00:00:00.160 Most people open Claude and use it
00:00:01.920 like a fancy Google search.
00:00:03.640 That's like buying a Ferrari
00:00:05.160 and only driving it 10 kilometers an hour.
00:00:07.880 I build AI products every single day
00:00:09.980 through my company Martell Ventures,
00:00:11.340 and I heavily use Claude in all my work.
00:00:14.460 So I'm gonna walk you through 16 Claude hacks
00:00:16.760 that will save you hours of time, grow your business,
00:00:19.280 very important, and boost your productivity 0.89
00:00:21.320 in ways that will blow your freaking mind. 0.62
00:00:23.600 Let's get into it.
00:00:24.440 Number one, the memory import.
00:00:26.520 See, if you are still stuck on ChadGBT, so sorry to hear.
00:00:29.680 Now we gotta migrate you over,
00:00:31.320 but you don't wanna lose your contacts.
00:00:33.020 It'll bring over everything, your preferences, your history,
00:00:36.200 and it'll transfer it over like that.
00:00:38.340 It's a simple way to import everything you've done
00:00:40.140 in ChatGPT and bring it over to Claude
00:00:42.280 in less than two minutes.
00:00:43.400 We go to our settings, we go to capabilities,
00:00:46.020 and then start import.
00:00:47.560 Claude then gives you a prompt
00:00:49.100 and then you paste it into ChatGPT.
00:00:51.160 Then it gives you everything it knows about you, gotcha.
00:00:54.060 So you take the output and paste it back into the Claude box.
00:00:56.980 You click add to memory and voila, tu finis, you're done.
00:01:00.500 Hack number two, model selector.
00:01:03.020 Cloud has three different power levels essentially
00:01:05.560 and you gotta pick the right one for the right job.
00:01:08.440 So you click the model selector at the bottom right
00:01:10.860 and then you see we've got Haiku.
00:01:12.760 This is your cheapest and fastest model.
00:01:14.740 Then you've got Sonnet, best for everyday tasks.
00:01:17.420 You've got Opus, that's best for complex tasks
00:01:19.980 or you can select this little adaptive thinking thing
00:01:23.200 so it picks automatically depending on the tasks.
00:01:25.900 So you don't have to think,
00:01:27.000 but then you don't have as much control.
00:01:28.240 I like to set my own control.
00:01:29.380 So for example, if you're looking for patterns and metrics,
00:01:32.180 Opus crushes, it thinks way harder.
00:01:34.960 If you're drafting an email response, Sonnet, it's awesome.
00:01:38.540 And my favorite part, it's faster
00:01:40.080 and it can give you different options.
00:01:41.160 If you're trying to summarize 50 meeting notes,
00:01:43.600 it's just a bunch of data, haiku, instant, done in seconds.
00:01:47.280 Next, hack number three, the Gmail connector.
00:01:49.940 Dan, is it secure?
00:01:51.560 Your security at home is a bazillion times less security
00:01:55.360 than the team at Claude.
00:01:56.480 I just want you to know that.
00:01:57.620 So stop asking me if it's secure
00:01:59.360 and start using the tools to make yourself some money.
00:02:01.580 You should just not be touching your inbox.
00:02:03.480 You can literally do all your email through Claude.
00:02:06.600 But first, we gotta connect it.
00:02:08.160 You go to customize in the sidebar, connectors,
00:02:11.180 then choose Gmail, then log into it.
00:02:13.780 Super easy, click, log in, it's added.
00:02:16.320 I asked Claude to find stuff, summarize it,
00:02:19.020 draft replies for me. 0.91
00:02:20.360 And for what it's worth, Gmail inbox search sucks.
00:02:23.960 So how about we get the AI to search for us?
00:02:27.040 If you want a cheat code and you have an assistant,
00:02:29.000 what I do is I have a Claude account
00:02:31.420 that is for my assistant and I,
00:02:33.040 I've connected to my inbox and they can use that
00:02:36.020 to search my inbox through our shared Claude account
00:02:39.020 so that she can self-serve on any questions
00:02:41.360 she would normally ask me, she can find it in my inbox. 0.98
00:02:44.260 Power move.
