00:00:00.000 All right, you guys. Happy Monday. I hope you all had a great weekend. We have a lot to get into. I think we should definitely start, by the way, with Russell Brand. Did you guys see the news over the weekend? He's been charged with rape and sexual assaults in the U.K. for incidents that are stemming back to 1999. I'm dying to hear what you guys think about that.
00:00:19.540 It really comes down to, I think, an interesting debate that needs to be had about the statute of limitations, which do not exist in the U.K., hence the charges. Also, Joe Rogan has paid us a massive podcast compliment. Sort of. He called me a monster, but in a good way, I promise you.
00:00:35.640 And there is also evidence, circumstantial evidence, that Ryan Reynolds authored the infamous dragon text message. Remember Taylor, one of our dragons? I think Ryan Reynolds was the one who wrote that, and I'll tell you why. Let's get right into it. Welcome back to Candace.
00:01:05.640 All right, so where should we begin? Let me take you guys back on a trip to 1999, okay? Let's just all get into the time machine. I was 10 years old. The number one song in the United States was TLC's No Scrub. Take a listen.
00:01:22.640 Yep, I know that that is now going to be stuck in your head for the rest of the day. I'm sorry. I'm not sorry, actually. This was a great time, great song. Also, Britney Spears, let's not forget, she was just beginning to top the charts. She came out with her first song, her debut song, Baby One More Time. Remember this?
00:01:52.640 Man, that actually makes me sad. She looks so young, so innocent. So much has changed, gosh, in just 25 years. Britney Spears, you had to be Team Christina or Team Britney. Christina also came out that year with her debut song, Genie in the Bottle. Also, the number one movie, or movie that had just come out, rather, it wasn't number one just yet, was The Matrix, which I feel like we're maybe living in right now, but remember this?
00:02:17.340 You take the blue pill. The story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill. You stay in Wonderland. And I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
00:02:31.700 Sometimes I really wish that I had just taken the blue pill. My life would be so simple if I had just taken the blue pill, but I kind of snorted the red pill. And here we all are.
00:02:40.900 When it comes to technology, the internet was relatively new, definitely a new phenomenon. We were using broadband and high-speed dial-up via cable modems.
00:02:50.820 We all remember the sound. That was maybe not the best sound effect there, but you know what I'm saying, when you were trying to dial up and connect.
00:02:59.100 And that was really just the beginning of the internet becoming widely available to everyone.
00:03:03.500 And let's also not forget in 1999 that we were planning for Y2K, the apocalypse. Everybody was terrified.
00:03:10.140 I was 10, and I remember hearing so much chatter about whether or not the world was going to end.
00:03:14.920 And for a 10-year-old, that's quite frightening. So I was terrified. I just remember being terrified.
00:03:20.820 For whatever reason, we thought we were like Cinderella at the stroke of midnight on New Year's Day.
00:03:25.800 We were all just going to go poof.
00:03:27.680 In terms of politics, Bill Clinton had just been acquitted in his impeachment trials for his affair with Monica Lewinsky.
00:03:36.560 And the very first camera phone, not to be confused with a flip phone or an iPhone, but the very first camera phone was introduced in Japan.
00:03:44.640 And here is what it looked like. It was called a mobile video phone.
00:03:49.120 And in terms of, if you're wondering, what about cell phones? Nope, we weren't there yet.
00:03:52.660 The company Research in Motion, also known as RIM, which would later on become BlackBerry, released a pager that could receive emails in 1999.
00:04:02.320 So that was like, whoa, your pager can receive an email.
00:04:06.820 Another thing that's kind of weird to think about is you were allowed to just get on the airplane.
00:04:11.880 Yeah, 9-11 hadn't happened. So you could just meet your friends at the airport gate, like the old school movies, hold up a sign.
00:04:20.320 This was the land before security checks. Now we're effectively strip searched.
00:04:25.360 It just feels like it really was just a different time.
00:04:27.960 It's hard to imagine a world with beeper pagers.
00:04:31.360 And I have to be honest, if you know, if you watch the show, I'm totally nostalgic for that.
00:04:34.760 If I'm being completely honest, it seems like things were much simpler.
00:04:38.900 Now to be very clear, that was 26 years ago.
00:04:42.560 It really does feel like a lifetime ago.
00:04:45.140 Whoever you are today, you likely don't even recognize or remember who you were then.
00:04:49.680 Your brain, like mine, may not have even been developed.
00:04:53.200 And that was my exact thought when I saw this headline pop up.
00:04:56.200 Russell Brand has been charged with multiple accounts of rape and sexual assault in the United Kingdom,
00:05:03.280 coming from incidents which took place in 1999.
00:05:08.160 Okay.
00:05:09.120 Starting in 1999, ending in 2003.
00:05:12.460 A couple of things that I'm just going to say right off the bat.
00:05:14.840 I'm always honest and upfront with you guys about any biases I may have.
00:05:18.340 Obviously, I've had the pleasure of getting to know this current iteration of Russell Brand.
00:05:22.940 The Russell Brand that is today 50 years old.
00:05:25.880 He's now a baptized Christian.
00:05:27.940 You guys know he's a part of the story, a crazy part of the Cupid story of how I met my husband.
00:05:33.840 I was doing a podcast with Russell Brand for three hours.
00:05:37.160 I was late to meet my husband, late to meet the rest of my life, so to speak.
00:05:42.140 And he was fantastic.
