Bannon's War Room - WarRoom Battleground EP 616： Cleaning Up Arizona Elections; Steps To Get Involved

00:00:00.000 this is what you're fighting for I mean every day you're out there what they're doing is blowing

00:00:11.680 people off if you continue to look the other way and shut up then the oppressors the

00:00:18.660 authoritarians get total control and total power because this is just like in Arizona this is just

00:00:24.580 like in Georgia it's another element that backs them into a quarter and shows their lies and

00:00:29.320 misrepresentations is why this audience is going to have to get engaged as we've told you this is

00:00:33.600 the fight all this nonsense all this spin they can't handle the truth war room battleground here's

00:00:40.640 your host stephen k bannon wednesday 18th september anno domini 2000 and 24 harnwell here at the helm

00:00:51.220 filling in for stephen k bannon we're going to go straight into the show now with with josh hammer

00:00:57.820 and talk about the um the presumed israeli strike against hezbollah in lebanon josh good morning

00:01:07.420 um the first thing i'd like to say is that this is seems to be an astonishing feat um obviously there

00:01:16.360 are wider strategical interests um and it was expected for some time right that that israel was

00:01:22.940 going to make a move um on lebanese territory against hezbollah um but i don't think anybody

00:01:29.060 had in mind an operation of this type of sophistication um and obviously you know we're

00:01:37.820 going to drill down on this for the posse to to explain exactly what's happened yesterday and what

00:01:43.220 happened today there's been further um explosions um noted at a specific funeral for three of these

00:01:51.060 victims um before i ask you just to start unwrapping this um my hesitation as as an international

00:02:00.240 correspondent myself here the um my hesitation is that this is such a feat an accomplishment

00:02:07.060 on behalf of presumably mossad right the idf working together but such a technically perfect strike

00:02:15.980 it's possible that the analysis and this seems to be the case from from what i've been studying over

00:02:22.140 the last 24 hours the the analysis seems to be being sucked into the vacuum of what an amazing

00:02:29.020 feat this was i mean after um as you were pointing out to me earlier on today after the the the humiliation

00:02:36.160 for the israeli security services after october the the 7th a strike of this brilliance seems to be

00:02:43.580 dominating the narrative rather than i think what this might mean um as part of the wider if i used

00:02:50.680 the words war but first off josh good morning to tell me um what exactly happened here um there's some

00:02:56.680 sort of third 3 000 pages primed to explode at the israelis command do we know yet um how this

00:03:06.320 how this took place was it an overloading of the lithium batteries or were there explosives placed

00:03:12.580 into each and every device and if so how did they actually go about doing that on a technical basis

00:03:18.460 so ben always great to join you so i i guess let's start with the with the tactics and then we can kind

00:03:24.820 of move towards strategy and geopolitics and all of that so i i mean this is an astonishing operation

00:03:30.000 i mean we should not mince words here this is a remarkably sophisticated spy agency operation

00:03:36.360 as one of my friends who actually himself formerly worked for the cia told me yesterday he said that

00:03:42.240 this is the kind of thing that spy agencies around the world will be studying 20 years from now as to

00:03:47.820 how exactly this happened the details of which we do not exactly know yesterday it seems like it seemed

00:03:55.960 like we thought that there was an explosive an explosive powder called petn that was essentially

00:04:02.100 smuggled into the roughly four to five thousand hezbollah pagers likely in the warehouse before

00:04:07.760 they were actually shipped out there which if true i guess regardless of the means regardless

00:04:13.160 we presume it's israel of course mossad idf you know they had access to the iran hezbollah supply chain

00:04:19.660 every which way so they had the intel to know that hezbollah was switching to these pagers which

00:04:24.500 humorously enough hezbollah was switching to these pagers because they thought that this was their way

00:04:29.360 of evading the mossad israeli drag net they thought that if they didn't have two-way cell phone

00:04:34.700 communication then their location their plans and so forth would actually be harder to pick up

00:04:39.160 that was actually kind of funny enough why they switched to pagers in the first place obviously that

00:04:43.100 bet did not pay off particularly well for them but israel apparently had access to the pagers

00:04:47.820 every which way of the supply chain when it got to the warehouse when it was disseminated

00:04:51.260 and you know an under-discussed brilliant element of this ben talk about four to five thousand

00:04:57.120 pagers essentially detonating and mass effectively what it seems like mossad did was they sent out a

00:05:02.220 mass message to all of the hezbollah operatives therefore they all checked their pager when they

00:05:06.380 checked it it exploded but the fact that this all happened it gave them a snapshot in time where they

00:05:12.340 actually saw the lights pop up on a map so you could actually see where hezbollah is i mean there's

00:05:19.160 no better intelligence than that you literally see based on which pagers are exploding who is where

00:05:24.620 all throughout lebanon all throughout syria you know perhaps a little bit in in jordan as well but

