is something that everybody can see with their own eyes in europe but is still afraid to say

00:08:00.760 and that is look guys we are being replaced you know the white native population of europe is being

00:08:06.120 replaced at an ever exhilarating rate and if we don't turn this around europe won't exist anymore

00:08:12.760 and that's of course something that people are still very you know they're hesitant to say this because

00:08:17.800 well of the responses that you get if you do but i figured it's about time because now either it's

00:08:24.600 you're called a racist uh but we call out the truth and we say something about what is happening to our

00:08:30.200 continent or you don't and then the the civilization ceases to exist so for me the choice was obvious

00:08:38.840 um but yeah the response has not been mild so to say from the establishment and i think that's

00:08:44.200 something that people are still afraid of and that that is also why the political response has not

00:08:49.400 completely caught up with the reality yet okay we had jeremy carl on for for the i think we had him

00:08:57.000 on thursday or friday and then we had him back on yesterday he's written a book that's quite

00:09:00.360 explosive over here called the unprotected class how anti-white racism is tearing america apart

00:09:07.720 and in that a discussion on both days i i alluded to there's a number of sites i guess you would call

00:09:14.200 these folks ethno-nationalists it's very well produced uh they have very uh good documentaries

00:09:20.200 get into the details um but they continue to argue they argue right that this is lined up against the

00:09:27.080 the white race and i make the point that it seems to me more about money and power because the people

00:09:35.480 putting this on the white race happen to be white happen to be caucasians they just happen to be in

00:09:41.160 power and this is mainly going against middle class or working class whites you make the argument i think

00:09:47.160 is why i read your speech you're saying steve you are kind of missing it it's not really the two

00:09:51.880 classes it's not that class you're going to get these kind of uh ethnic uh wars inside the country

00:09:58.760 because the elites have invited these people in is that is your argument kind of support more the

00:10:03.080 what i would call the ethno-nationalist point of view or mind that it's it's really not it's because

00:10:08.440 because it's whites that are if you look particularly in europe these are all whites that are opposing

00:10:14.280 it's kind of that book camp of the saints where the white elites don't know how to handle this and

00:10:20.040 they just fight people in and then when it's a mess they kind of step back and say it's not my 0.72

00:10:24.440 problem and it's these racist whites problem right right well no my my speech you just showed that clip

00:10:31.800 started out with a quote from samuel p huntington so that wasn't my those weren't my words actually i was

00:10:37.640 quoting samuel p huntington who said predicted 25 years ago look the new clashes that we will see in

00:10:45.400 civilization will not be between the rich and the poor would will but will be because of mass migration

00:10:51.720 between people of different cultural entities so that was the quote that i was that i was citing right

00:10:57.560 there and i agree with you that i think that mass migration is used by a predominantly white elite

00:11:05.240 actually a corrupt elite as i referred to them to cause divide and conquer within society but the

00:11:11.800 fact of the matter is that there is a very strong anti-white sentiment that these people have either

00:11:18.040 consciously or subconsciously adopted that i think is comes from this neo-marxist you know critical race

00:11:25.480 theory type of thinking where they now divide the world no longer in so the the social classes like

00:11:32.600 between the poor and the rich but they see the white people as the oppressor and the immigrants or any

00:11:39.240 type of minority as per definition the oppressed right so that is the theory that i was explaining here

00:11:45.960 but i definitely agree with you that i think that it's predominantly actually these neoliberal globalist

00:11:51.960 left-wing white people that are pushing this theory but they're not just pushing the theory they're also pushing the

00:11:58.440 policies and the policies and the policies are real we are being replaced and that is you know a very

00:12:05.400 i think visible reality now in europe that you can tell that the demographic makeup has changed beyond

00:12:12.120 well what i think would say belief but it's it is reality right so i think we should call out both

00:12:17.800 things and both things can be true at the same time that that quote is from that great book clash of

00:12:24.360 civilizations you're you're absolutely correct i remember after 9 11 everybody was saying all the

