00:00:13.280 coffee together, and just go over what's been going on over the course of the week.
00:00:17.080 I love doing these videos with you guys.
00:00:19.060 It's a lot of fun to just kind of see what you guys have been up to in the comments,
00:00:22.200 and I love to just catch up.
00:00:23.880 So before we hop into today's video, I would love if you would consider subscribing to
00:00:27.960 my Substack newsletter. If you become a premium subscriber, you will get access to two exclusive
00:00:33.240 videos every month, as well as weekly articles, content pitch contests, and exclusive Q&As just
00:00:40.020 for you. So if you are interested, head to the link in my description box or go to
00:00:44.400 classicallyabby.substack.com. But now grab a cup of coffee or some water, and let's hop into it.
00:00:50.500 So the first thing that I want to talk about is that I am going to a wedding. Oh my goodness,
00:00:55.440 it is wedding season. Who is excited? It's finally wedding season after a year of pretty
00:01:01.020 much no weddings because of COVID. I mean, I will be honest, I have been to two weddings.
00:01:07.340 Two? Three? Two? I think I went to two weddings during the pandemic. I know that it's technically
00:01:13.460 still the pandemic. I don't. I think we're all done with the pandemic, let's be honest. Summer 2021,
00:01:18.600 2021, we're ready for you. So I am going to a wedding this weekend, and I'm very excited. It's
00:01:25.880 a friend of my husband's and mine, and we really are so excited to see her and see some of our
00:01:31.140 friends at the wedding as well. I love weddings. If you didn't know this already, I'm obsessed with
00:01:36.820 weddings. I love them. I love going to weddings. I love dressing up for them. I love dancing. I love
00:01:42.460 celebrating. I usually cry at the ceremony. So I'm pretty excited, if you couldn't tell. I got a new
00:01:49.880 dress I'm excited to wear. I really didn't need it, but I kind of wanted it. I went to TJ Maxx and I
00:01:59.300 found something that was very inexpensive, but I maybe will do a poll maybe today on my Instagram
00:02:05.580 and ask you guys which dress you think I should wear. Maybe I'll do that. So you guys can let me
00:02:11.460 know, but I also am interested in doing a video on my channel where I try on dresses from Amazon that
00:02:18.400 you could wear to weddings. So I'd love to hear if you guys would be interested in that. Let me know
00:02:22.500 in the comments. I think I'm going to do like a modest wedding guest dresses from Amazon video
00:02:27.580 where I could try them on, and you could see if they're good quality, and you guys could like get
00:02:32.240 them for yourself if you're interested. So yes, let me know in the comments if that's something you are
00:02:36.480 interested in, and also let me know if you're going to any weddings, if this is your summer of
00:02:40.740 weddings. Because we have three weddings, four weddings. We have four weddings this summer,
00:02:47.020 so I'm pretty excited, and I'm hoping I have enough dresses. I mean, I definitely have enough
00:02:53.080 dresses. I'm curious if you guys want to see a summer background. I was thinking about changing
00:02:58.260 up my background just a little bit and putting some fun summer themed things on this side. This
00:03:03.800 is probably just going to stay the same, but on this side I wasn't sure if you guys would be
00:03:07.580 interested in seeing something a little bit more summery. Let me know in the comments if you'd like
00:03:11.680 to see a little bit of a change up for summer. This is is more springy, so you guys let me know what
00:03:17.600 you think about that because I always have fun changing up my background, but I also don't need
00:03:22.660 to, so I just want to know what you guys think. Now let's talk about the cicadas. They're everywhere.
00:03:29.940 It is crazy out here. We have so many cicadas out here. They are so loud. They are so big. They are
00:03:42.080 all over the ground after they die, and the trees are shaking. It's so intense, you guys. Jacob and I
00:03:50.920 actually looked up the whole life cycle of cicadas. It's fascinating. I mean, who came up with that?
00:03:58.840 But I, it's just crazy. It's really, really crazy. Let me know if you guys are experiencing the same
00:04:05.480 thing, if you have a crazy cicada thing happening in your area, because we definitely do. I'd love to
00:04:11.740 hear. On a more serious note, I want to talk about the anti-semitic attacks that are happening
00:04:16.900 around the world. I'm a public-facing Jew, and that means that I am unsafe, not just because I'm
00:04:24.480 in the public eye, but because I am Jewish, and people know it, and I stand with Israel, and people
00:04:31.060 know it. Attacks like this are what happens when you have critical theory, when you think that Jews
00:04:38.740 are no longer oppressed, when we are now the oppressors because we have a Jewish state that is
00:04:45.560 continually attacked by rockets that are aimed at civilian areas. And because of that, because we
00:04:53.600 are considered oppressors, because we have a Jewish state, people can run down the street calling for 0.97
00:05:00.020 Jews and attack them. There's no excuse for this behavior. There's no excuse for why people are 0.99
00:05:07.880 anti-Semites. And let's call it for what it is, Jew hatred. Don't let the radical left make you believe 0.89
00:05:15.280 that they stand on the side of Jews here. They stirred the controversy. They are the ones who 1.00
00:05:22.600 don't believe that Israel has a right to defend its people. And if Israel doesn't have a right to 0.78
00:05:28.300 defend its Jews, then why should America? So stand with the Jews in your life, stand against critical
00:05:35.060 theory, and stop anti-Semitism. The last thing I want to talk about is a tweet that went viral that
00:05:41.860 said, guess who just found out she's going through the next six months of pregnancy, plus labor, plus 1.00
00:05:47.380 delivery, to bring a white man into this world and has real mixed feelings about it? This gal. This tweet 0.60
00:05:54.040 is abhorrent. That you have mixed feelings about your child that has yet to be born because of the
00:06:00.580 color of his skin and because of his gender. And because of critical theory, this woman thinks she 1.00
00:06:07.340 should have mixed feelings about her son because he is of the oppressive class before he has even
00:06:15.980 been born. Because he has privilege. Because he has privilege as a white male. This is the problem
00:06:25.400 with critical theory in a nutshell. You cannot judge people as individuals. You can't raise your son
00:06:32.340 with no preconceived notions about what he will become. This is disgusting. This is the world we 0.97
00:06:43.060 are living in. Critical theory is no joke. Being woke is no joke. Take the time. Research these ideas.
00:06:50.860 Understand them so you can combat them. Going into this weekend, that's what I want to leave you with.
00:06:55.920 So that was my video today. Let me know in the comments what you guys have been up to, what you guys