00:05:29.420 primarily those two countries and then today you had the two-way walkie-talkies exploding as well so

00:05:34.680 that that is why we think maybe it wasn't the pet and maybe it was this these lithium batteries

00:05:39.180 exploding but regardless what the actual means was it's an astonishing coup from assad as you alluded

00:05:44.300 to as a kind of thing they desperately needed to try to regain their their credibility and the

00:05:48.860 reputation coming up on a year after the october 7th massacre so it's a huge tactical victory

00:05:54.480 for massad and for israel i guess the broader question of course is what it means for strategy

00:05:59.100 and geopolitics and also i suppose for netanyol's domestic uh position right now um if it's if it was

00:06:10.880 the um the lithium batteries being overloaded what does it say about the origins of this speculation

00:06:19.320 this story which seems to be quite detailed um in its analysis that this was via um hungary

00:06:26.180 um uh and i think tyranese with a tyranese branded pages the tyranese company if that's just

00:06:34.600 share cover um where does that story come i mean i asked the question half knowing the answer but where

00:06:41.040 does that story come from and how come it has settled in so well and so quickly well look i mean anytime

00:06:48.580 you're blaming a place like taiwan i mean i think we know exactly where that sort of story is coming

00:06:52.960 from i mean that's that's clearly coming from china you know i mean there was there was a rumored

00:06:58.840 discovery uh so there were you know there's a thing called the philadelphia corridor so switching i

00:07:03.640 guess from the hezbollah front to the hamas front just for a second here there's a thing called the

00:07:06.920 philadelphia corridor which is the egyptian gaza border it's just south of rafa which is hamas's

00:07:13.400 southernmost strong called in gaza and one of netanyahu's war aims he's actually battling on

00:07:18.300 this front with many in the in the idf leadership who disagree with him but one of one of netanyahu's

00:07:22.580 announced war aims is that israel cannot any longer cease control of the philadelphia corridor in other

00:07:29.620 words they have to know exactly what egypt is trying to smuggle in or jihadists are trying to

00:07:34.420 smuggle in via egypt into gaza and so forth i say all that as context because it was about two to

00:07:40.660 three months ago or so that israeli intelligence and the military apparently found some some chinese

00:07:48.380 remnants there in the corridor put another way there was some physical evidence left behind from

00:07:54.920 the pla from the people's liberation army that they were actually involved there in assisting hamas

00:07:59.400 which should not be a shocker because china has taken massive steps over the past few years to

00:08:04.400 actually distance itself from israel some people think that that china might be a little peaked they

00:08:09.520 might be hurt because israel refused to work with china to build their mass port in haifa one of

00:08:14.780 israel's more important maritime ports on the mediterranean so china has kind of gone all in over the past

00:08:19.980 three to four years for the palestinian cause for the broader anti-israel cause they actually hosted a

00:08:25.980 a palestinian authority hamas rapprochement of sorts in beijing just about a month ago you had

00:08:31.400 hamas and mahmoud abbas from the plo basically side by side there so when you put all that in context

00:08:38.640 then it makes a lot of sense that china is going to take the side of hezbollah and start blaming

00:08:43.200 china's own arch rival their taiwan as well in a story like this again we don't actually know for

00:08:48.700 sure whether or not it was lithium batteries or this pet and explosive powdery substance we don't know

00:08:53.780 the exact means yet but it is a huge coup for israel whether they were working in tandem with other

00:08:58.520 countries or working on the run and you know frankly it's exactly the kind of morale boost that they

00:09:03.440 need right now it was only a handful of days ago that the houthis in yemen successfully shot a

00:09:07.900 surface-to-surface missile that landed right near ben-gurion airport in central israel thank god no

00:09:13.400 one was was killed by that but but but israel is looking pretty vulnerable right now you know we

00:09:17.820 we shouldn't lie about that i mean there is unprecedented in modern times jihadist activity

00:09:22.480 all throughout judea and samaria at the west bank and cities like annapolis janine various other

00:09:27.120 terrorist strongholds this this is a serious serious multi-front war and for for israel to pull off

00:09:32.560 a massive coup like this it's just a massive morale boost for the israeli people and also a

00:09:37.000 political victory as you said for netanyahu himself if it's a question that the lithium batteries

00:09:42.960 that the israelis have discovered a way of super overcharging these batteries in a very short time

00:09:49.100 to make them explode um that has national security implications for every other nation on the planet

00:09:56.520 right right you would think so because it means that everyone who's carrying a smartphone on

00:10:02.380 presumably not only a smartphone if they can do this to pages if they can do this to walkie-talkies

00:10:07.900 and anyone with it with a with a lithium battery device that they carry on their person

00:10:12.820 is carrying potentially a small explosive device um uh all our world leaders all of our legislators

00:10:20.200 anyone on an airplane uh this has massive implications and there's a crucial i think

