islamic jihadis are plotting against you why in the hell you think they're in houston and in north
00:00:13.560
of dallas they are working together to overthrow western civilization sharia compounds which are
00:00:20.420
areas governed by religious rules we know who you are we know what you are and we know what
00:00:26.520
you're trying to accomplish and it is not going to happen in the jewel of the crown of the union
00:00:31.560
of this republic we purge any attempt to impose sharia law in texas they are not coming they are
00:00:38.320
already here you are not here properly and you're going to leave on the 3rd of march sharia law goes
00:00:48.240
on the ballot in the state of texas the united states constitution and sharia are fundamentally
00:00:53.240
odds with one another we're going to tell them take your sharia law and shove it islam will never
00:01:01.360
dominate the united states and by the grace of god it will not dominate texas as texas goes so goes the
00:01:09.660
nation as the nation goes so goes the world are you prepared to fight for this state are you prepared
00:01:16.560
to fight for your country war room texas your host stephen k bannon starts right now it's monday 9
00:01:28.080
february in the year of alert 2026 uh honored to kick off this show we asked him to jump on here uh
00:01:34.580
is attorney general ken paxton uh attorney general paxton we had you on uh i think on friday show we've
00:01:41.640
talked about polling that's coming out you were the ones that tell us hey some of this polling this
00:01:45.280
show's a dead heat you think might be a little off uh in fact you think you've got a real spread
00:01:50.720
on uh on on cornyn there's a poll that just came out from the university of houston that has you with
00:01:57.180
a pretty big lead over cornyn i i can tell you now that we've shifted the show to texas we are curating
00:02:03.600
and watching a lot of local news and a lot of local uh tv stations i i have never seen in my time in
00:02:10.200
politics the amount the gross tonnage of ads that john cornyn's running on television i mean it's and
00:02:16.520
and it comes across as a guy that's not endorsed by president trump like he's living at the white
00:02:21.940
house and he's president trump's best friend uh you are not up on television at least what we can see
00:02:27.800
here but you have a big lead uh in this poll at the university of houston you want to tell us about it
00:02:33.720
yeah it's uh not surprising to me i knew john cornyn could not win a primary he spent at least
00:02:39.300
probably around 60 70 million dollars so far on his way to over 100 million before this whole thing is
00:02:45.800
over and the reason we have a challenge is he is not limited by the 3500 contribution obviously because
00:02:51.940
you can't raise 60 70 million dollars at 3500 a pop so despite all those ads all those negative ads
00:02:58.080
in this made-up fictional character john cornyn who loves general trump totally made up and uh not
00:03:04.140
true and even his positions that he's adopted in the last 10 months are completely the opposite of
00:03:09.680
everything he's stood for for his entire 40 plus years all to get elected all the full full the voters
00:03:15.760
of texas what what is it um it's pretty cynical to think that you can take tv ads because i think modern
00:03:24.180
politics grassroots politics particularly the grassroots in texas understands that it's
00:03:29.460
canvassing it's it's going door to door and you kind of have a legendary get out the vote effort it's
00:03:34.300
pretty cynical to think that you can essentially lie to people by putting up these type of ads why what
00:03:41.800
is that cynicism because we get this from the grassroots all the time that a lot of the political
00:03:46.020
class and particularly guys like senator cornyn uh have a uh just have a very dismissive view of texas
00:03:53.180
citizens and texas grassroots i think he's been in washington so long i mean we're talking about 24
00:03:59.460
years he's been in office since i was in college and i'm 63 i just think he doesn't view the grassroots
00:04:04.880
the actual voters is important his his view is that washington's important i can raise all the money i
00:04:10.280
need to convince these people that he doesn't think are very smart that they that he is a different
00:04:15.240
person than he actually is and that i'm a different person than i actually am and so he cannot get
00:04:20.040
elected in the primary telling the truth otherwise he would do it he would just tell people no i'm not
00:04:24.660
pro-trump no i was against the border ball no i was for him to see no i i sided with joe biden to
00:04:29.680
bring afghan refugees here no i sided with joe biden to uh restrict the second amendment why didn't he
00:04:35.280
just tell us the truth you know why because he knows that the people of texas don't like his position
00:04:39.720
so he lies to it and he uses their money the washington money not our texas money for the most part
00:04:44.740
washington money to do the lies the other thing about this poll it pulled the democrats and i think
00:04:51.600
it was uh i think it's pretty surprising uh jasmine crockett's got a pretty big lead over the uh over
00:04:58.720
the the christian the the christian that thinks that uh believes in choice and thinks that uh what
00:05:05.440
