Hello beautiful ladies and welcome to today's video where I'll be showing you how to achieve
00:00:04.500
this classic winter look. So I'm going to start by priming the skin and then I'm going to go on
00:00:09.220
to foundation. I'm using the Healthy Skin Foundation by Physicians Formula and I'm
00:00:13.360
going to paint that on my face. I like this foundation a lot. Clearly I love it given how
00:00:19.980
much I'm dancing. And I'm going to pat that in with a damp sponge. I think the combination of
00:00:24.920
this foundation with a damp sponge makes my skin look really healthy especially in the winter
00:00:29.480
when I get dry patches. I have combo skin so I'm both oily and dry. I'm just going to pat that in
00:00:36.500
all over the face and then I'm going to continue on with my L'Oreal True Match Concealer. I'm going
00:00:42.220
to put that under the eyes and down the center of the face just to give myself a little bit of
00:00:46.140
brightness. I'm going to tap that in with the same damp sponge. Then I'm going to go in with a powder
00:00:52.020
by Bare Minerals and I'm going to set my concealer so that I don't have any creasing and then I'm
00:00:57.360
going to set the rest of my face too just so that my makeup lasts throughout the day. I use a powder
00:01:02.820
that doesn't make me oily or dry. So now I'm going in with a contour shade and I'm going to go underneath
00:01:12.540
my cheekbones as well as around my forehead just to give myself some definition and some warmth. I
00:01:20.700
went into with two different brushes and two different shades. So this brush is a little bit
00:01:24.680
narrower. I can use it down the sides of my nose to give myself a very very slight contour and then
00:01:30.260
I'm going in with a bigger brush and a warmer shade just to warm up the skin. This is a new blush that I
00:01:36.480
got. I am very excited about it clearly. It's black. I got it for Halloween and it goes on the skin
00:01:42.900
really beautifully actually surprisingly. It gives this really pretty flush. I'm then continuing with a
00:01:51.140
really pretty highlight from Tarte and I'm just going to put that on the tops of the cheekbones. I think that
00:01:56.520
highlights really fun in the summer but it's especially important in the winter because it gives you this
00:02:02.080
natural glow from within so it doesn't look like your skin is just completely dehydrated. So I put a little
00:02:08.160
bit of that on the nose and a little bit above the lip and I'm going to set my skin with a setting spray. I do this
00:02:14.200
before my eye makeup and then I continue on. I use a light brown in the crease. I just go windshield
00:02:22.440
using windshield wiper motions and I put some of that brown shade underneath my eyelashes as well.
00:02:30.600
Then I take a little bit of a deeper shade and I go into the crease into that outer V just to give a
00:02:35.980
little bit more definition using those same windshield wiper motions and then I take my finger and you can see
00:02:42.040
the shade is very pigmented. I put this all over the lid. It's really shiny and beautiful. I think that
00:02:47.740
it's just enough attention on the eyes without drawing attention away from the lips that we're
00:02:52.760
going to do. So then I took my brush and I just went back in made sure there were no harsh lines
00:02:56.940
and then I set my eyebrows with a gel. I'm very lucky because I don't really have to do much for my
00:03:02.480
eyebrows. I just set them in place but if I don't set them in place they'll look crazy. So this is the
00:03:08.580
this part the step that scares a lot of people. This is where I do my eyeliner. So I start off just by
00:03:15.860
doing a line across the entire top lid and then I extend a little line out from the corner of my eye to
00:03:22.860
the end of my eyebrow and connect those two things and fill in the negative space. So you can see I have
00:03:31.500
to take my time a bit and then I just freehand it. I don't have to worry too much about them being
00:03:36.620
exactly even because nobody can really tell. It just gives a little bit of oomph to your eye when
00:03:41.960
you're not doing a really crazy eye look. It just gives that little extra thing that that makes us
00:03:48.180
all happy. So then I curled my lashes and put on some mascara. Just popped that on right there and
00:03:55.060
as you can see it makes a big difference having mascara on. It gives your eyes a little bit of extra
00:04:00.980
lift. And then I went ahead and took out my hair clips, put on some lipstick and that's the finished
00:04:07.760
look. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. If you did please subscribe so you can see the next one