00:05:43.680 I had a great time with him.
00:05:44.960 And I have seen him thereafter, watched him grow spiritually,
00:05:49.420 watched him grow from a communist, really, to the person that he is today that's praying the rosary every day.
00:05:56.840 But we all know that Russell Brand was not always the person that he is today.
00:06:01.340 How do we know?
00:06:01.840 Because Russell Brand wrote all about it.
00:06:03.680 He told us all about it.
00:06:05.260 He had an autobiography that was published back in 2007 entitled, My Bookie Wookiee.
00:06:11.300 And in the book, he detailed his troubled childhood, his past drug addictions.
00:06:16.080 We learned from Russell that he struggled with bulimia, that he ran away from home when he was 14 years old,
00:06:21.580 and that by the age of 16, he started experimenting with drugs like cannabis, LSD, ecstasy, you name it, amphetamines.
00:06:29.280 We also know from Russell Brand that he struggled with sex addiction.
00:06:32.100 That was a big part of the picture for him.
00:06:34.320 And like I said, all of these descriptions are a very far cry from the Russell Brand that I know today.
00:06:40.160 And despite him having published this book in 2007, admitting to all of his prior faults and addictions,
00:06:48.000 and despite Russell Brand then taking Hollywood by storm.
00:06:52.120 And when I say taking Hollywood by storm, I mean not just in the movies that we grew to love, forgetting Sarah Marshall, you name it.
00:06:58.300 He also married Katy Perry, a pop star.
00:07:00.920 He has been in the public eye, the point I am making here, for decades, in movies, as a television anchor.
00:07:07.680 And yet no allegations regarding his past behavior had ever surfaced, not until September of 2023.
00:07:15.900 And here's what happened, in case you don't remember.
00:07:17.200 In September of 2023, Channel 4, the UK, and the Sunday Times in the UK dropped a devastating investigative piece
00:07:25.860 with claims from four different women, and they were alleging that they had been sexually assaulted or raped by Russell Brand between 2006 and 2013.
00:07:36.920 I just want to be very clear here because that might be confusing to you.
00:07:39.460 The current case that just happened in the UK, that is not featuring these women that spoke with Channel 4 and the Sunday Times back in 2023.
00:07:49.680 But it is the reason that this current case exists.
00:07:53.440 It was because of this piece, this investigative piece, that other women were allegedly inspired to reach out to the London Metro Police with their own claims,
00:08:03.700 their own memories, stemming from incidents that occurred between 1999 and 2004.
00:08:09.240 And the London Metropolitan Police announced that they are now acting on those claims,
00:08:14.320 moving to charge Russell Brand with one count of rape, oral rape and indecent assault,
00:08:19.560 and two other counts of sexual assault.
00:08:22.180 What are your thoughts?
00:08:25.260 I actually genuinely need to hear your thoughts on that in the comments.
00:08:30.160 What are you thinking when you hear something like that?
00:08:32.000 And I know that they're going to be all over the spectrum.
00:08:35.160 Let's at first listen to what Russell Brand had to say for himself when the news broke.
00:08:39.660 Here he is.
00:08:40.180 I've always told you guys that when I was young and single, before I had my wife and family, we were just out of shot over there, my beautiful children.
00:08:49.040 I was a fool, man.
00:08:50.600 I was a fool before I lived in the light of the Lord.
00:08:53.960 I was a drug addict, a sex addict and an imbecile.
00:08:56.900 But what I never was, was a rapist.
00:09:00.120 I've never engaged in non-consensual activity.
00:09:02.380 I pray that you can see that by looking in my eyes.
00:09:05.440 I want to thank all of you for your continuing support.
00:09:07.860 I want to let you know that our show will be on Rumble on Monday.
00:09:11.360 Thanks for your support there.
00:09:13.300 And of course, I'm now going to have the opportunity to defend these charges in court.
00:09:17.200 And I'm incredibly grateful for that.
00:09:18.880 In the meantime, you lot, stay free and we will be continuing to discuss this matter.
00:09:25.100 Praise the Lord.
00:09:26.480 So he seems calm and he seems collected.
00:09:28.620 And I think he's asking some very meaningful questions that we have been asking a lot on this show as well.
00:09:33.120 Like, have we just begun weaponizing the government?
00:09:35.800 It is kind of incredible when you weigh it against the cases that aren't pursued.
00:09:39.260 We think about Jeffrey Epstein.
00:09:40.660 We think about the fact that we still can't get the client list, that we have politicians who are roaming free.
00:09:45.220 When we think about the fact that Emmanuel Macron and Brigitte are in charge of France, it's just something really sadistic and wrong is going on there.
00:09:55.760 And then you do start to see more and more that you have individuals who seem to have upset the government one way or other.
00:10:04.320 And all of a sudden, allegations come out.
00:10:06.440 That's how it seems to me, at least.
00:10:08.440 And I'll tell you some more of my thoughts here.
00:10:10.180 I think the statute of limitations for crimes has always been controversial.
00:10:16.420 And I do see both sides of the argument.
00:10:17.820 To be clear, first and foremost, how do you defend yourself when you are being accused of something that you did 26 years ago?
00:10:26.840 I mean, really think about that.
00:10:28.840 How on earth are you supposed to defend yourself?
00:10:30.420 You could, where I live doesn't even exist anymore.
00:10:33.620 Buildings are taken down.
00:10:34.900 This is really the time before you could have all of this evidence that you could maybe pull and say, actually, no, I wasn't there.