00:02:45.140 Hack number four, calendar connector.
00:02:47.520 Similar, but different.
00:02:49.200 Let me tell you why.
00:02:50.060 Essentially, Claude connects your Google Calendar
00:02:52.300 and it can do a lot of cool stuff.
00:02:53.660 Yes, it can schedule things.
00:02:55.200 It can help you with meetings.
00:02:56.760 It can find your free time.
00:02:58.140 But even more important, it can help you analyze your time.
00:03:01.660 So same thing, we go to the same place on the sidebar,
00:03:04.340 connectors, Google Calendar, log in.
00:03:06.920 Now I can go into Clyde and add something
00:03:08.660 like add one hour time block sometime before Friday
00:03:11.600 for me to review our next YouTube outline.
00:03:13.500 It then creates the time block
00:03:14.900 and let me know why it picked that time.
00:03:16.900 An advanced move is to give it your goals for the quarter,
00:03:19.700 maybe for the year, and then say, analyze my calendar.
00:03:23.120 now analyze my email, because you get that too,
00:03:24.960 and see if I'm spending the right amount of time
00:03:27.440 on the projects to achieve those goals.
00:03:29.720 Now it became a business coach.
00:03:31.920 And these are only two connectors,
00:03:33.400 and there's connectors for Slack, Notion, GitHub,
00:03:36.140 Google Drive, and a bunch of others.
00:03:38.180 Now, before we move on, if you're an entrepreneur
00:03:40.600 and you're trying to keep up on all of this AI chaos,
00:03:43.180 but you're maxed out on time, I totally get it.
00:03:45.540 That's why I built my AI company OS Playbook,
00:03:48.440 the exact framework that I use to plug AI
00:03:50.820 into every department within my business.
00:03:53.000 If you want it, it's yours for free.
00:03:54.480 Just DM me AI Business on Instagram at Dan Martell
00:03:57.340 and I'll send it right over to you.
00:03:58.800 Hack number five, artifacts.
00:04:00.820 So essentially what it is,
00:04:01.880 is working apps right in the chat.
00:04:04.640 It essentially creates like little mini apps
00:04:07.620 within the chat that you can use and change things around
00:04:10.020 and just kind of iterate.
00:04:11.280 I get asked every day,
00:04:12.480 hey Dan, I got this idea.
00:04:13.700 I want to hire a developer.
00:04:14.940 How do I find the right person?
00:04:16.260 I go, look in a mirror.
00:04:18.360 You are that person.
00:04:19.940 Try it.
00:04:20.540 just say build me this thing and watch clod build it so for example you could say build me a
00:04:26.300 spreadsheet with sample data and then make the columns editable include the sales reps who's
00:04:30.540 involved the status of the sale the product they sold and any other information you think that
00:04:34.860 would be relevant and then hit boom enter and then pow it just creates these interactive apps
00:04:40.700 in chat so it's not just like an information back and forth now we're building things
00:04:45.820 hack number six interactive visuals now this is my favorite because i used to take the data from
00:04:51.740 claude and then go visualize it in other tools now i get to stay right inside the chat claude
00:04:56.700 builds you live clickable visuals that you can use to explain anything it's literally done what
00:05:02.620 i call accelerated learning so for example you can ask it to visualize the height framework which is
00:05:07.900 how we shoot our short form videos and if you want any context on that just check slack so now it's
00:05:12.060 it's going to use my slack as a connector and it builds me this cool whole visual that i can click
00:05:16.220 on and expand to learn more about what it is and it's all done by pulling the information and
00:05:20.780 visualizing it it's as simple as telling it visualize this hack number seven projects think
00:05:26.700 of it like this it's essentially a folder that's pre-loaded with all the context you might have
00:05:31.500 around a project see why it's called projects and then you can actually invite other people
00:05:35.660 to collaborate with you on those projects so that your chats and their chats are all in one place
00:05:40.460 and you can kind of riff off each other if you're on a team account i highly recommend you do so
00:05:44.620 here's how we do it we go to the sidebar then you click projects then new project now i drop
00:05:50.060 context in there so everything from internal documents to pdfs to anything i've downloaded
00:05:55.900 any instructions copy paste other chats you put all that in the knowledge section when you start
00:06:00.940 chatting with it it has all that reference material to be able to give you good answers
00:06:04.940 I have every one of my coaching calls transcribed.
