Summary

Elon Musk gives a Nazi salute on day one of the Trump administration. Is he an anti-Semite? Is he a Nazi? And what does it mean for the future of space travel and the space program?

Transcript

00:00:00.000 All right, guys, happy Tuesday. Lots to discuss. First and foremost, what I'm about to show you guys on your screens is captured real footage that was taken moments following the inauguration. I promise you, this is not AI. Take a look at this.
00:00:11.880 All right, I'm just kidding. That definitely was AI. But it's funny. There are so many memes, so many AI videos. Everyone is just still in the post-inauguration glow. It's been just 24 hours since America staged her big comeback.
00:00:30.280 But Elon Musk got a little bit too excited. He came right out the gate with a Nazi salute. Check this out. Oh, come on, Elon. Too soon. Too soon, Elon. That's right. We are deep in the Project 2025 handbook. I'll tell you what you missed while you were sleeping. It's a lot of tears and, of course, screaming about Adolf Hitler. Welcome back to Candace.
00:01:00.280 Oh, come on, Elon Musk.
00:01:30.280 Visualize that gesture that he just made. All right. So the backstory here is Elon made that gesture during a speech at the Capital One Arena on Monday celebrating President Donald Trump's inauguration. And here is CNN's exceptional live coverage of that moment.
00:01:45.960 He's just wrapped up here. You can hear the. No, we just showed that we just showed that. Right. It's worth it. It was quick. I think our viewers are smart and they can take a look at that.
00:01:59.800 But it certainly was. It's not something that you typically see at American political rallies. No, no, it was not something that you usually would see. And it was quick. As you point out, it was very quick. But it was it was in a moment of intensity for him as he came out dancing. And then he did that.
00:02:16.520 He did that. He did that. And our viewers. I mean, it was. Hey, it was quick. It was very quick. And he came out dancing. They don't even know what to say. Don't worry. Leave it to Twitter. Leave it to X. Rather. Leave it to two Democratic strategists.
00:02:31.860 Sawyer Hackett, who wrote this on X. Our new co-president, Elon Musk, gives a Nazi salute on day one of the Trump presidency.
00:02:40.980 All this is what they mean when they say we're so back. That must be what we mean, obviously.
00:02:44.960 I'm sorry you guys didn't get to page 495 of the Project 2025 handbook or you would have known you're going to start seeing these hand signs coming at you real quick.
00:02:54.940 Another tweet here from Jojo from Jurors, this person, she writes, if you are not outraged by this, you are not paying attention.
00:03:03.520 If you are not outraged, I want you to know that it is because you are not beeping, paying attention.
00:03:08.120 OK, and Anya backs this up with the historical fact that I don't even know if it's real or true.
00:03:13.780 This user writes, grandson of Nazi Party members, Elon Musk, throwing up Nazi salutes at the U.S.
00:03:19.620 presidential inauguration while the crowd of Republicans goes wild with applause and cheers.
00:03:24.940 We're so back. Obviously, that's that's must be real. It must be true.
00:03:30.800 It's on CNN. It's on X. It's trending. And obviously, they couldn't even give us 24 hours without referring to us all as Nazis.
00:03:36.800 Like I said, it feels like a warm blanket, like we're back in 2016.
00:03:41.340 Mike Gibbs. I always love the drama. It's it's the like the part of a lot of punctuation coming up here.
00:03:49.140 Mike Gibbs gave us the punctuation. He wrote this. I saw it. We all saw it.
00:03:55.280 Elon gave a Nazi salute. I'm still gasping from the horror of that site on my television screen.
00:04:01.780 He's literally shaking right now. We're back to literally shaking, guys. OK.
00:04:05.940 And lastly, Itai Sher, who apparently has not read a book about our Apollo program or knows nothing about NASA whatsoever,
00:04:15.400 the history of NASA, writes this. I'd rather not entrust space travel to a guy who does a Nazi salute.
00:04:22.320 Oh, when he finds out that the entire space program was a bunch of Nazis that we literally brought over from Germany and Operation Paperclip,
00:04:30.880 he's going to be deeply upset about the space program.
00:04:33.820 Anyways, it's all good because the ADL, who just like, you know, waves a magic wand and goes,
00:04:38.420 you're an anti-Semite, you're not anti-Semite, came out and defended Elon Musk.
00:04:41.740 They said they said this. They this is a delicate moment. It's a new day.
00:04:46.480 And yet so many are on the edge. Our politics are inflamed and social media only adds the anxiety.
00:04:51.160 It seems that Elon Musk made an awkward gesture in a moment of enthusiasm, not a Nazi salute.
00:04:55.880 But again, we appreciate that people are on edge. You get it. He's been forgiven.
00:04:59.880 They've come and they've forgiven him. I mean, I'm on the ADL's list. There's like a whole
00:05:03.280 paragraph about me and I've done way less things and it doesn't matter. They just decide whether or
00:05:08.660 not you are on their yes or no list. You know, it's like those those eggs and Willy Wonka,
00:05:14.360 like you're a good egg or you're a bad egg and that's it. And I'm a bad egg and Elon Musk is a good
00:05:17.960 egg because he went to the Auschwitz Museum. I don't know. But the reality is I'm not an Elon Musk stand.
00:05:22.520 You guys know that I'm going to give you my real take on this. Here is the full clip contextualized.
00:05:27.920 OK, this is what Elon Musk said right before he did that gesture.
00:05:32.040 And I just want to say thank you for making it happen. Thank you.
00:05:38.220 OK, so.
00:05:42.800 My heart goes out to you.
00:05:45.900 It is thanks to you that the future of civilization is assured.
00:05:50.860 So he does a gesture and he says, my heart goes out to you and see, I my hands go in this way.
