00:01:20.620 single biggest issue that moved moderate voters to the Republican side was the issue of transgenderism.

00:01:43.060 Hill was a professor at Temple University. So he was qualified to teach students. You send

00:01:49.240 your kid to university and they could have encountered Mark Lamont Hill at Temple University

00:01:55.100 campus. He was an educator. Assumption that he was quite educated. I asked him some very basic

00:02:01.920 biological questions about the differences between males and females, and he seemed to

00:02:06.740 get a little bit tripped up. Here is how he responded.

00:02:37.520 debates. But I don't think that we ever want to enter a space where we deny the humanity. And I'm

00:02:42.980 not saying you are, but to deny the humanity or the experiences of other people.

00:02:54.260 he believed that men could get their period. And I was just aghast at the fact that I was

00:02:57.380 sitting across from a university professor who said that unflinchingly. And his point there is

00:03:03.460 all about compassion. So that is really the debate. Have we been, and when I say we, I mean

00:03:08.140 conservatives, have we been denying humanity or have others been denying reality? Well, I can tell you

00:03:15.320 that social media companies took his side in that debate over the years. They began mandating

00:03:20.440 compassion, really. Compassion. I'm putting that in air quotations because that's always the excuse.

00:03:26.300 It's about being compassionate and understanding. And on YouTube, as just one example, you could and

00:03:32.140 still can receive strikes and lose your entire platform if you misgender someone like Dylan Mulvaney,

00:03:40.040 as just one example. If you do not refer to Dylan Mulvaney with the correct

00:03:44.980 pronouns, you will get hit with a strike for hate. Or Biden's former nuclear waste

00:03:50.260 official. Remember this individual, Sam Brinton? Yeah. Well, the message from social

00:03:55.940 media companies was quite clear. Their lifestyles are not problematic. Our

00:04:00.360 interpretations of their lifestyles are what is actually problematic. So you fast forward

00:04:05.000 four years to now and Donald Trump beats Kamala Harris handily. And suddenly the topic of

00:04:09.800 transgenderism is again being debated. People are wondering, did such speech mandates ultimately

00:04:15.020 help or hurt Kamala's cause? Because there were a ton of them. Fact checkers, the police,

00:04:20.680 the moral police, the feelings police. Did supporting transgendered athletes and women losing out to

00:04:27.080 biological men in sports competitions actually work to bring people over to the Democratic Party?

00:04:32.880 Well, in the immediate wake of the election results, I offered that transgenderism may have been a bridge

00:04:38.280 too far for many moderates, like my sisters, who voted Republican for the very first time. But again,

00:04:45.060 Mark Lamont Hill and I, when we were matched up on Piers Morgan, we just could not find common

00:04:50.660 ground on this assessment. Take a listen.

00:04:53.500 My sisters were on the left, and this is the first election that they voted for Trump. They're,

00:05:10.640 completely crazy and bizarre that they're insisting upon trying to make toddlers. My sisters have

00:05:15.700 toddlers believe that they can be anything that they want and that they're non-binary. They truly

00:05:19.900 believe the left has gone crazy. And they say, I didn't leave the left, the left left me. And that

00:05:24.680 is an accurate statement to make because they cannot just see things that are just so plainly obvious.

00:05:30.020 They are trying to criminalize the idea that a woman is a woman and you can't just become a woman

00:05:34.940 because you feel a certain way on the inside. And the right, like I'm doing right now, I will just

00:05:59.660 presidential race towards the end was the one where he had Kamala Harris saying, she'll call you they,

00:06:05.220 them. I'll call you, you, you or whatever it was. And that turned out to be, to the Trump campaign

00:06:12.200 team's surprise, one of their most effective ads of the whole race, apparently, which suggests it is

00:06:17.560 a much bigger issue than some Democrats clearly want people to think. I'm not sure anyone. And again,

00:06:23.500 I need to see the data to speak to this, just as we all should. I don't think anyone is voting for

00:06:29.140 the president based on this issue. It could be it could be an issue that tips the scale. But I think

00:06:32.620 most people aren't voting for president based on this. I just don't think it's the priority issue

00:06:36.080 of most people. Mothers are. I do. Again, they may be. I'd like to see the evidence of that. I can't

00:06:43.040 say definitively one way or the other, but I it's never happened before in any election. So this would

00:06:47.080 be the first time. So if it's true, just show me the evidence. And I'm happy to learn from it.

