Stephen K. Bannon's War Room. In this episode, Stephen K. Banno talks about the White House's new immigration executive order, the new immigration law, and how to deal with the growing problem of Sanctuary Cities.
00:01:09.420First off, just to have the European leaders do anything in August, they're adamant.
00:01:16.740They take August off, so they're kind of chapped.
00:01:19.460They got to do that, because President Trump's working seven days a week.
00:01:22.780There's so much positive happening on the economy, so much positive happening on securing our borders and deportations.
00:01:32.320But just President Trump's talking about an executive order for mail-in ballots to stop and make it cease.
00:01:39.400That is the way I'm absolutely convinced after we go through, and they've already started the process of an official adjudication of this,
00:01:47.960that you'll find it was the mail-in ballots more than machines.
00:01:53.060And look, I'm open to the machines, folks.
00:01:54.940I said I was always not a machine guy, but the machines are way too complicated.
00:01:59.980They should be like the cash counters in Vegas, and they're way too complicated.
00:02:02.740I 100% agree with you and all the great technicians and all the great folks that have fought the machine battle for years and years and years.
00:04:01.540Anyway, President Trump has just put out a true social.
00:04:04.840We're going to get Jack Posobiec up by, I have my whole punch list, but I will break because the president of the United States just put out a true social.
00:04:11.920Had a very good meeting with distinguished guests.
00:04:14.120President Zelensky of Ukraine, President Macron of France, President Stubb of Finland, Prime Minister Maloney of Italy, Prime Minister Kurt Starmer of the United Kingdom, Chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Mertz,
00:04:29.280President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, my favorite, she's a beauty, and Secretary General of NATO, Mark Root in the White House, which ended in a further meeting in the Oval Office.
00:04:41.660During the meeting, we discussed security guarantees for Ukraine, which guarantees would be provided by various European countries with a coordination with the United States of America.
00:04:53.500Okay, so we're already two now, a coordination and not troops and not, we're actually part of the security guarantees.
00:05:03.360I'm just reading the president's word here.
00:05:05.740Everyone is very happy about the possibility of peace for Russia and Ukraine.
00:05:10.560At the conclusion of the meetings, I called President Putin and began the arrangements for a meeting at a location to be determined between President Putin and President Zelensky.
00:05:20.360After that meeting takes place, we will have a trilat, whoa, first meeting, so some breaking news here, first meeting is Putin and Zelensky, which Zelensky would never have said that would happen.
00:05:32.180Now he's going to get them two together.
00:05:33.880After that meeting takes place, we will have a trilat, which would be the two presidents plus myself.
00:05:40.140That's the president of the United States, Donald Trump, talking.
00:05:42.040Again, this was a very good early step for a war that has been going on for almost four years.
00:05:48.640Vice President Vance, Secretary of State Rubio, Special Envoy Steve Wicker are coordinating with Russia and Ukraine.
00:05:54.320Thank you for your attention to this matter.
00:05:58.560So met all day, went into the Oval, as President Trump has wanted to do to kind of have a let's have a hot wash up.
00:06:05.100Let's figure out where we are in this thing.
00:06:06.860Looks like they got Putin on the on the phone.
00:06:09.280Right now, folks, I will tell you, and as you know, I've been screaming at the security guarantees since Friday morning before they landed in Alaska.
00:06:19.240And I got to tell you, I feel a little bit better during the meeting.
00:06:25.040We discussed I'm quoting now for the president's true social during the meeting.
00:06:29.200We discussed security guarantees, those in capital letters, by the way, for Ukraine, which guarantees would be provided by the various European countries with a coordination with the United States of America.
00:07:11.860The interpreters are only good as the interpreters are.
00:07:14.020And a lot of times, you know, just in the in the hurry of things, you may be not here because we heard.
00:07:19.320This is why I went kind of nuts Friday morning on security guarantees.
00:07:23.360I knew this would be a big deal, why it was a big deal over the weekend.
