00:00:00.000 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
00:00:21.320 Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
00:00:25.260 I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
00:00:30.900 The people have had a belly full of it.
00:00:32.880 I know you don't like hearing that.
00:00:34.300 I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
00:00:36.920 It's going to happen.
00:00:38.200 And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
00:00:41.580 Mega Media.
00:00:42.940 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:00:48.340 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
00:00:51.500 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
00:00:58.420 War Room.
00:00:59.340 Here's your host, Stephen K.
00:01:01.420 Bannon.
00:01:06.860 Let's hear the question from this very low-rated anchor at CBS.
00:01:11.060 Do you plan to ask President McAle to help return the man who your administration says was mistakenly deported?
00:01:17.560 The man who was mistakenly deported to El Salvador?
00:01:19.900 Well, let me ask, Pam, would you ask to answer that question?
00:01:23.420 Sure, President.
00:01:24.560 First and foremost, he was illegally in our country.
00:01:28.180 He had been illegally in our country.
00:01:30.420 And in 2019, two courts, an immigration court and an appellate immigration court,
00:01:36.740 ruled that he was a member of MS-13 and he was illegally in our country.
00:01:42.180 Right now, it was a paperwork, it was additional paperwork that needed to be done.
00:01:48.060 That's up to El Salvador if they want to return him.
00:01:51.880 That's not up to us.
00:01:52.960 The Supreme Court ruled, President, that if, as El Salvador wants to return him,
00:01:57.780 this is international matters, foreign affairs,
00:02:00.700 if they wanted to return him, we would facilitate it, meaning provide a plane.
00:02:05.800 So will you return him?
00:02:08.300 And you are doing a great job.
00:02:10.180 Thank you.
00:02:10.820 Wait a minute.
00:02:12.620 Can you just also respond to that question?
00:02:15.000 Because, you know, it's asked by CNN and they always ask it with a slant
00:02:18.540 because they're totally slanting because they don't know what's happening.
00:02:22.140 That's why nobody's watching them.
00:02:23.380 But would you answer that question also, please?
00:02:25.780 Yes, gladly.
00:02:26.540 So, as Pam mentioned, there's an illegal alien from El Salvador.
00:02:32.000 So, with respect to you, he's a citizen of El Salvador.
00:02:36.440 So, it's very arrogant even for American media to suggest that we would even tell El Salvador
00:02:41.940 how to handle their own citizens as a starting point.
00:02:45.180 As two immigration courts found that he was a member of MS-13,
00:02:48.840 when President Trump declared MS-13 to be a foreign terrorist organization,
00:02:52.720 that meant that he was no longer eligible under federal law,
00:02:57.100 which I'm sure you know, you're very familiar with the INA,
00:02:59.360 that he was no longer eligible for any form of immigration relief in the United States.
00:03:03.660 So, he had a deportation order that was valid,
00:03:07.140 which meant that under our law, he's not even allowed to be present in the United States
00:03:11.080 and had to be returned because of the foreign terrorist designation.
00:03:15.800 This issue was then, by a district court judge, completely inverted,
00:03:20.660 and a district court judge tried to tell the administration
00:03:23.180 that they had to kidnap a citizen of El Salvador and fly him back here.
00:03:27.700 That issue was raised to the Supreme Court.
00:03:30.060 And the Supreme Court said the district court order was unlawful
00:03:33.560 and its main components were reversed 9-0 unanimously,
00:03:37.740 stating clearly that neither Secretary of State nor the President could be compelled by anybody
00:03:43.440 to forcibly retrieve a citizen of El Salvador from El Salvador,
00:03:47.320 who, again, is a member of MS-13, which, as I'm sure you understand,
00:03:52.520 rapes little girls, murders women, murders children,
00:03:55.760 is engaged in the most barbaric activities in the world,
00:03:57.940 and I can promise you, if he was your neighbor, you would move right away.
00:04:00.740 So, you don't plan to ask for anything to get him back?
00:04:02.840 But the Supreme Court is asking to...
00:04:03.720 And what was the ruling in the Supreme Court, Steve?
00:04:06.520 Was it 9-0?
00:04:07.700 Yes, it was a 9-0.
00:04:09.680 In our favor.
00:04:10.320 In our favor, against the district court ruling,
00:04:12.760 saying that no district court has the power
00:04:14.780 to compel the foreign policy function of the United States.
00:04:17.800 As Pam said, the ruling solely stated
00:04:20.400 that if this individual at El Salvador's sole discretion
00:04:23.980 was sent back to our country,
00:04:26.320 that we could deport him a second time.
00:04:28.060 No version of this legally ends up with him ever living here
00:04:31.040 because he is a citizen of El Salvador.
00:04:33.900 That is the president of El Salvador.
00:04:35.780 Your questions about it, per the court, can only be directed to him.
00:04:38.380 You are in the war room.
00:04:41.060 It's Monday, April 14th, in the year of our Lord, 2025.
00:04:45.480 It's Natalie Winters hosting.
00:04:46.920 Stephen K. Bannon is out on assignment,
00:04:48.840 but don't worry, he will be back tomorrow.
00:04:51.080 Until then, you are stuck with me, but don't go anywhere.
00:04:53.760 We've got a packed show for you.
00:04:55.460 I am obviously not in Washington, D.C.
00:04:57.760 I am out on my own assignment, but so much going on.
00:05:01.260 I thought I just had to host this evening.
00:05:03.860 I guess I'm already feeling, shall we say, FOMO
00:05:07.240 from that wonderful exchange in the Oval Office earlier today.
00:05:12.320 And look, we don't like to cast or throw stones here in the war room,
00:05:16.760 but I will say for some of my legacy media colleagues,
00:05:21.880 though it pains me to have to describe them as such,
00:05:25.860 just a humble tip.
00:05:27.700 If the questions that you're asking,
00:05:30.100 if I were to just read a blank transcript of them,
00:05:32.440 and they probably could have been read or written by a propagandist
00:05:37.120 on behalf of MS-13 or Trend de Aragua,
00:05:41.240 it probably means that you're not asking a very good question.
00:05:46.380 I think Caitlin Collins is probably only a few days away
00:05:50.140 from becoming an honorary member of MS-13,
00:05:53.680 and I would extend that honor,
00:05:55.660 because they probably think it is one,
00:05:57.340 out to probably virtually all of the press corps,
00:06:00.640 because it seems that the only time that the word immigrant,
00:06:04.840 immigration, refugee, or any Latin American country
00:06:08.560 can cross their mouths or enter their vernacular,
00:06:12.260 sort of like a Kamala Harris effect, right?
00:06:14.140 The only time she could say the word sovereignty
00:06:15.980 was when she was down at the border once on the campaign in Tucson,
00:06:20.100 then suddenly it seemed to diminish and abate
00:06:22.520 from her vocabulary in its entirety.
00:06:24.960 But the only time that these sick, twisted people want to talk
00:06:29.960 about immigration, legal, illegal, or otherwise,
00:06:33.920 is in the confines of trying to get a gotcha moment
00:06:36.760 against President Trump.
00:06:39.300 And I don't know, I'll just be blunt.
00:06:40.980 The American people do not care about deporting
00:06:45.400 or what the lived experience of some thug, violent gang member
00:06:50.980 is after they've been deported from this country.
00:06:55.220 I don't care about the paperwork,
00:06:57.300 and I really don't care if they were in the right seat
00:06:59.740 or the wrong seat, right?
00:07:02.360 I think we saw on the campaign trail,
00:07:05.720 and frankly, since President Trump descended down,
00:07:08.920 the escalator on that very fateful day,
00:07:11.520 the legacy media loves to play referee
00:07:15.120 and set the goalposts when it comes to
00:07:18.060 what our discussion has to be about anything related
00:07:21.320 to immigration, legal, illegal, or otherwise.
00:07:26.240 And the only time that my legacy media betters
00:07:29.880 will ask a question about immigration
00:07:31.700 is in an effort to smear and mock
00:07:34.440 President Trump's deportation agenda.
00:07:37.240 And just like what we saw, the outrage,
00:07:40.020 the rightful and justified outrage,
00:07:43.000 the righteous indignation about what was happening
00:07:44.940 in, say, for example, Springfield, Ohio,
00:07:48.700 the American people don't want to talk about
00:07:51.520 respecting the human rights and due process
00:07:54.720 of people who probably have more stuff in common
00:07:57.620 with animals than they do humanity.
