Summary

In a speech to his audience, Pope Leo XIII said that Catholics are the new religion, and that immigrants from Latin America and the Middle East are here to save us from spiritual desertification. What does this say about the state of the Catholic Church? And what does it mean about the pontificate of Pope Francis?

00:00:00.000 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
00:00:07.700 Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
00:00:12.940 I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
00:00:17.200 The people have had a belly full of it.
00:00:19.120 I know you don't like hearing that.
00:00:20.560 I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that,
00:00:22.300 but you're not going to stop it.
00:00:23.240 It's going to happen.
00:00:24.500 And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
00:00:27.900 Mega Media.
00:00:28.820 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:00:34.700 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
00:00:38.440 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
00:00:44.780 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
00:00:48.060 Wednesday 30th of July, Anno Domini 2025.
00:00:59.000 Let's go straight on with the show, because we've got a lot of stories and developments to go through with you today.
00:01:05.720 I'll be joined, as ever, by Frank Walker from Canon 212 and Jenny Holland, as the show progresses.
00:01:16.580 Frank, let's start with this speech that Pope Leo gave,
00:01:22.720 where he says that Catholic migrants save countries that welcome them from spiritual desertification.
00:01:35.540 Spiritual desertification.
00:01:37.220 My first reaction on seeing this is that actually it's preaching the gospel that saves us from spiritual desertification.
00:01:49.720 Talk us through the, who was his audience?
00:01:52.160 What was he saying?
00:01:53.080 And let's break down what he said, because I think there were some signals in this speech
00:01:58.120 that will very much confirm what the War Room has been warning about
00:02:02.080 since we started doing this Wednesday 6 p.m. show at the beginning of the pontificate.
00:02:09.220 But, Frank, I'll hand over to you right now.
00:02:11.100 Tell us about what Pope Leo was saying.
00:02:13.860 I think that he's talking mainly to the, it seems like, to the immigrants in this side of the world,
00:02:22.100 not so much the Islamic immigrants, but here we have Hispanic immigrants who come from a Catholic background.
00:02:30.040 I don't know how Catholic they are.
00:02:31.280 In fact, I think if they actually were Catholic, then they would not be so in demand,
00:02:37.420 because they would vote Republican if they were Catholics.
00:02:40.520 They don't want faithful Catholics.
00:02:43.860 But that's what he's referring to about spiritual desertification.
00:02:49.060 They act as if that problem in the world where people are losing the faith is something that's just sort of happening.
00:02:56.780 It's just happening in the world.
00:02:58.420 It's not their fault.
00:02:59.340 It has nothing to do with them.
00:03:00.620 And these Catholic migrants are going to come here, and they're going to rejuvenate us spiritually.
00:03:04.920 But what he is referring to here is that this migration is of the new religion.
00:03:12.460 And these migrants, just like liberation theology, which is the communization of Catholicism,
00:03:20.500 they're taking illegal immigration and turning into this new religion.
00:03:25.160 And so they are like the poor, and they give us a closeness to God.
00:03:30.740 They're going to fix us spiritually.
00:03:32.300 They're going to take away the spiritual desert for all of us.
00:03:35.240 They're like, they're divine.
00:03:36.840 In fact, their divine presence is absolutely necessary to our salvation.
00:03:43.000 That's what he's saying.
00:03:44.080 What does it say about the state of the Catholic Church, Frank Walker,
00:03:51.780 that the supposed, the purported Pope at the very top of the apex has so little regard
00:04:00.040 for Catholics in Western country and their ability to move the culture forward?
00:04:06.840 Listen to this, one of many, one of many extracts in this speech,
00:04:13.480 and we really could spend the whole show going through it.
00:04:16.820 Listen to this.
00:04:17.640 With their spiritual enthusiasm and vitality, they can help revitalize ecclesial communities
00:04:25.920 that have become rigid and weighed down, where spiritual desertification is advancing at an alarming rate.
00:04:35.420 Well, I highlighted the word rigid there because attentive followers of the warring
00:04:42.560 will know that rigid was the favorite go-to criticism of whom?
00:04:49.060 Francis.
00:04:50.480 Oh, Francis.
00:04:52.040 Not like the rigid.
00:04:54.720 You can't stand for anything.
00:04:57.660 You cannot be a firm believer.
00:04:59.700 You cannot be a fundamentalist.
00:05:01.420 You have to be pliable.
00:05:02.900 You have to be flexible and open to his new religion.
00:05:06.720 And he's saying that these migrants are, not that they're Catholics, they're not those rigid Catholics.
00:05:12.780 They're this new religion.
00:05:14.400 They're going to revitalize us, take away this rigid desertification that we have here.
00:05:20.480 They have a faith beyond what our eyes can see.
00:05:23.480 See, the people who invented this fake religion, they're atheists.
00:05:27.640 They have no religion, and they look at Catholicism as this, you know, as this trick.
00:05:33.260 And so they think they can give us a new religion, and we'll believe it on faith.
00:05:38.780 We can't see, but we'll have faith in what they're telling us.
00:05:42.040 They don't have to make any sense.
00:05:43.520 It doesn't have to be true.
00:05:45.100 It doesn't have to have any results.
00:05:46.480 But that's what we're supposed to believe, because we're the kind of dupes that will believe what they tell us.
00:05:51.340 And he even moves in this speech here to no nukes, global warming, and fixing holy inequality.
00:06:00.000 You know, if you didn't have the speech here in front of you folks, you would think that what Frank Walker is saying here is an exaggeration.
00:06:11.400 But it really is.
00:06:12.360 This is a reading direct from the text.
00:06:14.980 So here are some of the extracts.
00:06:17.400 Many migrants, refugees, and displaced persons, what we in the trade call invaders, are privileged witnesses of hope.
00:06:29.160 They're not common or garden witnesses of hope, Frank Walker.
00:06:33.140 They're privileged.
00:06:35.040 They are privileged witnesses of hope.
00:06:37.100 I hope you're feeling the privilege here.
00:06:38.780 And he emphasized that their presence should be recognized and appreciated as a true divine blessing, an opportunity to open oneself to the grace of God, who gives new energy and hope to his church.
00:06:57.120 The courage and tenacity bear heroic testimony to a faith that sees beyond what our eyes can see,
00:07:05.760 and gives them the strength to defy death on the various contemporary migration routes.
00:07:13.580 It's all there.
00:07:14.480 This is pure Bergoglio, right?
00:07:17.180 If we'd have read this two months ago, three months ago, you would have thought this was a classic Pope Francis speech.
00:07:27.520 It raises up and idealizes those who are without, and by its tacit ignorance,
00:07:35.760 of the Catholic faithful living in their own communities, who aren't considered at all in this, Frank Walker.
00:07:44.040 The actual pastoral care of Catholics in their own countries isn't even, it's not even an afterthought in this.
00:07:54.020 Where we are not even considered, we are just expected to pay, right?
00:07:58.100 To pay the taxes that go to welcoming, to pay the taxes that go on education for children who are here illegally,
00:08:07.380 health care, sheltering, hotels, and what have you.
00:08:11.960 We're expected to pay it, and we're not even given an acknowledgement in this.
00:08:16.920 And then I think the most offensive thing here is the line, migrants, one of the most offensive things.
00:08:23.520 Migrants and refugees remind the church of her pilgrim dimension, perpetually journeying toward her final homeland,
00:08:32.980 sustained by a hope that is a theological virtue.
00:08:35.980 Before I hand back, Frank, to you for your thoughts on this, I just want to point out that the sleight of hand that is involved here
00:08:45.820 and the work that it takes to do this is absolutely astonishing, because the effective conceit here,
00:08:53.940 the attempt that Pope Leo is trying to hoodwink us with is putting a theological veneer on what is illegally breaking
00:09:08.500 and entering into another people's country and living there at their expense.
