Bannon's War Room - WarRoom Battleground EP 915： President Trump Unveils The Golden Fleet Cont.

00:00:00.000 which is them the democrats fault they'll try and blame republic has nothing to do with us it's the

00:00:04.700 democrats fault what i want to do is we spend hundreds of billions of dollars a year that go

00:00:11.480 to insurance companies i want that money to go to the people and let the people buy their own

00:00:17.120 health care and everybody loves it it's become our issue now before i do that i'll meet with

00:00:25.500 the insurance companies just as i met with the drug companies as you know we're meeting with

00:00:29.760 four other drug companies johnson and johnson but they've all agreed okay this is war room we're

00:00:35.120 passing the baton over on rav to john solomon and just the news we're going to continue on the war

00:00:40.560 room uh channel here we're going to continue the press conference and captain finnell

00:00:44.600 natalie winters will join us immediately after the president answers questions

00:00:48.360 nobody thought that was possible i don't think any other president ever tried to get it because

00:00:54.980 they never thought they could but with respect to the insurance companies i want to meet there's

00:01:00.200 essentially 14 of them 10 big but there's a total of 14 pretty much oh pretty big and i want to meet

00:01:07.080 with them and i want to say i want you to cut your rates way down way way down and maybe if they do that

00:01:12.020 we'll be able to not cut them out we'll be able to continue to deal with them

00:01:16.520 which is probably a little easier process i think the best process is pay the money directly to the people

00:01:23.580 let them buy their own health care but i'm going to meet with them the first week back i do it now

00:01:29.720 but they're trying to come up with a schedule they want to they want to meet badly they've told me

00:01:34.820 but they want to come up with a schedule i said make it a good schedule your rates have to come way down

00:01:40.360 we're also going to meet with other insurance companies because under biden the insurance rates

00:01:45.180 have gone through the roof auto insurance home insurance i mean insurance companies are making

00:01:51.800 far more than they're entitled to make so we're going to be doing that but just in the meantime

00:01:57.440 we'll be meeting with the insurance companies in the first week the first few days back

00:02:02.700 in washington because they're trying to come up with a proposal that will satisfy me thank you very

00:02:07.840 much everybody appreciate it i hope you're going to enjoy the battleships they're going to be beautiful

00:02:12.260 thank you and have a great christmas if i don't speak to you thank you very much

00:02:17.040 thank you very much

00:02:19.480 right there the president united states secretary war secretary neighbor phelan uh secretary of state

00:02:32.520 marco rubio a massive new shipbuilding program uh just announced uh i'm gonna bring in captain finnell

00:02:39.100 so captain given that you're one of the world's leading experts in this and you've been a huge

00:02:43.940 advocate for basically it was like a punch list of what captain jim finnell has been arguing for

00:02:49.100 on the worm over the last couple of years give us your assessment what what first off what was

00:02:53.620 actually announced and how does that fit into kind of the the architecture of how you see

00:02:58.180 returning uh the united states to be a global naval power well the specific announcement steve was for

00:03:05.460 this new uh battleship class the trump class and the announcement that two ships would be built from

00:03:13.500 this class in the next two and a half years and that these ships these battleships would be 100 0.68

00:03:20.100 times more capable than our previous battleships that we had uh in world war ii the iowa class which

00:03:27.180 you remember from your time in service i still remember seeing an iowa class battleship fire a full

00:03:33.140 broadside what will be different now is that they'll be much the same size as the old ones maybe a little

00:03:40.420 bit bigger uh they'll have as the president said they're going to be made from steel thick steel so

00:03:45.960 they're going to be survivable he talked about sturdy and survivability and then he talked about this

00:03:51.480 hundred times more powerful uh which means they're going to have a lot of vertical launch cell tubes our 0.96

00:03:57.620 early burke class destroyers have 96 uh cells uh so this would probably have you know hundreds of 0.98

00:04:06.180 more cells uh to be able to launch these long-range anti-ship cruise missiles that are going to go at

00:04:12.500 supersonic or even hypersonic speeds along with the guns he mentioned guns that are going to have

00:04:18.580 turrets and guns they're going to be able to fire not just uh kind of shells like the nine inch uh

00:04:24.340 uh or 16 inch guns that we had the nine 16 inch guns that the iowa class had but it'll have

00:04:30.920 the ability to fire uh rail guns lasers and then again other kinds of munitions that are going to

00:04:38.340 have much longer range than the old uh 16 inch shells which were about 26 miles so we're going to

00:04:43.660 have we're talking about a long way away and i think the secretary of the navy was i was really

00:04:48.600 pleased with uh sec nef thalon's uh statements he really as you said he went down this list of things

00:04:55.380 that we've been really banging on for 20 years about what we need to do and the biggest thing that he said

00:05:00.240 was we are going to go after the uh we're not just going to swat down arrows we're going to go after

00:05:05.940 the archer and then put that in vernacular he's talking about war at sea we're going to go after

00:05:11.920 those ships that can sink us and we're not just going to have uh ships that go to sea that just

00:05:18.440 protect themselves by shooting down incoming missiles so for the last 35 years we've been focused on

00:05:24.420 power projection ashore in places like iraq and afghanistan and then this kind of defense

00:05:30.220 uh you know defending against incoming uh air launch missiles but we haven't really thought

00:05:36.580 about what does it mean to go after other navy fleets because there hadn't been a peer competitor

00:05:41.780 naval fleet since the soviet navy went away in you know when the the soviets collapsed in 91 so we've

00:05:49.740 been 35 years 34 years of not having a peer competitor but in that time the prc the people's liberation

00:05:57.140 army navy has built themselves into a peer competitor and what i heard tonight was a president

00:06:03.280 who's preaching from the bully pulpit as we've been asking for and then what's different than his first

00:06:09.480 administration i think he had the same desires in his first administration but he didn't have a team

00:06:14.900 he didn't have the right people around him and they were not able to execute they did some things i'm

00:06:20.700 not they reversed the decline that obama had really done and biden continued they stopped that in his

00:06:27.440 first administration but i think now they've spent the last 10 months with this office of shipbuilding

00:06:32.940 and these new plans for these new systems and this outlook of hey we have to fight and win wars at sea

00:06:39.520 and i was very glad to hear the comments about survivability fighting and winning shooting the

00:06:46.140 archer not just swatting down arrows the idea that we're going to build and continue to build

00:06:51.180 aircraft carriers was also very welcome to my ears uh along with these battleships and he used the phrase

00:06:58.320 battle groups you know when you were in the navy uh and when i joined the navy we had carrier battle