00:10:28.080 public policy takeaway from that ben if it indeed is in fact lithium batteries not this explosive

00:10:33.560 substance for what it's worth my own personal prediction is i actually do think it probably was

00:10:37.760 just mossad getting access to a warehouse putting substance in but but you're right if it is lithium

00:10:42.180 batteries then that does have sprawling implications i'll tell you what my number one public policy

00:10:46.600 takeaway from that is if that is corroborated to be true which is supply chain integrity and you have

00:10:53.100 to know exactly what is going into your products at every single level of the supply chain put another

00:10:58.160 way if it actually ends up being lithium batteries and it could be especially given the fact that

00:11:03.560 earlier today we saw non-pager devices these two-way walkie-talkie start to explode so we definitely

00:11:08.540 cannot rule out the possibility that it was lithium batteries you know what that means to me as an

00:11:13.960 american as someone who opposes globalism and wants to see a a more robust economic nationalism is that

00:11:19.780 we need to double triple quadruple quintuple and so forth down on getting our our goods and at every

00:11:27.860 element the inputs of the supply chain away from countries just like china away from countries that

00:11:33.480 do not share our geopolitical interests against out of those countries that wish us harm you know it

00:11:38.460 really ought to make economic policymakers in washington dc and in other western capitals all throughout

00:11:43.820 the world to to feel all that more motivated to extricate themselves from this failed this failed

00:11:50.380 entanglement this dancing with the devil if you will this this false into this false economic ties

00:11:57.180 with china ever since really dang xiao ping in the late 1970s but especially since china's ascension

00:12:02.820 to the world trade organization in the early 2000s i'm sure finally in the last um two minutes could

00:12:10.020 just tell me if if you would um just go down and break down a little bit more um about bb netanyahu's

00:12:16.200 position that um strengthened uh but for how long so bb is in an interesting position i guess you would

00:12:25.460 say for lack of a better term there so he he was looking pretty precarious in the polling in the first

00:12:30.220 two to three months or so after october 7th as makes sense this is an unprecedented tragedy that

00:12:35.300 happened under his watch there but but he did fairly quickly regain his stature in the polling

00:12:40.420 after that for the very simple reason that after that kind of initial knee-jerk reaction i think the

00:12:44.920 israeli people basically looked at the other options and they said okay i mean i i think we're basically

00:12:50.100 stuck with him for better or for worse there's there's really no better option out there and you

00:12:54.360 know the israeli left ben has has been utterly decimated politically in israel over the past 15 20 years

00:13:00.000 there really is no israeli left actually you know the labor party was once the founding party of israel

00:13:06.060 david ben-gurion the first prime minister labor controlled the country for the first roughly three

00:13:10.420 decades of israel's existence ever since the failures of the land for peace agreements the the

00:13:16.760 second intifada ever ever since 2000 2005 and yasser arafat and all of that evil the israeli left has 0.83

00:13:23.080 been utterly decimated labor has has low single digit seats currently in the knesset last i checked

00:13:29.120 they're a total non-factor so there's really no other game in town and netanyahu also doesn't

00:13:34.600 really have any particularly viable figures on the right to my challenge him for that leadership as

00:13:39.980 well so he he really is the guy right now and you know that that is a problem for israel insofar as

00:13:46.440 he's been there for a long time he's in his 70s they really ultimately do need someone to be groomed

00:13:51.380 to success to succeed him but you know if i were if i were a netanyahu political advisor or something

00:13:57.700 along those lines i would feel pretty confident about my position right now i don't think that

00:14:01.340 he's going anywhere anytime particularly soon he's having a bit of an issue right now with his defense

00:14:06.120 minister yoav galant we'll see the way that they that that plays out but ultimately netanyahu does

00:14:11.260 still call the shots and he ultimately does still have the favorability of a majority of the israeli

00:14:16.380 um sadly very sadly that is all we have time for josh uh had we more time i'd ask you whether you

00:14:25.200 believe the um the statements uh that israel hadn't communicated this operation to the u.s

00:14:33.940 beforehand and they only briefed afterwards whether you believe that and if you do believe that

00:14:39.760 um what you deduce that means for the for the u.s israel relationship but there's no time and ask

00:14:48.200 you that um josh where do people go to to keep up with your superb writings um newsweek and your

00:14:55.740 podcast yeah thank you so much ben so i host two shows the josh hammer show in america on trial with

00:15:00.960 josh hammer i'm also senior counsel at the article three project article three project.org and you can

00:15:05.540 follow me on x josh underscore hammer perfect josh many thanks for coming on the show we'll catch up

00:15:11.860 again with you soon always a pleasure ben thank you thanks josh um so just as we're moving now

00:15:18.740 directly on to the the aforementioned u.s election joined now with bill mcginley bill good uh good evening

00:15:26.840 to you can you um can you tell me a little bit now as we're definitely into the final two months