the angel gabriel visiting uh the virgin mary uh in the way was stated in the gospel leads open uh the
00:05:12.640
idea of being pro-choice is in the uh it's actually in the gospels itself he's getting beaten by i think
00:05:19.040
10 points or so did you was that surprising to you no i'm not surprised at all i i mean this guy is such
00:05:25.560
a fraud and and really what did he accomplish been in texas house he's really accomplished nothing in
00:05:31.240
his career and i even the democrats are seeing through that i'm not saying jasmine crockett's a great
00:05:36.160
candidate but i i think she's much better known and much much better liked in the in the democratic
00:05:42.540
voter base what was surprising here one of cornyn and in the senate leadership funds hits on you
00:05:51.120
is that yeah uh you know ken paxton can win a primary because he's a darling of the grassroots and
00:05:59.400
he stood up for him and and the grassroots down in texas are crazy anyway but you get him in a general
00:06:04.320
election you're actually putting in jeopardy the senate seat in texas and going to cost us 200
00:06:09.220
million dollars so we're going to lose all these other states if ken paxton wins actually this poll
00:06:14.140
showed you actually beating cornyn against democrats what do you how so how do they use
00:06:20.300
how did they use that aspect of it to try to smear you now well this is just more important why he can't
00:06:26.520
win a primary so he tells the voters hey you got to vote for me i don't have any you have no reason
00:06:30.920
to vote for me i've never been on your side but i can win i can win the general election he has no
00:06:35.520
proof that never has that proof i've won three general elections in texas that i've done quite
00:06:39.580
well with a lot less money than he spent and so he gets the uh you know the washington money to come
00:06:44.480
here and spend a hundred million dollars on his race that could have been used in michigan that could
00:06:48.420
have been used in other states that could have been used later in uh in november for republicans
00:06:52.520
and he's he's really a selfish guy stealing this money from from republican contributors who would
00:06:58.960
rather see a lot of republicans win instead of you know wasting money on him telling lies for for a
00:07:04.780
year the um you know the reason we're down here is the sharia law situation the islamic situation i
00:07:12.660
see cornyn having been a big part of getting the afghans in here and all that he's actually taking out
00:07:19.120
ads i i know this is working because cornyn's actually taking part of his ads is that he's the
00:07:24.560
most anti-sharia law uh individual that's ever gone to capitol hill is there any truth to that sir
00:07:30.080
there's none he's never said a word about it in his entire career that i i've never seen anything
00:07:35.100
i've watched him for decades he's never said that he he pulled it it was a good issue as all his
00:07:41.200
issues are now he's adopting completely different positions than he's had in the past i guarantee you
00:07:45.980
he would never have said anything about this and actually behind the scenes very favorable to this
00:07:50.660
uh sharia law continuing he's just got to switch all his positions there's not a single position
00:07:55.320
i've seen him take in the last 10 months and i says i got a rate that is consistent with his record of
00:08:00.800
the last 40. i want to make sure people are very clear in a general election against either what
00:08:07.320
uh crockett or uh her opponent it looks like it'll be crockett and she's pretty radical
00:08:12.320
what will be what will be the issues that you put forward to define yourself and that you think
00:08:19.000
uh can make sure that we hold texas in the united states senate look i think uh voter integrity i
00:08:25.400
think uh that is a huge issue for texas i think this whole issue with illegal immigration and dealing
00:08:31.700
with sharia law is a huge issue those are issues that she will not speak up the budget the fact that
00:08:36.760
our event we have a massive budget deficit and taking on china aggressively are going to be issues
00:08:41.940
that i'm going to focus on and i'm going to focus on getting good judges we john cornyn has not been
00:08:46.540
part of picking conservative constitutional conservatives but certainly jasmine crockett's
00:08:50.960
not going to want that uh attorney general paxton where do people go on social media to find you
00:08:57.360
you're putting stuff every day and particularly your campaign site because uh you're i got this guy's
00:09:02.560
going to spend a hundred million dollars before march 30 he's already spent 50 to 60 but the bombardment
00:09:08.240
of television ads is only just beginning it's going to get much more intense particularly as
00:09:12.940
early voting starts in the 17th where do people go out where do people go to find more about you
00:09:18.240
and what you stand for so at ken paxton tx for uh facebook and twitter and then to contribute
00:09:24.280
ken paxton.com and we need everybody's help across the country anybody can contribute as long as you're
00:09:29.360
a citizen of this country uh attorney general paxton you were there for us for the mega base and for
00:09:36.720
president trump on the first day of the illegitimate joe biden's regime you said that afternoon uh on
