00:32:01.560She's vice chairman of the Texas GOP, and she's running for chairman.
00:32:06.140First off, Dorinda, can you give me your assessment on the early vote, these kind of numbers that have looked like Democrats really outperforming it than, I guess, the Republicans have caught the last couple of days?
00:32:16.540What's your assessment of where we stand on early voting?
00:32:19.740Well, I totally agree with Chris Russo that what we're seeing here is the closed primaries have to happen, and that's what we need in Texas.
00:32:28.840And that means that you have to register in your party, and then you can't just cross over in order for you to vote for the most liberal Republican so you can get your policies through as a Democrat.
00:32:43.660And so that has been happening for years and years and years.
00:32:47.300And so the delegates' last convention said, enough of that.
00:32:53.120And so what we are doing is trying to accomplish that.
00:32:57.280And so it does look like the voting—I looked at the voting for Harris County this morning, and it looks like they are pretty much on par with how the voting was in their numbers last time.
00:33:11.120However, Democrats are totally doing a great job of getting out the vote.
00:33:16.220It is nice to see that they have the energy to get their people elected.
00:33:22.640Now we just have to get our energy out there to get back out there to pick the best Republican.
00:33:28.920And we've got to have more energy to save this state than they have in regards to destroying this state.
00:33:36.980So we've got to get our people out there, and it all comes to communication, and it all turns out to getting out the vote efforts.
00:33:47.100Well, in the—when you say last time, do you mean 24?
00:33:50.760I mean, I think the concern of people that are looking at this is that so far, because there's a big group of Texans, and a lot of those are Warren Posse members.
00:34:02.460And you're not going to—they're going to—they're game-day voters, and for a host of reasons, they don't want to tip their hand.
00:34:08.100And so you have a natural, you know, disadvantage right there.
00:34:12.000But some people are saying—even calculating that, they're going, well, hang on, this looks like a pretty good showing for a midterm election, but the Democrats are coming out in numbers that could be 24 numbers.
00:34:21.940Are you concerned that their motivation to stop Trump—because this is not about any one policy.
00:34:27.700This is their hatred of President Trump and their hatred of the MAGA movement—could be driving them to presidential year turnout, where we're going to have a very good midterm election turnout, because that gap will then make this a complete neck-and-neck horse race in November, won't it?
00:34:43.880It will, but I think that—and that's why we've got to be really strong when it comes to midterms.
00:34:51.080We have got to—once the primaries are done, it has to be all about the midterms and getting the people to come out and vote.
00:34:58.800The other thing that we have to do is we have to get the communication out there of what is the difference between a Republican and a Democrat.
00:35:04.880Sometimes we get so locked in our own silos that we don't talk about those issues, and so I'd like to see us do a marketing campaign, doing things to where we get out there and show the Democrats, who might be more conservative Democrats, especially like, you know, you were talking about South Texas.
00:35:22.840I've been to South Texas so many times, and I love it out there.
00:35:26.500The energy out there is palatable, and they—I've talked to those people, and one of the things that they said is they—it used to be just five of them.
00:35:35.460Now I go to their meetings, and it is standing room only.
00:35:39.340They have an energy with their newfound freedom of being in the Republican Party, and the main thing for them is jobs, jobs, jobs.
00:35:48.520And what Biden did when he first came in office, he immediately got rid of the pipeline, and that really hurt a lot of people in South Texas.
00:35:57.440And so what I want to do is make sure that when it comes to communicating midterms, talking to them about what directly hits them, like gasoline prices.
00:36:08.440You know, that is one of the biggest things that you can look at, and you can see, you know what?
00:36:14.040Huge difference now that we have Trump in office, and a huge difference to their pocketbook.
00:36:19.660But, you know, Democrats have to—we have to try to communicate to people, to Democrats that are more on the conservative bend and are baby Republicans.
00:36:31.640We have to strengthen them. We have to get them back involved and get them back to the polls, because midterms are everything.
00:36:39.740If we don't get Trump back in, then you are going to look at jobs disappearing.
00:36:44.040You are going to look at the chaos that the Democrats can only bring in by trying to impeach him and do all the crazy stuff that they are.
00:36:50.380The other thing that didn't bode well for South Texas is boys being in girls' sports, girls losing opportunity to be in sports, boys being in women's dressing rooms, and the same with men.
00:37:04.840Those kind of things do not bode well for South Texas, and what we need to do is make sure that we continue to talk about those things and get them out there and just give a comparison at all times.
