00:01:26.380 Alrighty ladies so let's get started. I am going to start with this prime light

00:01:31.960 face primer from Milani. I want to have my makeup look luminous but also stay all

00:01:37.900 day so I'm going to use a luminous primer but the foundation I'm going to use is

00:01:42.820 one that lasts all day and it is a little bit drier. It's not a kind of dewy

00:01:46.960 formula. It's more of a matte formula which I kind of want the best of both

00:01:52.060 worlds. I want normal looking skin. So I'm using a luminous primer and a matte

00:01:57.940 foundation and using those two things together gives me exactly what I want.

00:02:02.260 As you can see my natural skin isn't perfect. I have scarring, I have redness, so

00:02:09.760 whenever anyone tells me I have nice skin I say the power of makeup is that it can

00:02:41.860 to take a damp sponge, I already wet this, this is from EcoTools, and I'm going to just

00:02:47.140 tap this all over the skin and even out my base. Are you doing anything for the

00:03:00.940 anybody? Is anyone coming to visit you? I know that this year obviously just like

00:03:05.420 everything else Christmas and Hanukkah and all of the holidays have a wrench

00:03:10.820 thrown into them because of COVID. So I'm curious to know if you're going to be

00:03:15.260 able to see family this year. So as I tap this out I'm really just looking to even

00:03:20.000 out my skin tone. Just kind of cover up any discoloration and just kind of even

00:03:27.620 everything out. Like I said I have some redness in my skin and so I like to have

00:03:33.500 just a nice clean base and I'm not looking for perfection. It doesn't need

00:03:37.640 to totally matte everything out. It doesn't need to be totally full coverage

00:03:40.740 but I do want to cover up those areas that are a little bit more blotchy or

00:03:45.800 have scarring or anything like that. Next up I'm going to take my absolute

00:03:49.160 favorite concealer. This is the Charlotte Tilbury concealer and I have it in fair.

00:03:53.320 Look I've already hit pan. I love it so much. So I'm going to tap this under the

00:03:58.220 eyes and up into this part of the eye here because that's where I get a lot of

00:04:04.700 purple discoloration and this is just going to even everything out and make me

00:04:10.580 look a little bit less tired. For those of my followers who are Jewish this is

00:04:19.700 coming out just in time for Hanukkah so that's gonna be fun. I'm excited for

00:04:23.560 Hanukkah this year because I'm going to be doing vlogica which I'm super excited

00:04:27.520 about and I will tell you about it in just one second. So one of the things that I

00:04:31.840 have recently been doing with my concealer is I've been going in with a fairly

00:04:35.560 light concealer. This is the NARS creamy concealer in light one Chantilly and I'm

00:04:40.940 only tapping a tiny amount right where my circles are the darkest right in this

00:04:47.340 part right here. I'm not bringing it up under the eye. I'm not trying to do a

00:04:52.600 crazy shape and I remember seeing this in like a Sephora tutorial on YouTube a

00:04:57.600 while back and I thought it was really smart and it just kind of brightens up

00:05:01.780 the darkest part of your eye so there it is and that's it. Next I'm going to take

00:05:08.140 the number seven Lift and Luminate powder and as you can see I've hit pan on this

00:05:12.340 too pretty hard and I'm going to take this sponge and I'm going to tap it under

00:05:17.600 the eyes. Now I have very bad little wrinkles underneath my eyes just lines

00:05:22.520 that will always crease but before I set it I definitely want to make sure I tap

00:05:26.880 those out so I'm not setting the creasing. I want to make sure that I'm actually

00:05:31.380 getting the cleanest I can before I set it down so I'm just going to take a peek

00:05:35.520 here. Yep I already have creasing just because that is the way my eyes are shaped

00:05:39.300 and I'm going to go in here and now I can set it down. This is just a Real Techniques

00:05:44.260 little eye sponge. I actually do like it I think it's useful because it gets into

00:05:48.280 the eye area very well. Next up I'm going to take the Age Perfect Creamy Powder

00:05:55.380 Foundation and I'm going to just go in with a fluffy brush and I'm just going to

00:05:59.960 set my whole face with this so that my makeup doesn't move around. I may go in