00:07:27.280And then even Steve Wyckoff, and I think the world is Steve and President Trump, more importantly, thinks the world has dealt with this guy for a decade after decade after decade.
00:07:47.760Well, the Russians actually from Moscow, one of their official members, they got these kind of official and semi-official information like TASS, others that kind of put out RT, that put out really their state media.
00:08:02.220And they've got this just got put out a while ago.
00:08:28.040We reaffirm our repeatedly stated position on our categorical rejection of any scenarios that envisions the appearance of Ukraine of a military contingent with the participation of NATO countries, which is fraught with an uncontrolled escalation of the conflict with unpredictable consequences.
00:08:49.420Read a statement from the foreign minister against the backstop or certain statements of Western countries regarding the possibilities of sending such a contingent.
00:08:59.880So this is going to be a key negotiation area, right?
00:09:02.980Particularly when you're talking about land, you're talking about the possibility.
00:09:05.860One thing we've warned against is that, and it says right there in the Russian thing, there's so much bitterness and there should be bitterness.
00:09:12.800The people that should be the most bitter, I believe, are the citizens of Ukraine.
00:09:20.220The citizens of Ukraine, the citizenship itself, to me, has shown incredible courage and valor.
00:09:27.720And they've done what they've been asked to do, or in some cases been told to do.
00:09:32.200You know, they believe in the country, and that's fine.
00:09:34.200We've said this is a problem between Russia, two Slavic entities, right, one that believes that historically that this is not even a separate entity at all,
00:09:43.840the other that believes they are with modern history, and they think they've been kind of misled by the West.
00:09:49.840Professor Mersheimer, I think, has done an excellent job of explaining that to people.
00:09:54.520Number one, as he said back in 2014, when Victoria Nuland and this crowd, Hillary Clinton, that whole crowd, basically threw out a democratically elected government.
00:10:10.020Now, when I say democratically elected, it was Putin's.
00:10:13.700Look, it had a strong Russian influence.
00:10:15.840In fact, people even say, hey, the Russians rigged the election.
00:11:39.100Jack Posobiec joins us by phone right now.
00:11:41.140Now, Jack, I just read the president's statement that just came out that said, hey, the security guarantees are European security guarantees with America as a coordinator.
00:11:57.400But the Russians, as you pointed out, and I think only Posobiec's got this, the Russians came out today and said, hey, maybe it's the translation that you guys are not getting.
00:12:07.300But when you talk about security guarantees, that kind of rings like an Article 5 NATO.
00:12:12.840If you put NATO troops in there, it's going to get – this thing could escalate.
00:12:17.160As we said, it's so much vengeance, retribution.
00:12:20.780There's been so many dead, so many wounded.
00:12:23.400They've now officially gave us today the count, 950,000 Russians dead or wounded.
00:12:28.700I think it's almost the same amount President Trump keeps talking about and commenting on a million dead Ukrainian troops dead or wounded.
00:12:38.620And I think the number of civilians is up to 100,000.
00:12:41.720So, Jack Posobiec, you had a pretty big scoop there, sir, in alerting people to the fact that there's a long way for any buy-off and really any part of this deal, sir.
00:12:50.720Well, Steve, I thank you for that, and I think that does come – it should come as no surprise to anyone who's been paying attention to this problem set going all the way back to 2022 when it was the Russians who initially said no Ukraine and NATO.
00:13:07.600And they were the ones raising the issue of seeing American soldiers training alongside Ukrainian soldiers.
00:13:14.500We later found out about a dozen or so CIA bases that were operating on Ukrainian soil alongside the border with Russia because they understand that when Victoria Nuland – and if you have to understand, Victoria Nuland and the previous members of the administration turned this meat grinder on.
00:13:33.280They always viewed Ukraine as not a country but as a launching platform for regime change operations within Russia, whether that be color revolution, civil war, or others.
00:13:44.720That's always been their overall plan.
00:13:48.800And so when the Russians see American troops going into Ukraine, that's something that certainly sparked their skepticism, to say the least.