00:07:04.500 groups cvbgs and in 2004 when i was on board the uss kitty hawk out in japan the u.s navy changed the

00:07:11.960 naming structure and called them carrier strike groups and i have a feeling we're going to go

00:07:16.120 back to the nomenclature of carry or battle groups whether they're battleship battle groups or carrier

00:07:20.940 battle groups but we're going to be into this mindset of we're fighting wars at sea and so what

00:07:28.680 i would like to hear from the secretary of the war in the future is he always talks about the warrior

00:07:33.640 ethos which is very important for the the war department let's start talking about what is

00:07:39.000 the warrior ethos mean in the naval and maritime arena because it's not the same as in the land

00:07:46.160 arena with grunts going ashore or grunts running around in the desert of the jungles and fighting

00:07:51.840 land war there is a warrior ethos at sea and that needs to be built as well and i think the secretary

00:07:57.760 of navy and this new leadership will get around to that but that needs to be discussed as well and then

00:08:03.080 obviously the big thing is the people to be able to build this so the president was asked that question

00:08:09.740 he was asked if you looked at all those questions 80 90 of the questions had nothing to do with what

00:08:15.200 this press conference is about which is kind of typical but it shows you how this nation and our

00:08:20.460 reporters and the press don't understand naval warfare at all so we have more education to do with

00:08:26.320 the press to get them to focus on what this is all about and one question was what about people

00:08:32.080 where are you going to get the workforce and so one of the things that we can do is we can get the

00:08:36.600 veterans administration to start opening up avenues for veterans to be able to go back and get

00:08:42.600 you know shipbuilding welding those kind of degrees on their gi bills and things of that nature that kind

00:08:49.400 of creativity along with using artificial intelligence and robotics so we're going to need people as the

00:08:55.080 president said and we're going to need smart to use our construction techniques to the new 21st century

00:09:01.460 like we see the chinese doing we need to get on board with those kind of building tactics and 1.00

00:09:07.500 techniques and and procedures so there's a lot of work to be done i'm very excited this is exactly

00:09:13.080 what i've been asking for i'm very very happy it's an early christmas present but we need to make

00:09:19.400 sure that we execute so it's all about like you say i two two two two two things i i love the fact

00:09:26.520 he said surface warfare officer of course we've talked many times i've told the audience the

00:09:29.860 president loves victory at sea he mentioned that they're uh getting back i actually love the fact

00:09:34.880 and already some of my shipmates uh on the paul f foster i'd love the fact he's naming it the uss

00:09:41.520 defiant uh they're they're still you know saying hey we ought to name them after naval heroes and i

00:09:46.720 realize there's a lot of room for that but i kind of got turned off when they started naming them

00:09:50.440 after u.s senators and quite frankly i'm not a huge believer in even naming the carriers after

00:09:55.520 presidents i think you ought to you know when i was in the service there was the kitty hawk in the

00:09:59.980 yorktown and lexington right you had these uh tremendous uh uh carriers uh of lineage so um i'm old

00:10:08.100 school that way we've had a we got to face facts though we've had a terrible track record the

00:10:14.640 united states navy and particularly the combatants we've had a terrible track record

00:10:18.120 i don't know 20 last 20 25 years we built the littoral ships we've had classes of uh i think

00:10:24.580 it's friggin's a cruiser that just don't work it's like we lost our ability as a maritime power we lost

00:10:30.920 our ability to actually be naval engineers naval architects to actually construct these and some

00:10:36.920 have been told disasters even the concept that littoral ships correct me if you're wrong they were

00:10:40.740 kind of built uh for the close-end warfare around the china coast and they've turned out to be an

00:10:46.520 absolute disaster do you still have confidence given the quite frankly the the suboptimal track record

00:10:53.020 of the navy and the defense department and the american shipbuilding community to actually build

00:10:57.400 cutting-edge combatants sir i think we have the engineers that can build that can design these

00:11:04.760 things and do them uh but i think what needs to happen and what hasn't happened over the last

00:11:09.780 30 years with the littoral combat ship and the zone wall class and the failures with the ford to get her

00:11:16.100 out it took over a decade and and the consolation class those failures are are horrific and guess what

00:11:23.860 nobody paid a price for it so what the president and the secretary of the navy need to say to these

00:11:29.580 folks at nav c and and and these other organizations inside the navy hey you have to get this done and

00:11:36.480 if you don't produce and if you start doing the your typical cost overruns and adding on this and

00:11:41.680 adding on that and trying to delay this you're out we need people to produce and we don't need

00:11:47.160 excuses anymore so it's time for people to perform inside the navy architecture and if they don't perform

00:11:54.200 then they got to get rid of them just like general marshall got rid of the non-performers before

00:11:59.200 world war ii inside the army it has to happen we can't just let me pass people along anymore it's not

00:12:05.440 it's not acceptable to take a kid and can't read and pass them on to high school out of grade school

00:12:10.860 okay warfare is uh about choices and and hard choices here you've had the national strategy memo the

00:12:20.140 national security strategy memo came out we're going to get pete's hexa secretary wards required

00:12:24.820 by law i think in 30 days to put out the military context of that so we've we've have an overall

00:12:29.420 strategy and it's quite different than we've had before i was very proud in president trump's first

00:12:34.360 term we kind of put the global war and terror not on the back burner but kind of placed and talked

00:12:38.640 about the great power struggle particularly with the chinese communist party it's first time it really

00:12:43.060 been addressed like that now you've gone to even another cut of that where you're talking about

00:12:47.020 hemispheric defense you know greenland uh the panama canal uh increase in navy uh europe's really

00:12:53.620 back all the way to like i said page 29 of a 33 page document but there's trade-offs captain we we just

00:13:00.540 passed an ndaa i think is roughly going to be if you add everything up over a trillion dollars defense

00:13:05.060 budget we're running two trillion dollars a year in uh in deficits you've got you still got big army uh

00:13:12.440 the marine corps is under tremendous pressure right now uh to to you know come up with a new mission

00:13:17.560 they're all over the marines the great marine corps the air force has got requirements i mean you're

00:13:22.400 going to have to make if you if you have this shipbuilding program and and i will tell you right 0.99

00:13:26.300 now this announcement today struck less fear in the in our existential threat uh enemy in beijing

00:13:35.520 than it did in the army in the air force senior cadre of officers in the pentagon because now they're

00:13:41.560 going to be fighting for now they're going to be fighting for resources where are you going to

00:13:45.380 make understanding we can't have we don't have an unlimited defense budget uh where do you think