00:06:08.520 So if I'm looking for an example, a story, a client,
00:06:11.680 I can go into the project that has already linked up
00:06:14.100 to that Google Drive and tell it to search every transcript
00:06:17.280 to find examples or stories around this pain
00:06:19.400 or this challenge, and that feeds me ideas
00:06:21.800 for me to talk about in my content.
00:06:23.460 And a pro move is you can create a system prompt
00:06:26.200 that you copy and paste into the instruction box,
00:06:28.580 which then essentially acts
00:06:30.120 like what used to be called a custom GPT,
00:06:32.460 so that you can get the same result over and over
00:06:34.600 every time you come into that project.
00:06:36.220 Hack number eight, voice mode.
00:06:38.420 Now we get to talk to Claude,
00:06:39.840 because guess what?
00:06:40.760 I can talk three times faster than I can type.
00:06:43.260 So it's super easy.
00:06:44.160 On a desktop, click that little wave form
00:06:46.300 at the bottom of your prompt bar.
00:06:47.740 On mobile, just click the mic button.
00:06:49.520 I do this all the time while I'm driving,
00:06:51.000 I'm having fun, it's easy.
00:06:52.460 And the cool part is it transcribes a whole conversation,
00:06:54.640 so if you ever wanna use that in something else,
00:06:56.560 it's all there to go.
00:06:57.600 The best part is you can be super bestie
00:06:59.760 in whatever you're thinking about,
00:07:01.020 and Claude is smart enough to go,
00:07:02.440 oh, you're probably talking about this
00:07:04.080 and give you a really great answer.
00:07:05.360 Hack number nine, Chrome extension.
00:07:07.400 Non-negotiable for me.
00:07:08.620 The Chrome extension is a go-to tool.
00:07:11.320 If you're a Cloud user, please install it.
00:07:13.740 So what it does is it allows you to use your browser
00:07:16.760 through Cloud to automate tasks.
00:07:19.040 So the first thing we gotta do is go to the Chrome web store
00:07:21.700 and find Cloud for Chrome and install it.
00:07:24.380 And what it is, pretty much everything you do
00:07:27.160 in your browser, the Cloud Chrome browser extension
00:07:30.060 could do for you.
00:07:30.840 So for example, if you got like a spreadsheet
00:07:32.620 and you got all these numbers and you're like,
00:07:33.960 I wonder what the pattern is
00:07:35.240 and what should I pay attention to?
00:07:36.740 You can just ask it.
00:07:37.880 Then Claude takes a snapshot of the site,
00:07:40.060 starts scraping everything, clicks buttons,
00:07:41.680 works inside your browser, and it finds the insights.
00:07:44.620 It does everything that you would have to do
00:07:46.360 that you might not even know how to do
00:07:48.120 for you automagically.
00:07:49.880 Hack number 10, co-work.
00:07:51.720 This is where it gets nerdy.
00:07:52.920 Like my kind of people are sticking around
00:07:54.720 right to the end, starting now.
00:07:56.200 What it is, is Claude will take over your computer
00:07:59.260 and do work on your computer while you step away.
00:08:02.680 On your Claw desktop, so it's a separate app
00:08:04.900 you have to install on your desktop,
00:08:06.500 open up and you'll see Cowork.
00:08:08.800 Open Cowork, it's in the top left.
00:08:10.500 And here's a tip, make sure you toggle on computer use
00:08:13.420 in your settings, because it needs that to be able
00:08:15.720 to do things on your computer.
00:08:17.400 Then you just describe any tasks you need to be done
00:08:19.660 and the steps that it requires,
00:08:20.880 and Claw breaks it down and executes step by step.