00:07:10.840 detailed look at what Democrats need to do to win in 2024. And so they were actually polling people.

00:07:23.900 to voters, all voters, swing voters, black voters, swing voters that chose Trump and Latino voters

00:07:29.520 about the topics that they cared the most about. So what you're seeing in that chart that's dark

00:07:34.540 green means that this was the most important thing to all voters. And number three, you look at that

00:07:41.260 column. Number three, you see Kamala Harris is focused more on cultural issues like transgendered

00:07:48.100 issues rather than helping the middle class. So yes, this was a very important issue to people

00:07:56.000 that were moderate, to people that were on the left, and it brought them over. The Dems caring more

00:08:02.160 about social causes than worrying about reality, gas prices, groceries. And by the way, in case you

00:08:08.100 missed it, here is the Trump campaign ad that proved to be the single most effective ad of the

00:08:12.880 entire Trump campaign. Take a look. Kamala supports taxpayer funded sex changes for prisoners. Surgery.

00:09:22.960 have been indoctrinated about. And I'll give you a perfect example. So this morning, I always talk to my

00:09:26.260 sisters on the phone when I go for a walk. I'm talking to my little sister on the phone,

00:09:29.560 and we're speaking about this. And I'm not kidding when I say that I broke her brain when

00:09:35.440 I started speaking to her about the truth regarding the Laramie Project, the Matthew

00:09:39.760 Shepard story. Now, I'm just going to riff on this in case you guys are not familiar with who

00:09:45.080 Matt Shepard was or what the Laramie Project was. I don't know if this was just Northeastern

00:09:49.400 indoctrination, but essentially when I was in high school, we were all made to learn the story in

00:09:55.240 our classrooms about a gay kid named Matthew Laramie, a gay guy named Matthew Laramie,

00:09:59.780 who was killed back in 1998. In fact, the drama class, the drama students rather put on a play

00:10:06.240 called the Laramie Project. There was even a day where students were supposed to be silent all day.

00:10:13.160 Like I was supposed to be this like silence. We are all recognizing this hate crime that happened

00:10:18.740 to a gay man and you were supposed to wear a certain color and be quiet to sort of honor

00:10:24.500 this horrific thing that happened to Matthew Shepard. I am talking focused indoctrination in

00:10:30.460 the classroom. Anybody that didn't participate in it was like, what's wrong with you? Do you hate gay

00:10:34.240 people? Like why aren't you choosing to be silent today and participating in this? Don't you know what

00:10:40.840 happened to Matthew Shepard? Then you all have to go watch the play, the Laramie Project to learn about

00:10:45.780 what happened. And here's a story that we were told, okay? So back in 1998, this took place in

00:10:51.000 Laramie, Wyoming. Allegedly the worst anti-gay hate crime took place in American history. There was this

00:10:59.440 young man named Matthew Shepard who was homosexual and he was beaten by two assailants. I'm showing you

00:11:06.140 them right now, Aaron McKinney and Russell Henderson. They pistol whipped him with a gun, then they tied him

00:11:11.240 to offense in freezing conditions and they set fire to him before leaving him to die, all because he

00:11:18.220 was gay. Except apparently that is not the entire truth. Check out this headline in The Guardian

00:11:27.080 because it's quite shocking to read this headline and to read what they chose to put under it.