00:06:05.140 after I'm done with this and I'm going to use a powder puff a little puff that

00:06:09.420 comes with this and just go over any areas that need extra coverage. So I'm

00:06:14.400 going to take this little sponge and I'm just going to tap this in the areas

00:06:19.260 where I just need a little extra love. And before I continue I'm going to put on a

00:06:24.360 little bit of lip balm in preparation for my lipstick later. I'm next going to

00:06:29.280 just fill in my brows a little bit. I have a few bald spots as you can see just a

00:06:33.180 few here. If you're wondering where I'm looking my mirror is right here so that's

00:06:36.240 why I keep looking down like that. But I do have just a few little bald spots so

00:06:39.720 I'm just going to fill those in with the LA Girl Soft Black Brow Pomade and then I

00:06:44.220 am going to go in with my CoverGirl Easy Breezy Brow to hold everything in

00:06:48.120 place. I'm just using this little angled brush and while I do that I'll tell you a

00:06:52.920 little bit more about Vlogica. So Vlogmas is a thing you probably have seen it on

00:07:02.360 Christmas and they'll post every single day. And I'm not gonna lie that's

00:07:06.220 seems really stressful and I'm always very impressed by people who can do that.

00:07:09.760 That's 25 straight days of filming and editing. That's amazing to me. But you

00:07:15.220 know I thought to myself there's not enough Jews doing the same thing and we

00:07:19.780 have Hanukkah. So why not do Vlogica and eight days seems really doable. I could

00:07:29.280 definitely do. So this year I'm going to be doing Vlogica. I'm going to be filming

00:07:35.220 each day of Hanukkah and posting each day. So the only thing to keep in mind is

00:07:46.560 be able to post on Saturday or film on Saturday. So I might film on Saturday

00:08:14.940 going to use this brow gel now to hold my brows in place. Now I'm going to go in

00:08:24.180 with my bronzer. So this is the Tantric bronzer from Marc Jacobs and I actually

00:08:30.660 got this at TJ Maxx. It was very on sale which was the only reason I was able to

00:08:34.680 purchase it. So I got this and now I'm going to take this kind of angled soft

00:08:39.240 fluffy brush, tap off the excess and I'm just gonna pounce it right where the

00:08:43.680 cheekbone is kind of on the top like underneath and then bringing it up and

00:08:49.180 that'll just accentuate your contour and then you can kind of like blend it out

00:08:54.700 and make it softer and that will give you that perfect easy look that you are

00:09:01.480 going for. That easy bronzed but contoured look. Just kind of dragging it up and then

00:09:07.540 I'm also going to go underneath my jawline and around my hairline. So I'm also

00:09:14.900 going to contour my nose so I'm going to be using this angled brush. It's kind of a

00:09:18.240 fluffier brush and I'm going to tap into this, tap off that excess and then just

00:09:22.360 go down this side of my nose. Kind of blend it down the side here. Same thing on

00:09:30.540 the other side, blend it down the side of the nose and then bring it down. And I'm

00:09:36.900 going to go here just to shorten the tip of my nose and blending it. And that's it.

00:09:46.620 Now if you go too hard with it, don't even worry about it. Just take your damp sponge,

00:09:50.740 tap it out, and it's all good. Now I'm gonna go in with my blush. So I'm using the

00:09:56.100 Essence blush and it's in the shade 40, which is Beloved. I'm gonna pop this open.

00:10:01.860 Maybe. And then I'm gonna take my Real Techniques brush, tap a bit of this on the

00:10:08.640 cheeks. Last but not least for the face, I'm going to be taking the Balm's The

00:10:13.360 Mayonizer Sisters. And we have a bronzer, a blush topper, and a highlighter. I'm going

00:10:18.040 to take a highlighting brush. I'm going to take the blush topper, just put it on

00:10:22.300 very lightly on my cheeks, and then take the highlight and put that on the

00:10:26.680 cheekbones. And bring a little down the middle of my nose, a little above my upper

00:10:35.020 lip. And that is it for the skin and the brows. So now all I have to do are my

00:10:39.360 eyes and my lips. And I'm gonna zoom you in for that. So now that I have you all