00:08:00.340 We want to talk about how these deportation numbers,
00:08:03.400 how we can get them up,
00:08:04.860 how we can reform legal immigration,
00:08:07.320 how we can stop subverting this country's culture
00:08:09.940 from within by importing an enemy,
00:08:12.660 oftentimes peoples from countries
00:08:14.520 that were basically at,
00:08:16.200 maybe not kinetic war,
00:08:17.360 but certainly economic war with, right?
00:08:19.600 Whatever happened to it was
00:08:20.640 that the thousands of Chinese nationals
00:08:22.960 that entered this country under Joe Biden, right?
00:08:26.600 They love to only look at immigration
00:08:28.660 in the confines of a political gotcha moment
00:08:31.240 against President Trump
00:08:32.700 when the rest of this country
00:08:34.080 looks at immigration as an issue
00:08:35.720 that's not just about immigration,
00:08:37.620 but it's something economic, it's political,
00:08:39.780 it's societal, and most importantly,
00:08:42.360 it's cultural.
00:08:44.760 And anybody who thinks that
00:08:46.680 defending illegal aliens by saying,
00:08:49.460 well, it's actually not a crime,
00:08:51.340 it's a civil offense
00:08:52.340 to enter this country illegally,
00:08:54.420 yet good luck in the midterms.
00:08:57.120 Very good luck in the midterms to you.
00:08:59.800 And by the way,
00:09:00.640 it's the same people who are so quick
00:09:02.780 to make that distinction, right,
00:09:04.440 between civil and criminal offenses.
00:09:06.640 Well, did you see them ever apoplectic
00:09:08.680 or melting down about,
00:09:09.940 I don't know,
00:09:10.580 what was it,
00:09:11.060 the hundreds if not thousands
00:09:12.280 of terrorism enhancement charges
00:09:13.980 that January 6th participants
00:09:15.900 had added to their record?
00:09:18.360 They're more upset
00:09:19.340 about designating MS-13
00:09:21.660 and Trent de Aragua
00:09:22.740 as foreign terrorist organizations
00:09:24.980 and deporting foreign terrorists
00:09:26.820 than actual American citizens
00:09:28.840 being treated as such, right?
00:09:32.100 They care more, I think,
00:09:33.880 about the chain of custody
00:09:35.640 and making sure
00:09:36.820 that criminal illegal aliens
00:09:39.220 have all of their human rights,
00:09:41.520 whatever weird UN Geneva framework
00:09:43.860 they've come up with
00:09:44.920 for these disgusting people
00:09:46.360 being honored
00:09:47.300 on these deportation flights
00:09:48.760 than they care about investigating
00:09:50.880 or looking into the chain of custody
00:09:53.000 of mail-in ballots.
00:09:55.920 Right?
00:09:56.560 It's very, very selective outrage.
00:10:02.360 And it's quite interesting.
00:10:03.860 We, I think,
00:10:04.340 have advocated here on this show
00:10:06.080 since before the election
00:10:07.400 that we shouldn't just be talking
00:10:09.400 about mass deportations,
00:10:11.300 but we should be talking
00:10:12.160 about mass denaturalizations too.
00:10:15.620 And yes, Media Matters,
00:10:16.620 I hope you heard me on that one.
00:10:18.420 But in the same vein
00:10:19.700 that Joe Biden just gets to what,
00:10:22.080 and I'm not talking,
00:10:23.300 auto-pen sign preemptive blanket pardons,
00:10:25.900 but just grant millions,
00:10:28.460 probably at the end of the day,
00:10:29.420 over 10 million illegal aliens
00:10:30.900 with some form of citizenship
00:10:32.260 or a green card or a visa,
00:10:34.020 that doesn't mean anything.
00:10:35.900 Not just because he was
00:10:36.660 an illegitimate president,
00:10:38.360 but there are certainly legal ways
00:10:40.180 to look into denaturalizing these people.
00:10:43.160 And I think that the president
00:10:44.260 and that this White House
00:10:45.420 should be looking into that
00:10:46.560 full steam and full force ahead.
00:10:49.580 Because I would certainly love
00:10:51.080 to see my legacy media colleagues
00:10:54.320 meltdown about that one.
00:10:57.480 But I think we can give credit
00:10:59.140 where credit is due.
00:11:00.100 Obviously, we have hammered,
00:11:01.520 I think, on the show
00:11:02.160 that the deportation numbers,
00:11:03.460 though the crossings
00:11:04.100 of the border have plummeted.
00:11:05.680 We need to have, I guess,
00:11:06.720 a perpendicular track record
00:11:08.140 when it comes to these deportations
00:11:09.620 and see that number
00:11:10.440 exponentially grow,
00:11:12.380 maybe even more so
00:11:13.220 than the fake climate change
00:11:14.400 hockey stick graph.
00:11:16.200 But to the Trump administration's credit,
00:11:18.660 I mean, right, you know,
00:11:19.780 they'd been talking about it
00:11:20.820 since even before
00:11:21.420 President Trump won.
00:11:22.820 The fear porn, the propaganda,
00:11:24.540 the information warfare
00:11:25.560 that they were going to be waging
00:11:26.980 on all of us, right?
00:11:29.160 All the sob stories,
00:11:30.440 I'm sure you all remember.
00:11:31.520 And I'm not just talking
00:11:32.340 about the legalization
00:11:33.640 of domestic propaganda
00:11:35.640 or CNN intentionally airing,
00:11:37.760 you know, pictures of children
00:11:39.120 dying in wars.
00:11:40.200 Well, they'll never air pictures
00:11:41.460 of American children
00:11:42.300 being killed by illegal aliens.
00:11:43.860 But I guess if it serves
00:11:44.800 the military industrial complex,
00:11:46.600 then they'll make an exception.
00:11:48.120 But it really is quite wild
00:11:50.400 that for the tens of thousands
00:11:52.080 of people that the Trump administration
00:11:53.680 has successfully deported,
00:11:55.920 that the best gotcha moment
00:11:57.860 they can manufacture
00:11:59.120 really boils down to two people.
00:12:02.500 And that is the Maryland man,
00:12:04.980 used to be Maryland father.
00:12:06.340 Now, I guess he's just a Maryland man
00:12:08.460 who was what, an MS-13 member.
00:12:10.680 And then, of course,
00:12:11.340 the infamous notorious makeup artist.
00:12:15.340 And it really is quite impressive,
00:12:16.900 like I was saying,
00:12:17.800 of the, what, tens of thousands
00:12:18.880 of people that they've deported.
00:12:20.360 The best that they can do,
00:12:22.040 the best accusation
00:12:23.440 that they can hurl
00:12:24.120 against the Trump administration
00:12:25.160 is that, well,
00:12:26.040 maybe two of the people,
00:12:27.440 you fudged the paperwork.
00:12:29.680 Maybe they were just being like Democrats
00:12:31.400 on mail and ballots.
00:12:33.760 But it's quite telling
00:12:34.860 and it's a testament
00:12:35.600 to that successful operation.
00:12:38.640 Right?
00:12:39.380 Maryland man,
00:12:40.160 I guess that's just like,
00:12:41.140 what was it?
00:12:41.700 Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi,
00:12:43.700 the Asir religious scholar,
00:12:45.060 also known as the leader
00:12:46.140 of the Islamic State.
00:12:47.620 But the Washington Post,
00:12:48.860 I guess,
00:12:49.200 didn't want to describe him
00:12:50.500 as that.
00:12:52.900 But I guess you also get
00:12:54.060 special treatment
00:12:54.720 if you're a member
00:12:55.340 of a terrorist organization
00:12:56.540 because apparently
00:12:57.480 Senator Chris Van Hollen
00:12:59.700 has requested a meeting
00:13:00.740 with the wonderful
00:13:02.040 president of El Salvador,
00:13:03.640 Nayib Bukele,
00:13:04.520 to discuss the status
00:13:06.160 of that so-called
00:13:07.160 missing Maryland man,
00:13:09.020 demanding answers
00:13:10.540 like a petulant child
00:13:11.820 because apparently
00:13:12.840 the Democrats'
00:13:14.060 perverse version
00:13:14.900 of a social contract
00:13:15.960 is that they're going
00:13:16.700 to keep selling you
00:13:17.820 down the river
00:13:18.420 with, I don't know,
00:13:19.560 trade deals
00:13:20.140 and immigration policy.
