00:00:00.000 Hello Classic Crew and welcome to today's video where we're going to be talking about highlights
00:00:05.040 from the ladies of the RNC. So I decided to watch a few of the speeches that women of the RNC gave
00:00:14.120 and I hadn't been watching it as it was on so I decided to hop on YouTube and just watch a bunch
00:00:19.520 of speeches that these women had given and it was really inspiring. They are living conservative
00:00:26.120 values, they have families, they believe in God, and they do all this while being high-powered women
00:00:31.300 in their fields. They are speaking out for the values that they cherish and it is so cool to see
00:00:37.000 women doing it all. They are being mothers and also fighting for what they believe in and I think
00:00:42.900 that's really incredible for us as women to see. One of the cool things about seeing the women of
00:00:48.300 the RNC speak is that you can see that they are a great example of feminine strength. A lot of the
00:00:53.860 time you'll hear the left say that conservatives believe that women aren't strong or shouldn't be
00:00:59.060 strong or can't be strong. That's a lie. Conservatives believe that women's strength comes from their
00:01:04.720 femininity and that women have strengths that are different than men. Women are the practical voice
00:01:09.660 of moral reason. Women can help remind people of their duties. Think about this is kind of a common
00:01:15.520 thing that happens, right? You'll have a mother and she'll have two kids. She'll have two sons and
00:01:20.020 they're fighting and they'll say they don't want to talk to each other anymore. A mother can look
00:01:23.840 at her sons. A woman can look at that situation and say, you guys are having a fight that isn't
00:01:29.400 that important but what is most important is family and you need to resolve this and that's
00:01:35.220 something that is just an example of the kind of strengths that women do have. I also wanted
00:01:40.020 to mention how beautiful the women of the RNC looked. They all wore beautiful dresses, very modest.
00:01:46.820 They all had lovely makeup on. They were all doing their hair really well and it is important
00:01:52.220 to talk about these things because the way that you look is the first impression that you're going
00:01:56.460 to make, especially when you're doing a recorded speech on television. So for them to look as
00:02:01.760 beautiful as they did, it shows to us that they are collected, that they know what they want,
00:02:08.340 that they take care of themselves, and that they're confident in themselves. It makes all of their
00:02:13.180 arguments stronger for them to look good, for them to look ready. And that's really what it is,
00:02:18.740 is that when you look beautiful, you look ready. You look like you're ready to take on the world.
00:02:23.000 You look ready to address an audience and it's exciting to see that because you know that these
00:02:28.940 women came prepared. One thing that I really noticed in all of the speeches that these ladies gave at
00:02:34.400 the RNC was the idea that America is a community. So often when we think about communities, we think
00:02:40.280 about our small groups, the people that we surround ourselves with kind of as individuals or as
00:02:45.760 families or the people who live in our area. But Americans are part of a larger social fabric
00:02:50.020 that makes up essentially one big family. Fellow Americans are your brothers and your sisters,
00:02:55.280 and that's how I feel. And I really loved that these women made this a focal point of their speeches
00:03:00.080 because this is something that women do care about. And this is something that women are kind of
00:03:06.120 the influence for, is communities. Women are the ones who build communities because we're the ones who
00:03:12.280 are creating families, we're the ones who are creating relationships, and we're the ones who
00:03:17.000 want a good place for our children to grow. And so for so many of the speeches that the ladies of the
00:03:21.600 RNC gave to focus on this point, I think made it even more powerful. So now let's get into the
00:03:27.080 individual speeches. I'm going to be talking about six women who spoke at the RNC, so let's get into it.
00:03:32.540 So let's start off with Melania Trump. And I do want to say a couple of things about her before I get
00:03:37.700 into her speech. I think that the left will often write her off as a hypocrite because of her past,
00:03:42.920 but when I look at Melania Trump, she to me is the perfect example of my idea that classic does not
00:03:49.060 mean perfect. I made a video all about this a few months ago, a few weeks ago, and I will definitely
00:03:55.220 link that up above here. But in that video, I talked about the fact that classic, being classic,
00:04:01.020 doesn't mean that you are always classic. It means that you're constantly aiming to be classic over time.
00:04:06.860 And I know that I've made mistakes in my past, and I'm sure that many of us feel that way. But if
00:04:13.560 we're constantly looking towards a higher goal, then that in and of itself is classic. So all I want
00:04:19.980 to say about Melania is that we should judge who she is now, what she's doing now, that she's a
00:04:25.220 mother, that she dresses modestly, that she espouses American beliefs, and not judge who she is now
00:04:31.320 based on what she did in her past. As far as the way that she gave her speech, I was really
00:04:36.420 impressed. I have never seen Melania speak before, and I thought she did a wonderful job.
00:04:41.540 First of all, English is not her first language, and she was very confident in the way that she
00:04:45.440 spoke. And I thought that was really inspiring, because trying to sing in a different language,
00:04:49.740 let alone speak in a different language, is really hard. I do that constantly for opera. So for somebody
00:04:55.480 to get up in front of basically the whole world and give a speech when that's not their first language
00:04:59.100 is very impressive. She made a lot of beautiful points in her speech, but I'm just going to focus on
00:05:04.400 one point from each woman's speech that I talk about today. So I'm going to put a little clip
00:05:09.000 from each speech in this video, and let's get started with that first one.