00:09:43.220
our afternoon show that on the 20th of january 2021 they said hey if biden's stays within the
00:09:49.060
constitution it's helpful to texas i'll support him if he doesn't uh we'll go to court to stop him and i
00:09:54.920
think you were in court in the next couple of days so you proved your mettle uh people very
00:09:59.660
appreciative and this is the most intense primary i've ever seen and i think at the end of day will end
00:10:04.580
of being the most expensive republican primary for the united states senate in history thank you so
00:10:08.800
much sir look forward to getting you back on thanks and encourage your people to get out the vote starts
00:10:13.540
february 17th through march 3rd thank you sir uh this poll i want to make sure the the uh grace and
00:10:22.220
mo and elizabeth everybody let's get this out i want all the uh all the folks not just in texas this
00:10:26.960
this race obviously has national implications it has global implications one of the reasons
00:10:32.120
we're in texas has already got not just a huge audience in the great state of texas but throughout
00:10:37.740
the country just like uh ken paxton's impeachment uh the redistricting fight they automatically became
00:10:44.700
huge uh huge uh shows that people throughout the country and throughout the world watch because
00:10:49.680
you know what goes on in texas affects the nation you save texas you save the country you save the
00:10:54.880
country you save the world chris russo joins us uh first off chris uh you're a texans for strong
00:11:01.260
borders an incredible group i want to get into that you've actually done some polling but talk to me
00:11:05.760
about the senate primary race uh this is i tell folks i have never seen something with this intensity
00:11:12.600
you have three candidates uh wesley hunt uh former uh i guess uh marine com army combat helicopter pilot
00:11:21.040
graduate of west point he's on the board of visitors with maureen mo bannon my daughter up there
00:11:25.720
uh you have ken paxton who's a legend for the grassroots in texan you have john cornyn has been
00:11:30.780
there 24 years and has all the money and mitch mcconnell in this crowd and like i said having moved the
00:11:36.820
show to texas and now seeing local texas media i'm kind of overwhelmed with the number of ads that
00:11:41.700
have come up for cornyn he just it's just non-stop it's a relentless onslaught what's your overall
00:11:46.660
view of of this race from the grassroots perspective so we've already endorsed uh ag paxton for
00:11:54.080
this race and for a lot of the same reasons that other people in the grassroots have that he's been
00:12:00.720
a consistent supporter of strong border enforcement he was there fighting the biden administration every
00:12:07.140
step of the way and uh i think that he's going to ultimately come out in first place uh but go to a
00:12:15.080
runoff um and then we'll see who his opponent is uh john cornyn you know he's spending more money
00:12:21.100
than basically anyone we've ever seen in a senate primary and he has been an opponent of border
00:12:29.920
security and interior immigration enforcement since he was one of them the first authors of
00:12:36.520
one of these grand compromise amnesty bills back in the bush administration and i think 2005
00:12:41.540
talk to me about that for a second when he said his record is not as strong because you run
00:12:48.360
a group that is a very hardcore very focused on uh border security and also internal security what
00:12:56.880
do you mean he's been soft on this and been one of the authors of these amnesty bills
00:13:00.240
so if you remember everybody remembers the gang of eight bill that was going to provide amnesty to
00:13:07.120
uh illegal aliens who had been in the country and had not had a subsequent criminal record
00:13:12.140
of any type well this actually was preceded by several efforts within the george w bush administration
00:13:19.240
uh that never actually came to fruition because they were so unpopular and so you had a variety
00:13:25.060
of these bills one of them was spearheaded by uh senator cornyn back in the day and then
00:13:30.000
more contemporarily he's had several efforts that he's been either behind behind the scenes or
00:13:36.920
uh vocally supportive of things like lifting country caps for legal immigration which would
00:13:43.340
guarantee that essentially every legal immigrant for the next 40 years would be from either india or
00:13:49.420
china and i don't think that's in anyone's best interest and he as you mentioned earlier in the show
00:13:55.640
has been uh an opponent of border security measures saying that the border wall was not going to be
00:14:01.980
effective that we needed different methods of keeping people out uh etc and then um more recently
00:14:08.700
he's kind of pivoted because i think he understood that he has never in his career had a substantial
00:14:14.960
primary challenge and now suddenly he's got his hands full he's at the trough of his popularity
00:14:20.980
and he's got a fight on his hands and so he's pivoting to appear more conservative than he has been
00:14:27.900
historically two things one is that at least half the ads have senator cornyn walking by the border wall
00:14:36.080
just be specific about what his real commitment to building the wall has been because every ad you've