00:13:21.540 But if you want to deport
00:13:22.520 a criminal foreign
00:13:24.060 terrorist organization member,
00:13:25.980 well then,
00:13:26.460 you get a special meeting,
00:13:27.780 not even with
00:13:28.620 a member of the House,
00:13:30.400 but with a full-blown senator
00:13:32.060 because that makes
00:13:33.520 a lot of sense.
00:13:34.700 But I would just say humbly
00:13:36.200 to all of these
00:13:37.620 wonderful Democrats
00:13:38.460 who really on full display
00:13:40.200 have shown their love
00:13:41.040 not for this country
00:13:41.940 but for, again,
00:13:42.700 foreign terrorist organizations
00:13:44.160 that we probably wouldn't
00:13:46.120 have had to flood the zone
00:13:48.000 with all these EOs
00:13:49.160 and deportations
00:13:50.380 and this whole mess
00:13:51.840 of an operation
00:13:52.580 would not have to be
00:13:53.420 so haphazard
00:13:54.620 and massive
00:13:55.260 and colossal
00:13:56.800 if you guys
00:13:57.980 had not flooded
00:13:58.820 this country
00:13:59.680 with tens of millions
00:14:01.200 of illegal aliens
00:14:02.460 and I'm not just talking
00:14:03.520 under Joe Biden
00:14:04.420 but years past
00:14:06.120 and years prior
00:14:06.900 and we know
00:14:07.320 what you guys
00:14:07.700 probably tried to do
00:14:08.880 under President Trump
00:14:10.540 too.
00:14:12.220 And then,
00:14:13.180 it's quite funny
00:14:14.320 because there's
00:14:15.240 a beautiful article
00:14:15.960 I believe
00:14:16.280 came out yesterday
00:14:17.020 in Politico,
00:14:17.820 Denver,
00:14:18.220 if you want to
00:14:18.820 toss that up,
00:14:20.960 populists are gaining power
00:14:22.660 and keeping it.
00:14:24.020 What comes next?
00:14:26.300 And it goes in details.
00:14:28.420 They almost get there.
00:14:29.520 They're close enough
00:14:30.340 but not quite.
00:14:32.340 They don't realize
00:14:33.440 that it's actually
00:14:34.180 this mass immigration
00:14:35.660 and that's too euphemistic
00:14:37.340 a term,
00:14:37.800 this mass invasion
00:14:38.640 of every western country
00:14:40.080 by third world
00:14:40.900 backwards cultures
00:14:41.900 that hate us
00:14:42.800 and don't have to go
00:14:44.000 over to Iran
00:14:44.680 to hear them
00:14:45.120 chanting death
00:14:45.720 to America.
00:14:46.740 You can hear it
00:14:47.420 a lot closer to home
00:14:48.620 but that is what
00:14:50.220 is undergirding
00:14:50.980 this global populist
00:14:52.080 movement
00:14:52.460 that believe me
00:14:53.500 Politico is absolutely
00:14:54.620 panicking
00:14:55.360 and in meltdown over
00:14:56.480 but the real reason
00:14:57.760 that the populist movement
00:14:59.000 right now
00:14:59.520 is having such a moment
00:15:00.560 and is so ascendant
00:15:01.920 is because,
00:15:03.880 well,
00:15:04.480 all of the levers
00:15:05.260 that they use
00:15:05.760 to try to throttle us
00:15:07.120 whether it was
00:15:07.840 the censorship
00:15:08.520 USAID
00:15:09.520 the State Department
00:15:11.000 all of these
00:15:11.660 weird pro-democracy
00:15:13.140 initiatives
00:15:13.800 I think anytime
00:15:15.520 you hear the word
00:15:16.020 pro-democracy
00:15:16.820 it should make
00:15:17.720 the hair on your neck
00:15:18.460 stick up
00:15:18.940 almost as much
00:15:19.580 as when you hear
00:15:20.260 comprehensive immigration
00:15:21.760 reform
00:15:22.240 or another Ukraine
00:15:23.500 aid package
00:15:24.440 but they no longer
00:15:25.840 have the levers
00:15:26.960 of institutional power
00:15:28.280 to push back
00:15:29.420 on what is
00:15:30.220 the ascendant
00:15:30.960 global populist
00:15:32.160 movement.
00:15:32.720 And might I just
00:15:34.860 just add
00:15:35.540 while we're at it
00:15:36.320 the left
00:15:37.300 of course
00:15:37.640 is also melting
00:15:38.440 down over
00:15:39.440 terrorists
00:15:40.120 being deported
00:15:41.000 from college
00:15:42.520 campuses
00:15:43.080 although fair point
00:15:44.500 I think there are
00:15:45.100 probably a lot
00:15:45.560 of homegrown
00:15:46.080 terrorists
00:15:46.660 and anti-American
00:15:47.680 activists
00:15:48.260 on those campuses
00:15:49.160 too
00:15:49.680 but I think
00:15:50.940 that they need
00:15:51.360 to be going
00:15:51.800 after the professors
00:15:52.760 as well
00:15:53.300 the foreign professors
00:15:54.320 and a lot
00:15:55.220 of the Chinese
00:15:55.760 Communist Party
00:15:56.520 funded
00:15:56.960 if not outright
00:15:57.740 linked and controlled
00:15:58.740 owned and operated
00:15:59.780 researchers
00:16:00.460 I think just
00:16:01.840 limiting the confines
00:16:03.060 of who you're
00:16:03.480 deporting
00:16:03.880 on these
00:16:04.160 college campuses
00:16:04.900 to people
00:16:05.460 who are
00:16:05.800 anti-Semitic
00:16:06.600 or anti-Israel
00:16:07.420 is not right
00:16:08.740 it should be
00:16:09.240 under the purview
00:16:10.240 of who is
00:16:11.180 anti-America
00:16:12.200 right
00:16:12.420 this is the
00:16:12.820 United States
00:16:13.400 of America
00:16:13.960 and I think
00:16:14.400 they need
00:16:14.680 to broaden
00:16:15.080 out the scope
00:16:15.880 I think
00:16:16.880 like I said
00:16:17.420 Chinese Communist
00:16:18.240 Party
00:16:18.560 funded researchers
00:16:19.540 and frankly
00:16:20.240 all the foreign
00:16:20.780 students
00:16:21.240 should have
00:16:21.660 been gone
00:16:22.220 yesterday
00:16:23.000 how's that
00:16:23.920 for a late
00:16:24.580 Sunday afternoon
00:16:25.600 EO
00:16:26.760 but this
00:16:28.200 administration
00:16:28.780 really is
00:16:29.600 firing on
00:16:30.900 all cylinders
00:16:31.780 and you can
00:16:32.420 see it in
00:16:32.840 the way
00:16:33.280 that Caitlin
00:16:34.600 Collins
00:16:35.140 the wonderful
00:16:35.620 Caitlin Collins
00:16:36.480 is melting
00:16:37.380 down
00:16:37.880 in the
00:16:38.700 briefing room
00:16:39.520 but I want
00:16:40.740 to broaden
00:16:41.080 this out
00:16:41.640 to I guess
00:16:42.340 an exclusive
00:16:43.100 story for you
00:16:43.880 guys here
