00:02:52.800It's like talking to my family on the phone.
00:02:54.700And then we kind of sort of find out that the entire world is listening when all of these hit pieces are being written about me.
00:03:00.500And I'm like, oh, basically being spied on.
00:03:03.380Why is somebody listening to our private conversations?
00:03:06.000So, yeah, when I found out really kind of sort of definitely with the rest of the world that my show had been rather unceremoniously canceled, it was upsetting.
00:03:17.260It sort of felt like you're talking on those old school cord phones late into the night and like your parents are sleeping and then you think they're sleeping.
00:03:25.420And then suddenly your mom picks up and she's like, yeah, this conversation is ending right now and you're grounded for two weeks.
00:03:51.400I genuinely, my entire life, I believe that you should always aim to split amicably, whether that's in a relationship, whether you're in the midst of a divorce, which I hope never happens, or whether it's just leaving a job.
00:04:04.940I mean, why else would we put years in anywhere if you did not want that relationship to end amicably?
00:04:11.600I want you to know that wherever you are going, don't put in years somewhere and then have it be a messy split.
00:04:16.700And quite frankly, I also think it's the right thing professionally not to speak about why you are splitting or what's happened.
00:04:25.000But I was shocked, very shocked, and I'm sure you were shocked as well, when no sooner was the split announced than Andrew Clavin just was like, hey, it's me.
00:04:35.980I'm going to be her crazy ex-boyfriend.
00:04:38.540It was like a bizarre tour he went on.
00:04:41.300And he felt like it was his duty, or maybe somebody knighted him and said, you know what, Andrew Clavin, this is your duty to go around and to just smear Candace Owens.
00:04:50.900Say whatever it is that you want about her.
00:04:53.520And there's a piece of this that everybody's missing, and I do want to talk about that.
00:04:56.720I think Lauren Chen really summed it up or at least pointed to it on Twitter.
00:05:00.280She sort of said, you know, what's really missing in all these conversations with Andrew Clavin is, are you guys recognizing that he's basically saying she was really nice to him?
00:05:08.860There was nothing that she did from a personality perspective.
00:05:12.160Yeah, that is kind of the big part that I think a lot of people are missing.
00:05:17.620I was nothing but kind and nice and warm to Andrew Clavin for years.
00:05:23.020I had what I would describe as a very good working relationship with him, as I do with everybody.
00:05:27.860It's important to me to always represent myself professionally, also to always be nice and check in on people's lives.
00:05:34.160And just a few weeks before this, Andrew Clavin was sitting across from me on backstage asking about my kids, asking how I was doing, talking to him about the fact that I had had a surgery.
00:05:45.320I had been walking around in a boot just a little prior to that because I had a surgery back in December.
00:05:50.240And I think that that is just, I don't know, I don't even want to say it's strange, more than strange.
00:06:16.740The third most Googled man in the world is Andrew Tate, his brother.
00:06:20.640They are from the wrong side of the tracks.
00:06:22.260How do they gain a following of so many young men following them?
00:06:24.980I think that one thing I could bet my life on is that if me and Andrew Tate were enemies, he wouldn't be sitting across from me asking me how my kids are.
00:06:36.920I also want to say that just in terms of how I've always behaved with my colleagues, if I ever had a disagreement with something that they said, I would never do anything other than to go to them directly.
00:07:00.640I think that you should talk to this person because I think there's something that you're missing.
00:07:03.660And Matt was like, oh, well, I'm not going to change my mind on this.
00:07:05.940I was like, I'm not asking you to change your mind.
00:07:07.800I just want to introduce another fact.
00:07:10.160And I got him on the phone with somebody else, and they had a conversation.
00:07:12.660I don't even know what happened with that conversation, but that's just the way that I would expect colleagues to behave.
00:07:18.360That you would just raise something directly with the person that you are seeing on a day-to-day basis.
00:07:24.440But Andrew Klaib didn't do any of that.
00:07:26.280And what he said about me and the reason why I'm responding forcefully is because it rose to a level not just of tremendous dishonor to him as an individual, but also to blatant defamation.
00:07:45.380And I'm going to show you guys how you really can sort of sniff out these sorts of lies in politics in general.
00:07:52.520And we're going to start by just cutting to Andrew.
00:07:54.980He, on his second appearance, talking about me because, you know, he really wanted me gone, but also can't stop talking about me, appeared on a show called Cross-Politic.
00:08:03.540And he was explaining my alleged anti-Semitism.