00:10:42.120 You can check my cell phone data or here I am actually proving to you that I was somewhere else when she says that I was there because you don't remember where you were 26 years ago.
00:10:52.100 That's really difficult for the defense to try to come up with something when they don't even know that they're being accused of something until 26 years on.
00:10:58.960 Now, on the flip side of that, you might say, well, no one would say, well, so what?
00:11:04.580 We know it happened, but he got away with it.
00:11:07.200 Who cares?
00:11:07.920 No one cares that you were raped or sexually assaulted because it's been more than two years.
00:11:15.020 It's weird, right?
00:11:16.040 It's like a push and a pull here where you just don't know which side is more rational.
00:11:19.140 But I do think it is reasonable to expect someone to, at the very least, report a crime before 25 years.
00:11:27.460 I think that's a reasonable expectation to say, at least report the crime before 25 years.
00:11:32.280 Because if, and by the way, this may be the circumstance, if someone does report it and the police fail to act on it, or if maybe technology advances, you see a lot of these in criminal scenarios where they'll be like, well, we didn't have the technology.
00:11:45.860 Now we have a DNA technology and we can arrest this guy 20 years later and that feels good and you applaud.
00:11:50.720 But if the crime wasn't even reported, I don't know.
00:11:54.880 I really don't know.
00:11:55.940 I also want to say that I think about how unfathomable it must be for Russell Brand's wife.
00:12:02.640 I couldn't even imagine, right?
00:12:03.520 I'm about to birth to my fourth child and I can't imagine that 20 years from now, George and I get a phone call from the police in London and they're like, you know what?
00:12:14.980 We've got George in for a crime that he committed 26 years ago.
00:12:18.160 I mean, that would just completely rip a hole through your life that you have to fight this.
00:12:23.060 And knowing that your children, what are your children going to think about this?
00:12:26.300 What are the children going to think about their father?
00:12:29.760 You've got to just go to court and do your best to try to prove your innocence if you are in fact innocent.
00:12:35.180 Right now, I want to be clear.
00:12:37.600 We do not know the details of these specific cases in the UK.
00:12:41.300 We should find them out in a limited time.
00:12:43.440 The women very well, like I said, may have reported it back in 99.
00:12:47.140 The current articles that I'm reading doesn't make it seem like it.
00:12:49.940 It seems more like they got inspired by something that was in the press and then they decided to come forward.
00:12:56.020 But they may have like, let's keep it open.
00:12:58.960 They may have concrete evidence.
00:13:00.780 They may have been keeping concrete evidence throughout this entire time.
00:13:04.580 Maybe they had a beeper email or a regular email between themselves and Russell.
00:13:09.500 Who knows?
00:13:10.020 We can't really judge the situation until we have more information.
00:13:13.120 But I do think it's worth us just discussing as a society why it seems to be the picture
00:13:17.640 that when people are drug addicts and they are, you know, dealing with mental psychoses and things of that nature,
00:13:28.660 Hollywood loves them.
00:13:30.340 They love them.
00:13:31.280 They celebrate them.
00:13:32.580 They celebrate them stumbling out of the club drunk, making it seem like it's all cool.
00:13:37.040 And then it routinely feels like when those individuals start to clean up their lives,
00:13:42.380 Hollywood comes knocking, you know.
00:13:44.460 So suddenly people are going, oh, that person that they seem like they've gone straight line.
00:13:48.740 Let me tell you about who this person really is.
00:13:50.400 Let me tell you about who this person was when they were an addict.
00:13:53.020 I find that to be something that doesn't feel authentic.
00:13:57.460 And again, zero judgment yet.
00:13:59.360 We don't know the details of this case.
00:14:00.700 We are obviously going to be watching this case, but I wanted to let you know that it's happening.
00:14:04.820 And Russell Brand, I consider him to be a friend of mine.
00:14:07.660 And so I will be covering this case extensively when we know more.
00:14:11.480 All right, guys, before I tell you a little update about Ryan Reynolds,
00:14:15.920 who may have been the author of the Dragon text,
00:14:19.100 I want to remind you about Good Ranchers because I know that we spend so much time
00:14:22.020 searching for truth in headlines and via conversations.
00:14:24.860 But how often do we stop and ask about what is on our plate?
00:14:28.540 The truth is most store-bought meat is shipped in from overseas,
00:14:31.700 even if it says product of the USA on it.
00:14:34.560 That's why I made the switch to GoodRanchers.com,

00:15:21.720 The IRS is, in fact, the largest collection agency in the world, sadly.
00:15:25.660 And with the April 15th deadline fast approaching, it's more aggressive than ever.
00:15:30.140 In 2025, enforcement has ramped up.
00:15:31.880 And if you owe back taxes or you have unfiled returns, waiting is not an option for you.
00:15:35.640 The longer you wait, the worse it's going to get.

00:16:22.220 Oh, I wanted to show you guys this.
00:16:23.220 This is really exciting.
00:16:24.060 This made my weekend very...
00:16:26.840 Obviously, I love Joe Rogan.
00:16:28.060 He's the biggest podcaster in the world.
00:16:29.580 And he recently had on Dave Smith, who's a buddy of mine who I absolutely adore as well.
00:16:34.800 And Joe Rogan has definitely been watching the show and getting into our content.
00:16:38.320 And him and Dave Smith were speaking about how much my content has changed over the last year
00:16:44.320 and how much they enjoy it.