00:05:57.900 His hand went the other way with his heart. And that could be one little thing. And it's the it's
00:06:02.140 a difference between whether you're on the ADL's list and stop anti-Semitism's list or whether or
00:06:07.100 not you're totally fine. OK, his hand went the wrong way. And the reality is, as soon as I saw it,
00:06:11.480 I knew what it was. I've watched Elon Musk in interviews. Again, I'm not an Elon Musk stand,
00:06:14.960 but he has been very open about the fact that he has Asperger's. OK, and it's that puts him on the
00:06:21.000 spectrum. That means that socially he's a genius in these other areas, these other arenas. You want
00:06:26.540 to talk about space program? You want to talk science stuff with Elon Musk? Yeah, he's your guy.
00:06:30.700 He's the person whose homework you want to copy. OK, in chemistry class, business class.
00:06:34.840 But when it comes to social etiquette, he's not all there. That's why he's very awkward in a lot of
00:06:39.260 interviews. And what Asperger's is, is essentially socially. Sometimes you do some things and you
00:06:45.380 just it's it's just not the right time to say those things or do those things or how you should do those
00:06:50.440 things. And I felt I did actually for the first time feel kind of really bad for him because I
00:06:54.580 it felt like he was so well-meaning and my heart goes out to you. And he just had no idea. And I
00:07:00.700 can't imagine what it's like coming home and realizing that you've set the Internet aflame.
00:07:04.000 And it is the number one conversation that is being had about Trump's inauguration. But again,
00:07:08.080 Elon Musk, I, again, really appreciate that we're back, that they didn't even give us 24 hours before
00:07:13.720 we are back to being called Nazis. That's what Trump supporters are always called forever. And so
00:07:18.960 that is going to be the narrative. But moving on to the number two moment here. I don't know how I
00:07:24.360 missed it in my live coverage is because by the time we cut in, apparently Jeff Bezos and his
00:07:29.660 fiancee, Lauren Sanchez, had already sat down. So I did not see Lauren Sanchez's outfit, which is
00:07:35.740 hilarious because earlier this week, actually it was yesterday's show, I was speaking about how Jeff
00:07:40.880 Bezos is kind of the only billionaire that doesn't bother me because he makes sense to me. Like you
00:07:46.360 can just tell he was like super dweeby, worked really hard, created this business, threw himself
00:07:52.260 into it and then realized, oh my gosh, I'm the richest man in the world. And now I just want to have
00:07:57.300 like a bimbo blow up doll. And he just went out and got that. And he doesn't seem to involve
00:08:01.580 himself too much in the political scene. He's just always out partying with Lauren Sanchez, his
00:08:07.200 now fiancee. I had no idea she wore this to the inauguration. I am like just stunned. She is quite
00:08:15.340 literally wearing a bralette with her, her boobies are out. I mean, there's no other way to say it.
00:08:21.560 She's got, she's got the children out and they're not, you know, it's, it's very strange to think that
00:08:27.160 this is an acceptable thing to wear. And again, very on brand for them in their relationship.
00:08:32.280 He's into that. He likes that. I don't know if this is like a relationship kink, but it is the
00:08:37.080 most inappropriate thing that you could possibly wear. First of all, he's your fiancee. Who are you,
00:08:43.200 who are you taking these puppies out for? Like he is your fiancee. Have some respect, have some decorum.
00:08:49.840 But like I said, I feel like it's their thing. And so people are understandably going,
00:08:53.760 this is so disrespectful. He has the money not to be respectful. That's it. He's so rich.
00:08:59.240 He bought, he could just buy himself into this. He doesn't even have to respect the office. He can
00:09:03.680 just bring his fiancee and she has her helicopter license. They're flying around St. Tropez doing
00:09:10.680 their thing. And that's what she likes to wear. But what was really funny is people capturing the
00:09:15.320 Zuck gaze. So some of us have wondered if he's a lizard, this might mean that he could be human part
00:09:20.720 time. It might be like a humanoid or something because he, oh yeah, there it is. He just went
00:09:25.380 ahead and decided to take a look. And he's wondering, can I afford this? Can I afford this
00:09:30.980 more than Jeff Bezos can afford this? And I think your wife, when she catches this, is going to be
00:09:38.320 deeply upset, Zuck. Don't even think about it. Okay. You're still a lizard in my book. Anyways,
00:09:43.680 another internet meltdown moment. Of course, we knew this was going to come, but again,
00:09:48.200 it's so soon. It's so quick. You know, we're kind of back to the emotions of 2016 when they were
00:09:55.080 showing us pictures and saying that these kids were being left in cages at the border. And oh my
00:09:59.920 gosh, look at how these kids are being treated at the border because of Trump. You know, we're
00:10:03.260 supposed to feel really sympathetic for people that are trying to break into our country. That's like
00:10:06.440 kind of the running theme. Well, adios amigos. Trump says you got to go. He's doing all sorts of
00:10:11.480 things. He's ending birthright citizenship. He's designating drug cartels as terrorist organizations.
00:10:16.160 But one thing that he did that they instantly started trying to make us cry about was he ended
00:10:21.820 the CBP One app. Okay. It's an app and it went bye-bye. I'll explain to you what the app does,
00:10:28.440 but I got to show you what this Washington Post reporter, Aurelis Hernandez, tweeted. She wanted
00:10:34.380 us to see the video and she wrote, migrants in Ciudad Juarez who are waiting for their 1 p.m.
00:10:40.880 CBP One parole appointments learned 20 minutes ago that the app has shut down and those appointments
00:10:46.620 are no longer valid. And she shows this video of a woman who's legitimately crying. Take a look.
