For the first time since the Nazis, a far-right party has won a state election in Germany, marking a massive victory for a party that launched in 2013. In the wake of this historic win, the media and the mainstream media are quick to label the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party as "far-right" and "extremists" and focus on the fact that the AfD is considered to be on the far right of the political spectrum in Germany.
00:02:23.160wednesday 4th of september and no domini 2024
00:02:28.040harnwell here at the helm filling in for steve bannon so you heard uh claudio lavanga just talking
00:02:34.600uh a moment or so ago um i'm talking uh the afd here and um uh it's candidate that that won in the
00:02:43.240thuringia um talking using prohibited language um
00:02:50.680and obviously the media i'm sure you've all seen this as i have i the media's all talking about this
00:02:55.000is the first time a far-right political party has won a state in germany in the federal elections
00:03:01.400since the second world war and the nazis um my first guest on the show today is deputy leader
00:03:08.120of the alternative for deutschland uh beatrix von stork beatrix good evening to you thank you for
00:03:16.200coming on the show um look so my first question um is about the the extremist label here because all
00:03:26.600these all these terms and all these concepts are always pushed in together uh sort of anti-immigration
00:03:32.840anti-islam automatically makes far right which is a strange conclusion when you think that the former
00:03:39.160leader of the linker the left in germany sarah wargen connect uh polled 15 and she's sort of taken over
00:03:47.640the left already um on pretty much a left wing an economically left-wing platform but anti-immigration
00:03:55.320so the first thing i would like to ask you is how accurate is it for the mainstream media to portray the
00:04:03.320the results that we saw on on um sunday and just so just to mention what those results are uh explicitly
00:04:10.280in thuringia the the afd scored 33 of the vote that's a clear win and in saxony um
00:04:18.360coming in uh uh with 30 percent those extraordinary extraordinary results and in a proportional
00:04:25.400representation system how accurate therefore is this label um that these results reflect a rise
00:04:34.040of extremism and far right when even the left one faction of the left the most popular i think perhaps
00:04:40.360arguably the most arguable no in fact if you think about it the governing coalition between the the left
00:04:46.360the left the left led the social democrat left coalition with its two coalition partners the
00:04:50.920greens and the the the the the free um the free democrats right between then they they got 15
00:04:58.200so the the the most popular voice now in germany on the left is elise in thuringia is is the is the bsw
00:05:05.960um how accurate therefore is it to portray an anti-immigration platform as extremists on right wing
00:05:13.080to win well there you can see how desperate they are i mean in thuringia we uh came in first by far so
00:05:23.00010 points ahead of the christian democratic party uh which is trying to be the next chancellor and so
00:05:33.080they try to label us to not be forced to go into the argument with us they have no more arguments to
00:05:41.560fight us so they try to label us which makes it far easier if you can label especially in germany someone
00:05:47.960as far right that is very clear that no one wants to talk to someone who is far right which equals nazi which
00:05:57.080equals the the the the the third right so that's their last desperate uh effort to prevent to really
00:06:06.760come and debate our arguments we have got very hard arguments and there are very good reasons for the
00:06:12.840people to vote for us and the first and most important issue in the country and in these regional
00:06:20.280elections were migration crisis yes and the impact on islam of islam in our societies so by labeling us
00:06:30.280in a bad way they are trying to you know hide that they have no arguments against our approach to politics
00:06:39.720and that would mean mainly at the very moment close our borders get control of our own borders because
00:06:46.120too many people coming in here illegally they do not use the word illegally they use the word irregular
00:06:54.280but they're illegal they're coming here without papers and then they will stay forever and they
00:06:58.920will get the german passport after three or five years so this is what we're addressing and they have no
00:07:06.200answer for different reasons the greens for ideological reasons they uh they just want more migration they
00:07:13.560just want more people from all of the world come to germany they don't want to stop this uh the spd is too
00:07:20.040weak and the the the liberals are lost i'm talking about uh the the chancellor in germany on a federal level but on