00:16:45.960 And Joe Rogan said this.
00:16:47.260 So this is...
00:16:47.800 I think this is a humble brag a little bit.
00:16:49.840 But I was very excited and I wanted to share it with you guys,
00:16:52.000 because obviously this show is only successful because you guys watch it all the time.
00:16:56.280 So take a listen to what he had to say.
00:16:58.540 Candace Owens' show.
00:16:59.400 It's on YouTube.
00:17:00.320 Yeah, that's right.
00:17:01.320 And it's doing better numbers than any of the shows on cable news.
00:17:04.920 It's phenomenal.
00:17:07.000 It's like they created a monster with her.
00:17:09.220 When they fired her from the Daily Wire, they created a monster.
00:17:12.240 Yeah, they sure did.
00:17:13.120 She can't be stopped.
00:17:14.440 Yeah.
00:17:14.660 Oh, no, no, no.
00:17:15.300 There's no stopping Candace Owens at this point.
00:17:16.400 She's hitting all the f***ing third rails that no one wants to touch.
00:17:20.780 She's got a six-hour presentation on how Bridget McCrone is a man.
00:17:24.560 I know.
00:17:25.360 It's f***ing six hours plus long.
00:17:28.220 I don't know if she's even kind of right about that.
00:17:30.940 I think she's right.
00:17:31.480 But she's got a lot of s*** to say on it.
00:17:34.000 Bro, she would be getting sued right now instead of trying to bribe her.
00:17:39.080 Instead of trying to give her money to shut the f*** up.
00:17:41.420 Yeah.
00:17:41.840 They would sue her.
00:17:42.640 Yeah.
00:17:42.960 No, you're probably right about that.
00:17:44.640 I don't know if they are suing her.
00:17:45.760 Have they tried to file anything?
00:17:48.380 They probably have.
00:17:49.580 They probably filed some bulls*** lawsuits, too.
00:17:50.840 I'm sure she's dealing with several.
00:17:52.580 But I'm pretty sure she's right.
00:17:55.320 I don't know.
00:17:56.280 I might be wrong.
00:17:57.360 Yeah.
00:17:57.580 I think she's right.
00:17:58.180 The whole thing stinks.
00:17:59.360 And what stinks way worse than that giant distraction is that the number one opponent for
00:18:05.360 McCrone just got sentenced to four years in jail and barred from political life for
00:18:11.000 five years.
00:18:11.940 And the frontrunner, not just the number one opponent, the one who's winning.
00:18:14.660 Winning.
00:18:15.200 Yeah.
00:18:15.780 It's f***ing crazy.
00:18:17.800 It's what they try to do to Trump plus.
00:18:21.920 By the way, he is not lying.
00:18:23.400 There is so much that is happening in France right now that I actually said to my team,
00:18:27.660 we are going to have to do a Becoming Brigitte season two.
00:18:30.220 The updates that we have in that case, what has come out since.
00:18:33.580 And once again, the things that the mainstream media are completely neglecting to cover.
00:18:37.580 Someone else in the Trogno family has now been caught with huge pedo criminal network and
00:18:45.440 charges are being brought against him.
00:18:47.580 I mean, it's just completely insane.
00:18:49.340 And what's happening running alongside this is Emmanuel Macron has apparently lost his mind and he's just
00:18:54.680 threatening and going crazy because it's all coming down and people are recognizing that he's not a
00:18:59.440 serious leader.
00:19:00.040 And so he's trying to exert his power in really weird ways.
00:19:03.540 And I have some stories to tell you that I have had to keep my mouth shut about.
00:19:08.700 I really want to tell you guys and I really am going to tell you eventually.
00:19:12.740 But I'm thinking we're going to have to do a season two of Becoming Brigitte.
00:19:16.980 Anyways, that's not all that they had to say.
00:19:19.200 Here is what else they shared in their conversation.
00:19:23.060 We talked about Candace Owens before.
00:19:25.120 That's part of what her freaking, you know, boot camp before pissing off all the Israeli supporters
00:19:29.940 was that she's already been through the fire.
00:19:32.900 She's been an outspoken black female conservative.
00:19:36.740 And that's like they really hate that because they do kind of view you as like, which is f***ing
00:19:42.080 up in a way, but it really is kind of like you're, they decided that they're the champion
00:19:47.560 of women and black people.
00:19:48.940 And therefore, if you're a black woman, it's your responsibility to support these liberal
00:19:55.120 white women.
00:19:56.000 And she used to.
00:19:57.160 That's the thing about Candace.
00:19:58.380 Right.
00:19:58.560 She went from, she went from being a.
00:20:00.160 When she was very young, she was liberal.
00:20:01.640 And then she was also a hardcore Zionist at one point, like very big supporter of Israel
00:20:06.700 and then changed her mind on that.
00:20:08.880 But it is, you know, there there is a viciousness which with which those people get attacked.
00:20:15.620 I totally agree.
00:20:16.660 I think I was very much forged in fire because I felt like I wasn't allowed to critique BLM.
00:20:21.480 And now I do feel like we fast forwarded to a time where you're not really allowed to
00:20:24.640 critique Israel.
00:20:25.780 And it puts me in a weird spot.
00:20:27.480 And sometimes it makes people on the left or and the right not like what I'm saying.
00:20:31.240 But I've definitely, I think, formed my own opinions and I'm sticking to them.
00:20:37.040 And I try to just always do the right thing.