00:15:32.700 of this race um tell me if you wouldn't mind give me an update on on how the elections are going

00:15:38.500 specifically with a view because i know this is something very that's very close to your heart to

00:15:43.040 do with the the volunteering aspects um and how important it is for folk to to get involved not

00:15:50.840 only for the get out the vote aspect but also for the election integrity aspect too sure um as great

00:15:59.600 to be with you ben uh thanks for having me um one of the things that steve and i would always like to

00:16:04.160 talk about and that uh i've been talking about on the appearances coming up to this um is really how

00:16:10.120 um important the posse is and the role that they play uh both in terms of election integrity um for

00:16:16.960 signing up to be poll watchers receive the trainings getting shifted making sure that you follow

00:16:21.600 through on those shifts um and and basically be in eyes and ears in the polling places and wherever

00:16:28.340 else the the party needs you and president trump's campaign needs you but you know you ask where we

00:16:34.520 are with the election um you're right we're less than 50 days out and the election has begun in many

00:16:41.020 states um a lot of requests for absentee ballots are starting to come in and in some instances this week

00:16:46.740 we may see some ballots being mailed out to voters so the time the time's up um people need to engage

00:16:54.080 in this um really kind of take ownership of this election uh because president trump and jd vance they

00:17:01.120 can't do it all themselves they really need your help and uh one of the things that we always talk

00:17:06.560 about is really kind of the pervasiveness um and and how much dark money the dems have in terms of 0.98

00:17:14.340 funding their operations whether it's opposition research it's messaging get out the boat uh any

00:17:20.720 of the other important aspects of elections they've got a whole constellation of c4s and c3s that don't 1.00

00:17:28.800 disclose their donors that shift a lot of money between these various groups and put it down into the

00:17:34.400 battleground states to try and turn out those voters that they think are going to support uh kamala

00:17:41.080 harris and and uh and and and tim waltz and so this is where the volunteers um really make the

00:17:49.360 difference and the great equalizer in this election will be the volunteer army um that the trump campaign

00:17:56.620 and the republican party can put together to help the candidates up and down the ballot and so really

00:18:02.560 the checklist um for everybody is as follows number one make sure that your registration is up to date

00:18:10.200 current and satisfies law take ownership of your registration take the time to verify it and make

00:18:17.960 sure that you have satisfied all the requirements and that you are on the voter rolls as an eligible

00:18:24.200 legal voter number two make sure that at least 10 to 15 of your family friends and neighbors are doing

00:18:31.740 the same thing to make sure that their voter registrations are up to date satisfy law so that they can cast

00:18:38.340 their ballot number three you've got to contact these people and urge them to vote early every state's

00:18:46.100 voting laws are different so you're going to want to go to swamp the vote usa.com once again that's

00:18:52.800 swamp the vote usa.com there's a useful tool there that's going to help you determine the most convenient

00:18:59.420 way for you to vote now after the events of the past couple of months and how many twists and turns

00:19:04.940 we've had i don't think we need to uh uh express to everybody how important it is for you to get your

00:19:12.220 ballots in early don't wait until election day if you have an opportunity to cast your ballot early

00:19:18.940 god knows what's going to happen whether it's a weather storm a business trip that you suddenly get

00:19:23.820 called on something comes up with the family don't wait until the last minute find a way find a way to vote

00:19:30.300 that you have faith in find a way to vote that is early so you can bank your vote for president trump

00:19:36.140 and jd vance and all of the republicans up and down the ticket and get it in the other thing is go to

00:19:42.620 protect the vote.com if you are in a battleground state and we've talked about these many times from

00:19:49.260 nevada to arizona to wisconsin to michigan to pennsylvania to virginia to north carolina down to georgia

00:19:58.300 and the other congressional battleground states or senatorial battleground states like montana

00:20:03.020 california new york and others please go there and sign up to be a volunteer poll watcher we can't do

00:20:11.180 it without your help we need responsible intelligent people which i know the posse is who can exercise

00:20:18.940 good judgment to be our eyes and ears in the polling place but also to basically help us make sure that

00:20:26.780 all of the laws and rules are being followed um so that at the end of this when president trump

00:20:32.300 and jd vance are elected everybody can have faith in the process and confidence in the results and we

00:20:38.700 can beat back the attacks that we know are coming from the democrats if you look at all of the the

00:20:43.660 rhetoric that they have launched at president trump we need to do what he's been saying all along which

00:20:49.500 is make the margin of victory too big to rig uh bill are you um are you satisfied uh with the way

00:20:59.260 these things going specifically uh with regards to registering gop likely voters to vote um are you

00:21:09.500 satisfied with where we are uh 50 days away yeah we've seen a lot of significant gangs gains toward the

00:21:16.620 republican side based upon the energy and enthusiasm for president trump and jd vance but

00:21:23.500 i'm a big college football fan one of my heroes is one of the greatest college football and you