00:10:43.980 zoomed in, we're going to get to work on the eyes. Are you somebody who likes doing

00:10:48.660 bold eyes for the holidays? Or are you somebody who likes doing bold lips for

00:10:52.020 the holidays? I'm giving you an option where the eye look is bold, but not too

00:10:56.280 bold. So you can still wear it with bold lipstick, but if you don't want to, you

00:11:00.420 don't have to. So I kind of like being able to have options with my looks as far as

00:11:04.440 what I can do with my lipstick. So for the eyes, I wanted to do something that

00:11:09.000 was cooler toned, a little bit more icy. I thought that'd be pretty for winter and

00:11:13.200 for Hanukkah, as well as for Christmas. I think it'll be perfect for you guys. So

00:11:17.440 I'm actually going to be using this shade. This shade is going to be the star of the

00:11:21.100 show. This is from the Tati Beauty palette. If you don't have a palette like

00:11:26.100 this, you can just use a silver shimmer or a silver sparkle, silver glitter,

00:11:30.020 whatever you have. Just grab that. That's easy enough. You can probably find

00:11:34.640 something cheap at the drugstore as well. There are a lot of good options for this

00:11:38.300 kind of thing. I just happen to have this, so I'm going to be using this. I'm also

00:11:41.940 going to be dipping into the Lorac Gold eyeshadow palette, which I love. This is a

00:11:46.720 gorgeous eyeshadow palette for every day. I totally recommend this, and if you want

00:11:51.260 just simple eye looks, oh my gosh, this is so beautiful. I love it. But I'm going to be

00:11:56.660 using it for the cooler toned matte shades today. So what I'm going to do is

00:12:01.580 I'm first going to start with this palette, the Tati Beauty palette. I'm

00:12:05.340 going to dip into Aura. I'm just going to use the plain kind of skin tone shade, and 0.98

00:12:10.580 I'm just going to go in with a flat shader brush. So I'll be taking this guy

00:12:15.000 here, dipping in, and applying this to my eyes just to create a base.

00:12:26.660 Next, I'm going to take this shade, which is called Soothe, and I'm taking the matte

00:12:33.280 version, and I'm going to go in with a fluffy brush, and I'm going to put this in

00:12:37.800 the outer V of my eye.

00:12:44.960 Next up, I'm going to go into this Lorac palette. I'm going to go into this shade

00:12:49.240 here, which is like a cooler mid-toned brown. I'm going to go in with the same

00:12:52.800 exact brush, just in that outer V, and then bringing it through the crease and

00:12:58.500 windshield wiper motions.

00:13:03.960 The last thing I'm going to do is I'm going to dip into this cooler, darker brown, 1.00

00:13:08.340 and unedited is the name of it. I'm going to use a smaller fluffy brush. I'm going to

00:13:12.560 tap into that, tap off the excess, and then really hit that V. Literally draw a sideways V,

00:13:19.140 and then drag it into the crease, and just make sure that it's blended out.

00:13:28.840 And to make sure it's really blended, you can always go back into that mid-tone brown

00:13:32.300 and just go over top of it with that first fluffy brush. 0.88

00:13:36.320 Now I'm going to take an angled brush, and I'm going to go back into that darker,

00:13:40.460 darker brown, and I'm going to go on the lower lash line and drag it to about the middle 0.94

00:13:46.040 of my eye. And then I'm going to take that smaller, fluffy brush, go back into that mid-tone

00:13:51.380 color, and blend out the lower lash line.

00:13:55.940 Now the next thing I'm going to do is go back into this palette, grab the metallic shade of

00:14:01.000 Aura, which is this kind of shimmery, light shade, and I'm going to put that in the inner

00:14:05.720 corner of my eye and drag it up a bit, like so.

00:14:09.700 So just in the inner corner, and then dragging it up like this.

00:14:15.380 You can also put a little bit of that underneath the brow bone.

00:14:19.920 Now the last shadow thing we're going to do is I'm going to go in with this shade here,

00:14:33.640 Now to finish off the eyes, I'm going to do a little wing.

00:14:54.180 So the way that you want to do a cat eye is you actually want to draw a line from the corner