00:14:41.760
got him at the wall like he's the chief engineer actually designing it well you know more recently
00:14:49.640
the one big beautiful bill act was uh was passed last year and it provided a ton of funding for the
00:14:57.240
border wall but in the first trump administration where we could have gotten it done um the u.s senate
00:15:04.400
and even the house provided next to nothing for border wall construction in fact as you know the trump
00:15:11.920
administration had to redirect dod funds to begin construction of the wall towards the end of the first
00:15:18.600
term and they were able to get a lot done but at the same time it was people like john cornyn in the
00:15:26.520
u.s senate and unfortunately the old house leadership uh back in 2017 and 2018 that refused
00:15:33.800
to deliver any substantial border border wall funding to the trump administration and it's just
00:15:40.160
recently now that there has been an overwhelming political mandate because of the results of the
00:15:45.380
2024 presidential election that they've kind of gotten in line now that they see that it is uh
00:15:51.020
politically expedient for them to do so you said something i want to make sure the audience
00:15:55.300
understands that in the in the primer in the first round uh which should be the only round but you
00:16:01.220
have to get to 50 plus one vote to basically win if you don't get to 50 plus one vote now you have to
00:16:09.040
go on what is a runoff talk to the audience about that so essentially what will happen is we have three
00:16:16.780
major candidates for u.s senate uh in texas that would be as you mentioned john cornyn ken paxton wesley hunt
00:16:24.340
it's unlikely based on what we've seen that any of them will uh pass that 50 plus one vote threshold
00:16:32.140
and so the top two candidates would go to a runoff that would be just one versus the other it would be a
00:16:39.320
straight up or down vote and so um you know if if john cornyn goes to the runoff against either ken
00:16:45.920
paxton or wesley hunt i think that he's probably in a bad position to win that runoff um no matter
00:16:52.080
who he's against and it would be uh very interesting to see the result if say cornyn came in third and you
00:16:59.500
had ken paxton versus wesley hunt i think that that race would be uh very very difficult to determine
00:17:06.020
who would be the winner but what you said is is is shocking and i want to make sure people
00:17:10.840
understand that this is a guy that's raised unlimited amount of money and the senate leadership
00:17:15.400
fund has said that they will put unlimited amount of money here to hold for cornyn you're actually
00:17:21.060
in in the polls over the last couple days up until this poll had paxton and excuse me had cornyn in third
00:17:27.980
given all the money do you think it actually we could have a situation where john cornyn could not make
00:17:34.640
the runoff having spent 75 or 80 million maybe even 100 million dollars on a primary it is certainly
00:17:42.060
possible and i think that that just illustrates that no amount of money can cover up a record that
00:17:49.040
has been this poor i mean this is a guy that in 2022 i saw booed on the stage of the republican state
00:17:56.200
convention in houston and so he is not popular among republican primary voters and and so i don't think
00:18:03.500
it's any surprise now in the past he has not had a well-funded uh high name id opponent and that's
00:18:11.380
why he's been able to pretty much sail to re-election so often but this time it's very different he's got
00:18:17.180
two guys that are running against him that have a substantially more conservative record than he does
00:18:21.900
um and who are much more popular among the grassroots and so i don't think it's any surprise
00:18:27.280
uh that he would be struggling in this election and i don't know if it's the likely result that he
00:18:33.160
would come in third but it's certainly possible which is shocking as you said given the amount of
00:18:37.540
money in his war chest and that's been spent by outside groups trying to keep him and the establishment
00:18:43.120
in power in the u.s senate you were at a grassroots meeting the other day and i met you but you had just
00:18:48.200
done some polling that i thought was fascinating and it really hasn't gotten the exposure it deserves
00:18:52.700
first off talk to me about your group give me a minute on on texans for strong borders and talk
00:18:57.240
about this poll that you commissioned and what the results are and implication of those results
00:19:02.800
sure so we are a 501c4 non-profit that i founded in 2022 after seeing that there really was not a
00:19:13.620
single issue group for border security and putting americans first in immigration policy
00:19:20.380
uh that was operating at the state level trying to make sure that the state of texas passed the
00:19:26.600
policies that it needed to one combat the biden border crisis at the time and two now that we're
00:19:33.100
through the biden administration to future-proof the state so that we're not caught on our back
00:19:38.520
foot like we were in 2021 so things like eliminating taxpayer funded handouts for uh illegal aliens
00:19:45.220
uh universally verify reforming our state's border mission so that it's effective in actually repelling