00:37:19.280One of the things that I did as vice chair is I did billboards out there in South Texas, and because it's a macho society, what I did is I took Trump's fight, fight, fight picture, and I put that on six billboards out there.
00:37:37.920It said fight, fight, fight, fight, save America, vote Trump.
00:37:44.440So those are things that helped us, and we got a lot of Republican candidates in there too because of Trump.
00:37:51.920So we've got to make sure that we continue the energy that only Trump can give, and we need to make sure that we in the RPT channels that energy and gets the people to the polls.
00:38:05.120How important is the president with war and peace and tariffs in Iran and what's happening in Mexico?
00:38:11.620He changed his schedule to come to Texas on Friday to Corpus Christi to South Texas on the last day of early voting, but clearly to motivate people for game day.
00:38:26.060One of the things that whenever I became vice chair is I had some people in leadership with the GOP in South Texas, and one of the things that they said is, you know, it's great that you won our vote, but the thing is, is are you going to be there after you get elected?
00:38:41.200And to see Trump see them as one of the most important parts of Texas, because it was 12 out of 14 counties that turned on for Trump, that is huge for them.
00:38:54.920For them to be seen by the president of the United States, that is a big deal, and that will bode well for us to get the vote out in the midterms and now.
00:39:05.180What are you saying? Give me a minute or two on tonight. Ken Pax and Cornyn Hunt all be in the audience.
00:39:13.620What do you think the message the president has to make to keep this energy or to rekindle some of the energy in the MAGA movement?
00:39:21.480Some people just think, hey, President Trump's there. Everything's fine. You know the battles he's going through. What are you looking for in the State of the Union tonight?
00:39:27.760I think what I would love to see him say is, you know what, people, can you just put the TDS on a shelf while I talk to you about things that I have done for all of you, not just Republicans.
00:39:43.320He has bettered the lives for everyone. And talk about that and ask them to have an open mind, because he has done some phenomenal things.
00:39:53.320He came into office, and it was complete lawlessness. He had to seal our border. He had to get rid of DEI that was discriminating against a lot of Americans.
00:40:03.380Dorinda, our coverage starts, we've been all day, and this is why Warren, Texas is about the State of the Union. We've been all day on this.
00:40:13.240Tonight at 7, Grant Stinchfield from Dallas takes over, and I'm going to be the host for the overall evening.
00:40:18.960But we've got half of the U.S. senators are not going to be in the room. They're going to have a counter protest.
00:40:25.020They've got a huge protest on the mall. We understand it in the room itself that some of the House members, the more radical House members, are going to try to shut the president down.
00:40:33.360The Democratic Party, I mean, yes, go over the head to the American people, but the Democratic Party, you talk about Trump derangement syndrome, you're going to see that manifested tonight by the Democratic Party.
00:40:44.620Well, one of the things that we all love about Trump is his marketing genius. He is in touch with the American people. He knows what to do.
00:40:55.100And the one thing that I think he should do is, with those empty chairs, put the victims' faces of children that have passed away because of illegal immigration.
00:41:04.060Because they can't show up to do their job. We can recognize the people that they can't even say their names.
00:41:12.780So, you know, it's just continuing to make sure that the Democrats do be—every time that he's done a State of the Union, his numbers go up.
00:41:24.840And the reason why is because the Democrats act like morons.
00:41:29.060And so, because that's always on display, every time he has a State of the Union address,
00:41:35.120I think that it's only going to do well for him because he did an amazing job at the State of the Union, the first one.
00:41:41.160This one, with them retaliating like children again and taking the rocks and going into—off campus and not doing their—what they get paid to do.
00:41:51.700The show of no respect to the president.
00:41:53.280That's only going to bode well for the president.
00:41:55.960Dorinda, we're going to have you back on, talk about your race for the GOP chair.
00:41:59.900But right now, where do people go to find out more about you, what's your social media, your website, all of it?
00:43:06.380And why is everybody saying, hey, if Russo's in, I'm in?
00:43:10.380Well, first of all, I think that when we're looking at the last year, we have to recognize that the Trump administration faced an extremely uphill battle in trying to get numbers of people out of the country that are here illegally.
00:43:26.020And that's why you saw the foundation being laid for it.
00:43:30.640You had the One Big Beautiful Bill Act passed.
00:43:32.880You had the 12,500 new ICE agents hired.
00:43:37.440But now, as we approach the midterms, unfortunately, the same old forces in Washington and even at the state levels are telling Trump, hey, pump the brakes.
