00:00:00.000 ChatGPT just changed business forever and now it's easier than ever to get ahead of 99% of
00:00:05.860 entrepreneurs with AI because most people are still using outdated prompts. I've spent the
00:00:10.720 last five years inside the AI trenches, launching companies, building internal tools, mastering
00:00:16.300 prompts, and I can tell you the top 1% business owners use AI in a completely different way.
00:00:22.080 So I'm going to show you the six ChatGPT hacks that you can use to blow up your business even
00:00:27.120 if you're just starting off so let's get into it number one upgrade to chat gpt plus stop being
00:00:32.600 cheapy cheapy pants stop it spend the money get on chat gpt upgrade to plus it's like a few dollars
00:00:38.200 a month it's worth it one seat will cost you less than a lunch meeting with your team if your goal
00:00:43.160 is to buy back your time there's no easier way it is going to have better features it's going to be
00:00:48.440 faster it's going to be integrated and you'll need the advanced features for the rest of this video
00:00:52.540 so don't sleep on this, just go pro.
00:00:54.760 Now, here's the deal.
00:00:55.820 If your GPT doesn't respond in a way
00:00:58.560 that sounds like it knows who you are,
00:01:00.340 it's because you haven't properly introduced yourself to it.
00:01:04.020 Two, build your role master prompt.
00:01:06.480 To blow up your business using ChatGPT,
00:01:08.740 you have to create what's called a master prompt
00:01:10.920 for every role in your business.
00:01:13.140 Meaning, as the CEO,
00:01:15.160 you want to document everything about who you are,
00:01:18.000 the size of your team, your revenue, your projects,
00:01:20.300 your customer type, your products,
00:01:22.260 everything so that you can give it to chat GPT before you ask it anything so the responses are
00:01:27.860 100% customized to you. Here's how we create this. Number one, tell GPT to interview you to build a
00:01:35.220 master prompt. It knows what that is. So you literally say, interview me to create a master
00:01:40.760 prompt as the CEO of my company. Boom. Send. Perfect. It'll spit back all the questions.
00:01:47.860 And then what I like to do is I like to use a voice mode and I'll just start answering these
00:01:51.100 questions. It'll transcribe it and then it'll create the master prompt for you. The last step
00:01:56.120 is you take the answer to your master prompt and you create it into a canvas, which allows you to
00:02:00.480 edit straight within the app. We'll touch on that later. But once it's done, you save that output
00:02:05.500 as a PDF on your computer. And the coolest part is you can use that for any AI model. Based on
00:02:11.520 one master prompt, ChatGPT can now draft playbooks and SOPs on your behalf, analyze financial
00:02:17.060 information and suggest levers that you can pull to improve the situation, stress test some new
00:02:22.020 product ideas or pricing decisions, propose next hires, score candidates, generate strategies based
00:02:27.660 on the memos that are aligned with your goals. It'll basically know everything it needs as a
00:02:33.060 baseline starting point to give you very actionable and personalized answers. In business, to win,
00:02:39.180 it comes down to sequencing. Sequencing equals success. If the answers aren't aligned with who
00:02:44.420 you are, then it can't properly sequence. If you want access to my internal AI operating system,
00:02:49.700 I use this in every area of my businesses is what my team leads use to operate and automate
00:02:54.940 their departments. It includes the master prompts for every role in the business and all the prompts
00:02:59.980 you can use to implement AI into every one of your departments. Just click the first link in
00:03:04.720 the description below or just scan the QR code on the screen and I'll send it right over. Now that
00:03:08.960 you got gpt knowing who you are it's time to direct number three create system prompts this
00:03:15.500 is one of my favorite nerdy things to do why i'm a programmer if you want to blow up your business
00:03:20.800 using chat gpt you got to create system prompts for your departments this is the future of
00:03:26.520 intellectual property people are going to pay a premium to buy a company not because of like the
00:03:31.880 revenue but also the internal prompts that they've created to automate the work these are not normal
00:03:38.380 chats. These are very detailed, very structured instructions telling the AI exactly what we want
00:03:44.500 it to do. The right system prompts can be so powerful. Today, you see apps being built off of
00:03:51.860 AI engines just through English. How? On the back end, those app builders use these system prompts
00:03:59.300 to guide the AI to create things. I mean, don't get distracted, but if you want something fun to
00:04:04.500 do. Just search on GitHub, the AI app builder repositories like make.com, lovable, etc. And
00:04:10.920 you will see the actual code that they use to run those apps to generate the outputs,
00:04:16.420 which essentially is building apps. It's not magic. It's a system. So here's how you can craft
00:04:22.760 prompts for your business yourself. And it's really easy. First, we have to describe your
00:04:27.280 desired output. And the key is to add the constraints and what you're actually asking
00:04:31.180 for so if you're saying hey create me some videos here's the tone here's the structure here's what i
00:04:35.660 want it to talk about then we build the output into a canvas so that i can refine it it's like a google
00:04:41.900 doc but it's actually living inside of chat gpt that's where i polish the output to make it really
00:04:47.580 sound or look or feel like something i'm proud of then you ask gpt to write a detailed system prompt
00:04:55.180 that would have reliably generated that exact output.
