The problem with micromanagers is that they re lazy and don t know how to run a business. They only have one move which is tell me what you re gonna do, let me tell you what you gotta do next and make sure you got it done right. That creates a bottleneck. A true manager isn t supposed to do that. They re supposed to create the environment for the person to win. And if people are on your team just because they have to, because you re paying them, that s not a leader.