00:43:49.160You're affecting us business owners, et cetera, et cetera.
00:43:52.500But the reality and what we are trying to accomplish here is to say, look, the reason that you won in 2024, maybe the biggest reason, and the signature issue of the America First movement is immigration and is delivering on the promises of mass deportations.
00:44:13.480And so what we are doing as an organization and through this mass deportation coalition is saying, here is the blueprint, both at the federal policy level, both with and without legislation, and at the state level to accomplish at least one million deportations per year.
00:44:31.400And that would make good on Trump's promise of conducting the largest mass deportation operation in American history.
00:44:40.780Chris, if the president called you this afternoon and said, hey, look, I'm coming out on Friday.
00:44:45.460I want to make sure the energy is there.
00:44:47.220I'm changing my whole day to do it in a time that I'm trying to negotiate peace deals and tariffs.
00:44:52.980What should I say tonight to tee that up?
00:44:55.260Give me a minute on what's your recommendation for the president in the State of the Union that will be up here in about a couple hours.
00:45:03.700If I were the president, I would point to the realities of the violence of what's going on in Mexico.
00:45:09.120The images of the CJNG cartel fighting the Mexican National Guard and the Mexican military, burning cars, burning big box stores, threatening everyone on the streets with murder if they did not obey them and get out of the streets to clear for their operations against the Mexican government.
00:45:30.120What people need to realize is that the pocketbooks of that cartel are lined by an open border and by what happened under Joe Biden.
00:45:40.500Even the people who come here that everyone says are good people that commit no additional crime other than crossing the border illegally.
00:45:48.360Those people line the pocketbooks of these cartels and they are the ones that are providing the financing for them to be able to take this violent action and engage in drug smuggling and human trafficking and all of the activities that we see that shock us.
00:46:05.160And so if I was the president, I would say these are the fruits of an open border, are violent military cartels that are capable of doing battle against nation states.
00:46:15.840And we have that right on our right on our bottom border, on our southern border.
00:46:21.880And that's something that we're going to have to contend with.
00:46:24.480And the reality is the cartels have infrastructure in the United States as to or in the United States as well.
00:46:31.900And so we're going to have to contend with that.
00:47:06.560Before I get to Trevor, I want to thank our sponsor, Patriot Mobile, 972 Patriot.
00:47:12.340Look, it's the best phone service out there because it lays on top of all the other major phone services.
00:47:17.260And you're going to get a company that backs your values like nobody else, 972 Patriot.
00:47:24.800As the company says, you're going to get their customer service that is going to have a bunch of folks with an East Texas accent because that's where customer service is.
00:47:33.020So make sure you go check it out today.
00:47:35.020Or if you don't, if they don't have an East Texas accent, it's one of the missionaries at the missionary school, I think, in California that they're sponsoring.
00:48:31.800Our beef liver might help with his memory a little bit.
00:48:34.700I would definitely recommend that product specifically.
00:48:37.580But I definitely, with the time I had, just wanted to mention that we have our sale running for our Sacred Healing Salve.
00:48:44.460So you can use code SALVE, S-A-L-V-E, for 15% off that specific product.
00:48:52.040And then it also works on our healing and moisturizing bundle, which includes the Tala moisturizer.
00:48:57.500But, of course, for anyone that doesn't know the Sacred Healing Salve, the main ingredient within that is the comfrey.
00:49:04.360And comfrey is just used for – or has been used for centuries to support things like pain relief, inflammation, swelling, bruising, and even tissue repair.
00:49:12.280So it essentially helps your body actually repair and recover as opposed to just masking the discomfort.
00:49:18.540And a lot of people just love to use it for things like sore muscles.
00:49:21.720If you have a sore neck, that's what I typically use it for.
00:49:24.720Or if you have, like, joint pain, sprains, swelling, or want to use it for arthritis support, works really well in those scenarios.
00:49:31.320But basically, just take a little bit.
00:49:33.280You rub it onto any area of your body that needs relief.
00:49:35.520And then we also pair the comfrey with other organic herbs to help soothe things like cuts, scrapes, insect bites, and burns.
00:49:43.580So it helps heal those up pretty fast.
00:49:45.800So, you know, it's an incredibly powerful and versatile product.
00:49:49.160I would definitely check out the reviews.
00:49:50.480They're starting to come in, although it's a newer product.
00:49:52.940But the feedback we've been getting between emails and reviews has been pretty remarkable.
00:49:56.440And there's some really great success stories.