00:19:51.920
illegal crossings and things like that and so uh in the interest of that mission of trying to make
00:19:57.320
sure that our state is in the best position um we've seen a lot of these congressional races particularly
00:20:03.380
in these new seats that have opened up to republicans since the redistricting last year
00:20:08.240
and so we decided to do a poll in the 32nd congressional district where it's really three main players but
00:20:15.940
two of them exemplify this fight between the uh the people that want to put america first and
00:20:24.880
and want to uh stop illegal immigration and continue to finish the job of deporting the illegal aliens that
00:20:32.820
are here and sort of the old guard the bush type republicans that have talked about um measures like
00:20:39.340
the dignity act to give amnesty to illegal aliens who have been here and so what we found was that
00:20:45.360
republican primary voters have a very very resilient interest in continuing mass deportations in
00:20:54.800
freezing h-1b visas in supporting universally verify and in opposing amnesty and so um
00:21:02.660
it's interesting you know we have one candidate here uh in this race that's jace yarbro who has
00:21:09.160
been endorsed by president trump and greg abbott and by us and he is in favor of all of these uh strong
00:21:16.940
border enforcement policies and the other can one of the other major candidates in the race is ryan
00:21:22.860
binkley who actually ran for president against trump in 2024 from the left um in the republican primary
00:21:30.380
and uh he didn't receive much support at all but he has signaled support for things like the dignity
00:21:36.780
act which would give legal status to people who have been here for a certain period of time
00:21:42.920
um and they say that there would never be a pathway to citizenship but we know
00:21:47.260
the second that a democrat gets in office that that's going to be the change that that's going to
00:21:51.280
change talk to me just give me because uh you know a lot of people watch this on podcasts so they
00:21:56.920
don't see our actual visuals just walk me through the numbers because i was blown away at the scale
00:22:01.640
of uh the support of this these were not on the margin just walk me through the the question what's
00:22:06.720
what's the what was the the the positive nature with the number of how big it was in in positive
00:22:13.100
so among likely gop primary voters in this congressional district 83 percent of the voters support ice
00:22:23.120
and even more support border patrol border patrol and ice in this poll are even more favorably viewed
00:22:30.200
than president trump and jd vance who are both in the 80 percent range 81 percent support the trump
00:22:37.040
administration's operations in minneapolis and this poll was taken from january 31st to february 2nd
00:22:43.580
and so it was before the announced drawdown uh in that city 82 percent supported governor greg abbott's
00:22:51.380
freeze on h1b visa petitions for state agencies after some of this fraud was uncovered uh 85 percent
00:22:59.220
support universally verify and then 73 percent of gop primary voters opposed the dignity act when they
00:23:06.740
were told that it would grant legal status to illegal aliens who have been in the country and let them
00:23:12.880
stay here indefinitely um and so we think that this is a sign that even with the left-wing media blitz
00:23:22.480
against immigration enforcement trying to sensationalize the issue of enforcing federal
00:23:27.800
immigration law republican primary voters remain committed to the mission and so what we what we're
00:23:34.180
saying about this is that the way to drive republican turnout in 2026 is not to moderate it's not to
00:23:41.840
shy away from the promise of mass deportations it's actually to double down to lean into it and to
00:23:48.540
deliver results for your voters and for the citizens of the united states
00:23:53.280
let me through that again because you know there's a lot of confusion about that in washington and
00:23:59.120
particularly a lot of people the house just had these donor meetings that said hey the economy is
00:24:03.300
going to turn around so well we don't have to really focus on mass deportations all these other
00:24:08.160
issues will be secondary do you believe that i don't believe that when so we actually also pulled
00:24:16.400
the most important issue to republican primary voters and although affordability was up there
00:24:22.920
border security and immigration enforcement were number one and they were a clear number one i believe
00:24:28.680
it was about 30 percent of gop primary voters picked that as their number one issue and then i believe the
00:24:35.800
next one was health care uh affordability at around 19 percent and so uh you know there there are people
00:24:42.660
that are concerned about the economy and and justifiably should be but the reality is that
00:24:48.440
republicans elected donald trump in 2024 primarily to not only shut down the border which he has largely
00:24:56.440
accomplished at least for now but to get the people who are in the country illegally out and to stop the
00:25:03.820
taxpayer handouts to them to stop things like in-state tuition subsidies and the like and until
00:25:10.380
that goal is accomplished i think there's still work to be done and the way to get people excited about