00:20:38.640 And I'm open to changing my mind.
00:20:40.060 I am open to changing my mind with new information.
00:20:42.840 But I think that people are definitely responding to the honesty and the freedom.
00:20:46.920 And this is the reason why the independent media has really taken over the corporate media
00:20:51.300 space.
00:20:52.480 Anyways, you guys, I want to move on from that.
00:20:54.140 I just was very excited about that because it's Joe Rogan and that's a very big deal.
00:20:57.160 And I think it's really cool that you guys have found the show.
00:20:59.780 And we're going to get into some of your comments later about me and Ian having that
00:21:02.940 conversation, which could have never, ever, ever happened on any corporate media show.
00:21:08.280 In fact, they hate that.
00:21:09.580 They hate people asking questions.
00:21:11.640 But before we get to those comments, I have to show you this.
00:21:15.640 This is super interesting.
00:21:16.200 You guys know that I have my tips box.
00:21:19.860 I was going through our tips email box.
00:21:22.100 You guys send me stuff at tips at canadsonwins.com.
00:21:25.400 The best stuff, by the way.
00:21:26.320 That's the reason why I get inspired to do the show.
00:21:28.120 And one of you guys sent me something really interesting about Ryan and Blake.
00:21:32.060 I got to present it to you guys real quickly.
00:21:34.120 So as you know, long ago when we were just getting into the lawsuit and understanding
00:21:38.180 all the players, I had theorized that a large portion of the emails that were written and
00:21:44.560 some of the text messages that we have seen throughout the lawsuit were actually being
00:21:47.660 authored by Ryan Reynolds.
00:21:50.220 There was just a certain decorum in some of the messages that he, I think he's authoring,
00:21:55.400 which deviate from the style of messages that Blake writes.
00:21:58.300 I've said this many times.
00:21:59.680 I'm not trying to be insulting, just being realistic.
00:22:02.100 Ryan is clever.
00:22:03.260 Blake, not so much.
00:22:04.460 And she's much more flirty.
00:22:06.060 And she just comes across as less focused.
00:22:08.480 I think she kind of thinks being cute is enough.
00:22:12.680 And somebody else should take care of things for her.
00:22:14.740 And she's a bit bratty.
00:22:15.560 And Ryan is always kind of trying to manipulate.
00:22:19.020 And he has this personality trait where he always sees himself as a character.
00:22:25.160 He always thinks he's a character.
00:22:27.420 But something that I had never imagined as I was theorizing all of these things was the
00:22:31.740 possibility that Ryan Reynolds and not Blake Lively was the one that offered the now infamous
00:22:38.680 Game of Thrones text message.
00:22:40.800 The one where these are my dragons and Ryan and Taylor are my dragons.
00:22:45.760 Never in a million years did I think that it was possible that Ryan Reynolds authored it
00:22:48.660 and not Blake.
00:22:49.580 Now we are at one in a million years because I fully think that it's plausible that he was
00:22:54.920 the one that authored it.
00:22:55.580 And I'll tell you why.
00:22:57.340 So way back when, when Blake Lively was promoting her movie, The Age of Adeline, she was starring
00:23:04.840 alongside in that flick with a guy who was in Game of Thrones.
00:23:08.720 His name was Mikhail Hausman.
00:23:12.040 And so while they were doing press for this movie, they were asking her questions about
00:23:17.560 whether or not she had ever seen Game of Thrones.
00:23:19.740 And just to be clear, they were Game of Thrones was just about to start its fifth season.
00:23:24.540 So it's fifth season.
00:23:25.800 And Blake Lively admitted that she had never seen it.
00:23:28.640 She basically told them, quote, my husband, I'm outing him and I shouldn't.
00:23:35.000 But he became obsessed with Game of Thrones.
00:23:37.100 She joked, he did everything that he could to pirate episodes that hadn't even been shot
00:23:41.700 yet.
00:23:42.160 So that was a little tough point in our marriage.
00:23:44.040 Now we're through it because there's a new season coming out.
00:23:46.800 And then right after she chatted with that E! News reporter, season five premiered.
00:23:52.100 So she had never seen it.
00:23:53.240 And then I had my producers go through her Twitter feed because, you know, her and Ryan
00:23:58.380 had back forth cute tweets to each other for a very long time.
00:24:01.240 People were following.
00:24:02.020 They were both very active on Twitter, as it was called then.
00:24:04.920 And there's no mention of Game of Thrones.
00:24:07.080 And typically, if you were someone that got into it, I got into it.
00:24:10.020 Everybody had something to say about the season finale.
00:24:13.360 Everybody had something to say about, you know, Cersei, Lannister, this or that.
00:24:17.420 Nothing from Blake Lively.
00:24:18.700 Nowhere else does she mention Game of Thrones being a fan of Game of Thrones.
00:24:22.140 So we know that for the first five seasons, she didn't watch it.
00:24:24.180 But her husband got obsessed, so obsessed, as he did get the same kind of obsession that
00:24:29.940 he had with Field of Dreams.
00:24:31.700 Remember, he talks about his obsession with Field of Dreams a lot, and he speaks about
00:24:35.440 it in interviews, how much he loves it.
00:24:37.360 Well, Game of Thrones was this same experience for him where it became a piece of his character
00:24:42.040 and he wanted to use it as he was promoting his Wrexham UK football team back in December
00:24:52.020 of 2023.
00:24:53.220 Take a listen.