00:09:14.920 And then you have, and this is really quite outrageous, not only is that condoned here
00:09:20.500 and considered to be an active act of God, it's padded out with this cod theological language
00:09:30.580 and these cod theological platitudes which have no actual bearing on the case.
00:09:39.800 Look, their courage and tenacity bear heroic testimony to a faith that sees beyond what our eyes can see.
00:09:47.800 That's really quite, the goal is absolutely quite astonishing there.
00:09:54.820 Yeah, and you're right, it is a sleight of hand.
00:09:57.920 It's making a religion out of these globalist goals.
00:10:01.720 They, you know, and there is money involved.
00:10:03.980 In this country, they're trying to turn the electorate into something that will promote their socialism.
00:10:09.980 And over in Europe, they're Islamicizing Europe, which is something that will never be able to be undone
00:10:16.900 without the power of a strong Catholic church.
00:10:20.960 He even quotes, to make this religion, he cracks the whip.
00:10:24.920 He invokes St. Augustine.
00:10:26.480 He says that we'll become worldly.
00:10:28.480 He invokes St. Paul.
00:10:29.480 He says that we're going to, we're not going to be subject to Christ if we don't follow his religion here.
00:10:35.620 And then at the end, as Francis always used to do, he invokes Our Lady.
00:10:40.700 He, I think that he's better at this than Francis.
00:10:43.480 I think he's even, I think there are several things about this pope that are more frightening than Francis
00:10:49.040 because he's here to sort of solidify the religion.
00:10:53.100 He's taking this and making it a religion in all of his speeches.
00:10:56.740 I mean, sometimes he's even very canned about it.
00:10:59.420 He talks about peace, peace, peace all the time.
00:11:02.180 He says these illegals are going towards integral human development, whatever that's supposed to mean.
00:11:09.200 You know, he has to bring in their canned words.
00:11:10.820 What does that mean?
00:11:11.420 I think it just means like more funding and compliance.
00:11:15.480 So it's, I think he's more frightening than, even than Francis and more effective.
00:11:20.680 And he does not have a pushback.
00:11:22.880 He's, the people are, there's no longer a resistance in the press.
00:11:26.180 If they are resistance and they push back, they're just getting quiet.
00:11:30.220 They're quiet.
00:11:31.240 And this thing he did this just now with all of these hundreds of thousands of young people,
00:11:35.840 he looks like God going through St. Peter's Square.
00:11:38.680 I mean, the production value of these events, I don't see anybody countering it anymore.
00:11:44.160 And I still hear the same, you know, worshipful stuff from people who used to be resistant Catholics.
00:11:49.720 That, we had that with Francis.
00:11:51.400 We don't have that anymore and it's not coming back.
00:11:53.500 But give me a final observation on this point, will you?
00:11:57.960 Because that's absolutely correct.
00:11:59.360 Where is the outrage from all these traditional Catholic pockets in media and in NGOs?
00:12:07.560 Where, where, where is, why aren't they speaking?
00:12:10.120 Had Bergoglio who said this, they'd be pushing this up as their leading article.
00:12:15.240 And there's just basically relative silence.
00:12:17.360 Tell me why you think that is.
00:12:18.940 Well, I think it's all for the same reason, the reason that this is part of Leo's religion.
00:12:25.480 It's Leo's job, like Cardinal McCarrick said about Francis years ago, is to be a Pied Piper.
00:12:31.960 We're the rats.
00:12:33.220 The Pied Piper has to lead us in the direction that the globalist rulers want us to go,
00:12:38.640 no matter how ridiculous this religion sounds.
00:12:41.200 And the press was not actively corralled into this project the first time around.
00:12:47.720 This time around, whoever makes decisions about the press, whoever makes decisions about the people who have the most reach,
00:12:53.860 has made sure, has tried very hard to make sure.
00:12:56.540 There is a burgeoning movement of different Catholics out there that are trying to resist.
00:13:02.480 But they don't have the reach that the other people had before.
00:13:05.620 And I think it's about money.
00:13:06.640 It's about people at the highest levels of society making strategic differences in the way that they approach after Francis.
00:13:15.500 I think that's why.
00:13:16.540 It is very much, Frank, a confirmation of what we were warning about from the very beginning,
00:13:23.560 that Prevost, Pope Leo, is more dangerous than Bergoglio, than Pope Francis,
00:13:31.920 because he's more intelligent and therefore more subtle.
00:13:36.640 But as I say, all of the conservative traditional pockets of Catholicism that had sort of made their names fighting against Bergoglio
00:13:48.880 would have been up in arms had Bergoglio said this.
00:13:53.120 Leo says it, and he's got that nice little red velveteen mozzetta.
00:13:58.100 And they're all saying, ooh, ooh, look at the mozzetta.
00:14:00.740 We have a traditional pope.
00:14:01.820 Give Leo a chance, which I think just shows their absolute imperative of not to challenge the grift.
00:14:11.760 Stand by, because we're now going to have a little look at one of the most astonishing articles.
00:14:19.380 If that wasn't bad enough, one of the most astonishing developments that Jenny Holland will be recounting to us,
00:14:26.880 this is now on the UK government website, pushing out advertisements, job advertisements for people with PhDs in Sharia law.
00:14:41.460 So this is what happens when you have unrestrained, when you do nothing about the invasion.
00:14:45.360 And interestingly, just to go to the point that we were discussing earlier,
00:14:50.940 Pope Leo is specifically talking about effectively the invasion in America coming from Latin American Catholic countries.
00:15:03.140 There's zero reference to what's actually the situation here in Europe where he is now based,
00:15:08.980 which has largely a very much Islamic phenomenon.
00:15:13.640 Since Trump was sworn in, his administration has made enormous progress at a breakneck pace.
00:15:21.940 But don't forget, while they're moving mountains for the good of the nation,
00:15:25.860 they can't also take your personal savings into account.
00:15:30.140 You have to do that.

00:16:25.540 or call 972-Patriot for a free month of service.
