Classically Abby - YES, You Can Be Classic AND Play Dungeons And Dragons ｜｜ VLOGUKKAH DAY 3

00:00:00.000 light the candles left to right each night go and add one more

00:00:09.880 by the end of hanukkah we'll have little flames galore

00:00:20.200 hello and welcome to day three of vlogica today is going to be a super short vlog i don't even

00:00:28.480 know how long this vlog is gonna be because it was sabbath today and on sabbath i can't use

00:00:34.080 electronics we have a lot of rules that basically are to prevent us from doing work

00:00:39.020 and honestly they're great we do have some things that we're allowed to do right we're allowed to

00:00:43.780 cook food in advance and we use something called a hot plate which just stays hot all of sabbath

00:00:48.380 and that's how we reheat foods and stuff like that but we can't drive we can't use our phones

00:00:53.860 so i couldn't record anything that happened today but it was just a really nice time my husband and

00:00:59.060 i enjoyed each other's company and it was lovely but sabbath is now over jacob made me this lovely

00:01:06.720 drink it's a vesper and it's one of my favorites

00:01:08.800 so so good he's so good at making cocktails he was actually very sweet he went out and bought the

00:01:17.060 ingredients to make me this drink because he knows how much i like it which was so so nice and then

00:01:21.120 he learned how to make it so i have really been enjoying drinking it and we also played dnd tonight

00:01:28.680 so my husband and i play dungeons and dragons with a few of our friends and i know it's a little bit

00:01:34.280 nerdy but i actually really like it as somebody who grew up and loved lord of the rings loved it

00:01:39.780 seriously if anyone wants to talk about the movies with me in the comments let's get a conversation

00:01:44.720 started i love the idea of dungeons and dragons because you're getting to live in this fantasy world

00:01:50.060 which is super cool so i play a druid and i'm an elf and it's really fun and my husband is playing

00:01:57.660 a bard and he has based his character off of pavarotti it's hilarious and he is so funny so in tonight's

00:02:06.420 game one of the things that we had to do on our quest was fight a dragon and this dragon had a skeleton

00:02:13.220 on its back that was riding him and the skeleton fell off and told my husband's character that if

00:02:21.680 he put the skeleton back on he wouldn't the dragon wouldn't kill him and my husband's character is so 0.94

00:02:28.080 ridiculous and such a showy person that he couldn't decide whether or not to allow himself to die in the 0.69

00:02:35.620 most incredible fashion but he decided not to and we all escaped but it was incredibly funny and it was a 0.95

00:02:42.580 lot of fun it's really fun to do if you're somebody who is into storytelling and enjoys that kind of

00:02:47.520 thing i think you would really like it too so i really like dnd and i enjoy it quite a bit i'm glad

00:02:53.120 you guys have been enjoying vlogica it's been a really fun thing to be able to record these for

00:02:58.180 you guys and i'm really glad you guys enjoyed hearing my husband tell you the story of hanukkah

00:03:02.220 he is a history expert i don't know if he would like if i called him an expert but he knows a lot about

00:03:07.120 history and i really like hearing him talk about it so i'm glad you guys enjoyed it too

00:03:11.400 we really like sharing what hanukkah and our faith is like and how important it is to our lives

00:03:15.940 so it's really fun to share that with you guys and if you are wondering about these glasses they

00:03:20.920 are blue light glasses that i got to work on the computer and i was working on editing my vlog that

00:03:28.560 went up yesterday today for me and yesterday for you guys so that's why i'm wearing them now but i

00:03:35.760 thought they were kind of cute so i left them on so let's go ahead and light the hanukkah candles

00:03:40.440 we are wearing them on so and i just raised them on so and it was kind of beautiful food but ben

00:03:46.680 i watched everybody on this podcast but i've been on this podcast of new things i mean

00:03:51.080 i we saw those places and i realized i was so excited about it and we'll be

00:04:02.060 the man who no one day did i have loved them and please show those movies i found MYcembuy i'm sure they knew i'd be great

00:04:07.160 Thank you.