00:12:29.160 media no no no this is not a clash of civilizations this is just a misunderstanding i want to go back

00:12:34.600 if you look at the end of world war ii right in the beginning of the european union and really what

00:12:39.160 i would say was the the focus on taking away the sovereignty of the individual nation states

00:12:44.600 although i would think most fighting men and women in the united states that actually participated and

00:12:49.000 fought to help us save europe would say no we're really fighting so those people can be free within

00:12:54.920 their own nation states as sovereign citizens as individual citizens how do we get to the point

00:13:01.640 what happened to the elites in this in these countries that really took on an anti-white

00:13:08.200 you know sentiment what was it about these elites that really their target of their frustration

00:13:13.960 were their own countrymen and they actually pushed for these laws and i would go back to the after

00:13:20.280 the syrian civil war when i was at breitbart and the insanity helping happening in germany at that time

00:13:25.640 of inviting these uh inviting these migrants in essentially unvetted and you saw it over and over 0.85

00:13:31.080 again and i would mention the book the camp of the saints and i said hey the book's got some very tough

00:13:35.720 sections to it they're going to turn a lot of people off and a lot of people are going to say it's a racist

00:13:39.480 book but the underlying concept of the book from the french author is quite powerful about how he

00:13:45.480 saw this back in in 19 in the 1970s in in france at can when he had the idea to write this book that

00:13:52.840 the elites in and of themselves have somehow turned to be anti-white and anti their own countrymen

00:13:59.720 how did that happen given that we fought for freedom of the nation state in world war ii

00:14:04.520 i think there is an internalized white guilt as a result of the atrocities that happened during

00:14:12.120 the world war the second world war that is used and weaponized against people who have very valid

00:14:18.680 very normal conservative you know ideas who want who agree with the idea of a nation state who don't

00:14:25.160 think that there are 73 genders you know i would say just ordinary people who believe in traditional

00:14:30.600 ideas traditional values christianity and if you have a globalist elite that wants to control

00:14:35.960 everything that we do everything that we say everything that we eat everywhere that we go

00:14:40.280 you know you can't have a strong nation state with people who know where they come from you quite

00:14:45.480 literally need to uproot them in order to install what we you know call this new world order so that

00:14:51.560 attack makes sense right and in my speech towards the end of my speech i said the antidote to all of this

00:14:58.280 is a strong christian europe of nation states and the first thing that we need to do therefore

00:15:04.840 is counter this outright lie that nationalism and national sovereignty or national pride causes war i

00:15:13.720 think that that lie has been very very prevalent and has been spread throughout our academia for example

00:15:20.840 after the world wars saying look if we want to avoid a third world war now we have to get rid of

00:15:26.680 everything that is somewhat traditional or that is somewhat close to nationalism and it has become

00:15:32.280 a dirty word as a result of the second world war and i think that this is a this is false i think

00:15:37.320 that expansionism is what causes war and that in only in places like europe and brussels sorry nowadays

00:15:45.640 you can find that you know you find that with the globalists you find that with this corrupt elite that

00:15:51.960 i'm attacking in this speech not with people who want strong nation states not with people who

00:15:58.520 appreciate conservative values but with those neoliberal globalists um that we find represented

00:16:05.960 in undemocratic institutions like the european union you've now touched the third rail really in american

00:16:13.960 politics cnn did a whole special the other night we streamed it and watched it with the war and

00:16:18.440 policy and of course a lot of people were turned off by it about misinformation but the heart of it

00:16:23.960 when you with the reporter uh donnie o'sullivan i think is donnie o'sullivan who who really focused

00:16:29.880 on the christian nationalism piece of it they would say immediately that that you're just a radical christian

00:16:35.880 nationalist and what you want to do is really bring back everything that caused all the wars that

00:16:41.800 caused all the conflicts it was it was it was uh these uh uh it was christianity and once you had it

00:16:48.760 tied to uh kind of the unwashed masses this led to conflict in the war why first of are you a christian