00:05:12.580 But Donald and I are also inspired by the millions of Americans who wake up each day
00:05:19.160 with a simple yet courageous goal of providing for their families and keeping them safe.
00:05:26.780 You are the backbone of this country.
00:05:29.260 As you guys know, I believe that conservative women are the backbone of America. But the fact
00:05:34.360 of the matter is, I really do believe that the people who go out and support their families
00:05:38.860 and are living with that value are the backbone of America. And I love that Melania brought that up
00:05:44.740 because America is built on families. It's built on people who go out and work and are trying to
00:05:50.680 provide for their children. And that was a really wonderful thing to hear, not only from a speaker
00:05:56.560 at the RNC, but from a woman at the RNC. Next up, let's talk about Nikki Haley. Nikki Haley is the
00:06:02.160 former ambassador of the United States to the UN, and she is really cool. I just think she is a really
00:06:09.260 good representation of a strong woman who is living with conservative values but also fighting for what
00:06:15.020 she believes in. And first of all, let's talk about how awesome it was that she was wearing a bright
00:06:20.300 pink dress while she gave that fiery speech. I absolutely loved that. It was just so awesome to see a
00:06:26.340 woman embracing that feminine strength. Here's the clip. There's one thing I've learned. It's that
00:06:33.280 even on our worst day, we are blessed to live in America. I love that she said that because I truly
00:06:41.000 believe that. America was built on lofty principles. And even when we are struggling to live up to those
00:06:47.200 principles, America is the best country in the world. It's a country that was built on an incredible
00:06:52.440 foundation. And even though we don't always reach the ideals that we strive for as a country, as a
00:06:57.600 nation, we're still striving for them. And that is what America really stands for. I want to talk about
00:07:03.580 Elise Stefanik next. So I actually met Elise Stefanik at the Network for Enlightened Women conference last
00:07:09.340 year, and she gave a speech there, and she was awesome. I absolutely loved what she had to say. She is a really
00:07:15.740 big advocate for women in the Republican party, and she is a representative of New York. She's a strong
00:07:22.620 conservative woman who really does get things done. Here's a clip from her speech. Since our nation's
00:07:27.720 founding, generation after generation of everyday Americans served and sacrificed to preserve and
00:07:34.960 strengthen the American dream, the vision of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and the idea that if you work
00:07:42.680 hard and dream big, you can achieve anything you imagine. I believe in the American dream because I've
00:07:50.680 lived it. It was interesting to hear her talk about how she lived the American dream, that her parents
00:07:55.600 were both small business owners, and that she was the first of her immediate family to go to college, and
00:08:00.340 now she is a representative of her state, which is incredible. The American dream is alive and well, and
00:08:06.560 it's something worth fighting for. I believe there is room enough for anyone to succeed, and it was
00:08:12.000 inspiring to see a woman who has lived the American dream fight so hard for it. Next up, I want to talk
00:08:17.880 about Alice Johnson. She was in jail for almost 22 years, and she was there on a drug charge that did
00:08:24.060 not warrant that long of a jail sentence, and she was so positive. I couldn't believe how positive she was
00:08:32.080 after going through something like that. The nearly 22 years I spent in prison were not wasted. God had a purpose
00:08:42.300 and a plan for my life. I was not delayed or denied. I was destined. For her to talk about being in prison
00:08:51.320 for 22 years and that it wasn't wasted, you could see what a religious person she is, how much faith and resolve
00:08:59.400 she has and how she is now going to fight for what she believes in, and I loved to see that. It was
00:09:06.060 really inspiring. Next up, I want to talk about Kristi Noem. She is the governor of South Dakota, and she got up
00:09:13.760 and spoke as well. America is unique in the world. Government's power at all levels is limited to the
00:09:22.040 confines of our constitution, which protects our God-given liberties and civil rights. We are not
00:09:28.640 and will not be the subjects of an elite class of so-called experts. We the people are the government.
00:09:36.980 I love that she talked about how unique America is and how we the people are the government. We get a
00:09:44.160 say in what happens to us, in what happens to our neighbors, in what happens to our state, and in what
00:09:48.740 happens to our country as a whole, and that is something we should not ever take lightly. Lastly,
00:09:54.720 I wanted to talk about a little section from Ivanka Trump's speech. So here's the clip.
00:10:00.160 We want a culture where differences of opinion and debate are encouraged, not canceled.
00:10:05.860 As you guys know, even though I want to have a safe space for conservative women to be able to speak
00:10:11.700 openly, that doesn't mean I don't want a diversity of ideas. I'm just looking for a place where we can
00:10:17.120 all talk about diverse ideas with respect for one another. And I really love that she addressed that
00:10:23.140 because America is built on that. America is built on open debate and having different ideas that push
00:10:29.780 us to be the best that we can be. And it all comes from a place of respect because if you don't
00:10:34.800 respect somebody else's opinion, you can't have a real discussion with them. So I loved that she
00:10:39.760 addressed that. And it's something that I really do hope becomes more normalized in America. The idea
00:10:45.840 that we can have a difference of opinion and have a respectful conversation as well. Seeing conservative
00:10:51.620 women taking the podium and fighting for what they believe in is so inspiring. And I really wanted to
00:10:57.140 share just a few moments of these speeches with you guys. So if you guys watched any of these speeches
00:11:02.320 at the RNC yourself or just any other speeches from the RNC, what was your favorite moment? I'd love