00:25:17.280
the trump administration and the republican party is to deliver results chris can you hang on for a

patriot mobile chris russo um i we've never had we've launched you know war room impeachment and pandemic
00:32:14.400
and the elections all that we've never had a uh a show launch this big or this hot before i think
00:32:21.180
one of the things we did at that conference with gert builders and uh glenn beck was give a permission
00:32:26.580
structure for people in texas to start talk about this issue that was right below the surface kind of
00:32:31.940
exploded what what is your thoughts on the run-up early voting starts 17 february what are your
00:32:39.480
thoughts about sharia law proposition 10 prohibiting sharia law uh in the state of texas being on the
00:32:45.500
ballot i think we need it because frankly this is an issue where you have these foreign enclaves
00:32:54.360
that don't respect the united states constitution that don't respect any of our values that are trying
00:33:01.220
to literally purchase large uh swaths of land and institute their own legal system one that's
00:33:09.200
hostile to western civilization uh within our own borders and i don't know how that is classified
00:33:15.660
as anything but a hostile takeover of the united states territory and so i think it's very important
00:33:21.280
to not only put this on the ballot but to then pursue a comprehensive policy in the texas legislature
00:33:28.200
and hopefully once we get momentum federally uh to make sure that these kinds of land purchases
00:33:34.420
to create sharia communities cannot happen in the state of texas um i'm working pretty closely with
00:33:41.780
a lot of state legislators to try and make sure that we have policy ready to go um a lot of people
00:33:48.480
may not know this but the texas legislature only meets every two years and so the next opportunity
00:33:53.680
unless there is a special session called is going to start in january of 2027 and so we have to have
00:34:00.860
all of our ducks in a row from a policy perspective uh we need voters to vote for this proposition
00:34:07.400
on the gop primary ballot to give us the impetus and the momentum to be able to pass this policy
00:34:15.240
quickly and not let the clock run out because again the texas legislature only meets for five months
00:34:21.400
every two years and so that means there's a very limited amount of time for us to get this done
00:34:26.360
well hopefully if we uh if we represent on the 3rd of january in the lead up to it the early voting
00:34:32.040
the message will get out and i think uh they're actually talking about dan patrick's actually
00:34:36.640
talking the senate having hearings you get need to have hearings and then maybe even a special session
00:34:40.680
between now and then what type of heat you stay very close to the grassroots what type of heat is this
00:34:46.300
issue uh generating right now it's something that every person i talk to asks me about and wants to
00:34:54.100
talk about i would say it's probably the number one issue uh for uh the grassroots specifically
00:35:01.480
um they are very concerned about that i've seen people that are that every time i talk to them
00:35:08.220
they want to say or they want to ask me what is being done about this and so i fully expect this
00:35:14.000
proposition to get 90 plus percent approval on the ballot i don't think this is going to have any
00:35:19.320
trouble passing i think that this issue is a slam dunk among gop primary voters the real work begins
00:35:26.860
after the primary it begins in trying to make sure that we have uh that you know the the activists
00:35:34.200
within the republican party make this a priority at the state convention and then that we have all of
00:35:40.460
these stakeholders that are working on this issue talking to each other working with lawmakers and then
00:35:46.000
starting to develop policy that can be uh submitted very early in the process for the state legislature
00:35:53.160
uh get a low bill number so it's referred to committee early and then hopefully get the governor
00:35:59.360
to designate this an emergency priority so that this legislation can be passed at the beginning of the
00:36:05.460
session and not allow the left to run out the clock like they have in the past okay i want everybody to go to
00:36:12.080
your site i want everybody to get familiar with you and what your team is doing i want people to look
00:36:16.500
at this poll done in a 32nd congressional district jace yarborough who's been endorsed by president trump
00:36:22.820
uh where do people go chris so you can find us at our website strongborders.org or at x facebook and
00:36:31.800
instagram at strong borders tx chris uh do you have uh do you have social media personally you have a
00:36:38.900
personal uh twitter account i do but it's pretty inactive it's at chris w russo on twitter
00:36:45.060
strong borders thank you brother appreciate you coming on here appreciate you doing the poll
00:36:49.720
very insightful glad to be with you steve the math around this texas race and about these issues
00:36:56.740
in texas are going to get quite important i want to introduce someone that many of the folks i work
00:37:02.080
with this is one of the bravest individuals they've met nasar hussein uh joins us uh nasar tell i want
00:37:10.120