00:07:27.320the regional level the issues were the same so they just don't have any other option to go against us and this ends up in in us uh winning the election
00:07:40.760and during year again we came in the first 10 points ahead of cdu the christian democratic union
00:07:48.920and in saxonia which is a bit bigger there we came in very shortly second so almost first you can say
00:07:57.480thirty percent plus so we're we're i mean maybe this last number we had thirty percent all the governing
00:08:09.000parties on the federal level afd um in germany um which is the greens the the the social democrats
00:08:16.600and the uh so-called liberals they together had somewhat like 12 percent all three governing parties
00:08:25.240together we're at 30 percent in both those regions so they're just desperate and there's some something
00:08:33.000else which is of importance uh even though the governing parties are so desperate and so broken
00:08:39.800and so ruined and so out of concept and and everything um the cdu the christian democratic party the other
00:08:47.640uh bigger opposition party in the german parliament they do not really benefit from this so they're
00:08:53.640also very very deep and so they see that afd is rising and they run out of arguments
00:09:02.920so look you you um you're presently a member of the german parliament you're a former member of
00:09:09.000the european parliament it's your 10th year now as deputy leader of the afd did you ever think
00:09:16.520that you would see a time beatrix von stork that between the afd and um this the sarah wagen connect
00:09:26.120grouping um that between the two of you uh you would come up with approximately 48 percent uh now between
00:09:33.880your two groupings on on what is basically a hard line it's not extremist but it's a hard line
00:09:40.040anti-immigration platform there is something and you saw it in the european elections as well there is
00:09:46.600something taking place in germany right now a movement a change of heart a change of mind taking
00:09:53.560place across germany right now um so my first question is did you ever think you you would see
00:09:58.920this situation where two political parties that's between you and this popular new populist formation on
00:10:05.160on the left um it's important just to remember that that the sarah wagen connect group is grouping is
00:10:12.200a grouping on on the left of the populist anti-immigration left-wing economic policies is a
00:10:18.840party on the left which has uh an equally hardline immigration position as yourselves did you think
00:10:26.040that you would get to this point where you basically now have half the german people behind you
00:10:30.520um and as a consequence of that can you now say that this cordon sanitaire that the establishment
00:10:38.600political parties have tried to impose on you has failed as a containment uh policy and then finally
00:10:45.000uh beatrix my question is is this the end for olaf schultz it should be the end of olaf schultz he
00:10:52.760should resign and even with his own coalition uh they are come the voices are coming up with this idea
00:11:00.440because they know they run out of any kind of concept they never had some if you ask me but now
00:11:05.880it's very obvious they don't have any idea how to run the country um if it comes to the cordon sanitaire
00:11:12.040sanitaire uh it is you know partially breaking away it's still there it's still it's still you know
00:11:19.000all wrong but people start to question it especially in those countries where the elections took place
00:11:25.960so it is a way to go we have a way still to go to break this cordon sanitaire down and i think in the
00:11:33.400end we will succeed what i would question a little bit is the way you stress that the the leftist uh
00:11:41.240populist party uh or you can even say left-wing extremists uh around sarah wagenknecht um they are
00:11:49.080trying to come up with some kind of uh immigration criticism and they they are anti-immigration there
00:11:56.280but not as strong as uh you made them because you must know uh this group around sarah wagenknecht which
00:12:04.360now also had a very good result in those both elections they are just they just split off of the
00:12:10.680lefting party the former communist party of the gdr and they supported open borders i i would say four
00:12:18.600weeks ago they were all in favor of more migrants they were voting in favor of everything what would
00:12:25.720make it easier for illegal migrants to come in to stay here to get a passport everything so the the same
00:12:32.120people who were talking in in a different way a few weeks or months ago they are now shifting uh on on
00:12:39.560this specific issue to our side and trying to go a bit against this uh this um mass migration issue
00:12:48.040because they know people are just fed up with it so i would not rely so much on them but if you ask me