00:11:30.760 The truth behind America's most famous gay hate murder. And then they write,

00:11:35.340 Matthew Shepard's horrific death at the hands of redneck homophobes shocked America and changed its

00:11:41.680 laws. Now a different truth is emerging, but does it matter? I love that. Julie Bindle was like,

00:11:48.260 okay, so now we're learning the truth, but does it even matter? We got laws changed. Plays are being

00:11:53.560 done. We have kids being indoctrinated. Does it actually matter what the truth is? Well, I'm going to

00:11:59.080 tell you what the truth is because I realized my sister didn't know it. There might be tons of people who

00:12:02.140 are first time listeners to the Candace Owens show. Maybe they don't know it, but yeah. The lie was

00:12:07.640 actually exposed by a gay journalist. His name is Stephen Jimenez. And he investigated the Matthew

00:12:15.520 Laramie case for 13 years. Matthew Shepard case, pardon me, for 13 years. Interviewed more than 100

00:12:21.460 people that were connected to the case. And then he published his findings in a book entitled The Book

00:12:26.680 of Matt. And boy, he did not expect the hate that he received, not just from Guardian writers,

00:12:31.180 but from left-wing writers. How could you do this as a gay man? How could you publish this?

00:12:36.640 How could you publish the truth? Well, what did he discover? Well, this is directly from that Guardian

00:12:40.820 article. Jimenez found that Matthew Shepard was addicted to and dealing crystal meth and had dabbled

00:12:47.620 in heroin. He also took significant sexual risks and was being pimped alongside Aaron McKinney,

00:12:55.080 one of his killers with whom he had had occasional sexual encounters with. He was HIV positive at the

00:13:03.560 time of his death. Matthew's drug abuse and the fact that he knew one of his killers prior to the

00:13:08.920 attack was never explored in court. Neither was the rumor that the killers knew that he, Matthew Shepard,

00:13:16.180 had access to a shipment of crystal meth with a street value of $10,000, which they wanted to steal.

00:13:23.660 Well, Jimenez, the journalist, told other journalists this regarding his book. He said,

00:13:29.940 quote,

00:13:30.660 The view was that homophobic rednecks walked into a bar and saw an obviously gay man with money

00:13:36.480 and targeted him and beat him to death for that reason. That isn't what happened. Nothing in this

00:13:42.240 book takes away from the iniquity and brutality of the crime or the culpability of his murderers,

00:13:46.500 but we owe Matthew and other young men like him the truth. And what is the truth? The truth

00:13:51.440 is that Aaron, the murderer, and Matthew, the victim, had a friendship. They had been involved

00:13:57.360 sexually. They bought and sold drugs from each other. That complicates the original story of two

00:14:03.660 strangers walking into a bar and targeting Matthew, someone that they did not know because he was gay.

00:14:08.760 Are you comprehending what I am saying here to you guys? They got laws passed. They blame this,

00:14:14.640 of course, as always, on rednecks, conservatives. They walked into this bar, they saw a gay guy,

00:14:18.760 and they decided to kill him and chain him to a fence just because he was gay. We're going to

00:14:22.280 leave out the part that actually the killer knew him and that actually the killer himself was also

00:14:25.740 a homosexual who was sleeping with him and who knew that he had crystal meth on him because

00:14:30.660 he was also dealing. The police officer who found Matthew Shepard's shoes, his truck, and his wallet

00:14:38.600 and wound up arresting one of his killers was a man named Officer Flint Waters. There's a photo of him

00:14:44.900 right here. Waters praised the book, saying this, quote, I spoke to Waters. This is what the

00:14:50.680 journalist said. I spoke to Waters, who has since retired from the police, having seen him praise

00:14:56.300 the book on Matt on social media. He said this, I believe to this day that McKinney and Henderson

00:15:02.980 were trying to find Matthew's house so they could steal his drugs. It was fairly well known in the

00:15:08.680 Laramie community that McKinney wouldn't be the one that was striking out of a sense of homophobia.

00:15:15.020 Some of the officers I worked with had caught him in a sexual act with another man, so it didn't fit.