00:16:55.160 nationalist and and do you see uh the side of the of the other side of the argument well i'm a christian

00:17:03.080 and i'm a nationalist so i don't know if that makes me a christian nationalist but honestly steve i don't

00:17:07.880 really care what type of label people put on me you know everyone in the world can go out go and see

00:17:14.600 exactly what i said and exactly what i believe in this speech and then the labeling the name calling

00:17:21.320 the whatever it if you know it really is no of no interest for me anymore uh i know exactly what i

00:17:27.560 believe people want to know what i believe can go and listen to me straight from the horse's mouth

00:17:32.200 rather than you know whatever the media or whatever any establishment will say about me because

00:17:37.000 they've done nothing but lie about me as long as i've you know been speaking out about these things

00:17:42.520 and now my speech is maybe more radical you know than it was uh than the things i said four years ago

00:17:49.800 in their eyes but they called me the same name so i've stopped to care honestly

00:17:56.040 hang over a sec i want to play a clip uh from uh from scotland yesterday and get your uh and get your

00:18:00.920 take on it that 99 of the meetings i go to i'm the only non-white person in the room but why are we

00:18:09.480 so surprised when the most senior positions in scotland are filled almost exclusively by those who are

00:18:16.600 white take my portfolio alone the lord president white the lord justice clark white every high court judge

00:18:25.480 white the lord advocate white the solicitor general white the chief constable white every deputy chief

00:18:36.520 constable white every assistant chief constable white the head of the law society white the head of the

00:18:38.920 faculty of advocates white every prison governor white and not just justice the chief medical officer

00:18:46.680 white the chief nursing officer white the chief veterinary officer white the chief social work adviser

00:18:52.920 white almost every trade union in this country headed by people who are white in the scottish

00:18:59.160 government every director general is white every chair of every public body is white 0.91

00:19:06.440 that is not good enough now he was just turfed out but he was the head essentially of the scottish

00:19:14.040 nationalist party uh what is your take on thing about he he put forward the most uh incredibly

00:19:21.320 uh over the top and insane hate speech law which also is is infecting europe what is your take on

00:19:27.780 on someone that proposes to be the leader of a nationalist party but is obviously anti-white 0.87

00:19:33.920 i mean it's insane what's wrong with those people being white what's wrong with having 0.97

00:19:40.060 people in those positions in a country like scotland that has been predominantly and historically white

00:19:46.120 for its entire existence tell me you know why is that wrong and this is the question that i asked

00:19:52.600 somebody who interviewed me after the speech i gave it's like turn the question around with these

00:19:57.080 people let them explain why suddenly we have to become a minority in our own countries on our own

00:20:04.220 continent i don't think that that is a given you know and i don't want to be pointed as as the root

00:20:09.880 of all evil or somebody who has to be replaced because of the color of my skin you know why is

00:20:15.160 that suddenly accepted you would never hear this in an african country you would never hear this type

00:20:20.580 of rhetoric in asia and i think it's time that also white people in their own countries and their

00:20:25.860 own continents start to reject this type of rhetoric which clearly this man you know is filled with

00:20:31.940 hatred uh and and it's deeply racist what he's saying so you know might as well turn the question

00:20:37.680 around for once and say hey what's what's actually tell me what's wrong with being white

00:20:41.640 ava one of the reasons i think your speech was powerful beside the context and and where you gave

00:20:48.560 it was actually yourself being a young person and obviously very well spoken very dynamic the world

00:20:54.360 is told that all people under 35 or 40 have uh have basically accepted the propaganda and are also part

00:21:01.560 of this kind of you got to call it what it is kind of an anti-white movement do you disagree with

00:21:05.960 that do you actually think that people are awakening to the fact that uh being white is not a problem

00:21:11.620 in and of itself i think so i mean looking at the numbers and this i put this speech up on x two days

00:21:18.820 ago and we're looking at i think more than 47 million views now in less than 48 hours well i think that

00:21:25.740 that tells you something i think that the world is ready to have this conversation i think that people