00:10:49.820 And you can see, obviously, in this video, in case you're listening on audio, everyone's got their
00:11:02.220 cameras out, which means with a lot of speed and great reception, they instantly sent this to
00:11:07.480 Washington Post reporter and basically wanted to show, you know, how horrible Trump is. How could
00:11:13.300 you do this to this woman in Ciudad Juarez? How could you send her home? How could you tell her she has to
00:11:19.360 stay home where she is? That's terrible. And if you're not crying, it's because you're a bad person.
00:11:24.560 I am not crying. Actually, this was the mandate. This is exactly what we wanted Trump to do. Okay.
00:11:29.200 Our borders have been porous. It has been a disaster. And the CBP One app was very popular
00:11:34.200 because it was essentially an online lottery system that just grants appointments to thousands
00:11:39.660 of people daily at eight border crossings. It's like unimaginable. I didn't even have to explain
00:11:44.540 that to you. Like, Candace, what do you mean? It's just like a lottery. Hey, you person sitting in
00:11:48.440 Ciudad Juarez want to come to America? Yeah, let's do that. And they're able to enter the U.S.
00:11:54.640 under an immigration parole. And the president has the authority to to exercise that. And Joe
00:12:00.300 Biden exercised that authority more frequently than any other president since that program had
00:12:04.800 been created since 1952. So just millions of people were coming into our country. This woman
00:12:10.200 threw a lottery system. And so Trump revoked the lottery ticket. And I like I have to say,
00:12:16.340 given everything that's happening in our inner cities, I feel nothing. I feel absolutely nothing.
00:12:20.400 But that could partially be due to the fact that I'm pregnant with a boy again. I tend to feel less
00:12:24.060 and I want to feel more. I really do want to feel more. But I felt a lot. Okay. Because of this
00:12:28.640 exceptional protester. I had missed this yesterday. Of course, there's always protesters. I've got to
00:12:34.580 protest Trump. We've got to protest for the next four years. Okay. But this person got really clever.
00:12:39.580 And this month, they must have spent a lot of time at the arts and crafts store to get to pull this
00:12:43.900 together. It's a it's a guillotine protester. It's just throwing this back to like the French
00:12:48.340 Revolution. It says it's a guillotine. I don't really know what I'll say. It says, come get some.
00:12:55.260 And I'm not sure about this placement of the LGBT flag, the pride flag next to this person. Can you
00:13:03.080 zone out again there? Again, guys, rerun this clip. Because when you see the guillotine next to the
00:13:07.540 pride flag, you're going, is this a threat to gay people and lesbian? I don't like this at all. This is
00:13:12.060 terrible. Are you going to start chopping their heads off? What's happening here? And I don't
00:13:16.600 know why come get some is spelled wrong. I'm not sure what it's really about. But I want to say that
00:13:21.500 I really appreciate that protester because that person at least took a little bit of effort. You
00:13:27.440 know, he gave a little bit of effort into hating Donald Trump and his supporters. And it was an
00:13:31.720 extraordinarily cold day to be guillotining anyone. And so that was exceptional. But I'll tell you what
00:13:38.100 Trump has done in the last 24 hours. It is a long list. Okay. And we're not going to get to all of
00:13:43.120 it, but you can see why people are crying on the internet. Okay. First and foremost, he granted
00:13:47.580 clemency as he promised immediately to roughly 1,500 January 6th defendants and commuted the
00:13:54.220 sentences of 14 of them. He renamed the Gulf of Mexico, the Gulf of America. And yeah, we're coming
00:14:01.180 for you, Panama. You know what's coming next, Panama. Somebody here in the chat is definitely listening
00:14:06.560 to the show from Panama. Like what's, what's, why are we, I don't know, but you're on the list and
00:14:10.080 coming for you. As I said earlier, he designated cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, which
00:14:15.660 will allow him to just go over congressional powers to get things done once they are officially
00:14:19.960 designated as terrorists. He ended DEI programs in the federal government. So this is crazy, but you
00:14:26.420 might actually have to be good at your job. Like being black or being a woman or being trans is not
00:14:30.900 going to get you the job. You're going to have to just actually write down your skills. Wild, insane.
00:14:36.560 So much hate. I can't stand it. I don't know why he's doing this stuff. And then even crazier,
00:14:41.520 he formally recognized that there are only two sexes, male and female, to be recognized for
00:14:47.160 federal government. So even worse, when you apply for a federal job and you are looking and it says,
00:14:53.820 what's, which sex are you? You're not going to get 27 options anymore. And that's very sad. That is
00:14:58.880 very, very sad to hear. Trump is doing that. He pulled us out of the Paris Agreement again. Okay.
00:15:04.540 That obviously was the Climate Accord Agreement. I can't believe there are people dumb enough to
00:15:08.220 believe that giving taxes and money to the government is going to change the temperature.
00:15:12.720 It's incredible. And my favorite thing is he withdrew the USA from the World Health Organization.
00:15:18.840 Yes. Okay. We talked about this in my other show, Shot in the Dark. It's coming back at the end of this
00:15:23.160 month. But the World Health Organization is essentially a way, majority controlled by Bill Gates. Okay.
00:15:30.000 It's a way to control the world. It's unbelievable. It's unbelievably corrupt. Yes. America gives way
00:15:35.140 too much money to the health organization. I think it's Bill Gates first and then America. And it's
00:15:39.860 very obviously has nothing to do with health. And so I'm so glad that he's done that. That feels like
00:15:44.580 something that's a part of the Make America Healthy Again initiative that we're hopefully going to get
00:15:50.560 from RFK Jr. And so you should understand, obviously, that people are upset and they are crying already
00:15:57.340 and they're going to keep crying. And we are going to hear plenty more people refer to us as Nazis,
00:16:03.060 as white supremacists, as internalized misogynists. It's all coming. And the best way to look at that,
00:16:09.420 ladies and gentlemen, is we really are so back. I'm just thrilled. I'm still smiling from yesterday's
00:16:16.480 inauguration. All right. Before we get into this next story, you guys, I want to remind you about
00:16:20.360 pre-born. Some terrible and things that are happening is that there are actually some great news that's
00:16:25.780 happening is that the abortion pill reversal treatment, there actually is that, which provides
00:16:29.980 women with a second opportunity to choose. And it's going to bring so many babies back to life.