00:08:24.100 So for example, you could say,
00:08:25.280 pull last month's sales numbers from HubSpot,
00:08:27.520 drop them in a Google Sheet, build a summary chart,
00:08:29.840 and post on the Teams Slack channel before Monday 9 a.m.
00:08:32.400 and it'll take over control of my computer to do it all.
00:08:35.100 It's like Claude's hands doing the work for you.
00:08:37.880 Hack number 11, scheduled tasks.
00:08:40.180 This is one I use every day
00:08:42.020 because there's things that I do every day
00:08:43.600 that I just want somebody else to do for me and it's Claude.
00:08:46.220 So it's within co-work, just type forward slash schedule
00:08:49.900 and then it'll allow you to schedule
00:08:51.420 whatever you just typed.
00:08:52.640 Things that used to be done by my chief of staff
00:08:54.640 that honestly she doesn't have to do,
00:08:56.040 I'll just set it up, schedule it
00:08:57.400 and nobody has to worry about it.
00:08:58.700 It does at the same time every day
00:09:00.660 as long as my computer's open.
00:09:02.260 So every morning, Claude could read your inbox.
00:09:04.260 It can send you a summary.
00:09:05.480 It can figure out what's urgent.
00:09:06.780 It could tell you what's new in the world.
00:09:08.340 It can essentially do everything that you're probably doing
00:09:10.380 every time you sit down at your computer anyway.
00:09:11.960 Hack number 12, Claude Dispatch.
00:09:14.480 We can essentially talk to Claude through Dispatch.
00:09:18.500 Claude's made this super simple.
00:09:19.820 Just go into Co-Work,
00:09:21.040 then you'll see a menu item called Dispatch, click it.
00:09:24.260 You'll see a QR code,
00:09:25.700 pull out the camera app on your phone, scan it,
00:09:28.800 and it'll actually redirect you to the app store
00:09:31.260 to install the app,
00:09:32.200 and then it'll connect your app to your computer.
00:09:34.920 So now you might be out at dinner
00:09:36.540 and realize you forgot something
00:09:37.960 and you wanna send it to your team
00:09:39.080 so you can actually use dispatch on your phone
00:09:41.580 to say, hey, go grab my Martell Ventures pitch deck
00:09:44.180 and send it to Roddy and ask him to give feedback
00:09:45.940 and then send an email to the team with all the updates.
00:09:48.500 So now you can do all the co-work automations
00:09:51.220 executing on your computer
00:09:52.500 because you turned that little setting on, on the go.
00:09:54.700 Hack number 13, Claude Code.
00:09:56.800 It's essentially an AI software developer
00:09:59.240 that can code anything in plain English.
00:10:02.320 A couple months ago, I shut down my whole company
00:10:04.440 for two days and taught everybody
00:10:07.260 how to be a cloud code engineer.
00:10:09.360 If you wanna do 10 times, 100 times more work
00:10:11.660 than anybody else, you have to learn
00:10:13.600 how to build apps in cloud code.
00:10:15.160 And the cool part is, is Anthropic has a full setup guide
00:10:17.540 that'll teach everything to you, and I'll link it up below.
00:10:20.080 And look, there's two types of cloud code.
00:10:22.180 There's using it in the cloud app on your computer,
00:10:25.280 or you can actually do it in the terminal.