00:04:58.760 Hit enter.
00:04:59.860 Watch it give you the language,
00:05:01.720 which is essentially a prompt
00:05:03.160 that if you copy it and paste it into a new chat window,
00:05:06.060 it would have gave you that specific output.
00:05:08.660 And then just test it.
00:05:09.820 Have GPT run it in a new window
00:05:11.460 and see if the output is consistent.
00:05:13.040 It'll blow your mind.
00:05:14.300 But just look at how it guides the AI to format it,
00:05:18.220 the structure, how it uses the act as a role structure.
00:05:21.580 These things are things I'm gonna talk about in a second,
00:05:23.640 but it's the instruction language of the ai that allows you to guide it to actually make it do
00:05:28.980 exactly what you want it to do then you just save that system prompt as a pdf just like you did a
00:05:34.100 master prompt so you can use it anytime you want it acts like a stencil you just keep using it
00:05:39.080 anytime you want it and it does the thing now i want to give you a pro tip for prompting because
00:05:43.760 what most people don't realize there's like seven key words that if you use it'll change the output
00:05:49.020 of chat gpt to execute exactly as you want it so here's the framework first one is act as role so
00:05:55.180 you set the expertise of the voice for example you can say act as a world-class copywriter next
00:06:00.620 there's do a deep research just hit forward slash and type deep research this tells the ai to
00:06:05.980 do a deep search aggregate all the information verify cross-reference and synthesize with any
00:06:11.420 citations what it's found next there's first principles when you tell it to use first
00:06:16.780 principles to go do research it decomposes everything into the fundamentals and actually
00:06:21.740 teaches it how to break the steps apart and then rebuilds the answer based on truth the next one is
00:06:26.860 devil's advocate this is my favorite because i think gpt for the most part is way too nice
00:06:31.420 but you can actually tell it to stress test your assumptions list risks about things failure modes
00:06:36.780 and give you a counter argument by telling it to act like a devil's advocate next is constraints
00:06:41.500 first most people don't set the constraints in regards to time budgets timelines the tools but
00:06:47.720 if every reply is based on anything that's possible but i don't tell it to give it the constraints
00:06:52.500 first then it's not going to be specific to my situation the next one is format as this is one
00:06:58.020 i use almost 100 of time where i tell it to format the return using a strict structure i'm a big fan
00:07:04.320 of yaml json if i'm doing code stuff pdf we just did you can even tell it to put it in a table or
00:07:10.120 a numbered bullet list. But when we specify the format, it allows us to take the information and
00:07:15.040 use it in other tools or just be able to copy and paste it into an SMS to reply to somebody a lot
00:07:20.180 easier. Finally, verify and cite. Write these in your prompt so you can confirm that everything
00:07:25.700 they're telling you is a fact against a source that can be verified and attaches an inline
00:07:30.540 reference. If you use these instructions in your GPT prompts, you'll get way better results.
00:07:35.700 Now that you've got a system for outputs, let's make your context permanent.
00:07:39.500 Number four, run your company as projects.
00:07:43.080 Projects, projects, projects.
00:07:44.840 Do you have any projects going on right now?
00:07:46.480 Cool.
00:07:46.920 Are you using the project folders?
00:07:48.300 No, you should.
00:07:49.520 See, to really blow up your business with ChadGBT,
00:07:52.440 use projects to save the context
00:07:54.540 around what you're working on for each department.