00:13:50.380 these change you know where where are we going to find the money oh it's it's easy there's a lot of

00:13:56.280 legacy stuff we just read today that the the pentagon failed its eighth uh audit in the last eight years

00:14:04.000 uh so we have fraud waste and abuse we have programs that don't need to be in existence today

00:14:11.740 they're in mostly inside the land warfare arena so while we need to have a standing army we do not

00:14:19.140 need to have the size and the scope of the army that we have today people and and you've mentioned it

00:14:25.960 many many times on your show americans are not into invading other nations anymore we want to

00:14:33.940 defend our homeland hemispheric defense and then we want to have the capacity to do that and that

00:14:40.040 requires having a navy and our navy as i've mentioned over and over again has been gutted cut in half from

00:14:46.220 1986 until today 600 ships to under 300 ships that's not acceptable so it's not a partisan thing to say

00:14:54.560 zero out some of these army programs that's not partisan that is called national security so the

00:15:01.120 president's going to have to get involved with some of these army folks and he's going to have to cut

00:15:05.620 some of these programs and the scope of them because they're pouring billions into them and every time

00:15:11.120 we take a billion out of an army program it's got to get pushed in to the shipbuilding program of the 0.98

00:15:16.760 united states of america and as it was made known in this press conference today that in turn turns into

00:15:22.580 jobs for americans all kinds of new jobs high paying jobs respectable jobs careers that can make

00:15:31.520 people uh proud to be americans again and can build up our national security um so i think it's going to

00:15:39.200 it's going to come across partisan and there's going to be a great as you said they're they're the ones

00:15:43.420 that are probably worrying the most now uh and there'll be a pushback and a campaign we just saw

00:15:48.580 general flynn's brother was interviewed on epic times in the last two weeks and he actually said

00:15:55.100 i mean i don't know him personally i know general flynn respect him highly his brother as well but he

00:16:01.220 actually said we got to quit looking at the western pacific as a blue theater it needs to be looked at

00:16:06.780 as in kind of a an army centric way and we need to have the army they're leading on this that that's

00:16:12.020 this respectfully that's not right and it's not true and the fight that the chinese have been 0.57

00:16:17.940 building the military they've been building is a military to defeat our navy and we need to have

00:16:23.360 a navy that can that can punch back against that and make sure that our western and eastern shores

00:16:29.360 of the west coast of america and the atlantic because the chinese are pushing into the atlantic 1.00

00:16:34.480 are not under assault from the chinese navy and if we don't do something now they will be like the 1.00

00:16:41.040 soviets were in in the late 80s and they were having you know boomers sitting off our coast 1.00

00:16:47.420 i will just tell you the like i said the biggest i have a lot of respect for general flynn's

00:16:53.580 brother but the whole strategy of how you're going to go about it this is why the military

00:16:57.100 strategy coming out from pete in the next week or two is so important to implement that some of the

00:17:01.580 biggest fights you're going to have is in the pentagon amongst our own services i just remember

00:17:05.640 when i was a young naval officer we went to the western pacific and then our second deployment we were

00:17:11.160 in the persian gulf in the north arabian sea where the united states navy really had never been

00:17:15.340 because of the hostage crisis uh that was a navy that was i don't know i think we had 270 ships

00:17:20.760 it was the carter navy and i came back and went to work for the chief of naval operations uh 090 one of

00:17:27.720 his deputies and we got the mandate from the president to build a 600 ship navy and the fights inside the

00:17:33.980 pentagon because those resources the defense budget was going to increase but it was a huge fight

00:17:38.660 for resources at the time it was pretty intense the one thing i remember though um captain is that

00:17:46.520 the industrial base of the united states the american worker the we were still a superpower in

00:17:52.080 manufacturing you had a highly educated workforce and i don't mean people that had college degrees

00:17:57.980 and phds but i mean people had come up to a system of being artisans and craftsmen uh you you really had

00:18:04.720 an industrial base i mean peter navarro is going to come on tomorrow talk about saving the philadelphia

00:18:08.260 philadelphia naval shipyard you just don't have that today so where are you going to build these i

00:18:13.220 mean how are you going to build this we're very good don't get me wrong at building submarines we're

00:18:17.860 still by far the best in the world fast attack and ballistic missiles we can still build aircraft

00:18:22.980 carriers although you mentioned i think the ford was a decade late in arriving in massive cost

00:18:28.960 overruns just given the fact of our limitations and the fact that we just don't have the workforce

00:18:33.940 that we used to have and the president you know president trump he's action action action he goes

00:18:38.380 i want two in the next two years i'm i think we're ordering another nine or ten and eventually 25 of

00:18:44.700 just this class and he's got a lot more ideas you can tell there where and how you're going to build

00:18:49.600 these let's say you got the naval architects and the engineers so we don't make the mistakes we've had

00:18:53.760 in these other classes i ship let's say you get that part done let's say you fight the fight you

00:18:58.400 figure out where the resources how is the united states of america given what we've done to our

00:19:02.480 workforce in our industrial base where are we going to build them well the shipyards have to be 0.82

00:19:09.100 acquired so we need more shipyards one uh two um building ships the way we built ships in you know

00:19:17.200 after the 1942 ocean navy act where you had you know rosie the riveter and welders and all these manual

00:19:24.380 humans in the loop uh that those days are can be transformed with artificial intelligence and robotics

00:19:32.040 and so one of the things that our shipbuilding industry is behind on lagging the rest of the

00:19:37.600 world except for in specialty areas like you said in nuclear submarine production uh where there's still

00:19:43.760 a lot of humans involved uh is we don't use that kind of latest technology and so we need to get

00:19:49.720 the kind of the silicon valley arena into this arena of shipbuilding and bring them together to

00:19:57.220 speed up that process so that we can have uh concurrent modular building in different locations

00:20:04.040 and then have these things assembled by uh you know robots and and other things that can automate it

00:20:10.720 so there's a lot of work uh to be done there i know that newport new shipyard has been working

00:20:16.460 towards that over the last 10 years they've been in in looking at it but it needs to go into hyperdrive

00:20:22.220 now and so i think this is one of the challenges it's it's not going to be easy uh but you know

00:20:27.920 the first step on a journey or is always the first step so we need to get going uh we have the

00:20:34.040 presidents put the you know put the guide on out there and we need to follow that and and start

00:20:39.020 marching towards it or sailing towards it and uh and when people say we can't then identify what the

00:20:45.060 can't is and then find the fix to that can't so we need a lot of can do people uh inside the system

00:20:51.760 and uh that's going to be hard no question and we have tried in the past uh but at least under the