00:16:34.340 When you join forces with pre-born ministries, you get to empower women to reverse the curse.
00:16:38.800 What you might not be aware of is that even though Roe was overturned and abortion has been greatly
00:16:43.580 restricted in many states, the abortion pill has superseded surgical abortions, accounting now for over
00:16:48.160 60 percent of all abortions. Pre-born's network of clinics are on standby for women in their darkest hour.
00:16:53.540 They meet them with God's love and free services to help them choose life. Through ultrasounds and
00:16:58.160 the abortion pill reversal protocol, pre-born has rescued over 300,000 lives. So you can start this
00:17:03.260 new year right by supporting life and donating to pre-born today. One ultrasound costs just $28 and $140
00:17:08.900 will help rescue five babies. So to donate, you just dial pound 250 and you say the keyword baby. Again,
00:17:14.900 that's pound 250 and say the keyword baby. Or you can donate securely at pre-born.com
00:17:20.720 slash Candice. Again, that's pre-born.com slash Candice. All right. TikTok also, aside from us
00:17:27.480 being back, TikTok is back. And apparently it was a very big deal, especially for Gen Z. I gave you
00:17:34.180 guys the rundown of that. I told you why. I was totally with Gen Z on it, the background of why
00:17:39.140 they were getting rid of TikTok because they couldn't control speech. And it was, I don't think you
00:17:44.080 understand how much of an emotional deal that pending deadline of Sunday was for Gen Z. Like Gen Z
00:17:50.280 years, we're deeply and emotionally impacted by the prospect of not being able to communicate on
00:17:58.340 TikTok. So I just want to show you this one young woman, Emily, as the ban date was approaching,
00:18:04.160 this was Emily on the internet. And to the U.S. government, I'm never forgiving you for this.
00:18:10.320 And I'm never going to trust you ever again because you just like that took away millions of people's
00:18:16.180 income and livelihood. And who does that? So I'm never trusting you ever again with anything.
00:18:22.440 Oh, I'm starting to give up hope that there's going to be a Hail Mary moment at the end of this
00:18:26.240 that's going to save this app. So dumb coming on the internet and crying about an app. But the fact
00:18:31.260 is that this has been a sensitivity for me for years now. Yeah, it's been a sensitivity for her.
00:18:38.740 Just so you understand the depth of that. I mean, tons of videos of young women crying.
00:18:42.120 There's a massive TikTok celeb named James Charles. He's got millions and millions of followers.
00:18:47.840 And he too was just didn't know what to do with this idea and this prospect of TikTok not being
00:18:52.480 there for Gen Z. Take a listen. I got to keep it real. I am crashing the out right now. I don't
00:18:58.740 know what to do. Oh, my God. I've already opened and closed the app probably six times already just
00:19:03.480 to keep getting the same stupid warning message. Oh, my God. Like this, this just feel I can't.
00:19:09.500 This is so dystopian. First of all, I feel pathetic that I am freaking out like this over
00:19:15.440 an application being unavailable on my phone. But also like this has been a massive part of
00:19:20.040 our life for the last six years. And normally when something happens, I would get on TikTok
00:19:24.160 and start complaining and I can't even do that. I feel like disconnected. I feel cut off
00:19:30.140 from the world in my community. This is crazy. This is crazy.
00:19:37.540 God, and I can't like now I'm rooting for Trump. Oh, God.
00:19:41.980 Make America great again, I guess. God.
00:19:45.900 Well, you guys, I will say I found myself aligning with Gen Z, but for much, I would say,
00:19:52.280 more severe reasons. And like I said, it I think it was best exemplified when Rand Paul
00:19:56.820 right before the timeline was over, the doom date, as they were all walking the plank. He
00:20:01.920 started his he created his first TikTok ever. He joined TikTok for the first time
00:20:07.040 with just like 48 hours left to spare. And he explained it much better about why he was joining
00:20:11.860 it. Why am I joining TikTok just as the government ban begins? Because I don't like being told what to
00:20:19.140 do. I don't like being told what I can think or what I can say. The courts may think there's an
00:20:26.060 exemption to the First Amendment. I don't. I joined TikTok today as a form of civil disobedience
00:20:33.260 to the hundred and seventy million Americans who use TikTok. Don't give up. Don't give in. Resist.
00:20:42.580 And I want to say this. What he is saying is very true. Like when they start coming for speech and
00:20:47.260 they start selling you reasons for why. Oh, well, it's because we're worried about Chinese data. Oh,
00:20:51.800 it's because we're worried about, you know, the rise of racism. Oh, we're worried about the rise
00:20:55.580 of anti-Semitism. Never accept these excuses ever, ever. Free speech is so important. We have to be
00:21:02.720 warriors for speech, even to the point that I was willing to freely give my data to China because
00:21:07.180 it's my decision. If I want to here, have it. I know just between China and the CIA, I don't really
00:21:12.220 care. I find both to be a threat if we're being honest. And that's kind of like the lesson in this is
00:21:17.860 that it was bigger than the concept that they were trying to sell to us. It was about controlling
00:21:22.560 speech and censoring speech and wanting to control the Internet. And by the way, it still is. Even
00:21:26.320 though it's been restored, it still is. I'm proud to announce that they only had to resist Gen Z for
00:21:31.880 12 hours because Trump, when he was about to assume office, asked all of the parties involved to just
00:21:36.600 hold the line. And they did. TikTok was immediately restored 12 hours later. Much to the glee of Gen Z,
00:21:42.560 somebody created this really funny GIF video on TikTok regarding them being restored.