00:16:44.240 on the war
00:16:44.780 room that I
00:16:45.320 broke
00:16:45.680 this morning
00:16:46.880 having to
00:16:47.740 do with
00:16:48.420 foreign
00:16:49.240 governments
00:16:50.160 if you can
00:16:50.820 believe it
00:16:51.460 actively
00:16:52.640 researching
00:16:53.500 and studying
00:16:54.640 how they
00:16:55.760 can best
00:16:56.580 thwart
00:16:57.220 within their
00:16:58.180 own countries
00:16:59.120 a populist
00:17:00.840 uprising
00:17:01.580 in terms
00:17:02.320 of supporting
00:17:03.000 restrictionists
00:17:04.040 that's what
00:17:04.440 they describe
00:17:05.080 it as
00:17:05.420 immigration
00:17:06.240 policies
00:17:06.820 in the
00:17:07.180 style
00:17:07.620 of President
00:17:08.680 Trump
00:17:09.280 Denver
00:17:09.600 if you want
00:17:09.900 to toss
00:17:10.240 the report
00:17:10.820 cover up
00:17:11.680 it's called
00:17:12.300 no bias
00:17:13.320 here
00:17:13.620 countering
00:17:14.260 misinformation
00:17:14.840 about
00:17:15.980 refugees
00:17:16.700 and migrants
00:17:18.420 fun fact
00:17:20.040 not only
00:17:20.460 was it
00:17:20.780 funded by
00:17:21.440 an Australian
00:17:22.100 government
00:17:22.700 subsidized
00:17:23.400 research
00:17:23.900 institution
00:17:25.400 but also
00:17:26.120 the
00:17:26.460 behavioral
00:17:27.920 insight
00:17:28.880 technology
00:17:30.200 it's a
00:17:30.960 global
00:17:31.320 consulting
00:17:31.900 firm
00:17:32.280 that has
00:17:32.620 a lot
00:17:32.820 of
00:17:32.940 contracts
00:17:33.560 with the
00:17:34.580 federal
00:17:34.820 government
00:17:35.320 I guess
00:17:35.780 where is
00:17:36.180 Doge
00:17:36.500 when you
00:17:37.060 need it
00:17:37.640 but they
00:17:38.280 put out
00:17:38.740 this 40
00:17:39.440 50 some
00:17:40.100 odd page
00:17:40.640 report
00:17:41.120 working
00:17:42.320 they've
00:17:42.980 become so
00:17:43.480 radical
00:17:43.880 it's no
00:17:44.440 longer
00:17:44.680 just about
00:17:45.240 debunking
00:17:45.940 misinformation
00:17:46.400 they're
00:17:47.080 actually
00:17:47.460 in the
00:17:48.380 business
00:17:48.880 of
00:17:49.280 pre-bunking
00:17:50.180 information
00:17:50.980 in other
00:17:51.480 words
00:17:51.880 they don't
00:17:52.680 even want
00:17:53.100 you to be
00:17:53.580 able to
00:17:54.100 conceptualize
00:17:55.220 dirty thoughts
00:17:56.480 about illegal
00:17:57.260 aliens and
00:17:58.020 mass migration
00:17:58.820 to begin
00:17:59.840 with
00:18:00.280 let that
00:18:01.660 sink in
00:18:02.220 global
00:18:04.120 researchers
00:18:04.740 in conjunction
00:18:05.500 with federal
00:18:06.100 contractors
00:18:06.880 conspiring
00:18:07.660 together
00:18:08.140 to make
00:18:08.960 it so
00:18:09.300 you can't
00:18:09.860 even have
00:18:10.540 unpure
00:18:11.500 thoughts
00:18:12.180 or negative
00:18:13.080 thoughts
00:18:13.580 about mass
00:18:14.220 migration
00:18:14.800 and to
00:18:16.900 that point
00:18:17.500 where they
00:18:17.920 say that
00:18:18.500 illegal aliens
00:18:19.580 are used
00:18:20.020 as political
00:18:20.640 scapegoats
00:18:21.520 for all
00:18:21.980 things
00:18:22.300 that are
00:18:22.540 going
00:18:22.720 wrong
00:18:23.020 in this
00:18:23.300 country
00:18:23.700 i don't
00:18:24.580 necessarily
00:18:24.940 think
00:18:25.320 that's
00:18:25.600 true
00:18:25.800 i think
00:18:26.120 here in
00:18:26.360 the war
00:18:26.640 room we
00:18:26.900 call out
00:18:27.240 the deep
00:18:27.540 state for
00:18:28.120 for what
00:18:28.520 it's worth
00:18:28.960 but whatever
00:18:29.460 they can
00:18:29.880 share credit
00:18:31.020 i guess
00:18:31.480 but one of
00:18:32.520 the top
00:18:32.920 examples that
00:18:33.600 they use in
00:18:34.120 terms of
00:18:34.520 pre-bunking
00:18:35.160 and i'll
00:18:35.380 read you the
00:18:35.800 direct quote
00:18:36.440 you can also
00:18:36.940 toss the picture
00:18:37.520 up on screen
00:18:38.220 is quote
00:18:39.060 in the u.s
00:18:39.680 trump has
00:18:40.100 introduced new
00:18:40.880 border control
00:18:41.500 measures and
00:18:42.180 announced plans
00:18:43.020 for mass
00:18:43.540 deportations
00:18:44.380 some european
00:18:45.560 leaders are
00:18:46.100 considering
00:18:46.600 following suit
00:18:47.840 in this
00:18:48.620 context
00:18:49.120 misinformation
00:18:49.700 may circulate
00:18:51.440 in the near
00:18:52.040 future
00:18:52.600 warns the
00:18:53.540 paper
00:18:53.880 they then
00:18:54.880 go on
00:18:55.380 to explain
00:18:56.040 and you can
00:18:56.440 put the
00:18:56.680 other picture
00:18:57.140 up where
00:18:57.540 they show
00:18:57.920 you this
00:18:58.220 nice little
00:18:58.920 hr un
00:19:00.020 style flow
00:19:00.920 chart
00:19:01.220 where they
00:19:01.940 help you
00:19:02.400 pre-bunk
00:19:02.980 these what
00:19:03.620 they describe
00:19:04.640 as myths
00:19:05.280 about the
00:19:06.120 scale of
00:19:06.780 illegal immigration
00:19:07.540 the scope
00:19:08.180 of illegal
00:19:08.620 immigration
00:19:09.080 crimes
00:19:09.800 committed by
00:19:10.460 illegal aliens
00:19:11.220 and of course
00:19:12.020 the impending
00:19:12.740 if not already
00:19:13.540 occurring
00:19:14.100 housing crisis
00:19:15.240 at the hands
00:19:16.600 of illegal
00:19:17.420 aliens
00:19:17.920 and frankly
00:19:19.680 i think the
00:19:20.160 real buried
00:19:20.740 lead here
00:19:21.440 is that
00:19:22.960 rather than
00:19:23.840 curtail
00:19:24.500 the number
00:19:26.180 of immigration
00:19:28.700 legal or
00:19:29.520 illegal
00:19:30.000 they would
00:19:31.620 rather
00:19:32.160 engineer
00:19:33.980 and terraform
00:19:35.120 your
00:19:36.040 psychological
00:19:36.960 response to
00:19:37.880 it
00:19:38.080 right that's
00:19:39.240 quite telling
00:19:39.840 rather than
00:19:43.180 work with
00:19:44.200 the population
00:19:44.920 at home
00:19:45.480 who has
00:19:45.760 obviously
00:19:46.160 expressed
00:19:46.620 anti-immigration
00:19:47.420 sentiment
00:19:48.000 they would
00:19:49.200 rather try
00:19:49.880 to psychologically