00:12:55.240if i would have expected that there was would be such a rise on our side with afd to be honest i would
00:13:03.400say yes i have expected this from the very minute of the beginning of our party why because that's just
00:13:12.680reasonable what we present as politics is just reasonable this is what the country needs we need
00:13:19.560to stop illegal migration and we need to stop trying to save the planet by destroying our economy in
00:13:28.280transforming our economy into a green economy you know without co2 and all this uh you know climate
00:13:36.760change rubbish and so it is just a question of time that the majority of the people will understand
00:13:46.920that this ruins their life and there are only two options out it's either the other parties so the
00:13:54.440social democrats the liberals the greece they will never and the cdu the christian democrats they will
00:14:00.920turn and overtake our program to protect our land and our economy and our people or afd will win even
00:14:13.080with bigger uh percentage as we just did because you can just see that they are bringing our country
00:14:24.280at the edge of collapse and this is what people understand more and more and in the eastern part of
00:14:31.000germany where these elections took place people are more likely to understand they are just
00:14:38.600better in in in in seeing and realizing what is ongoing uh as uh in the in the western part of germany
00:14:47.000it's a bit more difficult but even there they they start to understand and um uh vv which is our you
00:14:54.840know most vv automobile concert um is one of the biggest uh companies and well known for german uh wealth
00:15:05.720and and and and development and everything they have come up with the the the message a day after the
00:15:13.640election of course that they are starting to think to close down their the fabrication of cars in germany
00:15:23.720at some at some uh in some areas which would be devastating that will be a catastrophe for the
00:15:30.360region and for all of germany so people start to understand that this is the reaction of a huge huge
00:15:38.200company which is crucial for our economy and for our people and they declare we cannot keep up the
00:15:46.520work like we did because of the policy of all the other parties so they have just to switch policy if they
00:15:53.960don't we will have uh and we will win even even bigger victories next time
00:15:59.720i know you have to go but before you do um i must ask you very quickly um the press is quite skeptical
00:16:08.440of the idea that in thuringia at least there might be some kind of coalition between the afd and sarah
00:16:14.920bargain connects group uh can you can you say shed any light on this because they're obviously going to
00:16:20.680go to the opposition that is going to get the establishment is going to go to extreme measures to try to
00:16:26.600continue its containment policy on you it's very difficult when you have a sort of 33 percent uh
00:16:33.880of the vote um is there a possibility that you that the anti-immigration i with all you bearing in
00:16:41.160mind what you said about the the transformation that this particular uh group has made in recent
00:16:46.600months but is there any possibility that that between the afd which has had many years of having a hard
00:16:52.680line anti-immigration position on the right of the political spectrum that you might work uh with
00:16:59.080this new grouping on the left that at least at the present moment uh is offering similar sorts of
00:17:06.120noises on the immigration front well from our side if we can approach a specific political topic for
00:17:14.600example migration uh and we can join in and make joint decisions and have a majority there and then
00:17:22.520we are open of course to do so we are not you know we don't keep the cordon sanitaire and say we don't
00:17:28.120talk to those because they're like left-wing extremists which they are but when it comes to politics and when
00:17:33.400it comes to specific issues we are willing to cooperate with everyone because what what is important for us
00:17:40.040is the country we put the country first and what is good for the country and with the majority when
00:17:46.280there's a majority in some in a parliament to move the country forward and to take good decisions we will
00:17:53.320do so uh that's the difference to all the others and one must say that even the the uh which is the
00:18:00.760name of this leftist group you were talking about they have already made clear they will not work together
00:18:07.320with us so you can you can sum it up and say the only one who puts the country first and the party
00:18:14.200second that's the afd and people acknowledge this and this is why we are winning elections
00:18:22.760patrix von stork very grateful for you to come on the war today uh before you go where can people go to

00:19:17.480important point thank thank you for reminding me of course freie welt is a newspaper which covers all these