00:16:31.120 Jenny, you were hearing the discussion I was having with Frank Walker just now
00:16:36.960 about Pope Leo's speech
00:16:40.180 taking without missing a beat
00:16:42.680 the radical pro-globalist invasion agenda of his predecessor
00:16:48.480 but now let's dig a little deeper into what's going on in UK
00:16:54.980 because this is a development story
00:16:58.580 which literally if I had not seen it, I wouldn't have believed it
00:17:02.400 and by looking at this, one might reasonably think all is lost in the Sceptic Isle
00:17:08.360 so tell us, Jenny, this is an official government
00:17:11.360 the Department for Work and Pensions
00:17:13.720 it's an official government, UK civil service department
00:17:19.460 advertising for a job with a requirement of a PhD
00:17:25.520 in Shuvaya Law, right? Tell me more
00:17:28.900 Yes, it's actually the UK equivalent of the Social Security Administration
00:17:34.440 it's the largest civil service bureaucracy
00:17:36.520 it administers pensions, unemployment benefits, child benefit
00:17:41.180 and all sorts of other things, job and help with finding jobs
00:17:45.040 now there was a little bit of damage control today
00:17:47.820 on behalf of the DWP, I suppose
00:17:51.720 the Independent reported
00:17:53.140 they were at pains to point out
00:17:55.240 it's not a job with the Department of Work and Pensions
00:17:57.740 it's a job with a Muslim community centre
00:18:01.340 I fail to be reassured by this equivocation
00:18:07.020 because I fail to understand why
00:18:10.860 they need a Sharia court, a Sharia law administrator
00:18:14.240 of any sort
00:18:16.480 in any part of the United Kingdom
00:18:18.900 I think a lot of people have only woken up
00:18:22.380 to the extent of the
00:18:24.740 let's say
00:18:26.380 political influence of
00:18:28.160 the especially Pakistani
00:18:30.120 immigrant community
00:18:32.300 here in the UK quite recently
00:18:34.240 but actually this has been a problem for
00:18:36.400 in general for many decades
00:18:38.640 and specifically with the Sharia court issue
00:18:41.020 it's been a problem going back about 20 years
00:18:44.160 in January of this year
00:18:46.100 Ayaan Hirsi Ali actually gave a very interesting
00:18:48.760 interview with Sky News Australia
00:18:50.900 in which she pointed out that this
00:18:53.880 that people have been aware of this in the UK
00:18:56.480 since 2006
00:18:58.080 and the reporting in that segment
00:19:00.980 indicated that there were 85 Islamic courts
00:19:05.100 in the UK
00:19:06.220 as far as you know
00:19:07.840 as far as anyone could ascertain
00:19:09.680 it turns out
00:19:12.280 in 2008
00:19:13.780 just to go give you further background
00:19:16.200 to see how
00:19:17.680 deep this problem is
00:19:20.520 none other than the Archbishop of Canterbury
00:19:23.560 who at the time was Dr. Rowan Williams
00:19:26.660 spoke to BBC Radio 4
00:19:30.580 and nonchalantly said
00:19:33.080 that Sharia courts
00:19:35.460 were an unavoidable fact of life
00:19:37.740 in the United Kingdom
00:19:38.620 and that Sharia law even
00:19:41.640 would help maintain social cohesion
00:19:44.900 so when you were just speaking there
00:19:47.340 about Prevost
00:19:48.140 and his blessing
00:19:50.860 of the illegal immigrant invasion
00:19:53.540 in the United States
00:19:54.760 you know
00:19:56.200 we have 20 years on you guys
00:19:58.380 over here in the UK
00:20:00.060 and it's just another example
00:20:03.840 as if we need any more examples
00:20:05.980 of how out of touch
00:20:08.880 elites are
00:20:10.380 and that includes all the church elites
00:20:12.880 both Catholic and Church of England
00:20:15.260 with the public sentiment
00:20:17.660 someone like
00:20:19.580 the Archbishop of Canterbury
00:20:21.260 and even the Pope
00:20:22.880 and I'm being generous here Ben
00:20:24.520 you would probably disagree with me
00:20:26.020 but I'm being very generous in saying
00:20:27.980 they seem to think
00:20:29.380 that we still live in
00:20:30.840 I don't know
00:20:31.460 1980 or 1975
00:20:33.760 when you know
00:20:35.660 the questions of integration
00:20:37.520 were framed very differently
00:20:39.460 and the numbers were very different
00:20:41.440 we don't longer live in that world
00:20:43.740 you know
00:20:44.460 in a year
00:20:45.440 in the last few months
00:20:47.220 we've seen extensive reporting
00:20:49.060 on the Pakistani rape gangs
00:20:51.040 and all sorts of other
00:20:53.180 political corruption
00:20:54.880 in
00:20:56.020 predominantly Pakistani districts
00:20:59.200 in the north of England
00:21:00.140 specifically
00:21:00.780 and you have to ask yourself
00:21:03.140 at what point
00:21:04.440 is the government
00:21:05.480 the civil service
00:21:06.840 and the political leaders
00:21:08.440 going to
00:21:09.920 face
00:21:10.960 the anger
00:21:12.320 and the justifiable
00:21:14.440 concern
00:21:15.640 amongst British people
00:21:17.840 about how far
00:21:19.960 the influence
00:21:21.300 of the Muslim religion
00:21:22.360 goes
00:21:22.860 in a supposedly secular
00:21:24.840 Western democracy
00:21:26.260 they're never going to
00:21:29.380 to deal with it
00:21:30.360 at any point
00:21:31.300 that's the only part
00:21:35.240 I you know
00:21:35.880 actually what you said before
00:21:36.940 about the
00:21:37.620 the terms of debate
00:21:39.420 having changed
00:21:40.100 since the 80s onwards
00:21:41.020 is a very
00:21:41.500 very apt point
00:21:42.620 it's absolutely true
00:21:43.820 but you know
00:21:46.400 that's why
00:21:47.120 the people who are
00:21:48.640 who I think
00:21:49.600 you know
00:21:49.860 have stabbed
00:21:50.420 Great Britain in the back
00:21:51.460 the British establishment
00:21:52.320 have stabbed
00:21:53.140 the United Kingdom
00:21:54.040 and the British people
00:21:54.880 in the back
00:21:55.780 and forced something
00:21:57.900 on them
00:21:58.240 that they never had
00:21:58.900 permission or consent
00:21:59.880 from the people to do
00:22:01.060 lied about it
00:22:02.320 continuously
00:22:03.080 lying to this day
00:22:04.800 and when you do
00:22:06.400 get pockets now
00:22:07.400 of people
00:22:08.000 resisting
00:22:08.820 and trying to push back
00:22:10.980 they're put in prison
00:22:12.080 for two and a half years
00:22:13.720 for retweeting
00:22:15.080 that is their response
00:22:18.920 of dealing
00:22:19.620 of dialogue
00:22:20.660 and debate
00:22:21.540 with the people
00:22:22.940 who are actually
00:22:23.460 paid the taxes
00:22:24.180 in Great Britain
00:22:24.880 it's a suppression
00:22:25.940 they'll dialogue
00:22:27.840 with anyone
00:22:28.400 who's coming into
00:22:29.080 the country illegally
00:22:30.040 of course they will
00:22:31.280 because it's the same
00:22:32.340 thing that we saw
00:22:33.420 in the first part
00:22:34.900 of the show
00:22:35.340 with Pope Leo
00:22:36.920 these people
00:22:37.760 will prostrate
00:22:38.900 themselves
00:22:39.580 because they're liberals