00:09:13.540If somebody ever comes to you and says, like, I don't know, I'm a black person, and somebody tied a noose and left it around my neck, that's probably a hoax.
00:09:23.680It's just people are not tying nooses in 2024, and it just reeks of a hoax.
00:09:28.240For a Jewish person, Andrew is racially Jewish, if they're trying to sell to you that someone just like jumped up on stage and started being like, yes, I love Hitler, or like, you know, this person was just glorifying Hitler, you're probably being lied to.
00:10:29.040Like, I don't have the ability to lie like that.
00:10:32.860How could you believe that I got on my platform and I was just like, yeah, no, Adolf Hitler, like when he was burning books, it was great.
00:10:39.500I just thought it would be totally fine for me to do that.
00:10:42.640Of course, that's not what happened at all.
00:10:44.840Actually, I wasn't even talking about Adolf Hitler.
00:10:47.120It was an episode that I was doing on psychology and I was talking about how a lot of the people that have brought forth modern ideas of psychology were perverts.
00:10:55.480And I had listed three Christians among those psychologists and the psychologist he is referring to is Magnus Hirschfeld.
00:11:03.260He happens to be Jewish, but that wasn't important to me.
00:11:07.940It was no more important than the Christians I had mentioned on that episode.
00:11:11.420Didn't need to mention that they were Christian, just the fact that they were perverts.
00:11:14.160And so what he's doing here is he's actually defending a pervert, Magnus Hirschfeld, by pretending that he is Adolf Hitler and that I said, oh, my gosh, it's so great that his books were burned.
00:11:25.220No, I just introduced a fact, an actual fact that lives on the Holocaust Museum website.
00:11:31.100It's a fact that Magnus Hirschfeld's sex institute was burned to the ground by student protesters.
00:11:38.600Literal fact from the Holocaust Museum website.
00:11:41.600And here's what I actually said thereafter.
00:12:04.820And that's why he never showed the clip, of course.
00:12:07.920Am I supposed to believe that he didn't have access to the clips and the statements that I made at The Daily Wire, that he's not subjected to the same fact-checking process that I was subjected to every day that I was at The Daily Wire, that he just couldn't find out what it was that I actually said?
00:14:16.140I did not use that phrase in an argument with a Jew.
00:14:19.380I just used that phrase at the end of a Bible verse because that's an appropriate time to use that phrase when I was calling for peace after actually somebody insulted me and called me faux sophisticated.
00:14:31.920And it was meant as nothing more than I'm calling for peace.
00:14:36.940I don't need this drama because if you remember, I was 38 weeks pregnant.
00:14:42.200And so obviously the world responded because I guess Andrew thought it was such a brilliant idea to launch this attack on Christian doctrine during Easter week.
00:14:55.820And I just want to say I am so grateful to all of you who defended me and said how wrong this was, what was happening.
00:15:03.360You just don't treat a colleague like this and called out the sinister nature of what it was that he was doing.
00:15:09.760And he kept it up trying to justify it, doing interview after interview after people essentially revolted and said, how can you do this thing?
00:15:19.160By then veering into what I would call Hitler dog logic.
00:15:23.180They're like, what are you talking about?
00:24:33.060The founder of this NGO was trained by the U.S. State Department.
00:24:37.460The list includes me, Elon Musk, David Sachs, Jim Banks, Rand Paul, Jack Posobiec, Charlie Kirk, Candace Owens, J.D. Vance, Michael Knowles.
00:26:12.920He is obviously a psychopath, a deranged psychopath, also a liar.
00:26:17.220And yes, he is, in fact, sending Christians to the slaughter under the guise of something else.
00:26:21.300I think he is just your regular Bolshevik.
00:26:24.640You see men wearing crosses, being dragged out of their homes, screaming, praying, asking not to be dragged out of their homes.
00:26:31.420And it is, in fact, a meat-grinding operation.
00:26:33.700And I think because many of us have the courage to call this out and to stand up to these state-sponsored initiatives and ask questions about what is actually going on, we have wound up on his list.
00:27:08.780I'm going to keep talking about Preborn.
00:27:10.460They have just the most wonderful Christian heart that is operating behind this company.
00:27:16.480I can't even—I don't even want to get into the people that work at the company because I won't even be able to tell you more about what it is that they actually do.
00:27:22.720But we all know what we're fighting here with Planned Parenthood.
00:29:21.920I don't know if it's Providence, but this is a true story.
00:29:25.580So I'm just going to share it with you guys.