00:07:57.000 I use it for everything.
00:07:58.740 I use it for investment decisions.
00:08:00.160 I use it for research.
00:08:01.200 I use it for projects.
00:08:02.320 I put all the information in there,
00:08:04.140 the media, the sales information, the reporting.
00:08:06.600 I even export email threads as a PDF document and throw that in there so that it has everything I
00:08:13.680 need to be able to answer questions on my behalf. For example, I get updates from CEOs that have
00:08:18.380 invested in their company, and oftentimes they're asking me to look at the information. So I put all
00:08:22.880 of that context in a project folder, then I can prompt it and say, act as an investor, let me know
00:08:28.300 all the questions I should be asking this CEO to protect my investment and also add value to their
00:08:33.800 world. And it'll analyze everything. And it'll say on page 67, the gross margins went down after
00:08:39.380 you launched this new ad campaign. That's amazing. And I just tell it to write it in the tone of Dan
00:08:44.600 Martel because it knows who I am. And it writes the email reply saving me literally hours. So
00:08:50.140 here's how you can set up project folders for yourself. First off, on the left side of your
00:08:54.220 chat GPT, it literally says projects, click new projects and give it a name. So for example,
00:08:59.700 new email campaign. And you'll have all of the creative, your brand guidelines, your style
00:09:06.580 guides, everything, your tonality, your market research, your ICPs. You can upload all those
00:09:10.720 marketing documents. And then you could say, based on this new campaign, write the emails that I'm
00:09:16.020 going to want to put together to get your list to do whatever. Then it's going to respond with
00:09:21.480 the specific emails using all the information that it had in that document. And again, if you
00:09:26.800 have a master prompt for your role, if you're the head of marketing, then upload that as well
00:09:31.000 because it's going to use that context. The output, email campaigns, ads, proposals are only going to
00:09:37.500 be as good as the information, the context it has about your specific situation and projects let you
00:09:43.360 isolate it. The best part, if it's an ongoing project, every chat you've had for different
00:09:48.340 pieces that you want it to build will use that information to actually perfect the response on
00:09:53.680 future chats within that project. The key concept here is compounding context. The more context that
00:10:00.500 compounds, the better the response are going to be. Now, projects are great, but what if you want
00:10:05.480 to update your whole company's context? Number five, update your custom instructions. To really
00:10:11.680 blow up your business with ChatGPT, update your company's custom instructions. Think of your
00:10:17.820 ChatGPT account like your company's brain, and now you can set the specific instructions for it to
00:10:23.420 know and use every time so that when it replies it uses that to do this you want to go under your
00:10:28.700 profile click settings and then go under personalization and you'll see a little
00:10:33.260 window say custom instructions this is where you want to talk about the behavior how it should
00:10:38.140 respond the style how you like answers if you like them short and concise that's mine
00:10:42.140 the tone and preferences always respond to short concise bulleted points always format in ascii
00:10:47.900 always format in a structure i can copy and paste you can even say respond in eighth grade language
00:10:52.700 at all times to be direct and avoid fluff.
00:10:54.980 You can tell it, whatever you want it to do forever,
00:10:57.840 you set that at the count level, your business level,
00:11:01.520 so that it answers that way every time.
00:11:03.780 That'll save your progress.
00:11:05.460 Now we have to unblock the rest of your team
00:11:07.480 with custom creations.
00:11:09.060 Number six, building custom GPTs.
00:11:12.080 This is where it gets fun.
00:11:13.580 Don't just prompt, productize your prompts.
00:11:16.740 Remember those system prompts we talked about earlier?
00:11:18.940 This is actually how we turn it into a tool
00:11:21.320 that not only you use to do your work,
00:11:23.500 you can give to other people on your team
00:11:26.260 so they can do it for you.
00:11:28.040 These custom GPTs literally will save you hours.
00:11:31.420 You set them up, it takes minutes,
00:11:32.920 and then you never have to do this ever again.
00:11:35.520 It is the most powerful way to use ChatGPT.
00:11:38.740 The way my day looks is I'm always trying
00:11:40.740 to create new system prompts
00:11:41.960 to solve major problems inside my companies,
00:11:44.140 like wherever the bottlenecks are,
00:11:45.620 and then I lock that lesson into a custom GPT.