00:21:30.740 have been terribly afraid of it and that that is why the numbers are skewed and why we think

00:21:35.800 that people have all accepted this type of narrative but i think you just need a few people

00:21:40.600 who are willing you know to to bear the the consequences of saying these types of things out

00:21:47.720 loud and i've done that for so many years already that like i said i really don't care what they call

00:21:52.600 me at this point so i'm willing to speak the truth and i want to speak the truth and i think it's

00:21:57.380 important to speak the truth about what's happening in europe and i think that the numbers reflect

00:22:02.360 that a lot of people are very very happy that somebody did exactly that do you feel with young

00:22:10.320 people that they are starting to awaken to the fact that this civilization this culture has produced

00:22:14.480 not just the greatest works of art and music but science technology that the the western the

00:22:20.740 judeo-christian west civilization with europe being really the the railhead of that has created

00:22:26.360 more good and beautiful and and freedom throughout the world than all the rest of the world combined

00:22:33.200 are young people awakening to that that they actually are blessed to live in some a place that's quite

00:22:38.900 special with a cultural heritage that's quite special i think i think so i think that is definitely

00:22:45.500 happening but we have a long way to go still because our institutions are still so infiltrated by these

00:22:51.980 neo-marxists by the the cultural relativists who will say that it's just a coincidence right or that

00:22:57.880 even someone like bach was an anti-semite or that we need more uh black or female composers in in in the 0.93

00:23:06.240 concert hall of amsterdam all of this type of stuff is still very much there but i think that this

00:23:12.120 woke narrative especially with gen z surprisingly enough is not really working anymore i think they

00:23:19.080 understand that it's it's they call it cringe right uh they they think it's nonsense and now it's up to

00:23:25.240 us to tell them yeah actually this is not just a lie you know this this woke narrative but here look at

00:23:32.320 this plethora of amazing art of culture um that we have produced that our continent our people you know

00:23:39.560 our ancestors have produced all of these centuries it's all still there do not let it be destroyed

00:23:44.680 eva tell us a little bit about yourself your journey and particularly what you're working on

00:23:51.080 now and how can people follow you and follow your work people can follow me uh on x predominantly so

00:23:57.680 that is at eva vlar and i am currently working on a very exciting project that i will soon be able to

00:32:06.300 stephen k bannon ben harnwell ben harnwell joins me from uh rome hey ben you know the whole reason

00:32:14.220 that we've conceived of the academy of the judeo-christian west of which we're now going

00:32:20.560 around the country the united states and trying out different modules on it is um is about the defense

00:32:25.680 of the west and that is worthy of defense and worthy of promulgation it's the greatest civilization

00:32:30.280 known to man your your thoughts on ava and the speech and particularly what went on

00:32:35.220 both in cpac hungary and then in your mania romania to make uh europe great again you you've seen this

00:32:41.800 at the very beginning i mean you know politics from london and parliament you were part of the

00:32:46.060 european parliament over there's a senior staffer you've seen what ava's talking about about these kind

00:32:50.780 of globalist elites of which you and i talked about over a decade ago about this book camp of

00:32:55.700 the saints and the camp of the saints book is a very rough book and it's going to have parts to it

00:33:00.280 that uh and first of all it's very hard to get now but it's kind of parts that people are very disturbed

00:33:05.780 by uh you might call them even parts of the book racist or at least racialist but the message of the

00:33:11.760 book is very powerful because it's quite frankly prophetic about what's happening your thoughts

00:33:16.640 good afternoon steve yeah well i i think what ava gave not only in her speech but uh but also

00:33:24.480 earlier on in the show is a real master class and she's clearly emerging as perhaps i don't know

00:33:29.820 an arnold toynby of our of our present age uh in distilling uh quite what's at stake it's an open

00:33:38.320 question of course as to whether we're going to do ourselves in i mean toynby himself uh said that

00:33:45.300 civilizations die by suicide rather than conquest um it's an open question as to whether our own