00:21:49.580 It's, oh my God, it's a surreal feeling. We did it. We did it! Oh my God, we did it.
00:22:03.480 I think that's how they felt. Truly, that is how they felt, guys. So it's back and you have Trump to
00:22:09.100 think right now. Temporarily, we'll see what happens. All right, let's get into these Obama
00:22:13.260 divorce rumors, okay? We discussed this on the show yesterday. You guys listening to the show are not
00:22:17.900 serious people. I said, hey guys, what do you think is going on with Michelle Obama? And some of you
00:22:22.620 terribly wrote maybe she had prostate cancer, which I thought was really, really mean. I cannot take you
00:22:29.500 guys anywhere. Anyways, we should definitely take a closer look at these divorce rumors because
00:22:32.560 obviously something is going on, okay? Now, Michelle Obama, love her, hate her, believe her. It doesn't
00:22:39.320 really matter. The reality is she has always shown up for her commitments, okay? In terms of being a
00:22:43.980 first lady, she has played that role very well. Even after you leave office, by the way, you're still
00:22:48.380 expected to show up to certain political events. It's like a lifetime appointment in that way, right?
00:22:53.080 And unless you die or are dying, they expect you to be there. And one of those types of events that
00:22:59.920 they expect you to be at are presidential funerals, okay? And another one of those events,
00:23:04.520 obviously, is the inauguration. And Michelle Obama, despite all of the rhetoric about Trump and
00:23:09.780 Melania back when they first assumed office in 2016, she showed up, or 2017, rather, January 2017,
00:23:17.720 she showed up and she, you know, played the part. No matter how she felt about Trump, you can see here,
00:23:22.760 this is a throwback and her greeting her at the White House, right, for that transfer of power.
00:23:28.160 So it was very, it was raised some alarms, I should say, when Jimmy Carter died and Michelle
00:23:35.240 Obama did not show up with Barack Obama. It was like, okay, what's going on? And I think they said
00:23:39.560 that she was overseas. I actually don't remember what their excuse was. And people online were going,
00:23:43.480 no, no, no, no, no. There's like a divorce happening. They're separating. And I ignored it
00:23:46.580 because that didn't really make sense to me. I was like, okay, guys, it's plausible that she did have
00:23:51.180 some commitment where she could not make it for Jimmy Carter's funeral. And we should just let it go.
00:23:55.760 I don't know what that commitment would be because she doesn't really have a job, right?
00:23:57.880 They're just unbelievably wealthy. But I don't know. I just didn't think that a divorce was
00:24:02.080 happening. But then, okay, then she doesn't show up for Trump's inauguration the second time,
00:24:08.340 okay? That is very strange. That, like, when he walked out by himself, I went, okay, this is now
00:24:15.180 getting weird. Where actually is Michelle Obama? What is going on between Michelle Obama and Barack
00:24:21.040 Obama? Are they even living together? Had they not been together? We did obviously see them during
00:24:27.400 the Democratic National Convention together. But these are two significant events that she has
00:24:31.640 missed. So it's entirely plausible that she's sick. And it's entirely plausible that they are
00:24:36.400 separated. Now, Obama did issue what people thought was a very late birthday tweet. And I think in large
00:24:42.280 part, people thought that he's only doing this because people are noticing that he's not posting a
00:24:46.360 birthday tribute to her. And he tweeted this. He wrote, happy birthday to love of my life,
00:24:51.840 Michelle Obama. You fill every room with warmth, wisdom, humor, and grace, and you look good doing
00:24:56.380 it. I'm so lucky to be able to take on life's adventure with you. Love you. Okay, great. We
00:25:01.740 appreciate that. But here is what the media is saying. They're saying that the noise is getting
00:25:06.660 louder. According to a report, apparently, she was furious to see that Obama was yucking it up with
00:25:13.700 Donald Trump at the Carter funeral. A Beltway insider added that Michelle has been checked out
00:25:19.080 of life in Washington, D.C. since leaving the White House in January of 2017, following Barack
00:25:24.720 Obama's second term. And also noted that despite the fact that Obama's main home is in the Colorama
00:25:31.560 neighborhood of D.C., which is a property that they purchased together back in 2017, Michelle Obama
00:25:36.640 reportedly spends the majority of her time at Martha's Vineyard, where they own a massive oceanfront
00:25:43.260 estates. Yeah, the people that tell you all about climate change inevitably always tend to buy
00:25:47.840 these massive, and in their case, $11.75 million oceanfront estates. Go figure. That same source
00:25:55.340 added that Michelle Obama is rarely in D.C., while others noting that when she was there last summer,
00:26:02.780 it was without Obama. And she appeared happy and she appeared content. So it is plausible that they
00:26:08.720 are just living two separate lives. And because they're, you know, former first lady and president,
00:26:13.520 they feel as though they can't get divorced on paper. They're happy just living two lives apart.
00:26:18.520 In a 2022 panelist, we should also note here that Michelle confessed that she had harbored resentment
00:26:24.120 toward her husband for nearly a decade. And she said, quote, people think I'm being catty. It's like there
00:26:29.980 were 10 years where I could not stand my husband. It's quite a strong quote. And that's quite
00:26:35.380 a very long time not to be able to stand your husband. I can't, I wouldn't be able to stand
00:26:40.560 not being able to stand my husband for even a minute. So 10 years sounds like a very long time.