00:22:40.520 there's something
00:22:41.520 in the DNA
00:22:42.240 of a liberal
00:22:43.480 progressive
00:22:44.100 that hates
00:22:45.320 and scorns
00:22:47.480 oneself
00:22:48.280 and one's own
00:22:49.280 culture
00:22:49.860 and puts on
00:22:51.500 a pedestal
00:22:52.640 that which is
00:22:53.260 foreign and different
00:22:54.240 I think it's a form
00:22:56.580 of self-hatred
00:22:57.380 and self-loathing
00:22:59.120 but it's exactly
00:22:59.780 the same phenomenon
00:23:00.580 both
00:23:01.020 in the Church of England
00:23:02.940 and in the Catholic Church
00:23:04.420 these people
00:23:05.120 they adore
00:23:06.520 and they will
00:23:07.200 prostrate themselves
00:23:08.520 prostrate themselves
00:23:09.680 before illegal invaders
00:23:13.020 and the people
00:23:14.060 whose actual
00:23:14.960 the care of souls
00:23:16.400 that they actually
00:23:16.880 have responsibility for
00:23:17.980 they're invisible
00:23:19.300 they're not to be seen
00:23:21.280 and they're just
00:23:22.740 treated with contempt
00:23:24.580 they're worse than invisible
00:23:26.860 they are
00:23:27.860 they're treated
00:23:28.320 they're treated
00:23:28.820 with contempt
00:23:29.460 they're treated
00:23:30.940 like the enemy
00:23:31.640 in some instances
00:23:32.940 like the woman
00:23:34.240 who's doing
00:23:34.880 still doing time
00:23:35.860 for a slightly
00:23:37.420 intemperate tweet
00:23:38.440 that she took down
00:23:39.380 of her own accord
00:23:40.100 and she got a heftier
00:23:41.400 prison sentence
00:23:42.140 than men
00:23:43.440 who have actually
00:23:44.220 been convicted
00:23:45.000 of sex crimes
00:23:45.960 against children
00:23:47.360 and young women
00:23:48.080 and bear in mind
00:23:49.560 so the Sharia
00:23:50.460 court thing
00:23:51.480 I mean
00:23:52.320 the defenders
00:23:53.480 are going to
00:23:54.060 sort of obfuscate
00:23:55.300 by saying
00:23:55.820 oh no no
00:23:56.740 I mean
00:23:57.080 these are advisory
00:23:58.240 these provide only guidance
00:23:59.660 and that's all well and good
00:24:01.180 and I'm sure
00:24:01.820 there is some evidence
00:24:03.480 to that
00:24:04.100 to back that up
00:24:05.620 but there's also
00:24:06.440 a lot of evidence
00:24:07.540 just even
00:24:08.320 in common sense
00:24:09.640 that in communities
00:24:11.260 that are predominantly Muslim
00:24:12.660 and have very little
00:24:13.540 interaction with the British
00:24:14.880 culture
00:24:15.780 and the British state
00:24:16.760 other than perhaps
00:24:17.700 welfare payments
00:24:19.180 and you know
00:24:20.040 basic services
00:24:21.200 they might as well
00:24:24.100 be living in a Muslim country
00:24:25.340 they might as well
00:24:25.920 still be living in Pakistan
00:24:27.000 and what does Sharia law
00:24:28.780 what are the main reasons
00:24:30.440 for its application
00:24:31.860 in Britain
00:24:33.140 according to Ayaan Hirsi Ali
00:24:34.700 it is to deal with matters
00:24:36.320 of marriage
00:24:37.160 divorce
00:24:38.160 inheritance
00:24:38.880 and custody of children
00:24:40.180 and guess what
00:24:41.520 women don't fare so well
00:24:43.460 in those matters
00:24:44.460 they also sanction
00:24:46.600 polygamy
00:24:48.520 which is illegal
00:24:49.640 but again
00:24:50.240 according to Ayaan Hirsi Ali
00:24:51.400 in this interview
00:24:52.440 in Sky News
00:24:53.620 in January
00:24:54.360 there have been instances
00:24:55.740 in a surprise to no one
00:24:57.920 that where
00:24:58.920 the Islamic courts
00:25:00.240 were
00:25:00.520 allowing things
00:25:03.880 that were directly
00:25:04.560 against British law
00:25:05.660 and here's the paradox
00:25:09.720 whilst the
00:25:10.860 British
00:25:12.520 civil service
00:25:14.040 on its official
00:25:15.000 government website
00:25:16.320 is advertising
00:25:17.220 for roles
00:25:17.780 that require
00:25:18.480 a PhD
00:25:22.340 I think
00:25:23.100 in Sharia law
00:25:24.560 Christians
00:25:27.460 are being arrested
00:25:29.660 for praying in public
00:25:32.240 yes for praying
00:25:32.820 for praying in public
00:25:35.240 that is the UK
00:25:37.920 for you today
00:25:38.640 and if anyone
00:25:39.620 wants to accept
00:25:40.680 at face value
00:25:41.340 the mealy mouth
00:25:42.300 defence put out
00:25:44.080 by the Department
00:25:44.780 for Worker Pensions
00:25:45.620 that is just carrying
00:25:46.620 the advertisement
00:25:47.800 of a job
00:25:48.420 of this Muslim organisation
00:25:51.220 I believe that
00:25:52.680 when I see them
00:25:53.580 carrying job
00:25:54.660 advertisements
00:25:55.160 for the Society
00:25:56.240 for the Protection
00:25:56.940 of Unborn Children
00:25:57.960 or Catholic NGOs
00:26:00.000 asking for
00:26:01.360 putting out job
00:26:02.300 advertisements
00:26:03.600 requiring
00:26:04.680 I don't know
00:26:05.240 a PhD in canon law
00:26:06.460 from a
00:26:06.880 from a
00:26:07.380 pontifical
00:26:08.300 university
00:26:09.160 of course
00:26:09.820 it's a load
00:26:10.820 of nonsense
00:26:11.300 this is one of those
00:26:12.680 indications
00:26:13.600 weather veins
00:26:14.840 that illustrate
00:26:16.260 to you
00:26:16.880 where a country
00:26:18.000 is going
00:26:18.700 right
00:26:19.460 and democracy
00:26:20.760 is a
00:26:21.820 numbers game
00:26:22.800 right
00:26:23.880 it's a numbers game
00:26:26.100 as you and I
00:26:26.120 have talked about before
00:26:27.020 yeah
00:26:27.680 as we've spoken
00:26:29.140 about on this show
00:26:30.120 and the Muslims
00:26:31.080 have the numbers
00:26:31.980 and the sincere
00:26:33.620 devout
00:26:34.340 Christians
00:26:35.100 no longer do
00:26:36.320 because we've
00:26:37.360 had the faith
00:26:38.220 robbed from us
00:26:39.160 by our pastors
00:26:40.280 and it's been
00:26:42.140 replaced by
00:26:42.700 this environmental
00:26:43.640 pro-globalist
00:26:45.620 approach
00:26:46.380 and that is
00:26:47.020 the nature
00:26:47.820 of facing the UK
00:26:48.620 America still has
00:26:49.920 time to turn it around
00:26:50.980 as I say
00:26:51.740 repeatedly
00:26:52.420 folks stay with us
00:26:53.740 we'll be back
00:26:54.380 in two short minutes
00:26:56.060 this July
00:27:01.760 there is a global
00:27:02.500 summit
00:27:02.880 of BRICS nations
00:27:04.040 in Rio de Janeiro
00:27:05.580 the block
00:27:06.180 of emerging
00:27:06.700 superpowers
00:27:07.520 including China
00:27:08.800 Russia
00:27:09.220 India
00:27:09.740 and Persia
00:27:10.860 are meeting
00:27:11.840 with the goal
00:27:12.600 of displacing
00:27:13.460 the United States
00:27:14.400 dollar
00:27:14.840 as the global
00:27:15.600 currency
00:27:16.080 they're calling
00:27:17.440 this the
00:27:18.120 Rio reset
00:27:19.040 as BRICS nations
00:27:20.700 push forward
00:27:21.340 with their plans
00:27:22.080 global demand
00:27:22.800 for US dollars
00:27:23.580 will decrease
00:27:24.340 bringing down
00:27:25.200 the value
00:27:25.680 of the dollar
00:27:26.220 in your savings
00:27:27.480 while this transition