00:24:53.920 I mean, this is so Ryan Reynolds.
00:25:08.940 He has this quality.
00:25:10.580 I'm thinking back, I'm like, obviously it was Ryan.
00:25:13.760 He gets obsessed.
00:25:15.440 Like, he just gets totally obsessed, and he likes to envision himself as these characters.
00:25:19.120 Like we said, Deadpool, he's not playing Deadpool.
00:25:22.540 He is Deadpool.
00:25:23.920 And for her to admit that he became obsessed with this, we know he's controlling and obsessive
00:25:27.840 and he likes to fancy himself as this big character.
00:25:31.000 Like he's constantly trying to escape who he actually is via these characters.
00:25:36.720 And I'm sure there is some psychological assessment or diagnosis here that we're missing that somebody
00:25:41.380 can tell us, because I've seen another person who's like this as well, where like they watch
00:25:45.380 a movie and they think, that's me.
00:25:46.920 This is actually who I am.
00:25:48.800 And they want to embody those individuals.
00:25:51.740 And so now you look back at this message and you remember something else.
00:25:55.660 The first time that Ryan Reynolds ever messaged Justin Baldoni, he was the one that name dropped
00:26:02.420 Taylor Swift, not Blake Lively.
00:26:04.020 The very first message that he ever authored, Justin Baldoni, he said this.
00:26:10.600 Now they blanked out her name, but Taylor would say the same.
00:26:14.700 Some of the greatest creative decisions that I've made are in fact Blake.
00:26:18.120 The same goes for Taylor.
00:26:20.680 The acting is a small piece of a pretty astounding patchwork quilt of creativity.
00:26:26.700 He's describing himself and Taylor Swift and saying that Blake has helped them make some of their
00:26:34.940 greatest decisions.
00:26:36.500 And that's actually what they reintroduce.
00:26:39.340 That's the same concept that's reintroduced in the now infamous Game of Thrones tweet that
00:26:44.380 Blake writes back to Justin Baldoni when he's like, hey, look, like, you know, you didn't have to
00:26:48.960 get, you didn't have to get Taylor Swift and your husband to gang up on me.
00:26:53.340 I liked your feedback on some of these edits and we could have worked together without,
00:26:58.480 you know, A-list bullying.
00:26:59.820 Essentially, that's what he was saying.
00:27:01.700 And what does he say?
00:27:03.040 Well, he says, I'm saying he now because I think it's Ryan.
00:27:06.700 Both Taylor and Ryan have established themselves as absolute titans as writers and storytellers
00:27:13.680 outside of their primary gig, just singing or just acting or just or Taylor just directing.
00:27:20.200 Maybe it says Ryan just directing.
00:27:21.460 I'm not sure who's blocked out there.
00:27:22.640 I'm so lucky to have them as creative barometers.
00:27:25.480 That's effectively the exact same sentence.
00:27:28.120 That's almost the exact same sentence rewritten that he first wrote to Justin Baldoni.
00:27:33.220 Three of us work together, the creative barometers.
00:27:36.020 That's not Blake Lively speaking.
00:27:37.940 Do you really think Blake Lively would talk about creative barometers?
00:27:41.020 That she would call them absolute titans?
00:27:42.760 I just don't feel like this is her vocabulary now that I'm revisiting these messages.
00:27:46.540 And then, of course, that message ends with her saying, if you ever get around to watching
00:27:49.720 Game of Thrones, you'll appreciate that I'm Khaleesi and like her, I happen to have a few
00:27:54.060 dragons.
00:27:54.680 And of course, Ryan probably fancies himself as Khaleesi.
00:27:59.520 I think that's probably the character that he felt the closest to.
00:28:04.400 I really do.
00:28:05.200 I think that deep inside, he wants to be a queen.
00:28:09.740 And I think he is a queen.
00:28:10.680 I think Ryan is Queen Khaleesi and that he authored this message because I don't think
00:28:16.780 Blake Lively has this extensive of a vocabulary on the basis of everything that I've ever seen
00:28:21.660 of her.
00:28:22.000 So I'm putting that theory out there.
00:28:23.880 I think we got that wrong.
00:28:25.520 And that what likely happened was Justin messaged her that and she's a bit lazy.
00:28:29.620 This is the woman that didn't even read the script.
00:28:31.540 Don't forget, infamously, she didn't even read the script for the movie that she was
00:28:35.900 going to be in.
00:28:36.700 And then suddenly she wanted to make a ton of changes.
00:28:38.500 And I think that was actually Ryan who read the script and wanted to make a ton of changes
00:28:42.160 for her, which he eventually, as we found out, did rewrite the entire first scene.
00:28:47.140 I mean, Blake has proven time and time again, she's quite lazy and she relies on others to
00:28:51.340 do work for her.
00:28:52.980 And it's likely that as soon as Justin messaged her that she ran over to Ryan and she was like,
00:28:57.480 look what he said.
00:28:58.040 And he was like, I've got this.
00:28:59.860 Creative Barometer.
00:29:02.080 Me, Tay Tay.
00:29:04.200 Khaleesi Dragons.
00:29:05.540 I am Khaleesi.
00:29:06.520 Don't mess with me or you will get burned.
00:29:08.920 Interesting theory.
00:29:09.700 Anyways, wanted to share it.
00:29:11.280 Want to remind you guys also about Pure Talk.
00:29:13.260 Do not get suckered into the same old free phone game by Big Wireless.