00:33:52.100 civilization the judeo-christian west is going to die by suicide or by conquest there are there

00:33:58.740 are indications on both sides um that don't look particularly favorable right now what i like about

00:34:04.260 ava is the fact that she's able to take these things and she has a huge following on social media 0.98

00:34:09.440 and she's able to get you know perhaps we're too old steve we're too old and we're too dry um but she

00:34:15.460 has this huge sort of uh following on x on on twitter um and i think it's absolutely great that sort of

00:34:23.760 generation um generation z um i think we're now on um uh we'll be following her on instagram on x and

00:34:33.140 what have you and these things and it might encourage them to go to study and to realize that our

00:34:38.240 civilization our great civilization which isn't perfect it's not perfect but it has been in the

00:34:44.780 whole history of mankind and i absolutely believe this it has been the civilization which is uh which

00:34:50.980 is the greatest thing that that mankind has ever devised not not intentionally um but devised uh for

00:34:59.500 the maximal prospering of of the human person that of human dignity of course the reason for that is

00:35:06.280 because the very heart of our culture is cult as john paul ii used to say and at the heart of cult

00:35:12.420 in the judeo-christian west we have the person of jesus christ how a culture founded on that luminous

00:35:18.960 being that luminous divine being isn't going to be the best that mankind has ever devised i i don't know

00:35:26.020 i don't think it's possible that's why i think the judeo-christian west is so great it's not an ethnic

00:35:30.920 thing steve as you would say i give away it's not an ethnic thing it's because our civilization is

00:35:36.420 founded on on here on the teachings of our lord and savior jesus christ that it has provided and so

00:35:44.200 on so many fronts on art culture literature um law equality before the law the rule of law

00:35:51.760 and all these things that the idea that justice is blind all these things come from fundamentally from

00:35:57.940 the fact of one single person and that is jesus christ himself

00:36:02.600 i've got and i want to get to this ukraine thing but i i need to spend this time with you on on on this

00:36:10.180 because you talk about it in in the the foundations of the judeo-christian west i mean

00:36:15.060 it shouldn't be lost on people particularly people know that the the early church the early church

00:36:20.680 just not was out of israel that was the beginning of it and judeo and palestine but it was

00:36:25.900 i guess palestine wasn't a thing then but judea um but it it was also came out of the middle east

00:36:32.240 out of syria out of north africa i mean saint augustine it was a berber right so it's not it's

00:36:38.980 not directly oh this is all white this is a white religion it was a it was based upon something much

00:36:45.820 deeper than ethnicity the thing that concerns me today when i hear ava talk about a white christian

00:36:52.120 europe or a europe that is embracing christianity and that's one of its revivals you know i go to

00:36:58.860 london and you go there and you see these magnificent churches not like in in europe and

00:37:04.680 not like in italy but the christopher wren churches which are quite simple but powerful and they're all

00:37:10.280 empty and you go to rome and the in the art and the music and and but there there's these magnificent

00:37:17.340 churches literally on every block sometimes a couple on a block you never see anything like it

00:37:22.800 and as you know when you and i go to mass there uh oftentimes the priests are from sub-saharan africa

00:37:30.360 because they're not getting the they're not getting the vocations in italy among the church the churches

00:37:35.240 are virtually empty uh three quarters of the attendees uh ben when you and i go are foreigners

00:37:42.340 right and i don't mean foreigners coming in from the united states i mean people from sub-saharan

00:37:46.660 in africa in the middle east that are devoutly catholic so when you talk about when ava talks

00:37:52.020 about a rejuvenation or revitalization revitalization that can save europe and it'll be christian in the

00:37:59.120 united states i can see how that can happen because we do have a quite powerful evangelical church and you

00:38:04.600 have a quite powerful yet small traditional catholic church that are the building blocks to do this

00:38:10.560 i'm not sure i see that in europe i don't know europe as well as you do and you've dedicated your

00:38:16.240 life to this very topic what are your when ava talks about that what are your do you believe