00:19:50.740 manipulate you
00:19:51.700 that's what
00:19:52.060 they're studying
00:19:52.620 into being
00:19:53.680 pro-open borders
00:19:54.940 that's the elite
00:19:57.860 ruling class
00:19:58.700 that's your
00:19:59.680 betters that
00:20:00.280 we're up
00:20:00.620 against
00:20:01.100 i guess
00:20:02.540 speaking of
00:20:04.120 narrative
00:20:04.480 control
00:20:05.280 they wheeled
00:20:06.540 out i guess
00:20:07.100 another wonderful
00:20:07.800 open borders
00:20:08.520 globalist
00:20:09.160 although i guess
00:20:09.800 the only border
00:20:10.280 he cares about
00:20:10.920 is his own
00:20:11.760 that is of course
00:20:12.980 none other than
00:20:13.580 volodymyr
00:20:14.220 zelensky who got
00:20:15.580 the wonderful
00:20:16.180 60 minutes
00:20:17.300 treatment last
00:20:18.380 night on just a
00:20:19.140 whole bash
00:20:19.840 trump episode
00:20:20.840 i have a few
00:20:21.860 cuts that i want
00:20:22.840 to play i'll put
00:20:23.600 a trigger warning
00:20:24.460 for those of us
00:20:25.140 i guess it's a
00:20:25.700 little close to
00:20:26.280 tax day so i
00:20:27.240 apologize but in
00:20:28.540 case you were
00:20:28.980 wondering what
00:20:29.520 your hard-earned
00:20:30.160 tax dollars are
00:20:30.960 going to support
00:20:31.800 i'll give you a
00:20:32.660 little super cut
00:20:33.420 denver let's roll
00:20:34.220 a dictator
00:20:37.740 and said that
00:20:39.500 ukraine started
00:20:40.500 this war
00:20:41.240 what did you
00:20:43.420 think
00:20:43.880 i believe sadly
00:20:50.640 russian narratives
00:20:52.340 are prevailing
00:20:53.300 in the u.s
00:20:54.380 how is it
00:20:57.860 possible
00:20:58.300 to witness
00:20:59.300 our losses
00:20:59.980 and our
00:21:00.520 suffering
00:21:00.920 to understand
00:21:02.240 what the
00:21:02.760 russians are
00:21:03.320 doing and to
00:21:04.480 still believe
00:21:05.380 that they
00:21:05.940 are not
00:21:06.420 the aggressors
00:21:07.300 that they
00:21:08.040 did not
00:21:08.600 start this
00:21:09.420 war
00:21:09.840 this speaks
00:21:11.240 to the
00:21:11.620 enormous
00:21:12.120 influence of
00:21:13.260 russia's
00:21:13.820 information policy
00:21:15.120 on america
00:21:15.900 on u.s
00:21:16.920 politics
00:21:17.520 and
00:21:18.060 u.s
00:21:18.940 politicians
00:21:19.640 you're not in a
00:21:21.140 good position
00:21:21.820 you don't have
00:21:22.840 the cards
00:21:23.360 right now
00:21:24.020 and zelensky
00:21:25.020 told us
00:21:25.780 he heard
00:21:26.460 russia's
00:21:27.100 narrative
00:21:27.520 from trump
00:21:28.680 officials
00:21:29.160 in that
00:21:30.340 disastrous
00:21:31.200 oval office
00:21:32.280 meeting in
00:21:32.920 february
00:21:33.540 you're gambling
00:21:34.500 with world war
00:21:35.520 three
00:21:35.940 would you invite
00:21:37.100 president trump
00:21:37.980 to ukraine
00:21:38.800 with pleasure
00:21:40.560 please
00:21:41.680 this
00:21:42.940 zelensky apparently
00:21:44.600 wanted president trump
00:21:46.020 to hear
00:21:46.640 in english
00:21:48.040 we want you to come
00:21:49.840 and i think
00:21:51.760 to come and to see
00:21:52.820 you think you understand
00:21:54.940 what's going on here
00:21:55.740 okay
00:21:56.040 we respect your position
00:21:57.920 you understand
00:21:58.880 but please
00:21:59.900 before any kind
00:22:02.120 of decisions
00:22:02.920 any kind
00:22:04.580 of formats
00:22:05.320 of negotiations
00:22:06.860 come
00:22:08.200 to see people
00:22:10.460 civilians
00:22:12.080 warriors
00:22:13.780 hospitals
00:22:15.420 churches
00:22:16.740 children
00:22:18.320 destroyed
00:22:19.780 or dead
00:22:21.000 come
00:22:21.780 look
00:22:23.260 and then
00:22:24.740 let's
00:22:25.240 let's
00:22:26.040 move
00:22:26.480 with the
00:22:26.960 plan
00:22:27.180 how to
00:22:27.660 finish
00:22:27.940 the war
00:22:28.320 you will
00:22:29.280 understand
00:22:29.820 with whom
00:22:30.740 you have
00:22:31.760 a deal
00:22:32.160 you will
00:22:33.420 understand
00:22:33.920 what putin
00:22:34.860 did
00:22:35.400 and we will
00:22:36.180 not prepare
00:22:36.820 anything
00:22:37.420 it will not
00:22:39.360 be theater
00:22:40.020 with preparing
00:22:41.980 actors
00:22:42.680 in the streets
00:22:43.680 and etc
00:22:44.120 we don't
00:22:45.100 do this
00:22:45.740 we don't
00:22:46.280 need it
00:22:46.840 you can
00:22:48.080 go
00:22:48.440 exactly
00:22:49.100 where you
00:22:49.540 want
00:22:50.000 in any
00:22:51.080 city
00:22:51.480 which been
00:22:52.000 under
00:22:52.500 attacks
00:22:53.080 what i
00:22:54.280 said to
00:22:54.780 them
00:22:54.980 just
00:22:55.360 to
00:22:55.660 come
00:22:56.040 and
00:22:57.200 to
00:22:57.400 understand
00:22:58.060 with his
00:22:59.160 invitation
00:22:59.740 on its
00:23:00.360 way
00:23:00.760 he switched
00:23:01.820 to ukrainian
00:23:02.680 does the united
00:23:04.100 states have
00:23:04.780 your back
00:23:05.260 the u.s.
00:23:06.220 has donated
00:23:06.980 about
00:23:07.460 175 billion
00:23:09.440 dollars
00:23:09.900 in aid
00:23:10.440 roughly
00:23:11.320 100 billion
00:23:12.600 of that
00:23:13.060 was military
00:23:13.960 most of
00:23:15.180 which was
00:23:15.760 spent
00:23:16.140 in the u.s.
00:23:17.260 on manufacturing
00:23:18.800 american
00:23:19.440 weapons
00:23:20.060 what would
00:23:21.120 you say
00:23:21.900 that the american
00:23:23.500 people have
00:23:24.260 gotten
00:23:24.640 for that
00:23:25.200 money
00:23:25.560 we have
00:23:27.700 always believed
00:23:28.800 that this is
00:23:29.560 our shared
00:23:30.360 struggle
00:23:31.020 that ukraine is
00:23:32.520 defending our
00:23:33.440 shared values
00:23:34.660 that we are
00:23:35.820 defending europe
00:23:37.060 as a whole
00:23:38.060 i can only
00:23:40.760 thank the people
00:23:41.640 of the united
00:23:42.200 states of america
00:23:43.260 for their support
00:23:44.200 their strong
00:23:45.160 support
00:23:45.880 but the people
00:23:47.300 dying right now
00:23:48.640 with all due
00:23:50.000 respect to the u.s.