00:20:58.780 first trump administration this time i think it's a different agenda now because it's very very clear

00:21:05.820 that the chinese navy is the existential threat to america's national security and we need to have 1.00

00:21:12.900 this fleet so and it sounded like from what i heard from the sec nap he has the he has the agenda of

00:21:19.640 things that he that they haven't just come up with this on a a cocktail napkin back of the napkin

00:21:25.860 no over the weekend this is something they've been thinking about for a year and uh you know just like

00:21:31.320 the thing with the with the command ships we have numbered fleets as you know the seventh fleet is out

00:21:36.700 in japan the sixth fleet is in europe in the middle uh in the mediterranean we have uh the fifth fleet

00:21:42.380 in bahrain we have fourth fleet down in the in the latin america area with the new commander just

00:21:47.660 announced but all of our all of our numbered fleets used to be afloat when i joined the navy

00:21:52.540 today the only really afloat numbered fleet is seventh now six the guys in the med will get upset

00:21:59.040 the the six sometimes goes to sea but really only the one fleet that was afloat was the seventh fleet

00:22:04.700 but it's on a the oldest ship in the navy the uss blue ridge is over 50 years old so what i just heard

00:22:10.340 was we're gonna we're gonna go back and make these battleships our floating command ships we're gonna 0.85

00:22:15.240 put our numbered fleet commanders back at sea we're gonna we're gonna change the culture of the navy and

00:22:21.760 as you change the culture of the navy that demand signal is going to get directly translated across

00:22:27.120 into the shipbuilding industry and our engineers and things of that nature so that's part of this

00:22:32.100 is to energize the guys and gals that are afloat to have them have the kind of the the lead on this

00:22:39.980 is what we need this is why we need it and let's get it done now and i don't think we've had that for

00:22:45.740 quite some time it's all been done inside the beltway coming up with the best solutions for people

00:22:51.640 that are out forward we need to reverse that yep my revered seventh fleet i was a member of that

00:22:58.040 one time the fleet that's always uh always at sea uh captain finnell uh thank you so much i know you

00:23:03.580 put articles up on american greatness where can people uh where can people get the articles

00:23:07.840 uh yeah just i haven't had one up in american greatness for a couple weeks but

00:23:12.760 if i write that's where it'll be otherwise i'm off the net okay okay sir captain finnell thank you so

00:23:20.000 much for staying up late and join us here for the president's big announcement thank you and merry

00:23:25.420 christmas merry christmas sir thank you natalie winters joins us natalie first i'm going to ask

00:23:31.800 you you're you're the you're our beijing watcher um this announcement that president trump and it's

00:23:38.300 deeper than just a class of ships you can tell with a with a huge armada off the coast of venezuela

00:23:44.760 the president then announces today for mar-a-lago which with pete and and and marco there they thought

00:23:50.000 it was going to be we're going to have a christmas bombing of uh caracas uh how do you think

00:23:55.040 this is viewed in beijing right now given the tensions between the two given what we're doing

00:23:59.440 on ai uh how do you think beijing because i can tell you right now in the pentagon the army and the

00:24:04.840 navy or the army and the air force are absolutely furious and there's going to be a massive fight

00:24:08.900 inside the building about the allocation of resources what do you think what do you think's

00:24:12.780 happening in beijing well look i think this is a rejection of managed decline and i think this is

00:24:20.080 a vertical that the chinese communist party has a significant and severe upper hand on and the fact

00:24:26.940 that the pentagon the fact that president trump is so i think vocally trying to push back against that

00:24:33.640 and evidently shepherding resources we got the rhetoric i think we need to make sure that we

00:24:38.860 follow through on this is something that's certainly going to cause i would say fear there i think i would

00:24:45.080 probably tack this on to what the 11.1 billion dollar weapons package that was sent over to taiwan

00:24:50.860 to obviously anything going on from a naval or sea perspective has to do with that area um but i think

00:24:57.520 that to really accurately depict the picture of how advanced china is in terms of the numbers of ships that

00:25:05.280 they have there's some really compelling statistics that i think the audience should should hear

00:25:10.480 if you do it by whole count um just for military vessels china currently outnumbers there at around

00:25:17.620 370 the united states is at around 290 obviously the united states so it goes with tonnage or

00:25:23.920 displacement is the metric where we definitely trounce the chinese communist party when when it comes to 0.79

00:25:29.380 that but the sort of secret with all of those statistics is that that only counts military ships

00:25:35.800 that doesn't count civilian ships coast guard vessels and we obviously know that china operates

00:25:41.260 very heavily under military civil fusion and as you say i'm a beijing watcher it was not too long ago i

00:25:47.340 was in hong kong and i was watching from the window of the hotel over in the harbor a ship rolling in

00:25:53.360 where i turn i was like um is china like invading because it looked like a battleship that was just

00:25:59.560 coming in to you know just an average area of hong kong and it was just a coast guard ship point

00:26:04.960 being that every single chinese vessel that is created it's not just that they're retrofitted but

00:26:10.320 they're created to have military standards so they can at any point they're essentially dormant military

00:26:15.960 vessels much like all of their state-owned enterprises and any company is there can be flipped on and turned

00:26:21.180 into you know a ship that is engaged in war and when you really broaden out the comparison of how many

00:26:28.680 ships we have versus what china has it really is more of an outpacing of about one u.s ship to every

00:26:34.400 20 chinese ships and that number only expands when you start to add more and more whether it's just

00:26:39.960 you know surface combatants and then when you broaden it out to coast guard vessels and i also

00:26:45.240 think that it's really quite concerning when you look at commercial shipping too china accounts for 50

00:26:50.840 to 55 percent of global shipbuilding tonnage where the united states is at 0.2 percent and the united

00:26:57.700 states has lost 70 percent of its shipyards since the cold war building about what was i think one ship

00:27:04.740 every three days during world war ii now it takes us i don't even know how long to get a ship because

00:27:10.620 the defense primes are just busy sucking up money and not showing anything to in return so the fact that

00:27:17.480 the trump administration is choosing to go after this i think is a very serious tell that they mean

00:27:25.680 business again this is just rhetoric we need to see it backed up um but this is i think an area that

00:27:32.820 china has really focused on and deployed resources to become dominant and we've seen it certainly in 0.98

00:27:37.580 the last few years really making sure all their supply chains in this realm are domestic and at home

00:27:43.300 and not at the whim or the mercy of the united states or the rest of the world but i also think that this

00:27:48.420 is very important as we get closer to 2027 often that that year is misquoted is when xi jinping wants