00:13:57.240So it doesn't surprise me that they would have come out and said, absolutely not.
00:14:00.240Plus, by the way, the MAGA base, the MAGA base, the American First Base, wants no part of another war that has nothing to do with our borders.
00:14:07.920But by the way, Steve, I just wanted to call out – I'm not sure if you've seen this yet – the Financial Times is now reporting an exclusive document.
00:14:16.720They're saying they've got the deal that Zelensky brought in with him to the White House and presented to President Trump today.
00:14:24.000And he's asking for $300 billion in war reparations from Russia.
00:14:55.600We never did it to the fascists in Italy.
00:14:57.460We only stole the assets of the Russian people.
00:14:59.980Yeah, that would be the same people that sacrificed 65 million dead in World War II as our ally and our principal allies, I might remind everybody.
00:15:09.100Not the Bolsheviks, the murderous Bolsheviks.
00:15:11.340I want to go – something also they said of the three – but he also tossed $100 billion weapons purchase from the United States.
00:15:21.580Unfortunately, we've got to put the money up, but he'll buy $100 billion worth of weapons.
00:15:29.840But I want to go back to what President Trump just put up, Jack, because you kind of get a better feel for this.
00:15:34.020He said – and I think this is the one difference, and this is Trump as dealmaker – that what they've agreed to in the Oval and having these calls and talking to Putin, you know, the parental supervision on the chaperones, that they're going to have a – they're actually going to have a meeting just between Zelensky and Putin, a bilat.
00:15:56.260And then if that goes accordingly, then they'll have a trilat with President Trump as a third hand.
00:16:08.640We've not seen, to my mind, even going back to the Minsk Accords, even going back to pre-Zelensky taking office, we've never seen a direct meeting between the leader of Ukraine and the leader of Russia.
00:16:24.040And I certainly can see a lot of fraught skepticism from a security perspective, both of these countries.
00:16:32.880I mean, this has been an incredibly brutal war with assassinations after assassinations playing – I mean, they killed Alexander Dugan's daughter, for example.
00:16:41.960So it's been an incredibly brutal assassination campaign with going after civilians, a lot of civilians being killed on both sides here.
00:16:49.020So to see the two leaders meeting one-on-one I think would be absolutely remarkable, given how personal this fight has been and how much animosity there has been between the two sides.
00:17:04.340He's the only one who could actually broker something like that.
00:17:07.180And it remains – it does seem as though that's a separate meeting from this trilateral meeting, unless, of course, maybe it's one of the situations where he's going to be – because it doesn't – just given the way he's written the tweet, and I don't have anything outside of this.
00:17:23.160I'm going to work my source chain in a minute here when we get off the show.
00:17:26.980But it seems as though that seems to be a separate meeting from the meeting of the three of them.
00:17:42.960I mean, one of the things that's pretty obvious, right, he considers himself like part of the G8.
00:17:49.060Now, he's been sent out, so he sees the equivalent of the president of France or the head of Germany or the head of the United Kingdom or president of the United States as at least representatives of their countries or their nation states.
00:18:03.200And he really thinks she, President Trump and himself are the three great powers existing in the world.
00:18:08.520How did the president of the United States talk Putin into actually sitting down with Zelensky and giving – that's a major – that is a major status move for Zelensky to actually be in a meeting one-on-one with Putin representing Ukraine and representing the issues in Ukraine,
00:18:29.600particularly when they're still seem like they're pretty far apart on a lot of these fundamental issues like security guarantees, like land, like you keep mentioning,
00:18:39.320where the – if the Russian army is to back up or if they stop right at the Dnepr River.
00:18:43.860However, how does Putin give a status boost to Zelensky, a former actor, right, and comedian, when, you know, Putin comes out of the KGB and those guys are pretty – they're pretty formal, sir?
00:19:01.180Well, Steve, not only that, but I'd point out that there's been – there have been a few statements that have come out from not high-level,
00:19:08.140but media – I would say mid-tier Kremlin officials pointing out again and again that Zelensky is beyond his legal remit, his legal mandate in office.