00:23:51.220 and europe
00:23:51.760 the ones
00:23:52.780 dying right now
00:23:54.140 are ukrainians
00:23:55.400 this is why
00:23:56.780 this is why i say
00:23:57.380 that by giving
00:23:58.260 us weapons
00:23:58.940 other countries
00:24:00.440 are protecting
00:24:01.400 their own
00:24:02.280 people
00:24:02.720 you can save
00:24:04.720 your thanks
00:24:05.520 i think
00:24:06.120 what the american
00:24:07.500 people really
00:24:08.300 want is
00:24:09.100 well frankly
00:24:09.580 no more money
00:24:10.200 to go to you
00:24:10.960 and your corrupt
00:24:11.540 oligarchic friends
00:24:12.760 but we want
00:24:13.340 an audit
00:24:14.060 and a retroactive
00:24:15.920 audit
00:24:16.340 at that
00:24:17.620 and also
00:24:18.000 shame on you
00:24:18.680 for saying
00:24:19.160 it's only ukrainians
00:24:20.500 who are dying
00:24:21.120 or i believe
00:24:21.820 you referred to
00:24:22.500 the united states
00:24:23.140 as a partner
00:24:23.660 of yours
00:24:24.340 don't really
00:24:25.460 think that that's
00:24:26.080 a co-equal
00:24:27.120 relationship
00:24:27.820 in any sense
00:24:29.180 of the word
00:24:29.880 a lot of americans
00:24:31.300 are dying too
00:24:32.200 and i would have
00:24:32.720 rather allocated
00:24:33.560 those 175 billion
00:24:35.460 dollars to what
00:24:36.380 was it probably
00:24:37.040 stopping the fentanyl
00:24:38.100 crisis
00:24:38.580 stopping i don't know
00:24:40.260 the poorest southern
00:24:41.220 border the invasion
00:24:42.140 that was going there
00:24:43.120 or any of the myriad
00:24:43.980 of health emergencies
00:24:45.200 that this country's
00:24:46.080 undergone while we've
00:24:47.000 been shipping away
00:24:47.880 god knows what
00:24:48.680 to your country
00:24:49.600 that's probably
00:24:50.140 only funneling
00:24:50.880 at least half
00:24:51.500 probably more
00:24:52.240 of those weapons
00:24:53.560 to the black
00:24:54.140 market
00:24:54.560 i mean at this
00:24:56.400 point i think
00:24:57.420 the only uh
00:24:58.280 strategic advantage
00:24:59.200 that the ukraine
00:25:00.800 could potentially
00:25:01.420 have for the united
00:25:02.160 states would be
00:25:03.720 turning it into
00:25:04.440 another version
00:25:05.160 of el salvador
00:25:06.060 where we could
00:25:06.760 deport illegals
00:25:08.720 to and i stand
00:25:10.540 by that wholeheartedly
00:25:11.640 media matters
00:25:12.740 uh you know
00:25:13.700 it's it's quite
00:25:14.420 funny right the
00:25:15.060 irony it's
00:25:15.860 not okay
00:25:16.960 for russia
00:25:19.200 right to cross
00:25:20.000 the border of ukraine
00:25:20.980 but i guess when
00:25:21.760 it's the united
00:25:22.320 states if you're
00:25:23.200 just a maryland
00:25:23.940 man which is
00:25:24.680 apparently a
00:25:25.260 euphemism for
00:25:26.200 what domestic
00:25:27.220 terrorists or
00:25:28.160 foreign terrorists
00:25:28.880 in that case
00:25:29.660 then you have
00:25:30.640 free reign to
00:25:31.420 invade the united
00:25:32.080 states all that
00:25:33.160 you want and if
00:25:33.920 you're not on the
00:25:34.500 right seat when
00:25:35.320 you're being
00:25:35.660 deported then
00:25:36.980 you'll have the
00:25:37.520 entire praetorian
00:25:38.600 guard of the
00:25:39.260 legacy media running
00:25:40.780 cover for you
00:25:41.720 and i guess while
00:25:44.000 we're at it the
00:25:44.600 legacy media that's
00:25:45.640 also right apoplectic
00:25:46.680 over the tariffs
00:25:47.660 it's quite funny
00:25:49.120 ukraine aid is
00:25:50.280 really great for
00:25:51.080 america's industrial
00:25:52.320 base right it's
00:25:53.260 really good at
00:25:53.880 building that up and
00:25:54.840 creating jobs
00:25:55.820 well you know what
00:25:57.260 else is really great
00:25:58.080 for america's
00:25:58.860 industrial base is
00:25:59.920 apparently you guys
00:26:00.640 care about that so
00:26:01.500 much a little thing
00:26:02.820 that starts with a t
00:26:03.820 called tariffs but i
00:26:05.840 don't think that
00:26:06.400 they're getting the
00:26:07.220 same kind treatment
00:26:08.560 that volodymyr
00:26:10.000 zelensky or any of
00:26:11.200 the other ukrainian
00:26:12.440 oligarchs corrupt
00:26:13.880 oligarchs at that and
00:26:15.020 being nice in my
00:26:15.960 characterization have
00:26:17.760 received in terms of
00:26:19.100 media coverage and
00:26:21.580 by the way tariffs
00:26:22.620 are less severe of an
00:26:24.020 economic impact on
00:26:25.700 the united states than
00:26:26.860 any of these united
00:26:27.860 than any of these
00:26:28.860 ukraine aid packages
00:26:30.360 and i'm not just
00:26:31.320 talking from a fiscal
00:26:32.340 perspective but from
00:26:33.720 how the fact of how
00:26:34.840 close we've been drawn
00:26:35.740 into world war three
00:26:37.120 angering the chinese
00:26:38.400 communist party and
00:26:39.700 angering russia at
00:26:40.680 that but i guess uh
00:26:43.200 democracy dies in
00:26:44.560 darkness right so
00:26:45.420 therefore we should
00:26:46.080 just continue to
00:26:46.920 ceaselessly uh sell
00:26:48.460 our tax dollars down
00:26:49.620 the river and i guess
00:26:50.480 democracy also dies
00:26:51.720 when you start
00:26:52.340 deporting foreign
00:26:53.740 terrorists convicted
00:26:55.280 foreign terrorists at
00:26:56.560 that that's the
00:26:58.380 america that we live
00:26:59.480 in we're gonna get
00:27:00.220 into all things
00:27:01.500 speaking of maybe
00:27:02.800 not foreign maybe
00:27:03.820 not full-blown
00:27:04.540 terrorists but uh
00:27:05.780 aiding and abetting
00:27:06.720 domestic terrorists
00:27:07.520 foreign ones too
00:27:08.280 mark zuckerberg after
00:27:09.840 this short break
00:27:10.580 i've got to go run
00:27:14.500 and grab you don't

00:31:54.380 just add that to the other
00:31:55.600 wonderful layer of hypocrisy on
00:31:57.860 all these people melting down

00:33:07.340 and victories we've had under the
00:33:09.540 trump administration that are
00:33:10.660 probably making caitlin collins and
00:33:12.600 her her ilk totally apoplectic which
00:33:15.540 i don't know about you contrary to
00:33:16.940 what msnbc says that's exactly what i
00:33:20.240 voted for now that we have that out
00:33:23.340 of the way i'm honored to come to our
00:33:24.500 first guest that is none other than
00:33:26.320 alan bakari who is still working at
00:33:30.340 mike benza's foundation for freedom
00:33:31.740 online think tank among many other
00:33:33.880 things but alan i wanted to have you on
00:33:35.380 your background is obviously in
00:33:36.840 covering
00:33:37.260 big tech there's the big meta
00:33:39.640 zuckerberg trial going on today i
00:33:42.040 want to get into what happened
00:33:43.060 today in court but before we do that
00:33:45.840 there's been a massive massive effort
00:33:49.700 i would call it lobbying but it's it's
00:33:51.780 more than that it's targeting
00:33:52.940 influencers but particularly on the
00:33:55.460 right and i think that our audience
00:33:57.280 needs to be very steely eyed and wary
00:34:00.060 of influencers talking heads that are
00:34:02.480 not talking about this trial or talking
00:34:05.200 about an extremely soft because i would
00:34:07.360 argue odds are that they are somehow
00:34:08.880 wrapped up in the very robust meta
00:34:11.820 zuckerberg influence operation that we
00:34:14.440 know they've put out their uh tentacles
00:34:16.840 claws talons whatever you want to call
00:34:18.580 it into the the magosphere but can you
00:34:20.640 just sort of walk us through the scope
00:34:22.540 of these efforts to sort of control the
00:34:25.040 narrative control opposition
00:34:26.480 well yeah zuckerberg and meta have been
00:34:30.060 on a lobbying blitz in dc and i'm sure
00:34:32.480 that extends to funding pr efforts
00:34:34.700 targeted at the right no doubt that's how
00:34:36.920 every big company does it uh that's in
00:34:39.580 conjunction with his public pivot towards
00:34:41.980 the right he's made some overtures to the
00:34:44.520 maga movement since trump won the
00:34:46.140 election in uh in november he went on
00:34:49.000 joe rogan criticizing the the biden
00:34:51.140 administration he shut down met his
00:34:53.480 fact-checking program uh he talked about
00:34:55.920 the need for more masculine energy at
00:34:58.020 incorporate culture and uh and he's talked
00:35:01.160 about the importance of free speech and you
00:35:03.660 know now he's trying to you know cash in
00:35:05.960 that that little bit of goodwill he's built
00:35:08.040 out with a with a lobbying campaign and in
00:35:10.700 dc uh including by they're buying a a
00:35:13.500 massive mansion 10 minutes from the white
00:35:15.220 house and having regular meetings in the
00:35:17.420 oval office according to reports and it was
00:35:19.520 all aimed at stopping this ftc antitrust
00:35:23.100 case against meta from going to trial
00:35:26.100 because this is it could be the most
00:35:28.100 consequential antitrust case in the u.s
00:35:30.360 versus microsoft it could lead to meta
00:35:32.620 having to unwind its purchases of
00:35:35.380 instagram and whatsapp that would be a huge
00:35:37.420 blow to the company so it's no surprise
00:35:40.000 that zuckerberg and meta were trying to
00:35:41.860 get the trump administration to settle that
00:35:44.600 lawsuit rather than go to trial uh but i