00:11:48.980 So for example, I love to read books.
00:11:51.120 I love to learn from other people.
00:11:53.260 Some people have never written books
00:11:54.820 on the topics I want to learn from them.
00:11:56.820 So what I did one day is I spent two hours
00:11:58.920 creating a very advanced system prompt
00:12:01.360 that I could give it a name of a person and a topic
00:12:04.080 and it would write a 2000 word book outline.
00:12:07.820 Sarah Blakely from Spanx on parenting,
00:12:10.220 here's a whole book outline.
00:12:11.520 My wife Renee Warren on being unapologetic,
00:12:13.900 here's a whole book outline.
00:12:15.340 Gary Vaynerchuk on scaling a media company, book outline.
00:12:18.320 Mr. Beast on building a media department,
00:12:21.120 book outline it's wild so what happened is I showed some friends the output and they're like
00:12:26.160 oh I want to use that I want to use that and I was like oh giving you the system prompt might be a
00:12:29.460 little too hard so I just took that prompt put it into a custom GPT grabbed the link and I shared
00:12:34.840 that that is a beautiful use of a custom GPT so here's how you can set up a custom GPT and it's
00:12:40.080 easy because you already have all the ingredients number one go to chat GPT click GPTs and in the
00:12:45.100 top right corner you'll see create so click that little fun fact you can't do it on the mobile app
00:12:50.100 So what I do on my mobile phone is I go to a browser
00:12:52.800 and then you just kind of scroll over in the browser
00:12:55.180 on ChatGPT and you can click create from there.
00:12:57.440 You just can't do it from within the app today.
00:12:59.840 Second thing is you want to input the instructions.
00:13:02.180 This is the system prompt you created earlier.
00:13:04.800 You can put that in there.
00:13:05.940 Plus, if you want, you can upload the master prompt
00:13:08.280 with all the context by clicking upload files
00:13:10.740 under the knowledge section.
00:13:12.160 Then once you've created it, you get a link
00:13:14.560 and you can set it to anyone
00:13:16.000 or just the people that have the link.
00:13:17.840 And then you can share with anyone to try it.
00:13:19.900 use it i do sit here and preview those chats just to make sure that it's doing what i think it's
00:13:24.380 doing but once it's really locked and loaded i'll go and pilot it with a smaller group of people to
00:13:28.780 make sure it works for them then i'll roll it out to the rest of the company using slack the more
00:13:33.180 these custom gpt tools you build within your company the faster you can grow the less worry
00:13:39.580 of are people doing the right thing you're able to let go of areas of your business because you've
00:13:44.540 coded the behavior inside the system prompt so you don't have to stress out as long as they're
00:13:49.500 using the output and they're not freestyling they can't mess it up if you follow these chat gpt
00:13:54.700 hacks your business is guaranteed to grow because chat gpt isn't just like a chat bot it's essentially
00:14:01.260 your creative operating system you use it as like mission control to like figure out like where am
00:14:06.300 i stuck and how do i overcome those problems i call it becoming the director see in the future
00:14:11.420 when all the problems that you need to solve are no longer problems because you can get the answer
00:14:15.580 from gpt then the real skill to develop is figuring out what problems to work on and to solve those
00:14:22.300 you have to be a director not a doer here's the one thing i need you to do today go create your
00:14:28.220 master prompt my vision is for you to have 92 percent of all your work done by ai so that you
00:14:35.020 can spend the eight percent on your craft your genius cultivating curating editing its output
00:14:41.260 you don't have to be involved in the creation from scratch and remember your system prompts
00:14:46.700 are essentially your new intellectual property the more you invest in them the more you invest
00:14:51.020 in your team to learn ai and they create these when somebody goes to buy your business they're
00:14:54.700 going to value at a higher multiple because you have them so start today and as a reminder if you
00:14:59.340 want to access my internal ai operating system that i use in all areas of my business including
00:15:04.140 the master prompts for every role and the prompts you can use to implement ai into every department
00:15:09.740 just click the first link in the description below or just scan the qr code and i'll send it
00:15:13.260 right over and if you want to learn about the 15 ai tools i'm using in all of my companies today
00:15:18.380 click the video and i'll see you on the other side