00:27:56.240 to invade taiwan that's just by when they think they can and i think that when you talk about what's

00:28:02.040 going on with the navy at the sea that that is the area that at least we should be talking about i know

00:28:07.220 there's a lot of focus on venezuela but that's what's more important and the last thing i would say

00:28:12.380 because i do think that when you talk about where the flashpoint for the kinetic component of world war

00:28:18.020 three is going to break out sure you could make the case it's ukraine you could make the case it's

00:28:21.240 the middle east you could make the case it's a lot earlier than that but if that maybe the next

00:28:25.380 flashpoint is going to be taiwan i think it's important to understand the political dynamics

00:28:29.940 at home right now in china which is though xi jinping is very strong what he fears most is a military

00:28:36.200 coup or a military takeover and what would i think really create that is if a invasion of taiwan that

00:28:43.700 is supposed to be very stealth and quick did not actually happen basically what you saw

00:28:47.660 happening in russia and ukraine a long protracted conflict is only going to give the chinese 0.99

00:28:52.580 generals that he has been purging over time at a level like we've never seen um this sort of you

00:28:59.260 know pretext um in the conditions to seize power from him so that's why what's going on from a military

00:29:07.480 perspective with regard to the buildup in taiwan is so important because it's not just that it affects

00:29:13.100 u.s china relations i think domestically that is the most powerful kind of arrow in the quiver

00:29:19.580 where you could see any movement on xi jinping you know i think that this is part of this was the

00:29:26.660 statement that we're not only just take it seriously we're going to get out of the littoral

00:29:30.580 ship business and we're going to get i mean president trump was as aggressive as you possibly

00:29:34.100 about combatants we're gonna make these flagships etc so you did a you did a tour both southeast

00:29:39.480 asia and then you had the taiwan and the amazing interview you did for the audience because i don't

00:29:45.480 think people in the states understand that the specter of china of the ccp is all over southeast 0.96

00:29:51.160 asia and obviously it's something they think about in non-stop in taiwan just tell our audience how

00:29:57.160 almost overwhelming is the chinese potential projection of power in that entire region of the 1.00

00:30:02.320 world well let's start with taiwan i mean what we talk about here right the gray zone warfare the

00:30:10.580 hybrid warfare i mean that is the lived reality of of the taiwanese people every single day and i think

00:30:17.320 that the sort of prevailing consensus my kind of assessment too from having spent time there is that

00:30:24.380 the chinese communist party sees that as probably the most viable path forward to take over taiwan because

00:30:29.740 the question is essentially how would the united states get involved if they were to blockade or do

00:30:35.080 anything um sort of more in that realm as opposed to outright kinetic conflict also of course with

00:30:41.460 you know mainland china viewing taiwan as a part of it's not necessarily in their interest to go and

00:30:45.980 kill millions of taiwanese people and like i said i i do think the largest factor that's keeping 0.91

00:30:51.360 xi jinping from doing that is the belief that if it's not a swift victory he really threatens his own

00:30:57.680 political dominance um and ascension so the fact that the united states is is building up is probably

00:31:04.780 really one of the strongest deterrent factors that you see going on there um but the disinformation

00:31:10.900 campaigns the manipulation the cyber attacks everything that they are doing in taiwan i would

00:31:16.660 describe it as a test run or a battleground sort of a petri dish for what they want to do in the united

00:31:21.860 states all the way down to election interference hacking election machines toying with candidates

00:31:27.340 essentially buying off entire political parties making it so you know political candidates over

00:31:33.280 there are actively opposed to taiwan being able to defend itself so the political warfare there has

00:31:38.880 progressed so much further than than what we've seen here which is why i take such an interest in it

00:31:43.660 and i think it's incumbent upon us to learn what is going on over there because if we don't fight to

00:31:49.000 keep out prc influence here that is what america's future will look like um throughout the broader

00:31:55.200 southeast asia asia region which i've now spent a lot of time in over the last few months i mean

00:32:01.100 china china owns it i mean it's perhaps that's a bleak you know black-pilled take um but we've spent so

00:32:09.660 long here right that was always sort of my favorite refrain from my uh my legacy media betters over at the

00:32:15.320 white house that dismantling usa id was coming after american soft power the not so secretive secret in in

00:32:23.520 the room with the room being the world abroad is that american soft power has been kind of absent for

00:32:29.480 a while and american soft power is exporting ideologies that the people on the ground there do

00:32:36.260 not support do not believe in meanwhile china is dealing in belt and road infrastructure ports

00:32:42.200 stealing technology basically importing their people to these third world countries and taking over 1.00

00:32:48.740 the entire economy essentially hacking not just the critical infrastructure but the entire economy

00:32:53.940 cultures and societies of dozens dozens of countries even countries in europe have signed on

00:32:59.820 um to belt and road and i mean you see it i mean i'd encourage people to to actually go over there even

00:33:06.140 you you see it in an hour drive whether it's the countryside or the most urban areas all of the new

00:33:11.940 construction projects that are going on it's all chinese money the rare earth mines that are being built

00:33:17.320 even in countries like lao which of course border china but there's you know negligible infrastructure

00:33:22.640 there it's all chinese and the businesses that are running it they're all chinese they're importing 1.00

00:33:28.020 chinese people to do the work short of it being you know the slave conditions that they have the you know 1.00

00:33:34.360 native population working in um but it it really is quite alarming and deafening to see the kind of 1.00

00:33:44.400 bleak thucydides trap mindset and action whereby it is a world in which china replaces the united states 0.99

00:33:51.520 as the rolling kind of global hegemon um but it's moves like this that give you a little bit of hope

00:33:57.580 that we can push back um but we should not underestimate the pace and rapidity and the

00:34:03.820 iron fist for lack of a better word that china is moving with 0.63

00:34:07.000 natalie hang on because i want to you wrote a piece on your substack that we didn't really have

00:34:13.620 time to fully develop plus there's this piece in the new york times about young people and h1b visas

00:34:17.800 it's the whole question of have we tightened up enough i mean people i think are going to be shocked

00:34:22.360 by your report about this uh what health and human services with the right hand is trying to undo

00:34:28.500 with what stephen miller and others uh are trying christy noem are trying trying to get done on on uh

00:34:35.620 this uh on this still what i call illegal legal immigration or these refugees which is just

00:34:42.740 outrageous at the same time this young generation is waking up to the fact that h1b visas and who's 0.99

00:34:48.140 stealing their jobs natalie winters is going to be with us after the break also admiral sonny masso