00:26:46.220 And that's a very strong statement. And Barack Obama later confirmed that it definitely helped
00:26:50.920 their relationship to be out of the White House because they were able to spend a little more time
00:26:54.740 together. So they are now also dealing with rumors of infidelity. There are claims that Barack Obama
00:27:00.580 has been involved with actresses and those actresses are saying that that's not true,
00:27:05.040 but there's something going on. Okay. I'm just saying it's pretty obvious to me and the rest of
00:27:11.400 the world that she did not show up at the inauguration. And there just has to be a reason
00:27:15.700 for that, right? Like it just has to be a reason for that. Okay. Before we get to this next story,
00:27:22.640 I have to remind you guys about Pure Talk because the country was founded on freedom,
00:27:26.180 freedom from a country that forced us to buy overpriced tea,
00:27:28.840 then tried blockading us when we dumped their tea into the ocean. Well, it's time to throw your
00:27:33.220 overpriced big wireless contract overboard too. You do not need to pay a hundred dollars a month

00:28:25.320 there's not much left over to cover any extras. Most Americans aren't getting a big raise. Expenses
00:28:30.040 are up and it's very hard to manage without grabbing the credit card. If you're a homeowner
00:28:33.540 and you're frustrated with that cycle, then you should make a 10 minute, no obligation phone call
00:28:38.020 today to my friends at American financing. If you're constantly carrying a credit card balance

00:28:57.940 so it costs nothing to find out how much you could be saving. So call American financing today at
00:29:01.740 800-795-1210. Again, that's 800-795-1210 or visit Americanfinancing.net slash Owens. Again,
00:29:09.440 that's Americanfinancing.net slash Owens. All right, guys, Vivek, he's out. Apparently the Department
00:29:16.600 of Government Efficiency is so efficient that before it even started, they got rid of one kind of
00:29:22.140 government supposed to be employed. That was Vivek Ramaswamy. Now, there is more here than meets
00:29:27.400 the eye. And honestly, I could just text him and find out because I know Vivek. But first,
00:29:31.700 let's speculate before I do that. I will try to get some answers for you. So there was all of these
00:29:35.560 rumors that Vivek and Elon Musk were not getting along, okay? This is a headline from Politico.
00:29:42.260 Everyone wants him out. How Musk helped boot Ramaswamy from Doge, okay? Apparently Elon Musk made
00:29:48.140 known that he wanted Ramaswamy out in recent days. And I have to tell you this, this is a thing.
00:29:53.800 This is a common theme, okay? Apparently Elon Musk is running the show at Mar-a-Lago. And so it may be
00:29:59.340 fair for people to be suggesting he's the co-president because he's been in Trump's ear telling him,
00:30:04.400 get rid of this person, get rid of this person. And there is, to me, and again, this could be part of
00:30:09.520 his Asperger's. But there's a lack of respect when he just sort of tweets it. And then it,
00:30:16.680 because it almost feels like it's a mandate to Trump to like get rid of somebody or not hang
00:30:20.340 around someone. Like he randomly tweeted that he didn't like Nigel Farage or like Nigel Farage
00:30:23.680 didn't have what it took, knowing fully well that Nigel Farage and him have been at Mar-a-Lago like
00:30:28.100 together. And so I think it then makes it so that these relationships are quite awkward for Trump to
00:30:34.680 manage. And I told you guys with the Doge thing, I was excited about Vivek Ramaswamy because I spent
00:30:39.020 time with him and he's remarkable. He's hardworking. He doesn't stop. And he deeply understands these
00:30:45.460 issues about how the government is run because he had to think through this when he ran for president.
00:30:50.760 And Elon Musk hasn't really done that. He hasn't done anything actually, but like yell at us and
00:30:54.520 call us racist for not wanting unlimited H-1B-1 visas. And so I'm not, I'm wondering how Elon Musk
00:31:01.920 maneuvered if this, if this headline is to be believed from Politico to get Vivek taken out
00:31:08.740 while he gets to stay. And is it just because he's richer? And maybe that's what it comes down
00:31:12.700 to. Is Trump just like, all right, let me see everyone's 401ks and I'm going with you because
00:31:16.200 you've got more money. It's seeming a little bit like that, right? It is, like I said yesterday,
00:31:20.540 not a good look when Trump hosts, has Mark Zuckerberg as one of the people that's sitting with him at the
00:31:26.000 church on the day of the inauguration, like a guy who caused so much pain for Trump supporters
00:31:30.760 and anti-vaxxers suddenly just buys himself a seat at the table. Not a good look. Okay.
00:31:36.100 So anyways, now at first they tried to deny it and go, oh, none of this is true. He's not leaving.
00:31:41.180 Now officially Vivek has announced that he is leaving and that he is instead going to enter
00:31:46.900 the gubernatorial race in Ohio. And I feel like that's kind of a pretty flowery way of not acknowledging
00:31:53.960 to the public that something happened behind the scenes. And, you know, Steve Bannon has said that he
00:31:59.840 finds the Elon Musk element to be problematic. Elon Musk being one of the people that's whispering
00:32:05.140 in Donald Trump's ear. And that's largely because he is disrupting these relationships as someone with
00:32:11.380 a self-admitted like social, I guess I wouldn't call like Asperger syndrome a social disorder,
00:32:17.780 but I guess you could call it a social syndrome that makes it so that he sometimes misses the forest
00:32:22.380 for the trees. Here is what Steve Bannon had to say about Mr. Elon Musk.
00:32:28.560 He's got a glass jaw. He can't take it because of the, I don't know, the autism or worries on the
00:32:32.880 spectrum. He's clearly not. He's got the maturity of 11 year old. You can tell that, but he, um,
00:32:38.180 it's, it's, it's obvious. He can't take criticism. He's fine. He, one of his weaknesses
00:32:43.940 is that he, he needs to be loved. He needs the masses to love him. He, you can tell he's on the
00:32:50.800 stage. He needs that glory. This is to have a digital ghetto and to only have raised up what praises
00:32:56.760 him. That, that's the, that's the, that, that is like the little boy's mentality. If I want to be
00:33:02.120 the superhero, I want to put the cape on and kind of skip around. You see this a lot in Danbury.