00:10:27.540 Now, if you don't know what a terminal is,
00:10:29.040 that's fine just ask claude and it'll tell you how to use it i want you to know that ai is the
00:10:34.400 only technology ever created that teaches you how to use it better one of my ceos todd who's 60 he's
00:10:41.120 not but i joke with him he is literally used claude code to build a ceo dashboard i'm telling you
00:10:46.320 nobody heard from todd for three days then he emerges out of his office and he brings us in
00:10:50.720 there and he's got a tv on the wall and he's showing us this app he built and essentially is
00:10:55.200 doing his job somebody that is not technical not somebody learn how to code he just knows how to
00:11:01.200 talk so this is cool but what if you want to do like coding stuff while you're on the go well
00:11:05.840 that's where hack number 14 comes in claude channels essentially you can use imessage
00:11:10.960 telegram discord to chat with claude so now you can code from anywhere as long as your computer's
00:11:17.840 running anthropic put a full guide together help you set it up so i'll link it below again but at
00:11:22.000 at a high level, here's what you want to do. First, you create your bot on Telegram, iMessage,
00:11:25.760 or Discord. Pair it with clog code in your terminal. And then finally, set up your API
00:11:30.400 keys and skills. Now, API keys is just something you're going to have to learn to do. It's like
00:11:34.180 creating a spreadsheet if you never create a spreadsheet. Once you learn how to do it once,
00:11:37.060 you'll learn that it's just how all these computers talk to each other. Now, you can use
00:11:40.700 clog code from anywhere and build stuff and iterate with it as long as your computer is running. So
00:11:45.500 just tell it what you need it to build. For example, my buddy Arturo was running late and
00:11:49.800 he was about to miss a flight so then he actually messaged cloud code to check his email because he
00:11:53.980 connected it and to look at his calendar because all the details were there and for it to check
00:11:57.980 into his flight for him a lot of people are using cloud code like their own personal ai agent but
00:12:03.080 that's why i built my own platform called apex essentially it's like a digital twin so i have
00:12:07.640 a guy named kai that's my guy and he handles everything but it's way easier to set up it's
00:12:12.980 way more secure and it gives you access and privacy to your own things and it can use all the language
00:12:18.180 models and all the AI. So if you're interested, just click the link in the description and check
00:12:21.820 it out for yourself. Hack number 15, Claude skills. This is where you can train Claude to do a
00:12:27.380 repeatable task for you exactly the same way every time. The way you turn anything into a skill is
00:12:33.040 once you've got something going, you're working with something, you're asking to refine it, just
00:12:36.680 say, turn this into a skill. So to do this, just go on the left side of your sidebar and click
00:12:41.060 customize skills and browse and install, or you can create your own. And the cool part is, is you
00:12:47.380 can install other people's skills ton of them that are created for like legal financials hr type
00:12:52.420 skills there's literally thousands of them shared on github so one of the most popular skills is
00:12:57.580 one called humanizer where it targets the 20 specific ai writing patterns that we all know
00:13:02.300 exist and then it rewrites whatever your ai did in a more human tone and last claude design this
00:13:08.920 one's going to turn everybody into a world-class designer i'm talking pitch decks one pagers landing
00:13:14.100 page mock-ups full apps even motion graphics as of the filming of this video it is the newest
00:13:19.620 release from claude so if you want to use it real simple go to claude.ai forward slash design now
00:13:24.740 just describe what you want and claude will build you a draft in minutes and it can even match your
00:13:29.380 styles brand guides whatever you got you can give it as examples and it'll match that as it designs
00:13:34.020 for you so basically i want to visualize the main points of my book buy back your times maybe i was
00:13:38.740 creating a workbook which already exists but if i didn't i could use this to visualize the points
00:13:43.700 So take those elements out of my book
00:13:45.620 and then create visual examples
00:13:47.440 so that help people learn it easier.
00:13:49.240 And then bada bing, bada boom, done.
00:13:51.920 Like look at it, not visually what I would do,
00:13:54.560 but it gets me there.
00:13:55.620 For most people, it is a game changer.
00:13:57.900 And this is the worst it's ever gonna be.
00:13:59.740 You don't think in six months it's gonna be better?
00:14:01.320 12 months, two years?
00:14:02.920 I think designers need to start learning how to use this.
00:14:05.260 And they recently partnered with Adobe.
00:14:07.180 So the whole design world is gonna get mixed up big time.
00:14:10.440 So I just overloaded your mind with a bunch of hacks,
00:14:13.320 but here's the cool part you don't need to do them all now you just know that they exist
00:14:17.000 so all i need from you is to know which one are you going to use today just leave a comment below
00:14:21.640 and let me know and look if it doesn't work for you that's fine go to the next one ai can be crazy
00:14:26.600 but i trust that you can do this you know people message me all the time they're like dan i feel