00:27:28.880 won't not happen
00:27:30.240 overnight
00:27:30.860 but trust me
00:27:32.240 it's going to start
00:27:33.180 in Rio
00:27:33.820 the Rio reset
00:27:35.220 in July
00:27:36.000 marks a pivotal
00:27:36.860 moment
00:27:37.280 when BRICS
00:27:38.220 objectives
00:27:38.740 move decisively
00:27:39.780 from a theoretical
00:27:41.000 possibility

00:28:27.980 hey I realize
00:28:29.540 you got many
00:28:30.060 choices when it
00:28:30.800 comes to who
00:28:31.480 you choose

00:28:33.620 new ones
00:28:34.000 popping up
00:28:34.680 all the time
00:28:35.400 but here's
00:28:35.780 the truth
00:28:36.220 there's only
00:28:36.980 one that
00:28:37.480 boldly stands
00:28:38.340 in the gap
00:28:38.900 for every
00:28:39.360 American

00:29:38.400 talk about
00:29:38.860 government
00:29:39.280 debt
00:29:39.620 but after
00:29:40.020 four years
00:29:40.560 of inflation
00:29:41.180 the real
00:29:41.900 crisis

00:29:44.940 you're working
00:29:45.640 harder than

00:30:16.720 and loan
00:30:17.200 companies
00:30:17.580 with one
00:30:18.080 goal to

00:30:59.440 welcome
00:31:06.440 back
00:31:06.720 well within
00:31:07.460 the sphere
00:31:08.420 of catholic
00:31:09.060 culture there's
00:31:09.760 a particular
00:31:10.360 marian shrine
00:31:11.620 a shrine
00:31:12.080 devoted to
00:31:13.000 the blessed
00:31:13.380 virgin mary
00:31:14.220 that has
00:31:14.580 always captured
00:31:15.220 the hearts
00:31:15.760 and the
00:31:16.020 imaginations
00:31:16.640 of the
00:31:17.320 faithful
00:31:17.740 it's one
00:31:18.420 of the
00:31:18.640 principal
00:31:19.040 marian
00:31:19.500 shrines
00:31:20.000 in europe
00:31:20.580 and i'm
00:31:20.840 talking
00:31:21.140 today about
00:31:22.420 the shrine
00:31:23.520 of lords
00:31:24.160 in france
00:31:25.000 this is a
00:31:25.620 shrine where
00:31:26.080 the virgin
00:31:26.440 mary
00:31:26.880 appeared
00:31:27.360 towards the
00:31:28.580 end of
00:31:28.920 the 19th
00:31:29.680 century
00:31:30.060 i think
00:31:30.280 it was
00:31:30.440 saint
00:31:30.940 bernadette
00:31:31.420 subaru
00:31:31.940 and a
00:31:34.220 miraculous
00:31:34.940 fountain of
00:31:36.820 water was
00:31:37.480 produced as
00:31:38.060 part of
00:31:38.460 those
00:31:38.660 apparitions
00:31:39.340 that from
00:31:40.400 that day
00:31:40.820 forward
00:31:41.260 were considered
00:31:42.200 to have
00:31:42.960 healing
00:31:44.000 properties
00:31:44.560 so within
00:31:46.480 the catholic
00:31:47.280 world
00:31:47.720 there's been
00:31:49.180 this constant
00:31:50.140 pilgrimage
00:31:50.720 especially of
00:31:51.740 sick people
00:31:52.420 to lords
00:31:53.520 praying for
00:31:54.080 a miracle
00:31:54.500 what happened
00:31:55.500 this week
00:31:56.200 was that
00:31:56.540 the 72nd
00:31:58.760 officially
00:31:59.380 recognized
00:32:00.180 miracle was
00:32:01.100 declared as
00:32:02.020 having taken
00:32:02.520 place about
00:32:02.920 some 16
00:32:03.580 years ago
00:32:04.420 in lords
00:32:05.420 jenny holland
00:32:06.120 you've been
00:32:06.940 following this
00:32:07.560 break this
00:32:07.960 down
00:32:08.220 tell us what
00:32:08.980 happened
00:32:09.240 what was the
00:32:09.740 nature of
00:32:10.380 the miracle
00:32:11.080 that has
00:32:12.640 been verified
00:32:13.660 here and
00:32:15.080 and then
00:32:15.480 we'll go on
00:32:16.460 from there
00:32:16.860 sure
00:32:19.400 yeah
00:32:19.800 so this
00:32:20.700 woman
00:32:21.460 this italian
00:32:22.360 woman was
00:32:22.820 suffering from
00:32:23.640 the degenerative
00:32:25.640 neurological
00:32:26.100 disease
00:32:26.860 ALS
00:32:28.040 which has
00:32:28.740 no cure
00:32:29.320 and is
00:32:30.260 essentially
00:32:31.100 fatal
00:32:31.580 eventually
00:32:32.220 and she
00:32:34.280 was
00:32:34.880 she went
00:32:35.440 to lords
00:32:35.920 with her
00:32:36.580 husband on
00:32:37.420 a sort of
00:32:38.540 an organized
00:32:39.180 trip with
00:32:40.120 a charity
00:32:40.600 and at the
00:32:41.300 point she
00:32:41.780 traveled she
00:32:42.620 was already
00:32:43.020 struggling to
00:32:43.720 swallow and
00:32:44.420 to breathe so
00:32:44.920 she was very
00:32:45.500 advanced her
00:32:46.020 disease was
00:32:46.560 very advanced
00:32:47.180 and she
00:32:49.840 heard voices
00:32:50.640 a female
00:32:51.140 voice and
00:32:52.560 you know
00:32:52.960 the the
00:32:53.900 the end
00:32:54.360 result of
00:32:54.800 this was
00:32:55.380 when she
00:32:55.760 returned home
00:32:56.700 she was
00:32:57.940 able she
00:32:58.640 began to
00:32:59.820 heal
00:33:00.200 and this
00:33:03.200 was attributed
00:33:03.680 to lords
00:33:04.680 and the
00:33:05.080 water and
00:33:05.700 the the
00:33:06.740 the female
00:33:07.220 voice the
00:33:07.760 mary i
00:33:08.700 suppose
00:33:09.060 intervening
00:33:11.640 and and
00:33:12.800 miraculously
00:33:13.780 healing her
00:33:14.460 um and
00:33:16.060 when she
00:33:16.440 went back
00:33:16.780 to italy
00:33:17.500 uh southern
00:33:18.220 italy
00:33:18.600 catania
00:33:19.540 no not
00:33:19.940 catania i
00:33:20.400 forget the
00:33:20.820 exact location
00:33:21.700 in the south
00:33:22.180 in the south
00:33:22.580 of italy
00:33:22.980 she was
00:33:24.840 um
00:33:25.300 the local
00:33:25.960 the basilica
00:33:27.300 thank you
00:33:27.900 the local
00:33:28.740 church uh
00:33:29.760 administration
00:33:30.340 sort of
00:33:30.840 supported her
00:33:31.740 claims and
00:33:32.760 they were
00:33:33.020 investigated and
00:33:34.100 there was no
00:33:34.680 other uh
00:33:35.820 source of
00:33:37.460 this miraculous
00:33:38.580 recovery
00:33:39.080 um now i
00:33:41.240 was i was
00:33:41.980 happy you sent
00:33:42.540 me this story
00:33:43.220 because the
00:33:45.000 idea of
00:33:45.520 miracles to
00:33:46.560 me is is
00:33:47.440 very new i
00:33:48.320 mean it's
00:33:48.860 not new
00:33:49.180 exactly because
00:33:50.080 i grew up in
00:33:50.940 catholic countries
00:33:51.680 and have
00:33:52.140 catholic
00:33:52.720 grandparents and
00:33:53.620 whatnot but i
00:33:55.560 grew up in
00:33:55.960 such a secular
00:33:56.660 world um and
00:33:58.640 my father in
00:33:59.580 particular who
00:34:00.440 had grown up
00:34:00.820 catholic was
00:34:01.400 anti the
00:34:02.860 anti the idea
00:34:03.600 of miracles
00:34:04.000 because he
00:34:05.020 was pro
00:34:05.400 science so
00:34:06.500 this is my
00:34:06.980 background and
00:34:08.140 when i read
00:34:08.620 about these
00:34:09.040 stories and i
00:34:09.700 think um
00:34:10.900 when you hear
00:34:12.420 there is no
00:34:12.920 other possible
00:34:13.600 explanation for
00:34:14.480 them um i
00:34:16.180 personally think
00:34:17.200 with all
00:34:17.920 humility that
00:34:18.880 these are the
00:34:19.320 sort of things
00:34:19.860 that catholic
00:34:20.660 the catholic uh
00:34:21.840 catholic church's
00:34:23.000 pr teams should
00:34:24.360 be spending a
00:34:24.980 lot more time
00:34:25.700 on because i