00:21:28.380 talk about what your potential is but you also talk about where you are right now the difference there

00:21:33.020 is called the capability gap and so i'm never happy i'm only the only way that i'm going to be happy

00:21:38.940 is if we get more people to register to vote for president trump and jd vance and then to cast their

00:21:44.700 ballots um for them if we are able to win i'll be happy but until that day i'm never going to be

00:21:51.740 happy and we need to press press press we need to make sure that we are getting be a force multiplier

00:21:57.420 that not only are you taking care of your own registration think of it in the ways when you

00:22:01.180 get on an airplane put your oxygen mask on first before you put it on somebody else make sure your voter

00:22:07.020 registration is taken care of then go out and start talking to your friends families and neighbors

00:22:12.700 to make sure that they're doing the same thing and so if you want to ask me am i satisfied

00:22:18.060 i know we've made a lot of progress a lot of progress but i'm not going to be satisfied until

00:22:22.700 we win this election and we win it in a transparent a fair and secure way and so that's why it's on

00:22:28.940 incumbent upon all of us to do our part make the sacrifice of an hour or two a week and if you don't

00:22:35.420 live in a battleground state but you know people who do live in states like arizona nevada michigan

00:22:41.260 pennsylvania and the others call them and make them a false a force multiplier have activate them

00:22:48.540 to try and be a force for change because this is this election is way too important for people to sit

00:22:54.700 on the sidelines bill i just want to synthesize your your three points there it was to make sure

00:23:00.620 that you get yourself um on the electoral law that you register to vote if you haven't already done so

00:23:05.740 um that you get your friends and family to do so as well um only if they're republican voters right

00:27:10.620 power to spy on innocent americans by monitoring our phone and email and tracking our movement across the

00:27:28.860 surveillance to a terrifying new level in fact some of the guests i've had on the war room believe that

00:27:34.460 the government will soon expand their powers to track our every move if we say the wrong things on

00:31:04.540 all this nonsense all this spin they can't handle the truth war room battleground with stephen k bannon

00:31:16.140 welcome back well now a hundred thousand arizonans who have registered to vote over the past 20 years

00:31:24.460 um mistakenly um mistakenly because they were considered to have provided proof of citizenship

00:31:32.140 due to a quirk in the motor vehicle department system has come to light um and obviously that's

00:31:40.380 like we're talking about a lot of a lot of people here uh who better to dig down on what this means

00:31:47.660 than gina swoboda chair of the arizona gop gina good evening to you um i was particularly um look there

00:31:57.580 are a number of things to get to get into on this uh i don't understand however if you just start with

00:32:03.100 with this if you if you wouldn't mind arizona voters who can't provoke provide proof of citizenship are only

00:32:11.340 permitted to vote in federal elections um thanks to a 2013 supreme court judgment i don't get that

00:32:21.020 if you can't prove your citizenship why are you allowed to vote in any election let alone

00:32:30.300 a presidential election i agree with you uh thank you for having me back so justice scalia

00:32:37.660 wrote the opinion in that supreme court case that's intertribal counsel for those that want to go

00:32:42.700 search it on bing and essentially congress created the elections assistance commission and they created

00:32:51.660 a federal voter registration form and when they did that it precluded the states under the supremacy

00:33:00.300 clause of the constitution right once the federal government you know takes a lane we can't um obviate

00:33:07.420 what they do so once they created their own registration form and the only requirement

00:33:13.180 for proof of citizenship on that federal form is that little checkbox that says yes i'm a citizen

00:33:20.060 right so in arizona we passed a law the people did it directly on the ballot and we said you must

00:33:26.860 have proof of citizenship to register we did that in 2004 and then we got sued and then we went to scotus

00:33:34.620 and justice scalia said okay arizona if someone uses the state of arizona's voter registration form

00:33:41.980 and they don't give you proof of citizenship you can totally reject them they don't get

00:33:46.300 registered at all but if someone uses this federal form that congress created under the supremacy clause

00:33:53.260 you don't have the right to say no to that form so you're going to have to register those people but

00:33:59.260 since the states get to decide who votes in state elections you can just make them federal only and

00:34:06.380 they can only vote in federal elections and we tried for 20 years almost to fix it to ask the eac

00:34:14.940 please put a footnote that says in arizona on this federal form you have to give citizenship and they

00:34:20.300 won't do it so with then we passed our law that said all right well voting by mail we get to decide how you vote

00:34:27.260 so let's try to add it to voting by mail citizenship let's try to add it for president the constitution

00:34:34.060 says the states decide how the electors are selected right we don't have a national popular vote thank god

00:34:40.300 or we'd get out voted by la and you know uh new york we have an electoral college for president so we

00:34:46.700 get to choose that that's that's what's sitting in front of the ninth circuit right now is us trying