00:33:08.200 These, uh, what they call chomos, what they call the, these, uh, sex offenders. They've got this
00:33:14.400 meant they've had a maturity level that has stopped and they, they want to, you know, they
00:33:19.540 want to be, they all watch the movies. They have the Cape crusaders on there. It's a, it's a,
00:33:25.400 it's an absolute indication of immature. I hate to say this, but I agree with Steve Bannon. I think
00:33:32.380 that's right. I think that, uh, you can very easily become an enemy of Elon Musk if you just
00:33:36.780 disagree with him. I think that is how he's running the show there. And I bet that Vivek
00:33:42.080 came in with ideas again, totally surmising here. I have no insight and they clashed because
00:33:47.920 they're both two successful people. And I bet that Vivek thought that he had it right,
00:33:52.900 but Elon Musk was thinking, yeah, I gave more money and I'm in his ear and you ran against
00:33:56.860 him. And so I'm going to make it a problematic that you disagree with me because actually I'm
00:34:00.900 not willing to share the department of government efficiency. I want to be the department of
00:34:03.980 government efficiency. And I don't like Elon Musk in that position. I know it's not favorable.
00:34:08.060 Everyone's an Elon Musk stan. He's so amazing. My gut just tells me that he is very much a part of
00:34:15.140 this sort of AI generation of billionaires. I find it to be in conflict with my views as a Catholic,
00:34:21.420 and I'm not into this sort of robotic future that he desires, you know, where he applauds and claps
00:34:29.060 about the idea of going to Mars. It just conflicts with me spiritually. And again, if you are so rich
00:34:35.000 that you don't think that anybody can question your ideas without you shouting and screaming,
00:34:38.360 like we saw that on display with the H-1B1 visas, people offered a rebuttal, people that have been
00:34:43.080 in MAGA forever. He just joined 10 minutes ago and he just started calling them racist,
00:34:48.240 like literally just started calling everybody racist. And that is exactly what Sivan is describing,
00:34:51.920 unable to take any criticism. And if you do, he will bite your head off and start bad talking
00:34:56.220 you. And I think that that may have been what happened with Vivek Ramaswamy and him,
00:34:59.220 but I will find out because I've got Vivek's number. I'm going to find out for you guys.
00:35:02.540 I'm going to get the piping hot tea. Speaking of piping hot tea, this is absolutely hilarious.
00:35:08.040 I just want to share this with you because it will, it will make you smile. So everybody knows,
00:35:12.840 but I can't say it. Oh, I feel like Kanye. We're going to have to put Kanye, but everybody knows
00:35:18.820 that MLK catching bullets was not something that the government was not involved in. Perhaps,
00:35:27.840 maybe so. There's a, some theory splitting around the government could have had something to do with
00:35:31.480 it. Well, check this out. Uh, I don't know why they do this. It's very funny, but the FBI tweeted
00:35:36.580 yesterday. Of course it was MLK day because after they off you, they give you a holiday and they wrote
00:35:41.980 today, the FBI honors the life and work of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We reaffirm our commitment
00:35:47.920 to Dr. King's legacy of fairness and equal justice for all. And it gets a community note,
00:35:53.680 a fact check. It says the FBI engaged in constant surveillance of King and attempted to discredit
00:36:00.060 and blackmail him to influence him to stop organizing. King's family believes the FBI was
00:36:05.320 responsible for his death. Ooh, that's not the fact check the FBI wants. You look into the King story and
00:36:13.660 I, I have some questions. I have some questions, but I have to tell you the responses to this were
00:36:20.420 just exceptional, exceptionally hilarious yesterday. Uh, this is obviously that famous meme. It's you
00:36:27.480 right now. The writing is the FBI FBI shoots MLK turns around and says, today we celebrate MLK. This is
00:36:35.200 another response to the FBI meme. This person writes, just because we killed MLK doesn't mean
00:36:42.840 we can't miss him. It's so funny. I just love it. I absolutely love it. And it's fantastic because now
00:36:50.480 that Trump's in office, he has promised us that he is going to release both the JFK files and the MLK
00:36:55.380 files. Now he did make that promise in his first term and he said, oh, I'm going to wait and in whatever
00:37:00.100 he shouldn't have waited. Obviously you're not guaranteed two terms. Well now he is guaranteed
00:37:04.520 two terms and he is promising. I don't know why that was. I wish that was day one. It's taking
00:37:08.740 too long. We've waited long enough for those JFK files long enough for those MLK files. Just release
00:37:14.500 it today. And I bet somebody higher up is going to stop that because then it would make us not trust our
00:37:20.680 government even more if it's possible, if we could get to a lower level of trust. I don't think it is,
00:37:26.840 but it will, it will probably unlock another basement of governmental distrust. All right,
00:37:31.980 guys, now let's get to some of your comments. I'm just excited to see what you guys think about
00:37:35.140 everything. What do you got going on? Okay. Alaska dog lady writes, for those who claim to advocate
00:37:40.220 for neurodivergent, they are sure are quick to attack our little autistic billionaire. Quirky
00:37:46.740 social mannerisms are literally in his diagnosis. Oh, cancel the ADL again. Yes, exactly. It is ironic
00:37:53.300 because they're usually the ones that are like, you can't even say these words. We have to be so
00:37:56.480 sensitive. And like I said, he's been open about the fact that he has Asperger's in the past. And
00:38:00.240 now they're like, no. And it's obviously being compelled by the fact that they hate him because
00:38:04.020 he's aligned himself with Trump and people can never be evenly split. They can't, it's got to be
00:38:09.600 all hate or all love. No one can just assess things as they are. Apparently this person writes,
00:38:14.960 I can't stand him and his oligarch buddies, but that wasn't an end salute. It was an awkward,
00:38:20.100 rhythmless man that had an involuntary spasm or a tick. I think we agree with that. And again,
00:38:27.320 I am, I'm not the biggest fan of Elon Musk, but let's just, we can critique him for things that
00:38:31.680 he does, not things that he doesn't do, or certainly didn't mean to do. Matt Ombre writes,
00:38:36.200 hello from California, big fan. You got to get out of there, man. You got to get out of there.