00:34:27.000 think that there
00:34:27.680 is a longing
00:34:28.700 in um secular
00:34:30.440 society among
00:34:31.820 young people
00:34:32.380 especially those
00:34:33.060 young people who
00:34:33.680 are coming to
00:34:34.220 the catholic
00:34:34.640 church now
00:34:35.320 to flee sort
00:34:36.900 of the modern
00:34:37.340 world um
00:34:38.660 there's a longing
00:34:39.280 for this idea
00:34:39.900 of re-enchantment
00:34:40.920 and i think
00:34:42.800 this these
00:34:43.260 would be uh
00:34:43.980 not to be
00:34:44.480 very um
00:34:45.460 you know crude
00:34:46.320 and and uh
00:34:47.760 glib about it
00:34:48.560 but these are
00:34:49.040 an excellent pr
00:34:50.020 exercise um
00:34:51.560 to say look
00:34:52.180 this is this
00:34:53.240 is what can
00:34:53.840 happen with
00:34:55.040 the power of
00:34:55.620 faith and the
00:34:56.120 power of prayer
00:34:56.820 and and
00:34:57.560 devotion to
00:34:58.180 mary um
00:34:59.480 and and to
00:35:01.900 any any
00:35:02.600 skeptic you
00:35:03.740 know i be
00:35:04.340 skeptical i'm
00:35:05.320 fine with that
00:35:05.800 that's a great
00:35:06.280 it's a great
00:35:06.740 trait but
00:35:07.840 anyone who's
00:35:08.860 going to
00:35:09.100 defend
00:35:09.620 contemporary
00:35:10.580 um culture
00:35:11.700 and say that
00:35:12.900 these things
00:35:13.380 these miraculous
00:35:14.120 events are
00:35:15.140 throwbacks or
00:35:16.620 um archaic or
00:35:17.920 or phantasmagorical
00:35:19.660 or whatever you
00:35:20.560 know made up
00:35:21.600 and imaginary
00:35:22.320 i would ask
00:35:23.600 them to explain
00:35:24.440 to me how
00:35:25.740 modern supposedly
00:35:27.180 enlightened supposedly
00:35:28.180 scientific society
00:35:29.280 has gotten
00:35:30.160 entirely on board
00:35:31.320 all of the
00:35:31.880 institutions all
00:35:33.640 the pediatric and
00:35:34.620 medical institutions
00:35:35.320 have gotten on
00:35:35.980 board with the
00:35:36.380 idea that a
00:35:37.300 child can be
00:35:37.900 born in the
00:35:38.500 wrong body and
00:35:39.460 if that's not
00:35:40.300 a flight of
00:35:41.240 fancy and a
00:35:42.040 far more damaging
00:35:42.800 one then i
00:35:44.080 don't know what
00:35:44.580 it what is
00:35:45.300 that's a perfect
00:35:47.100 point to show
00:35:47.920 um how um how
00:35:49.540 people can have
00:35:50.140 imagination when
00:35:51.020 they want to
00:35:51.500 have um so
00:35:53.040 the the story
00:35:54.080 here is that the
00:35:54.720 international medical
00:35:55.600 committee at
00:35:56.360 lords voted
00:35:57.800 20 uh 17 in
00:36:00.220 favor out of 20
00:36:01.220 out of its 21
00:36:02.280 members um and
00:36:04.800 they analyzed this
00:36:05.740 this group of
00:36:06.460 doctors obviously
00:36:07.180 and they said
00:36:08.680 that it was
00:36:09.540 unexplained
00:36:10.280 complete and
00:36:11.500 uh lasting
00:36:12.220 cure and
00:36:13.360 so without
00:36:14.860 two-thirds
00:36:15.380 majority as
00:36:16.460 required by the
00:36:17.460 church they
00:36:18.520 were officially
00:36:19.400 sanctioned that
00:36:21.020 as far as
00:36:21.620 science is
00:36:22.680 concerned there
00:36:23.400 there is no
00:36:24.080 uh rational
00:36:25.500 explanation for
00:36:26.400 this therefore
00:36:27.160 the catholic
00:36:27.680 church wants to
00:36:28.420 say this is a
00:36:29.040 miracle due to
00:36:30.140 the virgin
00:36:30.780 mary's
00:36:31.160 intercession the
00:36:32.100 catholic church
00:36:32.580 which is free
00:36:32.920 to do so
00:36:33.520 um now
00:36:35.720 the the since
00:36:37.040 the days of
00:36:37.620 benedict the
00:36:39.400 14th the
00:36:40.900 criteria for
00:36:42.860 defining a
00:36:44.520 miraculous healing
00:36:46.160 are these just
00:36:47.060 for folks
00:36:49.120 information it
00:36:49.960 has to be
00:36:50.360 sudden
00:36:50.760 complete
00:36:51.840 lasting
00:36:53.040 medically
00:36:53.860 inexplicable
00:36:55.040 and not
00:36:56.180 attributable to
00:36:57.180 treatment or
00:36:57.960 gradual recovery
00:36:59.040 and that's been
00:37:00.460 for centuries the
00:37:01.360 the criteria used
00:37:03.080 to determine you
00:37:04.340 get a many and
00:37:04.900 many of these
00:37:05.500 many 72
00:37:06.600 formally um
00:37:09.080 confirmed
00:37:09.580 miracles they're
00:37:10.380 like thousands of
00:37:11.500 stories uh of
00:37:13.220 healings which
00:37:14.380 perhaps won't
00:37:15.000 satisfy one or the
00:37:16.320 other of these
00:37:17.220 criteria therefore
00:37:18.160 they don't go
00:37:18.840 forward for uh
00:37:20.660 for full official
00:37:22.160 approval i had a
00:37:23.620 i had a friend
00:37:24.500 uh who died of
00:37:25.920 this um ales a
00:37:27.500 couple of years
00:37:28.060 ago in his uh
00:37:30.800 late 60s early
00:37:31.940 70s it's a
00:37:33.260 horrific degenerative
00:37:34.920 disease um and
00:37:36.200 he once said to me
00:37:36.840 that basically every
00:37:37.660 single day he
00:37:40.040 died a little bit
00:37:41.100 every single day
00:37:42.240 because uh
00:37:43.640 before the stage
00:37:45.820 that he ended up
00:37:46.560 in a wheelchair
00:37:47.640 and and then on the
00:37:49.220 on the hospital bed
00:37:50.200 uh with artificial
00:37:51.420 respiration every
00:37:52.860 day was a benchmark
00:37:54.080 of something he
00:37:54.700 was no longer able
00:37:55.520 to do by himself
00:37:56.460 like combing his
00:37:57.440 hair brush his
00:37:58.220 teeth cut his
00:37:59.680 food uh and as
00:38:00.880 the disease progressed
00:38:02.120 so it is it is an
00:38:03.560 absolute horrific
00:38:04.480 disease and and
00:38:05.400 and the the lady
00:38:06.380 here this italian
00:38:07.200 lady who's a
00:38:08.020 mother she she
00:38:09.280 has the habit of
00:38:10.160 of a nurse in in
00:38:11.300 the photos because
00:38:12.280 she's now she now
00:38:13.400 goes back to lords
00:38:14.320 uh to assist with
00:38:15.700 the care of all as
00:38:16.820 as a volunteer of
00:38:18.060 of the sick and
00:38:18.920 faithful who
00:38:19.680 passed through but
00:38:21.280 she's a she's a
00:38:21.940 she's a mother she's
00:38:22.580 a woman a married
00:38:23.400 woman with her own
00:38:24.700 adult children and
00:38:26.180 she basically said
00:38:27.200 that she went there
00:38:27.960 to she'd always she'd
00:38:28.960 always wanted to go
00:38:29.700 to lords um but she
00:38:32.440 only got the chance
00:38:33.440 to go with her
00:38:34.560 husband and once she
00:38:37.060 was sort of um in
00:38:38.300 it it's somewhat
00:38:39.620 advanced years uh and
00:38:41.300 in the wheelchair
00:38:41.920 because the disease
00:38:42.780 was already working
00:38:45.020 working its toll on
00:38:46.800 her and that she
00:38:48.020 descended into
00:38:48.780 water the water
00:38:49.700 she felt um she
00:38:51.540 heard or she
00:38:53.000 doesn't say it's the
00:38:53.700 virgin mary she
00:38:54.420 said she just said
00:38:55.280 she heard a woman's
00:38:55.980 voice saying three