00:29:27.420 There's a better way.

00:30:05.580 Also, reminding you about American financing because interest rates have finally dropped.
00:30:09.940 It's time to take advantage of that.
00:30:11.140 A lot of Americans are struggling to keep up with everyday bills.
00:30:13.860 Eggs, coffee, you're reaching for the credit cards to pay for these things.
00:30:16.920 Well, if you're a homeowner, interest rates have fallen into the fives now.
00:30:19.420 That's nearly a quarter of the average credit card rate.
00:30:21.780 American financing is helping homeowners like you save an average of $800 a month by tapping
00:30:25.440 into your home's equity and wiping out high-interest debt.
00:30:28.160 And the best part is that there are no upfront fees to get started.
00:30:30.960 Credit card rates are insane.

00:30:52.220 That's AmericanFinancing.net slash Owens.
00:30:55.700 All right, you guys, let's get into some of your comments.
00:30:59.480 You guys loved me and Ian Carroll teaming up.
00:31:03.280 In fact, you guys, one of you guys, which was the most liked comment that we saw, Megan
00:31:07.680 wrote, love this duo.
00:31:09.160 I vote Ian to take over Candace's show while she's on maternity leave to have them both
00:31:13.120 on a show.
00:31:13.500 It'd be amazing.
00:31:14.500 I loved this idea.
00:31:16.100 Instantly reached out to Ian.
00:31:17.420 I said, Ian, I would love to have you sit in for me for some time so that they have content
00:31:22.140 and you'd be the perfect person.
00:31:24.600 The only thing I'm not going to allow him to do is to cuss because I don't cuss on my show.
00:31:27.500 And he cusses sometimes, so it's going to be the only rule that I put on there.
00:31:30.640 But it'd be great because I can pop in and he and I have really the same interests in
00:31:34.080 going down these rabbit holes and presenting information and learning from you guys.
00:31:37.820 I think it is a great deal.
00:31:38.860 I agree with you.
00:31:39.540 Ian is interested.
00:31:40.360 So I wanted you guys to know I'm always responding to your feedback and we are going
00:31:44.020 to do our best to make it happen.
00:31:45.300 Definitely should be able to make it happen for at least a couple of weeks while I'm on
00:31:48.280 maternity leave.
00:31:48.920 So well done, Megan, and all of you guys that liked that comment and got it to the top.
00:31:52.780 Crossfires 311 wrote, I pray that RFK Jr. watches this and his spirit is moved to stand
00:31:58.120 up for his true convictions regardless of what the consequences will be.
00:32:01.960 To be clear, that comment is in regards to me saying that with everything that we know
00:32:05.660 surrounding the circumstances of his father's death and his uncle's death, I would never be
00:32:12.220 able to kowtow to someone like Rabbi Shmuley.
00:32:14.740 It wouldn't happen for me.
00:32:15.840 I would rather die on my feet.
00:32:17.720 And I do think that he needed to hear that.
00:32:19.320 It's never too late to stand up for what's right.
00:32:22.060 And I don't think that he is doing that because I think there is an underlying fear there and
00:32:25.800 a lot of control.
00:32:27.360 Gabriel writes, quote, speech is violence.
00:32:30.360 Actual violence is not violence.
00:32:32.360 That seems like a quote straight from 1984.
00:32:35.060 Yes.
00:32:35.520 And that has been my experience.
00:32:37.540 I know when I was speaking to you guys about everything with Kanye, it was just so weird
00:32:41.420 to see people that were like, his tweet is the violence.
00:32:44.320 Everyone must respond.
00:32:45.140 And then like when we started responding to actual violence, when someone really went
00:32:48.820 DEFCON 3 over in Palestine, they were like, how dare you have a feeling about this?
00:32:55.560 You are crazy and wrong.
00:32:57.060 And we're at that.
00:32:57.880 We really are at that point now where they're trying to make us think that speech is violence
00:33:01.460 and actual violence is not violence somehow.
00:33:04.440 Not working with people like me.
00:33:07.100 Tasha Shimi writes, Candace Owens, Glenn Greenwald, Tucker Carlson, Ian Carroll, Dave Smith.
00:33:11.680 These people are now my new heroes.
00:33:14.100 They're my heroes, too.
00:33:15.080 Glenn Greenwald, Tucker Carlson, Ian Carroll, Dave Smith.
00:33:17.060 I really have enjoyed so much of their content.
00:33:20.080 I've learned so much from those individuals.
00:33:22.080 Glenn Greenwald is just such a professional in everything that he does.
00:33:26.560 And he is just a top tier reporter.
00:33:29.000 Tucker Carlson is just one of the most relatable people ever.
00:33:32.300 And he is perpetually interested.
00:33:35.220 Ian Carroll up and coming, obviously.
00:33:37.040 And we are seeing how much he has to offer.
00:33:40.360 And I have no doubt that he will be probably bigger than all of us in about a year.
00:33:45.660 And Dave Smith, I think, is really just one of the most brave people out there.
00:33:49.760 Because just as Joe Rogan said, when you have to send up to your own quote unquote tribe,
00:33:54.960 for me, it was BLM.
00:33:56.160 For him, it's him saying anything critical of BB Netanyahu.
00:33:59.020 You get just such vitriolic nonsense from so many people who call you like a self-hating
00:34:04.540 Black person or a self-hating Jew.