00:34:52.220 to say for president to vote by mail you have to have citizenship but we're not going to make it 1.00

00:34:57.340 to scotus in time for this election so that's how we got here okay so tell me about this 98 000 right

00:35:04.620 um these are people who have registered to vote statewide um on the basis that um thanks to it was a 1996

00:35:14.620 ruling um in arizona that um applications for driving licenses driving licenses needed to have

00:35:22.300 uh you need to be able to prove your citizenship in order to get that id um and then a number of these

00:35:27.740 um driving licenses obviously have been renewed and somehow we'll assume accidentally um those who'd

00:35:35.100 registered before the 96 um ruling i that is to say they they first had their driving license without

00:35:41.740 having provided uh people's citizenship they they found their way on to the um to the uh to the to

00:35:48.860 the voting lists and you're fighting here to keep them on um and that's a bit counterintuitive

00:35:57.500 i am thank you i know it is so so when we start with the premise that no matter what happens with

00:36:03.100 these 98 000 people they're gonna get a federal only ballot either way okay so right now uh motor vehicle

00:36:11.180 when these people updated their driver's license so let's say the issue date on your driver's license

00:36:17.100 was 2011 the motor vehicle then you know was like oh this is a of someone who does not need proof

00:36:25.260 of citizenship so if they registered to vote and their license was originally before 96 but they

00:36:30.780 changed their address or they did something to it and then they registered to vote after 2004 it made

00:36:35.740 them the full ballot so like we just talked about if you registered after 2004 in arizona you should

00:36:42.140 have presented documented proof of citizenship instead the system said oh it's okay this this

00:36:48.220 person's good so now here as we sit here gina about gina can i can i just cut in to clarify here

00:36:54.620 because the consequence of that 96 um uh law in arizona is that um if you have a driving license

00:37:03.420 dated post 1996 that is in its in and of itself now proof of citizenship correct if you do not

00:37:11.900 provide proof of citizenship when you get a driver's license in arizona post 96 you're an f f like you

00:37:19.740 know fake you're an f type driver's license uh but anyone before didn't have that that didn't exist so

00:37:26.700 now we have these people so here we are it's 21 days so we start early voting in arizona the

00:37:32.940 military ballots go out thursday our civilians overseas so we're going to start voting essentially

00:37:37.900 on thursday in arizona and they just came to us yesterday the governor's office and the secretary

00:37:42.140 of state and said hey we found this glitch we have 98 000 people and right now they're getting a full

00:37:49.260 ballot they've always gotten a full ballot we've never asked them for any information they don't know

00:37:55.180 as we're talking to each other these people have no idea anything's wrong right no matter what we do

00:38:00.300 they're still going to get to vote in the presidential senatorial and congressional races the question is

00:38:05.340 do we want to take these and of these people i have my little note here 36 000 are republicans so

00:38:12.220 the majority of them are republicans between the ages of 40 and 60 give or take and they've been

00:38:17.740 voting a full ballot all this time do we want to deprive these all these 98 000 people from voting in

00:38:24.940 the legislative races or the ballot measures i've got ranked choice voting and and a constitutional

00:38:29.900 abortion amendment i need these people to vote i have a one vote majority in each house in my

00:38:35.660 legislature i do not want 36 000 republicans to have to go find their safety deposit box with their

00:38:41.180 information and bring it in and most importantly we're not going to get to them in time like what

00:38:46.540 would happen is we have to mail them a postcard from the recorder and then they got to find it and then

00:38:50.620 they got to come in a lot of these people are probably on the mail ballot list we'll just lose

00:38:55.020 votes is what's going to happen and we're too close you know in that uh nvra motor voter law you're not

00:39:00.620 supposed to do routine voter list cleanup within 90 days of the election because you're not supposed

00:39:05.180 to confuse the voters so i want it done properly i am a fierce fierce advocate for cleaning up the

00:39:11.420 voter rolls this is why this is why we filed suits to try to get this stuff done we ran out of time

00:39:17.740 because people ran the clock on us and as we're sitting here i've got a hundred thousand people

00:39:22.220 that don't have the right documentation either way they're going to get to vote in the federal race

00:39:26.940 so when that's my baseline for making a decision my decision is to keep these 36 000 republicans in

00:39:32.540 the state of arizona eligible to vote no on ranked choice voting hopefully and no on the abortion

00:39:37.980 amendment hopefully and keep my legislature so that's what we're going to do it's important i think to

00:39:43.580 point out because of the the time period here we're talking about specifically of being pre-1996

00:39:50.380 obtainers of of the old form of the driving license without the proof of citizenship that have now

00:39:55.900 been reviewed so one can assume because we're talking about sort of nearly 30 years ago that the

00:40:00.860 majority of these people are legitimate um uh u.s citizens it's only for fact that they haven't uh

00:40:07.900 uh physically proactively provided that that proof uh when they when they registered for their driving