00:34:53.860 we're going to continue to get some perspective of this massive uh shift in shipbuilding and

00:35:00.220 strategy under president trump short commercial break take your phone at birch gold text bannon

00:35:36.120 let's see if we can help you with that if we could give yourself one gift this holiday season

00:35:42.780 would it be finally to get some relief from your credit card and other debt i might have a solution

00:35:48.080 here's why now is the time to make a move this time of year credit card and loan companies close

00:35:54.500 out their books they clean up past due accounts they sell a write off the debt to clear their books

00:36:01.160 that means if you have credit card debt and unpaid bills lenders may be more open to negotiating and

00:36:07.620 settling your account before you're in that means right now and i mean right now you may actually

00:36:14.500 have leverage and done with debt knows how to use this to your advantage they monitor lender trends

00:36:21.480 and understand the year-end pressure on creditors they use that timing to negotiate hard on your behalf

00:36:27.980 now's the time to get out from under crushing debt and interest payments without bankruptcy or taking

00:36:35.460 on new loans done with debt goes to work for you month one with one clear goal to reduce your total

00:36:42.740 debt and leave you with more money every month get started now because your leverage may disappear

00:36:50.420 at the end of the year chat with a done with that specialist at done with that.com that's done with

00:36:57.700 that.com done with that.com do it today

00:37:05.460 in this moment in this anthem is living we sing for all the people who never made it home

00:37:20.740 j6 prison choir real american voice new single reach number one i think on saturday and then again

00:37:36.560 on sunday make sure you go to itunes and download it we're in hot competition with mariah carey don't

00:37:42.220 want to lose that one the album's going to be released on uh 6th of january right we're going

00:37:49.080 to try to get a little event going there also a film i'll have a clip from that tomorrow we'll talk

00:37:54.720 about a film that real america's voice uh and parker sig and the team dan floyd put together really very

00:38:01.020 powerful film about all this documentary so natalie where i've got you too you you wrote a piece that i

00:38:06.400 don't think we had enough time to develop we did have you on about about the leakage kind of in the

00:38:10.600 system the right hand's undoing what the left hand's doing about refugees and now you have hhs

00:38:15.720 or paying for a whole program at the same time there's a there's a very important piece in the

00:38:20.240 new york times i want to show grace and mo uh help push it out to all our force multipliers about um

00:38:27.180 the younger generation waking up to the fact of h1bs and and you are all over the article

00:38:32.740 and the worms all over the article because we've been at the forefront of fighting this and i think you

00:38:37.320 may i think your your thing is that hey i think young people have been awake in this before now

00:38:41.940 but compared because it's so frustrating when you read your investigative report

00:38:47.180 on the refugee situation which more billions of dollars going into this this fiasco which they 1.00

00:38:52.380 all got to be shipped out of here and you see these young people once again having to bear the brunt

00:38:58.060 of this h1b scam ma'am well this new york times article is quite interesting we'll give them credit

00:39:06.240 for identifying war room is one of the uh the top and most influential podcasts in the country but i

00:39:11.420 think that's about where their correct assessments and um i love how the legacy media always does this

00:39:17.080 thing where they pretend like nothing is an issue until they finally cover it and then once they cover

00:39:21.500 it they're like wow all these people suddenly care about this random issue that in reality it's been

00:39:26.500 what has animated americans for decades it's sort of the you know trumpian escalator effect where it's like

00:39:32.800 no the republican base would have always voted for a candidate that cared to cease all immigration 0.53

00:39:38.460 it's just they never were actually presented the chance so i would humbly tell the new york times that

00:39:44.760 you should put your article through the fact check process again because you're extremely wrong to

00:39:49.640 suggest that young americans are just now let alone all americans starting to care about the h1b 0.99

00:39:54.740 visa thing it's not just some trend issue or some fad issue it's something that gets to the core

00:40:00.680 of what right-wing populism of what trumpism about which is the idea of what does it mean to be an

00:40:05.240 american citizen steve i know you've talked about the idea of maximizing the value of american

00:40:10.400 citizenship but i think maybe we should just settle on the fact that your government should not be

00:40:14.920 actively working to suppress your wages replace you and destroy your culture let alone with some 0.72

00:40:21.040 third world third rate inferior foreign speaking culture that has absolutely nothing in common 1.00

00:40:26.320 with what we value here in the united states um but i think the interesting angle that they really

00:40:31.480 hook onto is how it's young americans particularly having a kind of bleak economic future but i think

00:40:38.100 the most important part of that steve is what you're talking about is the kids who who do everything

00:40:43.260 right you know what i mean the kids who study as hard as they can only to be rejected from their dream

00:40:48.760 school because they were born a straight white male the kids who do everything right and go to the top

00:40:54.940 colleges which you know having been to one i can tell you you don't learn anything there that's

00:40:58.920 that's worth anything you have to unlearn everything that you learn or just go go work for steve bannon

00:41:03.500 instead that's the path i took um but the kids who go there and study really really hard you know

00:41:08.480 they're turned over for their job at the top firm that they want to go to because they're being

00:41:12.740 replaced by some foreigners and when you look at the statistics of how many americans hold degrees in

00:41:17.200 these advanced fields and how many of them are actually working in them it's like upwards of 50 percent of

00:41:21.760 people who can't even get jobs in these industries yet we're continuing to graduate year after year

00:41:26.500 thousands of people in these fields when there's already a shortage of jobs so i think it's the idea

00:41:31.980 of the good faith american spirit of wanting to do everything right and then your government is making

00:41:37.560 it as such that you literally cannot get a job where young men cannot feel like they can support a

00:41:42.940 family so the new york times obviously they totally missed the forest for the trees but i do think it's

00:41:48.940 interesting that they're finally dabbling and covering this issue because that's how you know

00:41:53.560 that you're starting to hit the critical point where even the legacy media can't ignore it and i also

00:41:58.960 think to sort of link this to what you were talking about the piece that i broke it just shows you how

00:42:03.620 systemic this issue is and frankly the corruption and perversion of what is i think the american civic

00:42:10.740 spirit and idea of community which is first and foremost helping americans putting americans first america

00:42:17.880 first can be humanized as putting americans first and i'm all for helping people but we can't continue

00:42:24.200 to help people from countries who when they get here they don't assimilate and frankly i would take even

00:42:30.580 one percent assimilation we're talking about people that actively hate this country and are committing

00:42:35.100 fraud to the tune of billions of dollars more than the gdp of the country that they came from and i'm

00:42:42.040 looking at you somalia and minnesota and specifically in regard to minnesota the story at the meta level