00:34:06.680 At the end of the day, what we're saying is we're stepping aside from identity politics
00:34:09.740 and we're just going to speak out plainly on issues that we believe to be moral or immoral.
00:34:14.300 And that's it.
00:34:15.320 Forget the color of my skin or my ethnicity.
00:34:18.380 Nikki writes, what Ian said about how the times when you're alone, you're with God,
00:34:22.840 and what they want to do is fill that space with filth to lead you away from him,
00:34:26.620 was eye-opening and powerful.
00:34:28.700 Yes, so many of you guys really appreciated our ability to talk and tackle the pornography issue.
00:34:34.280 It's something that I've been very passionate about speaking about.
00:34:36.740 Actually, if you go to our website, CandaceSones.com,
00:34:39.160 I had a conversation with E. Michael Jones, who was on the ADL's list.
00:34:43.720 Another person who was literally Hitler.
00:34:45.600 Fantastic conversation about pornography, the origins of pornography.
00:34:49.500 And that is, it's true.
00:34:50.880 It is a weapon of mass destruction.
00:34:52.620 And we are being told in school that it's not, which is really crazy that it's healthy
00:34:56.640 to watch a little bit of porn.
00:34:58.200 I just actively remember learning that in middle school.
00:35:01.100 I grew up in Connecticut, so I know some people said that wasn't the way when I was in school.
00:35:05.300 I'm a millennial.
00:35:06.200 I don't know if things changed.
00:35:07.260 Obviously, every decade, what they're teaching transforms in the classroom.
00:35:11.580 But without question, we learned that watching some porn could be educational and could be healthy,
00:35:16.500 which is insane for me to reflect upon now because I would not disagree with that more.
00:35:21.740 D. Vonder writes,
00:35:23.220 I don't think people understand how powerful this is to be able to talk freely.
00:35:26.680 It's our only safeguard to be free, and we need to protect it at all costs.
00:35:30.540 Yes, I certainly do understand it.
00:35:32.640 It's why we even created CandaceSones.com.
00:35:35.040 It's why Tucker Carlson created TuckerCarlson.com.
00:35:37.720 It's because if they do come down on our speech, as they did last year on YouTube or wherever it is,
00:35:43.560 we have to then all go, we're going to migrate.
00:35:46.700 We're going to go to a different platform.
00:35:47.760 We will still listen to these ideas because the only people that seek to shut down speech,
00:35:53.480 in my viewpoint, are liars, are liars who are trying to curate the truth.
00:35:58.380 And if you're curating the truth, it's because it's not the truth at all.
00:36:02.760 Senga Richardson writes,
00:36:04.260 I'd never listened to Ian Carroll before, and as soon as I finished listening to this,
00:36:07.380 I'm going to search his sites and follow.
00:36:09.340 So grateful for you, Candace.
00:36:10.480 Please know that people all over the globe watch Candace Owens, even me from South Africa.
00:36:15.000 I have so many people from South Africa that watch this show.
00:36:17.040 So many people from the continent of Africa in general.
00:36:19.500 And I was saying to George, we have to get a trip out there.
00:36:22.680 We've got to do like a little mini tour in Africa.
00:36:24.720 I think it would be so much fun.
00:36:25.760 And obviously he loves Africa because he spent a lot of time on that continent.
00:36:29.340 My husband hunts.
00:36:30.900 So in South Africa in particular, I feel like half of our groomsmen were from,
00:36:35.280 his groomsmen were from South Africa for our wedding.
00:36:37.700 And so it's a wonderful place.
00:36:40.560 I've only been there once, but it was truly so beautiful.
00:36:42.760 So I'd love to make it back.
00:36:44.060 Lastly, Sepangai writes,
00:36:46.740 On another note, an interview with Justin Baldoni would crack the internet.
00:36:50.500 It must happen.
00:36:52.520 We're going to speak into existence.
00:36:53.980 When this whole trial is over, me and my cousin are going to sit across.
00:36:58.260 I'm going to give him like a little noogies, 90s noogies, you know.
00:37:01.780 Just be like, oh, you're so crazy.
00:37:03.780 Pop some kombucha.
00:37:05.160 Talk about things.
00:37:06.560 Learn about him.
00:37:07.720 He's going to learn about me.
00:37:08.720 We're going to disagree on everything in the most loving way possible because we are just so different.
00:37:13.780 But cousins are cousins, you know.
00:37:15.180 Blood is thicker than water.
00:37:16.160 Blood is thicker than kombucha is what I would say.
00:37:18.720 Reminding you guys, if you want to buy merch, head to CandiceOwens.com.
00:37:21.840 I can't believe, guys, we don't have that many episodes left until maternity leave.
00:37:25.520 We're taking this up until the 28th of April.
00:37:28.580 So I'm sad to say, you guys, but the countdown is beginning.
00:37:32.860 But you can find tons of other content on CandiceOwens.com.
00:37:36.000 You can watch our vaccine series.
00:37:38.260 We will continue the book club no matter what.
00:37:40.620 So if you are a member of the book club or thinking about signing up, now would be a great time to do it.
00:37:44.720 We are wrapping up chaos and now getting into Hollywood Babylon.
00:37:48.700 So you won't miss me for too long.
00:37:50.760 You'll blink and I'll be back.
00:37:52.260 And we will figure out how to get you some content with Ian Carroll in the meantime.
00:37:56.700 All right, guys, we'll see you tomorrow.
00:38:06.000 We'll see you tomorrow.