00:40:15.260 uh license but it's absolutely genius absolutely astonishing to me that you have a whole state

00:40:20.700 a whole state as large as arizona um with all the apparatus and all the people working for it

00:40:26.300 it doesn't it absolutely astonishes me that you can have an oversight of this nature that you can register

00:40:32.060 to vote on the basis of a driving license um but because of you know because you know it's been

00:40:39.020 grandfathered in if you will there might never have been at any point the demonstration of citizenship

00:40:44.300 behind that and and yet you have uh registered that yet you're on the registered voting rolls

00:40:50.140 um and that you know it's now as you say uh sort of less than two months away from from the election

00:40:58.220 and people are waking up to this now it's an astonishing especially after 2020 with all of

00:41:03.660 the attention on vote integrity it seems like uh you know what axios calls a quirk here i have no idea

00:41:10.140 how it is it's difficult to maintain a sense of uh trust and good faith um it's not the first thing

00:41:18.300 you would you you would check uh gina sadly that is all we have time for um very quickly where do people

00:41:24.380 go um to to help with the campaign uh to find out to follow your your um your advice uh on social

00:41:32.700 media yeah please go to at azgop on twitter go to azgop.com i'm filing an amicus brief today to make

00:41:41.260 sure i don't lose 36 000 republican votes against ranked choice voting and against the constitutional

00:41:46.460 abortion amendment so you can hit me at azgop.com forward slash donate and all the litigation that we

00:41:52.780 did and we're going to continue to fight to make sure these roles are clean and it's most important

00:41:57.340 to do this in the off year right so when i get past november 5th we're going to start filing everything

00:42:03.180 again in advance of the next cycle because we have to clean it up and we have to do it now

00:42:07.900 transparency is the only way thank you genius thanks very much for coming on the show uh once again

00:42:14.300 today god bless catch up again with you soon well my final guest now uh ryan walters the state uh

00:42:22.460 education superintendent for the state of oklahoma um ryan good evening to you when you last came on

00:42:28.380 the show uh to talk about the maneuver um to have the ten commandments and biblical instruction in in

00:42:36.700 all mandatory in all state uh classes i have to say my own personal social media can has never blown up

00:42:43.980 as much as much as people supporting you um and lo and behold now a month later it's clear that

00:42:51.420 you've been making all the right enemies um because of course the regime won't take those successes

00:42:57.820 lying down and you are now look i say this just i'm not going to talk about me but i've just come out

00:43:02.380 of five years worth of of being um criminally charged here in italy three separate cases and i was

00:43:09.340 eventually vindicated on all of them so i know what it's like to be the subject of of of political

00:43:14.860 prosecutions tell me about what's going on with you down in oklahoma then well thank you again for

00:43:20.940 having me on and happy to give everyone an update but you know we made a stand here in oklahoma we're

00:43:25.340 going to put the bible back in the classroom you know our kids deserve to know our history they deserve 0.90

00:43:29.340 to know the influence the bible had the ten commandments had in not only america but in western

00:43:33.900 civilization and we're going to put the bible back in every classroom well very quickly after that 0.94

00:43:38.940 we see attacks from the national teachers union and then we begin to see even some republicans

00:43:43.020 our speaker of the house here in oklahoma named charles mccall begins to launch an impeachment attack

00:43:47.820 on me to try to claim all of these charges and all of these issues with me that are just nonsensical

00:43:53.500 so frankly then i i went out publicly and said hey if you want to impeach me go ahead and do it

00:43:57.900 let's put it all out on the table because there's nothing there what you are trying to do

00:44:01.740 is use lawfare use intimidation to try to back me off of the positions that oklahomans hold most 0.70

00:44:08.140 americans hold and again we've got a lot of folks frankly even in our own party that talk the talk but

00:44:13.740 don't walk the walk and here's what we're doing here in oklahoma we are walking the walk we will

00:44:17.980 bring the bible back to the classroom we will bring back an understanding of american exceptionalism we will

00:44:23.100 not bow to a woke mob or to the left or to their tactics of weaponizing the legal system

00:44:28.220 outstanding um tell me can you tell me a bit about these these um these um suggestions

00:44:36.140 that you're somehow involved in the misuse of i gather there's a grand jury now um misuse of covid

00:44:43.180 relief funds yeah look i mean our local media has put a lot of misinformation out there around that

00:44:49.180 there's an issue there that we dealt with years ago um that again i've been cleared of any kind of issue

00:44:54.780 or any kind of problem there with that but again you begin to see our local media try to pick back

00:44:59.100 up on these things to try to regenerate headlines and issues and here's the reality we have continued

00:45:05.500 to bring conservative values into government we've continued to defend parents we've continued to push

00:45:12.060 the radical teachers union out of the classroom and again every week i've got a new headline i'm

00:45:16.300 dealing with from our left-wing status media here in oklahoma and we're going to continue to fight