00:29:26.600Back in 2022, obviously, when Kanye tweeted the infamous Death at Con 3 tweet, and I had been spending a lot of time with Kanye, and the whole world came down on him, and they banished him, and they said,
00:29:42.160you must go away and never return, you know, it was a very difficult situation for me to maneuver.
00:29:47.740First and foremost, because I just don't believe in ever throwing friends under the bus.
00:29:52.160And there was this, like, obsessive journalist effort to make me do it, to make me join the chorus of voices that were saying awful things about him.
00:30:02.040I don't know why they wanted me to do it.
00:30:10.060I just thought to myself, at the end of the day, all I'm ever trying to do is lay my head in the pillow.
00:30:14.100If I wanted something to somebody that is in my life, I say those things privately, as I've said on the show over and over again.
00:30:19.160Whether that is a colleague, a friend, a family member, you deal with these situations privately is the right thing to do if you have any sense of honor.
00:30:29.080And he, at that moment, right when that tweet had happened, wanted to come on my show to talk about it, to talk about what was going on in his life that made him say that.
00:30:36.760And that request was turned down, obviously, because that was not my own network.
00:31:01.820And the only thing I could say to him at that time was, I have this ghetto camera.
00:31:07.320Why don't we go to my house and just record a podcast?
00:31:09.900Like right now, with all of this fire going on, I think that might have been the day that he had found out about Adidas or maybe it was another company.
00:31:18.160And I just said, let's just sort of lock this up in a time capsule because one day I will have my own platform.
00:31:25.000And I do want to hear what it is that you're thinking right now and why you're doing this.
00:31:30.140You know, your whole life from the outside looks like it's being burned down.
00:33:51.020I'm only going to give you a minute of it right now, because we are so out of time.
00:33:55.100And really, this episode is just announcing that I'm back.
00:33:57.020And also, I want to double-check with him that he's okay with this time capsule.
00:34:00.420It's really remarkable to hear what he is saying now, in the retrospect.
00:34:06.100And sometimes the time things sound totally insane.
00:34:09.080And then when you listen to it backwards, you hear where his heart was at.
00:34:13.040So take a listen to this little teaser.
00:34:15.700There is a way to appeal to both sides and find that place, that place of happiness.
00:34:22.920There are things, there's things where, like, Trump and Biden had a lot of places where they aligned when I looked at their policies.
00:34:32.080So I'm really interested in really bringing happiness back to the world, bringing joy back to the world.
00:34:41.900But we have to call people on what they're doing for there to be happiness in the world.
00:34:49.420We can't just say, oh, it's okay for people to, like, super complicate deals and to collude on deals and to not look at us as human beings, as artists and athletes and actors.
00:35:02.000That we have to be willing to, like, stand up for that to be able to change something.
00:35:06.220And we need to come together as a society to be the first civilization that actually became civil, you know, to stop war.
00:35:17.300Like, people, it's a possibility of having a worldless world where the human species is not at war with each other.
00:35:28.540But we are more sophisticated because of social media, because of the information that we have now.
00:35:37.620And we just we got to have people like us and God using us to push that to the to the next side.
00:35:44.240We got to get control of our country. We have to get control of our family.
00:35:48.060And right now there has been an agenda in the media and in politics to remove God, remove the family and to remove our country from us.
00:35:57.780So it's time for us to take control again and with God's with God and God's on our side.
00:36:04.680So that's what's going to happen. I've got faith in that. In Jesus name.
00:36:10.980I would also say, you guys, that is that's it. And there is a lot more.
00:36:16.480And this is just the beginning. This is just the first episode. We are just getting started.
00:36:20.620Do not be the last person, of course, to join Club Candice.
00:36:24.200By the way, we're also selling signed ones. The first one that I signed is going to be sent to Andrew Clavin so he can capture his own woke right tears.
00:36:33.400I want to make sure he has something that will keep them cold, that will keep them hot.
00:36:36.800I don't know if they run hot or cold. I don't know what's motivating Andrew Clavin.
00:36:40.280But I do know that he is going to get one of the signed mugs, which means there's not going to be much left because that is obviously limited.
00:36:46.040And again, these will be discontinued every time we hit the next million followers.
00:36:52.100You got to catch them all like Pokemon. So head to clubcandice.com if you are looking for a meaningful way to support my independent work.
00:37:00.740You guys, I love you all. I got to tell you, when I found out that my show was canceled, I was I was really sad.
00:37:06.700Then I remembered, wait a minute. I am Candice. I am the show. These are my people.
00:37:13.860You can't cancel Candice, and nobody knows that better than my great friend and colleague, Ben Shapiro.