00:38:57.380 times do not be
00:38:58.540 afraid as she was
00:38:59.920 lowered into the um
00:39:01.280 in in into the
00:39:03.060 water and she said
00:39:04.140 she felt a sharp a
00:39:05.380 sharp i think a hot
00:39:08.020 pain in her legs but
00:39:09.440 she didn't say
00:39:10.000 anything um and
00:39:11.700 then her husband
00:39:12.360 then she went back
00:39:13.400 to her home um and
00:39:15.760 again she heard the
00:39:16.600 same voice saying
00:39:17.580 tell your husband
00:39:18.380 tell your husband
00:39:19.060 so in the first time
00:39:20.840 in years she told him
00:39:22.440 what happened and she
00:39:23.240 basically stood up out
00:39:24.780 of out of the
00:39:25.640 wheelchair first you
00:39:26.900 stood unaided for the
00:39:28.080 first time in years
00:39:29.160 um and then she told
00:39:33.240 her priest who told
00:39:34.120 the bishop who told
00:39:35.620 the authorities um
00:39:36.760 and there's no signs
00:39:37.940 whatsoever of this
00:39:38.980 degenerative disease
00:39:39.920 and i think you're
00:39:40.780 right jenny it is a
00:39:41.860 it is a sign of hope
00:39:43.380 very different from
00:39:44.720 what we're talking
00:39:45.180 about in the first
00:39:45.860 half of the show
00:39:46.740 for first half of
00:39:48.280 the show of what
00:39:49.260 pope leo calls
00:39:50.200 witnesses of hope
00:39:51.620 i think these stories
00:39:52.520 here are absolutely
00:39:53.460 witnesses for hope
00:39:54.780 i'd like to quote if
00:39:56.160 i may because i think
00:39:57.040 these are very
00:39:57.380 beautiful words from
00:39:58.380 the director of the
00:39:59.860 uh the sanctuary the
00:40:01.320 rector of the sanctuary
00:40:02.160 father michael
00:40:03.080 dubenet who said we
00:40:05.700 often say if i saw a
00:40:07.540 miracle i would believe
00:40:09.060 but the truth is if i
00:40:10.980 believe i can see
00:40:12.120 miracles
00:40:12.680 and he reflected
00:40:14.680 this healing is not
00:40:16.220 just a story from the
00:40:17.500 past it's a living
00:40:18.540 testimony that
00:40:19.720 continues to bear
00:40:21.440 fruit so that's a
00:40:23.240 beautiful story uh
00:40:24.500 jenny just do you
00:40:25.120 have any final
00:40:26.140 observations on that
00:40:27.200 before we move on
00:40:27.920 yeah i do actually
00:40:29.800 um i think that it's
00:40:32.040 an interesting example
00:40:33.320 of the wisdom of the
00:40:35.400 folk and the common
00:40:36.300 people um like an
00:40:39.020 ordinary woman who is
00:40:40.700 uh undergoing sort of
00:40:42.820 the ultimate trial and
00:40:44.260 ordeal you know i mean
00:40:45.620 back in the day people
00:40:46.860 used to undergo terrible
00:40:48.200 physical ordeals all the
00:40:49.480 time and we were much
00:40:50.260 more accustomed to it
00:40:51.200 um but she's undergoing
00:40:52.880 this terrible ordeal and
00:40:54.560 she has this moment you
00:40:56.280 know after being sort of
00:40:58.380 after suffering and um and
00:41:00.240 being tried essentially she
00:41:02.320 gets this moment of mercy
00:41:04.540 and healing and then that's
00:41:06.340 a universal story i mean if
00:41:08.040 you go on instagram you
00:41:09.660 can find lots of sort of
00:41:11.080 new age people who are
00:41:12.820 trying to recreate this
00:41:14.300 very um this very idea
00:41:16.640 that ordinary people can
00:41:18.600 transcend material uh
00:41:21.160 material pain and their
00:41:23.860 material circumstances and
00:41:25.600 ascend to something higher
00:41:27.160 so there i just want to
00:41:29.000 reiterate there is a huge
00:41:30.460 desire and a huge hunger
00:41:31.860 for these kind of stories
00:41:32.940 out there amongst ordinary
00:41:34.680 people including young
00:41:36.300 people and as usual the uh
00:41:39.840 the high the highest
00:41:41.620 echelons of these
00:41:43.080 institutions are the last
00:41:45.400 to realize it because
00:41:46.720 they're too tied up in
00:41:47.820 their own ego games and
00:41:48.980 their power plays and they
00:41:50.460 forget that the wisdom
00:41:52.100 still lies with the people
00:41:54.160 yeah the wisdom not only
00:41:58.120 the wisdom but also the
00:41:59.320 faith you said something
00:42:00.600 before jenny i before
00:42:01.980 moving on i actually do
00:42:02.780 want to come back to what
00:42:03.560 you said it was a throw
00:42:04.820 away comment but it was
00:42:05.720 actually very profound and
00:42:07.500 that is that catholics for
00:42:10.180 centuries have been scorned
00:42:13.180 by the secular world because
00:42:15.440 catholics believe that the
00:42:16.860 words of the the the priest
00:42:18.940 the pronunciation of the
00:42:19.960 words of the priest at the
00:42:21.020 mass the consecration then
00:42:23.580 bread and wine are turned
00:42:26.180 into the body and blood of
00:42:28.060 jesus christ and people you
00:42:31.520 know have laughed at
00:42:32.720 catholics for centuries
00:42:34.360 especially in predominantly
00:42:36.140 protestant cultures for that
00:42:38.380 belief
00:42:38.820 and yet
00:42:41.960 and yet this this i think
00:42:45.960 shows that god does have a
00:42:47.520 poetic sense of humor um it is
00:42:51.680 now required belief that from the
00:42:55.760 appropriate words of a
00:42:56.860 functionary of the state the
00:43:00.180 magical words um a man can be
00:43:04.120 turned
00:43:04.700 substance to it could be turned
00:43:08.520 into um a man can be turned to a
00:43:10.160 woman and a woman can be turned
00:43:11.280 into a man just at the words of the
00:43:13.560 state functionary with this
00:43:15.640 signatory of a pen um a
00:43:18.720 transformation so solid you can even
00:43:20.640 take that certificate uh and demand a
00:43:24.900 change to your birth certificate um
00:43:27.500 yes and there's no there's no real
00:43:30.200 there's no there's no there's no
00:43:31.380 cognitive dissonance there people
00:43:33.580 can still at one at the same time
00:43:35.700 laugh at catholics believing in
00:43:38.200 transubstantiation of the the the
00:43:42.060 body and blood of bread and um wine
00:43:45.540 into the body and blood but they're
00:43:47.100 perfectly happy to accept
00:43:48.080 transubstantiation when it comes to
00:43:50.220 gender reassignment that was a pretty
00:43:52.760 profound point that you um like that
00:43:56.060 that you just threw in there okay um
00:43:58.660 quick word once again from birch gold
00:44:02.560 and then we'll go to frank walker who's
00:44:04.840 got some closing uh remarks today for
00:44:09.200 the um for this show about a scandal
00:44:11.840 that reaches to the very height of the
00:44:14.780 jesuit order pope francis's jesuit order
00:44:17.620 one of the best ways to look after your
00:44:19.820 savings is through diversification

00:45:15.060 frank tell me about pedro arrupe he died in
00:45:18.820 1991 he was the general of the jesuit order
00:45:22.120 right the the set traditionally in common
00:45:27.280 parlance considered to be second only to