00:19:23.560issues in german but that can be translated thank you you're most welcome thanks for joining us on
00:19:30.360the show beatrix and we look forward to catching up again with you soon god bless for now um moving now
00:19:36.920to the us domestic uh political agenda uh clater mitchell uh joins us to give us an update on the debate
00:19:47.960on whether the republicans are going to do anything or not with regards to the save act whether this is
00:19:53.400going to be tagged on to this continuing resolution or not clater good afternoon to you um what what
00:20:00.840what's the latest here on this really quite it's not just important it's absolutely essential probably
00:20:06.040one of the most essential things i think the war has covered um in recent years it could transform
00:20:10.520american politics right well yes i mean what we're seeing i mean what you're talking about is the save act
00:20:18.040safeguard american voter eligibility which would correct a problem created by the united states
00:20:25.400supreme court 11 years ago when it said that the state of arizona could not get a specific state
00:20:34.760specific instructions to require documentary proof of citizenship when registering to vote in arizona
00:20:40.920because they have to use the federal form and the federal form developed by the election assistance
00:20:46.680commission just ask you to check a box are you a citizen yes or no but no proof and so we've seen
00:20:52.280over the decades since that has been in effect the 20 year 22 years that um that people who check the
00:21:00.120box know they're not a citizen they get registered anyway we see the state if we saw the state of
00:21:05.000pennsylvania admit that their software literally enrolled over 200 000 non-citizens in the automatically in the
00:21:16.440database of voters they had this came from the department of transportation and dumped in over 200 000
00:21:23.000non-citizens in the state of pennsylvania's voter rolls i mean if i could go on and on about the problems
00:21:29.480the save act was introduced by congressman chip roy with over 100 uh 200 co-sponsors and it was passed by
00:21:38.120the house in june in july and the senate bill was introduced by uh senator mike lee and it's sitting
00:21:48.200there and this would add that bill to the continuing resolution and require documentary proof of citizenship
00:22:03.160well look what once you're just uh taking that sip of water let me ask you a question on on this issue
00:22:08.280on my reading of this that the problem seems to be by all accounts that that speaker mike no johnson
00:22:14.600johnson is willing to to go through the motions of supporting the the the the the the the the tagging
00:22:22.600on of this save act onto the cr but um privately he's not it's very positive on the on its outcome
00:22:29.560because he doesn't think he has the votes uh and of course that really is an illustration of where the
00:22:36.200gop is right now because the gop that will be the problem on this rather than um the democrats if
00:22:42.040you think about it because it's the gop that notionally controls the house they ought to have
00:22:46.120the arithmetic on this but they don't uh and that i think sort of comes back to a point which i
00:22:51.880find myself saying from time to time but in america really the the most important elections are really
00:22:57.640primaries rather than elections at the ballot box because you need to americans need to get rid of
00:23:03.800they want if they want to get rid of the globalists of the rhinos the time to do that is when they are up
00:23:09.880for reselection that's the whole beauty of having elections every two years for congress that ought to
00:23:15.720be easy thing to do somehow we never get around uh the the the the maga movement never seems to get
00:23:22.520around to uh in the main part to to carrying its potential into actual results but that's the problem
00:23:30.360isn't it it's a gop congressman can't be supported to to vote for uh an act that would insist that only
00:23:38.840american citizens uh can vote in elections and that they provide the evidence for that the proof that
00:23:44.520voters provide the evidence for this well there's a lot to unpack in what you just said and yes it is
00:23:51.080true that there are republicans in the house republican conference who vote more like democrats than they
00:23:57.800do republicans and some of them are very conservative districts so it does make you wonder why the citizens
00:24:04.280the conservatives the maga uh base of the of america why they do not get rid of these incumbent
00:24:11.880republicans who are voting against maga interests they don't like president trump they don't like
00:24:17.000his supporters and yet they get keep getting reelected um but that and that is a problem but i i don't want