00:38:21.900 that that can actually happen yeah well i think it is happening look let's go back to arnold

00:38:27.380 toynby who's i think he's great i mean he's a great historian of civilizations the great historian

00:38:33.400 of civilizations or perhaps even christopher dawson as well but but to toynby specifically he had this

00:38:38.480 his probably most famous quote was that of the 21 notable human civilizations um 19 of them had

00:38:46.560 perished not from conquest from without but from moral decay from within um and that's what we see

00:38:53.800 now i mean you're perhaps that the judaic is probably the 22nd um civilization in in human history and

00:39:01.640 where you know as i say are we dying from moral decay from within absolutely are we dying from um

00:39:07.720 from conquest from without absolutely um these these two things i think i've even said it it's not either

00:39:13.500 or on this one um and you can see this on every single metric i actually think look i in terms of

00:39:20.500 civilizational vocations i have a particular view when it comes both to the united states um and and to

00:39:27.240 europe i think america's vocation on the world stage from its founding onwards is to show the

00:39:33.020 whole world how liberty can prosper on it on every single metric that is a unique vocation that america

00:39:39.960 and americans have been called to do um to show how how constitutionally limited government um all the

00:39:49.480 things involved in america's funding the idea that you need to have a moral people to uphold um the precepts

00:39:56.000 of democracy as well all these things i think americans are called to show and the whole world

00:40:01.580 how how liberty can can work and i think you know the the american ideal is is is the very um apotheosis

00:40:10.640 to use that word of of the judeo-christian west that is to say in the whole judeo-christian west

00:40:15.360 i don't think there's been a civilization that has assumed these values uh as coherently

00:40:20.920 as america europe has a different vocation on the world stage you said that christianity is a

00:40:26.980 middle eastern religion and of course it absolutely is but its influence um was most uh on on on a

00:40:34.820 civilization was most noted and most felt had most permeated the the the western european the you know

00:40:41.800 the the the the western europe um on on the european continent that's where the idea of christianity

00:40:48.800 really sort of flourished to its maximum um ability and the vocation right now at the stage

00:40:56.120 because i don't think we're going to make it in europe and i said this before on the show i think

00:40:59.760 america might have it within itself to to overcome its present challenges and so i i don't think that

00:41:06.120 that's still possible in europe in europe for a number of reasons our role in europe and you know

00:41:10.500 you mentioned saint augustine we have a we have a similar um a similar dynamic now saint augustine

00:41:15.980 the probably i would say the greatest philosopher the greatest theologian and in the whole history

00:41:22.000 of christendom he was writing in north africa um right basically as as as pagan europe declined to the

00:41:33.060 um to to the barbarian forces this was like an epoch world shattering event people couldn't understand it

00:41:41.260 and saint augustine made sense of it all and instead of this being sort of an opportunity uh i think

00:41:47.640 where we're talking here so the the the the the the early fifth century instead of the collapse

00:41:52.520 of paganism being and the and the great roman empire blaming christianity saint augustine was actually

00:42:00.440 able to show how important christianity was as a religion and how rome's collapse wasn't due to the

00:42:07.560 fact that that way would abandon its old gods europe has a similar vocation right now we are going to

00:42:12.800 collapse as a civilization i think that that ought to be clear if we're not going to to descend into

00:42:19.320 happy talk and just um um foundationless optimism here what we have a role to do like saint augustine

00:42:27.540 as our civilization here in europe collapses is show the world and specifically america what it must

00:42:33.820 not do if it wants to survive as a people and as a culture um so we have two different vocations

00:42:39.340 continental europe and the united states i as i say i think america might be able to make it through

00:42:44.600 it's not it's not certain um in europe i don't think we will but as we sink under the waters under the

00:42:50.960 waves i hope we're able to convince that the people in america who are fighting for for for these for

00:42:57.900 america's fundamental principles and values i hope we're able to to give the the philip necessary so

00:43:04.300 that they can take take our demise forward and and use that as the illustration of what will happen