00:19:17.980And so the Russians have brought up the legalistic – and Kremlin bureaucracy is famously legalistic – bringing up the question of whether or not he has legitimacy to sign any documents with the Kremlin or the United States.
00:19:33.700So huge legitimacy boost for President Zelensky and, all by the way, President Trump had mentioned this earlier, sort of made a joke about it,
00:19:43.040talking about the fact that Zelensky will have to stand for elections once the cessation of hostilities takes place because martial law will end and his term has ended.
00:19:54.000Of course, President Trump making that joke that's going all over left-wing Twitter today saying,
00:19:58.140so all I have to do is start a war and I could stay in office indefinitely then. Interesting.
00:20:02.020And so it really is – I guess, Steve, when it comes to this, all I'll say is we are getting these very carefully worded statements out from President Trump,
00:20:13.000but there are the things that he is revealing to us, and I think there's a whole lot more that he has not yet revealed in terms of these negotiations.
00:20:22.900We're just seeing the tip of the iceberg.
00:20:24.760And when President Trump is in deal mode, that's when you know he's not going to show all of his cards until the appropriate moment.
00:20:34.320I certainly wish we had not raised the flag up on alternative number five for Trump 20 – I'm just kidding.
00:20:43.580Let's make media go through a full meltdown right now.
00:20:47.620Jack, I want to go back before I lose you, and I appreciate you calling by phone.
00:20:50.820I want to go back to what the Russians said earlier about the security guarantees in the very careful way that the president of the United States just put it as Truth Social.
00:21:01.560Talking about they were in the Oval Office after the larger meeting, and he said that the security guarantee would come from basically the nations of Europe,
00:21:09.880from the European Union, with coordination by the United States of America.
00:21:48.520So what it seems to me, Steve, is that I think this idea has been in the works for a couple of weeks now.
00:21:55.620We've, of course – do you remember when they were talking about that army of the EU a few years ago?
00:22:01.220This certainly was an idea under Angela Merkel and others.
00:22:04.720I think what we're seeing here is the countries that are making the security guarantee are the ones that were in the room, and the countries that weren't there are the ones – are not going to be participating in this, or at least it's going to be an incredibly controversial part of that.
00:22:24.240They're not referring to the EU directly.
00:22:27.620They're calling themselves the coalition of the willing, and certainly you've got representatives of NATO and representatives of the EU, Mark Root and Ursula von der Leyen who are there, but it's not a full representation.
00:22:38.980So it seems to be that those are the countries that are going to be covering down on the brunt of whatever the security guarantee ends up being.
00:22:46.880And I think this is probably – I think this is probably what has been cooking up and is yet to be revealed probably until this true social post.
00:22:58.820So Macron's been working on something.
00:23:00.580This is where – and, of course, the EU does have this situation, but if you become a member of the EU, you get a security guarantee.
00:26:47.580We're going to talk about how you've been at the tip of the spear on all these important items and events over the last couple of days.
00:26:55.820Brian Glenn, Brian Harrison, next in the War Room.
00:26:59.580This July, there is a global summit of BRICS nations in Rio de Janeiro.
00:27:14.980The bloc of emerging superpowers, including China, Russia, India, and Persia, are meeting with the goal of displacing the United States dollar as the global currency.
00:27:28.540As BRICS nations push forward with their plans, global demand for U.S. dollars will decrease, bringing down the value of the dollar in your savings.
00:27:37.100While this transition won't not happen overnight, but trust me, it's going to start in Rio.
00:27:43.180The Rio reset in July marks a pivotal moment when BRICS objectives move decisively from a theoretical possibility towards an inevitable reality.

00:32:47.000The cover bid to actually get the directorship.
00:32:51.240Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey is now becoming the co-deputy director of the FBI who will work alongside Deputy Director Dan Bongino.
00:33:15.120And this is how significant a force Brian Glenn's becoming on the White House press corps, correspondence corps.