00:24:24.040to remove the the uh i don't want to remove the blame for democrats because all but five democrats in
00:24:32.040the house voted no against the save act and we had all these democrats who voted against um making sure
00:24:40.280that the district of colombia doesn't allow non-citizens to vote so we have problems with the democrats too
00:24:47.800okay clayton standby we're back in two minutes after this short break and following clayton the war room
00:24:52.680will actually be proposing a solution of what maga might do uh with regards to its mostly useless representatives

00:29:38.200patriot act this gave the government power to spy on innocent americans by monitoring our phone and email and tracking our
00:29:45.480movement across the internet now jim records editor of the independent financial newsletter strategic
00:29:51.640intelligence and new york times best-selling author is warning about a coming event that could elevate
00:29:57.560this governmental surveillance to a terrifying new level in fact some of the guests i've had on the
00:30:03.000war room believe that the government will soon expand their powers to track our every move if we say
00:30:09.320the wrong things on social media donate to the wrong causes buy firearms or even vote maga the government
00:30:15.960may be able to shut us out of our bank accounts i can't say for sure if this will happen but it's an
00:30:22.600interesting and dire warning fortunately jim records an american patriot and friend of mine has made it his
00:30:28.600mission to educate us on what he believes is coming and how to protect yourself from the possibility
00:30:35.400of programmable money watch jim's warning video now before it's censored like i've been in the past
00:30:42.760go to recordswarroom.com that's recordswarroom.com now to see the video all this nonsense all this spin
00:30:51.720they can't handle the truth war room battleground with stephen k bannon
00:30:56.360welcome back so i was just talking with katie mitchell before the break um and there is something
00:31:04.760that that americans can do that the war in posse can do in the face of um gop representation that is
00:31:14.440willfully deaf at times two things second thing we're going to discuss with grace tron in just a moment
00:31:21.080or two's time but um clater you're telling me that there's an activity a week a theme the week coming
00:31:27.800up um next week uh tell us a bit about this uh nation only citizens vote week sounds like a great idea
00:31:37.320it is we want everybody to focus on the fact that that only citizens are supposed to vote in american
00:31:43.640elections that is the law and it is the law in most states there are some left-wing cities like
00:31:49.800san francisco new york city others that have adopted the district of columbia where you can
00:31:54.760work for the chinese communist embassy be chinese communist you can vote in dc elections think about
00:31:59.880that for a moment but um we're having the national only citizens vote week september 15th so starting
00:32:07.560a week from sunday through uh the 20th through that following friday the reason that week has been
00:32:14.520chosen is because tuesday september 17th is national constitution and citizenship day it's when we
00:32:22.120celebrate and commemorate the passage of the united states constitution by the constitutional convention
00:32:28.360in philadelphia 237 years ago it celebrates citizenship it celebrates our constitution we want that week we
00:32:36.200want citizens all over this country and elected officials and local officials and congress to focus on
00:32:43.960fixing it fixing our elections so that only citizens vote so if you will go to our website
00:32:51.080www.onlycitizensvotecoalition.com onlycitizensvotecoalition.com we have toolkits that people can download
00:33:03.800they can figure out what they can do in their counties their cities to go to local county commissioners
00:33:10.040go to the local election board go visit your department of motor vehicles find out if they're
00:33:15.480illegally registering people who can't who are not citizens go to your local post office i learned
00:33:21.160today someone was saying that they're issuing passports to people who don't speak english us
00:33:26.760passports you're supposed to be a citizen to get a passport it's a proof of citizenship but
00:33:33.320we have all these forces where the government bureaucrats have been taking their their cues from left-wing
00:33:41.080activists we have to stand up we have to be the ones and we have a whole set of materials and action
00:33:49.640items including talking to congress about adding the save act to the continuing resolution if we don't do
00:33:57.320something about this the left-wing progressive democrats are going to are going to swap our election
00:34:03.480with illegals and we can't let that happen okay to mitchell once again what was that website you read out
00:34:10.200www.onlycitizensvotecoalition.com sponsored by a national coalition of over 90 groups but go sign up