00:42:49.060 of what i broke is that the office of refugee resettlement which is under the purview of hhs so

00:42:55.060 make sure you tag rfk and anyone who works there on twitter we got to get this story out but they have

00:43:01.040 been deploying as of september the end of september of this year millions of dollars of grants to very

00:43:07.780 far left organizations for refugee resettlement helping to naturalize give citizenship green cards

00:43:14.780 take your pick um to refugees illegal aliens it's sort of nebulous this is included in the united

00:43:20.780 states federal register as you know steve i spend my evenings reading the federal register and this was

00:43:26.380 tucked away in there frankly i think it's hypocritical as the trump administration is talking about how they

00:43:31.320 want to cease immigration um from every country obviously these are rogue bureaucrats doing just that going

00:43:37.180 rogue but we also need to be watching these people blaming the deep state kind of becomes old after a

00:43:43.220 while when we know that we're capable of fixing it because they're just admitting their plans in the

00:43:47.760 federal code that i found within a five minute you know search on the internet um but 2.5 million

00:43:53.740 dollars was given to the community sponsorship hub that's a group in st paul minnesota quite interesting

00:44:00.060 in light of all the fraud investigations we've seen going on there but that group in particular steve

00:44:06.420 is actually a partner of the biden state department though it was originally founded

00:44:11.440 as part of rockefeller philanthropy advisors it gets even better uh you have open society foundation

00:44:17.460 members on their board and all over their website they talk about actively opposing president trump and his

00:44:24.560 immigration restrictionist agenda um but apparently these are people that we are giving millions of

00:44:29.780 dollars to not just to support their organization but to literally help third world refugees that are

00:44:35.800 likely committing fraud um become citizens or stay here longer then this is really going to make the

00:44:42.020 audience i aghast so buckle up for this one this audience is obviously very well aware of catholic

00:44:48.300 charities no shade to the catholics no shade to charity but this is not a charity this is a basically i mean

00:44:54.820 can we call it a human trafficking organization that is responsible for facilitating mass migration and

00:45:00.340 right 4.5 million dollars to catholic charities to help disseminate migrants throughout the entire

00:45:07.180 u.s as as i said running through september of this year to september of next year 4.5 million dollars to

00:45:14.140 the left wing tip of the spear of refugee movement our hhs through the office of refugee resettlement

00:45:20.200 is currently funding that

00:45:21.900 natalie where do we go i want to make sure we push that over to the guys at hhs i mean this is the problem

00:45:29.100 you got some people you know there's another big raid today we'll have more discussion on this

00:45:32.480 tomorrow what they're finding out people are talking about it's nine billion dollars it's eighteen

00:45:35.700 billion dollars yet you still have parts of the government you're right it's like the thing's so

00:45:40.480 vast to to to organize that you've got these bureaucrats that continue to feed their buddies 1.00

00:45:45.500 at whether it's you know lutheran charities or catholic charities or the or the jewish group to work

00:45:50.140 down on the border uh on all these resettlement scams and it's got to stop all of it's got to stop and

00:45:55.220 i realize steven miller and these guys are overwhelmed with what they're trying to do but

00:45:58.820 that's why somebody's got to go through here and say guys if we're going to stop what's happening

00:46:02.660 in minnesota we got to stop what's happening in minnesota where did they go to get this to to push

00:46:07.140 it out ma'am i can go to nataliegwinters.substack.com it's the most recent article i published or you can

00:46:15.100 obviously go to my x anywhere else i have them linked but read the piece and share it and thank you

00:46:20.060 steve for having me on you had a wonderful speech at amfest i think you're going to beat mariah

00:46:23.800 carry on the charts with uh with that one if you if you don't get banned on spotify for posting it

00:46:29.060 ben shapiro the bride at every wedding natalie natalie g winters thank you so much thank you so

00:46:38.520 much for joining us tonight appreciate you natalie winters all over the ccp admiral sonny masso

00:46:45.460 ever we always have admiral masso on here about naval strategy he's got the historical society building

00:46:51.360 the museum so admiral you're a surface warfare officer uh the sir it's not that the navy we got

00:46:57.800 about 10 minutes here i want you to take your time on this it's not that the navy hasn't tried to

00:47:02.440 deal with the surface navy you've had the littoral combat ship you've had the zumball class thing you

00:47:07.620 got the what the constitution class the the aircraft carrier the ford i think was 10 years out

00:47:12.680 why is this announcement today so important given particularly the current history of where our

00:47:18.580 shipbuilding program has been sir well uh thank you for the opportunity to comment on this and

00:47:25.560 we are so excited about the golden fleet uh what what is profound about this is that uh over the past

00:47:33.340 20 years or so i think the navy's been timid in uh asking for what they needed more than for just

00:47:42.000 settling for something that that was just as good uh so i i think the announcement that the president

00:47:49.480 made with respect to the battleship and and everything else is is so spot on and i'd like to

00:47:55.540 give some credit to the director of the omb uh mr russell vote because he is a champion and and he has

00:48:03.720 been inspired by our president but in addition he's assembled a really quality team of experts including a

00:48:11.600 gentleman named jerry hendrix he's written some amazing books and he's a real strategist elbridge

00:48:17.300 colby who's a friend of your program but uh for us this this is something that uh is very exciting to us

00:48:25.900 on so many levels to extend even to the deal the president brokered with finland to help us in the

00:48:33.920 icebreaker business we are icebreakers were coast guard ships polar sea polar star they were more than

00:48:41.300 65 years old they were tired girls did god's work for a continuous amount of time but uh the fins are 1.00

00:48:48.660 going to build us 11 and uh and that's going to be exactly what we need uh to do the things that we

00:48:55.020 need to do as a navy particularly uh up in the pole

00:48:58.880 uh sonny one thing was i struck struck me from mar-a-lago is and i know you and i have talked

00:49:06.220 about this a lot the president's a big fan of the samuel elliott morris and victory at sea that whole

00:49:10.940 thing he he knows this very intimately he's he's a student of kind of naval uh naval uh military history

00:49:18.340 um he was very aggressive in language i mean these are going to be steel hauled as you know the the

00:49:24.980 ship i served on you with our first ship was aluminum you could put put probably a 30-06 through

00:49:29.540 it i mean this was like a throwback to the old navy i've kind of felt like i was listening to

00:49:34.760 admiral nelson there i mean the president could not have been more aggressive about the war fighting

00:49:39.120 capability the combatant capability of this including talking about you know putting the fleets the

00:49:44.500 numbered fleets on these ships as as a float uh command ships your thoughts well you know again as