00:43:10.420 to america if those who hate it from within succeed

00:43:14.900 ben i've known you for a long time it's one of the most powerful things i've ever heard you say i want

00:43:21.040 to go back and just hit rewind for a second you're saying it's pretty obvious to you and this has given

00:43:25.720 your experience in in london and in brussels and now in rome that european civilization and as great

00:43:33.080 as ava and what's happening at cpac hungary and orban and all this you actually see it at a point of

00:43:39.840 no return that it will collapse it's at a point of no return there there's no major event do you think

00:43:45.460 that could reverse what's happened in europe um i think it's too far gone um but you know the people

00:43:54.100 the ethnicities if you will will continue in one form or another but what we call the judeo that

00:44:00.440 the judeo-christian element we talk about the judeo-christian tradition of course let's be

00:44:04.940 specific there is there's a judeo-christian tradition but the religion is christianity right

00:44:10.260 this culture built on on christianity is um is going to collapse and the reason is is because we are no

00:44:17.440 longer a christian tradition i go christian uh christianity based collection of societies we are

00:44:25.760 post-christian and that's really absolutely important because at some point you know let's

00:44:30.640 go for 1968 specifically in europe at some point right across the european continent the decision

00:44:36.660 was actually made to decouple the the countries that one country by country from christianity and to go

00:44:45.400 more sort of in a secular in a secular basis um so what we're what we're talking about here is is are

00:44:53.280 we really going to fight to defend a post-christian society which as far as i'm concerned is worth

00:45:00.080 absolutely zero um or not and we're not fighting to defend it and what we can see taking and when it

00:45:06.980 comes to culture when it comes to religion but i'm an absolutist i believe in jesus christ i think all the

00:45:12.540 religions are fake when it comes to culture i'm absolutely darwinian let the great let you know 1.00

00:45:17.640 let the strongest culture win um and we are we are we have enfeebled ourselves so catastrophically

00:45:25.340 as a culture there's nothing in it worth defending and even and that you know that's why you see the

00:45:31.720 architects of our demise have so little resistance because you know who's going to fight to the large

00:45:38.080 ditch for a bunch of progressive platitudes which are self-evidently false nobody um what we have

00:45:44.820 um this comes back to the point of the fact that that the our our civilization is is under attack from

00:45:50.980 from from without is we have the emerging sort of presence of islam and that is a culture founded

00:45:58.100 on islam is far more stronger than a post-christian culture founded on meaningless secularism and we're

00:46:05.440 going to give way we are giving way and we are going to give way and every basically every day

00:46:10.280 on this show steve we are illustrating how this epoch changing transformation is taking place

00:46:16.720 that is i have to repeat this i believe in jesus christ jesus christ is true god right and religion

00:46:23.320 and faith founded on his revelation is absolutely true islam is not a true religion muhammad was not the 0.95

00:46:30.820 prophet of allah um it's not a supernaturally true religion but a religion founded on his teachings

00:46:37.520 is far stronger than what we have today in the post-christian sphere which is basically platitudes

00:46:43.400 based on nothing that's why that's why i think um it's curtains for for the european continent

00:46:51.280 did the did was it the trauma did the elites do this decoupling of christianity because if you think

00:46:59.780 about it post-world war ii was really the strength of the american church we had been the quote unquote

00:47:06.260 the victors in world war ii the underlying ordinary person was was the key to that you had a strong you

00:47:12.860 had a rising and strong catholic church you had a strong traditional protestant church this kind of

00:47:18.460 christian it was the 1950s up into the 60s where the rise or kind of the the penultimate of that but

00:47:26.000 at the same time europe's decoupling was it the trauma of world war one and world war two because

00:47:31.100 we had very little to none of the physical trauma we clearly had all the psychological trauma of the

00:47:38.020 combat casualties and the agony of the of the wounded and all that but uh in the missing but in world war

00:47:45.140 one and two the devastation of europe itself is that what caused the elites to basically flip and say

00:47:50.460 we have to decouple from this well you know second world war certainly shifted the the dynamic the