00:34:23.560sign up to get the newsletter look at the resources pages download signs that you can take to your
00:34:30.120election officials i will have draft resolutions draft letters to the editor call into your local
00:34:37.560radio talk shows get people in your neighborhood to understand this is a threat and let's just all make
00:34:43.640a lot of noise about this this is kind of like a neighborhood watch except it's a national
00:34:49.240uh non-citizen voting watch we're going to hold on to the theme of making a lot of noise and carried
00:34:55.640on over to my next guest claire mitchell thanks very much for joining us on the war and look forward
00:34:59.480to catching up again with you soon god bless for now thank you so much sir thank you um grace tronk
00:35:07.960good afternoon to you we're going to talk about um how americans can make some noise by discussing your
00:35:15.240app uh bill blaster i like to call it ball buster because that's basically what it gives the war and
00:35:21.400posse the the ability to do um tell me something you were listening to the previous segment there um
00:35:28.120how can this genius app which was your idea which you created which you put together how can um the
00:35:34.920posse use this app um to try and get the message through uh to their representation
00:35:41.640so before i get into bill blaster the app i just want to start off by saying it's the same old
00:35:50.920congress they wait till the last minute to shove down the cr down our throats and expect us to be
00:35:57.000grateful that they're attaching the save act onto it like it's some victory whatever happened to those
00:36:03.24012 appropriation bills i know chip roy was on earlier this week saying that the save act is not perfect
00:36:09.480but it's a damn good start and he said that they've worked on five out of 12 appropriation bills
00:36:15.160well that's maybe a decent start so you know we need to you know they come back it's a total scam they
00:36:23.240don't deliver on the appropriation bills they go on to vacation for a month and then they come back
00:36:28.120saying yeah we don't like to spend all that money but we need to now must we must have the cr now
00:36:33.960so it's all predictable the posse knows and that's why we need to be calling our representatives every
00:36:39.240single day asking them where are we on these appropriation bills so call them ask them where
00:36:46.120we're at with appropriation bills but also ask them uh if you support the save act being attached on the cr
00:36:52.760which is important call them for that but make sure to hold them accountable and you know like you said
00:36:59.640earlier before this segment um you know call your worthless useless republicans and make sure to
00:37:07.480tell them to hold the line and now i'll get into the bill blaster so bill blaster was created for the
00:37:15.720posse and it's an app where you can virtually call call your representatives with virtually one touch
00:37:22.280and it's been so successful and the posse loves it so um can i just get into where you where they can go
00:37:31.880download it yeah absolutely of course okay so yeah so um just go to bill blaster app dot org or war room
00:37:42.600dot org or you can just type in bill blaster one word into the apple app store or the google play store
00:37:51.560and you can um it's all there so we're really excited also i want to add in that we are working
00:37:57.400on phase two which is where we're going to add in the recent bills and you can read up about the bills
00:38:03.400how all your representatives voted so we're currently working on that we're going to add in notifications
00:38:08.680a lot of stuff so download it we're really excited but again it's up to us we have to keep on calling
00:38:16.600our representatives every single day whatever it is you stand on you have to let your voices be heard
00:38:25.480grace there was um an article i don't know if denver i only sent it through a few moments or so ago
00:38:30.520i don't know if they're going to have time to put this up on the screen um but it's fresh up in the
00:38:35.000the last few hours on the bbc uh website a u.s man was sentenced for 12 sent to 13 months in prison
00:38:42.840for 12 000 harassing phone calls to lawmakers um that guy's that guy i don't know anything about
00:38:51.160this story apart from the headline and the opening words of the article that guy's a personal hero of
00:38:55.880mine on that fact alone 12 000 harassing phone calls one guy alone um could make himself a nuisance
00:39:03.880if the whole of the war in posse uh and literally were to apply a hundredth of this guy's energy
00:39:11.400um the needle would would move it would move so quickly uh you'd get whiplash from watching it
00:39:17.160uh grace chung once again where do people go to download the app i have to note i tried to do it