00:49:52.640 you said it was inspirational and again the navy uh was afraid to ask for something as robust but as

00:50:00.560 necessary uh as this new battleship and command and control platform might be and one of the things

00:50:07.420 that was very inspirational was that he gets okay he gets the fact that uh new weapon systems and thus

00:50:16.020 new propulsion systems on our ships have to be uh designed and and developed so we're talking about

00:50:23.700 bringing hypersonic missiles we're talking about rail gun we're talking about laser guided missiles that

00:50:31.380 will be propelled or given the power generation from uh electric drive propulsions and some unique

00:50:39.220 ways forward so that just as our you know 50 years ago when we when we were on the paula foster the

00:50:46.420 transition was from uh 1200 pound steam to gas turbine and so i think you know we'll see a heuristic

00:50:53.780 approach in propulsion which will allow us to uh fight with new weapons that that are very capable

00:51:01.780 and we'll be able to solve a multitude of problems uh i know that there have been some naval

00:51:07.380 architects and i want to say from some big 10 schools maybe michigan comes to mind but what

00:51:12.660 they're looking at is a unit sail away price on these vessels for somewhere between four and four

00:51:19.060 and a half billion dollars and um the way that i i really am enamored with the president's vision

00:51:26.980 is we're going to lay it out and we're not going to change it ten thousand times we're not going to

00:51:31.700 send it to some smaller shipyard that that has never built a ship of this nature before so we'll

00:51:38.660 probably be laser focused on uh huntington angles general dynamics maybe bath ironworks but uh i i think

00:51:46.580 that we're we're thinking all of the right strategies to prevent issues in the gulf gulf of uh hormuz or

00:51:55.140 uh taiwan straits uh some of those locales this this is going to be a game changer for our navy

00:52:02.820 i just hope that uh we can get this moving along smartly so that it doesn't lose its energy at the

00:52:10.740 end of his uh end of his present term well you know um as you know the president this is his baby so

00:52:18.580 he's running with it uh sunny just share with the art you served on joint commands i said earlier i

00:52:24.260 think that the uh the the fear in the heart that they that this announcement put in beijing

00:52:29.380 is only uh greater in the air force in the uh in the army uh parts of the e-ring in the pentagon

00:52:35.940 right now because there's going to be a massive fight on the allocation of resources give us your

00:52:41.540 best thoughts on that sir well you know i'm not gonna i'm not gonna disabuse the notion that maybe we

00:52:47.780 have too many four stars and you know they they do sort of bump into each other in the in the field

00:52:54.020 um i'm not i don't i'm i'm reluctant to suggest you know what what should be reduced from a four or

00:53:00.340 three-star job but uh it gets crowded in all the combatant command staffs a number of years ago we uh

00:53:09.060 we took out the joint forces command it used to be the atlanta united states atlantic command

00:53:15.380 and it became joint forces command and we sort of uh other than a couple of functions we sort of

00:53:21.460 stood that down and i don't think anybody missed a thing and i would and i served in um ucom centcom

00:53:30.180 uh i haven't the one about the only one was south and northcom i haven't served but i've been uh

00:53:35.620 you know a part of staffs and all these uh locales and i i don't i you know i'm scratching my head

00:53:42.660 wondering uh why that's a bad thing to do uh honestly do you think that do you think the

00:53:49.380 scramble for resources i mean where are we going to get uh where are you going to are you going to

00:53:52.740 take this out of the air force you're going to take it out of the navy's existing budget you're

00:53:57.140 going to take it out of the army how do you actually pay for this this because he's talking

00:54:01.140 about ordering 25 ships right i think an initial order that's coming right away with another nine

00:54:06.900 yeah uh where will it where will it come from uh i honestly don't know but i will say that

00:54:14.500 probably uh in reality it'll be a reallocation when i was the commander of the bureau of naval

00:54:21.380 personnel whenever we would get these pay raises you know they sounded great on paper you know we're

00:54:26.740 going to increase pay 2.5 percent and we've all be celebrating spiking the ball in the end zone but then

00:54:33.300 uh they would come back to me saying well we got to take it out of hide they're not giving us the

00:54:38.340 money for this we have to find it where it where it is so i think there will be some re-priorities

00:54:44.740 now i do know that there will be some heavy investments as there should be in the cyber domain

00:54:50.180 space com uh general salzman has been probably one of our great leaders uh standing up that organization

00:54:57.940 and uh regrettably he's going to be leaving here in a under a year but uh they uh they likely will

00:55:06.740 make an allocation from i think the army will probably see this uh as a hit uh the navy is going

00:55:14.260 to have to redefine you know some of their priorities because i think some of that money is going to come

00:55:18.980 from there and uh and they're going to have to carefully look at uh research and development

00:55:24.980 budgets and things of that nature and hopefully uh with an eye toward acceleration of of doing

00:55:32.180 this faster rather than slower um you know i i i think that that that this could really be a game

00:55:39.700 changer for our our national defense i didn't really answer your question i don't really because

00:55:46.100 because i don't know but um but i i i do believe everyone's going to contribute but the navy is going to

00:55:52.500 be hit the hardest yeah i think the i think the key it's called the trump class and president's

00:55:58.340 going to want action before we go give us a minute or so on uh you have talk talk about the the navy

00:56:05.540 museum what you're working on for the historical uh society well thanks very much uh you know we could

00:56:11.140 use a little bit more support from the navy uh senior leadership but uh we've got an amazing plan

00:56:18.020 to build a museum uh and open the doors around uh 2030 time frame in the in the dc area and uh and

00:56:26.820 we're we've got a number of amazing folks who've contributed already the taylor family from enterprise

00:56:33.780 rental car uh he he uh jack taylor served in the battle of midway and uh they've bequeathed a lot of

00:56:41.940 great uh artifacts for us from the that he's collected from the battle of midway uh dr coke

00:56:49.300 dr bill coke uh he's his passion is the war of 1812 and he's bequeathed an 85 million dollar

00:56:57.940 artifact collection that we're very happy to receive so so what we want to do is tell stories about these

00:57:04.580 events but in addition we want to get into the community and enhance education of high school students

00:57:10.660 sonny where do people go tell us where you get to youtube we got about 30 seconds your youtube and

00:57:16.980 where you go find out more about the museum yeah the naval museum development foundation dot org nmdf.org

00:57:24.660 you can donate you can find out more uh we're real excited very excited and uh it's going to be

00:57:30.900 something everyone's going to be very proud of sir sonny thank you so much we're going to have you back