to just take because we're going to have you on here multiple times i just want to take time
00:37:13.840
and tell your story correct me if i'm wrong you're a christian convert from islam is that correct
00:37:19.820
that's correct sir that's correct okay tell us your story how did that how did that happen
00:37:25.620
so i'm born and raised uh in uk in england uh to pakistani immigrant parents i'm born in 65
00:37:37.620
and i converted to christianity in 96 and thereafter the so-called community actually persecuted us to
00:37:48.780
the point where i was almost bludgeoned to death in november of 2015 i took me um i ended up being
00:37:57.540
kneecapped and i suffered a broken hand trying to stop my head from being bludgeoned in um spent 11
00:38:03.220
days in hospital came away took me several months to get up and about again um emotional psychological
00:38:10.080
damage you appreciate and um a year to the day 10 armed police in the swat style operation
00:38:17.660
uh descended upon my home and as a result of that we had to vacate our home because the what they
00:38:25.200
deemed as intelligence to suggest our lives were in imminent danger
00:38:30.720
so talking about we've been living in hiding sorry see just to say we've been living in hiding ever
00:38:38.520
since uh under police protection in a different part of uh england uh where there are no
00:38:46.760
uh pakistani muslims and such like what talk to me about that because uh you know people convert
00:38:54.320
from other forms of christianity there's people in christianity convert to judaism some that convert
00:38:58.880
to islam what is it about particularly the branch you were in that uh would consider you an apostate
00:39:06.140
that deserves harm or death or intimidation what is it in the religion that drives that
00:39:12.100
it's the cardinal sin uh in islam so i'm i was born and raised under the banner of sunni islam
00:39:19.460
and i can assure you now things weren't uh as they are now things weren't like that growing up in 65
00:39:27.860
uh you know we were british uh but we were conformed to the pattern of going to the mosque to learn
00:39:34.440
uh arabic scripture i didn't know what sharia was we never uh never subscribed to sharia we weren't
00:39:42.180
told what sharia was all we were there was to learn the chronic scripture and and that was it okay
00:39:50.080
so i've learned more about sharia further to my conversion to christianity it is the cardinal sin
00:39:58.340
after murder adultery okay and so we found ourselves my family and i my young family
00:40:05.660
um uh under the uh death strictures of sharia uh actually and so which uh under islam
00:40:14.780
any convert that leaves islam as muhammad uh is quoted in the hadith that um uh actually that you
00:40:24.740
um anybody that leaves islam kill them those are his exact words
00:40:30.460
so let me ask you go back in time when did this shift because like you said when your parents came
00:40:38.420
and and and you were born a young person living in a in a in a muslim household sunni muslim household
00:40:46.320
uh it wasn't this type of islam that was being taught when did you start to see that change in
00:40:53.020
england of when this became much more um pure puritanical uh i would say much more stricture
00:41:00.460
i would say around about the early 80s uh because they brought in this multiculturalism policy uh
00:41:09.460
which is a total failure uh steve and just to sort of add to that uh actually um integration
00:41:17.080
is a failure okay so from the advent of bringing in this is the government's bringing in the
00:41:24.380
multiculturalism policy uh that's when things started shifting and if i may also say there's
00:41:32.260
not an issue with the see community with the indian community with the hindu community
00:41:36.340
the jamaican community uh growing up uh actually although we were fewer in number however uh we took on
00:41:47.100
britishness uh whether you were indian uh you were uh the windrush generation those that came
00:41:53.880
uh through the commonwealth by ship so their children the windrush generation we gelled together
00:42:02.460
uh we identified as british okay and so uh there wasn't this issue but certainly from the 80s onwards
00:42:11.920
it's gained uh huge traction where the the the community has outgrown english communities
00:42:23.120
because of their the child birth okay and of course it's then incumbent upon them
00:42:30.460
to then push sharia and enforce sharia so we as a family were subjected to sharia enforcement
00:42:39.180
let me answer i just want to go back to the british establishment so
00:42:43.720
you know different the sikh community the hindu community you're there they're ex-commonwealthy
00:42:48.720
you're in england but everybody's being raised as basically british as english correct although you
00:42:54.520
come from very diverse backgrounds up to a certain point of time then they start forcing this
00:42:59.600
multiculturalism yes sir and my problem is uh the sharia enforcement as a as a convert christian so
00:43:10.600
i can tell you right now hand on heart if i said i'm an atheist we wouldn't have suffered
00:43:18.680
but as soon as they found out i'd converted christianity it's sharia enforcement and so we we suffered uh for over 20 years
00:43:30.760
we were forced out our first home after nine ten years of suffering in the form of terrorism acts of terrorism