00:33:25.480Brian asks, he's not trying to be cute.
00:33:28.240He's always asking a question that has a point to it.
00:33:33.020And the president, you can tell, responds to these questions and gives in-depth answers.
00:33:37.240Today, for almost five minutes, Brian Glenn controlled the floor in the Oval Office with the President of the United States and President Zelensky.
00:33:46.880Let's go to it, play it, and then we'll bring in the one and only Brian Glenn.
00:34:39.540We need, maybe, how to say it, we need a truth, yes, everywhere, in the battlefield, in the sky, in the sea, yeah, to make possible for people to do democratic, open, legal, legal elections.
00:34:53.560You pushed out on social media about doing away with mail-in ballots and potentially electronic voting machines.
00:35:04.680Can you explain on that and how important that is?
00:35:05.860Well, that's a very off topic, just really quickly.
00:35:10.700Mail-in ballots, you can never have a real democracy with mail-in ballots.
00:35:15.980And we, as a Republican Party, are going to do everything possible that we get rid of mail-in ballots.
00:35:22.560We're going to start with an executive order that's being written right now by the best lawyers in the country to end mail-in ballots, because they're corrupt.
00:35:31.840And you know that we're the only country in the world, I believe, I may be wrong, but just about, the only country in the world that uses it because of what's happened.
00:36:25.940If you have mail-in vote, even Jimmy Carter with this commission, they set it up.
00:36:30.000He said, the one thing about mail-in voting, you will never have an honest election if you have mail-in.
00:36:34.760And it's time that the Republicans get tough and stop it, because the Democrats want it.
00:36:40.760It's the only way they can get elected, because with men and women's sports and with transgender for everybody and open borders and all of the horrible things.
00:36:50.040And now the new thing is they love crime.
00:36:52.540They're fighting me on the fact that I've made Washington, D.C. safe.
00:36:58.020We're not going to get mugged, beaten up, or killed like all the people you've been watching get so badly hurt.
00:39:21.260Those providing material support to human rights abusers face sanctions, risk themselves.
00:39:28.900That is dropping the hammer right there on the demon in Brazil that's trying to put President Bolsonaro in prison for life and have him assassinated.
00:39:37.580So right there, the State Department, finally, congratulations to Eduardo Bolsonaro and everyone here in the United States that's working with Eduardo on this, a major blockbuster coming out from the State Department.
00:39:49.660I'll get that up, and I'll have commentary on Getter as soon as the show's over.
00:39:54.200But just absolutely, absolutely extraordinary.
00:39:56.800Brian Glenn, put us in the Oval Office there.
00:39:59.020You actually broke the tension, I think, because you could cut the tension with a knife until you got into that repartee with President Zelensky.
00:40:07.200And I might say good on you because you've got a lead story, I think, in the New York Post with your name in the headlines, sir.
00:41:01.800But then I think the big question of the day, Steve, that President Trump pushed out earlier this morning was about the elections and about the mail-in ballots and the electronic voting machines, which has been a huge thing ever since 2020 election.
00:41:15.280And I kind of feel like at first that he didn't want to answer it because it was off topic.
00:41:20.300But, boy, did he spend a good three, four minutes just on mail-in ballots.
00:41:29.840In fact, Brian, I was going through a punch list earlier at the top of the 6 o'clock hour of stories we have not been able to cover, right, and things that are happening.
00:41:38.600The mail-in ballots, the federal takeover of Washington, D.C.
00:41:58.140He's running for president of the United States on getting a redistricting done in California that is able to thwart what we're doing, what everybody else is trying to do, so that then can impeach President Trump after midterm election.
00:42:09.980He'll run for president of the United States in that.
00:42:11.620Also, everything that's going on in the southern border and preparing for military action against the cartels.
00:42:17.400You're seeing it coming out of Pete Hex as the defense.
00:42:20.640We've sent or we've assigned an amphibious group to SOUTHCOM, which is in control of Latin America and South America for American defense, and also appointed to them, attached to them, the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Force.
