00:02:52.800 Instead, what is happening is that he is all but avoiding going back to France, not because he's being prosecuted for breaking the story, but because now they are trying to boggle him down legally by digging up an old story he wrote three years ago and accusing him of, you're not going to believe it, guys, anti-Semitism.

00:05:41.380 Essentially, our publication deals with news pertaining to power networks, and we're also an archive center.
00:05:48.220 In 2012, we opened a file pertaining to Brigitte Macron because the history surrounding her seemed very strange.
00:05:55.060 At that time, Emmanuel Macron was appointed principal advisor to the socialist president, François Hollande.

00:06:27.780 However, every time her story was told, inconsistencies kept emerging.
00:06:33.780 The narrative in 2019 was that they had an age difference of 20 years,
00:06:38.600 and that she was Emmanuel Macron's French professor, yet a very gorgeous and beautiful woman,
00:06:44.380 and that all the students were in love with her.
00:06:47.000 This initial narrative that there is an age difference of 19 years,
00:06:51.920 instead of incurring blame, the media stated Emmanuel Macron was almost of legal age.
00:06:59.060 He was presented as this virile, promising, aspiring young man
00:07:03.400 who was charming and seductive to this beautiful woman,
00:07:07.640 and who had the right stuff to be head of state.
00:07:10.660 Even with just that narrative, the age difference,
00:07:16.960 it's very strange to think that the media would not have further questions,
00:07:21.680 and yet they sort of presented this couple as a love story,
00:07:27.160 a modern love story of a woman who left her family because she fell so in love with a student.
00:07:33.900 But then you were able to determine that even the ages that they were presenting to the public
00:07:40.220 were not correct of when they fell in love.
00:07:43.540 Is that right?
00:07:45.120 A senior journalist in French public television wrote a book proposing
00:07:49.140 and confronting all the narratives about how they met.
00:07:52.640 This included information that Brigitte Macron had been his theater professor,
00:07:56.780 not his French professor,
00:07:58.220 and that he was in fact 14 and she 39 when they initially met.
00:08:03.900 So, in essence, it was a case of an adult involved with a minor.
00:08:11.540 After having gathered all published photos of Brigitte Macron,
00:08:16.180 we concluded that there was no clear continuum of her physical appearance throughout the years.
00:08:21.900 The press touted many members of the Trogno family,
00:08:26.100 Brigitte's family, to the French electorate,
00:08:29.040 comparing them to the Kennedys,
00:08:30.620 and not just a family of chocolate makers from Amiens, north of Paris.
00:08:35.840 All the biographies published emphasized the members of the family
00:08:40.080 for the simple fact that Macron is a technocrat.
00:08:44.580 So, to balance this,
00:08:46.640 the media was selling an image of a family which was really grounded in the country,
00:08:52.080 grounded in real France.
00:08:53.800 Even with all this,
00:08:58.620 we discovered that there was one brother,
00:09:01.240 Jean-Michel Trogno,
00:09:02.600 who did not appear in any of the biographies.
00:09:06.080 I asked all my contacts,
00:09:08.000 do you have anything on Brigitte?
00:09:10.520 And in particular,
00:09:11.600 one of my contacts, who is a civil servant,
00:09:14.460 looked at me with a grin and said,
00:09:16.260 he's a man.
00:09:18.060 Well, if this is true,
00:09:20.000 then who is this man?
00:09:22.300 So, the official biographies should be rewritten.
00:09:25.640 One of my contacts told me about Natasha Ray,
00:09:28.520 a journalist who was able to explain and establish
00:09:31.040 that Brigitte is a man.
00:09:33.680 I contacted this Natasha Ray,
00:09:36.160 and it turned out she was not a journalist,
00:09:38.800 just a concerned citizen who,
00:09:41.160 like me and like others,
00:09:43.020 had asked questions about Brigitte Macron,
00:09:45.020 and who had compiled evidence,
00:09:47.680 and had started from the hypothesis
00:09:49.320 that it was a man.
00:09:51.760 While looking at the material,
00:09:53.500 she had found in the family photo
00:09:55.360 a little boy who was this hidden brother
00:09:58.160 whom I had already identified,
00:10:00.640 but hadn't yet matched a face to,
00:10:03.060 and who was indeed Jean-Michel Trogno.
00:10:06.640 So we agreed that I would publish her findings
00:10:09.320 in this investigation.
00:10:10.380 Wow, and just so my audience is clear,
00:10:15.520 Natasha Ray is the one that the media
00:10:17.580 is trying to present
00:10:19.220 as the person who published the document.
00:10:21.060 She is the one that is currently being sued.
00:10:22.940 We're going to discuss the actual reason
00:10:24.460 she's being sued for,
00:10:26.320 but Xavier Poussard is not being sued
00:10:28.460 for libel in France whatsoever.

00:10:57.060 that Brigitte looked like the person
00:10:58.860 on the left in the family photo.

00:11:03.940 We're told that Brigitte is the person
00:11:05.840 that's sitting on her mother's lap,
00:11:09.160 but it's very clear to me
00:11:10.060 that Brigitte looks exactly
00:11:11.300 like the person on the left,

00:11:13.580 the Jean-Michel Trogneau thesis.
00:11:16.920 And then they presented this second photo,
00:11:19.500 which is very clearly a recolorized photo,
00:11:22.180 which looks exactly like Brigitte's daughter,
00:11:26.720 who he fathered, Tifon.
00:11:29.320 And I just thought it was amazing
00:11:30.340 that they were trying to pass off these fake photos,
00:11:33.920 which is bizarre.
00:11:36.160 So the legend, as you were just explaining,
00:11:39.620 is that, oh, they fell in love
00:11:42.160 when they were in school.
00:11:43.400 It was lovely.

00:11:45.260 Brigitte's from a small town in Amiens,
00:11:47.780 from her family were in the chocolate industry.

00:11:52.640 you start realizing none of this is real.

00:12:18.640 Now, this photo is indeed Brigitte Trogneau,
00:12:21.860 and this is where it becomes interesting.
00:12:25.020 It is a fact that Jean-Michel Trogneau
00:12:27.300 is an individual who calls himself Brigitte
00:12:30.360 and has assumed the identity of his younger sister,
00:12:34.100 Brigitte Trogneau.
00:12:35.560 I'll summarize my conclusions from this as follows.
00:12:39.120 The girl in white, the communicant,
00:12:42.120 is Brigitte Trogneau.
00:12:44.120 The central problem is that Brigitte,
00:12:46.500 this so-called Brigitte,
00:12:48.460 is not Brigitte Trogneau.
00:12:51.160 It's her brother, Jean-Michel Trogneau.
00:12:54.480 As soon as we started working with Natasha,
00:12:56.980 she was immediately taken into custody
00:12:58.980 and detained in a police station for this investigation.