00:45:30.300 the pope himself tell me about this latest
00:45:33.080 story this sex abuse scandal
00:45:36.620 well he uh yeah he was the top jesuit and
00:45:40.240 he's the one who was credited for converting
00:45:42.440 the jesuits into an operation that was
00:45:45.240 catholic and that formed a lot of young
00:45:47.440 people and good and with good instruction
00:45:49.560 in the good schools into sort of a gay
00:45:53.240 communist apparatus which is what it is
00:45:56.320 today and he was a mentor to pope francis
00:45:59.380 and pope francis has him up for canonization
00:46:01.680 and this whole story is in the context of the
00:46:05.000 fact that he's up for canonization and there
00:46:06.540 are there are many people that are like
00:46:08.600 this that are actually evil people that are
00:46:11.800 up for canonization that's why jenny's story
00:46:13.600 is so good to remember because that's a pr thing
00:46:16.780 that came right from heaven heaven's pr still
00:46:19.360 exists because they'll have to have a kit
00:46:21.060 they'll have to have a miracle for this
00:46:22.460 guy arrupe and they're going to come up
00:46:24.140 with one not not a true one like that one
00:46:26.300 but some other one there was a priest back
00:46:29.440 in the other era where this was more open
00:46:31.380 that was he in a camp he molested a 14
00:46:34.300 year old there were other accusations a letter
00:46:37.880 went to went to the head of the jesuits
00:46:39.780 father rupe asking them to not ordain him
00:46:44.220 it was ignored and it's on record that record
00:46:47.380 exists and he went to be postponed and then
00:46:50.480 ordained they give him the psychiatric treatment
00:46:52.780 and they put him in a high school in the high school
00:46:55.460 he was there a little bit parents keep writing
00:46:57.940 letters about this priest father dickerson who
00:47:00.820 became was ordained and at the high school he was
00:47:03.900 thrown out the uh the head of the local the
00:47:06.420 jesuit that was running these schools he um you
00:47:09.380 know he he wrote about him too and they sent him
00:47:11.460 back to the psychiatric treatment which they used
00:47:13.320 to give everybody there and then they put him in a
00:47:14.940 cathedral in shreveport which which parents
00:47:17.940 complained about there so there's a chain of
00:47:20.800 molestation of rape of boys following this guy
00:47:24.540 everywhere he goes they every time he goes to
00:47:26.780 a new place they don't tell him about the
00:47:28.220 accusations they just talk about it in the heights
00:47:30.720 of the jesuit order and uh and when he was kicked out
00:47:34.160 of the the cathedral at that point they said well we
00:47:38.140 need to give a guy a chance give him a chance and they
00:47:42.740 said that they offered him ten thousand dollars for
00:47:44.760 living expenses and uh i don't it doesn't say whether
00:47:47.800 he got got him or not but um you know he what he was sent
00:47:51.320 up eventually up to nebraska where they didn't uncover
00:47:54.560 this until this lawsuit recently came up in louisiana and and
00:47:58.560 it was around 2018 the time of of the big report from um and uh
00:48:02.560 out of pennsylvania that they really uncovered all this
00:48:05.000 this guy arupe is supposed to become a saint
00:48:08.680 and uh they're they're they're trying to be recommending that they that he
00:48:12.600 doesn't happen um he eventually i think he he wasn't i think he still was a
00:48:18.800 priest until the day he died i don't think they ever did anything about
00:48:22.080 him um this will be a litmus test i think this case one of many
00:48:29.320 that we that we're flagging up on the war room this will be a litmus test to
00:48:33.900 see what kind of pontificate inverted commas
00:48:36.540 pope leo inverted commas is going to be pursuing
00:48:40.320 right there's no requirement no expectation
00:48:43.620 no real great precedent that every single
00:48:47.560 uh leader of the the jesuits is canonized
00:48:51.280 to to canonize someone um of a leader of a religious order who's not a founder is an
00:48:56.700 exceptional very rare act and this is there being no requirement
00:49:01.340 let's see if pope leo follows through on this
00:49:05.740 um you know that that it will be something to watch for
00:49:10.020 as you say he's very close a mentor figure towards
00:49:13.780 the late unlamented pope francis just just tell me one thing that just confirm
00:49:19.860 for us will you one thing that you just mentioned
00:49:22.260 in your analysis of this case did you say that this priest in louisiana
00:49:28.300 who'd who'd been um
00:49:30.540 who'd been um accused of sexually molesting two children was then sent after these accusations
00:49:40.580 was then sent to to be a chaplain at a school
00:49:43.900 yeah did i hear you right yes he worked at a high school and then when he was transferred to
00:49:49.680 uh a cathedral he went over to loyal college and that's when he molested
00:49:53.620 and and raped a 17 year old student there even behind the sacristy i mean he was a
00:49:59.660 a real predator for a long long long time and he was ignored it shows you the protected jesuits
00:50:06.280 the power that they're tied into the evil power that they're tied into
00:50:10.240 going way back you know 50 years like this case
00:50:13.560 um they're just they're like a protected class and i don't think that situation has really changed
00:50:19.160 i i don't i think that the protestant friends should not be let them scandalize them don't don't be
00:50:26.500 scandalized against the church by these people but look to what happened in lords
00:50:31.280 because you can't let people like this drive you out of your faith
00:50:34.720 these things are scandalous they are absolutely obstacles in faith
00:50:40.380 um but you know nothing has changed you asked rhetorically has anything changed
00:50:45.000 nothing has changed because we covered last week on the uh on the show the story
00:50:49.480 of the the the rapist the boy the guy who'd raped a 16 year old boy repeatedly um who's there who
00:50:56.500 was shuffled off to a school and then promoted to be vice chan excuse me chancellor of the diocese
00:51:02.880 and we had the same story going on in the vatican as well in the secretariat of state
00:51:07.160 uh where a guy was found to have an overwhelming amount of child distributing as well distributing
00:51:13.660 child porn he was promoted in the um in the vatican so nothing sadly has changed we'll be keep we'll
00:51:19.940 keep our cynical beady eyes on this frank you're absolutely right the beauty of of what took place
00:51:25.100 in lords is what we should be concentrating and not the diabolical words of the uh and actions of the
00:51:31.520 hierarchs in the catholic church frank walker i thank you folks please go to canon 2 1 2 every day
00:51:37.260 google it put it type it out in full it is suppressed by the google algorithms thanks also