00:35:47.980 think he he's he meta and zuckerberg they
00:35:51.060 kind of ran into some difficulties in their
00:35:52.740 lobbying campaign i think you pointed it out
00:35:54.720 on twitter despite his public pivot towards
00:35:58.720 the right many leading maga figures remain
00:36:01.140 banned on the platform and i know you were
00:36:03.120 tweeting about that uh last week yeah i had
00:36:06.860 reached out to their spokesperson for a
00:36:08.960 comment and i presented them with a list of
00:36:10.800 individuals laura loomer alex jones people
00:36:13.720 who i'm sure people in this audience love
00:36:15.420 and watch asking if they were still banned
00:36:18.100 and if so why and instead of saying you know
00:36:20.140 what you're right we're going to overturn the
00:36:21.420 ban or actually you're wrong these people
00:36:23.160 aren't banned they can start an account they
00:36:24.820 said we'll review it like at some point down
00:36:27.360 the line maybe if it's of interest to us so
00:36:29.960 you know the fact checking and the masculinity
00:36:32.400 stuff is obviously i think what we would call a
00:36:34.760 shiny toy a distraction sort of the culture war
00:36:38.420 stuff that they think were were a cheap date we
00:36:40.840 have low standards and an easy buy-in but i do
00:36:43.520 think it's a good sign that they didn't settle so
00:36:45.600 can you sort of walk the audience through the
00:36:47.280 timeline of the trial and today i believe the
00:36:50.160 first day is already underway probably concluded
00:36:52.540 uh but what they need to be on the lookout for
00:36:55.140 yeah and just just briefly on that point i mean
00:36:58.620 it's a real fumble on meta's part that uh
00:37:01.440 you know they hadn't done ban these accounts
00:37:03.480 almost six months after trump won the election
00:37:05.500 i mean there are so many big names that are
00:37:07.440 still banned tommy robinson milo
00:37:09.500 unopoulos um paul joseph watson i think is
00:37:12.880 still banned scott greer the conservative
00:37:14.900 columnist uh you know many many others as
00:37:18.040 well and you know i i kind of get the sense
00:37:20.300 there's a tension between facebook's leadership
00:37:22.100 which uh which wants to roll back all of this
00:37:24.540 stuff and its content moderation team
00:37:26.280 which wants to stick to the old ways you know
00:37:28.800 it's important to remember one of the first
00:37:30.760 things elon musk did when he bought x uh
00:37:33.920 formerly twitter was you know massive massive
00:37:36.660 cuts to the content moderation team meta
00:37:38.660 hasn't done that so i imagine they're getting a
00:37:40.800 lot of pushback from content moderators who
00:37:43.980 still want to keep all these people banned and i
00:37:45.860 think that's really hampering their efforts to
00:37:48.360 win goodwill on the right uh but to get to your
00:37:51.340 question this case has been going on for five
00:37:53.600 years it started in the first trump administration
00:37:56.080 under their efficacy it continued under the biden
00:37:58.600 administration and uh it basically alleges that
00:38:02.340 facebook uh obtained an illegal monopoly
00:38:05.120 under u.s antitrust laws with its acquisition of whatsapp
00:38:08.960 and instagram and the case is going to rest on whether
00:38:12.520 its ownership of those two platforms which i would argue are
00:38:15.160 the healthiest platforms for meta they're much more successful
00:38:18.860 and have more growth than facebook itself uh whether it's
00:38:22.280 acquisition of those constitutes anti-competitive
00:38:25.520 behavior and if the court decides that it does constitute
00:38:29.080 anti-competitive behavior that could you know be a huge
00:38:32.460 a hugely consequential moment for the entire tech industry
00:38:36.200 because meta would be forced to unwind those purchases
00:38:38.800 and just walk us through you know if it were up to me
00:38:44.160 and all these i'm a luddite i don't like any of these social
00:38:46.560 media platforms i'm like steve on that
00:38:48.860 but obviously they're here to stay and i guess they're uh trying to do
00:38:52.280 the the maga conversion though i always say i've seen
00:38:55.320 transgender operations more convincing than what they're trying to do
00:38:58.640 um but what do you think a a realistic outcome like a pro maga
00:39:03.500 an outcome of this trial that our audience
00:39:05.640 could support uh what do you think that would look like
00:39:08.920 if there is one
00:39:09.780 well i mean you know my non-profit obviously focuses on online free speech
00:39:15.460 and what i'd like to see meta do is unban all of those accounts that we talked about
00:39:19.760 they're very important political voices
00:39:21.600 and um you know maybe even go go to go take steps towards unbanning some of the
00:39:27.180 smaller accounts that have been banned over the years
00:39:29.220 you know over spurious allegations of hate speech and misinformation
00:39:32.800 probably hundreds of thousands if not millions fell into that
00:39:36.000 uh you even go to uh places like brazil and there were hundreds of thousands of whatsapp users being banned
00:39:41.460 at the behest of the uh of that country's uh very politicized pro-censorship judiciary
00:39:47.100 so hopefully what meta learns from this episode and the backlash they've been receiving over the past two weeks
00:39:53.840 is you can't you can't take like a halfway step towards ending censorship
00:39:57.420 you have to be serious about it and you have to be at least on x's level which has set the standard in unbanning
00:40:03.020 some of these major political voices that were censored over the last uh decade or so
00:40:08.060 um the other the other thing that i think meta could do and other tech companies really is look for areas of alignment
00:40:14.080 with the uh with the present political moment which i would argue is on the anti-censorship side of things
00:40:19.740 i think the result of the presidential election was a vote against online censorship
00:40:24.000 there's you know there's tension between the uh the so-called tech right and the maga right and questions like immigration
00:40:31.780 but i think there's also alignment on matters like fighting censorship abroad for example in places like brazil
00:40:37.780 and especially in europe with their digital services act which levies enormous fines on american companies
00:40:44.360 uh you know for again spurious spurious so-called violations like misinformation and hate speech
00:40:51.440 and you know if if you know if the tech right if tech companies who have a lot of resources
00:40:56.520 would actually commit some of those resources to fighting those online censorship laws abroad
00:41:01.600 and did it publicly and vocally you know at least you know if they spent a fraction
00:41:06.340 of the amount that the chan zuckerberg initiative spent on progressive causes over the last few years
00:41:12.680 and you know and you know you know ballot boxes in 2020 which were pivotal to biden's victory if
00:41:18.240 they spent a fraction on that on fighting censorship in places like brazil and europe i think that would
00:41:23.260 win them a lot of goodwill and it would show that they're serious about fighting censorship
00:41:26.880 alam you guys do such wonderful work at the foundation for freedom online and everything that
00:41:33.160 you've done your your whole canon of work i think has really been pivotal on this issue which is i
00:41:38.000 think much bigger than than just big tech or platforms or social media it is about free speech
00:41:42.100 itself where can people go to follow you and stay up to date with everything you're working on in
00:41:46.740 the meantime oh well thank you natalie and it's uh you can find our reports on the uh at the
00:41:53.180 foundation for freedom online.com where you detail deep dives on the censorship industrial complex and
00:41:59.200 especially has been funded by u.s government agencies over the past half decade um you can find us
00:42:05.540 there you can find me on x at alan bacari uh you can find our founder at mike bends and uh yeah we'll be
00:42:12.340 putting out many reports going forward uh as we as we try to unravel this machine of censorship that
00:42:17.700 was built up over the last few years try to uh put the contents of pandora's back box back inside it's
00:42:25.060 never been done but uh we will try alan thank you so much for joining us thank you natalie
00:42:30.540 and war and posse i will be very clear i think you guys know where where we stand on all of this but
00:42:38.480 just to reiterate for the uh haters losers and legacy media that's watching mark zuckerberg belongs
00:42:45.340 in prison maybe we should send him to el salvador i know president trump was talking about sending
00:42:50.640 americans to prisons in el salvador i think that would be a great idea and look i'm not even saying
00:42:56.940 because he stole the 2020 election or helped rig it because he did and i can go over chapter and verse
00:43:02.140 the center for tech and civic life grants that went what was it 98 percent and upwards of that
00:43:07.100 to democratic districts yet try to explain keeping your tax-exempt status for all that work or your
00:43:13.260 collusion with the chinese communist party like the whistleblowers that you're actively trying to