00:39:21.880it was restricted um i think it's us um i couldn't do it here in italy i couldn't do it here in italy
00:39:28.760otherwise i would have done but but where do people go once again to download
00:39:32.520download your fantastic app so so the war room posse knows all about pressure campaigns
00:39:39.560that bbc article just imagine all of us doing it all at once so we so go to billblasterapp.org
00:39:46.680or warroom.org or you can go directly to the apple app store or the google play store and type in
00:39:53.720billblaster one word and download it straight from there so just do it right now start calling
00:39:59.480leave a message if you have to but session is back on the ninth and we got to get on top of it all of
00:40:05.960it great sean thanks very much for coming on the show today um and i look forward to catching up
00:40:11.800again with you soon best of luck god bless thank you uh we've got a quick video now for to introduce
00:40:19.000us into uh colonel derrick harvey linda sun and her husband chris hugh walked out of federal court on
00:40:26.120tuesday released on bail a 40 year old u.s citizen sun pleaded not guilty to taking millions in payments
00:40:32.440and gifts from chinese officials in exchange for influencing the highest levels of new york state
00:40:38.440government for years her husband pleading not guilty to money laundering governor kathy hochel's office
00:40:44.760says sun was hired a decade ago and fired in march of last year amid allegations of misconduct i'm
00:40:51.240furious and i'm outraged and absolutely shocked the second we discovered some levels of misconduct we
00:40:59.240fired her we alerted the authorities in a 65 page indictment prosecutors alleged sun blocked taiwanese
00:41:06.280officials from having access to the governor's office drafted unauthorized invitation letters to
00:41:12.040fraudulently get visas for chinese officials and changed messaging regarding issues of importance
00:41:18.760to china kickbacks went to her husband's businesses prosecutors say to fund a lavish lifestyle multi
00:41:25.480million dollar homes in long island and hawaii cash and luxury cars including a 2024 ferrari roma
00:41:33.160like this one that's priced over 260 000 the government says it will seize all of it including more than
00:41:40.600130 000 in a safety deposit box the couple and their family also received expensive gifts travel expenses
00:41:49.000paid and tickets to shows according to the indictment and on multiple occasions specialty salted ducks prepared
00:41:56.440by a chinese official's personal chef the doj calling sun's actions a direct threat to national
00:42:03.560security the way americans think about national security is being corrupted by foreign adversaries
00:42:12.280who want to tell us how to think and how to act and that is a national security threat these charges are
00:42:18.440disappointing outside of court sun's attorney defending his client we are looking forward to exercising our
00:42:23.800right to a speedy trial and addressing these these accusations in the forum where they're it's most
00:42:28.760appropriate which is a court of law i liked the uh the talking head there saying that it was a national uh
00:42:36.920national security threat that a foreign government wants to tell americans how to think and how to act
00:42:42.440but of course that's the job of the u.s government um colonel harvey do you believe
00:42:47.480governor hochel's protestations that she had no idea what was going on well i think that may be true
00:42:56.200although all of the state leaders senior leaders in new york and most of the other states have been
00:43:02.360briefed numerous times by the federal bureau of investigation about the significant counterintelligence
00:43:10.120threat posed by china our number one threat and how they leverage people of ethnic background from
00:43:19.400china either they were born here raised here or overseas in china that emigrate here and you know
00:43:26.280that's about 50 of the threat posture for china the other part of it about 50 is chinese active
00:43:32.760recruitment and development and development of sources and friends of china perhaps you know vice
00:43:39.400presidential candidate tim walls falls into that category that is done over years and years to try
00:43:44.760and gain influence gain knowledge and access so that they can steal our our secrets and our research and data
00:43:52.600of course the problem is is that you have a lot of um americans of chinese descent uh with chinese names
00:44:03.880who are 100 loyal to the united states of america and not to china um so what on earth what on earth uh can
00:44:14.040be done here uh to you know because obviously no one's calling for outright suspicion of anyone with an
00:44:20.760ethnic chinese background but there are also people coming in um to america and who are quite willing
00:44:27.880to be spies and act for the ccp's greater interests so as someone with a military background you know what