00:15:19.280 None of that ever made any sense. How crazy is that to think what the world was like before social

00:15:24.840 media? We're talking about 1998. The fact that they were able to perpetuate this hoax on the public

00:15:30.440 in order to actually fulfill their initiatives of wanting to get hate crime laws passed. This horrific

00:15:37.040 murder, and like I said, no question, the journalist is correct, this was a horrific murder, but this

00:15:41.740 murder happened by a gay man and a person that he had been having a homosexual relationship with,

00:15:49.300 who he shared drugs with and sold drugs with from time to time. It's really, it's sickening to look

00:15:55.400 back and to realize that we too were indoctrinated. My sister coming undone about this, going like,

00:16:00.220 I thought it was just them that were being indoctrinated about the trans stuff, and that's why I moved over

00:16:03.980 the conservative side. Once you start with one issue and you work your way backward, you realize

00:18:03.820 yesterday's episode, essentially there has been this problematic star named Rachel Zelger. She's

00:18:08.560 23 years old. She's very young, obviously, and she has a huge platform because she was sort of made

00:18:14.440 famous by Steven Spielberg. I think he cast her for the West Side Story. She's talented. People like her.

00:18:20.080 And of course, they get a platform and they just start talking-ish, especially to conservatives.

00:18:24.280 So she published this in the wake. And by the way, it was a four-part series, vitriolic series that was

00:18:31.040 aimed at Trump supporters. And she published this, which I just want to show you. I find myself

00:18:36.440 speechless in the midst of this, yada, yada, yada. This sentence here is quite shocking now in the

00:18:41.560 retrospect. I didn't catch this yesterday. She wrote, leaning us towards a world that will be hard to

00:18:46.460 raise my daughter in, leading us towards a world that will force her to have a baby that she doesn't

00:18:51.680 want, leading us towards a world that is fearful. So just to hit pause on that part before we get to

00:18:56.700 the bottom, people brought to my attention the fact that she doesn't have a daughter, okay? So her whole

00:19:02.020 bit, she's so angry about this idea that her daughter can't have abortion. She's speaking about

00:19:07.040 her future daughter, her someday daughter. Like she is distraught and coming undone because the

00:19:12.880 daughter that she doesn't have, if she chooses life, because obviously she's so pro-abortion, maybe she's

00:19:17.080 just going to abort her own offspring. She is creating this message and having a meltdown because her

00:20:22.080 goes on to essentially say that she hopes that Trump and his supporters never have any peace. That's just

00:21:13.840 that is paying Rachel Zegler to beat Snow White fired Gina Carano the first time around when things

00:21:20.460 were happening with COVID and they were kind of treating the unvaxxed, like, I don't know,

00:21:24.660 like we were all crazy and she'd be second-class citizens. This is what Gina Carano posted that got

00:21:30.060 her fired from Disney. Okay? She wrote, Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers,

00:21:36.080 but by their neighbors, even by children. Sad face. Because history is edited. This is a quote,

00:21:41.360 by the way. It's not coming from her. Because history is edited, most people today don't realize

00:21:45.120 that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews,

00:21:49.360 the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any

00:21:54.740 different from hating someone for their political views? End quotation. So her point here is that

00:22:01.700 we're becoming so hateful about political views that we're starting to hate our neighbors and

00:22:05.040 that's not good. History tells us that's not good. Disney saw this and they said, you're fired.

00:22:09.400 Okay? Rachel is now explicitly calling for Trump supporters to be harmed, to experience

00:22:12.700 disturbances throughout their entire life, and it's crickets. And so obviously they then put pressure on

00:22:18.020 her to apologize. And here's what she offered up on Instagram last night, which really set me off.

00:22:23.860 Hi, everyone. I would like to sincerely apologize for the election post I shared on my Instagram

00:22:28.360 last week. I let my emotions get the best of me. Hatred and anger have caused us to move further

00:22:33.420 and further away from peace and understanding, and I am sorry that I contributed to the negative

00:22:37.800 discourse. This week has been emotional for so many of us, but I firmly believe that everyone has

00:22:42.060 the right to their opinion. Even when it differs from my own, I am committed to contributing

00:33:05.100 some of the worst outcomes in the developed world. And our food supply and other things are partly to

00:33:11.740 blame, things that he's talked about. So there's these kernels of agreement with regard to the medical

00:33:18.260 establishment and the public health establishment in particular. But then there's these other things

00:33:23.180 like Caitlin was just talking about that are not alternative views. They are false views.