00:45:21.100 through we're going to continue to let oklahoma and see we run the most transparent uh administration

00:45:25.820 in state history we have been very clear about everything that's going on we have provided um the

00:45:31.260 type of change that people have demanded in government they want transparency accountability

00:45:35.500 and they want to see conservative values in action that's what we're bringing to the people of

00:45:39.900 oklahoma frankly we're leading the country and doing things like bringing the bible back to the

00:45:43.580 classroom school choice merit pay and a true understanding of an of our history and again i believe

00:45:49.500 if we're going to continue to be the greatest country in the history of the world we have to

00:45:53.580 teach our history our kids have to know what makes us exceptional how do we fight out of this and again

00:45:58.540 when you see kamala harris and you see tim waltz they're the opposite of that they want kids to

00:46:02.780 be ashamed of their country ashamed of our history they want them to hate this country we have to continue 0.89

00:46:07.820 to fight back against that because here's the reality you create a generation that hates this country

00:46:12.540 america will that will cease to be america we will not be that country that leads the free world

00:46:17.900 and so this is an existential threat that we're facing here and so we have to push back against

00:46:22.460 this agenda we've got to get president trump back in the white house and we've got to make

00:46:26.300 sure that his agenda is carried out in the states you know it's almost a case looking at the legal

00:46:32.860 challenges brought against president trump and against steve bannon and against rudy giuliani

00:46:38.380 and against peter navarro and against yourself here yeah it's almost a case that any any america first

00:46:45.100 politician presenting themselves to um to the election this is these are the battle scars this

00:46:51.660 is just this is a sign of the authenticity that you are actually fighting the regime and making some

00:46:57.580 headway if if a gop candidate were to present themselves i think this is we're now in this

00:47:02.300 situation but to present themselves and say oh i'm america first this you know i'm maga that and they have

00:47:07.420 no charges against them i think it's it's it's it's it's reasonable for the for the gop to well hang

00:47:13.900 on hang on why not why why show us your battle scars show us the convict you know sort of the charges and

00:47:19.420 the criminal cases that you that you've faced down then we'll believe that you really are on our side

00:47:25.580 and you're going to do something otherwise you know it's just another politician who's going to

00:47:29.740 as you say um talk the talk without walking look tell me briefly then um about oklahoma are the

00:47:36.060 bibles in the classrooms right now or is that yet to take place yeah no the mandates in place so

00:47:41.900 right now what we're doing is we're making sure the bibles are getting in the classrooms districts are

00:47:45.420 presenting them we are we've given out guidelines on how to teach from the bible its historical context

00:47:49.740 when it needs to be included in the classroom so again hey we're making sure when you talk about

00:47:53.740 the pilgrims you talk about american exceptionalism you talk about martin luther king jr abraham lincoln

00:47:58.460 you talk about these moments in american history you're going to refer to the bible you're going to

00:48:02.780 refer to their faith you're going to refer to the role that christianity played in america

00:48:06.700 and again frankly to do otherwise is academic malpractice you've got to have it in the

00:48:10.940 classroom so that's what we're doing right now is making sure that that is being implemented

00:48:14.380 so we are getting it in the classrooms right now we are seeing that um in real time here in oklahoma

00:48:19.260 and again to your point we are at a stage now where the left they they they lose elections so they try

00:48:24.700 to rig the elections right then they they don't get their policy agenda so they try everything they can

00:48:29.420 to undermine president trump and his administration then what do they result to lawfare they use the

00:48:35.100 law the legal system against you and to your point any maga uh politician they're going to do the same

00:48:39.980 thing to you they're going to try to stop you through the courts then lastly they have even gone

00:48:43.660 as far to go physical violence they want to kill president trump their goal is to kill the constitution 0.63

00:48:50.060 by killing president trump they know that he is the person who is going to protect your rights he is the 0.99

00:48:55.820 the person who is going to fight for you against the elites so they want him dead and it is sick 0.92

00:49:00.780 that we have reached this point in our society where the radical left will go to those means to

00:49:06.140 destroy your rights to destroy your country to destroy the exceptional america that we know it to be 0.54

00:49:14.140 by killing president trump so i want to be really clear they are trying to kill this country by assassinating 0.86

00:49:19.820 president trump my watch is that that is absolutely um outstanding analysis i i agree 100 um if i just

00:49:29.740 quickly put a bid in seeing as you are the education superintendent of the state of oklahoma um not only

00:49:36.300 history i think the bible is not only relevant in terms of history but also future history as well

00:49:40.460 right book of revelation the apocalypse um future history right this is many people i'm included i could

00:49:48.300 myself and i can see some of these things um taking place in our present age um where do people go if

00:49:55.260 they're um if they want to support you find out more keep up with your um with your uh with your

00:50:01.180 activities in oklahoma support your campaigns perhaps even i don't know if you if you need anything