00:44:35.400sort of things beyond what's being done at the moment um should would you like to see a trump an incoming
00:44:42.280trump administration approach here to to resolve this problem of ccp infiltration across america's
00:44:50.520political class well there have been you know numerous studies done one was done by the house
00:44:57.080republican caucus in october of i believe 22 that addressed a whole range of issues our our chinese
00:45:06.920commission has approached these issues the congressional china commission has approached them
00:45:11.240but here's the thing this is a significant problem it's the largest counterintelligence and domestic
00:45:16.760spying and influence operation that the fbi faces they are under resourced for one they are also not
00:45:26.360prioritizing it to the degree that i would think because they continue to do other things that are of
00:45:31.480lesser lesser priority um like going after j6 people okay rather than you know going after these chinese
00:45:39.160threats across the country um you know it's a prioritization effort it's a matter of will
00:45:44.280um for our domestic focus which is the fbi which primarily has it but you know here's the other
00:45:51.160thing these briefings are done by the fbi and other organizations to universities to corporations to large
00:46:00.680banks to think tanks as well as local meaning counties and town and city administrators and leaders
00:46:11.800as well as state officials too often these warnings and the indicators that they should be looking for
00:46:18.280are ignored or they just are quickly forgotten and these people too often become witting or unwitting
00:46:24.840and with the money and and influence that they can throw around the chinese government look at what they
00:46:30.360did for these two people it's millions of dollars of wealth thrown their way favors honolulu homes you know
00:46:37.160even getting down to messaging you know the delivery of of salted uh peking duck to their homes um it's
00:46:45.560quite an influence effort and i'll just say when they invite someone to china and they pay for the trips
00:46:51.800and they hand them red envelopes with lots of cash to spend on the trip and they wine and dine them china
00:46:57.880doesn't do this out of the goodness of their heart they do it because they want to gain some influence
00:47:04.040either now or down the road in a decade or two that's how they operate um so there's no such thing
00:47:11.160as a free peking duck um you know i think the point you i think the point you mentioned um about prioritizing
00:47:19.000resources is a very good point um and it's not a facetious point either um the fbi is and this is not denied
00:47:27.480it's not contested it's expending resources on on following on persecuting
00:47:34.600on surveilling little old grannies whose crime to the u.s state is that they go and pray the rosary in latin
00:47:41.480um it's targeting traditionalist catholics um as opposed to young kids for example who want to shoot the president
00:47:48.600or um spies who are seeking to advance the influence of the ccp in america america need not do anything
00:47:57.160else introduce necessarily introduce any new legislation or or or give it secret services
00:48:04.040any extra powers than it has at the moment it just needs to you know the one thing it could do to make
00:48:08.600the situation better if i've understood you correctly is simply prioritize how it exercises
00:48:14.600its resources in a more politically prudent way uh in in a less politically woke fashion is that
00:48:21.800what you're saying colonel harvey absolutely correct and not going after school board uh
00:48:28.040sessions where parents complain about what's going on in a school board let's review a couple of things
00:48:33.240you know congressman uh swalwell who served on the house intelligence committee had his relationship
00:48:38.680with a chinese agent her name was fang fang the driver for um barbara feinstein you know who was
00:48:47.080also on i believe the senate intelligence committee you know was a chinese agent uh one can go down the
00:48:52.920list of these that just happened to be discovered after decades of you know working for chinese influence
00:49:00.760or acquiring information and china can use very benign information like this miss you know um um linda
00:49:08.520sun she worked for the labor department in new york state what access to that information could have
00:49:15.080been how could that have been transferred to china for their gain you know they have very very very
00:49:20.600capable ways of leveraging even what might be seemed what might seem to be you know very innocuous
00:49:27.400information colonel harvey that's perfect and that is literally all we have time for today thank you
00:49:33.720for joining us joining us on the show today we look forward to catching up again with you soon my