00:47:58.240 imperial dynamic from the british empire to to the united states and that was that was a project 50

00:48:03.940 years in the making in and of itself but often people will refer to the first world war as the

00:48:09.200 element that on a on a psychological level we fundamentally lost our innocence that we'd preserved

00:48:15.500 for 19 centuries uh just a massacre their meaningless mass because of course the second world war was a

00:48:21.660 war over over something important the first world war was not the first world world first world war

00:48:27.660 was really just an absolute mean meat grinder over very little um you have the pride of the nations

00:48:34.460 combating one another and in a sense we lost our sense of of of innocence that's not that's not

00:48:39.420 original to harm or but you know i'm just saying what other historians have noted i think yeats the poet

00:48:45.020 yeats talked talked about the loss of the ceremony of innocence in his poem um um the antichrist

00:48:53.100 um you know but you can see it you can see it it's psychological and of course people who lived

00:48:58.140 through that came of age through that their parents that was sort of basically what you know and the

00:49:02.360 second world war of course that's really what came to fruition um in the 1960s now you mentioned the

00:49:07.480 1950s and in american context the catholic church in the united states in the 1950s before the

00:49:14.780 second the so-called second vatican council was so strong demographers had basically said if the

00:49:22.020 current trends of conversion from protestantism to catholicism continued within a hundred years there

00:49:27.520 wouldn't be any protestants left um because the catholic church was so strong um at that point of course

00:49:34.240 what happened we steve in the catholic church uh at the national cultural political level what happened

00:49:40.940 we stabbed ourselves in the back or to be precise we were stabbed in the back by alien philosophies

00:49:48.380 um and we're living with these consequences sort of 17 years onwards we're suffering with these

00:49:55.080 consequences and if it's bad for us god help our kids and and the next generation of what they're 0.98

00:50:00.580 going to go into look peter it's coming through in at one pole after another steve this is the first

00:50:06.600 time basically since records began both in in in in the uk but also in the united states where parents

00:50:13.360 think that their kids are not going to have a higher standard of living than they had and there was

00:50:18.000 generation after generation of generations said look things are getting better our kids will have a better

00:50:22.360 standard of living than us that's no longer the case i think on on a deep cycle psychological level

00:50:28.760 we we realize that the fan has incoming

00:50:33.080 uh last thing this will only take i only get a minute for this but didn't saint benedict see this

00:50:42.520 in the dark ages and that's why he argued for a smaller a smaller church or church but of centers of

00:50:48.600 of really lived christianity and that would see us through the dark age and of course pope benedict

00:50:53.060 saw the same thing is it could that get us through smaller communities of lived christianity

00:50:58.760 that gets us through this new dark age

00:51:00.440 i'm not a fan of that singer i'm not remotely a fan of that singer and saint benedict the founder of

00:51:08.780 western monastic the founder of western monasticism certainly had a genius a certain genius um and of

00:51:15.660 course saint benedict is considered to be one of the founders of europe as a as a culture as a religion

00:51:22.160 we're having founded western monasticism which basically was a key component in the development and

00:51:27.440 growth for what what over well over a thousand years one and a half thousand years across all

00:51:31.900 the european countries i think basically look the answer to that question what is

00:51:37.680 what is going to save christendom no what is going to save christianity are people who believe in jesus

00:51:45.600 christ and will put that belief first in everything that they do on every single level on every single

00:51:52.100 metric um that's not talking about saving the idea of christianity as a cultural force it's talking

00:51:59.040 about passing on that saving the the the the the saving faith the grace of that saving faith from

00:52:06.340 generation to generation uh on on the micro level rather than the macro level on the macro level i i i you

00:52:13.080 know i it's so lot it's so bad steve here in in worms you see the negative impact that the presence

00:52:19.960 of an unchristian catholic church is having on italy is absolutely horrific that's a subject we could

00:52:25.660 do a whole show on that just how bad things are in it yeah thanks to the presence of this organization