00:43:18.700 suppress so spare me your uh free speech performative activism on that front mr zuckerberg but i would just
00:43:26.380 look at what happened on the southern border right all the wonderful activities this time not
00:43:31.580 necessarily emanating out of the chan zuckerberg initiative but out of forward us one of the
00:43:37.660 foremost lobbying organizations to essentially replace you your children and your grandchildren with
00:43:43.660 immigrant labor well believe it or not they as we exclusively reported i think a few months ago
00:43:50.220 have financed to the tunes of millions of dollars essentially every left-wing ngo those that aren't
00:43:57.500 funded by act blue that are involved on the southern border from cradle to grave from start to finish the
00:44:03.340 entirety of the illegal immigration process and i'm leaving out the whole h1b discussion though i will
00:44:09.020 certainly have that anytime anywhere anyplace but in the case of the chan zuckerberg initiative if you
00:44:15.420 remember the long what was it 40 tweet thread that i put out showing all these various ngos that
00:44:21.420 zuckerberg himself the organization that he founded so spare me the stupid defense that they i think
00:44:27.900 attacked the show for saying that oh well he doesn't control all the money he doesn't know where his money
00:44:32.700 goes bro you founded the organization so you're all about masculinity then be a man and take some ownership
00:44:40.460 and a real man wouldn't just send some half-ass two-page letter to the house judiciary committee
00:44:45.660 saying oops i think i maybe stole the election but like i don't totally think i did sorry would go a long
00:44:53.740 way not long enough to keep you out of prison per se but maybe that would be a good start but some
00:45:01.420 of these ngos one of them was the border angels initiative the kino border initiative while those
00:45:07.580 groups were involved with supplying water and food and resources to illegal aliens on their trek to the
00:45:13.420 united states and then all of the catholic charities and their lutheran counterparts were funded you
00:45:19.660 guessed it extensively by foreign us and groups like that to help facilitate every single instance every
00:45:30.300 single section of the mass invasion of illegal immigration into this country groups that are
00:45:37.340 actively opposing president trump's immigration agenda groups that are operating ice hotlines doxing
00:45:45.500 ice agents trying to stop ice raids swearing that till their dying breath they'll oppose president
00:45:52.540 trump's deportation raids those are groups that are funded directly directly by a group that mark zuckerberg founded
00:46:05.420 and now this man has the nerve using all the money that he got from trying to destroy this country
00:46:14.140 social media the negative impacts on children aside to buy what was a 25 million dollar house in dc so he
00:46:20.220 could go grovel and try to kiss the ring of president trump so his stupid companies can somehow avoid being
00:46:27.580 broken up you know it's the people like mark zuckerberg and jeff bezos they're weird space
00:46:36.300 expeditions that are probably all just a tax write-off to begin with it's those people who i guess for so
00:46:43.500 long they've been used to being prioritized by who's ever been elected whoever's been the president
00:46:47.900 or i guess selected in the case of joe biden maybe that's why they had to rig it because they know
00:46:52.300 for once president trump actually puts you first
00:46:57.900 right the day that he launched those tariffs you know i know the ukraine aid was really so great for
00:47:03.260 america's industrial base did you guys feel that yeah i don't i don't think so thank you scott
00:47:08.700 pelly you're very convincing in your presentation but unfortunately the facts do not comport
00:47:13.660 uh with your propaganda but that was the first day in a very long time in this country where the
00:47:20.140 working class the people who mark zuckerberg thinks are dumb enough that if he just sends a stupid
00:47:28.380 apology letter to house judiciary saying that i promise i won't rig elections and the center for tech
00:47:34.060 and civic life well we're we're out of the political space yeah but all of my i guess fellow
00:47:40.060 co-founders of facebook and all my silicon valley friends they're still going to be in it they'll just
00:47:45.660 say they're like pseudo maga yeah okay president trump put you first and put you over him and i would
00:47:54.140 strongly implore and encourage this administration to keep doing that when it comes to this whole meta
00:48:00.460 case because for me and i think for a lot of people watching this show that the zuckerberg issue is a
00:48:07.020 red line in the sand and like i'm telling you you know i live in dc you know i i know all the people
00:48:12.700 all the influencers there is a massive massive effort going on at the hands of meta to try to
00:48:20.540 direct dare i say smear the narrative about zuckerberg about his maga come up you know do a
00:48:27.580 couple of rounds of jujitsu and now all of a sudden you're a real strong tough man apparently that's what's
00:48:33.180 going to go over with the maga crowd now maybe just say you don't support open borders and that
00:48:37.900 would go a little bit further but they are spending a bunch of cash to try to influence the influencers
00:48:44.780 into not talking and not calling out mark zuckerberg for who he is now i think i have very clearly
00:48:51.420 demonstrated that i despite their best efforts i'm not on their payroll but be very very clear-eyed
00:48:57.660 about the people who shows you're watching this week frankly since a while back who are not talking
00:49:04.460 about this issue or who are talking about it very euphemistically and very vaguely because i can
00:49:09.420 guarantee you that those people are somehow caught up in some weird form of a meta lobbying campaign
00:49:18.220 and meta influence orbit and speaking of influence orbits you guys know we've been really honing in on
00:49:25.660 the people who are opposing the tariffs and a lot of these think tanks you saw over the weekend all
00:49:31.100 the so-called experts emanating out of the brookings institution the center for american progress the
00:49:36.540 center for security and international studies the atlantic council the carnegie endowment and then all of
00:49:42.060 the so-called elite institutions the harvards of the world well unfortunately whatever you have to say
00:49:49.180 on tariffs doesn't matter because you guys are nothing more than cheap made in china knockoffs of what
00:49:55.020 academics and think tankers should be since you guys have taken so much cash that is the cash that
00:50:00.300 you've reported since you purposely lobbied for the loopholes to make it so you don't have to disclose
00:50:05.100 what foreign money you're taking but you guys couldn't even put america first if you wanted to
00:50:11.740 and you know what i think the grand irony if not outright laugh and spit in your faces of this whole
00:50:19.020 situation is that these same people these same think tanks the same elitist ruling class who believe
00:50:27.420 me thinks and thinks they're better than you well the reason why we have to write continue supporting
00:50:35.820 ukraine the united states of ukraine are that's our 51st state it's not canada the reason why we have
00:50:42.140 to keep doing that is because we have to do that to keep china in check right yeah alienate russia into more
00:50:48.220 of their sphere of influence to be china make that make sense you can't but that aside president
00:50:55.260 trump does the one thing that this country has left in their toolkit their tool belt to take on
00:51:00.140 the chinese communist party abandons the equity mindset of global politics where we have to negotiate
00:51:06.620 as if we're some third-rate country like somalia where we have no leverage instead we actually show
00:51:13.260 that muscle on on the world stage and say you know what china we're going to slap you with triple
00:51:19.020 digit tariffs and i don't know about you but i've only heard what from these guys that the chinese
00:51:24.380 communist party is an existential threat and that's why we have to keep funding ukraine right
00:51:30.380 then president trump treats them like the existential threat that they are
00:51:33.900 suddenly no one supports it it's quite interesting and it's quite telling right that it's all one big
00:51:47.260 lie so get rid of your fact checking program meta there's a lot more when it comes to information
00:51:53.100 warfare the fact checkers were 0.0001 of it mark zuckerberg i'm not buying it and i never will and
00:51:59.820 this audience never will i know you might think you're really smart and that all we care about
00:52:03.740 is masculinity dropping dei and getting rid of the fact checkers it's a nice start it's an opening bid
00:52:10.220 but we're not going to buy it so i suggest that you get ready for your companies to be broken up and
00:52:15.740 maggot will be there celebrating and applauding and maybe you should just sell your house while you're
00:52:20.140 at it too get ready for your prison sentence because in a just world that's where you would be headed