00:43:39.020
this is daily um uh intimidation okay car torchings car ramings drive-by brickings okay i i was constantly referred
00:43:51.020
my family and i as jew dogs and by the way i take that as a compliment uh but but that we just to give you an idea of the hatred
00:44:00.020
and this is now extended to the uh second generation uh bearing in mind i am the first generation
00:44:12.900
talk to me a second about your conversion experience how being raised uh as british you were from a sunni
00:44:22.240
muslim household walk through how did you actually convert to christianity because i think people in
00:44:29.120
the united states and maybe some in england take christianity for granted they don't realize
00:44:33.560
the risk of martyrdom and and particularly of uh of of people trying to stop your conversion so how did
00:44:42.000
you actually convert to christianity yeah it was through a school friend uh steve who uh was a
00:44:49.560
sort of punk rocker actually what we call a skinhead and he was quite a rough kid actually and he was
00:44:56.540
openly racist okay uh and along the way uh i've seen him and him playing truant and not seeing him for
00:45:05.080
months and months and then being brought back by the school authorities back to school you know hard
00:45:10.260
as nails and he comes back on on this particular occasion the mohican hairstyle has gone uh the ear
00:45:18.020
piercings gone uh the tattoos are covered civil dress code he's reading the bible and there's a
00:45:25.400
complete transformation visibly uh and through his conduct that blew me away actually and he's telling
00:45:34.300
me he's born again and i didn't know what born again was i knew what christianity was i knew what a
00:45:38.700
christian was and you know i i was drawn to him like a magnet actually and we would have long
00:45:44.980
conversations and he imparted to me a gideon new testament now one is taught that this is a lie
00:45:52.600
uh the christians are uh you know lie and they they believe in jesus christ which is a son of god
00:46:00.180
which is sacrilege in islam because mahamid decreed uh you know that um there is no father son and holy
00:46:09.380
spirit it is utter blasphemy so it's diametrically opposed to islam okay so as as fearful as i was
00:46:17.540
putting this new testament in my pocket and as a 15 year old kid and actually going home talking
00:46:25.100
under my mattress and reading every evening so to cut it short through the gospel message of matthew
00:46:31.980
mark luke and john i made a confession of faith in my bedroom and that's how i became a christian and
00:46:37.140
then i then mentioned to my dear friend uh john and he said he would like to meet my pastor and i
00:46:43.720
didn't know what a pastor was actually and and then he he tried to explain to me and so we went to
00:46:49.980
meet his pastor and the second most amazing thing to me was the pastor was from a sikh background uh his
00:46:56.860
father was a uh the sikh pastor his father was a um a gudwara priest if you like uh and actually
00:47:06.800
so it it this it blew me away you know so i i i i recognized that the gospel message is it
00:47:14.240
translates to all regardless of color and creed and so uh that's how my my journey began but
00:47:22.320
unfortunately my mother discovered uh the the the gideon new testament uh after several months
00:47:28.200
and she was screaming and tearing the place down i don't think she understood it she would have gone to
00:47:33.920
my older sisters and they would have said oh my god it's the new testament he's got a new testament
00:47:39.460
and uh you know it's something that's defiling the house or it's it's something which is taboo
00:47:45.680
and my mother threatened uh as soon as i opened my bedroom door one morning to come down she was at
00:47:53.100
the bottom of the land the landing and sort of screaming a shout and threatening to go to my father
00:47:58.360
my father was a big man actually six four of him uh ruled with a rod of iron uh you know and uh so she
00:48:05.700
instilled the fear of god in me and i fell away from fellowship and i uh so i think that the expression
00:48:12.140
is i was in a backslidden state and i didn't uh reconnect with christianity sadly i lost my 29 year
00:48:20.680
old brother i he he was one year younger than me uh this is in 96 and that's how i rededicated my life
00:48:28.000
i was in a very broken state okay and so i i threw a work colleague who was a christian
00:48:35.400
uh i spoke to him and i said look i need to come to church with you and uh he started running around
00:48:42.780
and dancing around in the room actually and he was so excited and so happy so um but the sad thing is
00:48:49.220
for us steve is that i had a very close friend a pakistani friend born and raised like me
00:48:56.120
actually and i told him and i told him that i am now a practicing christian and he told me
00:49:03.480
as a matter of factly not to come near his door our relationship our friendship was finished
00:49:10.580
through him he then tells other people and it seems to go out like wildfire and that's when
00:49:20.400
our persecution began actually did uh it was like being in an islamic country uh i could really talk
00:49:28.940
to you you know for hours and hours and hours but nothing prepared has prepared us for this sharia