00:38:42.300 Things are getting crazy. Hector writes, glad to know your videos will be able to be monetized
00:38:47.280 again, Candace. Yes. Of course us getting re-monetized, you know, the day before Trump
00:38:51.480 assumes office, what do we all think is happening? Again, it felt like a cloud had been lifted when
00:38:57.540 Trump was inaugurated. We understood that we were pretty much living under a communist regime is
00:39:01.340 what it felt like. And then they suddenly had to go, okay, well, Trump is now speaking about
00:39:06.020 putting in place laws that will allow independent creators to go after, go after these tech companies
00:39:12.460 for obvious discrimination and things of that nature. It's like, you can't just go,
00:39:16.060 well, I don't like Trump supporters. And so you're not allowed to be on this platform,
00:39:20.580 you know, make your rules and ever, everyone should have to abide by them. And that does not,
00:39:26.720 did not seem to be the case over the last four years. And obviously now some of these Trump,
00:39:31.620 these techies are speaking out about just what sort of pressure they were receiving from the Biden
00:39:35.040 regime, including Mark Zuckerberg, the world's favorite lizard. Heather Salvatore writes,
00:39:40.760 the people of the vineyard hate when they are there. Businesses have to close down. This is
00:39:45.760 regarding Martha's Vineyard, by the way, and the Obamas. The people of the vineyard hate when the
00:39:49.640 Obamas are there. Businesses have to close down during visits for security and lose so much needed
00:39:54.720 income. Zaid agrees and says, can we briefly interrupt this broadcast to comment on the Oxford
00:40:01.600 Union interviewing bad Barbie? What are our thoughts? Yeah. And I did not know that was happening.
00:40:08.920 The cash me outside girl, apparently she made like $50 million in a couple of years. And I think I knew,
00:40:14.200 I think she's already spoken at the Oxford Union and I don't know what to say. This is the new
00:40:18.400 generation of income and the new generation of money. And I think she spoke out about how she knew
00:40:25.040 she could make that money because people were creeps on the internet that were waiting for her
00:40:28.740 to turn 18. That is just sad, but it is also true. Before I read these last couple of comments,

00:41:47.200 hear your thoughts on Trump rescinding Biden's executive order that reduced some drug costs for
00:41:52.860 Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries. I actually did not read about that. I will have to look into that
00:41:58.500 because that does not sound right to me. And so I feel like I would be commenting on something that
00:42:02.960 I'm not actually sure of. I felt that when Trump was in office, he did a lot in terms of reducing
00:42:08.600 drug costs. But my overall, I can tell you my overall perspective on this. Medicine, the cost of
00:42:14.120 medicine is being inflated because there's a drug cartel operating in broad daylight in America. And
00:42:18.080 that drug cartel is the FDA that is working with bought and paid for politicians, lobbyist firms,
00:42:24.220 and the manufacturers. We don't have a free market system. Medicine shouldn't cost that much to begin
00:42:28.580 with. So people are constantly looking for Trump or Biden to do this or that about costs. If you want
00:42:34.080 to do something about costs, break up the entire cartel and make it a free market system again so
00:42:39.040 that your medicine costs what it would cost if you went into CVS and bought Tylenol. That's my opinion
00:42:44.040 on that. This person writes, hi, Candace. I was wondering, what are your thoughts on President Trump
00:42:50.040 not putting his hand on the Bible while being sworn in? Love the show. Keep on seeking the truth and
00:42:54.900 bringing it into the light. Okay. That was something that I missed when I was doing my live commentary
00:42:59.620 and people pointed it out. I have to assume, given his speech, where he gave a very, and I felt very
00:43:05.300 sincere and heartfelt message about God saving his life. And like I said, I've never heard Trump speak
00:43:12.180 about God as much as he has been speaking about God since he survived the assassination attempt.
00:43:16.400 I have to assume he did that erroneously, but he should, he should, by the way, comment on that
00:43:22.460 because that's a big miss and it would be very easy. Like if Kamala had did this, we would be like,
00:43:27.400 she's a communist and she's crazy. And if Trump does this, we're obviously more forgiving because
00:43:31.300 we know that he doesn't have this like hatred towards Christians. So I would like to hear him
00:43:37.160 just explain if that was just an accidental miss. I think that would make a lot of people feel
00:43:41.500 better, including myself. This last person writes, I'm literally shaking right now with
00:43:46.420 laughter. You're hilarious. It's too much winning already. I can't take three years and 364 more
00:43:52.480 days of this winning. I know it was, it was a wonderful 24 hours. Genuinely, the internet has
00:43:57.280 been hilarious. People are crying. Everyone's Hitler again. And it's just, nobody is sincere. We're just
00:44:03.900 right back to, they hate us no matter what. And they're going to pretend that they're living
00:44:08.180 under what we all just did live through for the next four years. And it's because these people
00:44:12.940 hate the free markets. You know, they want to live in a world where DEI rules a day. The blacker,
00:44:18.160 the gayer, the fatter you are, the more accolades you will receive. And that's just not the reality
00:44:23.100 that the majority of us want to live in. And so we've given Trump the mandate. Hopefully he follows
00:44:27.360 it. Anyways, guys, we will see you tomorrow.
00:44:38.180 Bye.
